Seth Holehouse: Strains are there and condensed into these capsules because so many people they don't they say they don't have the time they don't have the energy they don't you know they don't want to run around looking for all these ingredients they don't literally like to cook or whatever. This is a way to start to regain your health back in a convenient and easy way. Would I prefer that you make your own kimchi? Yes. Would I prefer that you make your own foods?
• 0:28
Yes. But those of us that, you know, have been around helping people for as long as I have, almost fifty years, I'll be, I'm 70 now, have, I've seen it over and over again that people, if they don't have the energy, they don't feel good, they're not going to make their own kimchi. They might do it once or twice. So, now you can take kimchi one, which we've got in these convenient capsules, and you can start to regain your health, rebuild your health, so you get back your energy again. Your hair's not falling out.
• 1:01
You're not having heart problems. You're not having brain fog. Your skin is not looking sallow and old looking. Koreans have beautiful skin, and so we have so many people that use the kimchi one that say, oh my gosh, I see such a change in my energy levels, in my digestive health. I see so many changes in my skin, and I've lost the brain fog.
• 1:26
Well, why is that? Because you're actually putting back what God put there in the first place and you're putting back something that's active and it results in these great, you know, balancing acts of our microbiome, not only in our gut, but on our skin, in our brain, and everywhere else in our body.
• 1:46
Kim Bright: So, it's basically like, it's like a supercharger for your gut bacteria, right? It's because as much as we've damaged what's in our guts, right, which which unfortunately we all have. You you you walk out and you're breathing the air full of aluminum and and and, you know, barium and strontium, and you're breathing that in. And even if you're trying to eat organic, you know, you might go to the local rep. Welcome to Man in America, a voice of reason in a world gone mad.
• 2:29
I'm your host, Seth Holehouse. So what's been amazing about the past couple of years is that there has been this mass awakening to health. And not just understanding, okay, that maybe big pharma's corrupt, which they are, and maybe these pharmaceuticals aren't the greatest thing for us. But what I found though is that there has been this huge movement of people that wanna go back to learning how did the ancients live? How can we keep ourselves healthy?
• 2:54
How were our grandparents? Why is it that they weren't getting cancer, like, they're at the rates that we're getting right now? What were they doing? So there's this huge, just movement of people that are going back to tradition, and it's it's wonderful. And it's it's one things I love more than anything is finding these different ways that I can cut off the aspects of the modern life.
• 3:14
You I don't need that. I don't need a smart meter on the house anymore. I don't need this. You know, we can grow that food here. And so, know, I'm not gonna buy eggs from the store anymore.
• 3:21
We're gonna raise our own There's this beautiful movement that's going on. And so, my guest today, Kim Bright. So Kim Bright, she's the founder of Brightcore, which is one of our show sponsors. And so she has this extensive knowledge about traditional living, as it ties into how the the the Chinese, the Asians, the Koreans, like, some of the lessons they've learned about gut health, about how to eat healthy, about how to live healthy. And so she has just a huge breadth of knowledge, but we're also be diving into a look at a recent study by Harvard talking about how, I think it's like 678,000 Americans roughly are dying every year from basically eating toxic processed food.
• 4:06
And so, is one of the big ones is that, of course, it's great. Hey, no more fluoride in certain states, they're getting rid of the certain red dyes. But actually, the real killer well, there's lots of real killers, unfortunately, but a lot of it ties into just this heavily processed food. And so she's gonna help us explain, you know, why even if it's organic, why is something that's processed in a shelf store that shelf stable, even if it's organic, why is it fundamentally different than especially food that you're growing in your own garden, in your own soil, in your own dirt, or food from your own region? So it's gonna be a really educational interview, kinda digging into some of these more foundational principles of living and eating within the seasons, but also talking about the absolute corruption of the FDA, which, of course, is unlimited stories on that.
• 4:52
So please enjoy the interview with Kim Bright. Miss Kim Bright, it is such a pleasure to have you back on the show. Thank you very much for being here with us today.
• 5:01
Seth Holehouse: Thank you for having me.
• 5:03
Kim Bright: So we're living in a pretty, I guess, interesting or fun time, might you say, where so many things that we believe ten years ago that we maybe we thought were conspiracies five years ago are now being proven to be true. And I think one of the biggest conspiracy is what's happening within our health and medical system. Even the fact that you have an organization that's the FDA, the Food and Drug Administration. So I was like, I wonder if you can control the food, make people sick with the food, you can make them buy the drugs, and then you can run the administration that controls the whole racket. It's like, oh, okay.
