Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football priests, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographic location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a state of being.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_00]: Workmen, everybody.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's the Mile High Huddle Podcast.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm your host, Chad Jensen with me.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: My fellow football priest, you know him.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: You love him, Zach.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: Kelberman, Zach.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: The MHH Roundtable drop today, we can, for, I don't know if we've been able to do this at all this year, right?
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: We're always talking about ahead of time.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: We're not really able to talk about it after we've already rendered them.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get into that.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: But first things first, Zach, the Bill's injury report came out to players ruled out officially and a bunch of you guys questionable.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: What was your take on that?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_01]: They're pretty beat up right now.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know that's going to be the headlines and the excuses if the Broncos win this game, Josh Allen is going to start, but he's battling a trioca of injuries, Chad, a couple other players.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: They lost Gabe Davis.
- 1:01[SPEAKER_01]: They lost Shavers, the third year receiver, who is a contributor in that offense.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: Harrison the quarterback is out.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: They are pretty beat up, but it's still an imposing opponent for the Broncos.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: They cannot afford no matter who they're playing as injured as they can be.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: They cannot afford to punch down or play with their food or whatever.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: They have to take this bill's team very, very seriously.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, indeed, and good news for the Broncos, just as Sean Peyton basically telegraphed on Monday.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was Dre Greenlaw, is listed as a full go, along with John Franklin Myers, but Zach neither of the two IR designated to return guys, Drew Sanders or Lucas Crowe are gonna play in this game.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Both ruled out, so maybe they're just kind of getting a look see in the event that they advanced to the AFC championship game.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe I've been saying for a while.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's common sense that whatever anything the Broncos get out of Drew Sanders this season is going to be a bonus.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's looking like it's another wasted season for him.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll see what happens there.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: The good thing is like you mentioned they are getting back two starters in Greenlaw and John Franklin Myers.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to be a full strength for the first time in a while, except for safety Brandon Jones, who is more than likely out for the season that's paid and intimated earlier this week.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, the biggest thing that concerns me, we got some answers, obviously, on the bills, injury reports, still a lot of questions.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: One of those questions is what concerns me, last season in the wildcard round, Curtis Samuel, he made some plays, he's been on IR.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: with Hamlin and Ed Oliver.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: All three are listed, Zach, as questionable.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: The two guys that concern me though, coming out.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Hamlin, of course, but Samuel and Ed Oliver, because the Bill's rushing defense is we'll see a little bit later in tonight's show, and we hit the head to head is not what it was last season, but he's missed a lot of time this year.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I imagine I can only assume based on educated guesses and what we've observed over the years that Ed Oliver being reinserted into the bill's defensive line gonna make it a little bit tougher to run the ball and the Broncos accents week 10 aren't exactly a rushing champion type of team.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if this was a regular season game, I don't know that they would rush Oliver back.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: They just started his clock to come back off IR chat and he's like he said he hasn't played for a while, but it's going to be all hands-on deck and a winner die winner go home game for Buffalo.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe you'll see Oliver Curtis Samuel and also Brandon Cook's who's emerging on offense as well, speech to receiver.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: He can hurt the Broncos over the top.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Fortunately, we talk about the Broncos running game.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: They're not that good anyway, running the football as you mentioned, Chad.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe Oliver coming back, it's got like a net neutral addition.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: We shall see how it shakes out.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: Some halos real quick.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: We got the Papa bear checking in.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: A Mount Rushmore superstar, a dear friend, a dear member saying good evening, Broncos country has to agree 17 and three.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think we all know what that means.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Love it, dude.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Papa bears great to see you pal.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to a member, string guy saying good evening.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: Please tell me the defense will be healthy enough to at least slow Josh Allen down.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think Denver wins if we get into a shootout.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: The defense Zach the Broncos really for a team that's gone through the 17 game war of attrition.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: They're about as healthy as any team under the sun could reasonably expect to have or be at, right?
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like
- 4:34[SPEAKER_00]: The J.K. Dobbins, Brandon Jones, Luke Wonberg.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the big three.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, their presence, their absence, I should say has been felt since each one went down.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: But overall, every single guy that's on the 53 man roster is healthy.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_00]: Good to go tomorrow.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, or Saturday.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: So, the defense string guy, Raj, healthy.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they're going to be properly prepared.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: to get after Josh Allen, who, by the way, is nursing three injuries, a trio of injuries.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, as I mentioned a few minutes ago, Roger, the braggos are going to be a full strength on defense for the first time in quite a while except for Brandon Jones.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's the only exception.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: And as Chad was talking about there for the, for it's be this late in the season and only one guy is missing from their defense is a big testament to the strength of conditioning staff, bow, lorry, and and dial rimple and everything they're doing over there.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's a it's night and day from how it used to be with the previous side strength
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: That is faux show.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: Taylor Christensen, great to see another one of our dear members in the house saying hot fellas, it's time for the Broncos to show why they are here.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: And number one, baby, last year, the goal was just getting in, getting the experience, go Broncos, Denver Broncos.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: So that's something Sean Payton talked about recently, too, Zach, that last year, the Broncos made it to the playoffs proved that they belong here, but this
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: it's about a lot more than just proven you belong.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's about winning the whole damn thing.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Taylor, that's exactly what Sean Peyton, his three-point plan for the Broncos 2025 season.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't just getting in.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't just winning the division.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: It was getting the one seed, winning the conference championship, and then winning the freaking Super Bowl, or at least reaching the Super Bowl, and then winning it.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: So step one is done, and now we're on a step two.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: So the Pat Bowl and standard is back in Denver, and that's something we should all be really
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: I certainly am.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_00]: It feels good.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: Does it not Broncos country.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: So Taylor.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Big Dog.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: We got M. Blacks in the house.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's here to party.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: We got David Yunkin.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: So JFM Greenlaw are back.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they are.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Rock in the house saying good evening, Chad and Zach on the mile.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: I huddle podcast.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Go Bob Broncos.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: So many awesome members already, the chats just start to fill up in so many Mount Rushmore superstars, feels like home.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for being here.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: You guys were stoked to see a pro 16 a dear member.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad to see all the boys on the mile high, huddle or mile high round table took the Broncos this week.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yep, across the board.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: And that's interesting because you might expect Chad and Zach to pick the Broncos.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: What's a good way of putting it?
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: Pragmatic guys, right?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: The black and white football guys like Nick Kendall Eric trickle both of them pick the Broncos and man it just feels like something's different this time about the Broncos and I don't know it's hard to kind of put your finger on but Zach
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think a big part of it is just kind of the culmination of everything we've seen and witnessed throughout the season.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's time for it all to come together, but it does to me feel different.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like I will admit, when the Broncos qualified for the seventh and final seed in the AFC last year and what was a week 18, the final opportunity to qualify.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, oh, got the playoff, drought, monkey off their back.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: Just kind of happy to be there, right?
