- 2:03Speaker 3: sensible young man.
- 2:04Speaker 4: You are, Jason.
- 2:05Speaker 3: You look great, mate. And you said you were going
- 2:07Speaker 3: to stop wearing hats because you've decided you got lovely hair. Yes,

- 2:12Speaker 4: Thank Yeah.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I've just got to apologize to you fellus. They didn't
- 2:14Speaker 2: wear the boots today. They're not in the rotation for
- 2:16Speaker 2: the Monday.
- 2:17Speaker 3: That's no drums and so i'd actually forgotten about them.
- 2:20Speaker 2: So I'll be wearing the beats tomorrow.
- 2:23Speaker 4: First thing, I checked what I walked in today.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Oh, I was buddy, I wore them all weekend.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Phellows. Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And if you're just joining us, you don't know what
- 2:29Speaker 3: we're talking about. Jason's got a ridiculous new pair of boots. Yeah,
- 2:32Speaker 3: a beige color by like them.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Oh who doesn't. Yeah, because I.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Said I would stop insulting them.
- 2:38Speaker 4: They're real head turners.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Yeah they are, Yeah, in a good way.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of head turning, what's coming up on the show, Mogi.
- 2:47Speaker 2: What's happening on the Big Show with Old.
- 2:49Speaker 5: Mogis The winner for the massive Export Ultra bergaud and
- 2:54Speaker 5: Tour will be announced this Wednesday, eight fifteen or eight
- 2:57Speaker 5: forty five in the morning, I think on the Breakfast
- 2:59Speaker 5: Show the feeling you're gonna have to turn in too
- 3:01Speaker 5: find out. So only a couple of days left to
- 3:02Speaker 5: get into that drawstation for the que to call. And
- 3:06Speaker 5: also fellas we've got Charlie Gubb will be chating a
- 3:08Speaker 5: little bit of one.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah, man.
- 3:10Speaker 5: We are also going to be chatting a little bit
- 3:12Speaker 5: of the Third Test England versus the black Caps over
- 3:16Speaker 5: there at Trent Bridge. Ben Stokes extraordinary day of cricket,
- 3:21Speaker 5: an absolutely unbelievable day of cricket. Ben Stokes has retired
- 3:25Speaker 5: mid test. Yeah so that's unheard of mid tests.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Yes, very odd.
- 3:30Speaker 3: And so even for non cricketing fans, this is an
- 3:33Speaker 3: interesting situation.
- 3:34Speaker 5: Do you know what to be like, Kezy, It would
- 3:36Speaker 5: be like Addie Savia announcing it halftime right during a
- 3:42Speaker 5: spring springbox test that he was that he was he
- 3:45Speaker 5: was quitting the game and that was going to be
- 3:46Speaker 5: his last.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Game when he's still playing, still playing. Oh wow.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Do you know what it'd be like, Fellas well, it'd
- 3:51Speaker 2: be like a hoody j in the middle of the
- 3:54Speaker 2: opening slot of the show said, Fellas, I'm doone. This
- 3:57Speaker 2: is my last voice break.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, but been Stokes probably had a lot left to do, right, Yeah,
- 4:02Speaker 3: that's a difference.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Jace, come back where you going, Joss, You've got it.
- 4:06Speaker 5: You've got to announce a song man, because how it's
- 4:09Speaker 5: your job man. No one will no, it's the chillis Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Hodarky Velvet Revolver. There on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 4:20Speaker 2: This Monday afternoon and the time is exactly fifteen minutes
- 4:24Speaker 2: past four o'clock now follows. What a day of sporting history. Yesterday,
- 4:30Speaker 2: I think it was the fourth day of the third
- 4:32Speaker 2: Test match, the deciding Test match of the series between
- 4:35Speaker 2: New Zealand and England, and drama just doesn't cover it, Nogi.
- 4:40Speaker 5: It was unbelievable, wasn't it. I tuned in and saw
- 4:45Speaker 5: that Ben Stokes, the great New Zealander. Yes, Ben Stokes
- 4:49Speaker 5: should have been playing for New Zealand, but playing for England.
