- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more of the Mark Simoon show on w r Hey,
- 0:07Speaker 1: we'll get to the mayoral race in just second, we'll
- 0:11Speaker 1: get to Boston Blue. We'll get to the shutdown and
- 0:16Speaker 1: all of that coming out. Hey, the No Kings whatever
- 0:18Speaker 1: it was march rally, I don't know if you call
- 0:20Speaker 1: them march. I mean, they were all one hundred years old.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It's not a march that seems like they just emptied
- 0:25Speaker 1: out the senior citizen homes for this thing. It was
- 0:28Speaker 1: heavily funded by oligarchs. Oligarchs paid for the no Kings thing.
- 0:33Speaker 1: If you want to see the list of who paid
- 0:34Speaker 1: for it, go to my Twitter, Mark Simone Ny at Twitter.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You'll see the actual chart up there. Who financed this
- 0:42Speaker 1: no Kings thing. It should have been called the no Point.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It wasn't about kings. There's no King, of course. It
- 0:49Speaker 1: was just a Trump derangement syndrome march, and you know,
- 0:54Speaker 1: and everybody wondering, they're looking at the pictures and why
- 0:56Speaker 1: are they all so old. It's like the oldest crowd.
- 1:01Speaker 1: These are all the late sixties, early seventies hippies that
- 1:04Speaker 1: were marching back then. This is then, and again it's
- 1:08Speaker 1: not a no Kings thing has nothing to do with Kings.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It was strictly a Trump arrangement syndrome. Rally Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 1:16Speaker 1: And the funniest thing, if you want to see how
- 1:17Speaker 1: corrupt the media is, if Donald Trump says anything, they
- 1:22Speaker 1: throw in this spray. President Trump claimed without evidence the Bubba.
- 1:26Speaker 1: And if he tells you how big the crowd was
- 1:28Speaker 1: it is inauguration, they fact check him to death. Well,
- 1:31Speaker 1: when it comes to this No Kings, you may have
- 1:33Speaker 1: heard the figure seven million. It turns out that figure
- 1:36Speaker 1: is absolutely false. It was more like one million, maybe
- 1:40Speaker 1: maybe it might have even been under one million. There
- 1:42Speaker 1: were no seven million at the No Kings. Where did
- 1:45Speaker 1: they get that crazy figure from the event organizers? You'll
- 1:48Speaker 1: see don't you say that on the news if you're
- 1:50Speaker 1: watch an, MSNBC or the New York Times seven million
- 1:53Speaker 1: attended according to the organizers. Since when do you trust
- 1:57Speaker 1: the organizer to tell you? How come when I've told
- 2:00Speaker 1: you how many people were at the inauguration, you didn't
- 2:02Speaker 1: take his word for it. You went and fact checked
- 2:04Speaker 1: it yourself. The way you get crowd size, you talk
- 2:07Speaker 1: to local officials, local police. They have people there that
- 2:09Speaker 1: are experts at estimating crowd size. You don't ask the
- 2:13Speaker 1: organizer to tell you. But this is how corrupt the
- 2:16Speaker 1: media is. They all, every one of them, every anchor,
- 2:19Speaker 1: every net seven million, according to the organizers. They just
- 2:23Speaker 1: took that like that's like that's a fact. So a
- 2:27Speaker 1: shutdown continues. They were going to have a vote today.
- 2:31Speaker 1: What does it mean with the shut That means every
- 2:33Speaker 1: day you got to watch Chuck Schumer, I like the
- 2:36Speaker 1: big glasses now instead of the little Ben Franklin, like
- 2:38Speaker 1: a big clunky swift Delasar kind of glasses on and
- 2:44Speaker 1: he goes in every day and he makes that makes
- 2:48Speaker 1: that same speech about everybody's going to die, people are
- 2:51Speaker 1: going to starve, everybody's going to die, everybody's every day.
