- 0:01Speaker 1: One of the last episodes we did, there was a
- 0:04Speaker 1: like a hum from one of the mics because the
- 0:06Speaker 1: cable got messed up, you know what I mean. And
- 0:08Speaker 1: I use one of those uh like noise things in
- 0:11Speaker 1: the in the yeah I think so yeah, and the
- 0:15Speaker 1: pro tools Bro, I didn't even have to do anything.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I just loaded the fucking plugin and it just fucking
- 0:21Speaker 1: took It was clarity maybe Clarity or something like that.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I never used that shit before, you know what I mean.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Bro, those are crazy and cap cut on desktop, that's
- 0:32Speaker 2: what I've been using. They have like yeah, then voice enhans.
- 0:38Speaker 2: So if you're talking like this but there's a crowd, bro,
- 0:40Speaker 2: the crowd just yeah, it's crazy. I'll take the other
- 0:43Speaker 2: track and then make it seem like I was recording
- 0:46Speaker 2: from the mic the whole time, and then the audience
- 0:48Speaker 2: isn't even like an issue. It's almost like you can
- 0:50Speaker 2: separate one audio and make it as if you had
- 0:54Speaker 2: two mics in the crowd. Like it's crazy.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Bro.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Yeah, We're getting into a weird time man, where technology.
- 1:02Speaker 2: I mean, you could definitely utilize it, like to make
- 1:05Speaker 2: it easier.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Not facts. Even with all that audio stuff, Like with music,
- 1:10Speaker 1: it was so hard, Bro, Like it was so I
- 1:13Speaker 1: mean not that it was so hard, it's just it
- 1:16Speaker 1: was very time consuming to do all these things before,
- 1:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like before that they had
- 1:21Speaker 1: these like AI elements to like the plugins and the
- 1:24Speaker 1: music apps and everything like that, where it's like you
- 1:27Speaker 1: can just take an audio that's kind of messed up
- 1:29Speaker 1: and literally it's not even a restoring, it's really like adding,
- 1:35Speaker 1: like because they're building on top of what you got there,
- 1:39Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Like my engineer earlier sent me,
- 1:43Speaker 1: like he ran one of my acapellas through Souno AI
- 1:47Speaker 1: and told it like, oh, make it a song kind
- 1:49Speaker 1: of like this, and sent me the clip and it's
- 1:52Speaker 1: just like my lyrics to song, like the same kind
- 1:55Speaker 1: of way I sung it, but like a different voice
- 1:57Speaker 1: in a different style, you know what I mean, just
- 2:00Speaker 1: from the piece of the acapella. Bro. Like, I'm like, Bro,
- 2:03Speaker 1: that's insane.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I think that's why everything just meant more back then too.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Everything it's all fast food now.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Bro. Like back in the day, Bro, I used
- 2:13Speaker 1: to like paint and draw and stuff, and I actually
- 2:17Speaker 1: had like a collection of stuff in the in one
- 2:19Speaker 1: of the like festivals in Disney, like I don't remember
- 2:22Speaker 1: if it was food and wine. I don't think it was.
- 2:24Speaker 1: There's like an art festival around that time that they loved,
- 2:27Speaker 1: and I have my collection of paintings and drawings and
- 2:30Speaker 1: stuff up there, and lately I've just been picking it
- 2:34Speaker 1: up more because it's like everything that you're seeing now,
- 2:37Speaker 1: even like what people are using them like promote, you know,
- 2:40Speaker 1: cover art flyers, all that stuff, everybody's using AI because
- 2:44Speaker 1: it doesn't make sense for you to take the time
- 2:47Speaker 1: to make it. I get that part, you know what
- 2:48Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like with how much content you got to
- 2:50Speaker 1: make now is different, you know what I mean. But
- 2:53Speaker 1: at the same time, like you're losing so much like personality.
- 2:57Speaker 2: With it, the human aspect of it.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and even like everything can look so clean though,
- 3:01Speaker 1: Like you know what I'm saying, Like if everybody's just
- 3:04Speaker 1: clean the high quality, you know, with like the same
- 3:08Speaker 1: resources and kind of utilizing them the same way, it's
- 3:12Speaker 1: like mad hard to even like enjoy it. Sometimes there's
- 3:15Speaker 1: no soul in it. Facts even like some of like
- 3:17Speaker 1: the regular podcasts that I listen to bro like, I've
- 3:20Speaker 1: been like tuning out of them because they haven't really
- 3:24Speaker 1: been evolving and like really engaging in the same way.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Maybe got like kind of stuck in a formula, you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: which is like I get it, because there's two sides
- 3:34Speaker 1: to it. Like one side is like give the people
- 3:36Speaker 1: what they want, but the other side is like you
- 3:39Speaker 1: also got to know when to like pivot and make
- 3:41Speaker 1: sure like that exactly.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah, people just don't like the story.
- 3:45Speaker 1: You gotta progress, you know what I mean.
- 3:47Speaker 2: No, for sure, I get I get caught up in
- 3:49Speaker 2: that sometimes with my writing too, and it's like, am
- 3:52Speaker 2: I just gonna be like writing this way for you know,
- 3:56Speaker 2: I try to give people a bunch of different stuff.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I feel like that's the other thing too, is like
- 3:59Speaker 2: verse utility. Yeah, we're talking about the fashion now. Like
- 4:03Speaker 2: my boys got on some real tree Nikes flexing. They're
- 4:08Speaker 2: fresh as hell. Fact, but it's like that I feel
- 4:10Speaker 2: like that wouldn't it wouldn't have happened until now.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Like so many companies have like these collabs. It's just
- 4:18Speaker 2: like the only way just like trying to have like
- 4:21Speaker 2: give the people what they want.
