- 0:01Speaker 1: The Wholdaiking Big Show with Jon, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 0:04Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 0:07Speaker 2: It is to be grass on the Hidicky Big Show,
- 0:08Speaker 2: Keezy and Moggi Hoody j back with us on Thursday.
- 0:12Speaker 2: If you just joined us, we are discussing what was
- 0:15Speaker 2: one of the biggest fights of the century, Jake Paul
- 0:17Speaker 2: taking on Mike Tyson.
- 0:18Speaker 3: If you didn't see it, don't worry. You didn't really
- 0:20Speaker 3: miss much.
- 0:21Speaker 2: If you did see it, it was an interesting spectacle.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Moggie.
- 0:25Speaker 2: A lot of texts coming in on three, four eight
- 0:28Speaker 2: three and a lot of people.
- 0:29Speaker 3: No one's in favor of the fight. They saw. Everyone's
- 0:32Speaker 3: in agreeance that it was terrible. That's right, The boxing's crap.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Tyson's old, Jake Paul's a douche. But how good was it?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Not even to show at fifty bucks on pay per view?
- 0:40Speaker 3: That was great. I think that was awesome that it
- 0:42Speaker 3: was on Netflix.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I think this is going to be after the success
- 0:44Speaker 2: of that, this is going to be a regular occurrence.
- 0:48Speaker 3: This is going to have started something. Well, they've also
- 0:50Speaker 3: got Netflix has also bought x amount of spots x
- 0:53Speaker 3: amount of games of the NFL, so They've got the
- 0:56Speaker 3: Christmas Day EFL game, so that's huge. Just going to
- 1:00Speaker 3: get into it more and more and more. It makes
- 1:02Speaker 3: complete scenes. There are more households than anything else worldwide. Right, Yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 3: Tyson Paul fight, complete sham. The end of the eighth wind,
- 1:09Speaker 3: JP started bowing and thanking Tyson, which was out the gate.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Tyson could have just leved them with the world's greatest
- 1:15Speaker 3: to do. I don't think he could have. I don't
- 1:17Speaker 3: think it's not that anymore. He was exhausted. It was
- 1:21Speaker 3: absolutely exhausted after the force, which is fair.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Enough because as we're talking in the office, he's a
- 1:25Speaker 2: fifty eight year old dude who boxed for thirty forty years.
- 1:29Speaker 3: He's allowed to be tired and slow. Yeah he is.
- 1:32Speaker 3: But that's the thing. I just I keep going back
- 1:34Speaker 3: to those training videos and yeah, I don't know, man.
- 1:39Speaker 3: I'll tell you what.
- 1:39Speaker 2: They did a great job of making people think that
- 1:42Speaker 2: the fight would be a fight. Like that's the thing
- 1:44Speaker 2: is they did. They were great at telling you that
- 1:46Speaker 2: he's still got it, showing you the right stuff, so
- 1:48Speaker 2: many highlights, and then the.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Bottom corner would be like nineteen eighty eight, almost forty
- 1:53Speaker 3: years ago. Yeah, exactly. There's another one here. It says
- 1:58Speaker 3: also the only good entertained on last night's fight was
- 2:02Speaker 3: the ladies before the main event. They put on a
- 2:04Speaker 3: show girls. I'm assuming he means the ring girls.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Oh, I know, there was the female boxes the fight beforehand.
- 2:11Speaker 2: That was one hell of a fight.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Now, those two I believe had fought a couple of
- 2:15Speaker 2: years prior, and it had gone the distance and it
- 2:18Speaker 2: was just an absolute blood bar.
- 2:19Speaker 3: The same thing happened, however, Mogi.
- 2:21Speaker 2: That fight was a clear example of how sometimes in
- 2:25Speaker 2: boxing the results are complete BS.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And the entire world witnessed that. Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 2: One girl, Katie Martin, thirty eight from Ireland, very experienced fighter.
- 2:35Speaker 2: She spent the whole fight head butting the other check
- 2:37Speaker 2: intentionally opened up her eye. I've never seen someone's eyelid
- 2:40Speaker 2: hanging open like that. Yeah, that girl, that woman sorry,
- 2:44Speaker 2: landed more than one hundred punches on her. She was
- 2:47Speaker 2: the victim of dirty play, basically headbutting, and somehow she's
- 2:50Speaker 2: still lost.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that is just complete BS.
- 2:53Speaker 4: Yeah it was.