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Just happy to say, all right, made the playoffs first year, Bo Nix.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: This time, it's all about bringing home that Lumbardi trophy.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: You've, it's so hard, Zach, to get the one seed and secure home field advantage when those opportunities come in.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: Woe unto thee, if you squander it.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're not car wash coupon to Sean Payton said, and I can't remember last year at this time, if I picked the Broncos in the roundtable to beat the bills in the wild car ground, if I did, I didn't feel great about it, and I'll be honest, pro-16 and everyone else.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: There have been sometimes where I picked the Broncos to win, where I wasn't sure in my heart that they would, but I still went ahead and did it anyway.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: This time, I did pick the Broncos.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: I said it's gonna be a close game or I predicted a close game, but I genuinely, like Chad also feels, I genuinely believe they are going to upset Buffalo.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: They should be in no position to upset Buffalo.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: They should be favorites in this game, but I genuinely believe in my heart.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos are going to win on Saturday.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I took them.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's why a lot of people took them.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: Well said, buddy, Mike Thompson, a dear member, hey friends, he's picking Broncos, 27, 17, a two score win.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: That would be,
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: a statement, seriously, and Blacks gifted a membership in the chat.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, brother.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, M Blacks still helping out a lot, keeping the MHH Discord rolling on the reg.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: So if you guys have yet to join the free MHH Discord server, link is in the description of the video.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: Come join us, guys.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: Zach, we have a very generous super chat coming in.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: From the top row, from a Mount Rushmore superstar Shannon Mills and a deer member, she says, Good evening.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: I hope Sean commits to the run game and doesn't abandon it like other teams have.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: That could be the formula for the win.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: As you guys will see in the head to head, this bill's rushing defense is not what it has been in years past.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: They've taken some major steps backward this season.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: Big part of that though, it's worth mentioning in my opinion anyway, has been some of the injuries they've dealt with one of which at all over who could be back.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's on IR.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: They'd have to actually activate him.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's listed as questionable.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: They can go all the way up to day up before they actually activate him.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if there's no word that he's been activated come, you know, 15, 20 or well, probably when they start warming up safe bet that he's not going to make it, but a lot of these guys back on the bills who are either on IR trying to fight back or banged up.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: Man, they're like, it's do or die.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna sacrifice and play it, you know, slightly diminish capacity.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: If that's what it means, or what it takes to get out on the field.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: So, running the ball, if the Broncos stick to it, I do think that this is a game where they could find especially at home, see some success.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned other teams abandoning the run.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: How about the Bronco Shannon they've been a culprit number one in doing that.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's been one of my biggest gripes with Sean Peyton is that if you look at the box score of every game Bonex will have like 40 passes and they'll have 15 runs combined between three running backs and also Bonex as well.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, you want Sean Peyton to commit and you no matter
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: how well the Brock was running game does.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like he goes away from it, but you wanted to commit ultimately.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he will.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think we'll see more of that a balance of tack on Saturday.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: Shannon, thank you again, my friend.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Your support has meant the world to us this year.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: So each one, just to remind everybody, we're going to be sending out a little care package to all 20 members of the 2025 Mount Rushmore team, so to speak.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_00]: So more details to follow on that.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: In utter transparency, I'm just waiting for a final sign off on the design of a particular t-shirt that's going to be coming y'all's way.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: Most of you have reached out with your email, by the way, to let me know your t-shirt size and address.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: If you haven't, and you were a Mount Rushmore superstar.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: e-mail us, my hello to gmail.com.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: All right, guys, lots more that we are gonna get to tonight.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's really exciting because we are going to be doing the first head to head of the playoffs.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: But first, guys, listen up, playoffs are here and underdog remains the best place to get in on all that action.

- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right, back to the chat.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: I want to grab this from a dear member, Mike, who says, I said before the season, if Denver's defense stays healthy, they will win it all, and we are close enough.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the only guy you're missing on defense is Brandon Jones.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_00]: War of attrition, 17 games.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: You won 14 of the deck on things.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: You earned the buy.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: Going into this game, you are as rested and healthy as you could reasonably expect to be.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you're gonna see that energy
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: from this Bronco defense out of the gates and it's gonna be like, of course, easier said than done.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: We all know the beast, Josh Allen is that, but I think it's gonna be like blood in the water for sharks knowing that, by the way, here's what he's dealing with, knowing that as far as his injuries, he's dealing with a foot, a knee, and a finger on his throwing hand.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: So knowing that, this defense man, they're gonna be out for blood, so to speak.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and Mike is one of the more optimistic Broncos fans around, so I can definitely appreciate that.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Mike, thank you for the comment.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: Good to see you, buddy.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Sue Gibson, how are you?
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: Stoke to see another member in the chat.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see here.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to try and make sure I hit all the members, but we don't have Mr. Producer tonight.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I kind of have to scroll.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: Savage Rick, a dear member, wants to know, how is the bills offensive line?