• 5:40
And so we had a study that did recently came as a Harvard public health study, which is really important. It says processed foods are making us sick. It's time for the FDA and USDA to step in. It says chronic food illness kills up to six hundred and seventy eight thousand Americans a year. It says federal law requires policymakers to take action.
• 6:03
And here's a Harvard professor arguing what's missing, but that's just insane. Right? That our food that should be our medicine is actually our poison. What do you make of this?
• 6:15
Seth Holehouse: Well, know, Seth, almost fifty years ago, I was teaching people that they didn't have to get on this bandwagon of, you know, it's all about Western medicine, and having them understand that food really is real medicine if you eat real food. But if you choose to eat processed foods and ultra processed foods that contain all of these poisons, then you are going to unbalance your body and you are going to have the body getting sick. And when it gets sick with the flu or a cold, it's trying to get rid of the poisons. But what have we been trained to do via the TV, via the FDA, and all of them? It's like, oh, you've got to put a pill in.
• 7:00
You have to suppress everything if you're getting sick. Well, that doesn't make you anything but sicker, then ultimately that congeals into tumors. So, these were things I had to disabuse people of, these ideas, and they called me crazy, but they're proving out to be the truth now. What was conspiracy and crazy back almost fifty years ago, forty, thirty, twenty, even ten, is now coming out. And there's a big joke, you know, about the FDA, I used to say too, is it's really, you know, they say that the F is silent in FDA because there's no focus on the food.
• 7:39
There's mainly always been focus on the drugs because they're in bed with the pharmaceutical companies. And you know what's really sad? I've got some statistics here. That picture that you had up that was in Harvard, in that, it shows the picture of the Froot Loops and some kind of, I don't even know if that's meat or what that is in that gravy, but it's in a microwavable tray. Microwaving's not good either, it alters the molecules, and we're not going to get into that today.
• 8:08
But, you know, like the frozen pizzas, then, I don't know, that's chicken something with pasta. But we've got six hundred and seventy eight thousand Americans a year dying, okay? And it is federal law that you are not allowed to put poisons in our food because then it renders it, you know, as a health risk test. But this has just been totally ignored by the FDA. But yet, we've got in America Sixteen Hundred Americans every single day dying from heart disease, diabetes, obesity.
• 8:47
Where is this all coming from? Well, it all comes back to the food. It comes back to the food supply. It comes back to the poisons that Big Ag uses on their crops. Do you know, Seth, that the FDA has never regulated water safety?
• 9:06
The water runoff with manure and the pesticides and the herbicides have contaminated foods for many decades. I mean, we had a spinach problem, I think it was in 02/2006, where a lot of people died. The spinach was contaminated, and they never take the time to look into these things, and by the time they look into them, it's too late. So, we need to make sure, with President Trump in office now and wonderful RFK Jr. Really out there, you know, to make a difference and trying to expose the truths.
• 9:38
He's up against, you know, some bad guys, but we have to not only worry about our food safety, our water safety, I mean even our air safety, because we need oxygen in our body to transport nutrients to the cells, and we need oxygen to transport toxins out. And so if we've got the chemtrails, you know, killing us from the air with all the heavy metals and the aluminum and everything else they're dumping on us, then we've got the water polluted, and we've got our soils polluted, this has been going on for a long time, and we've got such a mess for President Trump and RFK Jr. And all of his cabinet to turn around, and I really want to stress that people have to be patient because we were almost over the cliff with this, and we have to really understand why would these people who have been put in charge of keeping our health safety, you know, in check, Why didn't they do this? Well, because it's all about the bottom line with the big corporations and mainly big pharma and big ag, right? And so they place the importance upon, is it going to cost us money on our bottom line?
• 10:56
Then we can't do it. Ignore it. Ignore the contamination that's in the food that you know is there. Just put it in the packages anyway. You know, they've known for years that we've got all these poisons in our food and in the food packaging.
• 11:10
And then what's really sickening to me is that, you know, a normal person thinks, how could they do this? And they're confused, and they don't, they can't think the way that somebody that is all about the bottom line thinks, because I think we really have to get down to seeing it's really a spiritual war. It really is those that want to protect their health, protect their children's health, protect the health of the air, the health of the water and the plants. Those people are very different than the people that are all about the money, and they don't care about the people, and they want to stay in power. So when we see this, and we see how all of the poisons they put in affect us in our gut, in our overall body, because our gut really is where our own health starts, but really what's bad is they have allowed all of these poisons to go into baby foods.
