Speaker 1: They're not great. Questions to them, must say you know this,
• 0:07
Speaker 1: but we'll see you later.
• 0:08
  Speaker 2: Thank you.
• 0:11
Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
• 0:14
Speaker 4: Good Monday morning. Nice to have you with us on
• 0:16
Speaker 4: the forty seven Morning Update, And we've got one big
• 0:19
Speaker 4: story for you. The US military is sitting an aircraft
• 0:22
Speaker 4: carrier fighter group to the waters off of South America,
• 0:26
Speaker 4: the Pentagon announcing this and making it very clear Donald
• 0:30
Speaker 4: Trump and his administration is more than happy to unleash
• 0:33
Speaker 4: more strikes against terrorist organizations. But first, did you see
• 0:38
Speaker 4: that gold just hit an all time new high of
• 0:41
Speaker 4: over four thousand dollars an ounce? And if you hear
• 0:45
Speaker 4: that and you're like, are you kidding me? And you're thinking, gosh,
• 0:48
Speaker 4: I missed my opportunity. Well, I don't know if you
• 0:51
Speaker 4: missed your opportunity, but my friends at Kurt Elliott Precious
• 0:54
Speaker 4: Metals they can answer that question for you. You also
• 0:57
Speaker 4: may not be paying attention to the predible gains with
• 1:01
Speaker 4: silver that are happening right now as well. And that's
• 1:04
Speaker 4: why I trust the guidance of the team at Kirk Elliott.
• 1:07
Speaker 4: In fact, I literally just got a hundred ounce bar
• 1:11
Speaker 4: of silver the other day. And the reason why is
• 1:14
Speaker 4: because after I talk to the team at kirk Elliott
• 1:17
Speaker 4: Precious Metals, they let me understand exactly where I could
• 1:21
Speaker 4: have a big upside in investing in silver. Now, the
• 1:24
Speaker 4: other part that I love about them is this they
• 1:26
Speaker 4: have transparent pricing. There are a lot of gold companies
• 1:30
Speaker 4: that you'll hear about if you listen to talk radio
• 1:33
Speaker 4: or podcasts or watch TV, but do they tell you
• 1:36
Speaker 4: how the pricing actually works well. At kirk Elliott, they're
• 1:40
Speaker 4: real simple, just eight percent when you buy and zero
• 1:45
Speaker 4: commissions when you sell, with no hidden fees. Ever, that
• 1:49
Speaker 4: is the other reason why I recommend them to all
• 1:52
Speaker 4: of you. They also don't sell you quote rare coins
• 1:55
Speaker 4: or precious coins that you pay insane markups on and
• 1:59
Speaker 4: then when you go to sell them you find out
• 2:01
Speaker 4: they're really not worth that much. They are a bollyon
• 2:04
Speaker 4: only approach. They focus on investment grade medals, no overpriced collectibles,
• 2:10
Speaker 4: no gimmicks that means you get more gold or silver
• 2:14
Speaker 4: for your money at fair value when it's time for
• 2:17
Speaker 4: you to sell. So, if you're ready to find out
• 2:21
Speaker 4: if gold and silver is right for you in your portfolio,
• 2:24
Speaker 4: then call them and get a plan. You can visit
• 2:27
Speaker 4: them at k e PM dot com slash ben. That's
• 2:33
Speaker 4: k e PM dot com slash ben or seven two
• 2:38
Speaker 4: zero six oh five thirty nine hundred at seven two
• 2:42
Speaker 4: zero six oh five thirty nine hundred Kirk Elliott Precious

• 2:52
Speaker 4: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
• 2:55
  Speaker 3: Story number one.
• 2:57
Speaker 4: The US is now sending an aircraft carrier to South
• 3:01
Speaker 4: America as the Narco strikes are intensifying. This as Democrats
• 3:07
Speaker 4: are claiming that, well, we don't really know if the
• 3:10
Speaker 4: people on these boats are actually Narco terrorists. Congressman McCormick,
• 3:15
Speaker 4: who is a veteran that served as country, set the
• 3:17
Speaker 4: record straight on that on Newsmax with credevn Sustra. Listen
• 3:21
Speaker 4: to what he said about these strikes, including the submarine
• 3:25
Speaker 4: that was blown up earlier this week.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: A lot of this is due with our intelligence gathering capabilities. Obviously,
• 3:30
Speaker 1: we don't take out people just based on a hunch.
• 3:33
Speaker 1: They get confirmation from real intel on what these boats
• 3:37
Speaker 1: have on board, like he knew with the submarine, for example,
• 3:40
Speaker 1: had mostly fentanyl. Bad guys. We knew what gangs they
• 3:44
Speaker 1: belonged to, and we take out the bad guys. It'd
• 3:47
Speaker 1: be very careful in selection. When we used to be
• 3:48
Speaker 1: on floats and we'd have an idea what we're going
• 3:51
Speaker 1: to take out take down a ship like that, we
• 3:53
Speaker 1: couldn't even talk about we had real live intelligence. If
• 3:57
Speaker 1: we had any doubt at all, it'd be called off.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: So these are confirm targets. These aren't just we hope
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: they're bad guys.