- 4:23Speaker 1: And come up with with some fresh stuff. Like the
- 4:25Speaker 1: collabs always come up with fresh stuff because you're blending too,
- 4:28Speaker 1: like already you know what I mean. But even like
- 4:31Speaker 1: going back to the stuff he was talking about with
- 4:32Speaker 1: the writing, I was like relating to that when you
- 4:36Speaker 1: were saying it, because even like with this project I'm doing,
- 4:40Speaker 1: I did it where like the beginning is like kind
- 4:42Speaker 1: of like the love song stuff that I usually do.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But then as it like transitions to the end, there's
- 4:47Speaker 1: like a different kind of sound that's not like the
- 4:50Speaker 1: typical kind of vibe that I'm on, you know what
- 4:52Speaker 1: I mean. But it's the same thing like going through stuff.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It'll fetch your writing a little bit, you know what
- 4:56Speaker 1: I mean. It always shows its way if you let it,
- 5:02Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like if if you let
- 5:03Speaker 1: it bleed in there, like it'll kind of like create
- 5:05Speaker 1: like a feeling of a moment, you know what I mean.
- 5:08Speaker 2: No, for sure, man, I'm hype to hear that.
- 5:11Speaker 1: The album. Yeah, man, I got like a few rough
- 5:14Speaker 1: cuts and then like Ian actually sent me like a
- 5:19Speaker 1: mix today, like of one of the songs. I'll play
- 5:21Speaker 1: you out clean. But yeah, I'm excited, bro, Like it's
- 5:24Speaker 1: it feels good when you're like locked in and confident too,
- 5:28Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Because it's like you be
- 5:31Speaker 1: locked in a lot of times and still working, but
- 5:33Speaker 1: like when you actually like feel like you're in the
- 5:36Speaker 1: zone with it and actually doing Like like AJ was
- 5:39Speaker 1: showing me like an artist that he works with a
- 5:42Speaker 1: project that they did shout out to young JC and
- 5:46Speaker 1: I was and he told me that some of the
- 5:47Speaker 1: music was like really recent, like recorded like in the
- 5:51Speaker 1: last month, like in a few of the tracks. You
- 5:53Speaker 1: know a good portion of the tracks, and it's like
- 5:56Speaker 1: you just catch that zone and you feel confident about it,
- 5:59Speaker 1: and it's it reflects, you know what I mean, like
- 6:02Speaker 1: and anything you do, like if you if you're showing
- 6:05Speaker 1: that you're confident in it and you know what you're doing,
- 6:08Speaker 1: like that's always gonna help the presentation, you know what
- 6:11Speaker 1: I mean.
- 6:11Speaker 2: No, for sure, especially on the performance side. But you're
- 6:15Speaker 2: your own worst critic. I'm guessing facts. So you know
- 6:20Speaker 2: when you trust your work and you're like because you're
- 6:25Speaker 2: such a negative critic on yourself, So it's beautiful when
- 6:28Speaker 2: you're finally like, oh, this is.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Something facts exactly know when you when you feel like Dan,
- 6:33Speaker 1: this is really something and you're usually usually tough, you
- 6:36Speaker 1: know what I mean, that's when it's like it feels special.
- 6:39Speaker 2: You know, That's what I mean, in that zone right now,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and then that makes you want to keep going because
- 6:44Speaker 2: now it's like you've gotten past all that like self
- 6:47Speaker 2: that self doubt or self critique, and it's like I'm
- 6:49Speaker 2: just gonna flow.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And even learning that like doing all the whax stuff
- 6:53Speaker 1: is matt crucial, you know what I mean, Like you
- 6:56Speaker 1: have to get the whax stuff out to know not
- 6:58Speaker 1: to do the wax stuff, yep, and then you just
- 7:01Speaker 1: expel at from your library and you move on to
- 7:04Speaker 1: something else, you know what I mean, like next and
- 7:06Speaker 1: the next time you come across that situation, you know,
- 7:08Speaker 1: I'm not going to go down this path because I
- 7:10Speaker 1: know that that don't work for me, right exactly. Mean,
- 7:13Speaker 1: Like that's why it's so important to just be on
- 7:15Speaker 1: top of like whatever you're doing. You know.