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Is it good enough to stop a needle in company?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: It's a very good offensive line.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: very, very good offensive line.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_00]: And it's of course Zach led by Pro Bowl left tackle deon Dawkins.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a great right tackle in Spencer Brown.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: So it's one of the better offensive lines in the NFL.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, it's at on the same level as the Broncos, maybe not quite, but it's very good in Zach.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's very experienced.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: Let's not forget last year.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: They just set up, lined up, telegraphed what they're going to do and said, hey, Broncos, Daria to stop us and they just rammed it down, Denver's throat, 210 rushing yards, James Cook over 100 yards, Josh Allen rushed, first nearly 50 yards.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's a really good offense of why.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: Now is it exactly the same?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: No, but it's a very good unit.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: And so you look at the matchups a little bit.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: Here's that Benito.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to have it easy.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_00]: going against Dawkins, because that's the side he likes to line up on mostly, but I think there's an opportunity for him.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's an opportunity Zach for Jonathan Cooper, whose getoff is ridiculous with all the noise it's going to be raining down on the bills.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think he has a chance against Brown there at Wright Tackle.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, they can be good at just like Pittsburgh's line back in the day with Robisberger was good.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: No one talks about that because Robisberger was always shocking tackles and making plays and Josh Allen's the same way.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: So whether they're good or bad is a little less important, Rick, because they have Josh Allen and he's always going to find a way to get a pass off or escape something to run down the field.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: So the Broncos are going to have to be on their peas and queues and Benito, when they get their hands on him, get him down on the ground.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: Good to see you Rick.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you buddy.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: We got Seth Harmon in the house.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on an OG superstar and a dear member Seth goes back many years with the MHH community here.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: How many sacks he says do you guys see in this game.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's a really good question.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: I watched Zach.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: The John Gruden.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: As you guys know, I'm a fan of Chuck E.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I watched his breakdown of Bill's Broncos, by the way, he picked the Broncos.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_00]: And one of the things he really honed in on, and he talks about it a lot if you watch him, but is sac differential.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we all know what turnover differential is.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna look at it when we get to the head to head.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: Sac differential is you take the number of sacs your defense,
- 17:42[SPEAKER_00]: has gotten on the season and then you subtract the number of sacs your quarterback is taken and whatever that number is is your sack differential and the Broncos have an unseen unheard of never before even come close to sack differential number because you had to 68 sacs sack and then bone next finished as the least sack quarterback tied as the least sack quarterback in the NFL.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: for what it's worth.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: I know this isn't exactly what you're asking at first here Seth, but Zach, I see bow going down twice because the bills are going to be desperate man.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: They're you're going to get their best shot.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: But I see the Broncos sacking Josh Allen four times and just really hitting him a lot.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_00]: I see him getting hit a lot in this one.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what I was going to say.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think the sack number on Josh Allen would be a little lower, maybe two or three sacks, but they're going to have a lot of pressure on him.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to hit him.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to make him uncomfortable, and that's going to be, you know, pressure is production, too.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have to be just sacks.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: So they're going to make his life more uncomfortable, and knowing that he's already coming to this game kind of banged up, they're going to be out for blood on Saturday.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: No doubt, and he's so hard to bring down, you know, and I think one thing that gives me a little pause when I think about answering a question like this is going against a quarterback such as Allen, you think about Nick Benito down the stretch in December, especially like how many have him in the grasp and they step out of it, sacks that he missed.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like he could have easily finished with 1819 sacks just from those situations that were squandered in December
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: You got to bring the whole squad half the time to get him down like it's it's absolutely crazy.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: So Lane discipline rush lane discipline is going to be huge Eric's talked a lot about so is Nick on the morning show and Jonathan Cooper that's something that he has kind of been flagging on In the final quarter of the season he's got to stay disciplined and if I'm advanced Joseph
- 19:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm balancing with whatever defenses I'm calling, whatever blitz packages I'm calling, whatever coverage is that I'm balancing that with a reliable and consistent spy because Josh Allen, he's going to pull the ball down and run.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of the best off schedule creator quarterbacks in the history of the NFL.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why it's in me would be huff.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's the responsibility that I would give him down on the box is keep your eyes on Josh Allen.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's a shirt hackler chat.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: He can go sideline to sideline.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's the guy that I would lean on to keep Josh Allen as a runner within the pocket in the line of scrimmage completely in check, or at least mostly in check.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you again Seth, it's great to see you big dog and for guys like you that have been with us since the dark dark days man of 2019 2020 2021 2022 you know that window of time we all went through and suffered through quite a lot so you're one of those guys Seth I think oh my yeah do good for you I'm so stoked for you what the Broncos are doing as my brings up here this is a request guys if you're going to be at the game.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: deafening noise from the crowd at a very specific point.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now, of course, anytime the bill's offenses on the field, he wants that noise, but specifically he wants the crescendo in the first 10 seconds when they enter the huddle.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, the longer Broncos country at a power field can sustain that noise of the better, but he's like, hey, man, it's half the place, right?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Cause you figure out probably bills in compass half the place, 10 seconds per play, give us that.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and if there's any fan base in the NFL, that's going to utilize home field advantage to the teams advantage more than the, I can't think of what may be Seattle almost see about that this weekend, but if there's any fan base that can do it.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's definitely Broncos country.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to be rockets.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to be full-throated and that first incomplete Shannon is going to be goose bump inducing can't wait to hear it.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Tucson Phil checking in on Facebook.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: Great to see you, brother.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: He says good evening, Chad Zach and beacon Scott Scott's not with us tonight, but I'm sure he'll hear this when he does the edit and stuff.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, he says I just got a feeling this is not a close game.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: his justification bills are so banged up, he's pickin' Zach Denver by 11 with a buckham and MHH for life, Broncos for life.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: I love it, brother.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, man, if you're feeling that sand, you're feeling bold by all means.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: I see this is, if you guys read the round table today, I picked the Broncos to win by a score and I'm picking and will lots, my prediction is will lots, walk off field goal advanced to the AFC championship game.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: Phil, but this is the playoffs, this is the bills, this is Josh Allen being up though they are.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I went 23 to 20 Broncos in my roundtable prediction, like Chad said, it's going to be down to the wire, fourth quarter, dramatic, cardiac kids on full display, but Phil, even if we took away a digit there, I would be happy if they won by one point.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_01]: If they just eat their way past Buffalo to get to the AFC title game, that's all that matters, but I'm glad that you're confident.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: And again, a lot of us feel this very calm feeling, this very,
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: Collected feeling about the Broncos not as many nerves as they're we're going into the wild card game last year I pick Broncos 2423 But that walk off so it'll be fun.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_00]: Both Zach and I see this as a one score down to the wire kind of a fair So we'll see how it shakes out, but it's really good to see you fill appreciate you big dog We also have boss man Jay check in there Roady sailing down elbow first Bam
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: Brother, thank you for your generous generous support.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_00]: You to Man, he says, I missed most of the shows lately, but my wife and I caught tonight's show.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: We'll shout to Boss Man J in the misses.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_00]: Our line up for 2026 is a Broncos Super Bowl win, and then Baby Denver born on March 2nd.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: Everything else is TBD with a newborn.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: dude, how cool is that?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: Are you naming the baby Denver?
- 23:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just curious, but either way, I've known that you and the misses are expecting so congrats to you and all that stuff, and I hope it unfolds for the Broncos just as you say big dog.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, Jay, first of all, thank you to you and your wife for watching.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: Congratulations to both of you, but if the Broncos win the Super Bowl, I think you're going to go ahead and name the baby bow.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's awesome though man.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: Congrats super excited for you guys that is amazing.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for the support again big dog
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, shouts to the old man, Mr. Jensen's in the house on Facebook and he's a Facebook or bus guy.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they exist out there, Zach.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_00]: They exist.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: My father is definitely one of a, but he's saying something that I echo a hundred percent, but needle needs to step up in order for the Broncos to win this game.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: And why that's a specially salient Zach aside from what we've already discussed this evening is if you think back to the wild card last year,
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: be bills clearly identified bonito as a vulnerability to attack mainly because of his rush defense.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's gotten better, but he's never going to be the biggest guy that can hold up at the point of attack.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he can set the edge here and there with relative competencies act, but
- 25:16[SPEAKER_00]: But he don't man, how are you going to handle it when you got a tackle and a guard bearing down on you in the balls coming right behind him, etc.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_00]: So amen to that pops and let's hope that he holds up not only against the run, but gets after Josh Allen brings him down a few times.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: That was like the debate on social media when the all pro selections came out shed Nick Benito did not make all pro and a lot of Brock was fans thought he was snubbed well the argument was he disappeared you know if you want to be all pro you can't take three four games off or go long stretches of the season without making impacts he's being paid now to be like a TJ what or to be a Mike a Parsons and you can't be absent for that long without being those guys
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: Those guys made all pro for a reason.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: So absolutely Mr. Jensen.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the comment.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: You're 100% right.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: He is one of their defensive Linchpins and he's going to have to step up and be a leader on Saturday.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: A string guy, J FM, is he going to be in game shape coming off the injury?