• 12:10
For instance, the formulas. Even just a few years ago, they had to stop making the formulas because they contain too much lead. They've got 50 baby food products that they looked at. Two thirds contained what they called worrisome levels of at least one neurotoxin, and I'm talking about lead, arsenic, and cadmium. Baby formulas, heavy lead in there.
• 12:37
Rice cereal, which a lot of people, that's the first food when they're weaning them off formulas or breast milk, they're putting them on the rice cereals, right? Contaminated. The little jars of sweet potatoes and carrots, even some organic things. They had heavy, heavy problems with those with lead and other toxic elements. So, the whole thing here is for generations, with the ingestion of all these things, it has torn apart where health starts with us, our core, which is our gut.
• 13:13
And it is destroying the gut microbiome in us, and then when we reproduce and have babies, their systems are weaker, their cells are weaker, their bones are weaker, and it just has been going down and down the line. So, we have to reverse it and get back to really paying attention to let's eat real food.
• 13:35
Kim Bright: Doctor. There's so many points to touch on with this, but one thing that I think about, so I've got two children, I've got a four year old and a one year old, and my wife breastfed our one year old till she was maybe 11, and my one year old is 14 is still she's showing no sign of slowing down. And and neither of them ever actually, think we had we we had got some some really good organic goat milk formula from Germany for a small period of time when we needed it, but they've always just been naturally breastfed, and my wife and I eat very healthy. But when you look at the, like, the leading baby formulas, you look at their ingredient list, it's insane how many ingredients are in there. And it's crazy that there's things, you know, the sugars and the corn solids and soy derivatives and seed oils.
• 14:22
And you're just thinking, gosh, like this is the raw material this baby is getting to build its brain, its cells, its organs, and like this is the raw material it's being given. It's absolutely just incredible. But, you know, one question I want to ask you because it's not always easy to understand this is that when you say processed or ultra processed, how is how is that generally different from, you know, typically whole foods? Right? Or, you know, how we cook, for instance, the most complex meal I make will be maybe like a homemade spaghetti Bolognese, but it's got fresh chopped peppers and onions and, you know, you know, olives, and it's got all the, you know, kind of separate whole ingredients, really good grass fed organic, you know, beef and, you know, wild boar, sometimes we'll put wild boar in there, but it's all just nice individual ingredients.
• 15:16
So when we're looking at, like, this study, I'll pull that up again, right? This, Harvard study that we were talking about, they say that processed food is making us sick. What is it about it being processed? Like, why is it that what I make at home is different than the stuff that you're buying at the store that's giving your kid early onset diabetes or whatever it is?
• 15:38
Seth Holehouse: And obesity. That's a great question. Well, you know, when you buy or you go out and you pick your your garden, you get some fresh fruits and vegetables in, or you go to the grocery store. They're not as fresh, but they're around the outside perimeter of the store. Right?
• 15:53
That's real food, and you take those home and you wash them and you cook them and you eat them. You're not pouring, you know, artificial colors, artificial flavors, enhancers. I mean, when you say ultra processed, that is not only cooking it to death, where it doesn't have any live enzymes anymore, which we all need, and you're putting in all these different chemicals to keep it fresh longer. Well, it's not fresh, but just for its shelf life, you know? And you've got the artificial colors, flavors, synthetic enhancers.
• 16:28
This is ultra processed. This is, you know, when you're using brominated flowers, when you're using things where you've extracted out the actual vitamins and nutrients that God put there to make it white flour. It doesn't have the bran anymore, it doesn't have any of So we have to think in whole foods and eating whole foods because that's what nourishes our microbiome. And the same thing in the soil. They've got to put back things that nourish the soil.
• 16:54
I just saw something as a little side here. I read something where they're actually becoming smarter about the cows. You know, they want to bring the methane down. They think the cows culprits. Well, guess what?
• 17:07
When you when you have enough minerals in your body
• 17:11
Kim Bright: Gold has surged 46 in less than a year, doubling the gains of the Nasdaq and the S and P five hundred. But this isn't just another rally. Global reserves are shifting, exposing cracks in the monetary system. Investors are losing confidence in paper gold and demanding physical metal, creating a massive gap between gold owed and gold available. But this isn't about how institutions broke another system.
• 17:39
It's about how you can profit from it. Right now, Noble Gold Investments has a limited supply of grade gold bars and coins available. As banks scramble to fulfill their obligations, pushing gold prices higher, you can profit. Smart investors are already moving into physical gold. Noble Gold Investments makes it easy for you to do the same.