- 4:52Speaker 5: The great captain, the orchestrated, the architect, alongside Brenda McCallum,
- 4:57Speaker 5: mitte talisman of besball had retired. And very odd because
- 5:02Speaker 5: it was sort of announced to his teammates prior to
- 5:05Speaker 5: the day's play starting and announced to the rest of
- 5:08Speaker 5: the world around about tea time on day four of
- 5:10Speaker 5: the third and deciding Tests. Yes, got to be something
- 5:14Speaker 5: of an distraction, you'd imagine. But Ben Stakes, I think
- 5:17Speaker 5: it's bloody sare because I don't think he wants to stop.
- 5:20Speaker 5: I think it's the circus that surrounds him being in
- 5:23Speaker 5: the team. And then he was sort of had a
- 5:25Speaker 5: bit of drama the other week when he was out
- 5:26Speaker 5: drinking past midnight after the end of a Test match, yes,
- 5:31Speaker 5: which is slightly odd.
- 5:32Speaker 2: It is odd. Yeah, methinks there is something else afoot here.
- 5:37Speaker 2: And my only because I was watching it and when
- 5:40Speaker 2: it was announced, you know, about midway through that foreth afternoon,
- 5:43Speaker 2: it was what a bizarre time to announce your retirement.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And my only thought was is he pre empting something here?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Is there something going on that we don't know about
- 5:55Speaker 2: and he wants to get it out there before it
- 5:56Speaker 2: all comes out. And I'm not suggesting for a moment
- 5:59Speaker 2: that it's a thing or a terrible thing. Maybe just
- 6:02Speaker 2: that he wanted to get it out before anyone else
- 6:04Speaker 2: announced it.
- 6:05Speaker 3: As I've heard, like to him and Bears have beef
- 6:08Speaker 3: or anything like.
- 6:09Speaker 5: That, that's what they're talking about. And probably it seemed
- 6:12Speaker 5: like at the eshes last year Ben Stokes wasn't playing
- 6:16Speaker 5: to the rules of Bears wall, which is really attacking
- 6:20Speaker 5: confident cricket. He's sort of when the rest of the
- 6:22Speaker 5: team was playing that way, that the way that they
- 6:24Speaker 5: had played for the last few years, Stokes went out
- 6:27Speaker 5: to the crease and was blocking and leaving balls, which
- 6:30Speaker 5: wasn't really the way. So there's been talk about that.
- 6:32Speaker 5: God knows why. I think it's a shame. I remember
- 6:36Speaker 5: when their sort of tenure began, and it was four
- 6:39Speaker 5: years ago, and it was about the same time they
- 6:42Speaker 5: had been getting absolutely smashed. They'd won one test out
- 6:46Speaker 5: of their previous seventeen wow, and then Bears took Brenda
- 6:50Speaker 5: McCallum took over, and then New Zealand went over for
- 6:53Speaker 5: a three tier series and we were sort of looking
- 6:55Speaker 5: to try and get to the World Test Championship again.
- 6:57Speaker 5: We thought, you, beauty three mill at home over there,
- 7:00Speaker 5: and we got absolutely hammered. Bean We ended up being there,
- 7:05Speaker 5: as we often are the cause of a change of
- 7:09Speaker 5: fortunes for some teams. They went on a nine and
- 7:13Speaker 5: won the next nine out of ten tests. So there's
- 7:16Speaker 5: some kind of poetry here that we are the team
- 7:18Speaker 5: that is going to bring the death knell to Baarsball.
- 7:20Speaker 5: I'd imagine Brenda mcallum's got to go as well.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, well, it'll be interesting to see what happens at
- 7:24Speaker 2: the end of this Test match because it looks like
- 7:26Speaker 2: New Zealand's very much favored to win it. And let's
- 7:29Speaker 2: not forget actually what else you know, the outstanding play
- 7:32Speaker 2: of New Zealand. Mitchell was just extraordinary. He got hit
- 7:37Speaker 2: so many times he's probably got about fifty broken fingers.