- 26:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: He missed one game.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he missed the season finale, drag green lawn miss the final two regular season games.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, they've been practicing since Friday.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_00]: They got him back in the saddle Friday indoor practice.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_00]: And they ran it as like a OTA style practice act, but Friday started kind of the mission before they got into the game planning because they didn't know who they were playing yet.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_00]: And it was all about situational, two minute, third down, red zone, et cetera.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: And the Broncos really want to be sharp in those areas for obvious reasons.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: Rock, Sam Darnold suffered an injury today in practice these day to day.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: I saw a hint of that.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't really follow up on the story.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I was getting a streamset up Zach.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: What's, do you know the story on this?
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: The story is that if he can't go wrong,
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: Drew Locke, everyone's favorite quarterback, the guy that we championed around here, Chad, to a fault.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: And we've had a scrape egg of our faces since then, but yeah, I don't know exactly the latest on Donald.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I know like you said he has the injury, and we'll see what happens this weekend.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_00]: Looks like an oblique for Sam Donald.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: In proud of fantasy at all.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm not crying over this.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: I own the future kind of concern at the Broncos advanced to the Super Bowl and but if he's day to day, he'd be good by then anyway, if they're able to survive a potential run in
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: without him.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_00]: So good update.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for that rock.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you big dog.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: We got Brad Murdock in the house.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: Great to see you pal.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_00]: I dear member in a long time superstar saying good evening, Chad and Zach and everyone on the MHH.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos take it 24 21 on a will let's walk off.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it guys.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm right there with you pal.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm right there with you.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: man, I can see it right now.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: I can visualize it.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, big nuts, lots coming through once again.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: I laughed to myself, Chad, because it's funny.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: You, me, a lot of people in the comments section, including Brad, think it's going to be another typical Broncos game where it comes out of the fourth quarter.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: It comes down in the final play.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: It comes down to a field goal.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to all be just emotionally exhausted, but in the best way possible, because your Denver Broncos
- 28:40[SPEAKER_00]: no doubt no doubt buddy but you know when I was thinking up my score you know I went 2423 again we're gonna look at the head ahead in fact we'll get to that here very shortly but I'm going
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: Are the bills going to get a lot of touchdowns or they are I guess a better way of saying it is or the bills going to be getting touchdowns or they're going to be getting field goals.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_00]: And if so, how does that shape the score?
- 29:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to be kind of a slightly weird or score.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean 24 or 23 is not that weird, but you know, 19, 23.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: something like that.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a weird game 16.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos may be only score 19.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they only score 20.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be, now some of you are seeing some fireworks, some of you Zach were seeing folks in the chat predicting two score victory.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_00]: Man, if it shakes out like that, I will absolutely eat my hat and be totally psyched about it.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: would we have it any other way with this 20 25 Broncos team most come back victories in the NFL the 33 point you know quarter whatever was shot against the giants I mean that's how they do it we might see them sleepwalk in the first quarter We might see that not the best football in the first half, but we know come the fourth quarter the team is going to just turn it freaking on and it's going to be a very very exciting ending good or bad no doubt about it real quick Rodney
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: says remember when we faced Lamar Jackson back in 2021 he was banged up he beat us through the air still Josh Allen's a fighting machine we can't take them lightly.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: Guys that's one of the things I can promise you is some fans and maybe even some folks Zach and the media are going man at some point all these injuries got to add up and mean something for these bills and they might be sleeping on them a little
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: they're not their Broncos will get or I should say bills will get Broncos 100% best shot.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like every time the Broncos play Lamar Jackson, I can't think of it time where they played him and it wasn't just utter domination for Baltimore.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think back to last season, they won.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: What was it?
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: 41, 10 or something like that?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, you're going to get the best version of Josh Allen.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: And as I said on KK, kelvin's corner on Tuesday, Josh Allen at 80% is better than
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: food for actual way of putting it.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_00]: And guys, if you are missing those kelberman corner kelberman corner episodes every Tuesday for members only on YouTube, noon, mountain time, 2 p.m. Eastern, just become a member at either level, you're in like Flynn.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: hot takes the whole water.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: Keith and then we're going to grab an adventure soldier.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: A deer member Keith says, I pretty much got laughed at for this, but do you guys think PS2 is going to cover the tight end with some of their top-wide receivers basically gone for the bills?
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: So that's an interesting, I don't know why you're getting laughed at for that, but because Sir Tan has done that at times.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: What's your thought here for Keith's that?
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they still have a Khalil Shakir.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: As far as I know, he's healthy.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's their wide receiver one.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's Josh Allen safety blanket, despite them losing Gabe Davis and Shavers.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know, maybe PS2 would guard him because he's their best receiver.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: But I like the way you're thinking.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know if it's practical in this game.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_01]: One of the Bill's Titans, either Kintate or Knox, he is injured.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_01]: Kintate is going to be banged up coming in this game.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know that you're going to have to put PS2 on him.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: If I had a guess, Keith, I think PS2 will be on Khalil Shakir.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's King Cade who was officially, let me see, officially listed as a full go.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's dealing with a knee and a calf.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got two injuries for what it's worth.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: But Zach's right guys, they have three healthy on the roster receivers.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_00]: Not just healthy receivers on the three total receivers currently on the roster after putting
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: Shavers and what's the other guys name him.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_00]: David, thank you on IR this week.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_00]: Those three receivers are key on Coleman, Brandon Cooks, and the aforementioned Khaleel Shakir.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_00]: And Shakir's led the team this season.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_00]: More of a slot guy.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how it shakes out Brandon Cooks.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: He can get you.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's 32 those act and Sean Peyton knows him well.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: So we shall see, but hey man, whatever you got to do to stop him.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: Aligning PS2 with the tight end by all means man, get after it adventure soldier and then we'll take a break from the chat for just a short time to do the head to head jumping into say what's up at my CH community Broncos country dude great seeing another key member says I have a good feeling about this weekend and I'm hoping mimms Marvin mimms junior and jolilma go offland
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: Light it up.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_00]: Also, can we get Bond Miller on the cheap to retire as a Bronco?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_00]: Zach will put a pin in the Vaughn thing for a second.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_00]: Here's what's interesting.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: I already mentioned.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_00]: I watched the, uh, the Groot and Bill's Broncos breakdown.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: He had two X factors for the Broncos offense.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: Both guys last name starts with an M, both guys were just mentioned right here by Solja, Mims and McLaughlin.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_00]: And Mims, Zach has, for the most part, kind of been disappeared from the offense, like he had a little bit of impact early in the season.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: He did miss some time with a concussion, but he's kind of been an afterthought other than here and there gadget guy.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think you could see him in this game, Zach, being utilized down the field, whereas McLaughlin,
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: time for him to get a bigger bite at the apple and actually give you like pretty close to even touch share with RJ Harvey your thoughts.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_01]: Remember when Marvin Mims caught too long touchdowns against the bangles including a contested cash on a Hail Mary?