• 18:02
And right now, when you make a qualified investment, Noble Gold will add a free tenth ounce gold coin to your order. Don't wait until it's too late. Visit goldwithseth.com or call (626) 654-1906 now and turn their panic into your profit. Again, that's goldwithseth.com or (626) 654-1906. You'll find that information in the description for the show as well.
• 18:33
Seth Holehouse: You don't have the methane going on. They finally realize seaweed's important. They're feeding cows a little bit of seaweed now in their foods, and the amount of methane that's coming out of them is like down dramatically, like 80%. We need minerals in our body that can we can eat seaweed for that. We need, enzymes, vitamins, proteins.
• 18:56
Those are all naturally occurring in real food. When you do ultra processing, you're taking all those out and then you're adding in artificial sweeteners, artificial everything, know, and substituting sugar because they want to say sugar free, but yet it's got aspartame in it. This is crazy. You have to become a label reader, but what is it doing? It's destroying our gut, and that's the main thing that we really want to focus on is when you have a healthy gut, because you have that gut brain access, you have gut skin access, that is your core, and that's the core in your baby too, and your baby needs all these nutrients as well, and your children need these nutrients.
• 19:37
They don't need artificial colors, artificial flavors in the candies, and they actually add things in to make them addictive. So, we really need to get back and have common sense and get back to natural and organic things.
• 19:51
Kim Bright: So, thing, so I want to segue into the gut health, but before I jump into that, just want to throw a quick comment, is I know that, you're some aspect of your training, which you have a very wide kind of bertha training, but you focus on macrobiotic and eating in season and living in season. I think that's also one of the big things I'm asking myself, like, is everything processed? It's like, okay, well, it's really it's the industrialization, right? Is it what used to be small local farm markets turned into the the small local grocery stores? Those grocery stores slowly got bought up by the bigger chains, and now you have the nationwide brands.
• 20:28
You have the the Trader Joe's, the the Kroger, the, you know, Giant Eagle, whichever region you're in, Publix down in Florida. And so the thing is, is that well, they have these massive, massive grocery stores, that it's all just a big, like, intricate supply chain for them. And it's like, it's crazy signs you'll go and you'll get like, we'll buy organic, organic peppers, and they'll say, grown in Israel. It's like, really? This is grown in Israel?
• 20:55
And it was somehow like, it made more sense financially to grow it in Israel or grow it in in Peru and ship it and refrigerate it and truck it and bring it to my doorstep, like that made more sense. But the thing is is that what I found is that because we become so used to having access to produce around the world, we're never restricted to eat within our season. And so Right.
• 21:19
Seth Holehouse: Which is not good for our health.
• 21:20
Kim Bright: Yeah. So I know we're not gonna go deep into that, but just give us a little overview of of just seasonal eating and why it's so important for our health.
• 21:28
Seth Holehouse: Because seasonal eating, we have five different flavors mainly that affect our different organ systems in our body. For instance, spring. The most active organs in the spring are your liver and gallbladder, and so you want to eat things that support liver and gallbladder. What is that sour taste? So, what's occurring naturally in spring that's sour?
• 21:49
Like, you can go out and pick wild greens that have a sour taste. Like, when I lived in Mississippi, we'd go out and pick curly dock. That was very sour. You find things naturally growing in nature that go along with the seasons. In the autumn, for instance, excuse me, you've got squashes growing and sweeter vegetables growing and things like that.
• 22:11
In the summer, it's bitter flavored to stimulate the heart and the small intestine. And so, in the winter it's kidneys and sex organs, and you want to eat more salty type food. But there, you know, beans are good for that to nourish those organs as well, and seaweeds. So when you eat things that are growing locally and in season, and the most local thing you want to eat is your water, you want to have your water very locally, but we've become so spoiled that we can have these foods that are not growing in season, and that's another reason that we're not as healthy as we can be. So, concentrate on that.
• 22:50
Your gut's going to love you more. Your whole body's going to love you more if you eat local and in season. And that was the name of my restaurant, and that's why I named it that, A Change of Seasons, because I was educating people, changing my menu with every single season, and only using mainly what was growing in season, so they could really get the concept of, yes, you have to pay attention to these things. That's why God made them grow like that.
• 23:18
Kim Bright: What's amazing about that too is that I was even reading about how when you plant your own seeds, I was reading something that was saying that you should lick your seeds as you put them in, because you transfer your microbiome to the seeds, right?