- 2:56Speaker 1: All you got to do is vote for the It's
- 2:58Speaker 1: called the clean They got all these stupid terms they
- 3:02Speaker 1: use a Clayton cr It just means you can sign
- 3:05Speaker 1: an extension, the seven day extension of three weeks. It
- 3:08Speaker 1: makes sense you do this anywhere else. You sign an
- 3:11Speaker 1: extension so it gives you time to talk. All you
- 3:13Speaker 1: got to do is sign it. So don't fall for
- 3:15Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer and the glasses fogging up as he gets
- 3:19Speaker 1: all excited. All he has to do is sign the
- 3:22Speaker 1: extension and everything will be fine. Oh hey, there's a
- 3:26Speaker 1: book that's coming out. It just came out today, was
- 3:28Speaker 1: released today. We've been telling you about it. It's the
- 3:32Speaker 1: definitive ultimate book on Johnny Carson. You're gonna want to
- 3:36Speaker 1: read this book. If you watch the late night shows
- 3:39Speaker 1: and just shake your head now and you think, what
- 3:42Speaker 1: happened to Johnny Carson, the real late night host. Well
- 3:45Speaker 1: this guy, Mark Malkoff. We've had him on the show.
- 3:47Speaker 1: We'll get him on the show again this week. Mark Malcoff,
- 3:50Speaker 1: he wrote, he's a young guy, he wasn't even around
- 3:53Speaker 1: back then, but he's the most incredible researcher and he
- 3:55Speaker 1: studied everything about Carson and it's the absolute infinitive book
- 4:01Speaker 1: that analyzes Johnny Carson. It's an incredible book. It's called
- 4:05Speaker 1: Love Johnny Carson. It's out. Go to Amazon order Love
- 4:10Speaker 1: Johnny Carson, the new book. He's the guy that does
- 4:12Speaker 1: the Carson Podcast. You should also listen to that. He's
- 4:15Speaker 1: interviewed everybody that was ever on the Tonight Show, everybody
- 4:18Speaker 1: that worked on the Tonight Show. Phenomenal book. Uh, Speaking
- 4:24Speaker 1: of books, here's another one of these articles. You read
- 4:27Speaker 1: these articles, they tell you, don't look at your phone,
- 4:31Speaker 1: don't watch TV, don't do anything an hour before you
- 4:34Speaker 1: go to sleep. No screens. Don't you know something about
- 4:37Speaker 1: the blue light of the screen the computer. Don't look
- 4:40Speaker 1: at your laptop, don't look at your phone. You won't
- 4:43Speaker 1: be able to sleep. Who the hell comes up with
- 4:45Speaker 1: this nonsense. This is the dumbest thing I've ever read.
- 4:48Speaker 1: You know, I in my when I'm in bed, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: got a laptop in there with me and my phone.
- 4:53Speaker 1: I'm looking at both, plus the TVs on. I got
- 4:55Speaker 1: three screens in my face, and I fall asleep right
- 4:58Speaker 1: in the middle of it. I had no problem fall
- 5:00Speaker 1: in a sleep. How many times you've been doing you
- 5:03Speaker 1: look at your phone? He just does so easy to
- 5:06Speaker 1: fall asleep looking at your phone, looking at your screen.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You know, then you wake up in the middle of
- 5:11Speaker 1: the night. Now, in the middle of night, there's no phone,
- 5:13Speaker 1: no screen, the TV's off, everything's off. It's total. That's
- 5:16Speaker 1: when you can't go back to sleep. That's when you
- 5:18Speaker 1: have trouble falling asleep. So don't believe that stuff. You
- 5:22Speaker 1: can look right at your computer if you're tired enough,
- 5:25Speaker 1: you're fall asleep. But it has nothing to do. There's
- 5:27Speaker 1: no blue light, and don't buy that stuff for a second. Hey,
- 5:31Speaker 1: Gail King got in a little bit of trouble. She's
- 5:34Speaker 1: on a plane flying back from some place. Big first
- 5:38Speaker 1: class seat. Who's in the next seat? Some guy with
- 5:42Speaker 1: the hat on and glasses. But then it turns out
- 5:44Speaker 1: the guy is Jesse Waters of Fox News. Very nice guy,
- 5:49Speaker 1: Jesse Waters. Gail King appears to be nice, but anyway,
- 5:56Speaker 1: she can be nice when she wants to be. So
- 5:58Speaker 1: they're sitting together on four hour flight and they start
- 6:01Speaker 1: talking and they become very friendly. Jesse Water is a
- 6:04Speaker 1: very charming, friendly guy in real life, and Gail King,
- 6:07Speaker 1: when she wants to be can be friendly and charming.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So the two of them hit it off. She takes
- 6:11Speaker 1: a picture. She puts it up on Twitter. Look who
- 6:13Speaker 1: I sat next to Jesse Waters. Interesting conversation. We had
- 6:17Speaker 1: a good time on the flight. Nice to meet him. Well.