- 7:40Speaker 2: He got hit in the head, he got hit in
- 7:42Speaker 2: the chest, he got hit in the hip, he got
- 7:44Speaker 2: hit everywhere. It was such a gutsy hundred and all
- 7:48Speaker 2: of the New Zealanders, two of our fast bowlers getting
- 7:51Speaker 2: massive finger injuries as well. Another one can Cast had
- 7:54Speaker 2: to leave the match. It's just been all on for
- 7:57Speaker 2: young and old fail and.
- 7:58Speaker 5: The beauty of Test match cricket. Yes, you know, it's
- 8:01Speaker 5: just head and shoulders above any other form. It's magnifson.
- 8:04Speaker 5: I'll be up tonight. There's just no way that England
- 8:06Speaker 5: can win this. But then you say that, don't you. Yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 5: so I think we've got to get six wickets and
- 8:11Speaker 5: they need two hundred and seventy odd runs I think
- 8:13Speaker 5: from memory, yes, that's a big ask. So and then
- 8:16Speaker 5: Ben Stokes came out and just started slogging. Yes, I
- 8:19Speaker 5: think his second shot he went for was a reverse sweep.
- 8:23Speaker 5: So absolutely it got thirty odd off twenty.
- 8:25Speaker 2: But you know, I felt it was a little bit
- 8:28Speaker 2: unfortunate that he made it all about him, though I agree,
- 8:33Speaker 2: and you know, particularly in New Zealand just stuck to
- 8:35Speaker 2: their guns, kept playing tough, hard Test cricket and it
- 8:38Speaker 2: looks like they're going to be victorious. But it's going
- 8:41Speaker 2: to be fascinating at the end of this Test match
- 8:44Speaker 2: to see what the fallout is going to be through
- 8:46Speaker 2: all of this.
- 8:46Speaker 4: There must be something, right, I think so.
- 8:48Speaker 5: And it is a shame because he is one of
- 8:50Speaker 5: the great players of all time. Yes, you know, there's
- 8:53Speaker 5: you know, he might not have the highest averages and everything,
- 8:56Speaker 5: but he's been a hell of a leader. That's something
- 8:58Speaker 5: that can't be measured with stats. And I think it's
- 9:00Speaker 5: I think he is a good dude and I think
- 9:02Speaker 5: it's bloody said that he's not finishing on his own terms.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Yeah, man, yeah, give us your thoughts. By the way,
- 9:07Speaker 2: New Zealand, what did you think on three four eight
- 9:09Speaker 2: three The hell of.
- 9:10Speaker 4: A Test Series?
- 9:11Speaker 5: When we've also had Caine Williamson also retire in the
- 9:14Speaker 5: same series, it's been massive, lot.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Fellows, bloody exciting.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Here's Silver Chair.
- 9:23Speaker 1: The Darchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 9:26Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 9:28Speaker 2: He's indeed good shirt there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show.
- 9:32Speaker 2: This Monday afternoon. The time is four twenty seven, and
- 9:35Speaker 2: fellas something's happening in the Hoody Jay household that hasn't
- 9:38Speaker 2: happened to me for i'd say about twenty nine years.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Wow, are you talking about your apartment in town?
- 9:46Speaker 2: About my apartment? Yes, I am talking about that. My
- 9:54Speaker 2: first ever, I think it is my first ever actually
- 9:57Speaker 2: flat inspection.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Wow, I don't know.
- 10:00Speaker 5: There's something about the timing that seems a bit skew
- 10:02Speaker 5: f to me. Jay. So you've been staying there for
- 10:06Speaker 5: however long, and now all of a sudden they're doing it.
- 10:08Speaker 5: I mean, I have flat inspections because I'm a renter,
- 10:11Speaker 5: I'm a backbone, and they happen every three months. But
- 10:14Speaker 5: you've been in your players for moons, your.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Years since feb Yeah, February, March April May.