• 23:31
Seth Holehouse: It picks up your frequency and your microbiome that's in your mouth, and then it yes, beautiful that you said that most people don't know that.
• 23:39
Kim Bright: Yeah, what's also interesting is I know that with, breast milk that actually that when a baby is nursing her the saliva from the baby on the mother's nipple also transfers that that micro there's that exchange in the microbiome so that her body is now receiving the needs of the baby and producing them and the more you dig into all this stuff, it's you realize, like, evolution's a scam. To think that there's there's some way that all these things just randomly occurred, and that we just made it through the, you know, years and years and and millennia of evolution to get here, and you look at this the magic of that, that if you if you lick your seed and plant that seed will start to form what you need, or even the idea that that your environment knows what your body needs, and so that naturally the because we've my wife had we've done forging courses, and we've done forging, and you look and you see that, oh, actually, why is it I'm having all this dandelion growing? It's like, oh, I should be having dandelion root coffee or, right, that your land gives to you what you need.
• 24:39
Seth Holehouse: It does and dandelion greens are another green that helps the liver. Anything green is really good for liver. So, you know, spring brings green, and, you know, it's just naturally there. It's common sense, common sense.
• 24:51
Kim Bright: Yeah, actually, just finished liver cleanses, my wife and I, and actually I'm doing a raw juice cleanse now. So, is my, my Gaia Verde, which is spinach, Jamaica or Jamaca, honeydew, cucumber, lime, and basil. I've been
• 25:06
Seth Holehouse: And guess what? All of those are green.
• 25:08
Kim Bright: Exactly. Exactly. So, I wanna I wanna jump into gut health because this is something that is now become a buzzword. Oh, you gotta have, you know, watch out for your gut health, and, you know, there's you have different people that talk about it, but you're someone that I think understands it in a very deep way. I think especially because from my understanding of your knowledge that you're looking at through the lens of ancient culture, and you're seeing how the ancients viewed gut health, which is really important.
• 25:36
And so walk us through what what is gut health? What does it mean? Why can processed food affect our gut health? What can we do to bring our gut health back to where it needs to be? I'll just hand it to you.
• 25:51
  Doctor.
• 25:52
Seth Holehouse: Okay. Well, first of all, the gut microbiome is so important because it's its own little community. It has yeasts and funguses and, good bacteria and bad bacteria and parasites all existing. And it is very, parallel, it parallels the soil. Soil has the same thing.
• 26:14
When the soil is healthy, it has all these different microbes in it too, and it has more of the good guys than the bad guys. So then when it grows our seed into our food, it's transferring more of the good guys into our food. Whereas if you kill off all those good guys when you pour the herbicides and the pesticides all and they end up in the soil and on our foods, you are unbalancing that incredible microbiome that is there naturally by using manures and leaves and grass clippings and all of that. That's there naturally. And so, the same thing happens in our own gut.
• 26:57
We have to keep that wonderful balance that's so easy to keep when we eat correctly and when we eat in season. And so, what happens is the good guys overpower the bad guys and keep those molds and yeasts and fungus down, and, we don't end up with candida overgrowth, which is one of the biggest things that people are dealing with and have been dealing with for for a long time now. Because when you eat those ultra processed foods, when you eat foods that are all cooked and they have no live enzymes in them, they don't have probiotics in them from fermentation, you're killing off your own microbiome. You're killing yourself. And what happens then is the molds and the funguses and all the bad guys start to overwhelm the good guys, and then you start having fatigue.
• 27:51
You have sickness coming in all the time because you're out of balance. Your pH is no longer in the center. It's not there in the fulcrum where it should be where you have all the energy. You feel great. Your body's functioning properly.
• 28:07
Your gut is taking in the nutrients and it's breaking them down in digestive juices, it's building up the good bacteria more and more, and then you're eliminating it correctly. You're not holding on to that stuff for days, and then you know toxifying your body. So it's so important that you really do pay attention to your gut and put in the foods that you know I studied all these ancient peoples and why they had longevity and why they were so healthy and they never got sick. Well, fermented foods was one of the top things in all of those cultures. And, you know, the top food that I found that was fermented, because I used to make homemade pickles all the time, and I'd make sauerkraut, and I would make, miso pickles, and I would make daikon pickles, and rice bran, all kinds of things.