- 6:21Speaker 1: She is getting bombarded on Twitter. She is getting attacked
- 6:24Speaker 1: left and right. The liberal left wing kooks are all
- 6:27Speaker 1: over her, yelling and screaming at her. How dare you
- 6:30Speaker 1: talk to a Nazi? He's a Nazis, and everybody's a
- 6:35Speaker 1: not everybody's a Nazi to them except Hitler, but everybody's Hitler.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Everybody's a Nazi. With these left wing Trump derangement syndrome people,
- 6:43Speaker 1: they have no tolerance for anything, no tolerance at all. Hey,
- 6:50Speaker 1: you know down in the meatpacking district, he got that
- 6:52Speaker 1: big Google building, got the Chelsea Market, which was like
- 6:56Speaker 1: the centerpiece of the meatpacking district, built by the light
- 7:00Speaker 1: Irwin Cohen. And then across the street you got the
- 7:03Speaker 1: whole block. It's the biggest building in New York. It's
- 7:05Speaker 1: the huge building. It's just says Google all over. It
- 7:10Speaker 1: turns out they have a bed bug problem. Some o
- 7:14Speaker 1: the buildings got bed bugs. They've evacuated the building. They
- 7:17Speaker 1: say they're getting it under control, getting rid of the
- 7:21Speaker 1: bed bugs. But everybody at Google, and that's a lot
- 7:26Speaker 1: of employees they actually have that they bought the Chelsea Market,
- 7:29Speaker 1: they got like four major buildings, tens of thousands of
- 7:32Speaker 1: people working at Google. They've told everybody in every building
- 7:35Speaker 1: to work from home until they get the problem under control.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Now this is getting in the news. I don't you know,
- 7:42Speaker 1: this is not good. Somebody might get the idea you know,
- 7:43Speaker 1: a lot of people don't want to go back to
- 7:45Speaker 1: the office. They want to work from home. A lot
- 7:47Speaker 1: of these companies make it come back. So I don't know,
- 7:49Speaker 1: somebody might be getting the idea, I'll bring some bed
- 7:52Speaker 1: bugs in and then we'll get to work from home
- 7:53Speaker 1: for a week. Or don't do that. Don't do that.
- 7:57Speaker 1: You know who's the king of this work from home,
- 7:59Speaker 1: come back to the office. Amy Diamond, the brilliant great
- 8:02Speaker 1: CEO of JP Morgan Chase, wants everybody back in the office.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He's got a thing about this, he really does. He's
- 8:09Speaker 1: like Pauli and Goodfellas. You know, remember Paulie, and he
- 8:13Speaker 1: he says, you gotta go back. I'm not saying you
- 8:15Speaker 1: gotta go back this minute, but you gotta go back.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So he has this thing about back to the office.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And one of the reasons he built on Park Avenue.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Let's see forty seventh. I think it's forty seventh in
- 8:29Speaker 1: Park the brand new JP Morgan Chase skyscraper. It is massive.
- 8:34Speaker 1: My friend David Arena is actually the guy that came
- 8:37Speaker 1: up with this building. It's phenomenal, three billion dollars. It's
- 8:41Speaker 1: the most amazing new office building ever built, and it
- 8:46Speaker 1: can hold I think ten thousand people. Ten thousand people
- 8:48Speaker 1: will be working on that building, and they put in
- 8:52Speaker 1: anything and everything. There's a gym everywhere, there's a sauna,
- 8:55Speaker 1: there's a spa, there's a wellness and anything you can need.
