- 0:05Speaker 1: Launch Control, this is Houston.
- 0:07Speaker 2: We are going to launch.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Five, four, three, two, one. It's Chris X.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Radio.
- 0:17Speaker 5: Chris X Radio.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 0:21Speaker 4: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 0:24Speaker 4: the people of this country. This message must.
- 0:26Speaker 6: Be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen
- 0:29Speaker 6: on every television.
- 0:30Speaker 7: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 0:34Speaker 3: And now, your host.
- 0:35Speaker 8: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Chris X.
- 1:00Speaker 5: Oh man, it's a busy news day. I just heard
- 1:04Speaker 5: Dana say a little while ago it was a slow
- 1:05Speaker 5: news day. I don't know what news she's looking at.
- 1:09Speaker 5: It's a busy news day for me. I guess then again,
- 1:12Speaker 5: we're in the great state of Texas and there's just
- 1:15Speaker 5: never any shortage of things to talk about. Good afternoon.
- 1:18Speaker 5: Welcome to Chris X Radio. It is hump day here
- 1:22Speaker 5: on the program. Of course, I'm glad to have you
- 1:25Speaker 5: here as we bring you that gift beyond price that
- 1:28Speaker 5: is almost free, ladies and gentlemen. We bring you the
- 1:31Speaker 5: spirit of talk radio. As we've assumed control of the broadcast,
- 1:35Speaker 5: we will maintain control of this broadcast here for the
- 1:38Speaker 5: next two hours, God willing. If everything goes according to plan,
- 1:41Speaker 5: you never know. I mean, the station could take back
- 1:45Speaker 5: control at any minute. But we're going to do our
- 1:48Speaker 5: best to maintain control here for a couple hours. Got
- 1:50Speaker 5: a lot going on. We had a lot of primaries
- 1:52Speaker 5: last night. We'll talk about that. In fact, coming up
- 1:54Speaker 5: here at the bottom of the hour, we'll talk with
- 1:57Speaker 5: Curtis Hoke. He's the managing editor of Newsbusters. We'll do
- 2:01Speaker 5: the primary coverage. For those of you who are familiar
- 2:03Speaker 5: with the Media Research Center or Newsbusters, they sort of
- 2:08Speaker 5: bust the news, basically the fake news, if you will.
- 2:13Speaker 5: show their bias, and we'll discuss the primary coverage of Michigan, Florida, Alaska, Wisconsin,
- 2:20Speaker 5: maybe throw in Wyoming. There were a lot of races
- 2:24Speaker 5: last night. So we'll catch up with Curtis Hope, the
- 2:27Speaker 5: managing editor of Newsbusters. I'm a big fan of Newsbusters.
- 2:31Speaker 5: I've played many of their clips on my program over
- 2:34Speaker 5: the years. Which, by the way, speaking of the years,
- 2:38Speaker 5: you know, Chris Salcedo was He's leaving the station at
- 2:41Speaker 5: the end of the week. He's moving on to, I guess,
- 2:44Speaker 5: more digital pastors. I don't know. From what I heard,
- 2:49Speaker 5: he's going to be doing a show basically 6 to
- 2:52Speaker 5: 9 a.m. Eastern, which is 5 to 8 a.m. our time.
- 2:57Speaker 5: But that's a three-hour show, so he's going to have
- 2:59Speaker 5: to get up even earlier. Oh, my Lord. I don't
- 3:03Speaker 5: envy that. But he's one of the hardest working men
- 3:07Speaker 5: in show business. He's a great guy. He's a good professional.
- 3:10Speaker 5: And we'll miss him. He had mentioned something about calling in.
- 3:12Speaker 5: I'm going to try to call in before he's done
- 3:14Speaker 5: to his program here later this week. But after he's gone,
- 3:17Speaker 5: now I am the eldest senior statesman on the air
- 3:21Speaker 5: on the station. I'm the longest tenured host. I've been
- 3:24Speaker 5: coming up on eight years, I guess. So I was like, oh,
- 3:27Speaker 5: my Lord. It's hard to believe. But this is where
- 3:32Speaker 5: we are. I guess in radio, once again, most stations
- 3:37Speaker 5: are not independently owned and operated like KSEV. Most stations
- 3:41Speaker 5: don't keep their talent. They're always shuffling people. And then
- 3:46Speaker 5: people come and go and come and go. Sometimes they
- 3:48Speaker 5: come back. I mean, it's a crazy business. So I'm
- 3:51Speaker 5: thankful to have been here for as long as I have.
- 3:54Speaker 5: And then now I'm going to be the old guy.
- 3:56Speaker 5: I'm the old guy.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Hey, you kids, get off my lawn.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll be running kids off the lawn here every
- 4:06Speaker 5: week or so on the program. But we wish Chris
- 4:10Speaker 5: the best. I mean, like I said, he's been, once again,
- 4:14Speaker 5: he's a good talk show host. He's a phenomenal newsman.
- 4:17Speaker 5: He's a great television show host. And I've told him that.
- 4:19Speaker 5: I was like, Chris, you do a fine radio show.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Your television show is better because he did his show
- 4:24Speaker 5: on Newsmax and he did TV. Clearly, he comes from
- 4:27Speaker 5: a TV background. And the guy's good. So I hope
- 4:29Speaker 5: they're utilizing that in his new venture because the guy
- 4:33Speaker 5: is obviously very talented. So, uh, but we'll miss him
- 4:36Speaker 5: here at KCV. So, uh, we shall see how, how
- 4:41Speaker 5: things go. I have no idea what they're doing in
- 4:43Speaker 5: the mornings yet. We may have a brand new show
- 4:46Speaker 5: starting on Monday, which goes to show as soon as
- 4:49Speaker 5: any of us think we're not replaceable, understand you'll probably
- 4:52Speaker 5: be replaced by Monday, your job. If we're all let
- 4:55Speaker 5: go or we all die tomorrow, uh, You know, as
- 4:58Speaker 5: irreplaceable as I like to think I am, I'm just
- 5:01Speaker 5: a big X, and then it's gone. And then I'd
- 5:04Speaker 5: be replaced the next day by most likely somebody younger, stronger,
- 5:09Speaker 5: and the world continues. It keeps going. As we will
- 5:13Speaker 5: continue here on The Voice of Texas. Okay, so a
- 5:16Speaker 5: lot of, I got a ton to get into. Okay,
- 5:18Speaker 5: so I'm going to try to lay some of this
- 5:20Speaker 5: out here in the first segment. Well, really first couple
- 5:22Speaker 5: of segments. And then we'll catch up with our guest.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Once again, Curtis Hoke, the managing editor of Newsbusters here
- 5:29Speaker 5: at the bottom of the hour. So a lot of
- 5:32Speaker 5: races in the primary. Byron Donalds easily won the GOP
- 5:35Speaker 5: gubernatorial primary in Florida last night. Harriet Hagerman, she won
- 5:40Speaker 5: the GOP Senate primary in Wyoming. Now some interesting races
- 5:45Speaker 5: in Florida. Dirtbag Democrat Alex Vindman lost his primary by
- 5:50Speaker 5: double digits last night after outspending his opponent, DSA, Democrat
- 5:56Speaker 5: Socialist of America. Angie Nixon, by 36 times, he spent
- 6:02Speaker 5: tons of money and got crushed. Then again, he's a dirtbag.
- 6:07Speaker 5: He's a criminal. He's a loser. He's a liar. And
- 6:10Speaker 5: even the Democrats don't want him. They're willing to go
- 6:12Speaker 5: with a Democrat socialist. Okay. And now Trump is calling
- 6:17Speaker 5: for his prosecution, which is hilarious. Because he actually should
- 6:21Speaker 5: be prosecuted. He's a fake whistleblower. He made up a
- 6:23Speaker 5: story about how Trump lied and was trying to manipulate...
- 6:27Speaker 5: The Ukrainian president on a phone call, and then, of course,
- 6:29Speaker 5: the transcript of the phone call was released, and there
- 6:32Speaker 5: was nothing like it, so he was a fake whistleblower.
- 6:36Speaker 5: That's right, Alexander Vindman, dirtbag. I think Trump called him
- 6:41Speaker 5: a sleazeball or sleazebag or, I don't know, fleabag. I
- 6:44Speaker 5: call him.
- 6:47Speaker 5: A nut bar. He's also a squirrely looking dude. I
- 6:50Speaker 5: know he served in the military. Listen, I respect his
- 6:53Speaker 5: military service. I respect anyone who steps up to serve
- 6:56Speaker 5: for the military. But it doesn't mean you're immune from criticism,
- 6:59Speaker 5: especially when you run for office, especially as a Democrat
- 7:03Speaker 5: after attacking a sitting Republican president with fake information that
- 7:07Speaker 5: they used to impeach him. And we now know it's garbage.
- 7:11Speaker 5: That impeachment should be expunged from the record. But then again,
- 7:16Speaker 5: these are Democrats, and they'll do it again if they
- 7:18Speaker 5: get control here in the midterms. Corey Mills lost his
- 7:22Speaker 5: GOP primary last night to Ryan Elijah. I guess he's
- 7:26Speaker 5: a television guy in the primary race, so he's a
- 7:31Speaker 5: local television guy, and he beat out Corey Mills, who
- 7:33Speaker 5: has some issues, I guess, maybe some legal battles. So
- 7:38Speaker 5: we'll talk about some of this with, once again, Curtis
- 7:40Speaker 5: Oak at the bottom of the hour. Okay, so as
- 7:42Speaker 5: I mentioned, this is so funny to me. President Trump
- 7:49Speaker 5: calls to prosecute Alexander Vindman after his Senate primary loss
- 7:54Speaker 5: in Florida. Once again, Trump never, to allow things to
- 7:58Speaker 5: lie for a very long time, immediately weighed in. Now,
- 8:02Speaker 5: he lost the fight decisively. He was crushed by Angie Nixon.
- 8:06Speaker 5: She's a Democrat out of Florida. She's one of those
- 8:07Speaker 5: Democrat socialists, total radical, wants to abolish ICE and police
- 8:11Speaker 5: and all that, one of those weirdos. Trump immediately gloated
- 8:15Speaker 5: over the loss, said he ought to face the consequences
- 8:18Speaker 5: for his role in Trump's first impeachment. Quote Trump tweeted out,
- 8:22Speaker 5: the most gratifying loss last night was that of real
- 8:25Speaker 5: treasonous creep Alexander Vindman to a radical left lunatic who
- 8:31Speaker 5: can't speak or think properly and who will go down
- 8:35Speaker 5: to certain defeat at the hands of Ashley Moody, a
- 8:38Speaker 5: truly fantastic senator from the great state of Florida. He
- 8:44Speaker 5: continued on True Social. Vindman was one who lied about
- 8:48Speaker 5: my perfect call with President Zelensky of Ukraine, only to
- 8:51Speaker 5: find out the conversation was routinely recorded and proved that
- 8:55Speaker 5: I was 100% correct, completely innocent. It was indeed a
- 9:01Speaker 5: perfect call. And the Democrats' fake impeachment effort massively failed.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Vindman should be prosecuted for what he did, okay? He
- 9:13Speaker 5: was the original whistleblower in the first impeachment attempt on Trump.
- 9:18Speaker 5: He's a fake whistleblower. He lied. He did what they
- 9:21Speaker 5: did with basically Russia collusion. You make up a story,
- 9:25Speaker 5: you lie, and then you use it to impugn, destroy
- 9:29Speaker 5: your political opposition. The Democrats did it for four years.
- 9:33Speaker 5: We're only two years into this second term and they're
- 9:35Speaker 5: still doing it. And they're not going to stop because
- 9:38Speaker 5: they've made it very clear they don't care about being
- 9:41Speaker 5: right or wrong. What they care about is winning. They
- 9:44Speaker 5: want absolute power. And Vindman is one of those dirtbags,
- 9:47Speaker 5: which is why he ran in the Democrat primary, and
- 9:51Speaker 5: then he just got smoked by a radical leftist, a
- 9:54Speaker 5: Democrat socialist. Now, if you remember Vindman, raised concerns over
- 10:01Speaker 5: Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which he
- 10:05Speaker 5: said Trump appeared to suggest that he would withhold aid
- 10:08Speaker 5: from the country unless Zelensky investigated the Biden family. There's
- 10:13Speaker 5: also something you should remember. Trump was acquitted by the Senate.
- 10:18Speaker 5: So there you go. So that's Trump not allowing the
- 10:24Speaker 5: corpse to even get cold yet before he stomped all
- 10:27Speaker 5: over it like a giant orange gorilla. Hey, Vindman, you suck.
- 10:31Speaker 5: You're a creep. But he's right. Vindman is a creep.
- 10:35Speaker 5: He deserved getting beat by double digits after outspending his
- 10:40Speaker 5: opponent 36 to 1. He spent something, I don't know
- 10:43Speaker 5: how many millions, 16 million? Something for this seat and
- 10:47Speaker 5: got crushed. Which, by the way, it's Florida, so the
- 10:52Speaker 5: crazy Democrat socialist is probably going to lose as well.
- 10:56Speaker 5: The U.S. Senate battle between James Tallarico and Ken Paxton
- 11:00Speaker 5: remains in a statistical dead heat. A new survey from
- 11:03Speaker 5: the Emerson College polling Nextar Media found Paxton leading... 47%
- 11:10Speaker 5: compared to 46% for Tallarico. 5% still undecided, which means
- 11:14Speaker 5: well within the margin of error. And 2% supporting another candidate.
- 11:19Speaker 5: We're still relatively early, even though it's getting late. I
- 11:22Speaker 5: know that sounds like something that doesn't make sense, but
- 11:26Speaker 5: it actually does in politics. Ken Paxton is just now
- 11:31Speaker 5: making the media rounds, finally. Once again, he had a
- 11:35Speaker 5: late battle with... John Cornyn, who's one of his staffers,
- 11:41Speaker 5: has moved over to work on behalf of James Tallarico,
- 11:44Speaker 5: and Cornyn seems to be happy with it because John
- 11:46Speaker 5: Cornyn cares more about John Cornyn than he ever did
- 11:49Speaker 5: about the state of Texas or his constituency or Republicans.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Now you know why he did everything he could to
- 11:56Speaker 5: try to ingratiate himself with the Democrats because, well, he
- 12:00Speaker 5: wasn't that far off. Once again, I'll take his voting
- 12:03Speaker 5: record over any Democrat. Absolutely. But the moment he lost...
- 12:08Speaker 5: Look at how he's doing. Look at how he's operating.
- 12:11Speaker 5: He would rather turn over Texas to a freak like
- 12:14Speaker 5: James Tallarico than to the guy that beat him, smoked
- 12:19Speaker 5: him by 23 points in the primary. The other thing is,
- 12:28Speaker 5: we'll see because now Paxton is raising money. And every
- 12:31Speaker 5: single day, there's a new clip from James Tallarico. talking about,
- 12:37Speaker 5: you know, Christian nationalism and how terrible it is and
- 12:40Speaker 5: how they're trying to take over schools. And he hates
- 12:44Speaker 5: everything that is good about this country. He loves trans children,
- 12:48Speaker 5: even though he claims that he doesn't want trans children anymore.
- 12:51Speaker 5: And he's just, he's nothing but a complete leftist weirdo.
- 12:55Speaker 5: But he's campaigning. Now, all of these clips, by the way,
- 12:58Speaker 5: are all in the past, what he did or what
- 13:00Speaker 5: he was saying when he was serving in the Texas House. So, okay.
- 13:07Speaker 5: Wait a minute, that's where we're at? So, but he's just,
- 13:11Speaker 5: once again, Tallarico's a dirtbag. And the more Ken Paxton
- 13:15Speaker 5: goes and does of these things, the more, like I said,
- 13:19Speaker 5: I think we'll see not only the races tighten up,
- 13:21Speaker 5: but we'll see Paxton, I do believe, will take a lead.
- 13:24Speaker 5: I still haven't heard any definitive information, which I haven't
- 13:27Speaker 5: really looked for it. But last I heard that Paxton
- 13:30Speaker 5: had agreed to one debate with James Tallarico, but somebody
- 13:34Speaker 5: was saying that they weren't going to debate. So I
- 13:35Speaker 5: don't know. Well, I guess we'll get that answer at
- 13:38Speaker 5: some point. Then there's this. An investigation of U.S. Senate
- 13:45Speaker 5: polling shows that 73 percent of surveys overstate the levels
- 13:49Speaker 5: of support for Democrats. Patrick Ruffini. The co-founder of Echelon
- 13:54Speaker 5: Insights published the results of a deep dive into polling
- 13:57Speaker 5: on Tuesday that looked at over 3,000 polls over the
- 14:01Speaker 5: last four election cycles, and every one of them overstated
- 14:05Speaker 5: support for the Democrat candidate. So we'll get into that. There's,
- 14:11Speaker 5: of course, a lot of local news as well. Harris
- 14:14Speaker 5: County Treasurer Carla Wyatt, you remember her. She's the one
- 14:16Speaker 5: that's been popped, was it, two or three times for
- 14:19Speaker 5: drunken driving and then another time for breaking into a
- 14:21Speaker 5: woman's car and trying to steal something. She's the Harris
- 14:24Speaker 5: County Treasurer. She's first term. She is now seeking a
- 14:30Speaker 5: six-figure raise according to a formal salary grievance she filed
- 14:35Speaker 5: with the county. She requested $ 250, 000 or more which would
- 14:41Speaker 5: be a minimum of a 79% increase raise over her
- 14:46Speaker 5: current salary of $ 139, 547.
- 14:55Speaker 10: What?
- 14:57Speaker 5: She got popped for drinking and driving in Galveston County.
- 15:00Speaker 5: She got popped for drinking and driving before, got popped
- 15:02Speaker 5: for breaking into a vehicle. And now she says she
- 15:06Speaker 5: deserves a $ 250, 000 raise. The committee will reconsider her request tomorrow,
- 15:13Speaker 5: I guess Thursday. Why not? Geez, Harris County judge and
- 15:16Speaker 5: the commissioners on commissioner's court, they want to jack your
- 15:19Speaker 5: taxes to the highest amount possible. I guess we need
- 15:22Speaker 5: that additional revenue to offset paying these criminals. If that
- 15:29Speaker 5: doesn't make your blood boil, it should. Treasury Secretary Scott
- 15:33Speaker 5: Besant is ending tax breaks for illegals. So that's good.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Once again, you see which direction the Democrats are going
- 15:41Speaker 5: in and you see which directions the Republicans are going in.
- 15:43Speaker 5: How the hell is James Tallarico even in the race?
- 15:46Speaker 5: Because he's taken those millions and millions and millions of
- 15:50Speaker 5: dollars that have funneled into our state and he's running
- 15:53Speaker 5: a campaign against himself, against everything that he has stood
- 15:57Speaker 5: for and everything that he believes. Oh, and also, we'll
- 16:01Speaker 5: probably won't get to this until maybe the second hour,
- 16:03Speaker 5: but we can talk about the only televised debate for
- 16:05Speaker 5: South Carolina's Republican U.S. Senate seat in the runoff between
- 16:09Speaker 5: Darlene Graham, Nordone, the current senator. She's a sister of
- 16:14Speaker 5: Lindsey Graham who passed away that said she's not informed
- 16:18Speaker 5: on national security when asked a question about Taiwan and
- 16:21Speaker 5: the South China Sea. I've got the audio. I can
- 16:23Speaker 5: play the clip from that. It was a real bad
- 16:25Speaker 5: look for her. And needless to say, her candidate or
- 16:29Speaker 5: the other Republican running for this is the primary. Representative
- 16:32Speaker 5: Ralph Norman had a much more logical response, even though
- 16:37Speaker 5: I wouldn't say it was perfect. And we don't get
- 16:38Speaker 5: to vote in either. But it shows that maybe Darlene
- 16:41Speaker 5: Graham is, you know, the sister of Lindsey may not be. Well,
- 16:44Speaker 5: clearly she's not ready. She isn't clearly as versed on
- 16:47Speaker 5: foreign policy as her brother was. So and I. Once again,
- 16:53Speaker 5: I don't want us to start holding our. candidates to
- 16:56Speaker 5: the standards that the Democrats hold theirs to, because that
- 16:59Speaker 5: is simply a race to the bottom. All right, let's
- 17:02Speaker 5: take a short break.
- 17:02Speaker 11: The revolution continues after this. Chris X Radio.
- 17:10Speaker 5: The revolution is continuing, folks, in case you didn't know.
- 17:16Speaker 5: We'll get into this. We've got one more segment, and
- 17:18Speaker 5: then we'll catch up with Curtis Hoke, the managing editor
- 17:21Speaker 5: of Newsbusters. We'll get to that, and then, of course,
- 17:26Speaker 5: we'll open up your phone calls here a little later
- 17:28Speaker 5: in the program. Don't you go anywhere. You're listening to