- 10:20Speaker 5: So a weird amount of that. It's not three, it's
- 10:23Speaker 5: not sex. It's a little bit in between. What it
- 10:24Speaker 5: seems to me is they've got wind of your new
- 10:28Speaker 5: boots and they want to come over and have a look.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Do you reckon it could be that? Would they do
- 10:34Speaker 3: that over boots? Because they are pretty well No, I
- 10:36Speaker 3: said I wouldn't. They're interesting boots, but.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I didn't think of that. They could be, well, couldn't you,
- 10:43Speaker 2: just like I mean, they rather talk of the town
- 10:44Speaker 2: at the moment. But they don't have to have a
- 10:47Speaker 2: flat inspection. They could I could just wear them outside
- 10:50Speaker 2: and they could look at them. I wouldn't know what
- 10:51Speaker 2: I mean. But here's the thing, fellas, I haven't had
- 10:56Speaker 2: a flat inspection for whatever. I think. What are we
- 11:00Speaker 2: sort of? I mean, does everything have to be super tidy?
- 11:02Speaker 5: Yeah, you're America, Colleen, if you're married to my wife, Yes, right,
- 11:07Speaker 5: it does. I'm sort of I sort of feel like
- 11:09Speaker 5: as long as there's no structural damage, that's all they're
- 11:12Speaker 5: really concerned about. As long as there's no holes in
- 11:13Speaker 5: the wall or you know, sort of any filth up
- 11:18Speaker 5: on the walls in the corner, thank you. If it's
- 11:23Speaker 5: a little bit untidy, that's why. Not having said that,
- 11:26Speaker 5: when people come around to when we get has inspected,
- 11:28Speaker 5: it is absolutely museum like.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, Christine, Well, my wife was out with the
- 11:34Speaker 2: Jeff today, you know, just doing all the flaws and
- 11:37Speaker 2: stuff like. I mean, she's immaculate anyway. But I've got
- 11:40Speaker 2: a favor to ask of you, fellows, of its possibility
- 11:46Speaker 2: that I might be able to just store some stuff
- 11:48Speaker 2: at your place just for tomorrow.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Stuff that you can't have an inspection.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Well, I just stuff that I just don't want in
- 11:55Speaker 2: the house when they're coming over, and you know, geezing gear.
- 11:57Speaker 2: It's actually genuine. My daughter, My daughter came out yester
- 12:01Speaker 2: and she said, they don't go through your drawls and stuff.
- 12:04Speaker 2: They know, why would they do that? She was, Oh,
- 12:06Speaker 2: I just just wondering, just curious. But no, I've just
- 12:11Speaker 2: got a few boxes that I just don't want lying around.
- 12:14Speaker 3: So they would give them back.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I'd come around and get them in a
- 12:19Speaker 2: week or so like that. I wasn't just you're just
- 12:22Speaker 2: just miscellaneous kind of stuff, keasy that I could keep in.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Your you put it in my garage.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, it's just miscellaneous sort of household sort of accouterments, citric't.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Stuff.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It's you don't need to sort of you don't need
- 12:42Speaker 2: to know.
- 12:42Speaker 3: It's just junk, Okay, as long as it's not anything illegal.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's just junk, you know.
- 12:49Speaker 3: It's nothing, it's not anything illegal, Okay, to throw it
- 12:51Speaker 3: out then if.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It's just it's it's junk. That I need. You know
- 12:56Speaker 2: what I mean sentimental? You know what I mean?
- 13:00Speaker 4: Head it?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Oh, I mean I no one ever would. But if you,
- 13:04Speaker 2: if if someone were to discover what it was, you
- 13:07Speaker 2: could just say it belonged to me, and I deny it.
- 13:10Speaker 2: But I mean, if it's seriously kesy, it's like three boxes.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Right, I was one box before and now it's three boxes.
- 13:17Speaker 2: It's three boxes, so if okay, great, Actually just on
- 13:23Speaker 2: that before they come over. You come over in your
- 13:25Speaker 2: trucky and pick it up because it's not going to
- 13:27Speaker 2: fit in my car.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Okay, Well what is your trucky going at the moment?