- 9:00Speaker 1: And then as far as food, they got Danny Meyer
- 9:02Speaker 1: the Great Restaurant Tour to do nineteen different restaurants and
- 9:06Speaker 1: eateries in there. Nineteen different eateries, restaurants, cafes, anything you want.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You know, this is a lot of these office buildings
- 9:14Speaker 1: are doing this. They got a top restaurant guy to
- 9:16Speaker 1: do this. It's a big problem for door Dash and
- 9:19Speaker 1: Seamless and all the delivery grub Hub. Nobody has to
- 9:22Speaker 1: order anything. It's all comes right from the building. Whatever
- 9:24Speaker 1: you want to eat, anything in the world is in
- 9:26Speaker 1: the building. So hey, Boston Blue. I didn't really notice
- 9:35Speaker 1: it because it was a quick scene. But the new
- 9:37Speaker 1: series Boston Blue, Danny Reagan goes to Boston because his
- 9:41Speaker 1: son has become a policeman in Boston and he gets
- 9:43Speaker 1: injured and you briefly see the sun, but you know
- 9:47Speaker 1: that's the sun Danny Reagan had in Blue Bloods. You know,
- 9:50Speaker 1: at the family dinner that sun shone. Well, there's a
- 9:52Speaker 1: little controversy because in the new spinoff series Boston Blue,
- 9:57Speaker 1: the sun Shawn has become a Boston Police officer. But
- 10:00Speaker 1: you can see when you look at him, it's not
- 10:02Speaker 1: the same actor. They switched actors. A different kid now
- 10:05Speaker 1: plays Danny Reagan's son, and it's upsetting a lot of people,
- 10:09Speaker 1: and they're saying, well, what happened? Where's the uh? They said, Well,
- 10:13Speaker 1: what they said we wanted a different energy. Now, if
- 10:16Speaker 1: you go back and look at it, the u the
- 10:19Speaker 1: kid from Blue Bloods that played Sean was kind of
- 10:23Speaker 1: kind of a puffy looking guy. I think what it
- 10:26Speaker 1: was they wanted somebody looked like Danny Reagan, like a lean,
- 10:28Speaker 1: mean cop, you know, tough looking, mean, lean detective type,
- 10:33Speaker 1: and that kid was kind of a you know, puffy,
- 10:35Speaker 1: kind of a butter ball kind of. So they've switched actors.
- 10:39Speaker 1: But it's upsetting a lot of people, and I don't
- 10:42Speaker 1: know how I feel about it. I'm still still getting
- 10:45Speaker 1: over the two Darrens on Bewitched. I mean, that's still
- 10:48Speaker 1: tough to get over. They you know, I mean, that
- 10:53Speaker 1: was a different case. Though, that was a different case.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Dick York was the Darren on Bewitch. He had tremendous
- 10:58Speaker 1: health problems. He was in agon in pain, he had
- 11:00Speaker 1: tremendous back problems, health problems. He had to leave. So
- 11:04Speaker 1: they didn't deliberately switch. This is a deliberate switch. Now
- 11:09Speaker 1: you're saying, what about Marilyn Munster, Well, that was remember
- 11:13Speaker 1: Marilyn Munster, the good looking blonde. It was one woman
- 11:17Speaker 1: for the first couple of years. Then she left. What
- 11:19Speaker 1: happened was she married a billionaire, a zillionaire. She was
- 11:21Speaker 1: this hot looking blonde. Mary's azillionaire leaves the show. They
- 11:24Speaker 1: had got a new Marilyn monster. But let's get back
- 11:27Speaker 1: to the current century. Uh what if mom Donnie wins.
- 11:33Speaker 1: It's not looking great. Uh what if Mom Donnie wins.