- 19:56Speaker 13: Donald Trump is a wartime president. COVID-19 was not the
- 20:00Speaker 13: bioweapon the jab was. A surgical mask will not prevent
- 20:03Speaker 13: you from getting a virus. The 2020 election was rigged.
- 20:06Speaker 13: If you're watching mainstream media, you're being lied to. The
- 20:09Speaker 13: elites of this world have been running the largest human

- 20:49Speaker 3: Fake news hates us. Fake news hates us. Chris X Radio.
- 20:54Speaker 5: Chris X Radio. You know, the FBI just arrested what
- 21:07Speaker 5: is netted 4,000 arrests in the Houston. Investigators seized $ 120
- 21:12Speaker 5: million in cocaine. Things the mainstream media won't really cover.
- 21:17Speaker 5: I'm not covering that. You know, Lena Hidalgo and Harris
- 21:21Speaker 5: County commissioners just spending money like crazy. Can we just
- 21:23Speaker 5: take that money and start giving it to a commissioner's court?
- 21:27Speaker 5: Maybe to.
- 21:30Speaker 5: Pay back the deficit instead of a property tax hike,
- 21:33Speaker 5: because that's all they want to do is hike up
- 21:36Speaker 5: our property taxes. Anyway, welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 21:39Speaker 5: I'm the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with
- 21:41Speaker 5: us on our home day edition of the program. We've
- 21:43Speaker 5: got a lot going on. We've got a lot of
- 21:46Speaker 5: primary results from last night, from Michigan, Florida, Arkansas, Wisconsin.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Byron Donalds easily won the gubernatorial primary in Florida, so
- 21:57Speaker 5: he'll square off against the Democrats. and will most likely
- 22:01Speaker 5: win handily. They'll be replacing the very popular Ron DeSantis,
- 22:07Speaker 5: who has done a really good job in Florida. He's
- 22:09Speaker 5: term limited out. Harriet Hagerman won the GOP Senate primary
- 22:13Speaker 5: in Wyoming. Pretty sure she'll probably be reelected as well.
- 22:17Speaker 5: And then we saw that dirtbag Alexander Vindman lost his
- 22:20Speaker 5: Democrat primary in Florida by double digits in After outspending
- 22:26Speaker 5: his opponent, DSA candidate Angie Nixon, by 36 times. He
- 22:32Speaker 5: spent something like 16 point whatever million dollars and got
- 22:37Speaker 5: smoked by double digits. And then, of course, Trump is
- 22:41Speaker 5: now calling for his prosecution, which is hilarious. Coming up
- 22:44Speaker 5: in the next segment, we'll talk with Curtis Hoke. He's
- 22:47Speaker 5: the managing editor of Newsbusters. We'll talk about the primary
- 22:51Speaker 5: coverage and how the media is covering it. I imagine
- 22:54Speaker 5: I'll get his take on Trump. Wailing on Alexander Vindman.
- 23:01Speaker 5: The most gratifying loss last night was that of a
- 23:04Speaker 5: treasonous creep, Alexander Vindman, to a radical left lunatic who
- 23:09Speaker 5: can't speak or think properly. I love how Trump just
- 23:15Speaker 5: never pulls any punches when he goes on to true social.
- 23:19Speaker 5: He doesn't pull punches at all. So we'll get to that.
- 23:24Speaker 5: We can also talk about the race. It's heating up,
- 23:26Speaker 5: but it's here in Texas between James Talafrico and Ken Paxton.
- 23:32Speaker 5: Wonka Ken versus Talafrico. Um, it's a statistical dead heat,
- 23:37Speaker 5: but the latest Emerson college polling next star media found
- 23:41Speaker 5: that Paxton was leading 47 to 46 with 5% still undecided.
- 23:46Speaker 5: So the race is clearly within the margin of error.
- 23:48Speaker 5: Let's go and take a break. So we can get
- 23:50Speaker 5: a little extra time with our guests coming up. Once again,
- 23:52Speaker 5: Curtis Hoke joins us here next on Chris X radio.
- 23:55Speaker 5: He's the managing editor. of news busters really looking forward
- 23:59Speaker 5: to talking to him about some of the primary coverage
- 24:01Speaker 5: last night uh don't you go anywhere you're listening to