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: What happened to that Marvin Mims?
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: What happened to that Broncos downfield passing attack?
- 34:45[SPEAKER_01]: I do not know if it was the
- 34:51[SPEAKER_00]: Ascension.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the man you factored ascension.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you of Troy Franklin.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think Mims is going to be the bigger X factor.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: I think Chad's right.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to continue being just the gadget guy.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: McLaughlin though.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_01]: And I've been pushing for this.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: I know Chad has as well.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_01]: He has some juice.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_01]: And he has some abilities, including his vision that even RJ Harvey lacks at times.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: And it feels like Chad Joliel is this close, this close to this season to breaking off an ADR touchdown run.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe if given the opportunity, he'll do that at Buffalo or against Buffalo, but will he get the opportunity or will Sean Payton go away from the run?
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's always the question.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: Man, if you could put jellials, heart, and I'm not saying this is a slight to RJ that he doesn't have heart, but if you could take jellials, heart and vision and combine it with everything else RJ has, you'd have an unstoppable RB1 for the ages, do.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_00]: on the subject of Von Miller.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I don't know if you missed it, soldier, but he's literally petitioning publicly the Broncos to sign him this year, this next coming season.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's willing to take a backup role, explain it, Zach.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: You wrote it up for myhylittle.com.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm chuckling because he's willing to do anything to come back to Denver, including being a backup and being a mentor to Nick Benito and Jonathan Cooper and everyone else on the linebacker room.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: He went on his podcast the other day and said, I want to be a Denver Bronco next to your point blank period.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_01]: He made a plea a heartfelt plea at that.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's genuine.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: He wishes the Broncos well.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: He realizes he's in the toilet of his career.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need to starting outside linebacker.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: They have two good ones already and also they have two good
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I wonder if they brought Von back in a player role, not just a coaching role, who's going to get cut so he can come back.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: But he does want to and shattered something that he's been saying for at least the last year, I've wrote four stories personally about his want and his need to come back to the mile high city.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see, though, if the interest is mutual, that we will.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think you'd almost have to trade one of those guys to make room for him because
- 37:01[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to sit down, Jonah Ellis.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, as much as we love Von, he's long in the tooth.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think he's even older now than D where was.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now I got to check myself when he came to Denver back in 2014.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: So let's see, Marcus Ware's born in, no, they're the exact same age.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: So where was 32 when he joined the Broncos, gave him three great years, a couple of probals, a world championship.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: Mentored Vaughn helped turn the ship around with the way his career was headed with his run-ins with NFL law, right, he fought the law and the law won.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I wouldn't just dismiss it out of hand as a as a possibility because he genuinely wants to come back and if he's willing to take literally like, you know,
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: uh, relatively close to that minimum, I think it would be a foregone conclusion, but we'll see, we'll see, adventure soldier, thank you real quick, boss man again, jumping in brother.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Jay.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's the playoff, he says, if they can crawl, they'll play exactly.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: And that's, that's really why no one should sleep on the bills and write them off because they're injured like.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_00]: You know what they say Zach about wounded animals and danger and all that stuff.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: So you got to you got to take them just as seriously as if they were 100% healthy.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's the bottom line.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_00]: So thank you for that.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_00]: Jay, all right, guys, let's take a look at the first head to head comparison of the Broncos postseason this time around.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_00]: And if you guys are new to the channel and the show a green statistics signals that it's a top 10 ranking red means bottom 10 and if it's black it's somewhere in the middle Broncos as the one seed come in at 14 and three the bills 12 and five is the six seed and the first thing to look at here is the turnover margin the differential the Broncos.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's a really crazy number for a one seed you would expect that exact to be plus even if it's only by one or two points and yet the Broncos are minus three which ties in for 19 the bills though.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: They're plus one, which ties them for 12th.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_00]: Time of possession.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: These are two top 10 teams, the bills, because they lead the NFL and rushing is we're gonna see here in just a moment, they possess that ball, baby.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_00]: They're first in the NFL and in TOP.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos though, they're seventh.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: And that though, let's also point out Zach.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_00]: This number for the Broncos and this ranking heavily heavily influenced and informed by those last two games where they just basically tried to stay on the field, run the ball, stay on the field.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the KC game had how many eight minute drives and so on.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: It was basically the same model against the chargers.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: So at least that tells us they can do it though, right?
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: So we look at these offenses, starting with the bills, their fourth in yards per game, their fifth in yards per
- 39:59[SPEAKER_00]: points.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're almost to touch down more than the Broncos, which ties them for fourth average in 28.3 per game.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: As I mentioned, this is the NFL's number one rushing offense with James Cook, Zach leading the entire NFL and rushing.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: He got the he's the rushing champ.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Passing, though, they're kind of middle of the pack.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_00]: They only have 10 interceptions, which we've been lamenting and
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: 10 picks, Zach, that's not a lot.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: Nine fumbles last 19 total giveaways.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's middle of the pack.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_00]: 40 sacs though, that's kind of a lot in a vacuum.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: This season, it only ranked him 19th, but look where the money's at.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: The money's right here on third down.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Josh Allen and Zach, the red zone where they ranked fourth and third respectively.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: And then last thing, and I'm gonna serve it back to you, Broncos offense, three spots where they're in the green.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: And this is new because they were up there and third down, they were up there in red zone.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_00]: They're 10th and yards, six Zach in fumbles and tied for first in sacks allowed, as I mentioned, Bony.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_00]: So how do you feel about these two offenses?
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like you said, I was a little surprised when I saw the sack number for Buffalo as well.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: 40 sacks.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about how tough it is with Josh Allen getting him down at the ground and him making plays, but that's still a pretty big amount.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_01]: And if you followed the coordinator and the play calling in Buffalo, Joe Brady,
- 41:26[SPEAKER_01]: As you can see, he's gotten the most out of James Cook.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: They're an excellent rushing offense and with Josh Allen, but they're not that good of a passing offense.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: So if you can just contain the run and in a way, make Josh Allen B2 as a passer, you have a really good chance of pulling off the quote unquote upset.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: But let's boil it down even further, even though he's injured.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: Look at those numbers right there.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: as long as Josh Allen is breathing as long as James Cook is on the field.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: They are going to be a formidable foe for Denver.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we've been saying the entire podcast.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to have to bring it for all four quarters and not take the first three off.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: It is kind of cool.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just say this real quick before we move on to the defense.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: that the Broncos finished barely as low production as this passing offense felt at times this season.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of cool to see that they finished just barely outside the top 10.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_00]: They finished at 11.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: I know where any of you say again.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, Chad, no red anywhere either.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: That's encouraging.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_00]: That's encouraging.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: But these numbers here,
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos on third down 11th and on red zone 13th those have dropped over the last three games because remember they lost week 16 that's where it started to turn and then the two weird games against the chiefs and chargers respectively This is why Sean Peyton who admitted on Friday that the numbers concerned him made these situational football drills and just emphasis such a point this whole week so we move on to defense
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: And the bills in terms of yardage, Zach, they're top 10.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_00]: They only allowed 293.1 yards per game, that's seventh, rushing though.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: They are 28th or 28th, but juxtapose that, Zach, with the number one passing defense in the NFL.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: Weird, right?