- 2:55Speaker 3: But you don't expect anything less to you. That's why
- 2:57Speaker 3: you say you never leave it in the hands of
- 2:58Speaker 3: the judges. Keys that's right yet. But I'll tell you
- 3:00Speaker 3: what those ring girls do. They look stoked, didn't They
- 3:02Speaker 3: couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces.
- 3:04Speaker 2: It's almost like they were paid to smile, Like even
- 3:05Speaker 2: if you even stop smiling for one second. So even
- 3:08Speaker 2: if the shot was quite and it's not like I
- 3:09Speaker 2: was looking out for the moment, even if it was
- 3:12Speaker 2: like a wide shot with fifty people in the shot,
- 3:14Speaker 2: you'd be able to see them eyeballing the camera.
- 3:17Speaker 3: That was on them with a big grin.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Somehow they knew how to find the camera. Yeah, which
- 3:21Speaker 3: is amazing. The cameraman knew how to find them. Certainly
- 3:24Speaker 3: great at that It was in Texas, and as I say,
- 3:26Speaker 3: everything was bigger in Texas, but I'm not sure everything
- 3:28Speaker 3: was better in Texas.
- 3:30Speaker 1: The Hoedarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 3:34Speaker 2: And Kisy It is a Huducky Big show twenty five
- 3:36Speaker 2: minutes past four, but a simple minds via the Achizi
- 3:38Speaker 2: and Moggie with the Hoodie Jay joining us on Thursday
- 3:41Speaker 2: when we're heading down to Shining Peak Brewing in Taranaki
- 3:44Speaker 2: for a live Show'm actually you do come along, Moggi
- 3:48Speaker 2: texts coming through still on three four eight three with
- 3:50Speaker 2: what people are wearing, keep them coming by the way,
- 3:53Speaker 2: and you could win yourself a two prize pack. Caleb
- 3:55Speaker 2: is wearing the usual backbone attire singlet and Stubbies nice
- 3:59Speaker 2: which is.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Do I still sell a stubby absolutely rugby league shorts.
- 4:04Speaker 3: It used to be at Warnocks, but I mean Stubbies, okay,
- 4:08Speaker 3: because they were a brand, right with Yeah, I'll google it.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I'll let you know, brother, Can you google that?
- 4:13Speaker 5: Man?
- 4:14Speaker 3: Can you google that? Man?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Okay, you're sweet ass, just on clothing actually, man, yeah, man,
- 4:20Speaker 2: And this is a segue, sweet man. Does your wife
- 4:25Speaker 2: does she ever wear your stuff?
- 4:27Speaker 3: My stuff?
- 4:28Speaker 2: You're clothing that no, Like you don't even walk out
- 4:30Speaker 2: and she's wearing your type black jeans and your type
- 4:32Speaker 2: white T shirt.
- 4:33Speaker 3: And I'm considerably a bigger unit than her though. Yeah,
- 4:38Speaker 3: you're massive here. I am well compared to my wife.
- 4:41Speaker 3: I'm massive as well. Yeah, you know, she's a little
- 4:43Speaker 3: thing as well. But we did a bit of a
- 4:46Speaker 3: clothing bin run. We went through our ship bogie, we
- 4:53Speaker 3: went through our drawers, we went through the wardrobe.
- 4:55Speaker 2: We cleared out all the stuff we don't wear anymore.
- 4:57Speaker 2: All the stuff that's you know, kind of out.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Of fashion you can't just keep.
- 5:06Speaker 2: It, is all the stuff you never wear, and it's like,
- 5:09Speaker 2: you know, I've won this in a year, I'm getting
- 5:10Speaker 2: rid of it. So I cleared all that was just excellent,
- 5:12Speaker 2: had about five big bags the Red Cross we donated it,
- 5:16Speaker 2: which was awesome. And then I noticed that and my
- 5:19Speaker 2: wife's half of the wardrobe was half of the stuff
- 5:21Speaker 2: I'd thrown out. So my wife is like picked up
- 5:24Speaker 2: an old denim jacket I don't ever wear anymore, a
- 5:25Speaker 2: few other things, some T shirts, and she's just started
- 5:30Speaker 2: dressing like me, but from a year ago.
- 5:33Speaker 3: And it's a really weird phenomenon, Like it's hot because
- 5:36Speaker 3: we yes stuff. Yeah, she kind of begging like jeans,
- 5:41Speaker 3: which I often wear in winter, and then like a
- 5:43Speaker 3: denim jacket like a cool retro tea or something. But
- 5:45Speaker 3: it's all she's dressing like me.