- 26:38Speaker 18: across your screen. Remember, you're always going to get a

- 27:19Speaker 2: Chris X Radio.
- 27:20Speaker 3: On the voice of Texas.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. It is now time
- 27:37Speaker 5: to catch up with our guest. It is Curtis Hoke.
- 27:39Speaker 5: He's the managing editor of Newsbusters. We'll talk a little
- 27:43Speaker 5: bit of the primary coverage taking place last night. There
- 27:45Speaker 5: was a lot of primaries last night. They were in Florida, Alaska, Wisconsin,
- 27:49Speaker 5: and a whole lot more. Now, Curtis is with Newsbusters.
- 27:52Speaker 5: If you're not familiar with Newsbusters, you need to be.
- 27:55Speaker 5: The website is newsbusters.org, and they do a lot of
- 27:59Speaker 5: great work. They're on social media, and I have played
- 28:02Speaker 5: many a clip on my program here over the last
- 28:04Speaker 5: few years of their fine work of busting the news,
- 28:08Speaker 5: the people that are supposed to be telling you news,
- 28:10Speaker 5: but oftentimes it is filtered in a direction that maybe
- 28:13Speaker 5: you don't necessarily lean. Curtis joins us here now. Curtis,
- 28:17Speaker 5: thanks for being here today on Chris X Radio.
- 28:20Speaker 12: Hey, Chris, pleasure to be with you.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Well, it's great to have you on the program. So
- 28:23Speaker 5: we had a whole lot of primaries last night, which
- 28:26Speaker 5: meant they got a whole lot of news coverage, which
- 28:29Speaker 5: gives you guys over at Newsbusters plenty of stuff to
- 28:32Speaker 5: cover with the way they're covering things. Where do you
- 28:36Speaker 5: want to start? Because I mentioned Byron Donalds won the
- 28:39Speaker 5: GOP gubernatorial primary in Florida. Then Harriet Hagerman won in Wyoming.
- 28:44Speaker 5: But then you had Alex Vindman or Alexander Vindman. He
- 28:47Speaker 5: got crushed after outspending his opponent, a DSA player. you know,
- 28:51Speaker 5: candidate Angie Nixon by 36 times. There's a lot to cover.
- 28:57Speaker 12: Well, yeah, I mean, in the broadcast networks this morning,
- 29:00Speaker 12: took it in a few different directions. You know, we
- 29:02Speaker 12: can just start there. Huge win for Byron Donalds. You know,
- 29:06Speaker 12: they didn't really mention, they kind of footnoted David Jolly,
- 29:10Speaker 12: the guy, he's one of those people that like, even
- 29:12Speaker 12: if you don't use his handle, he'll find you on
- 29:14Speaker 12: social media and respond to you because he's that much
- 29:16Speaker 12: of a narcissist. Um, you know, he was a Republican
- 29:20Speaker 12: turned independent. Now he's a Democrat, but he's not a socialist. Uh,
- 29:25Speaker 12: he's going to get his teeth kicked in, uh, presumably, um,
- 29:29Speaker 12: you know, meanwhile, over in the Senate race, you bring
- 29:31Speaker 12: up Angie Nixon's big win, the socialist and working families
- 29:34Speaker 12: party member who beat Alexander Vindman, even though Alexander Vindman
- 29:39Speaker 12: had lit six.
- 29:39Speaker 17: Foot $ 16.
- 29:41Speaker 12: 2 million on fire. And I think the takeaway with
- 29:45Speaker 12: this one, guys, the networks were really shocked about this one.
- 29:50Speaker 12: But I will say, let this be another lesson, albeit
- 29:54Speaker 12: on the left, that what CNN and MSNOW, the artists
- 29:59Speaker 12: formerly known as MSNBC, think is fun and what their
- 30:03Speaker 12: green room guests think is fun or substantive candidate doesn't
- 30:07Speaker 12: always translate into the ballot box because there's all this hype.
- 30:12Speaker 12: You know, Alexander Vindman, guys, he's like a celebrity. His
- 30:15Speaker 12: wife is like a keyboard warrior on blue sky and
- 30:20Speaker 12: on X. You would think he would have had this,
- 30:22Speaker 12: but you know, It's just like at the end of
- 30:24Speaker 12: the day, that's why we play the game. So when
- 30:26Speaker 12: you talk about football, that's kind of what we saw here.
- 30:30Speaker 12: So the networks, I think, were kind of left picking
- 30:32Speaker 12: up the pieces, but they kind of realized they could
- 30:34Speaker 12: spin this as another positive for the socialists because, oh,
- 30:37Speaker 12: they might have a chance in Florida, even though, of course,
- 30:41Speaker 12: Jared Moskowitz won, Debbie Wasserman Schultz won, they defeated socialists
- 30:46Speaker 12: in both of those races.
- 30:49Speaker 5: You know, we're talking with Curtis Hoke. He's the managing
- 30:51Speaker 5: editor of Newsbusters. And we're starting off here in Florida.
- 30:54Speaker 5: And you mentioned Alexander Vindman. Now, he's the quote unquote
- 30:58Speaker 5: whistleblower that led to the first impeachment of Trump. It
- 31:00Speaker 5: turns out he just made stuff up. It was a lie.
- 31:03Speaker 5: We got the transcript of the phone conversation. And then
- 31:05Speaker 5: Trump was eventually acquitted by the Senate. So we've got that.
- 31:09Speaker 5: This guy, they tried to make this guy out to
- 31:11Speaker 5: be a leftist hero. And then here he is, as
- 31:13Speaker 5: you pointed out, he got absolutely crushed by a radical
- 31:17Speaker 5: leftist campaign. democrat socialist of america candidate after outspending them
- 31:22Speaker 5: 36 to 1 what was it 16.2 million dollars to
- 31:27Speaker 5: a person that i'm thinking most people had never even
- 31:30Speaker 5: heard of uh so it kind of shows that this
- 31:33Speaker 5: guy clearly wasn't as popular as the media tried to
- 31:35Speaker 5: convince us that.
- 31:36Speaker 12: He was well and i mean also too you don't
- 31:39Speaker 12: really know how long is this guy like but in
- 31:42Speaker 12: florida is this kind of like the 19th congressional district, uh,
- 31:46Speaker 12: the race to replace Byron Donald's where it's like the
- 31:48Speaker 12: carpet bagging, like battle Royale. Um, you know, it's one
- 31:54Speaker 12: of those things because his brothers, the Congressman in Northern Virginia,
- 31:57Speaker 12: and that kind of makes sense that Binman is a
- 32:01Speaker 12: Congressman up here where, where I am, but his brother
- 32:05Speaker 12: moved to Florida. I don't really understand how that works.
- 32:07Speaker 12: And I think probably voters saw that as well. And
- 32:10Speaker 12: reportedly as well too, he wasn't good about pressing flesh, uh,
- 32:14Speaker 12: you know, going to meet voters. Like, he couldn't even
- 32:16Speaker 12: do stage campaign events. He couldn't even corral leftist influencers.
- 32:22Speaker 12: I think he just kind of was under the assumption that, like,
- 32:24Speaker 12: I'm Alexander Vindman. I nearly helped take down Donald Trump,
- 32:28Speaker 12: therefore vote for me. Well, like, what do you think about, like,
- 32:30Speaker 12: guns or, like, Medicare for All? It doesn't matter. And
- 32:34Speaker 12: the media, I think, kind of had to kind of
- 32:37Speaker 12: sweep that under the rug. Instead, it kind of became
- 32:40Speaker 12: more about Nixon winning the than Vindman losing because that
- 32:47Speaker 12: would require the media, the leftist, elitist media to eat
- 32:51Speaker 12: crow on this one. So I think they definitely leaned
- 32:54Speaker 12: into that more. I will say CBS, Barry Weiss's CBS
- 32:57Speaker 12: had a long interview with Angie Nixon in its second
- 33:00Speaker 12: hour that I recommend folks check out. I have some
- 33:02Speaker 12: on my feed. They tried three times to ask her,
- 33:05Speaker 12: how would you pay for Medicare for all, universal pre-K
- 33:08Speaker 12: and universal child care? And she basically was like, well,
- 33:11Speaker 12: repeal the big, beautiful bill. And you're like, well, that's
- 33:13Speaker 12: not really an answer. So they asked about Israel and
- 33:16Speaker 12: other things as well.
- 33:17Speaker 5: Yeah. And once again, the Democrat Party is now facing
- 33:20Speaker 5: this insurgency from the the Democrat socialist. And Angie Nixon
- 33:24Speaker 5: is definitely one of those. And I think you just,
- 33:26Speaker 5: you pointed out, I call them the media, the propaganda
- 33:29Speaker 5: apparatus of the Democrat cult, because that's basically what they
- 33:33Speaker 5: have become. And you're right. They're going to try to
- 33:35Speaker 5: spin things, of course, whatever direction they can. And then
- 33:37Speaker 5: when someone like Alexander Vindman, who's got the personality of
- 33:41Speaker 5: a doormat, You're right. He wasn't able to candidate, you know,
- 33:46Speaker 5: be a good candidate and do things well. And despite
- 33:48Speaker 5: the fact that he spent all that money, he really
- 33:50Speaker 5: got no traction. And then there's the other element of
- 33:53Speaker 5: it is where these are primaries. So he's running in
- 33:56Speaker 5: a Democrat primary in Florida, which means that primary has
- 34:00Speaker 5: gotten increasingly, well, we'll just say to the left. And
- 34:04Speaker 5: he just got crushed. And you're right. He got smoked.
- 34:07Speaker 5: And good, good for America, I guess, because I don't think.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Angie Nixon is going to do well in the general.
- 34:13Speaker 5: But you never know. I mean, like I said, once again,
- 34:14Speaker 5: this is too early to call anything for November. But
- 34:17Speaker 5: to see guys like Vindman, a guy who very dishonest,
- 34:20Speaker 5: a guy who's a liar, who tried to take down
- 34:23Speaker 5: a sitting president and failed is once again, he just
- 34:25Speaker 5: got got smoked. And then, of course, I'm sure you
- 34:28Speaker 5: probably got a kick out of watching Donald Trump just
- 34:30Speaker 5: go and eviscerate Vindman on was a true social. Basically,
- 34:36Speaker 5: Trump is not one to allow the body to get
- 34:38Speaker 5: cold before he piles on. How nice is that? The
- 34:42Speaker 5: guy deserved it big time.
- 34:46Speaker 12: Oh, yeah, absolutely. I just think it's so much fun. And,
- 34:51Speaker 12: of course, I see the pivot, too, with Nixon. The media,
- 34:55Speaker 12: a lot of the broadcast networks, like Disney-owned ABC and
- 34:58Speaker 12: NBC and CNN and MSNOW to a slightly lesser extent,
- 35:02Speaker 12: have taken Josh Shapiro's approach, which is they're like, please
- 35:06Speaker 12: eat me last. camp of the Democrat Party, where they're like,
- 35:11Speaker 12: you know, they're willing to be nice to DSA, but like,
- 35:15Speaker 12: we're not going to go like full in. We're going
- 35:17Speaker 12: to make it as superficial as possible because they know
- 35:20Speaker 12: that these people are both radical and dangerous to the
- 35:23Speaker 12: future of this country. And the DSA, they are such
- 35:27Speaker 12: true believers that they'll bulldoze anybody who gets in their way.
- 35:31Speaker 12: So I think they're trying to make nice like Josh
- 35:32Speaker 12: Shapiro right now instead of standing up and say, like
- 35:36Speaker 12: Michael LaRosa, the Biden aide, saying, you know what? No,
- 35:41Speaker 12: absolutely not. Hassan Piker, people, out. You're done.
- 35:45Speaker 5: We're talking with Curtis Hoke. He's the managing editor of
- 35:49Speaker 5: the Newsbusters. By the way, you mentioned Twitter or X.
- 35:52Speaker 5: At Curtis Hoke, H-O-U-C-K is how you can follow him
- 35:56Speaker 5: on social media. Make sure you're following Newsbusters as well
- 35:59Speaker 5: so you can get the wonderful clips that they put
- 36:01Speaker 5: out from time to time showing the intellectual dishonesty of
- 36:04Speaker 5: those on the left. And of course, that is more
- 36:06Speaker 5: often than not, in the lamestream media, is what I
- 36:09Speaker 5: call them. So that's happened. There was a few other
- 36:12Speaker 5: races last night that got pretty interesting because we saw, well,
- 36:16Speaker 5: like I said, Harriet Hagerman in Wyoming, that wasn't a
- 36:19Speaker 5: surprise that she won. But then, you know, Byron Donalds,
- 36:22Speaker 5: as you mentioned, you know, if we're going to stay
- 36:23Speaker 5: in Florida, he seemed to win the GOP gubernatorial primary easily.
- 36:28Speaker 5: And as you mentioned, he's going to be taking on,
- 36:30Speaker 5: what's it, Mr. Jolly? It doesn't seem to be a
- 36:33Speaker 5: very jolly guy, but nonetheless, I... I don't really see
- 36:36Speaker 5: him having too much trouble winning in Florida. Florida seems
- 36:39Speaker 5: to be solidly red after, you know, Governor DeSantis's tenure.
- 36:43Speaker 5: That state has become solid red. Whereas in Alaska, we
- 36:48Speaker 5: had a candidate, the incumbent, and then the Democrats put
- 36:51Speaker 5: up another guy with the exact same name, just a
- 36:54Speaker 5: different middle initial. Now, this these kind of races are
- 36:58Speaker 5: crazy to me.
- 37:01Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean, this is like Chicago 1960 kind of hijinks. Like,
- 37:06Speaker 12: you honestly mean to tell me that they found a
- 37:09Speaker 12: guy named Daniel J. Sullivan to pee against the Republican
- 37:14Speaker 12: Daniel S. Sullivan. Now, Alaska, unfortunately, I'm sorry, guys, you're
- 37:18Speaker 12: kind of stupid. You went to rank choice voting. Are
- 37:21Speaker 12: you serious? And so because of that, now the primary,
- 37:25Speaker 12: it's a jungle primary like you see over in Louisiana.
- 37:28Speaker 12: And not only do the top two advance, the top
- 37:31Speaker 12: four are going to advance. And right now, Dan J. Sullivan,
- 37:35Speaker 12: the fake candidate, has 2.4% of the vote, which is
- 37:39Speaker 12: good for third place, fourth place, and fifth place have 1.1%
- 37:42Speaker 12: with 80% in. They're not going to, he's not going
- 37:46Speaker 12: to be caught. So this guy is going to be
- 37:48Speaker 12: on the ballot in November. How ludicrous is that? Now,
- 37:51Speaker 12: he's like, I'm a retired fifth grade teacher. I really
- 37:54Speaker 12: just want to run. Well, it comes out in the
- 37:56Speaker 12: New York Times, which ABC, CBS, NBC have all ignored, important,
- 38:01Speaker 12: most notably, that he's voted Democrat in the last three
- 38:04Speaker 12: presidential elections. He voted for Mary Peltola when she ran
- 38:08Speaker 12: for Congress. And he's attended a No Kings protest. So
- 38:13Speaker 12: why is he running as a Republican if not to
- 38:16Speaker 12: create chaos? If you think he's just doing this, I
- 38:20Speaker 12: have Sarah Palin's bridge to nowhere to sell you.
- 38:24Speaker 5: Once again, we're talking with Curtis Hoke, the managing editor
- 38:26Speaker 5: of Newsbusters. And this is one of the reasons why
- 38:28Speaker 5: I love what you guys do at Newsbusters, because once again,
- 38:31Speaker 5: you dig down and do the things that the regular
- 38:34Speaker 5: media refuses to do. Now, the regular media had this
- 38:37Speaker 5: air of credibility for years and years. And now we've learned, well,
- 38:40Speaker 5: you know what? Maybe they weren't telling us the truth many,
- 38:43Speaker 5: many times over for a long, long time. And then now,
- 38:45Speaker 5: thanks to the Internet. That is they can't get away
- 38:48Speaker 5: with it with virtual impunity anymore. And thanks to organizations
- 38:51Speaker 5: like Newsbusters, you guys are able to catch them literally
- 38:55Speaker 5: in their lies or lies by omission. And then to
- 38:57Speaker 5: point out things like this, the Democrats still pulling these
- 39:00Speaker 5: dirty 1960s style Chicago tricks, which is kind of incredible
- 39:06Speaker 5: watching how they're operating. So then you mentioned the jungle
- 39:09Speaker 5: primary in Alaska. Alaska's the ranked voting and stuff is
- 39:13Speaker 5: so weird to me, especially as being in Texas. So
- 39:16Speaker 5: it's a very different sort of place, and it doesn't
- 39:18Speaker 5: really make much sense why you would allow the top four.
- 39:21Speaker 5: But then, once again, you point out the Democrats just
- 39:24Speaker 5: so happened to find a Democrat guy who's voted for
- 39:27Speaker 5: Democrats constantly, yet happens to have the same name as
- 39:31Speaker 5: the incumbent, and he's running as a Republican. Once again,
- 39:34Speaker 5: it just shows that there's no level they won't stoop
- 39:37Speaker 5: to in order to try to, you know, win these elections.
- 39:40Speaker 5: All right, we're short on time. You got any final
- 39:42Speaker 5: thoughts from last night's coverage that you want to hit
- 39:45Speaker 5: on here before we run out.
- 39:45Speaker 19: Of time, Curtis?
- 39:47Speaker 12: Well, I just also want to note what's happening to
- 39:49Speaker 12: Natalie Harp is absolutely ludicrous. I've known her when she
- 39:52Speaker 12: was an OAN host. That is a story to keep
- 39:55Speaker 12: an eye on as well. And the centrist progressive framing,
- 39:58Speaker 12: as we go forward with the midterms, how they're playing
- 40:00Speaker 12: word games with that. We have had stories out about that.
- 40:03Speaker 12: We're going to continue to have more of that as well,
- 40:05Speaker 12: as well as the Abraham Lincoln thing. Seems a little fishy,
- 40:09Speaker 12: pun intended, no pun intended. So keep your eyes out
- 40:13Speaker 12: for more about that.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Are you telling me that the media running with a
- 40:16Speaker 5: story about her climbing into the trunk, you know, Natalie
- 40:19Speaker 5: Harp climbing into the trunk of a car isn't real?
- 40:22Speaker 5: That didn't really happen? I'm shocked, Curtis.
- 40:25Speaker 12: Right, or that we're supposed to, like, look at her, like,
- 40:27Speaker 12: total disheveled hipster brother and think, man, he is the
- 40:31Speaker 12: one that's stable in that family.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:35Speaker 5: Yeah, no kidding. Hey, Curtis, thanks for coming on the
- 40:37Speaker 5: program today. I appreciate your time.
- 40:40Speaker 12: No problem. Take care, guys.
- 40:42Speaker 5: All right, take care. Once again, Curtis Hoke, he's the
- 40:43Speaker 5: managing editor of Newsbusters. Once again, if you get a chance,
- 40:47Speaker 5: make sure you're following Newsbusters. It's newsbusters.org. You can follow
- 40:50Speaker 5: Curtis on Twitter, X, at Curtis, H-O-U-C-K, Curtis Hoke. And,
- 40:55Speaker 5: of course, you can follow Newsbusters on Twitter, X. They're
- 40:59Speaker 5: a great follow, first of all. And then, of course,
- 41:01Speaker 5: you can follow Curtis, who is clearly the managing editor
- 41:03Speaker 5: of Newsbusters, so they can keep you posted on the garbage.
- 41:07Speaker 5: I pull their clips on a regular basis and play
- 41:09Speaker 5: them on this program regularly. because they show how intellectually
- 41:12Speaker 5: dishonest the lamestream media is, and there's still so many
- 41:16Speaker 5: people that trust them, that think they're legit news when
- 41:19Speaker 5: they're anything but. All right, I appreciate Curtis for joining
- 41:22Speaker 5: us this afternoon. All right, let's take a short break.
- 41:24Speaker 5: We'll come back here on our hump day edition of
- 41:25Speaker 5: the program. We can open up the phones to you guys.