• 4:02
Speaker 2: Why don't we there's no effort to contact them and
• 4:06
Speaker 2: board them. I mean the old days you could contact
• 4:08
Speaker 2: if they have a flag from Venezuela called Venezuela and
• 4:10
Speaker 2: say can I board it? Or from Panama or you
• 4:12
Speaker 2: can ask to aboard it. But are we boarding? Are
• 4:14
Speaker 2: we attempting to board anyth these? Or we just make
• 4:15
Speaker 2: the determination these are bad and boom the.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: Guns and we've done it in the past. Two things
• 4:19
Speaker 1: can happen. First of all, they can run and they
• 4:21
Speaker 1: can get away and go back and they going back
• 4:22
Speaker 1: into the international while they're home free. Or they can
• 4:25
Speaker 1: shoot back and kill our marines and our sailors or
• 4:29
Speaker 1: seals or whomever is trying to board that ship. Now
• 4:31
Speaker 1: you have a very dangerous situation. The question is are
• 4:33
Speaker 1: you willing to risk lives to take somebody who you
• 4:37
Speaker 1: know is smuggling jail? Now you're got to put them
• 4:39
Speaker 1: in jail, in our jail system and eventually get them
• 4:41
Speaker 1: back there. The expense and the danger to our troops
• 4:44
Speaker 1: versus just taking out bad guys who are literally coming
• 4:46
Speaker 1: here that have caused hundreds of thousands of deaths, more
• 4:50
Speaker 1: than all the wars we've ever fought together. When you
• 4:53
Speaker 1: start combining all the deaths that have happened from fentanyl
• 4:55
Speaker 1: and overdose and drugs in the gang wars and the
• 4:59
Speaker 1: inner cities, you look at the immortality morbidity of a
• 5:01
Speaker 1: male black man in America, And I got this from
• 5:04
Speaker 1: doctor Sache when I was a student at Morehouse. It
• 5:06
Speaker 1: declined dramatically with the cocaine wars. With crack cocaine is
• 5:10
Speaker 1: only escalated with this sort of warfare that they're basically
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: having on us.
• 5:14
Speaker 4: You listen to Congress from McCormick there, he's absolutely right,
• 5:17
Speaker 4: and he's saying, why would we risk our lives knowing
• 5:20
Speaker 4: that these are bad guys that need to be taken out,
• 5:23
Speaker 4: Which brings us to the new point. The US military
• 5:25
Speaker 4: sending this aircraft carrier to the waters off South America.
• 5:29
Speaker 4: The Pentagon announcing this on Friday, in the latest escalation
• 5:33
Speaker 4: of military firepower in a region where the Trump administration
• 5:37
Speaker 4: has unleashed more rapid strikes in recent days against boats
• 5:41
Speaker 4: it accused of carrying drugs just like fetnyl. The Secretary
• 5:46
Speaker 4: of War Pete Edseth ordered the USS Gerald R Ford
• 5:50
Speaker 4: and its Strike Group to deploy to the US Southern
• 5:53
Speaker 4: Command region to quote bolster US capacity to detect, monitor,
• 5:58
Speaker 4: and disrupt illicit act and activities that compromise a safety
• 6:03
Speaker 4: and prosperity of the United States That coming from the
• 6:06
Speaker 4: Pentagon spokesman Sean Pernell. The USS Ford, which has five
• 6:11
Speaker 4: destroyers in its strike group, is now deployed to the
• 6:14
Speaker 4: Mediterranean Sea. One of its destroyers is in the Arabian
• 6:18
Speaker 4: Sea and another in the Red Sea. A person familiar
• 6:21
Speaker 4: with the operation told the Associated Press as a Friday,
• 6:25
Speaker 4: the aircraft carrier was in port in Croatia on the
• 6:28
Speaker 4: Arctic Sea. The person, who spoke on condition of amininity
• 6:32
Speaker 4: to discussions of military operations, would not say how long
• 6:36
Speaker 4: it would take for the strike group to arrive in
• 6:38
Speaker 4: the waters off South America, or if all five destroyers
• 6:42
Speaker 4: would make that journey while deploying an aircraft carrier would
• 6:45
Speaker 4: surge major additional resources to a region that has already
• 6:49
Speaker 4: seen an unusually large US military build up in the
• 6:52
Speaker 4: Caribbean Sea and the waters off Venezuela. The latest deployment
• 6:56
Speaker 4: and the quickening pace of the US strikes, including one
• 7:00
Speaker 4: on Friday, raise new speculations about how far the Trump
• 7:03
Speaker 4: administration may go in operations it says are targeting drug trafficking,
• 7:10
Speaker 4: including whether it could try to topple the Venezuelan president Maduro,
• 7:15
Speaker 4: who already has a massive bounty on his head now
• 7:18
Speaker 4: he faces charges of narco terrorism in the United States
• 7:22
Speaker 4: of America. There are already more, by the way than
• 7:25
Speaker 4: six thousand US sailors and marines on eight warships in
• 7:30
Speaker 4: the region. If the entire USS Ford Strike Group arrives,
• 7:34
Speaker 4: that could bring nearly four thousand, five hundred more sailors,
• 7:38
Speaker 4: as well as the nine squadrons of aircraft assigned to
• 7:42
Speaker 4: the carrier. Complicated the situation is also tropical store Melissa,
• 7:47
Speaker 4: which has been nearly stationary in the Central Caribbean, with
• 7:51
Speaker 4: forecasters warning it could soon strengthen into a powerful hurricane.