- 5:47Speaker 2: She's jeans, not she's wearing similar ones, so she's dressed
- 5:51Speaker 2: like me, but she's my wife.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and it's just a weird kind of situation to
- 5:56Speaker 3: be in.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I love it. She looks she's never a bitter. The
- 6:00Speaker 3: other day she's wearing like a pink jacket and some
- 6:02Speaker 3: orthopedic slippers, and I was like, oh, hello, does she
- 6:04Speaker 3: ever get your tapper on the shoulder? And she looked
- 6:07Speaker 3: over her shoulder. It didn't happen, actually, But I'm just wondering, like,
- 6:11Speaker 3: is that is it weird? Or is it is it
- 6:13Speaker 3: weird that you're more attractive to your attracted to your
- 6:15Speaker 3: wife now that she reminds you of yourself? Yeah, it's standard. Okay, good,
- 6:20Speaker 3: that's normal. Yeah, I reckon she'd looked great with a mustache. Well, yeah,
- 6:29Speaker 3: I mean you've seen you'd agree. Yeah, I mean there's
- 6:32Speaker 3: there's a hint of one starting. Yeah, just a hint.
- 6:40Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Show with Mike and Key. Tune
- 6:43Speaker 1: in week days and four on.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Radio hod Ich Green Day long View on The Ackey
- 6:47Speaker 2: Big Show, Keezy and Mogi Hoody Jo back with us tomorrow, Mogi,
- 6:52Speaker 2: I've got something written down here that just his shirt?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, what's that? It's pretty amazing little story. Brother.
- 6:59Speaker 3: You might have seen this across the news over the
- 7:01Speaker 3: last couple of days there. It's a harrowing tale really,
- 7:05Speaker 3: and probably a lesson for us all when it comes
- 7:07Speaker 3: to exercising. You would have seen the footage potentially, but
- 7:11Speaker 3: there was a woman who was in enjoying herself a
- 7:17Speaker 3: nice marathon there, and then during the marathon there's motorbikes.
- 7:21Speaker 3: You have the motorbikes, go on, they've got the cameraman
- 7:24Speaker 3: on them. I've got a motorbike. Oh yeah, yeah like
- 7:26Speaker 3: that camera. Yeah, they've got a camera man on Okay,
- 7:30Speaker 3: not a woman, not in this case a camera person
- 7:35Speaker 3: camera probably a better way to phrase it. Let me
- 7:37Speaker 3: firstly say I'm sorry almost camera person, not camera man
- 7:43Speaker 3: or woman. Anyway, this woman was running along and enjoying
- 7:47Speaker 3: a marathon. There, the cameraman's in front at about a
- 7:50Speaker 3: forty five degree angle, and all of a sudden the
- 7:54Speaker 3: competitor there. She starts talking to the camera person and
- 7:57Speaker 3: this is what we hear.
- 7:58Speaker 5: So the as hard as she couldish, you went fall
- 8:00Speaker 5: in myself. Okay, you don't get a thank you?
- 8:05Speaker 2: Sorry, right, So just confirming she said, I just shipped myself.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Can you not get my ass? Did you? Is that
- 8:12Speaker 3: what you know? You don't listen to me saying what
- 8:14Speaker 3: are you doing? Brother? No, that's not where this break
- 8:16Speaker 3: is going. Definitely not. No, that's not where it's Yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 3: that's exactly what she said. So she's run along, run
- 8:24Speaker 3: along there and has shared herself and then obviously doesn't
- 8:28Speaker 3: want that to be broadcast to the world. So she
- 8:31Speaker 3: said to the camera, a person, can you just stay
- 8:33Speaker 3: in front of me if you've got to keep the shot,
- 8:36Speaker 3: don't go behind me and get a vision of my
- 8:38Speaker 3: back door because it is it's looking like somebody has
- 8:41Speaker 3: kicked it in? Is that what she said? Okay?
- 8:44Speaker 2: And this is the this is the sort of conundrum
- 8:46Speaker 2: you're in because this is called runners bum. It's a
- 8:48Speaker 2: very common occurrence. It's never happened to me.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Yeah, well you only go five k barely, barely, like
- 8:55Speaker 3: three and a half. But even then, God, a former
- 8:58Speaker 3: colleague of mine used to run marathon and he was
- 9:01Speaker 3: saying it's runner's bum. In fact, he's head runners bumb
- 9:04Speaker 3: like once a month. He'll get it while practicing, right,
- 9:06Speaker 3: and he would just have to run into a bush
- 9:08Speaker 3: or something. And it's very familiar. So what's the symptoms here.