- 13:31Speaker 3: Truck is always going, all right, it always runs. But
- 13:33Speaker 3: why are you like Pugs and Mogi for example, they
- 13:35Speaker 3: could take something.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Kezy, Mogi's working all day, Pugs his car as
- 13:41Speaker 2: a shitter AND's been in the bloody mechanics for about
- 13:44Speaker 2: six months. And I need a bit of space, so
- 13:46Speaker 2: I'll need you a little trucky. Yeah it's okay. I
- 13:49Speaker 2: appreciate that.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Can you show you what one of the things is
- 13:51Speaker 3: inside the box? I need to know, dilly um No.
- 13:56Speaker 1: The whole key Big show was Jason, Mike and Kezy Tune.
- 14:00Speaker 2: In on Radio Blind Melon there on the Radio hod
- 14:05Speaker 2: Archy Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is exactly
- 14:08Speaker 2: twenty minutes to five. Massive rugby league action over the weekend.
- 14:13Speaker 2: With that in mind, we have rugby league legend Charlie
- 14:18Speaker 2: gub on the line with us. Get it, Charlie, you're
- 14:20Speaker 2: mad bass at Hell's life.
- 14:22Speaker 6: Yeah that's good brother, Good to be talking to a
- 14:24Speaker 6: brick shiit house.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, good on you mate. It's a massive That's what
- 14:28Speaker 2: they used to call me when I played Gubby House,
- 14:30Speaker 2: the brick shouse.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Absolutely, he's bricked another one, the shiouse.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I tell you what. I tell you what, Charlie, it
- 14:40Speaker 2: was expected, geez, what a game.
- 14:43Speaker 6: It was a good game. I was just thinking on
- 14:46Speaker 6: the way to answering the score. How you know that
- 14:50Speaker 6: last few minutes we could be celebrating a victory. Yeah,
- 14:55Speaker 6: and what was a great game regardless of the result.
- 14:57Speaker 6: But because of you know that last it's almost like,
- 15:01Speaker 6: oh damn we lost or what wrongs can we find?
- 15:04Speaker 6: So it's just crazy how sport can be like that.
- 15:07Speaker 6: You know, one team celebrating and one team's down, but
- 15:09Speaker 6: they're both equally good.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Well that's the thing, right, So the Dolphins at the
- 15:12Speaker 3: time were just behind us on the ladder. Now it
- 15:16Speaker 3: is all tied up, Charlie. You've got the Panthers way
- 15:18Speaker 3: out in front of twenty eight points, but the Warriors,
- 15:20Speaker 3: the Dolphins, the Roosters, and the Knights are all tied
- 15:22Speaker 3: on twenty four points. And then just behind them then
- 15:25Speaker 3: one lost Way Seagulls, Rabbit O Sharks, and then you're
- 15:28Speaker 3: out of the top eight. So have you ever seen
- 15:31Speaker 3: a sort of top eight at the business end of
- 15:32Speaker 3: the season this close before?
- 15:35Speaker 6: No, not that I can remember, And I can't remember
- 15:38Speaker 6: a comp that's been so so even like you know,
- 15:42Speaker 6: even you know the Dragons are the worst team by far. Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 6: they can still knock someone over. It's kind of a
- 15:49Speaker 6: scary place to be for all the teams. You only
- 15:51Speaker 6: have to drop a couple in a row and you
- 15:53Speaker 6: go from being top four to fighting to be in
- 15:54Speaker 6: the eight.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it makes very exciting viewing at the
- 15:59Speaker 3: end of the day. Say, when when you're watching this
- 16:01Speaker 3: game and we were a couple of minutes away from
- 16:03Speaker 3: celebrating a massive, hearty win from the Warriors without a
- 16:07Speaker 3: lot of their star players who were injured, what do
- 16:10Speaker 3: you think we did wrong there, Charlie, because I'm sure
- 16:13Speaker 3: Mogie's got a list of things.
- 16:16Speaker 6: I don't reckon that's what we did wrong. I honestly reckon.
- 16:19Speaker 6: The injuries are just playing a big part.