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: And then interceptions they have 13, which is only three more than the Broncos who did not have much or many, I should say this year, that ties the bills for 11th most in the NFL, seven fumble recoveries gives them 20 total takeaways.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then sacks they are basically low end of middle of the pack with 36.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: they really struggles to get teams off the field on third down and they're basically middle of the pack, low end of middle of the pack in the red zone.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now we look at the Broncos defense, their second in yards, first in yards per play, third and points are entering 18.3.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: rushing, second, second best rushing defense.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_00]: In the NFL, this is what one of the many angles that makes this game so exciting.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: Going against the number one rushing offense, it's going to be fun.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: Passing though, they can do it.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_00]: Both ways, right?
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: They can skin the cat by stopping the run.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: And when you try to throw it, they rank 7th against the pass.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: But again, the struggle was the lack of interceptions this season.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: They only had 10 combined with their four-fumble recoveries.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: They rank 26th and take away this season came dangerously close to a franchise low, which is so weird, Zack, when you're affecting the quarterback, this much,
- 44:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, 68 sacs easily leads the NFL back to back years doing that in terms of leading the NFL.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_00]: And then here's where you get really excited Zach third down there at the second best defense.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_00]: And in the red zone, there is nobody better your thoughts on these two defenses.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see this is kind of a quick aside that the jets finished the season without one interception.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_01]: They had no picks.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's much as I don't even know how that's possible.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's much as we're ruining the Broncos only having 10 there.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_01]: At least it was 10 more than another NFL team.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy also that they have more red in their rankings for whatever this means than the Broncos offense does.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just wish because the juxtaposition is Chad mentioned there.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: The one thing the brokers can't do on offense is run the ball.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_01]: The one thing that bills defense can do is stop the run.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: And I would assume because of how bad they are in on third down and not great in the red zone that when teams get down there and those situations, they are converting by running the ball.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_01]: So you'd love love to have JK Dobbins back this game, but that's why we've been saying
- 45:44[SPEAKER_01]: Sean, please commit more to RJ, commit more to Jaleel, commit more to even bow lay a bow next using his legs.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: You got to get the running game going against this team.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_00]: All right, guys, there you have it.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: Head to head on the defenses.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Now we look at these special teams and the bill's Zach three of the categories three of the seven.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're in the green.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: So they are good at covering punts.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos, that's their only strong suit in special teams where they're in the top 10 is Marvin Mims, Pump Return average, but it's going into the teeth of their top seven punk coverage.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_00]: But the bills are also top 10, nay top five in their kickoff return.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a great kick returner.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: And then Phil goals, even percentage-wise Zach, even better than Will Lutz.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: And you look over here at the Broncos,
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't understand why.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: As you guys know, I was stoked on Jeremy Krasha.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_00]: I saw him at the senior bowl last year.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: I was really impressed by him.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: I did not lament or sweat the sixth round pick whatsoever, but he's yet to impress me at all since he came to Denver.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: Basically, from the time he was picked, I'm yet to go like, yeah, buddy, that's the one.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's pretty, I mean, look, 19th and net, 14th and gross, and you punt in the thin air of mile high granted Zach, you're a rookie, so you cut him a little slack, but man, he needs to be on point in the playoffs because field position, baby, it's going to matter Broncos though the one red area, they just have not been good.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: returning or a covering kick returns 26 and yet Zach, they have a first team all pro special teamer.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_00]: So Dev and Keys clean up a lot of that stuff, but he needs some help that gummit.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: excellent points there chat, especially about the field position.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be paramount every inch every yard, every point in the playoffs.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_01]: It becomes that much more important.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_01]: I just you covered everything there.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't understand how the giants reportedly wanted to interview Darren Rizzi for a head coaching job.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: What were they looking at the entire season?
- 47:50[SPEAKER_01]: Just Marvin Mims highlights.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: Fortunately, they went with John Harbaugh and Rizzi unfortunately remains the special teams coordinator.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: I am not impressed at all
- 48:00[SPEAKER_00]: No, but since we're on the subject real quick of fill position, look over here at the bills punting.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they suck at gross and the only reason they're not in the red in net punt averages because their coverage units are so good.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: But still Zach, they're middle of the pack.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_00]: So that could play a role.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the kind of minor keys, not minor, but under the radar keys to watch in this game is the field position battle relative to the punting game.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we look at penalties, the Broncos.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, Zach, progress can be made.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_00]: For most of the season, they were dead last in penalties committed.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: Coming out of the buy, though, they started.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_00]: chip in away at those numbers and while they've been far from perfect, they have been greatly improved in terms of the penalties.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: You look at the bills though.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_00]: They've only been penalized 101 times compared to guys, the Broncos at 124.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_00]: So the bills ranked tied for ninth in few
- 49:06[SPEAKER_00]: penalties commended 30 second.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then the Broncos, opponent penalties commended, tied for sixth.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: So you're getting a lot of once again, it's still the themesack.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of flags get thrown in Broncos games.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: And 120 of those penalties are all on Riley Moss.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: It just seems egregious, Chad, and it's crazy.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: 23 penalty separates 19 places in those rankings.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: They have to be more disciplined.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's to me still a coaching thing, an execution thing with the players to be fair as well.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_01]: But they cannot be committing personal fouls.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: They cannot be shooting themselves in the foot.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's all about the fundamentals on Saturday, and that's including a penalties.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's just take a look at some of these stats knowing that we have a whole season worth of sample size.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_00]: So Marvin Mims finishes with 15.6 average on his punt returns and yet for the first time in his three-year career he doesn't earn probal or all pro honors.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: kind of interesting, but whatever, kickoff returns their guy, Ray Davis, man, watch out for him.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_00]: He just fits this new kickoff structure so well.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: He's a weapon, Broncos, Devon Key, go get him, buddy.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_00]: Tackles, they're led by Bishop.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos are led by Singleton.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: They have two