- 7:17Speaker 2: You well, that's the ten thousand hours facts, cause you're like, damn,
- 7:23Speaker 2: I've just been doing this so long. Like someone the
- 7:26Speaker 2: other day asked me. They were like, well, I was
- 7:28Speaker 2: home for the holidays. They were like, oh, you're like
- 7:31Speaker 2: you get like nervous on stage and stuff, and it's
- 7:34Speaker 2: like for years, yeah, but then now it's just like
- 7:40Speaker 2: I'm going, I'm going like to work, yeah, you know.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And that's the stuff that matters though, Like, and that's
- 7:45Speaker 1: something that I've actually talked about with Joe and like
- 7:48Speaker 1: earlier episodes, and he has the same kind of you too,
- 7:51Speaker 1: like with like skateboarding, bro, Like that's why I respect
- 7:54Speaker 1: skateboarding so much and I like skateboarding so much because
- 7:57Speaker 1: you can't fake it, you know what I mean. Now
- 8:00Speaker 1: you do it or you can't. You either got the
- 8:03Speaker 1: boss to do it or you don't, you know what
- 8:04Speaker 1: I mean. Like AJ showed me a few recent parts
- 8:07Speaker 1: that came out with different skaters like Chris Jocelyn just
- 8:10Speaker 1: one Trick of the Year with an insane, crazy, insane,
- 8:13Speaker 1: insane clip and it was just like, Bro, like these
- 8:17Speaker 1: dudes really just pushing it to the edge. And it was,
- 8:22Speaker 1: like I said, with skateboarding, Bro, he got it own video. Bro,
- 8:24Speaker 1: Like that's the proof right there. Nobody could take it
- 8:27Speaker 1: away from him. If you could do it, go do it,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and nobody's doing He's the only one that got that,
- 8:33Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 8:33Speaker 2: That's why like when they put the uh, like a
- 8:36Speaker 2: lot of these parts they'll put the like the bails,
- 8:39Speaker 2: the fails like in it like some nasty slams. Yeah,
- 8:44Speaker 2: like the eighth clip will be the trick landing, and
- 8:47Speaker 2: then you're like hype for the dude. I don't even
- 8:49Speaker 2: know the guy. He's like, oh, he finally.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And it's crazy because, like going back to like the
- 8:53Speaker 1: ten thousand hours thing, when you go to the skate park,
- 8:56Speaker 1: the dudes that are the best dudes, they aren't out
- 9:00Speaker 1: there like hitting moves all crazy. They're working on the
- 9:03Speaker 1: moves that they can't do. Oh for sure. I mean
- 9:06Speaker 1: like they're there the whole time, two hours straight trying
- 9:08Speaker 1: to hit this one move. Like this dude could do
- 9:11Speaker 1: a million moves, but this whole time he's working on
- 9:15Speaker 1: the one that he can't do.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Bag is deep still trying to do some.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Bro, And that's like, that's what I'm saying. That's the
- 9:21Speaker 1: thing about skateboarding that's so dope, Like you could just
- 9:23Speaker 1: be so nice and still just be like bro, nah,
- 9:27Speaker 1: there's I can still do this that.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Like bro yep, wow. Yeah, it's just that constant need
- 9:33Speaker 2: to like push yourself. Yeah, you know, you want to
- 9:35Speaker 2: collect all the all the infinity.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Still, that's something I think. I don't know if it
- 9:42Speaker 1: was Tony Hawker Seinfeld. I feel like it was one
- 9:44Speaker 1: of them too. What's saying like about comedians and skateboarders,
- 9:48Speaker 1: like that they like kind of respect each other because
- 9:51Speaker 1: it's like a similar grind, you know what I mean,
- 9:53Speaker 1: Like they're putting there, like they both understand putting the
- 9:57Speaker 1: time in and going through the lean time and sticking
- 10:00Speaker 1: through it like when it's not cool, you know what
- 10:02Speaker 1: I mean, Because comedy just like skateboard and goes through
- 10:05Speaker 1: cool phases, like sometimes it's cool to be a comedian,
- 10:08Speaker 1: sometimes it's not cool to be a comedian, depending on
- 10:10Speaker 1: when the wind's blowing, you know, Yeah, it depends only
- 10:12Speaker 1: if you're talking to your family. How how is that
- 10:16Speaker 1: bro telling your family you're gonna be a comedian?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Like, I mean, I think the only way it worked
- 10:22Speaker 2: was like I had to disdain towards my own family
- 10:25Speaker 2: when I got into it, So you know that kind
- 10:28Speaker 2: of helps too. That takes away like the oh what
- 10:31Speaker 2: what what are they gonna see? Yeah, so we're cool now.
- 10:38Speaker 2: But it was just like yeah, you just I remember
- 10:41Speaker 2: just telling people and then they would just be like, yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 2: but what are you really gonna do? Like that kind
- 10:46Speaker 2: of response.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I was dumb. I was one of them kids that
- 10:48Speaker 1: rebelled but for no reason, like like with no reason.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Like it wasn't for no reason, but like I just
- 10:54Speaker 1: rebelled and just like I'm like, let's do dumb ship
- 10:58Speaker 1: for a few years. I mean yeah, I wasn't like
- 11:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna be this or that. I was just like, bro,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna just be an idiot for a little bit.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I feel like you gotta do that though.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, everybody goes through that stage at some point, if
- 11:10Speaker 1: it's younger or older. You gotta do it when you're younger.
- 11:14Speaker 2: You can't be like sixty five be a scumback for
- 11:17Speaker 2: a couple of years.
- 11:19Speaker 1: I mention sixty five year old dude like I'm gonna
- 11:23Speaker 1: talk to girls I want now. He's like, what out help?
- 11:28Speaker 1: All right?
- 11:28Speaker 2: No, no, yeah, it's uh yeah, you gotta scally wag
- 11:33Speaker 2: scall just kind of making it happen.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yoh, it's funny. I was talking to my boy Quincy
- 11:38Speaker 1: the other day and just talking about how like back
- 11:41Speaker 1: in the day, coward was like the epitome. You know
- 11:44Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like, if somebody calls you a coward,
- 11:48Speaker 1: that was like the on site word bro, fist the
- 11:51Speaker 1: cuff like, and now we just say it like as
- 11:53Speaker 1: a joke, you know, like you're a coward, Like yeah, coward.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Everything goes through phases.