- 42:41Speaker 11: I never dreamed when I started doing this 22 years

- 42:46Speaker 19: Well, you may not get a lot of people calling in,
- 42:49Speaker 19: but I'm sure there's lots and lots of people listening

- 43:56Speaker 18: Thinking of buying a home, it's important to start off
- 43:58Speaker 18: with a solid pre-approval. Hi, I'm Kathy Baker from Baker Mortgage. Yes,
- 44:03Speaker 18: we ask a lot of questions, but that's because we're
- 44:05Speaker 18: not going to give you a pre-approval that's going to
- 44:07Speaker 18: blow up as you're trying to cross the finish line.
- 44:10Speaker 18: What's figured in there for property taxes? If it didn't
- 44:13Speaker 18: come up, you really don't know what you're pre-approved for.
- 44:16Speaker 18: That should make you wonder what else they may have
- 44:18Speaker 18: left out. At Baker Mortgage, we get it right. We
- 44:21Speaker 18: haven't been around for 60 years because we're lucky. Yes,
- 44:24Speaker 18: we have wholesale rates, 80-10-10s, and all kinds of programs,
- 44:28Speaker 18: but in the end, it's really about taking good care
- 44:30Speaker 18: of people, and they continue to come back and send
- 44:33Speaker 18: their kids, their friends, and sometimes their parents. Whether you're buying, building,

- 44:52Speaker 11: The Voice of Texas. The Voice of Reason. Chris X Radio.
- 44:58Speaker 11: Chris X Radio.
- 45:05Speaker 5: By the way, I enjoyed the Curtis called, what do
- 45:13Speaker 5: you call it, MS Now, the Voice of Reason. The
- 45:15Speaker 5: artist formerly known as MSNBC. I like how they changed
- 45:20Speaker 5: the name. They didn't change the approach. They're still the
- 45:24Speaker 5: same leftist propaganda trash. Welcome back to Chris X Radio.
- 45:27Speaker 5: You've reached the final segment of the first hour. Oh,
- 45:30Speaker 5: don't you go away. We've got hour number two locked
- 45:32Speaker 5: and loaded. So we've got plenty of time to get
- 45:34Speaker 5: to you, get to your phone calls here on your
- 45:36Speaker 5: hump day edition. If you want to join us, 281-558-KSCV.
- 45:41Speaker 5: That is 281-558-5738. And also I've been informed that on
- 45:45Speaker 5: the new app that you can only download on iPhone.
- 45:48Speaker 5: I don't know if they've, uh, if they've necessarily made
- 45:51Speaker 5: it for, uh, the Android yet, I guess we need
- 45:54Speaker 5: to get that done. But if you're on an iPhone,
- 45:56Speaker 5: you can download the new app and then you can, uh,
- 45:59Speaker 5: You can call directly when the shows are live. It
- 46:02Speaker 5: has a number. You can just punch, hey, call now.
- 46:04Speaker 5: So if you're listening to that. So, okay, I want
- 46:07Speaker 5: to thank Curtis Hoke, the managing editor of Newsbusters. I'm
- 46:10Speaker 5: a big fan of Newsbusters and the Media Research Center
- 46:13Speaker 5: and what they've done. And they do a great job of,
- 46:15Speaker 5: once again, being a watchdog of the lamestream media. Because
- 46:20Speaker 5: the lamestream media is lame. And everybody thinks they're news.
- 46:24Speaker 5: They're not news. I don't know how long it's been
- 46:28Speaker 5: Since they've actually been news, if they ever really were.
- 46:32Speaker 5: I mean, you've got Dan Rather. How many years has
- 46:35Speaker 5: he been gone? Back when he was going after George
- 46:38Speaker 5: Herbert Walker Bush. And Herbert Walker handed his hat to him.
- 46:43Speaker 5: And then he lied about it. Well, he goes all
- 46:45Speaker 5: the way back to the Vietnam War when he interviewed
- 46:47Speaker 5: fake people that didn't even go to Vietnam and talked
- 46:50Speaker 5: about the atrocities that were committed in Vietnam that turned
- 46:53Speaker 5: out to be completely fake news. And then he tried
- 46:55Speaker 5: to defend it. So Dan Rather, which by the way,
- 46:59Speaker 5: I went to Sam Houston State University for a year
- 47:01Speaker 5: and they had named, he went there. So they named their,
- 47:04Speaker 5: I guess their entire journalism department after him. I don't
- 47:08Speaker 5: know if it still is, but he's Dan Rather. What's
- 47:13Speaker 5: the frequency, Kenneth? Turned out he was just a leftist dirtbag.
- 47:18Speaker 5: It's weird. You go back into the old guys like
- 47:20Speaker 5: Walter Cronkite. You don't know. I'm pretty sure they all
- 47:23Speaker 5: leaned left, but you don't know their politics because And
- 47:26Speaker 5: then when you got into the Dan Rather age, that
- 47:28Speaker 5: led us right into where we are today, where it's
- 47:32Speaker 5: glaringly obvious if they're not a leftist. Because all of
- 47:37Speaker 5: the networks, local and national, have been just flooded with them.
- 47:40Speaker 5: It's all groupthink. If you're not a hardcore leftist, you're
- 47:44Speaker 5: not allowed. We don't want you here. That's why I
- 47:47Speaker 5: worked at CBS Radio KHOU here in Houston. I worked
- 47:51Speaker 5: there for about three or four months. I think it's
- 47:52Speaker 5: four months. And a kid fresh out of college, I
- 47:57Speaker 5: could see their bias. It was so terrible. And I
- 48:00Speaker 5: hated it. I liked the people that I worked with.
- 48:02Speaker 5: Some of them were real good people. But worked there
- 48:05Speaker 5: for a short amount of time. Went over and launched
- 48:07Speaker 5: Houston's only business radio station at the time. Working for
- 48:10Speaker 5: CBS Radio. And then we did that for about five years,
- 48:13Speaker 5: did real well. And then the higher ups at CBS
- 48:16Speaker 5: radio decided once again to try to bring in Howard Stern,
- 48:20Speaker 5: try to entice him to stay with CBS radio. And
- 48:25Speaker 5: they flipped it to, it was kick a talk. It
- 48:29Speaker 5: was terrible. It's all comedy radio and Howard Stern. And
- 48:33Speaker 5: it was just, the shows were terrible. And it didn't
- 48:37Speaker 5: last very long. And Howard Stern didn't last very long.
- 48:40Speaker 5: He used it. Like I said, they flipped a few
- 48:42Speaker 5: stations to cover his program. And by the way, they
- 48:44Speaker 5: did just a little contrast of things. They brought Howard
- 48:49Speaker 5: Stern to Houston. They did a big launch party thing.
- 48:51Speaker 5: It was going to be great. And I remember the
- 48:55Speaker 5: cluster president and the program director showed up to this
- 48:59Speaker 5: event at like 530 in the morning and At some
- 49:02Speaker 5: place to celebrate Howard Stern, a listening party and about
- 49:07Speaker 5: four people showed up. I'm not kidding. It may have
- 49:10Speaker 5: been four. And it never got any better. Whereas Chris
- 49:15Speaker 5: X radio about a year and a half ago was
- 49:17Speaker 5: did pizza parties and we had over 100 people turn up.
- 49:20Speaker 5: out at our first pizza party at our second pizza
- 49:22Speaker 5: party we had over 200 people so you tell me
- 49:25Speaker 5: who had a better gauge on texas and houston listeners
- 49:28Speaker 5: and this was the second time they brought howard stern
- 49:30Speaker 5: to houston because he came to fm back in the
- 49:33Speaker 5: 90s and he failed miserably then but they tried to
- 49:35Speaker 5: pretend that that didn't happen By the way, I don't
- 49:39Speaker 5: think any of those people are still at CBS Radio,
- 49:42Speaker 5: which CBS Radio doesn't exist anymore. I think it's Odyssey now.
- 49:46Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 49:47Speaker 5: And then they flipped... Well, we've only got one classic
- 49:49Speaker 5: rock station now because they flipped the other one, the hot.
- 49:51Speaker 3: The hit.
- 49:52Speaker 5: Not hot hits. What was it? The spot. They changed
- 49:56Speaker 5: that to sports. Like, we needed... We've got, like, five,
- 49:59Speaker 5: six sports stations here. So... I don't know. I don't,
- 50:05Speaker 5: I look at the decisions that are made by these
- 50:07Speaker 5: people and I go, do you guys know anything about radio?
- 50:10Speaker 5: Have you ever thought of maybe possibly because the hit station,
- 50:14Speaker 5: the 95.7, the spot was actually, it did real well
- 50:18Speaker 5: on the ratings and revenue and they flipped it. And
- 50:23Speaker 5: I don't know what they call it now, but it's
- 50:24Speaker 5: sports something. Is it another ticket station?
- 50:28Speaker 12: Maybe.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Whatever. Clearly unnecessary. Don't know why that was needed. But
- 50:34Speaker 5: it is, according to the higher ups. I remember the
- 50:37Speaker 5: music stations they had are basically being programmed out of
- 50:40Speaker 5: New York at the time. And you wonder why people
- 50:43Speaker 5: here in Texas don't necessarily relate. Now that doesn't transition
- 50:48Speaker 5: well here in Texas. New York, you guys do your thing.
- 50:52Speaker 5: Elect communists to run the greatest, the biggest city in America. Yeah,
- 50:56Speaker 5: let us know how that works out for you. Governor
- 51:00Speaker 5: Abbott called him to the carpet. Oh, you guys are
- 51:02Speaker 5: a sanctuary city? You want all the illegals? Okay, we'll
- 51:05Speaker 5: give them to you. Here you go. Wait a minute.
- 51:08Speaker 5: We didn't know there was going to be so many. Yeah, congratulations.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Stay out of our Texas business. Unfortunately, the big business
- 51:19Speaker 5: models don't necessarily do that, which is why I'm happy
- 51:21Speaker 5: to be here on KSCV, the voice of Texas, independently
- 51:25Speaker 5: owned and operated business. We're not run by a big
- 51:28Speaker 5: New York conglomerate, thank God. If we were, I don't
- 51:31Speaker 5: think they would allow me to say the things that
- 51:33Speaker 5: I say on the air. Anyway, welcome back. Once again,
- 51:36Speaker 5: this is the final segment of the first hour. If
- 51:38Speaker 5: you want to— well, we don't have much time to get
- 51:39Speaker 5: a call this segment, but we will in the next
- 51:42Speaker 5: segment or for the next hour. If you want to
- 51:44Speaker 5: weigh in on last night's primaries, 281-558-KSCV, 281-558-5738. Or you
- 51:47Speaker 5: want to weigh in on Trump— torching Alexander Vindman after
- 51:56Speaker 5: he got smoked in his primary loss last night or
- 51:58Speaker 5: the battle between James Tallarico and Ken Paxton here. In Texas,
- 52:04Speaker 5: the latest poll has Paxton up 47 to 46, but
- 52:09Speaker 5: that's still with 5% undecided and 2% supporting another candidate.
- 52:13Speaker 5: So we can dig into that in the second hour. Also,
- 52:17Speaker 5: there's an investigation into this U.S. Senate polling shows that
- 52:22Speaker 5: 73% of these surveys overstate support levels for Democrats. Patrick Ruffini,
- 52:29Speaker 5: the co-founder of Echelon Insights, published the results of a
- 52:32Speaker 5: deep dive into polling yesterday. And man, it's funny. It's
- 52:39Speaker 5: almost as though it's a plan. It's almost as though
- 52:41Speaker 5: it's a plot. It's almost as though they're doing this
- 52:44Speaker 5: on purpose. Almost. I would never suggest that they do
- 52:48Speaker 5: it on purpose to try to get more Democrats elected. Yes,
- 52:51Speaker 5: I would. Or you can even comment on Carla Wyatt,
- 52:56Speaker 5: Harris County treasurer, says she wants a $ 250, 000 raise. After
- 53:01Speaker 5: being busted, arrested three times, twice for drunk driving, and
- 53:05Speaker 5: one time for breaking into a woman's car. This is
- 53:08Speaker 5: the treasurer of the third largest, most populous county in
- 53:12Speaker 5: the country. You wonder why they're considering getting rid of

- 56:01Speaker 3: The following is a real-life story from Trinity Debt Management.
- 56:05Speaker 23: When I was feeling the stress of too much credit
- 56:07Speaker 23: card debt, I looked at two different options, debt settlement
- 56:11Speaker 23: and debt management.
- 56:13Speaker 3: They may sound the same, but guess what? They're not.
- 56:16Speaker 23: Debt settlement seemed like a quick fix, but I found
- 56:19Speaker 23: out it would destroy my credit, create tax headaches, and
- 56:23Speaker 23: hit me with huge fees. They actually told me to
- 56:26Speaker 23: stop paying my bills.
- 56:27Speaker 3: No way.
- 56:28Speaker 22: Not me.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 56:30Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Thank you.