- 11:37Speaker 1: The good news is Kathy Hochel has said she will
- 11:42Speaker 1: stay on top of everything if he wins. If he
- 11:44Speaker 1: screws up the police or anything, the garbage transit, what if,
- 11:49Speaker 1: she'll be right in there to fix it. That's the
- 11:52Speaker 1: good news. The bad news is, now you're depending on
- 11:55Speaker 1: Kathy Hockel, who's like, the's not great. If he wins,
- 12:02Speaker 1: it's possible he will never serve now if he wins,
- 12:07Speaker 1: he doesn't take office until January first, the Department of Justice,
- 12:11Speaker 1: the Trump administration, and some private investigating organizations are digging
- 12:16Speaker 1: into the money. How they hell did this guy come
- 12:19Speaker 1: out of nowhere with no money and suddenly have fifty
- 12:21Speaker 1: million to spend on a campaign. Where did it come
- 12:24Speaker 1: from a lot of people think there's foreign money that
- 12:26Speaker 1: not only came in, that he knew about it. If
- 12:28Speaker 1: that's the case, if they prove that he's gone, he's
- 12:30Speaker 1: out of the race, or doesn't take office, they can
- 12:34Speaker 1: actually remove him. So I know, I've been telling you
- 12:38Speaker 1: this for weeks and they keep telling me, Oh, well,
- 12:40Speaker 1: we're getting close. We're getting close. We're getting close. So
- 12:42Speaker 1: so far I haven't seen anything, but we'll see now.
- 12:45Speaker 1: The other good news is he's a horrible anti Semitic guy.
- 12:50Speaker 1: The Jewish community has to worry about the anti semitism
- 12:54Speaker 1: of Mom Donnie. There are officials of the Department of
- 12:58Speaker 1: Justice who have said to me they will monitor him
- 13:00Speaker 1: carefully if he takes office. If they see anything like that,
- 13:04Speaker 1: they will arrest him for a hate crime. They will
- 13:06Speaker 1: move right in and arrest them. So that's more good news.
- 13:11Speaker 1: The debate is tomorrow night. We'll see what happens in
- 13:14Speaker 1: that debate. If Curtis is going to change the direction momentum,
- 13:17Speaker 1: it's going to have to be tomorrow night. He was
- 13:20Speaker 1: great and he won the first debate, but it didn't
- 13:22Speaker 1: really change much. But we'll see. We haven't had any
- 13:25Speaker 1: real polling since that first debate. You had that poll yesterday,
- 13:28Speaker 1: but don't take that seriously. That's from the Cuomo camp,
- 13:32Speaker 1: the people to put up put together that pole. Yes,
- 13:34Speaker 1: a big, big Cuomo people, so don't take it seriously.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Don't take it seriously. We haven't had any real polling yet,
- 13:41Speaker 1: so we'll see. You got a lot of these big, big,
- 13:45Speaker 1: big donors. They're gonna be all over television. Bill Ackman
- 13:47Speaker 1: and the leading one major, a huge billionaire hedge fund
- 13:51Speaker 1: guys telling you only Cuomo can win. Only now you
- 13:53Speaker 1: got to remember, we love these people and they're brilliant
- 13:56Speaker 1: at what they do, but they are always wrong when
- 13:59Speaker 1: it comes to politics. One hundred percent of the time.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They always get it wrong. These are the same guys
- 14:04Speaker 1: that told you Trump can't win. You got a big
- 14:06Speaker 1: we have to go with DeSantis. Trump can't win. Trump
- 14:08Speaker 1: has to leave, So we can run to Santa They're
- 14:10Speaker 1: always wrong every time they're brilliant. As Kellyan Conway actually
- 14:15Speaker 1: charted it out. She can chart it through the years.
- 14:17Speaker 1: They've been wrong one hundred percent of the time. And
- 14:21Speaker 1: as she says, they've made billions doing what they do,
- 14:24Speaker 1: they've never made a penny giving political advice because they
- 14:27Speaker 1: stink at it. Same thing would happen if you asked
- 14:29Speaker 1: all these billionaires to give you football predictions. You find
- 14:33Speaker 1: out they don't know what they're talking and they're always
- 14:34Speaker 1: wrong when it comes to football predictions. Same thing when
- 14:37Speaker 1: they come to any political prediction. So don't take it seriously. Hey,
- 14:43Speaker 1: well take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 14:45Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 14:48Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten
