North Carolina field hockey is the preseason favorite in the ACC for the 13th time in 14 years, aiming for their 10th straight conference title and 29th overall. Led by All-American Charly Bruder—the only UNC player on the Preseason All-ACC team—UNC earned top honors with four first-place votes. Bruder, already with 60 career goals, headlines a squad poised to dominate. The season opens August 28 against Michigan in Winston-Salem as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
