Thursday, 28 May 2026 And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. Matthew 20:9 “Having come, also, those about the eleventh hour, they took each – denarius.” (CG) In the previous verse, the housemaster called his commissioner to call the laborers to give them their wages, from the last to the first. It now says, “Having come, also, those about the eleventh hour.” These are those noted in verses 6 & 7. They had been standing idle all day long.