- 16:20Speaker 4: And yeah, we.
- 16:22Speaker 6: Just just looked fragile on the edge. Like there was
- 16:27Speaker 6: periods where warriors were on top big time, but we
- 16:30Speaker 6: didn't look super threatening even though we're rolling through the middle.
- 16:33Speaker 6: We just lacked a bit of I don't know, like
- 16:36Speaker 6: fire on the edge and attack and dolphins weren't dominating,
- 16:40Speaker 6: but you almost had that feeling like, oh damn, like
- 16:42Speaker 6: if they go white here, it could be on just
- 16:44Speaker 6: because I don't know if we were tired in the
- 16:46Speaker 6: middle without Jackson Fords and other people playing big minutes,
- 16:49Speaker 6: but we were just getting skinned on the edge. You know,
- 16:52Speaker 6: our centers were just lacking a bit of class. That
- 16:54Speaker 6: day They're coming up against herb Be fun Worth in Bostock,
- 16:57Speaker 6: who were both.
- 16:58Speaker 4: In great form. Yeah.
- 17:00Speaker 6: Still you I guess you got to do a bit
- 17:01Speaker 6: better when you're trying to win a traditional camp.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it felt like we were. Weirdly, it felt like
- 17:06Speaker 4: we were going to win.
- 17:07Speaker 5: I always felt confident and except for that's the start
- 17:11Speaker 5: of the second half where they were just absolutely rolling us.
- 17:14Speaker 5: But yeah, as you say, we've got heaps of injuries.
- 17:17Speaker 5: We've lost by two points to Penrith and the Dolphins.
- 17:21Speaker 5: So given we've got all these injuries, I feel really
- 17:23Speaker 5: confident in this team. It's not like we're getting absolutely battered.
- 17:27Speaker 5: You know, people have certainly been saying that old made
- 17:30Speaker 5: Pompey had a rough game, but he's been bloody good
- 17:32Speaker 5: for a few years.
- 17:33Speaker 6: You know.
- 17:33Speaker 5: It's sort of like a callback to what he used
- 17:35Speaker 5: to be like. But he's been bloody good, so he's
- 17:36Speaker 5: allowed a bad game later. Tier's defense, though, Man, I
- 17:41Speaker 5: don't think you can win a camp having somebody that
- 17:43Speaker 5: just completely like disappears at times.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:49Speaker 6: Yeah, that wasn't unless I was the best game. I'm
- 17:52Speaker 6: a big fan of his and stuff like that, but
- 17:55Speaker 6: I think those are those games that you learn from.
- 17:57Speaker 6: You know, he's still a young player. Yeah, hopefully he's
- 18:00Speaker 6: not making the same mistake multiple times. Whether or not,
- 18:03Speaker 6: I don't know. Only they would know when they do
- 18:05Speaker 6: the review. If it's all his fault, you know, there
- 18:07Speaker 6: might be some communication breakdown somewhere. Yeah, but there's a
- 18:12Speaker 6: but that's the difference, right, Like we've got Roger Rogers
- 18:15Speaker 6: injured exactly, and he's a really good player, and then
- 18:17Speaker 6: you replace him with a player like Lawelltawa who's a
- 18:20Speaker 6: good player. But you know, like the difference between this
- 18:22Speaker 6: green worst game has quite a lot. Yeah, his worst
- 18:26Speaker 6: game is still a really good game. So in those
- 18:29Speaker 6: big games, that's where you need your your big players
- 18:31Speaker 6: to step up. And we've just got a lot out
- 18:33Speaker 6: at the.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Moment, Charlie. Yeah, we're just on that front. I mean,
- 18:36Speaker 2: how are we looking on the injury front of their
- 18:38Speaker 2: players that we're looking to come back in.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Well, we've got Fisher, Harris is out, Leaka Hall of Sema,
- 18:43Speaker 5: Camperira boy's gone for us for the season, and then
- 18:47Speaker 5: so as yes, and Jackson will be back. Jackson for
- 18:50Speaker 5: to be back. But then there's also in and around
- 18:53Speaker 5: you know, Origin as well. We lose Cape Well and.