- 50:30[SPEAKER_00]: Bills do not have a player with triple digit tackles this season.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_00]: Sacks, Greg Russo has seven, Bosa has five, Benito of course, 14, Cooper eight, Franklin Myers, seven and a half.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: And then Zach Allen, seven I want to say, he's not listed here, but interceptions, Bishop has three.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_00]: Say that again.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's always been Tillman listed for the Broncos chat and then like six players of one, there's not only a tie there.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, J. Kwon.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: One of J. Kwon's of course, two was a pick six, though, wasn't for lack of trying for Tillman, man, when he did get his mits on a ball, he'd rumble.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: And then, okay, real quick, let's look at receiving as I mentioned, Shakira leads the bills with 719, and then it's all about the two tight ends.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: So Broncos, you know, take care of the tight ends in the past game, stop the run, keep Josh Allen caged.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_00]: You got a good chance of winning this game.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: thousand receiving yards for the third time in his career and back to back seasons to boot Franklin Zach is the number two almost has as many yards as Bill's number one guy he's off by a first down.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: Ingram third on the team for 61 and then rushing man here's the big disparity cook alone 1621 rush yards that's the most in the NFL this season and if you combine Dobbins and Harvey you still don't you still don't even come close 1668 I was doing the calculations it's crazy.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: So, and then you look at the yardage here, Alan, as a passer this season, 3,600.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, next, 39.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, there you have it.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_00]: That's your head to head.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: Comparison between the Broncos and the bills.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Phil's saying he's having sound problems.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_00]: We guys have sound problems.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_00]: said, oh, it's me.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I got you, buddy.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: Boss Man J says not taking anything away from Josh Allen, but he is a product of today's NFL rules.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_00]: You could wrap a quarterback up, drive him to the ground.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: He wouldn't escape as many sacks as he does.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's some truth to that, Jay, but he's also just a big, strong, strong, doing it, man.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and he's so physical and his will is so strong as well that just makes combined with the howitzer, hanging off his right shoulder, man.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's a tough, he's a tough assignment for any defense.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't buy that too much.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_01]: Was Ben Rothersburger a product of the current NFL 15, 20 years ago, no, but they're the same type of quarterback where if you don't get him down, he's going to make you pay and he'll play through injury.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: He's one of the toughest players in the league.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot that I respect about Josh Allen.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then if he was your quarterback, you'd love them.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of those things where in any, since he's not, then you kind of hate him.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: We got the chaos, Josh, bootboy in the house, courtesy of the 60 bus, jumping in to say,
- 53:30[SPEAKER_00]: And this is a salient point, Zach, because it's not just that it's the Broncos, but it's also the bills that he played for, right?
- 53:37[SPEAKER_00]: So he Josh says, personally, I think it'll be by one score wouldn't surprise me if it's a field goal or two scores were capable of anything.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_00]: is why the NFL at large still has a hard time getting a beat on the Broncos and given them the proper respect they deserve as a 14 win one seed is that
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: They they're literally offensively they go like this dude.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's up down up down there's no this there's no this there's no this it's just so they are capable of anything they're capable of what we saw you know against Zach the chiefs in week 17 and they're capable of throwing down 33 points in the quarter like we saw in week seven.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well said, the only thing I'll add is I'm surprised Vaughn didn't pick Denver by like a thousand considering how bad he wants to come back to the team, but it's good that they're getting some love and again, no matter if they win by two scores or one point as long as they get that dub, boot boy, it's all that matters, baby.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_00]: Interesting point from J. Vaughn played 25 to 40% snaps per game this year.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: He still had nine sex.
- 54:58[SPEAKER_00]: a very talented, very talented guy, even at his age.
- 55:01[SPEAKER_00]: Eric Holt in the house, what's up, buddy?
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: Says, hey, fellows, put Bowen to let him cook.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're saying.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: Well, tell him, if Bowen's tempo to let him cook, we need 35 points to beat the bills.
- 55:15[SPEAKER_00]: Just a thought.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_00]: We win the Super Bowl and Sean Peyton Retires.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: Do you make a call to Tomlin?
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: Well, man, there's so many dominoes that would need to fall, but if it did come to that point, Sean Payton's not retiring, he's not.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_00]: But if he did Zach, Tomlin reportedly is planning on taking at least this coming season off of coaching.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's the same exact scenario as Sean Peyton.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's getting into broadcasting or whatever or the broadcast booth.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: What Pittsburgh also owns his right still.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_01]: So similar to what the Brock was did for Sean Peyton, they had to give up draft capital and trade for him.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it seemed what have to do for Mike Talman.
- 55:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think after Peyton, the Brock was going to do that again.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's good to see you Eric Big Dog.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, I don't think you need 35.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_00]: As we just went through the bills as an offense,
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: their average in 28 points per game.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but they're going against the number three scoring defense that only allows 18 per game.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_00]: So unstoppable force versus a moveable object, which one gives?
- 56:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm putting my money on the Broncos so to speak.
- 56:27[SPEAKER_00]: But great to see you, Eric.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_00]: Nahaj in the hissy legend.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_00]: Mount Rushmore superstar checking in.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_00]: Great to see you, buddy.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_00]: He says, hey, brothers.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_00]: biggest week for us in years, very exciting and so stressful.
- 56:43[SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, he says the game will be decided in the trenches.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_00]: Our D-line will need a superior performance versus their line and our
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: that time of possession thing is we just went through in the head to head, it's crucial because the bills are as good as it gets in time of possession.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: They stay on the field for more than half the game, 33 minutes, nine seconds.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: If you can up in that as the NFL's, what did I say, seventh best time of possession team?
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you keep Josh Allen on the sideline, James Cook, it's a recipe.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: Easier said than done, how do you get there as nauseous saying I agree?
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: You couldn't thank you, Nas, first of all, for the super, but the keys to victory for this game if we were doing them chat, and it boils down into run the ball and stop the run.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_01]: If you can do those things, you're gonna waltz out of empower field and mile high going to the AFC Championship game.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: If you can't do that, your season might end prematurely.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: So you're right about that, the upfront, the trenches and also the TOP, those are all paramount on Saturday.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: No doubt.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not seeing any other comments fill about sound problems, buddy.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it might be on your end, my brother.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let me double check some stuff here where we at time wise.

- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just looking here and see anything you guys let us know did we miss any topics tonight because this is our last opportunity to chat before the game game kicks Saturday to 30 mountain time and it's being called by CBS number one crew Jim Nail Tony Romo Zach doesn't like him.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_01]: uh... as you can tell what what don't you like about him's at because i have to hear about Patrick mohomes in a non-patrick mohomes game he's i've been playing and he's still talking about them and then this week we'll hear all about josh out and how great he is but i think the brocos are undefeated this season when Tony rummo is on the call so i'll i'll my ears will we'll hurt shabby i'll post through
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: So, pro-16 says, the only thing I'm kind of scared of is the refs.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: I just hope it's not rigged for Buffalo.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_00]: So, interesting on that topic, we did a story on an Eric trickle, which by the way, guys, it's Eric's birthday.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_00]: So if you run into him or you're connected with him on social media, make sure you send him a happy birthday.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_00]: But he covered this when we found out which officiating crew, the Broncos were getting
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be Carl Chaffers and his crew and let me see if I can skim this real quick.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_00]: is a good as a bad, let's see.