- 11:59Speaker 2: There's so much like I feel like they're bringing words
- 12:02Speaker 2: back now, like Bro, in two years, we're gonna be like,
- 12:05Speaker 2: golly even.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Like the stuff that people like, like for example, I
- 12:11Speaker 1: don't know, I don't even know how to describe this,
- 12:13Speaker 1: but just the idea that like before it was like yo,
- 12:16Speaker 1: if you was down to throw hands, like oh that
- 12:18Speaker 1: he's cool. Now if you're down to throw hands, you aggressive? Like, Bro,
- 12:23Speaker 1: what what's wrong with you? Bro? You know what I'm saying?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Like why you ain't nobody trying to fight while you're
- 12:27Speaker 1: trying to fight? You know what I mean? It's like
- 12:29Speaker 1: there's they always go through like little phases when stuff
- 12:32Speaker 1: is school, stuff is not cool, you know what I mean?
- 12:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like yeah, whoa his toxic masculinity? Yeah facts,
- 12:40Speaker 2: who knows that?
- 12:41Speaker 1: Bro?
- 12:41Speaker 2: Maybe like maybe like I'm the bad one for being
- 12:44Speaker 2: like everything's too soft.
- 12:46Speaker 1: No, I think it's just brouh. It's just history repeating
- 12:50Speaker 1: yourself every time. Bro, Everybody's always gonna feel that way
- 12:54Speaker 1: about the next generation. It's just gonna keep going and
- 12:57Speaker 1: keep going and keep going. Right. I don't think anybody actually,
- 13:01Speaker 1: like real deal respected any elder unless they knew they
- 13:06Speaker 1: directly were in some war, you know what I mean. Like,
- 13:10Speaker 1: if you knew your grandpa was a World War veteran,
- 13:14Speaker 1: then you was like, nah, he'd been through some ship.
- 13:17Speaker 1: But unless that was the case, you thought their life
- 13:21Speaker 1: was sweetest pie.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yeah, if grandpa hasn't gotten shot at or killed people, facts,
- 13:27Speaker 2: he was soft, Just fucking you don't got no respect
- 13:30Speaker 2: to his lifestyle. Bro, Let me his pie over there?
- 13:33Speaker 1: What he was a family man? Lame? Oh your boy
- 13:37Speaker 1: got murked? What's wrong with you?
- 13:39Speaker 2: Your draft?
- 13:40Speaker 1: Dodger draft? Yeah, that's crazy that that's mad, scary dog.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing. I'm glad it ain't happened
- 13:47Speaker 1: while I was young.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Bro, Bro, Well, that's why I'm getting at. Like when
- 13:51Speaker 2: you're like, well, he wants to fight, he's aggressive. What
- 13:54Speaker 2: if that's just like the evolution of like, you know,
- 13:56Speaker 2: everyone wants like peace and like kumbaya and stuff. But
- 14:00Speaker 2: what if it just gets to that point where it's like, yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 2: no one's fighting, bro, I don't know where one's arguing.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I don't know where I heard this, but I'm gonna
- 14:07Speaker 1: look it up to see if it's true, because it's
- 14:12Speaker 1: kind of like what you're talking about.
- 14:15Speaker 2: But then what would happen?
- 14:16Speaker 1: Bro? Okay, basically like you did you hear that raccoons
- 14:24Speaker 1: are starting to show signs of like domestication, Like I.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Believe it brother all over these yards and sometimes when
- 14:31Speaker 2: I get.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Up, then they're starting to get like like cute or
- 14:34Speaker 1: even like less rugged looking and less like aggressive looking
- 14:38Speaker 1: because they're realizing that they don't that that helps them
- 14:42Speaker 1: to look more nice, you know what I mean, because
- 14:44Speaker 1: people would rather give them food and you know, help
- 14:48Speaker 1: them out or take them in as pets or whatever.
- 14:50Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So like there's people are like speculating that raccoons are
- 14:55Speaker 1: going to be like the next wave of like pets.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Like if you have a raccoon that's like years or whatever.
- 15:00Speaker 1: People are just gonna have different like raccoons, you know,
- 15:03Speaker 1: like a I'm sure it's already like a racket terrier,
- 15:06Speaker 1: you know what I mean?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Like, Bro, someone has a leash on a raccoon, and
- 15:12Speaker 2: right now.
- 15:13Speaker 1: People have raccoons, Oh for sure. You just get like
- 15:15Speaker 1: a fifteen dollars permit and you can have a raccoon.
- 15:17Speaker 2: You still got to get a permit to have a raccoon.
- 15:19Speaker 1: But it's a mad cheap permit, you know what I mean.
- 15:21Speaker 1: You don't and you don't have to do nothing like
- 15:23Speaker 1: I think. You just have to get it as shots
- 15:25Speaker 1: and then get the fifteen dollars permit dog and you
- 15:27Speaker 1: can have a raccoon right now.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Bro, damn, but you can run on over for free facts.
- 15:33Speaker 1: But they say the cool thing about the raccoons is
- 15:35Speaker 1: they got hands, you know what I mean, like as
- 15:38Speaker 1: opposed to other pets. Oh for they actually got hands.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So like when you give them food and stuff, they
- 15:43Speaker 1: eat it like a person, you know what I mean?
- 15:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they do kind of like sit up like
- 15:47Speaker 2: they're their table manners.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Imagine having a raccoon in your crib, bro, I can't
- 15:52Speaker 1: that would be that would be typed dope.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I'm like, we're scared.