- 58:38Speaker 3: From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 58:43Speaker 27: Military planners always assumed that if a war with Iran began,
- 58:47Speaker 27: the Iranians would attempt to take the Persian Gulf hostage
- 58:51Speaker 27: and close the Straits of Hormuz. What nobody expected was
- 58:54Speaker 27: that the Iranians would be allowed to export, while America's allies,
- 58:59Speaker 27: the Saudis, Kuwaitis, the UAE, and occasionally, Qatar, would be blocked.
- 59:04Speaker 27: A sort of mutually assured destruction was expected to provide
- 59:08Speaker 27: enough leverage on Iran to keep the Iranians out of
- 59:09Speaker 27: the war. the straits open. Yet, for a brief period,
- 59:13Speaker 27: they were allowed to export their own crude and charge
- 59:16Speaker 27: a ransom to anyone else wanting to do the same.
- 59:19Speaker 27: That is, until the U.S. Navy stepped in with a
- 59:23Speaker 27: blockade of its own on all Iranian exports, including crude oil.
- 59:28Speaker 27: In just a few weeks, Iranian storage will max out,
- 59:32Speaker 27: leaving Iranian oil producers with no other choices but to
- 59:37Speaker 27: shut in oil wells permanently, damaging their ability to fund
- 59:41Speaker 27: their economy, pay their military, and bankroll their terrorist proxies.
- 59:46Speaker 27: The cutoff would be close to 100%, a huge blow
- 59:49Speaker 27: if continued. Which is why, even though Democrats in Congress
- 59:54Speaker 27: attempted to hand the Iranians a victory by pulling funding
- 59:58Speaker 27: from our military, the United States will successfully force the
- 1:00:02Speaker 27: Iranians to yield and concede to open the straits and
- 1:00:06Speaker 27: end their nuclear weapons program. One way or another, despite
- 1:00:10Speaker 27: the media fawning over the brilliance of Iranian strategy, the
- 1:00:14Speaker 27: Iranians will lose. Despite his political opponents rooting for U.S.
- 1:00:19Speaker 27: strategy to fail, President Trump has bent the arc of
- 1:00:23Speaker 27: history and dealt a homicidal regime a blow it will
- 1:00:28Speaker 27: take decades to recover. The American people have not supported
- 1:00:31Speaker 27: this war, and high gas prices will harm Republican chances
- 1:00:35Speaker 27: in November. But the prospects of a deal on America's
- 1:00:39Speaker 27: terms should result in us doing a lot better than
- 1:00:43Speaker 27: most people think. I'm Ben Strewsand, and that's my view.
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: Ben Strewsand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: tracking charts and reminding us to be prepared for big storms.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 1:01:06Speaker 5: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Lewis Flory
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: at Ability Tree Experts today. my friend for nearly 40 years.
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: sap will ooze and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: need to call Lewis Flory today at 281-441-4179. and have
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.

- 1:02:06Speaker 10: Houston.
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: We are going to launch.
- 1:02:09Speaker 28: Five, four, three, two, one.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: It's Chris X Radio.
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: What we need right now is a clear message to
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: the people of this country.
- 1:02:25Speaker 29: This message must.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Be read in every newspaper, heard on every radio, seen
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: on every television.
- 1:02:31Speaker 26: This message must resound throughout the entire intelligence.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: And now, your host.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I believe this is going to be our finest hour.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: Chris X.
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: Hey, Lucas, I got a question. I was watching the stream,
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: which we now stream the video of the program over
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: on TwitterX, on KSCV Radio's site. Of course, Rumble, YouTube,
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: and Facebook. Yes, sir. Man, the show has a really
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: cool intro. Do you have any idea who may have
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: put that together? No, I think it was an elf.
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: An elf? Man, that's a talented elf. Just showed up,
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: and it was there. Just showed up. I like that intro.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: It kind of matches my show. I think it's pretty
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: good of... I do believe it kind of fits us,
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: assuming control of the airwaves.
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: Nice.
- 1:03:25Speaker 29: Well, I will let the elf know that you appreciate it.
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: I was going to say, hunt that elf down. Look
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: for him and let him know. I appreciate it. If
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: he can do any other cool stuff, I'm good with it.
- 1:03:33Speaker 30: I think we can.
- 1:03:34Speaker 29: I mean, he can hook that up.
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: I think somebody just busted themselves. Anywho. good evening welcome
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: to the second hour gross x radio i am the
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: aforementioned x-man glad to have you here with us as
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: once again we've assumed control of the broadcast we'll maintain
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: control here for another hour then we'll turn things over
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: and then we'll be back for our friday show on
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: thursday it seems to come quicker and quicker each week
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: but it's still never quick enough for me which is
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: funny because it's our friday show on thursday which is
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: 24 hours ahead of everybody else So I'm really honored
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: and blessed to be able to do that, to celebrate
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: the weekend before anybody else gets started. You know, I've
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: talked to, it's funny, well, the cracker smoker, Run-On Robert,
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: who usually calls in on our Friday show on Thursday.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: He's so kind. He saves the ramblings of a lunatic
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: mind for our Friday show on Thursday. But he's one
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: that made it very clear. Apparently, I work about eight
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: hours a week, and that is too much. It's just
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: too much work. I can't. I mean, because I just
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: literally crack the mic, and I don't prepare for radio
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: shows at all. I just come on, crack the mic,
- 1:04:47Speaker 5: and then as soon as I'm done, that's it. I'm done.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: I don't do anything else. That's all I've ever done.
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: it's funny because I actually ascribe to the old method.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: And I don't know if everybody else does this. I
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: have no idea how people, I can clearly tell Chris
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: Salcedo in the mornings, who, by the way, it's his
- 1:05:06Speaker 5: final week. He's leaving after this week, going and doing,
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: from what I'm told, it's a digital thing. I don't know,
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: but he's going to be working even harder at his
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: new venture. So I hope it is a good adventure.
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: I hope he does well because Chris is a super
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: nice guy. He's very talented. And like I said, I've
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: always been Like I said, I've got to work with
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: Chris here for the past eight years almost now. So
- 1:05:28Speaker 5: he's leaving. I'll be the most tenured radio show host
- 1:05:31Speaker 5: on KCV, which is kind of crazy. I remember when
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: I was a fresh, wet-behind-the-ears host that just started, and
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: the listeners were all calling in trying to quiz me
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: on things to see if I was legit or I
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: was a rhino. There's been a lot. We've had a
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: lot of people come and go. And very few people,
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: I say very few, it's been a few, have been
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: able to sit here in the chair formerly occupied by
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, which he made. He's the guy
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: who brought Rush Limbaugh to Houston, and then he became
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: the Rush Limbaugh of Texas. He's still probably my favorite
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: Texas radio show of all time, even though he doesn't
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: do it. He's got his podcast, the Lieutenant Dan Podcast.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: I know it's weird. This is going to surprise you.
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: It's a really good podcast. Anything the guy does is
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: pretty good. He's pretty sharp. And he's one of my
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: favorite politicians because I look at all of the hit
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: jobs on the Internet in the sea of hate. But
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: Dan is one of those politicians that he told me
- 1:06:32Speaker 5: exactly how he was going to vote for years on
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: the radio before he ever served as a state senator
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: and then the lieutenant governor. I don't even worry about
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: his vote. I voted for him every time he's ran
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: for lieutenant governor, voted for him when he ran for
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: state senator, had no qualms about it, and I'll be
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: voting for him again. well before I ever came to
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: work for this station. And I told them that. And
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: it's true. Nobody they've ever put up against them even
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: can hold a candle. And now they're saying, oh, it's
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: a tight race. I don't believe the polling, which is
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: one of the things we have lined up for the show. Anyway,
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: the point I was going to make was, actually, like
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: I said, I ascribed to the old school of radio
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: preparation for every hour you're on the air, you need
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: a minimum of two hours show prep. I put in
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: a minimum of two hours show prep every day. Usually
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: it's more like three to four, sometimes five hours. Depends
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: on the audio clips you're pulling and what we're doing.
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: And until recently, I've had very little help. I've just
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: done it on my own. There have been people that
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: have offered help, which is nice. But I've kind of
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: done it on my own. I do things my own way.
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: And I don't follow the Rush Limbaugh. He was the
- 1:07:36Speaker 5: old school, the stack of stuff. In my stack of stuff.
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: He had his big stack of papers. I don't. I
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: have a big stack of pixels on a computer right
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: in front of me. So it saves me. I'm saving
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: the environment. Anywho, so let's see. So instead of eight
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: hours a week, let's add an additional four hours per
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: prep time. That's six hours a day. It's really, we'll
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: say five. So all of a sudden that little short
- 1:08:03Speaker 5: work week turns out goes a little longer. And until
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: COVID hit, we generally had meetings on Fridays. So I
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: even worked on Fridays, even though I guess some people
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: don't believe you work if you're not on the radio.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: which most people aren't on the radio, so that makes
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: it a little weird. But I'm thankful to be here.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: The fact that you guys tune in and listen, and
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: I know a lot of you guys were listening to
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: Dan Patrick back in the day. You listened to Walt
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: Cunningham when he filled in here on the station. I
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: know Chris Salcedo, he did afternoons for a bit. And
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: at one point, I know Orlando Sanchez has filled in,
- 1:08:39Speaker 5: which by the way, I'm looking forward to voting for
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: him for Harris County judge. Maybe we can get rid
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: of the Harris County treasurer, Carla Wyatt, who thinks she
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: deserves a pay raise of $ 250, 000 or more. I mean,
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: real honestly, she deserves it. I mean, she was only
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: arrested three times in her first term, twice for drunk driving,
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: once for breaking into a vehicle. But other than that,
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: I mean, this is who the people of Harris County
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: are electing. This is Democrats in charge. Anyhow, if you
- 1:09:16Speaker 5: want to join us here in the second hour of
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: the program, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. A lot of the primaries were
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: last night. We discussed that in the first hour with
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: Curtis Hoke, managing editor of Newsbusters. If you missed it,
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: you can always go get that on the podcast here later.
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: It's posted wherever you get your podcasts. So there's that. Also,
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: you can always go watch the videos anywhere we stream
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: the videos. You can always watch that as well. So
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: we'll get to that. Trump, of course, called to prosecute
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: Alexander Vindman after he got smoked in Florida by a
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: DSA candidate that he outspent 36 to 1. $ 16. 2 million
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: and got smoked. Of course, he's got the personality of
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: a doormat and he's a total loser and he's a
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: jerk and a liar and he tried to take down
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: the president and he failed. The Senate battle is sort
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: of heating up, I guess. It's probably getting into the...
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: the actual late stretch, James Tallarico and Ken Paxton. They're
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: in a statistical dead heat. The latest poll out of
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Emerson College. Next Star Media has Paxton leading at 47
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: to 46. Paxton's finally been doing some news interviews. He's
- 1:10:27Speaker 5: been hitting the interview circuit, even though he hasn't really
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: been spending any money, trying to offset, you know, Tallarico
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: spending all of that outside of the state of Texas
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: money that millions of dollars have flowed in trying to— he' s
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: running a campaign against himself. So Paxton is finally going
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: on television and explaining to people— Hey, this guy isn't
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: who he says he is. You need to go back
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: and look at how he voted and what he said
- 1:10:49Speaker 5: when he served in the Texas House. And it is
- 1:10:52Speaker 5: a spoiler alert. It's the exact opposite of what he's
- 1:10:55Speaker 5: campaigning on now. But then again, when it comes to
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: polling there, an investigation of the U.S. Senate polling shows
- 1:11:02Speaker 5: 73 percent of survey surveys overstated the levels of support
- 1:11:06Speaker 5: for Democrats. So they overstate Democrat support. It's kind of
- 1:11:12Speaker 5: a pattern. been going on for the last four election
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: cycles that they studied it's been going on longer than
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: that and then okay so i want to hit on
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: this in in the only televised debate for south carolina's
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: republican u.s senate runoff seat uh the sister of lindsey
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: graham who unfortunately passed away here just was it a
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: month or so ago uh darlene graham nordone that's his
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: sister she was appointed to replace him now she's running
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: which i agreed with the appointment but now she's running
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: for the Senate seat in the Republican primary. And she
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: was asked about national security, at least how it goes
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: between Taiwan and the South China Sea. And her answer
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: was terrible. She was in a debate last night with Grant. Well,
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: it was Graham Nordone versus Representative Ralph Norman. And it
- 1:12:01Speaker 5: was filmed nationally on Newsmax. And I've got the audio.
- 1:12:04Speaker 5: I'm going to play this for you now and then
- 1:12:06Speaker 5: maybe get your take on it. Her answer was not good.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: I think she showed, well, we'll let you take a listen.
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: And not only do I have her answer, I've got
- 1:12:14Speaker 5: his as well. So you get to hear the two
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: candidates in contrast and kind of make, well, those in
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: South Carolina will make up their decision. We don't get
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: to vote in this election. But I think it's important
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: that we hold our candidates to a standard that the
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: Democrats won't hold their candidates to. All right, take a listen.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: This is a question from, oh, what's her name? They'll
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: usually be on Fox News. Anyway, take a listen. This
- 1:12:35Speaker 5: was the debate last night.
- 1:12:36Speaker 31: National security questions. Well, Senator, are Taiwan and the South
- 1:12:41Speaker 31: China Sea national security issues for the United States?
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: If so, why?
- 1:12:47Speaker 32: I'm sorry. Could you repeat the question?
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: OK, the answer is yes. I'm going to continue with
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: the audio. The answer is yes.
- 1:12:52Speaker 12: Why?
- 1:12:53Speaker 5: Because Taiwan. Wants to be independent and we don't want
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: them taken over by the communist Chinese. Simple as that.
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: Her answer wasn't quite as succinct.
- 1:13:03Speaker 31: Are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues
- 1:13:06Speaker 31: for the United States? And if so, why or how?
- 1:13:10Speaker 32: I'm just going to be honest here. I'm not on
- 1:13:12Speaker 32: national security that I'm not that informed on national security.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: So they heard audible gas from the current crowd. And
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: she's being honest. I give her credit for that.
- 1:13:23Speaker 32: But I do support the military. My brother was in
- 1:13:26Speaker 32: the Air Force for 33 years, so I will do
- 1:13:30Speaker 32: everything I can to support the military.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: I mean, of course you support the military. That's nice,
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: but it's not answering the question.
- 1:13:38Speaker 32: My dad was in the Army. I'm not a polished
- 1:13:40Speaker 32: politician up here. National security is not my thing, not
- 1:13:45Speaker 32: my area of expertise, but I do support the military.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: Okay, that's a very kind answer. but it's not the
- 1:13:51Speaker 5: right answer. You are the sitting senator for the state
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: of South Carolina. You're running in a Republican primary. Well,
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: here's what her opponent said.
- 1:14:02Speaker 31: Congressman, I'll give you a chance to respond, and I'm
- 1:14:05Speaker 31: sure he recognizes that.
- 1:14:06Speaker 33: Taiwan's a definite ally, and, you know, we have a
- 1:14:10Speaker 33: trading relationship with them that is beneficial to the United States,
- 1:14:14Speaker 33: chips being one of them, and others. So what the
- 1:14:17Speaker 33: president is doing right is he's enabling Taiwan to defend
- 1:14:21Speaker 33: themselves against China. But it's peace through strength that he's
- 1:14:24Speaker 33: showing with Iran that China, Russia, others are looking at
- 1:14:30Speaker 33: it so that they don't want to deal with America.
- 1:14:34Speaker 33: And that's why they haven't attacked Taiwan. If they had
- 1:14:37Speaker 33: some weak Democrat in office like Biden or another Obama, yeah,
- 1:14:42Speaker 33: they'd take it over. But we can't let that happen.
- 1:14:44Speaker 33: We've got to take a strong, a peace through strength
- 1:14:48Speaker 33: is working.
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: Now, I don't necessarily agree with everything that he said,
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: but that's a more political answer. That's a guy who's prepared.
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: She was not prepared for that answer, which tells me
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: she's probably not really prepared for that Senate seat. Once again,
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: I have no problem letting her finish out because it
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: was a very short amount of time. Let her finish
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: out because Lindsey Graham, he was very well versed on
- 1:15:09Speaker 5: foreign politics. I mean, he was clearly on the way. Obviously,
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: she's not. And the people of South Carolina will determine
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: who they like and then who will hopefully ultimately go
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: on to to hold that seat in the Senate. But
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: I think once again, Darlene just showed that she wasn't
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: ready for primetime, at least in my opinion. I don't
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: always like necessarily the canned, you know, political response, but
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: his response was fairly accurate. So we can weigh in
- 1:15:39Speaker 5: on that if you want to weigh in on that
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: as well. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Let's go and take a break.
- 1:15:46Speaker 5: We'll come back. We got Chris in spring. We got Allen,
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: West Houston. We got another open line or two if
- 1:15:50Speaker 5: you want to get in.
- 1:15:51Speaker 32: 281-558-5738.
- 1:15:52Speaker 5: And the thing is, is I really like Darlene, you know,
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: his sister. She seems really nice. And once again, I
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: didn't hate Lindsey Graham like some people do. That being said,
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: I don't want us to start holding our politicians. I
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: remember when AOC had an answer similar to that, how
- 1:16:12Speaker 5: she was crucified by our side. We should do that. Oh,
- 1:16:16Speaker 5: by the way, somebody just let me know. Yeah, Greta
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: Van Susteren was the one who asked the question. And
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: it was written right here in front of me in
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: that show prep that I do that I didn't even use.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: You should probably look at what I prepared for today's show.
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: All right, 281-558-KCB. We'll be right back.
- 1:16:35Speaker 11: Elections have consequences. So does your radio dial. Don't touch it.
- 1:16:40Speaker 11: Chris X Radio returns after this.
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: Hi, this is Louis Flory.