• 7:56
  Speaker 3: Now.
• 7:56
Speaker 4: Hours before Parnell announced the news, the Secretary of War
• 8:00
Speaker 4: Headsets said the military had conducted the ten strike on
• 8:04
Speaker 4: a suspected drug running boat, leaving six people dead and
• 8:08
Speaker 4: bring the death count for the attacks that began in
• 8:10
Speaker 4: early September to at least forty three narco terraces. Head
• 8:17
Speaker 4: Sets set on social media that the vessel struck overnight
• 8:20
Speaker 4: was operating by the trend de Iragua gang. It was
• 8:25
Speaker 4: the second time the Trump administration has tied one of
• 8:29
Speaker 4: its operations to the gang that originated in a venezuela
• 8:32
Speaker 4: in prison. The strikes have ramped up from one every
• 8:36
Speaker 4: few weeks when they first began last month to three
• 8:40
Speaker 4: this week alone, killing a total of at least forty
• 8:43
Speaker 4: three terrasts Now. Two of the most recent strikes were
• 8:46
Speaker 4: carried out in the Eastern specific Ocean, expanding the area
• 8:51
Speaker 4: where the military has launched attacks and shifting to where
• 8:56
Speaker 4: much of the cocaine from the world's largest producers is smug. Quote.
• 9:01
Speaker 4: If you're a narco terrorist smuggling drugs in our hemisphere,
• 9:05
Speaker 4: we will treat you like al Qaeda. Heads has said
• 9:09
Speaker 4: in a post Day or night. We will map your networks,
• 9:13
Speaker 4: track your people, hunt you down, and kill you. The
• 9:17
Speaker 4: strike drew parallels to the first announced by the US
• 9:21
Speaker 4: last month by focusing on the trendy Ragua, which the
• 9:25
Speaker 4: Trump administration has designated as a foreign terrorist organization and
• 9:29
Speaker 4: blame for being the root of the violence and drug
• 9:32
Speaker 4: dealing that plagues some of the cities. While not mentioning
• 9:36
Speaker 4: the origin of the latest boat, the Republican administration now
• 9:40
Speaker 4: says at least four of the boats it has hit
• 9:44
Speaker 4: have come from Venezuela. On Thursday, the US military flow
• 9:49
Speaker 4: a pair of supersonic heavy bombers up the coast of
• 9:53
Speaker 4: Venezuela in a show of strength. Merduro argues that the
• 9:57
Speaker 4: US operations are the latest efforts to force him from office.
• 10:01
Speaker 4: Maduro on Thursday praise security forces and a civilian militia
• 10:07
Speaker 4: for defense exercises along some one thousand, two hundred miles
• 10:12
Speaker 4: of coastline to prepare for the possibility, he says, of
• 10:15
Speaker 4: a US attack, saying in the span of six hours,
• 10:19
Speaker 4: one hundred percent of all the country's coastline was covered
• 10:22
Speaker 4: in real time, with all the equipment and heavy weapons
• 10:26
Speaker 4: to defend all of Venezuela as coast if necessary, Morduro
• 10:30
Speaker 4: said during a government event shown on state television. The
• 10:34
Speaker 4: US military presence is less about drugs than sending a
• 10:38
Speaker 4: message to countries in the region aligned with the US interest.
• 10:42
Speaker 4: According to the International Crisis Group, Senior analysts for the
• 10:45
Speaker 4: ANDRES Regent Elizabeth Dickinson, an expression that I'm hearing a
• 10:50
Speaker 4: lot of drugs are the excuse, and everyone knows that,
• 10:53
Speaker 4: Dickinson said, And I think that message is very clear
• 10:57
Speaker 4: in regional capitals. So the messaging here is that the
• 11:00
Speaker 4: US is intent on pursuing specific objectives and it will
• 11:04
Speaker 4: use military force against leaders and countries that don't fall
• 11:08
Speaker 4: in line. That is what the left is obviously trying
• 11:11
Speaker 4: to get you to believe. But Headset's remarks around the
• 11:14
Speaker 4: strikes have recently begun to draw a more direct comparison
• 11:18
Speaker 4: between the war on terrorism that the US declared after
• 11:22
Speaker 4: nine to eleven and the attacks and Donald Trump's administration's
• 11:27
Speaker 4: cracked down now on the drug traffickers whose drugs are
• 11:31
Speaker 4: killing countless Americans. President Trump this month declared drug cartels
• 11:36
Speaker 4: to be unlawful combatants and said the US was in
• 11:39
Speaker 4: an armed conflict with them. Relying on the same legal
• 11:43
Speaker 4: authority used by the Bush administration after nine.
• 11:47