- 15:55Speaker 1: They're smart too, you know what I mean? Like they are, Bro,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'm crazy.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Bro. You know some of those apartments, I don't know
- 16:01Speaker 2: if I sleep though happened a raccoon.
- 16:05Speaker 1: That gotta be crazy. You asleep and there's a raccoon
- 16:08Speaker 1: loose in your house.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you would think he broke in, and then you
- 16:11Speaker 2: would see his name tag and be like, oh shit,
- 16:12Speaker 2: he's mine.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Be in your fridge. Imagine a raccoon with like the
- 16:20Speaker 1: little jingling collar thing, Like what would you put on
- 16:22Speaker 1: the collar because it can't be a bone, right, like
- 16:25Speaker 1: a trash can?
- 16:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but iced out trash just put his name on
- 16:30Speaker 2: the back.
- 16:30Speaker 1: That hard Charles.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But that is the only pet that would just actually
- 16:35Speaker 2: just get its own food, Like you don't have to
- 16:37Speaker 2: like feed it. Oh, you'd actually be pissed.
- 16:39Speaker 1: You would just have to have like stuff accessible for him,
- 16:42Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Nah, they're going to the fridge. Bro, they get into
- 16:46Speaker 2: People put bricks on top of their trash can lid
- 16:48Speaker 2: because the raccoons will get into your trash can and
- 16:51Speaker 2: then they get like they know how to just pop.
- 16:52Speaker 1: The bears too a mass smart like you could build
- 16:55Speaker 1: like a crazy contraption and a bear will figure it out.
- 16:58Speaker 1: And if you don't figure it out, he'll just like
- 17:00Speaker 1: this boom and it's done.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Bears just doing word searches, trying to solve your puzzles.
- 17:07Speaker 1: But bro, raccoon would be actually imagining a bear locking in,
- 17:10Speaker 1: Like you know how they say you lock in and
- 17:11Speaker 1: do the face. I d the bear just locks in,
- 17:16Speaker 1: get past the scanners.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Red the scin nah man. A raccoon would just be
- 17:23Speaker 2: a shitty roommate, bro, like because it would just eat
- 17:25Speaker 2: all your chips and squawk and shit and you just
- 17:27Speaker 2: wake up and be like, damn, bro, you ate everything
- 17:30Speaker 2: you know?
- 17:30Speaker 1: And that's true what you said. I didn't think about. Like,
- 17:32Speaker 1: he's gonna get in the fridge, the cabinets, the pantry.
- 17:36Speaker 1: You have no choice, bro.
- 17:38Speaker 2: He'll get in your room.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Dog.
- 17:40Speaker 2: They like where the chips at. I knew they were
- 17:42Speaker 2: under your pillow.
- 17:44Speaker 1: You probably opened the door in the middle of the night,
- 17:46Speaker 1: get into bed and tuck himself in, you know what
- 17:48Speaker 1: I mean.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Yeah, raccoon would be a little a little demon dog.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I lived in Orlando like a few years ago, and
- 17:55Speaker 2: they had like that valet trash service where you just
- 17:57Speaker 2: put your house trash can like out. It's someone will
- 18:00Speaker 2: come up the stairs and after everyone's thing disaster service.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I had a boy that was like three hundred pounds
- 18:06Speaker 1: and he got a job doing that, and that boy
- 18:08Speaker 1: has been slim ever since. What he got that job
- 18:11Speaker 1: when he was like twenty or something like that and
- 18:14Speaker 1: lost mad weight. Yeah, he just kept it off.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Bro, it's like sixteen an hour to be David Goggins, Like,
- 18:20Speaker 2: you gotta go up like five flights and stairs.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Bro, it's insane. And he was like, you gotta do
- 18:26Speaker 1: it fast because if now you're gonna be there all day, Yeah, you.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Don't get and it's like, yeah, you only you have
- 18:31Speaker 2: to hit like other complexes to actually make money.
- 18:33Speaker 1: So that's insane, man. Dog.
- 18:35Speaker 2: But this raccoon, I heard like a bunch of noise
- 18:37Speaker 2: and like shit falling over. So I looked at the
- 18:39Speaker 2: people and like the raccoon hit a lick on my
- 18:42Speaker 2: trash can and I went outside and I was like
- 18:45Speaker 2: I just went like that bro took off running and
- 18:49Speaker 2: then I was like about to go back into my apartment,
- 18:51Speaker 2: and he just peeked his head around the corner, dog
- 18:53Speaker 2: mad fast, and it scared the fuck out of me. Bro.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I jumped back into my I like, I put my
- 18:58Speaker 2: hands up brough. I thought I was about to have
- 18:59Speaker 2: like kick this thing, and then it came running towards
- 19:03Speaker 2: the door like it was like just charging to like
- 19:06Speaker 2: get the rest of my food crazy. And then since
- 19:08Speaker 2: then I was like that one wasn't that one wasn't cute,
- 19:12Speaker 2: but maybe you you got like it's hair like a
- 19:14Speaker 2: fresh lineup.