- 9:12Speaker 3: It's just you are on a run and you need
- 9:14Speaker 3: to do a perse. I don't know. Yeah, I think
- 9:16Speaker 3: it must be brought on by the stuff. Yet I
- 9:18Speaker 3: have no idea. It seems to me that the only
- 9:21Speaker 3: thing that it can be really is that you you
- 9:24Speaker 3: you desperately need to go to the toilet. Yeah, and
- 9:27Speaker 3: you're a you're in a running race and you quite
- 9:29Speaker 3: like to do well. And so you've got two options.
- 9:32Speaker 3: One you stop the race and go to a toilet. Yeah.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Two you just you just in your pants.
- 9:39Speaker 2: And so do you know which marathon this was like
- 9:41Speaker 2: wasn't like a proper full on it, Well, it wasn't
- 9:44Speaker 2: like a fun The fact that there was a camera
- 9:46Speaker 2: person in present, Yeah, that indicates to me that it
- 9:49Speaker 2: was televised. So she had a choice, do you want
- 9:52Speaker 2: the audio of me asking not to film me? Or
- 9:55Speaker 2: do you want footage of me with a dirty bomb?
- 9:57Speaker 2: And so she's gone for the audio. She's gone for
- 9:59Speaker 2: the audio. But I also think I don't think that
- 10:02Speaker 2: she would have thought that there would have been audio.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I think that you're more thinking that people are going
- 10:06Speaker 3: to see you running and that there'll be commentary over
- 10:09Speaker 3: the top of it. Yeah, okay. And the other part
- 10:11Speaker 3: of it is you were the vast majority of that
- 10:14Speaker 3: stuff that's recorded and that you see is not live,
- 10:17Speaker 3: like you'll see the leaders will be live. And she
- 10:19Speaker 3: would just assume that what are the chances that that
- 10:22Speaker 3: actually went out live. There's no way that went out live.
- 10:25Speaker 3: It would have been pre recorded. Then they made a
- 10:27Speaker 3: decision to play it because it's funny to us. That's right.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So it's a perfect break in the commentary to if
- 10:32Speaker 3: we listen again, sought as.
- 10:33Speaker 5: Hard as she could, and she went all in myself.
- 10:36Speaker 5: You don't get my as.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Yes, there's a perfect pause in the commentary as well.
- 10:41Speaker 3: And also and also what the commentator said, can we
- 10:43Speaker 3: play that back one more time? Sure?
- 10:45Speaker 5: Thought as hard as she could and she went all
- 10:47Speaker 5: in myself.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Yeah she has. She's gone all in she did and
- 10:52Speaker 3: all out. Yeah, amazing. I've never had any kind of
- 10:56Speaker 3: The worst I've probably done is puked, But I haven't
- 10:58Speaker 3: shat myself a marathon, well running a marathon. Yeah, you've
- 11:02Speaker 3: never run a marathon, have you? Dozen dozens The.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 11:09Speaker 6: And Kisey Typically they're on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 11:14Speaker 6: this Friday afternoon and Fellows. It's a significant day for
- 11:18Speaker 6: Hoodie Jake because I made a vow to myself and
- 11:21Speaker 6: my family overseas when I was over there this week
- 11:24Speaker 6: that i'd give up the darts.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Can you talk us through how it came to that.
- 11:28Speaker 6: I I've been I've been flirting with it for a
- 11:31Speaker 6: little while now, about ten years.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yeah, for about ten years.
- 11:34Speaker 3: I was sort of like you were that flight it.
- 11:36Speaker 6: But I I've sort of reached a point where enough
- 11:40Speaker 6: fair enough, and I figure I've got to give it
- 11:43Speaker 6: one last good go, last attempt. I'm going to give
- 11:48Speaker 6: it a genuine go. And I fought it was important
- 11:50Speaker 6: because I know we've banged on about the a fair
- 11:52Speaker 6: amount over our career, as you have, but I'm deadly
- 11:54Speaker 6: serious about this, and I felt it was important to
- 11:57Speaker 6: put it out there in the.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Public so that I can be hold account all.
- 12:01Speaker 6: The street, as opposed to just keeping it to myself
- 12:06Speaker 6: and not doing I don't.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Think we've ever had an aversion to making it public.