• 29:01
But the the most important, powerful fermented food that I have found is kimchi, which is from Korea, and it is a fermented cabbage with shrimp paste and chilies and all kinds of different ingredients in there. And for some reason, kimchi has kept the Koreans very healthy with glowing skin for centuries because it ends up having these very unique probiotics that are not in sauerkraut, are not in dill pickles, are found nowhere else, only kimchi. And when you eat kimchi like they do over in Korea on an everyday basis, sometimes they eat it at every single meal, you are nourishing that microbiome so it stays healthy and in balance and the viruses can't overtake it. The parasites can't live there as easily. So, that's why gut health is so important and gut affects every single piece of our body, every cell in our body.
• 30:05
We have a gut brain axis, a gut skin axis, we have a gut hormone axis, we have so many places that the gut affects. It's all throughout our body.
• 30:14
Kim Bright: So, it's helpful then what you explained that it makes sense that a when you're eating processed food, you're not getting the microbiome at all from the earth. It's your it's a kind of like the earth produces this plant through pesticides and whatever. They take it, they process it, they ultra process it, basically they kill everything beneficial out of that, and obviously it's still calories and it's edible, but that I would imagine that one of the best things that is that you could do, like we talked about earlier, how nature will even put the plants that you need growing in your your property, that I imagine that is especially if you're a gardener and you're spending time working your soil, that that soil is becoming part of you. That soil is becoming a reflection of your microbiome and the plants that you're producing. And I I can see how it would create such a healthy cycle of growing your own food.
• 31:09
And and actually, I mean, even growing soil. Like, there's something that that you know, my wife might she's studied permaculture quite a bit, went to the institute over in Australia, and we moved recent in the past year, but now we're building our new garden beds. And and and soil is something that I I never really got it before, but it's clicked. It's like, oh, soil's life. Not just soil is life for your plant, that soil's health.
• 31:31
Actually, now it makes sense to me how the health of your soil even comes in to transform your gut. And so it's like, okay, well, if we're, say we're taking antibiotics once a year and destroying that gut biome, and we're eating processed foods or foods, you know, grown in hydroponically over in Europe or South America and shipped in, we're not getting any of that local, you know, microbiome and all the other things that we need locally. And so I know that a lot of people though, there's these the trend of probiotics, right, where it's like, you know, you see these, and we've had them in our fridge before too. You see like a pill bottle and it says contains, you know, 10,000,000,000 probiotic strains. It's like, wow, 10,000,000,000 in there.
• 32:12
I'm like, what a deal. But how are probiotics different from fermented food? Because I I think that there's a big difference, right, between the two of those things.
• 32:24
Seth Holehouse: Yes. There is. Because the whole thing too is when you like let's for instance, take kimchi. When you make your own kimchi, not only are you, you know, using the power of fermentation to turn those food substances into probiotics, when you make that in your house, or sourdough bread or yogurt or anything like that, your own bacteria that's living in the house goes into those foods. And so you keep re strengthening your whole body system that way.
• 32:56
And when you're taking something like kimchi, though, kimchi, for whatever reason it has these unique strains that come from the food that it's breaking down and eating and it has prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics, which is the fiber. And we need all three of those in our gut to make our microbiome very happy and balanced.
• 33:21
Kim Bright: I see. Okay. And so, tell us more about your kimchi one, right? Tell us more about your process with this. I know that you've figured out how to take something, which, you know, the kimchi I ate growing up or, you know, my my adult life was typically one that the the big, you know, clay jars, the traditional style in in the Korean restaurants, and you get on the side, and I used to live in New York City, and I love Korean.
• 33:44
So I was always going to Koreatown doing Korean barbecue, and, you know, so we we loved it. But how is how how have you been able to take that kimchi in a in a jar that's fermented and turn it into something like this that's shelf stable, doesn't stink. Right? It's one thing with kimchi and a lot of fermented food is it smells, yet still retaining its essence.
• 34:11
Seth Holehouse: Because we have a patented way to keep all of those live bioactive things in there, the enzymes, the fibers, the probiotics, and so all those unique strains are there and condensed into these capsules because so many people, they don't, they say they don't have the time, they don't have the energy, they don't, you know, they don't want to run around looking for all these ingredients, they don't literally like to cook or whatever. This is a way to start to regain your health back in a convenient and easy way. Would I prefer that you make your own kimchi? Yes. Would I prefer that you make your own foods?
• 34:52
Yes. But those of us that, you know, have been around helping people for as long as I have, almost fifty years, I'll be, I'm 70 now, I've seen it over and over again that people, if they don't have the energy, they don't feel good, they're not going to make their own kimchi. They might do it once or twice. So now, you can take kimchi one, which we've got in these convenient capsules, and you can start to regain your health, rebuild your health, so you get back your energy again. Your hair's not falling out.