- 19:15Speaker 1: But that's why, that's what I'm saying, Like the new ones,
- 19:17Speaker 1: they're just gonna start, you know, round it, like the
- 19:20Speaker 1: fur is gonna be a little softer, like you're gonna
- 19:23Speaker 1: figure it out. You're gonna have the rounder face, you
- 19:25Speaker 1: know what I mean. That's that's crazy though, Like I said, Bro,
- 19:29Speaker 1: twenty years from now, it could be like just people
- 19:31Speaker 1: with raccoons.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Raccoon's doing push ups trying to get like trying to
- 19:36Speaker 2: get aesthetic. Yeah, no, you're right, bro. Five years some
- 19:41Speaker 2: chick in La is gonna have a raccoon in a
- 19:42Speaker 2: Louis bag, just like popping out.
- 19:45Speaker 1: It's gonna be the new La Boo Boo or whatever.
- 19:47Speaker 2: The fuck those things are called.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You know, imagine a raccoon in one of them like
- 19:53Speaker 1: suits that that Red Bull guyd be wearing.
- 19:55Speaker 2: The wingsuit y. Yeah, yeah, that's how we jump off
- 19:59Speaker 2: your fridge. I don't trust raccoons, man.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Yeah. Fact, at first, I was like, yeah, that'd be
- 20:07Speaker 1: cool to have a raccoon. But then when you think
- 20:09Speaker 1: about it, like, it's like, nah, Bro, they too independent. Bro,
- 20:12Speaker 1: they too It's like having a grown man at your crib.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You have two grown men. I'm gonna have to start
- 20:20Speaker 1: charging you for rent or something. Just tearing through groceries. Bro,
- 20:24Speaker 1: you want to hear a crazy story. One time I
- 20:28Speaker 1: had a homie in town like that I hadn't seen
- 20:30Speaker 1: in a while. Bro, Like me and him grew up together,
- 20:33Speaker 1: and he moved to Virginia, like maybe more than five
- 20:37Speaker 1: years ago, and I haven't seen him since. He pulled
- 20:39Speaker 1: up to visit, comes to the crib, we're talking, chopping
- 20:43Speaker 1: it up. We go outside. When we come back inside,
- 20:49Speaker 1: my wife has a parrot. The bird was loose, so
- 20:52Speaker 1: when we opened the door, the bird just flies out,
- 20:55Speaker 1: like out the back door dog. And I'm like, oh my,
- 20:59Speaker 1: you know immediately, I'm like that bird's gone, bro, Like
- 21:02Speaker 1: we never gonna see it again. It was like getting
- 21:06Speaker 1: close to like sunset, and like he was like flying
- 21:10Speaker 1: around like the trees kind of in the front of
- 21:12Speaker 1: the neighborhood. They were trying to like get him to
- 21:15Speaker 1: come back. He kind of came back to like the backyard,
- 21:18Speaker 1: but then just dipped again, went to another tree, and
- 21:21Speaker 1: then when he went to that other tree, the sun
- 21:24Speaker 1: start going down and they can't see at night, so
- 21:26Speaker 1: they just like hide in the corner, right. Yeah, So
- 21:29Speaker 1: we just had to assume like he just whatever tree
- 21:32Speaker 1: he was in, he just backed up. And I'm like,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I'm thinking in my head like dog owls, falcons, eagles, hawks, Like,
- 21:44Speaker 1: I mean, this is a little little parrot, bro Like
- 21:47Speaker 1: maybe this big you know, maybe like eight inches tenant
- 21:50Speaker 1: at that, you know what I mean, Like a pigeon
- 21:54Speaker 1: from New York maybe could pull up on him and
- 21:56Speaker 1: take him out, you know.
- 21:57Speaker 2: What, would hit it with a tim Yeah.
- 22:00Speaker 1: We just stomp him out in the tree, you know
- 22:02Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Right on the L train.
- 22:05Speaker 1: So we were looking, we're looking online and it's basically
- 22:09Speaker 1: like yo, like you just have to rely on like
- 22:11Speaker 1: how smart the bird is and how much he knows,
- 22:14Speaker 1: like that he's around like his house, you know what
- 22:16Speaker 1: I mean. Like it's kind of like an up in
- 22:18Speaker 1: the air thing.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yo, what's his SAT score?
- 22:20Speaker 1: Bro?
- 22:21Speaker 2: He's not coming home.
- 22:22Speaker 1: So, like they said, your best chance is go out
- 22:26Speaker 1: directly at sunrise and try to like go where he
- 22:30Speaker 1: was last. Go directly at sunrise and hope he comes
- 22:33Speaker 1: to you. Right, we did that. Obviously it didn't work,
- 22:37Speaker 1: didn't do anything. I'm like, damgn bro, Like, I'm like
- 22:41Speaker 1: feeling bad, you know what I'm saying. Because my wife
- 22:44Speaker 1: is feeling bad, my daughter's feeling bad, my son feeling bad.
- 22:47Speaker 1: They're all sad, but low key. I'm like, I hate
- 22:50Speaker 1: that bird, bro. So I'm like, man if if the
- 22:53Speaker 1: bird don't come back, I'd be sad for them, you
- 22:57Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like I feel for the fam,
- 23:00Speaker 1: but me personally, dog, I'm chilling. I am chilling, bro.
- 23:05Speaker 2: So yo.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So I go to the shop and then my daughter
- 23:12Speaker 1: hit us up in the family chat like yo, somebody
- 23:15Speaker 1: told me they seen the bird's names Kiwi. Somebody told
- 23:18Speaker 1: me they seen Kiwi and the rafters at the school.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Was at school and they seen the bird and the rafters. Bro.
