Sixty-one cats rescued from a sailboat near Tacoma are finding new homes thanks to the Humane Society, with the first adopter picking up Harbor just days after the dramatic rescue. The operation, which took six days to complete, was delayed by an ongoing criminal investigation involving the boat’s owner. Now, 86 cats — 38 from the sailboat — are available for adoption, each tagged with “Sailor Cat” in their profiles.