• 35:24
You're not having heart problems. You're not having brain fog. Your skin is not looking sallow and old looking. Koreans have beautiful skin, and so we have so many people that use the kimchi one that say, oh my gosh, I see such a change in my energy levels, in my digestive health. I see so many changes in my skin, and I've lost the brain fog.
• 35:50
Well, why is that? Because you're actually putting back what God put there in the first place and you're putting back something that's active and it results in these great, you know, balancing acts of our microbiome, not only in our gut, but on our skin, in our brain, and everywhere else in our body.
• 36:09
Kim Bright: So, it's basically like, it's a, like a supercharger for your gut bacteria, right? It's because as much as we've damaged what's in our guts, right, which which unfortunately, we all have. You you you walk out and you're breathing the air full of aluminum and and and, you know, barium and strontium, and you're breathing that in. And even if you're trying to eat organic, you know, you might go to the local restaurant and and the water they serve you, it's got it's run through the the city tap, and who knows what's in it. I mean, so it's it's really difficult
• 36:40
  Seth Holehouse: license. It
• 36:42
Kim Bright: is. It is. And so, I mean, basically, is is that the kind of the main function of this? And also, I mean, of of eating fermented foods in general, right? Is is it it's like, can a can a really damaged gut be rebuilt?
• 36:59
Like, it with the right food coming in and kind of removing the wrong foods from coming in, is it possible to rebuild gut health? How long does that take before people start noticing that?
• 37:09
Seth Holehouse: Well, I can tell you people that had, you know, like the vaccines for the MNRAs, right? They had fatigue, they had brain fog, they had all this, and they couldn't move hardly. They were bedridden almost. They started taking Kimchi One and they called us and said, I can't believe the change and how quickly I'm feeling energy. My digestion is back on board.
• 37:37
My brain fog is dissipated. People start to see changes very rapidly. You'll see it in your skin. You'll see it reflected on your skin. You'll see it in your digestion and your absorption ability.
• 37:52
It doesn't take very long. But yes, when we put back in the things that God intended for us to have there, we can make that change very, very, very quickly. Yes, we've been general for, like I said, generations. We've just been going down this downward spiral. But we can take things like this powerful food kimchi and put it back in our gut, and it immediately goes to work, and it helps start building the villi that have been dying off from all the ultra processed foods.
• 38:22
That's what absorbs your nutrients, and those little hair like follicles grow back again, and they can absorb. You know, and then we see people that there's so many studies out there with kimchi about obesity and the waistlines and the BMI coming down. It works. It works. And people, their hair's not falling out.
• 38:45
It's not breaking off. So, it really does tie into all of our body, and it works very rapidly.
• 38:54
Kim Bright: And so, when we look at pulling this Harvard article back up, how chronic food illness kills up to six hundred and seventy eight thousand Americans every year. Obviously, we have certain, you know, substances, like some of the dyes as an example, like the red dye. That is a known carcinogen, and you can see it's okay, if you eat enough of that, it might cause you you to get cancer. But of this, how much, and I know this is you won't make this or know exactly, but in your opinion, how much of this is actually related to gut health? Because I think that it's easy for people to think that, oh, okay, well, you're eating these really bad foods, so you're putting a poison inside of you, and that poison then just poisons you, and your organs will fail, and you'll it'll kill you, But how how many of these diseases, you know, obviously, you wouldn't know the exact number, but, like, what's your what's your gut tell you, right, of how much this is actually just related to people having such damaged gut health that their immune system's compromised, their brain's not working properly, etc?
• 39:56
Seth Holehouse: Okay, well when you eat food, your gut starts in your mouth. Your gut starts in your saliva. And so, it's going from your saliva, all the gut is all the way down and goes out the very end. So, whatever you put in your mouth is going to affect your gut. It affects your digestion, and everything is affected by what you eat and consume, drink, inhale.
• 40:21
It all goes down into the gut. And the gut is where it all starts. So, if you're dumping in poisons like artificial colors, artificial flavors, preservatives constantly in these ultra processed foods, you are killing off your saliva is going to be less in your mouth, your enzymes are going to be less, all the way down. You've got leaky gut, you've got, what is that where people burp up a lot? Indigestion?
• 40:50
Yeah, you know, and they're taking Tums or something like that, you know. It's like, chew your food, eat in season, eat things healthy for your gut, because the gut is really where it all starts. Everything has to go to the gut to be digested and broken down. And if that's out of balance, it can't do the work than to send these nutrients. It's sending these large molecules trying to send them everywhere.
