Coastal Flooding Warning, Escondido DHS Contract, Padres Playoffs
San Diego city crews are standing by for coastal flooding, and lifeguards are on alert because of a beach hazards statement in effect through late tonight. In a few days, the city of Escondido could decide to renew it's contract with the Department of Homeland Security to allow ICE agents to use a city police shooting range for training. The Padres have officially secured the top wild card spot, setting up a best-of-three NL Wild Card Series against the Chicago Cubs.