- 23:25Speaker 1: She posted them on her story the night the night before,
- 23:28Speaker 1: like on Instagram, like, yo, if anybody sees my bird,
- 23:31Speaker 1: you know whatever whatever. So the school, the kids at
- 23:34Speaker 1: school already like knew, so they already like called like
- 23:37Speaker 1: they called her over the intercom like yo. She went over.
- 23:41Speaker 1: They told her, Yo, that is that your bird? It
- 23:44Speaker 1: was the bird he's like in the in like the
- 23:45Speaker 1: little rafters and the trees in the courtyard. He went
- 23:48Speaker 1: like to some kids even you know what I mean.
- 23:52Speaker 1: But then he like flew away, like to another part
- 23:54Speaker 1: of the school. So yo, the school, they shut down
- 23:59Speaker 1: the courtyard what like real, this was two real shutting shit.
- 24:03Speaker 1: They shut down the courtyard, took all the kids out
- 24:07Speaker 1: and let my daughter go out there because he was
- 24:10Speaker 1: in one of the trees to try to get him
- 24:11Speaker 1: to come without all the people around and stuff. Bro. Somehow,
- 24:15Speaker 1: the bird goes to her shoulder. She goes into like
- 24:17Speaker 1: one of the band rooms or something and closes the
- 24:20Speaker 1: door because I was on face somewhere, and she's like,
- 24:22Speaker 1: I got him. I got him. I'm like, oh yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 1: I couldn't believe we got him back, Bro. I went
- 24:28Speaker 1: and grabbed the cage and went to the school. You know,
- 24:30Speaker 1: they took my I D and stuff to let me in,
- 24:32Speaker 1: but I went with the cage, put him in the cage,
- 24:34Speaker 1: brought him home like I could. Yo. He spent a
- 24:36Speaker 1: whole night outside. The thing is the school is like
- 24:39Speaker 1: in my backyard, like literally, like the fence is.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Her school for real.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So yeah, over there, the thing is there be mad
- 24:46Speaker 1: birds and they always congregate at the school. Like every
- 24:50Speaker 1: morning you hear mad birds in that area. And the
- 24:52Speaker 1: craziest thing was that she when the bird first left, Bro,
- 24:58Speaker 1: she said, dang, how will I catch it if it
- 25:01Speaker 1: shows up at my school? That was the first thing
- 25:05Speaker 1: she said, Bro. And in my head, I'm like, she's insane. Dog,
- 25:09Speaker 1: this bird is not going to show up at her school.
- 25:11Speaker 1: This bird is gone. It's gonna get eaten by an
- 25:13Speaker 1: owl overnight. He's gonna be in an owl stomach by
- 25:15Speaker 1: six a m. Bro. Kwi's got street cred now, Bro.
- 25:20Speaker 1: He came back mad humble Bro. Yeah, yeah, he was
- 25:23Speaker 1: like on his high horse getting spoiled. Bro. When he
- 25:26Speaker 1: came back, Dog, he was a different man. Bro. He
- 25:30Speaker 1: hated my son before he left, and when he came back,
- 25:33Speaker 1: my son was his favorite person. But he went through something,
- 25:37Speaker 1: for sure, Bro, for sure. For sure. One night in
- 25:40Speaker 1: the dead as he I guess he must have thought
- 25:44Speaker 1: it wasn't that good at the crib and then he
- 25:46Speaker 1: went outside and he's like, I'm straight on that he
- 25:49Speaker 1: realized he's a house bird. That's crazy built for.
- 25:53Speaker 2: That house bird. Yeah, man, fine, really ain't my ship?
- 25:57Speaker 1: Bro?
- 25:58Speaker 2: I rather just chilling the crib.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Laid back. These seeds pretty good.
- 26:04Speaker 2: They got music. Yeah.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Talk, Yeah, he talks, and he's he learns like he's
- 26:12Speaker 1: been learning a lot that morning. Morning, good morning.
- 26:18Speaker 2: For real, bro, Because I was gonna say I was
- 26:21Speaker 2: waiting for that part of the story where we heard
- 26:23Speaker 2: him in the tree.
- 26:24Speaker 1: We we we hoped, but I thought it was I'm
- 26:27Speaker 1: telling you, I thought he was cooked, bro. Cooked. I
- 26:30Speaker 1: thought he was done. Bro. I can't believe we got
- 26:34Speaker 1: him back. And when we got him back, I was like, hey,
- 26:37Speaker 1: I guess he's back.
- 26:39Speaker 2: He must have saw something. Facts it would have been
- 26:42Speaker 2: crazy to like, no, yo, he went through.
- 26:45Speaker 1: What happened to you at the hibachi spot? Oh man?
- 26:49Speaker 1: I got so.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I got sushi other night right and it was a
- 26:53Speaker 2: spot I've never been to. It was done and it
- 26:55Speaker 2: was down in Melbourne, and uh where I go in
- 26:59Speaker 2: and like it's a really nice sushi just like a
- 27:02Speaker 2: regular sushi bar, but like it was nice, like the
- 27:04Speaker 2: wood all that shit. Yeah, Bro, she's down at the bar.
- 27:07Speaker 2: That's why I usually go with the sushi spot. Hanging
- 27:10Speaker 2: out with this chick. My first time at the restaurant
- 27:15Speaker 2: behind the behind the sushi bar are like young white kids, bro,
- 27:19Speaker 2: like twenty one, twenty two, And immediately I'm like, bro,
- 27:22Speaker 2: fuck this place, dog, because that's my racism. Like I
- 27:25Speaker 2: just want you to be in the kitchen you're supposed
- 27:27Speaker 2: to be in, you know what I mean, whites included, Bro, Like,
- 27:30Speaker 2: get the fuck go to fuck beat ups, dog, get
- 27:33Speaker 2: in the kitchen there, don't don't be at the sushi spot.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Bro.