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_00]: In the Sean, I'm quoting Eric here.
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_00]: In the Sean Peyton era, Chaffers has been the Rath for four games and which the Broncos went three and one.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_00]: What they're win over the Dallas Cowboys this season being their most recent.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_00]: In that game, the Broncos were called for seven penalties for 42 yards, including two defensive pass interference calls on Riley Moss.
- 1:01:06[SPEAKER_00]: There were 12 penalties on the Broncos in that game that were called, five of them were declined.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: The Cowboys were also called for 12 penalties, nine of which were accepted, 80 yards.
- 1:01:18[SPEAKER_00]: So it kind of looks like good news for the Broncos.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_00]: However, Chafers in his crew called 14 to 15 penalties per game on average, which is two to three penalties more than the league average.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_00]: This comes as the Broncos are the six most penalized team.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_00]: What do we find out actually?
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_00]: They are the, this is updated now.
- 1:01:37[SPEAKER_00]: So they are the 32, 31, 30, 29, 20.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_00]: They're the fifth most penalized team.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_00]: All right, real quick.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to wrap this up in the NFL bills, et cetera.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_00]: So look, they like to throw the flags.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't love it.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_00]: The implications of such a flag happy ref cruise act.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_00]: But the Broncos are three and one with Chaffers crew in the Sean Payton era.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_00]: Keep that in mind.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_01]: I do think though that the bills in their last nine games are seven and two which shepherds as the official or they're something along those lines as well.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I understand as well, shepherds is among the league leaders in calling past interference, including offensive pastoral interference penalties.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_01]: So he's another flag-happy ref.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_01]: At least it's not Brad Allen, Chad, who Drake Greenlaw got up close and personal with.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_01]: But it's going to be a situation where they can't let the refs dictate the game that much.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: They can't put themselves in a position where the officials are going to influence a win or a loss.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: Beat Buffalo to the point where the referees do not even matter.
- 1:02:44[SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, totally echo that 100%.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right, guys, let me just see anything else here.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think we covered all the bases of Boopoy.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_00]: Winter loss, boys.
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's been one hell of a season.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_00]: Let's bow.
- 1:02:59[SPEAKER_00]: It really has, man.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_00]: We have it good again in Broncos country.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_00]: And it feels good, boys and girls, because we wandered that desert for
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_00]: eight long years, eight long years, man, unprecedented in the Broncos Super Bowl era.
- 1:03:15[SPEAKER_00]: But good things comes back to those who wait, the Broncos are officially back, retaken the one seed winning 14 games tying single season franchise record.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's been one heck of a season so many memories from this year, man.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_00]: Awesome, six all pros, six pro bowlers.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's not over yet.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think the best is still yet to come dot dot dot.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_00]: Shannon with the super chat at the 11 hour.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much, Shannon.
- 1:03:49[SPEAKER_00]: Her second top rope super of the night.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_00]: She says, I have my vacation next week.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that I will be celebrating the Broncos advancing to the AFC championship.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_00]: Go Broncos beat the bills.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_00]: What better notes, Zach, to close on than that?
- 1:04:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm right there with you, Shannon, I feel good about the Broncos winning this game.
- 1:04:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they're taking it lightly.
- 1:04:14[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're gonna see rust.
- 1:04:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're gonna see a Broncos team that was learned the lessons that it needed to learn Zach last year in the way the playoffs ended for them.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_00]: And how fitting that the team that sent them home is who they draw this time around with the chance to balance the stakes, even the score, I guess I should say.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm right there with you, Shannon.
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_00]: Both Zach and I picked the Broncos, we both leave.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: Go get it done.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see the first AFC championship in 10 years.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Shannon, I believe you're right.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_01]: And we're going to all be counting down to the AFC title game.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_01]: They're opponent to be determined, but I would feel good.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_01]: No matter if it's Houston or New England in that game.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_01]: And as I wrote in my little blur for the roundtable, it just seems like the Broncos are a team of Destiny Chad and hard-kitting back and all the parallels to 2015.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_01]: It seems like they're just destined for bigger and better.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_01]: But Shannon, thank you so much and enjoy your vacation.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_00]: Hey guys, thanks for letting us know we we don't have Scott tonight.
- 1:05:16[SPEAKER_00]: So, appreciate.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_00]: Phil reminding us Greg helping remind that Phil left some stars.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_00]: He says, I think this is it.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_00]: But he says, I think Pat Bryant and Zach Allen could be ex factors.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_00]: Zach, how are you feeling about that?
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't know about Zach Allen considering he's an all pro and one of the best players on the team, but Pat Brian absolutely.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_01]: I've been saying it as long as he's been willing and able, he should be getting more targets in the offense and earlier in the season fill.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_01]: I said he should be getting those targets at the expense of Troy Franklin, but we know that Sean Peyton loves Troy Franklin too much.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_01]: Regardless, just as a chain mover or someone on third out of the red zone, throw the ball up to Pat Brian because more often than not, he's going to make the catch.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_00]: Well said, thank you Phil, buddy.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry for making you wait guys.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_00]: Before we get out of here, a mile high salute, a special shout out to all the great super chat super stars, supporters and dear members, helping us keep the lights on tonight.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like Taylor Christensen, Papa Bear, Mount Rushmore, the rock, Mount Rushmore, and Blacks, a legend, Shannon Mills, Mount Rushmore, Seth and OG, Tucson, Phil, legend, boss man J,
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see Brad Murdock, Solja.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, buddy.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_00]: The chaos, Josh Bootboy, Eric Holt.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_00]: Nage, Mount Rushmore, Cody Dubb, I missed this one, get who Fonga, who is Mount Rushmore.
- 1:06:46[SPEAKER_00]: How dare I?
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_00]: Get who Fonga on the jugs machine.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_00]: He could have at least a good four or five interceptions.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_00]: Man, he should have 10.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_00]: 10 interceptions hit him in the hands this year's Zach and it would have been hard to beat out Miles Garrett for deploy this year, anybody, but what he given him a fighting chance.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_00]: He was that good this year.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe some scene though like you have Huff on the jug machine.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_01]: You have Riley Moss and Boxing Gloves Chad.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_01]: There's some rag tag unit that secondary, but we all love him and he's a tremendous tremendous player.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_01]: I love who Funga.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you Cody big dog.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you pal.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_00]: And so hey, the predictions are in.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_00]: We've covered every nook and cranny at this matchup.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_00]: Zack and I will see you at halftime for Broncos bills and then of course got reaction at the final gun.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_00]: Go Broncos.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_01]: Have a great rest of your week.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_01]: We will see a Saturday take care and as away.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_01]: Go Broncos.