- 1:16:58Speaker 18: Do you need money? Want to lower your monthly debt?
- 1:17:01Speaker 18: Are you thinking about a cash-out refinance? Hi, it's Kathy
- 1:17:04Speaker 18: from Baker Mortgage. A cash-out refinance can get you back
- 1:17:08Speaker 18: in your comfort zone, and that's what it's all about.
- 1:17:11Speaker 18: A recent client who closed with us had his payment
- 1:17:13Speaker 18: go up about $ 300, but his monthly outgo was being
- 1:17:18Speaker 18: reduced by $ 1, 200, so giving him a net positive cash
- 1:17:21Speaker 18: flow of $ 900. It's not about adding debt, but restructuring
- 1:17:26Speaker 18: it in a way that makes sense. And this math
- 1:17:28Speaker 18: totally makes sense. And please don't sweat it if your
- 1:17:31Speaker 18: interest rate is going up a little or if you're
- 1:17:33Speaker 18: extending the term. I can show you by taking a
- 1:17:36Speaker 18: small amount of what you're saving monthly and applying it
- 1:17:39Speaker 18: towards your mortgage, you're going to pay it off just
- 1:17:42Speaker 18: as quickly and you'll be way ahead in the money game,
- 1:17:45Speaker 18: which is where we all want to be, right? Remember,

- 1:18:29Speaker 4: and see what they've been up to lately.
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: It's all coming up on the Chris Salcedo Show.

- 1:19:08Speaker 6: You change the oil in your car. You service your

- 1:19:57Speaker 5: This is one of those songs that never gets old.
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: It's Everlong by the Foo Fighters. Incredible song. Well-written. Dave
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: Grohl's talented. I was still so shocked that people got
- 1:20:08Speaker 5: upset that he ended up having an affair on his
- 1:20:12Speaker 5: wife and fathered a child outside of his marriage. And
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: they were like, well, I can't believe he did that.
- 1:20:17Speaker 5: I'm like, did anybody check if he was a rock star?
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: They're not exactly known for, well, would you say their
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: fidelity maybe or necessarily being a family man? They're rock stars.
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: They stay on the road most of the year. But
- 1:20:37Speaker 5: I guess everybody just thought Dave Rolls just seems like
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: such a nice guy. I'm sure he is a nice guy.
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: But I don't know. Did him and his wife end
- 1:20:44Speaker 5: up splitting up? I don't know. And maybe it'll cause
- 1:20:48Speaker 5: some stress and he'll start putting out more good music
- 1:20:50Speaker 5: because their music kind of has sucked as of late. Anyway,
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: all right, welcome back to Chris X Radio. I just
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: retweeted or re-x'd Senator Betancourt on Twitter. Anytime he posts something,
- 1:21:01Speaker 5: I try to— I don't always catch it, but I caught
- 1:21:04Speaker 5: this one, just saw it. He posted a taxpayer alert.
- 1:21:07Speaker 5: Harris County Commissioner's Court is considering the second largest property
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: tax increase in county history. His office released the calculations
- 1:21:15Speaker 5: of a $ 403, 000 homestead pays $ 188 or $ 220 more a year.
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: Basically 8.7 to 10.1% on what Lena Hidalgo, Rodney Ellis,
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: Adrian Garcia, and Leslie Briones want to raise your taxes.
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: They want to vote for. Either a five or six
- 1:21:33Speaker 5: penny rate hike. And the only one against it is
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: Tom Ramsey, the only Republican. He said, here's the kicker.
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: The largest ever property tax increase in Harris County occurred
- 1:21:42Speaker 5: in 2024 at $ 312. So just add the smaller $ 188
- 1:21:49Speaker 5: a year into 2026. That's a $ 500 a year baked
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: in county budget cost and leftist progressive overspending in your
- 1:21:58Speaker 5: home property tax bill. Now, Senator Betancourt was a former
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: tax guy. He's the tax man. He knows these numbers.
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: He's never wrong on these numbers. He said, oh, appraisal
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: increases only count for about 2% of the hike. It's
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: the popping brutal five to six penny voted tax rate
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: increase that slams homeowners and businesses. That was why when
- 1:22:22Speaker 5: my brother asked me if I would consider building a
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: house in Harris County, I'm like, no, not until we get,
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: not unless we get Republicans back in control. Nope, not
- 1:22:32Speaker 5: even a chance. All right, so let's go to the
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: phone calls. Like I said, I kind of tied that
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: in with, are we going to put a Democrat in
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: charge of the state now? That would be horrible. And
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: then you got— the other thing I tied it in with
- 1:22:48Speaker 5: was Harris County Treasurer Carla Wyatt, who's been arrested three
- 1:22:51Speaker 5: times in her first term, twice for drunken driving and
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: once for breaking into a woman's car and trying to
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: steal something out of it. She wants a 79 percent
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: raise over her current salary of $ 139, 547, basically a $ 250, 000
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: raise for a criminal— who continues to break the law
- 1:23:13Speaker 5: and then wants to be reelected to continue serving herself
- 1:23:17Speaker 5: at the taxpayer dollars of Harris County. Is that why
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: the commissioners want to keep jacking our rates? Because they
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: spend money on stupid things like that to pay criminals
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: and whatever else other than providing services to the citizens
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: of Harris County? It's ridiculous. Anyway, 281-558-KSEV. Let's go ahead
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: and get some phone calls in as we get rolling.
- 1:23:39Speaker 5: Let's go to Chris listening in spring. Chris, thank you
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio. Hey, buddy.
- 1:23:44Speaker 8: Yeah, that's pretty depressing to hear that. And the voters
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: of Harris County will put their heads in the sand
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: and keep allowing this nonsense to happen until we're all insolvent.
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: But I didn't want to dwell on the idiocy of
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: Democrats in the city. But, you know, Ken Paxton... I
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: know he's probably under the impression or he knows that
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: Trump's got a big, big war chest for the midterms.
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: I'm assuming there's some kind of agreement there that he's
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: going to come in and pump up the funds a
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: little bit because I don't see the urgency there, but
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: I think Trump sees it. I think there's got to
- 1:24:22Speaker 8: be something there where he's going to start running some
- 1:24:25Speaker 8: ads here at a greater pace.
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: What do you think? You know, I think you may
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: be right. I think what happened was on the national scale,
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: they just couldn't believe that someone like Tallarico could actually
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: run a campaign with all this money he's getting in
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: from out of state and actually convince a bunch of ill-informed,
- 1:24:41Speaker 5: low-information voters that he's a moderate and he fits here
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: in Texas. And they sort of got caught flat-footed. So
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: I think they're a little late to the show, plus
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: considering the late runoff with Cornyn and paxton so maybe
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: they're getting in i know they're going to be doing
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: a big fundraiser in september for ken paxton here in
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: texas the president's going to attend so hopefully they'll start
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: taking some of that money and spending it to offset
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: all this advertising by uh by talafrico and get things
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: back in order and once again looking at the the
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: polls now starting to shift a little bit make you
- 1:25:12Speaker 5: know with with paxton doing the the media rounds may
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: show that uh like i said this thing isn't over
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: yet and there still is clearly a a good chance.
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: And I think with a little money poured in and
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: I'm hoping the president sees that and, and the rest
- 1:25:24Speaker 5: of them see this and people continue to put a
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: little money in his coffers and let them start spending
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: a little bit to offset that Democrat advertising.
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: Also another depressing news, uh, city of Houston homeowners, you know,
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: within the city, you get a water bill from the city. Uh,
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: you might want to call a lawyer that they're there.
- 1:25:42Speaker 8: They have a meter issue reading problem. Uh, we have
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: a We have a portfolio with a 2,400-square-foot townhome. They
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: called me yesterday. They said, we have a meter showing 45,000
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: gallons of water being used. The house is vacant. There's
- 1:26:02Speaker 8: no leaks nowhere. Please be vigilant, people. You don't have
- 1:26:05Speaker 8: to take this. Thank you, buddy.
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: Thank you for the call, Chris. First of all, that's insane.
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: That is as bad as the bill that when I
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: used to live over in Bear Creek is the bill
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: that I got from the city. A water bill after
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: we got flooded and had six feet of water in
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: my home for 10 days. I got a 200 and
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: something dollar bill claiming that I ran all this. And
- 1:26:27Speaker 5: I said, the house has been vacant. There's no one
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: in it. You can't live in it. It got flooded
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: in the worst. And they were the city of Houston
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: couldn't have cared any less. They just wanted the money. So,
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: of course, I canceled it. And then I ended up
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: selling the home and leaving. And so I took a
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: huge loss in multiple areas. But once again, that's a
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: similar thing. The other thing to check if the house
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: that you have has been vacant and no one is
- 1:26:49Speaker 5: in there. Also check that I've learned I got a
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: hundred dollar bill here after the big freeze because my
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: water main broke. underneath the three feet underground now if
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: it breaks on our side in my yard then it's
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: my responsibility and as water poured out now it wasn't
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: obviously to the level but it flooded the area of
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: course i saw that the water i got a wet
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: spot in the yard i went okay I got to
- 1:27:14Speaker 5: go check this. And then, of course, we ended up
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: digging it up. And, you know, so figured it out.
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: Got to take it. But it still cost me about $ 110.
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: But that was from a water main break. And with
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: this hot summer now that we're in the hot heat,
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: that's a possibility as well. But I probably tend to
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: agree with what you were saying. It's probably just mismanagement
- 1:27:33Speaker 5: on the city, a misreading. You just name it. It
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: was funny. I remember arguing with the city on my
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: previous home was like, hey, no one's in here. And
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: I'm looking at this meter and it's not moving at all.
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: So I'm trying to figure out how the hell it's
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: this has happened when we got flooded. We had more
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: water than I'm pretty sure what you're saying. Basically, I
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: caused the flood because of all the water that I
- 1:27:54Speaker 5: was running that I just flooded the entire city of
- 1:27:56Speaker 5: Houston with. And they once again, you're just dealing with
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: city bureaucrats, Democrats that don't care one bit. So I
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: feel your pain. Felt it a couple of times. By
- 1:28:12Speaker 5: the way, once again, after I got flooded over here
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: at my new home, which we're on a, my water
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: bill is about $ 36 a month. Sometimes it'll go up
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: to 40. It's not too bad. But when that occurred,
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: when the water main broke, of course, I dug it
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: up and dug the pipe and saw that it had broken,
- 1:28:27Speaker 5: was leaking. And I'm like, OK, so what am I
- 1:28:30Speaker 5: going to do here? And I just sort of wrapped
- 1:28:32Speaker 5: it up so it wouldn't leak as bad until and
- 1:28:35Speaker 5: then my brother, my younger brother, God bless him. He
- 1:28:37Speaker 5: came over because that was when remember after the. freeze
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: all of those homes in houston that were vacant all
- 1:28:43Speaker 5: their pipes bursted you couldn't get plumbing materials you couldn't
- 1:28:47Speaker 5: get a plumber there to save your life And my
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: brother came over and was upside down in a hole
- 1:28:52Speaker 5: for about six or eight hours trying to fix it.
- 1:28:55Speaker 5: And he came close, but he couldn't fix it entirely
- 1:28:59Speaker 5: because of lack of materials and things that we had.
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: And then my older brother, who was a contractor, sent
- 1:29:04Speaker 5: one of his guys out, and he fixed it in
- 1:29:06Speaker 5: about 30 minutes. But then again, he had all the
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: proper tools. This guy does that. But I don't know
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: how much money my brother saved me. And then, of course,
- 1:29:14Speaker 5: my other brother saved me. So Castle Blaney Construction, oh, man.
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: They've saved me with that. Then, of course, also getting
- 1:29:23Speaker 5: the AC here. My electric bill would be a gazillion
- 1:29:26Speaker 5: dollars a month if I didn't have the split unit
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: here in Studio X. I got to keep my... Oh, sorry.
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: It's on this side. My Xenomorph. He's leaning over the couch,
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: keeping in watch on things. If you watch the videos
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: on social media, you can see him back there. He's
- 1:29:45Speaker 5: keeping a watch on things. If I did not have...
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: the split unit keeping things cool in this room because
- 1:29:51Speaker 5: this room's on the corner of the house where it
- 1:29:52Speaker 5: gets all the sun this time of the afternoon and
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: it is hot there was one summer back before the
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: rates went through the roof where i ran i was
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: having to put the ac down at like 70 degrees
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: and it was still warm in this room i went
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: okay i can't do that there's no way i could
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: afford that Needless to say, my bills have gone down
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: since we added the unit. So thank God for that. Okay,
- 1:30:15Speaker 5: let's take a break. If you want to join us,
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: you want to get in behind Al. Al, hold on