- 12:11Speaker 3: I mean, time we think we're going to do it,
- 12:13Speaker 3: we put it on here, and of course immediately it's
- 12:16Speaker 3: it's almost boy cries wolf stage. We must have given
- 12:20Speaker 3: up ten to fifteen times probably on the show alone
- 12:23Speaker 3: the last three years.
- 12:24Speaker 2: How about there's never been like not a punishment, but
- 12:26Speaker 2: a thing where if you do decide you are back
- 12:28Speaker 2: smoking again. Like you should have to take us all
- 12:31Speaker 2: out for dinner or something, you know what I mean,
- 12:33Speaker 2: like some sort of thing where you have to.
- 12:35Speaker 4: I'm prepared to do that. So that's a fair call.
- 12:38Speaker 3: We'll pick a restaurant.
- 12:39Speaker 4: Nothing, I'll pick the restaurant.
- 12:41Speaker 3: No no, no, no, no no no, We'll just it'll
- 12:44Speaker 3: just be a carry night, you know, carry no.
- 12:48Speaker 4: I'll agree to that, now, listen.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Our partners.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Yeah, sure, I.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Was going to do that one day anyway, and then
- 12:55Speaker 6: I went, yeah, right, I've got one cigarette left and.
- 13:00Speaker 4: I smoked that today. I'm just I'm contemplating. I think the.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Most appropriate place for me to have it is on
- 13:06Speaker 6: my deck out the front where I always have my
- 13:09Speaker 6: daries in full sunlight, and just really enjoy that one
- 13:13Speaker 6: last cigarette and then be done with it.
- 13:15Speaker 2: That is a really good final cigarette, right, Yes, that's
- 13:18Speaker 2: a good one, And so that's.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Gonna be your last memory of smoking, and you're gonna
- 13:21Speaker 3: be like, man, I'd love to do that again. Can
- 13:23Speaker 3: I do you have a shadder of a cigarette? Yeah?
- 13:25Speaker 3: I mean, but he's got to give up regardss. I
- 13:27Speaker 3: mean I thought I was you, Jays, I would I
- 13:29Speaker 3: would save that one for tomorrow. Morning because your favorite
- 13:31Speaker 3: cigarette of the day is the first one.
- 13:33Speaker 6: Well, I have two favorites of the day, the first
- 13:35Speaker 6: one of the day and then the one after the show, right,
- 13:39Speaker 6: and then I always you know, because you see.
- 13:40Speaker 3: You follow me in your and I light away.
- 13:43Speaker 6: So now I'm going to have it in the sun
- 13:45Speaker 6: on my deck this afternoon evening or this evening. Sorry,
- 13:50Speaker 6: and keep you informed of make bro.
- 13:54Speaker 3: I am gonna go.
- 13:55Speaker 4: What do you reckon?
- 13:56Speaker 5: Gi?
- 13:56Speaker 3: I don't think you'll see the year okay. And it's
- 14:00Speaker 3: just based on previous experience. Fair, and it's and it's
- 14:04Speaker 3: a real it's a sign of how hard it is
- 14:08Speaker 3: to give up smoking. Yes, when you think about how
- 14:10Speaker 3: much we hate it, Yes, and the fact that we've
- 14:14Speaker 3: not been able to give up and we are fairly
- 14:16Speaker 3: strong mentally individuals around it pretty much everything else. Yes,
- 14:19Speaker 3: And yet I can't. I just can't. I can't do it.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's I'd be the same, Okay.
- 14:24Speaker 2: My prediction is you do give it up, and then
- 14:26Speaker 2: when we come back and meet up again next year
- 14:28Speaker 2: after the summer holidays, you walk and reek into darts
- 14:31Speaker 2: and then we go out for Indian curry that night.
- 14:34Speaker 3: That's my prediction. I don't want it actually, yeah, I
- 14:37Speaker 3: want him to give it up. Yes, one hundred steid.
- 14:39Speaker 3: My worsh is that you never have another dart again
- 14:41Speaker 3: other than this last one on your deck. Yes, but
- 14:44Speaker 3: that's just my vibe based on the fourteen other times
- 14:46Speaker 3: you've tried to do this on you.
- 14:47Speaker 4: Okay, we'll see how we go, Fellous full.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Support Jason Man three four eight three as well if
- 14:52Speaker 3: anyone else wants to pledge their support and maybe join
- 14:56Speaker 3: in as well if there's something they need to give up.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Beautiful underwel old Man.
- 15:01Speaker 1: The Holdarkey Big Show with Jas, Mike and Keyzy. Tune
- 15:05Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarkey
