Episode 807: Chanukah | The Festival of Dedication
A Jewish rebellion, called the Maccabean Revolt, c. 167-160 B.C., resulted in an overthrow of the Greek invasion and oppression of the Jewish people as well as Hellenistic compromises of Jewish worship.