- 27:37Speaker 2: I want to see like a ninety year old, Like
- 27:39Speaker 2: I want to see like a three hundred year old
- 27:41Speaker 2: mister Miyagi, like with the headman with the career hundred
- 27:44Speaker 2: with like the Japanese flag on it on the headband
- 27:47Speaker 2: and just like mad that we're there, bro, because like
- 27:50Speaker 2: he shot my grandpa back in like the forties. Like
- 27:53Speaker 2: that's the kind of that's the energy I want, bro,
- 27:55Speaker 2: like him being like I hate these whites, but I'm
- 27:58Speaker 2: gonna make them sushi because this is how I send money,
- 28:01Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Like that kind of energy, Bro,
- 28:04Speaker 2: that's the best sushi. So I see these white kids
- 28:07Speaker 2: and I'm just like, Bro, I'm telling this chick. I'm like, bro,
- 28:09Speaker 2: there's no way this.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Place that sushi ain't been through nothing like there's.
- 28:11Speaker 2: No way this is gonna be good. Like this kid's
- 28:14Speaker 2: playing Fortnite when he goes home. He doesn't care about
- 28:16Speaker 2: how tight the role is. And like the history and
- 28:20Speaker 2: the art form of it. The menu was even more offensive, bro,
- 28:25Speaker 2: Boba fet role like Star Wars names and shit I'm
- 28:28Speaker 2: recognizing like weird like movie title names, like they're just
- 28:32Speaker 2: they complete joke to them.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Bro.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Like everyone like, there's no way this place is gonna
- 28:36Speaker 2: be good. Everything was Japanese, but everything else, you know
- 28:40Speaker 2: what I mean? It was like true cultural appropriation. One
- 28:44Speaker 2: of the roles was a borry borry good role. B
- 28:48Speaker 2: you r I b u r I good. Dog. I
- 28:51Speaker 2: read that out loud and just was immediately like, Yo,
- 28:54Speaker 2: this racist as fuck.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Dog.
- 28:56Speaker 2: You know what, maybe me more mad best sushi I
- 28:58Speaker 2: ever had my life. Dog. I hate that fucking place, bro,
- 29:02Speaker 2: But it was so good. Bro. I don't know what
- 29:05Speaker 2: they were doing back there. They must have had an
- 29:07Speaker 2: Asian guy in the backpack or he or those little
- 29:10Speaker 2: white kids were taught like the Three Ninjas.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Yeah that movie, Bro, They probably just watched them TikTok videos.
- 29:20Speaker 1: The dude you're describing the three hundred year old dude
- 29:23Speaker 1: somebody put a series out of him on TikTok and
- 29:27Speaker 1: he showed all the secrets. Bro.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Fuck Bro, it was Bro. I'm telling you it was
- 29:32Speaker 2: the best hush she I've ever had.
- 29:34Speaker 1: Bro. My own neighbor. But when I pulled up to
- 29:38Speaker 1: his house one time, we was chilling them, we were smoking,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and he's like, Yo, you've ever seen these videos? Oh,
- 29:44Speaker 1: this dude in the forest just building like a house
- 29:47Speaker 1: and a pool and stuff. I'm like nah, And he's
- 29:50Speaker 1: like that and he just puts it on and I'm like,
- 29:53Speaker 1: what the fuck am I watching? But I was mad
- 29:55Speaker 1: invested five minutes in Bro. The best video Yo, insane Bro,
- 30:00Speaker 1: just by hands just slapping together dirt and leaves and
- 30:03Speaker 1: making a freaking whole house duel and a deck and everything. Bro.
- 30:07Speaker 2: The pool is like something you've never seen. Like it's
- 30:09Speaker 2: got like stairs. You want to skate it, Like they're
- 30:13Speaker 2: filling with water. I'm like, Bro, there's no way they
- 30:16Speaker 2: just did this with with their hands.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Man, those videos are crazy. It'd be like four am
- 30:23Speaker 2: and you're like, what am I watching? No fact, like
- 30:26Speaker 2: you spent hours watching the time lapse of them.
- 30:29Speaker 1: But that's the thing too, bro, like and I think
- 30:31Speaker 1: it's a good place to kind of like end it.
- 30:33Speaker 1: If the content is good and high quality, and you
- 30:36Speaker 1: know they like and they're confident and they putting a
- 30:38Speaker 1: foot in it, it works, you know what I mean.
- 30:42Speaker 1: If you you see this dude and you're like, dang,
- 30:44Speaker 1: he going in, Bro, if he was there building a
- 30:47Speaker 1: sand castle, you would have been like, I'm good on
- 30:49Speaker 1: this ship, you know what I mean?
- 30:50Speaker 2: He was, Bro. A pool is crazy.
- 30:54Speaker 1: A pool in the middle of the rainforest, Bro, just
- 30:57Speaker 1: just one guy just you know, if you ain't seen it,
- 30:59Speaker 1: he like just makes like bricks from like what's out
- 31:02Speaker 1: in the forest and rips out leaves and makes like
- 31:06Speaker 1: reinforcements and everything fits, takes the wood from that that's