- 1:34:06Speaker 11: Chris X Radio.
- 1:34:23Speaker 5: A little King's X action. Still so funny, King's X
- 1:34:27Speaker 5: back in the 90s, and somehow I became Chris X.
- 1:34:31Speaker 5: I still don't understand how all this happened. It doesn't
- 1:34:33Speaker 5: make any sense. Welcome back to Chris X Radio. I'm
- 1:34:36Speaker 5: the aforementioned X-Man. Glad to have you here with us
- 1:34:39Speaker 5: on the final two segments of today's program, the Hump
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: Day edition. It is Wednesday. We'll wrap up here at
- 1:34:44Speaker 5: 6 p.m. and then turn back over to the regularly
- 1:34:47Speaker 5: scheduled broadcast of KSCV Radio. We will relinquish control. We've
- 1:34:52Speaker 5: taken over control as we do each Monday through Thursday
- 1:34:56Speaker 5: from 4 to 6 p.m. We'll do our Friday show
- 1:34:59Speaker 5: on Thursday, which is tomorrow, because the Amigos take over
- 1:35:02Speaker 5: on Fridays. So we got to do our Friday show
- 1:35:05Speaker 5: 24 hours ahead of everybody else. And we get that done,
- 1:35:08Speaker 5: have a good time, kick off the weekend ahead of
- 1:35:10Speaker 5: everybody else, and then I just go get drunk. Anyone
- 1:35:14Speaker 5: who knows me knows that. Don't just go get drunk.
- 1:35:17Speaker 5: Unless you can get drunk on eating. Unless you can
- 1:35:19Speaker 5: eat cheeseburgers and get drunk. Can you get drunk by
- 1:35:22Speaker 5: eating cheeseburgers, Lucas? Is that possible?
- 1:35:25Speaker 29: It's called burger drunk.
- 1:35:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:35:28Speaker 5: What's funny is I got to give Dr. Nick Camerata
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: credit for this one. We were talking about you. We
- 1:35:36Speaker 5: were doing celebrations back when I did marketing for It
- 1:35:39Speaker 5: was Camerata Family Dental, but before they became Camerata Family Dental.
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: And it was a birthday celebration. He was talking about,
- 1:35:45Speaker 5: we're all going to go get wasted. And Chris X
- 1:35:48Speaker 5: is going to get Diet Coke wasted. And now it's
- 1:35:52Speaker 5: Coke Zero wasted. If I can find Coke Zero, I'll
- 1:35:55Speaker 5: get that instead. I do like Coke Zero. So there
- 1:35:59Speaker 5: you go. That or iced tea wasted. Okay, I'll drink
- 1:36:01Speaker 5: iced tea. By the way, last night I ended up
- 1:36:05Speaker 5: going and eating ice cream at like 1230 at night.
- 1:36:08Speaker 5: We had seafood for dinner last night, which was good.
- 1:36:11Speaker 5: I don't eat very often. But for some reason, I
- 1:36:14Speaker 5: was craving ice cream. I was craving it the night
- 1:36:15Speaker 5: before and didn't have any. And then all of a sudden,
- 1:36:17Speaker 5: I'm like, I don't have any ice cream at home.
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: So I did a quick search and I found Midnight
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: Dreams over off Spring Cypress that is open to like
- 1:36:27Speaker 5: two o'clock in the morning, according to maps on the
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: map function on my phone so we went over there
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: and ate ice cream it was good but way too
- 1:36:35Speaker 5: much sugar i can't handle that much sugar anymore when
- 1:36:38Speaker 5: i was a kid i used to love that man
- 1:36:40Speaker 5: no i can eat like a small blizzard from dairy
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: queen that pretty much pretty much does me in at
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: that point all right let's go to the phones 281-558-KSCV
- 1:36:52Speaker 5: 281-558-5738 we got al hanging on in west houston al
- 1:36:54Speaker 5: thank you for hanging on welcome to chris x radio.
- 1:36:58Speaker 10: Chris, I appreciate your thinking about it and all. I
- 1:37:02Speaker 10: got a question or three. I don't have Internet access,
- 1:37:05Speaker 10: but if you had to pick some of the major
- 1:37:08Speaker 10: things that Attorney General Ken Paxson did on behalf of
- 1:37:12Speaker 10: the state of Texas, would you know some or would
- 1:37:15Speaker 10: you have to do some of that research you were
- 1:37:17Speaker 10: saying earlier?
- 1:37:19Speaker 5: Well, a little of both. He just went through and
- 1:37:21Speaker 5: forced the cities here in Texas, in fact, was over
- 1:37:25Speaker 5: 100 cities or 100 counties or whatever it is, forced
- 1:37:28Speaker 5: them to allow to not allow their commissioners court to
- 1:37:33Speaker 5: pass tax hikes on the people without allowing them to
- 1:37:36Speaker 5: vote for it. So I'm a big fan of that.
- 1:37:38Speaker 5: so making them force the people to vote for a
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: tax hike. That's one of the most recent. He's fought
- 1:37:43Speaker 5: the Obama administration and the Biden administration on so many
- 1:37:49Speaker 5: different things. I would have to look up those just
- 1:37:51Speaker 5: to give you a sign, but so many of those
- 1:37:54Speaker 5: in one. He's been by far the most successful attorney
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: general suing the federal government by their overreach, and that
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: includes the Texas border. Remember, one of those was fighting
- 1:38:05Speaker 5: to put up um to stop the people coming into
- 1:38:07Speaker 5: that what was it was a park i can't remember
- 1:38:09Speaker 5: the park area over near the border and he fought
- 1:38:13Speaker 5: the governor the federal government on that and won so
- 1:38:16Speaker 5: now he is he has defeated the federal government far
- 1:38:19Speaker 5: more than any other attorney general in the nation's history
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: as far as also in texas history he has been
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: hands down the most successful attorney general in the state's
- 1:38:28Speaker 5: history and i guess i could if if I if
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: I have time, I can just go ahead and just
- 1:38:32Speaker 5: pull up a list of his his wins and then
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: bring those up. But and he's still to this day,
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: he's still working as attorney general, staying busy, something that
- 1:38:40Speaker 5: so many of these other politicians don't do whenever they're
- 1:38:44Speaker 5: running for another position. So I give him credit for that, too.
- 1:38:48Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah. I know that he's been a very successful
- 1:38:53Speaker 10: attorney against the United States, and I just didn't know
- 1:38:57Speaker 10: that example. And I'd forgotten about that one that you
- 1:38:59Speaker 10: just said, the people not allowing the counties to raise
- 1:39:05Speaker 10: taxes without the occupants of the county having a say
- 1:39:09Speaker 10: in it. But that's what's so great about him is
- 1:39:12Speaker 10: he is a He doesn't misrepresent what he has done.
- 1:39:19Speaker 10: He may not beat on his chest as much as
- 1:39:22Speaker 10: he probably needs to about it, but he has been
- 1:39:26Speaker 10: a really, really strong attorney for the state of Texas.
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: No, he really has been. I'm looking at just his
- 1:39:33Speaker 5: Twitter site. Another win. Major brands have removed the harmful
- 1:39:36Speaker 5: dyes from cereals served in schools after historic settlements with
- 1:39:40Speaker 5: the attorney general's office here in the state of Texas.
- 1:39:42Speaker 5: So there's that. That's another one. And once again, he
- 1:39:46Speaker 5: appealed the Massachusetts court order that unlawfully blocks enforcement of
- 1:39:49Speaker 5: Texas consumer protections against Act Blue, a Democrat organization. That's
- 1:39:54Speaker 5: another one. There's so many of them, it is impossible
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: to keep up with all of them. But it's like
- 1:39:59Speaker 5: I said, it's good to know. And you're right, probably
- 1:40:00Speaker 5: good to cover it. Once in a while to remind
- 1:40:02Speaker 5: people what he's done as the attorney general. He's been
- 1:40:05Speaker 5: very effective, done a really good job and been reelected.
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: What was it? I think four times at the state
- 1:40:10Speaker 5: level here in the state of Texas. So he's been
- 1:40:13Speaker 5: he's historically done really, really well. And that's what makes
- 1:40:17Speaker 5: it so disheartening watching this. This weirdo, you know, Tallarico,
- 1:40:21Speaker 5: get all this money from outside of state running a
- 1:40:23Speaker 5: campaign against himself, parading around as a moderate, thinking that
- 1:40:27Speaker 5: people have a legitimate chance at voting for someone who
- 1:40:29Speaker 5: would actually represents Texas values. He's not so much.
- 1:40:35Speaker 10: Our Texas, our Texan voters are smart, Chris. All these
- 1:40:39Speaker 10: polls and everything, they're going to turn out to be incorrect.
- 1:40:42Speaker 10: We're going to we're going to get Ken Paxton in
- 1:40:45Speaker 10: into in for the senator.
- 1:40:47Speaker 5: Well, thank you for the call, Al. I hope so.
- 1:40:49Speaker 5: And I guess if I was going to ask you
- 1:40:50Speaker 5: a final question, which I don't really need to, what's
- 1:40:53Speaker 5: the weather like back there in the 1800s without Internet?
- 1:40:58Speaker 5: I'm just kidding, Al. Just giving you a hard time. But, yeah,
- 1:41:04Speaker 5: like I said, the Internet is a good resource. but
- 1:41:08Speaker 5: literally just kind of scrolling down, looking at some of
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: his wins. And when you go back to the Biden era,
- 1:41:13Speaker 5: it was amazing what all he was done. What's funny,
- 1:41:17Speaker 5: so you watch Ken Paxton, who's trying to run a
- 1:41:19Speaker 5: campaign literally on his record. of what he's done in
- 1:41:22Speaker 5: elected office and then you get this other guy who's
- 1:41:25Speaker 5: running a campaign against everything that he's done in elected
- 1:41:28Speaker 5: office and trying to pretend that he's actually this moderate
- 1:41:31Speaker 5: now this is a trick that is constant among democrats
- 1:41:35Speaker 5: democrats are radical leftist marxist They lie when they campaign.
- 1:41:39Speaker 5: They pretend to be moderate. And then they get in
- 1:41:42Speaker 5: and go right back to being the radical leftist moderate. Oh,
- 1:41:47Speaker 5: election integrity and preventing voter fraud. Ken Baxton just got
- 1:41:51Speaker 5: a big win on that with the Fifth Circuit. So
- 1:41:55Speaker 5: that's a big one. I mean, so he got an
- 1:41:58Speaker 5: emergency court order ensuring that baby Gabriel receives life-saving care
- 1:42:01Speaker 5: here in Texas. I don't know if you're familiar with
- 1:42:03Speaker 5: that story. The woman that was, they were, basically it
- 1:42:07Speaker 5: was a surrogate mother and they found out that the
- 1:42:10Speaker 5: baby's going to have, could have some health issues. So
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: the parents who hired the surrogate mother wanted to abort
- 1:42:15Speaker 5: the baby. And this is at the last minute, literally
- 1:42:18Speaker 5: in the last month while she had the baby. So
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: they're doing that. While Tallarico voted three times to, uh,
- 1:42:26Speaker 5: You know, facilitate the release of pedophiles from prison. Well, Texas,
- 1:42:30Speaker 5: Ken Paxton, but none different. One of the things, another
- 1:42:33Speaker 5: thing too, while allowing in Texas only women to participate
- 1:42:37Speaker 5: in women's sports. We've done that. The trans movement, making
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: it illegal to be, you know, to try to perform
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: trans surgery or trans procedures on underage children. Something that Mr.
- 1:42:48Speaker 5: Tallarico has been all for until now. Now he's not
- 1:42:51Speaker 5: for it because he's running in the general. But he
- 1:42:53Speaker 5: was all for it before. No, he was totally for it.
- 1:42:56Speaker 5: He's for it. He's all for it. It's just incredible
- 1:43:04Speaker 5: watching what the Democrats actually stand for. And then watching
- 1:43:07Speaker 5: how they campaign when they're running. Anyway, I'm glad that
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: once again, Paxton is now doing the circuit. He's getting
- 1:43:13Speaker 5: on these talk shows, which he's needed to have done
- 1:43:16Speaker 5: for a while. But you got to remember, he had
- 1:43:18Speaker 5: a three-month, Talafrico had a three-month head start. He won
- 1:43:22Speaker 5: his Like I said, his primary outright, they kind of
- 1:43:28Speaker 5: they shoved Miss Crockett aside and opened the door for Talafrico.
- 1:43:33Speaker 5: And now he's having a tough time with black voters,
- 1:43:35Speaker 5: but also getting her support. But nonetheless, he still got
- 1:43:40Speaker 5: doesn't matter. The Democrats are going to vote for him regardless.
- 1:43:42Speaker 5: They're fighting for those moderates and independents who don't really
- 1:43:44Speaker 5: know what he's done, what he's saying for what he's
- 1:43:47Speaker 5: been saying. He's voted against securing our border. He voted
- 1:43:50Speaker 5: for higher taxes. He voted against protecting girls' sports from
- 1:43:54Speaker 5: quote-unquote trans men. He's attacked the oil and gas industry.
- 1:43:59Speaker 5: He's literally attacked everything that Texans care about. And he's
- 1:44:04Speaker 5: running a campaign against it. It's kind of strange. Remember
- 1:44:10Speaker 5: that audio played? He said we should have a welcome
- 1:44:12Speaker 5: mat at our southern border. But now he's for border security.
- 1:44:17Speaker 5: He loves the trans children, but now he's not for
- 1:44:18Speaker 5: transing children. No, no, there are more than two sexes.
- 1:44:21Speaker 5: There are six sexes. Well, no, no, no. There's only
- 1:44:25Speaker 5: two now. The guy's all over the place. And once again,
- 1:44:31Speaker 5: the only problem is, like I said, Ken Paxton hadn't
- 1:44:34Speaker 5: had the money to go through once again finishing up
- 1:44:37Speaker 5: the battle with John Cornyn, whose lead guy, well, not
- 1:44:42Speaker 5: lead guy, a member of his staff has moved over
- 1:44:44Speaker 5: to Tallarico. There's a photo that Ted Cruz just posted. Well,
- 1:44:50Speaker 5: he had posted earlier today. He joined a far-left climate
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: control action rally for oil-free future on April 8th, 2021.
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: He was touting his Green New Deal bill, which would
- 1:45:01Speaker 5: require the state to cut its carbon emissions by half
- 1:45:04Speaker 5: by 2030 and by 90% by 2050. That's how he's done.
- 1:45:07Speaker 5: That's how he is.
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:17Speaker 5: All right, let's take a break. We'll come back and
- 1:45:18Speaker 5: wrap up the show. Thanks for the call. I appreciate
- 1:45:20Speaker 5: you calling. What did you call us on, Al? Was
- 1:45:23Speaker 5: it a phone or was it a can with string?
- 1:45:26Speaker 5: I'm kidding. I met Al. I remember Al meeting him
- 1:45:29Speaker 5: at the Pete's party. Super nice guy. But he doesn't
- 1:45:33Speaker 5: have internet, so I got to give him a hard time.
- 1:45:35Speaker 5: How's the weather back in the late 1800s? Is it
- 1:45:39Speaker 5: this hot back in the 1800s? This is pretty damn hot. Man,
- 1:45:43Speaker 5: 100 degrees over here. I'm tired of the heat. But
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: I'm assuming it was. This is Texas. But they didn't
- 1:45:53Speaker 5: have internet. They didn't have cell phones. So I'm assuming
- 1:45:56Speaker 5: he had a pretty good connection. So I think he
- 1:45:59Speaker 5: probably called us on one of those old dial-up phones
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: where you have the earpiece and then you have the
- 1:46:02Speaker 5: thing that you hold and you talk to. All right, 281-558-KSUB.
- 1:46:08Speaker 5: We'll come back and wrap up today's show.
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: Don't go away. The resistance is futile. Chris X Radio.