• 41:14
They don't go, they can't permeate where they're supposed to. You have to be able to have your food broken down properly. And the way that happens is by eating foods that are going to contribute to that, which kimchi contributes to that, fermented foods contribute to that, And letting go of those ultra processed foods and the sodas and the things like that that don't they're going to kill off your microbiome. They're going to kill off the friendly guys, and they're going to give way for the rise of the molds and the yeasts and the fungus and the parasites because they're making your body and your gut over acidic, and disease, parasites, bad guys thrive in over acidity, and you want your body to be more alkaline. And so by eating good healthy food, that keeps your body alkaline.
• 42:09
And by eating fermented foods, that really keeps your body alkaline. So it protects you against the imbalance, which we call disease and illness and sickness. And so, people need to understand that what they eat becomes them.
• 42:27
Kim Bright: You are what you eat. You are what you eat, what you absorb. One question I had for you is can you just explain what leaky gut is? I've heard it I have a general idea of it but this is it's one of those terms that it's almost like a lot to assume you know what it is but I kind of know what it is, but what is leaky gut?
• 42:46
Seth Holehouse: Leaky gut is when our whole gut lining starts to pull apart and fall apart and have holes starting in it. And so what happens is that the nutrients can leak out, that won't hurt, but the toxins and the end result that we're supposed to have come out the other end, those things start filtering into our blood and poisoning us further, and we become very toxic and septic, and we need to repair the gut. And when we eat good foods like kimchi, we are going to help repair that gut and good foods like collagen, like our Revive Collagen, really repairs that because that's made out of collagen too. So, when you eat these foods that are very acidic, they're going to eat holes in your gut lining. They're going to do damage.
• 43:39
Kim Bright: That makes sense. Don't want, not to mention, I'm sure the stomach acids even, you don't want those things leaking into the rest of your body.
• 43:48
Seth Holehouse: No, and you're going to become, your stomach acid is just going to become like this fuel that burns through things because it's so over acidic. And the answer is not putting in more drugs to keep that down. The thing is take out what you're you're putting in that's causing the problem.
• 44:05
Kim Bright: Exactly. I'll pull up the your main website, which is mybrightcore.com. So walk us through if someone wants to, get kimchi one, or the collagen, walk us through how this works and what you recommend for people for folks watching.
• 44:24
Seth Holehouse: Well, I want to say before we even go through that, that again, it's antimicrobial, which means it's going to get rid of the viruses and the microbes that are bad for us, okay? And it's going to help reduce obesity and rid those toxins out of there. So, the whole thing, that power of our second brain, that gut microbiome that affects our heart, brain, skin, immune system, and also it damps down the inflammation because when we're eating over acidic we have all of that inflammation going on. So, when you strengthen that gut by taking the kimchi one in, then that's where you're going to win the war. Not just in your gut, but in every area of your body.
• 45:07
You start there first and win the war in your gut because 70 to 80% of your immune system is in your gut too. So, you're going to stay healthier by doing that and eating those foods. Your inner health is reflected on the outside as well. So if you can put up that slide that we've got that shows, you know, the hair, the nails are going to be affected. So support your waistline.
• 45:36
And if you can go to the very end slide there where it shows how do you get Brightcors Kimchi one, we're going to give you 25% off when you use the code Man in America, and you go to mybrightcore.com/maninamerica. • 46:39
Kim Bright: And so what's also different about your company is that you want people to call, Whereas, like, every other company I deal with, it's like they're gonna do everything possible. Have you done our live chat? We can text you, you know, submit a ticket. It's like, I I I wanna call, and especially I wanna talk to someone who lives in America, you know. It's like, I'm not, you know, an overly racist person, but I wanna talk to someone that's like, oh, hey, where are you from?
• 47:00
I'm oh, I'm from Tennessee. Oh, that's nice. And can you help me? Of course, I'll help you. So but you you you actually, your preference is for people to call in.
• 47:09
  Right?
• 47:10
Seth Holehouse: It's because we like to help people. I've been doing this education and helping people for almost fifty years. Our staff's educated. They like to talk to people. They want to make sure that, you know, you're getting the right thing and help you understand your health even better than what this little, you know, interview that we've been having today that I can talk about, because there's so much.
• 47:31
It's such a vast amount of information, and we have been inundated with wrong data and wrong information from the side that wants to keep us sick. So it's a it's a whole new way of looking at things and educating yourself. So, yeah, so please call us. We're happy to talk to you, and we're all about getting you well.