- 1:48:21Speaker 3: Doors, no one knows more.
- 1:48:23Speaker 5: Than the doctor.
- 1:48:24Speaker 27: Garage door doctor.
- 1:48:26Speaker 3: We got a call late New Year's Eve.
- 1:48:28Speaker 6: A father with big plans for his family the next
- 1:48:30Speaker 6: day said his garage door spring just snapped. He couldn't
- 1:48:33Speaker 6: get his car out and wouldn't be able to get
- 1:48:35Speaker 6: his family to where they needed to go. He felt
- 1:48:37Speaker 6: stuck and alone. So we showed up fast with the
- 1:48:40Speaker 6: right spring and the right parts to fix it right.
- 1:48:42Speaker 6: We didn't talk about the price. We didn't wait till
- 1:48:44Speaker 6: the morning.
- 1:48:45Speaker 5: We fixed it right then.
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: Because at Garage Door Doctor, it's never just about the job.
- 1:48:50Speaker 6: It's about the person behind it. The dad, the veteran,
- 1:48:53Speaker 6: the grandpa, the neighbor. Hi, I'm Tommy Mello, owner of
- 1:48:56Speaker 6: Garage Door Doctor. When you need help, we're the.

- 1:49:10Speaker 11: When it comes to.
- 1:49:11Speaker 5: Garage doors, no one knows more than the doctor.
- 1:49:19Speaker 11: And now back to Chris X radio on the voice
- 1:49:22Speaker 11: of Texas.
- 1:49:23Speaker 21: This album still seems.
- 1:49:25Speaker 23: New to me and it's old.
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: This is back late eighties.
- 1:49:33Speaker 5: I think 30, 40 years old. But it has a,
- 1:49:47Speaker 5: I remember this is where they embraced that very wet sound.
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: And the drummer only had one arm, by the way,
- 1:49:53Speaker 5: which they gave him that electronic kit. Guy learned how
- 1:49:56Speaker 5: to play it great. That is dedication. But no, I
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: like this song. I like Animal from this album. Was
- 1:50:07Speaker 5: it Rocket? I think it was a song. I can't remember.
- 1:50:10Speaker 5: By the way, I was talking about ZZ Top yesterday.
- 1:50:12Speaker 5: You know, we lost Frank Beard. He passed away. And
- 1:50:14Speaker 5: I was talking about the Eliminator album, but then there
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: was another album that came out after that that had
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: some hits on it, some of the hits, I think,
- 1:50:20Speaker 5: that Lucas was playing yesterday. So I can't think of
- 1:50:24Speaker 5: the name of the other album, but it was a
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: good one. I mean, like I said, they were hit
- 1:50:28Speaker 5: machine through the 70s and 80s. Anyway, welcome back to
- 1:50:31Speaker 5: Chris X Radio. You've reached the final segment of the program.
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: We're going to go to the phones here and wrap
- 1:50:35Speaker 5: things up before we run out of time, and then
- 1:50:37Speaker 5: we'll be back tomorrow for our Friday show on Thursday.
- 1:50:41Speaker 5: That's right. We'll kick off the weekend 24 hours ahead
- 1:50:44Speaker 5: of everybody else. So we'll have some fun tomorrow, which
- 1:50:46Speaker 5: is what we try to typically do on our Friday
- 1:50:48Speaker 5: show on Thursday is we try to get you warmed
- 1:50:50Speaker 5: up for Friday's Amigos program as they take over from
- 1:50:54Speaker 5: 4 to 6 every Friday here on The Voice of Texas.
- 1:50:57Speaker 5: All right, let's go ahead and go to the phones
- 1:50:58Speaker 5: here before we run out of time. Pick up with
- 1:50:59Speaker 5: Jimmy X squared to the second power. Jimmy, thank you
- 1:51:03Speaker 5: for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:51:06Speaker 29: Thank you, my friend. Keep up the good work. And
- 1:51:08Speaker 29: don't forget that Paxton won the buoy battle with the
- 1:51:12Speaker 29: Department of Justice against Biden when they wanted us to
- 1:51:15Speaker 29: pull the buoys out of the Rio Grande to keep
- 1:51:18Speaker 29: people from swimming across.
- 1:51:20Speaker 5: Yep. I think that was sort of right there in
- 1:51:22Speaker 5: tandem with that park that they were– We kicked the
- 1:51:26Speaker 5: feds out and we took over, so it was right
- 1:51:27Speaker 5: in tandem. You're absolutely right.
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:51:30Speaker 29: What I wanted to say was there is going to
- 1:51:32Speaker 29: be September the 21st, an evening with Ken Paxton and
- 1:51:37Speaker 29: Ted Cruz at Glorious Way Church, September the 21st. It's
- 1:51:41Speaker 29: called an afternoon with them, and it's from 2.30 to 4.30.
- 1:51:45Speaker 29: It's sponsored by the Cypress Republicans. Tickets will sell out
- 1:51:50Speaker 29: fast because it's– Limited seating, so if you're interested in
- 1:51:56Speaker 29: hearing them, speaking to them, meeting them, it's going to
- 1:52:00Speaker 29: be a great thing. More and more churches, I hope,
- 1:52:03Speaker 29: are going to open up and take a stand because
- 1:52:08Speaker 29: it's one of those things where the IRS really can
- 1:52:13Speaker 29: only do what you allow them to do when it
- 1:52:15Speaker 29: comes to your status because as a church, God established
- 1:52:19Speaker 29: that privilege, not the government. just my point of view.
- 1:52:23Speaker 5: Well, the Democrats always campaign in the black churches. They
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: do it, and then the black churches go, and that's
- 1:52:28Speaker 5: how they rally the black vote. So absolutely, you got
- 1:52:30Speaker 5: to go and offset it. I do believe that is
- 1:52:32Speaker 5: a Monday afternoon, so thanks a lot. Why Ken Paxton
- 1:52:36Speaker 5: didn't check with me first, I have to do the
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: radio show. Maybe we'll do a live broadcast from there.
- 1:52:41Speaker 5: That'd be fun.
- 1:52:42Speaker 29: Well, I might call in from there. You never can tell.
- 1:52:46Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, if you're there, absolutely call in. I'd love
- 1:52:48Speaker 5: to hear the turnout and sort of How it goes.
- 1:52:51Speaker 29: I'm already registered, my friend. I'm already registered.
- 1:52:54Speaker 5: I've been to Glorious Way Church a few times. Love
- 1:52:57Speaker 5: the pastor over there. He's a super nice guy. Very
- 1:53:00Speaker 5: smart guy. He's my God votes. James Buntrock. Great guy.
- 1:53:04Speaker 5: And I've been to a few events over there. So, no,
- 1:53:06Speaker 5: thank you for the update on that. And we'll try
- 1:53:07Speaker 5: to let people know more.
- 1:53:08Speaker 29: And he just, by the way, got selected as the
- 1:53:11Speaker 29: chaplain for the Republican Committee for Texas.
- 1:53:16Speaker 5: Oh, that's awesome. All right, well, thanks for the call, Jimmy.
- 1:53:17Speaker 5: We're out of time. Yeah, that's very cool. James is
- 1:53:21Speaker 5: a really good dude. It was so funny. I remember
- 1:53:23Speaker 5: I went to go eat after attending an event over there,
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: and I saw him at Willie's Ice House and Grill
- 1:53:30Speaker 5: or whatever. And he was in there, and he was wearing, like,
- 1:53:32Speaker 5: shorts and a T-shirt. And he walked up and was like, hey.
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: And I looked at him. I was like, I recognize
- 1:53:36Speaker 5: your face, but I don't know who you are. And
- 1:53:37Speaker 5: he goes, I'm James Buntrock. And I was like, I
- 1:53:40Speaker 5: don't recognize you wearing clothes. Wearing like normal clothes. I
- 1:53:44Speaker 5: had always seen him in a suit, so it sort
- 1:53:46Speaker 5: of threw me off. All right, gang, we're done. We're
- 1:53:48Speaker 5: out of time. We'll see you tomorrow for our Friday
- 1:53:50Speaker 5: show on Thursday.