- 18:57Speaker 3: And delasniecas Now and all those names, a lot some
- 19:00Speaker 3: of the older boys that you're not. You were a
- 19:02Speaker 3: few captains and things in there, but your leadership pack
- 19:04Speaker 3: they're all out, Charlie. Man, they're all out.
- 19:07Speaker 4: But we're looking good, man, We are looking We're looking
- 19:09Speaker 4: good because I'll say this as well. Even though we've
- 19:11Speaker 4: got all these other teams that are even with us,
- 19:13Speaker 4: I still feel like we're hitting shoulders above those teams. Yeah,
- 19:15Speaker 4: we're still playing very good footing.
- 19:17Speaker 6: That kissy, I'll take it from me. But so I
- 19:22Speaker 6: think that performance we put in, you know, we're probably
- 19:24Speaker 6: beating you know, twelve of the sixteen teams playing like that.
- 19:28Speaker 6: Roosters are coming into form, which are scary because they
- 19:30Speaker 6: are a bigger There are big time players in there.
- 19:33Speaker 6: Rabbits are doing well for Jai Era, They're they're looking good.
- 19:36Speaker 6: But I think apart from Dolphins, Panthers, US and those
- 19:42Speaker 6: other two teams are just name cts rolling and now
- 19:44Speaker 6: but I'm named, they're the only teams that can win it,
- 19:47Speaker 6: and we're I think, yeah, hopefully we've got a top
- 19:50Speaker 6: four spot come semi finals.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Book to your flights, Hey, Charlie, go before we let
- 19:55Speaker 3: you go, mate, who is your player of the round?
- 19:57Speaker 3: Brought to you by Porter King.
- 20:00Speaker 4: I'm giving it to Big J K. Laban. Yeah, yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 4: he annoyed.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I do thing went well well, Laban did. I
- 20:09Speaker 5: went pretty well as well. I was had my daughter's
- 20:11Speaker 5: birthday party and had a couple of friends over. So
- 20:14Speaker 5: I was pretending I wasn't a psychopath when I was
- 20:17Speaker 5: watching the game. We're not screaming the house down.
- 20:19Speaker 4: So it was hard.
- 20:19Speaker 5: I had to pretend I was interested in the conversation,
- 20:21Speaker 5: to be honest, Charlie. So I didn't give it my
- 20:23Speaker 5: full attention.
- 20:24Speaker 4: No, that's all good, brother, that's all good.
- 20:26Speaker 6: What about your keys, the one you get up to?
- 20:28Speaker 3: Sorry, Charlie, Man, we don't have time with the music's
- 20:30Speaker 3: playing now.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Nice try though, Manella.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Man, bastard, here's in you bis.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Don't forget if you're ever in Wellington you need a
- 20:40Speaker 3: poor loo hit up Uncle Charlie at Porter.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Kingdon The Hilarchy Big Show weekdays from four on radio.
- 20:47Speaker 2: She had there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 20:51Speaker 2: Monday afternoon. The time is eight minutes to five o'clock.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Let's talk TV.
- 20:58Speaker 3: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue. Yeah, I didn't
- 21:07Speaker 3: watch anything, feels, I didn't watch anything.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I had a full social calendar over the weekend. The films.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I've got an update just quickly on broken Wood. There
- 21:16Speaker 3: was an episode of the Broken Wood Mysteries on TV
- 21:18Speaker 3: and Z a couple of weeks ago. Now, where Jace,
- 21:21Speaker 3: the character you played, Jace Ray, was the center of attention.
- 21:25Speaker 3: My wife and I have watched the first third of
- 21:27Speaker 3: it and we can't bring ourselves to watch any more
- 21:30Speaker 3: of it.
- 21:30Speaker 4: I told you this would happen on Friday, did or not?
- 21:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 21:32Speaker 4: You did, you said, I We're going to watch the
- 21:34Speaker 4: rest of it over the weekend.
- 21:34Speaker 5: I said, I bet you never watched one more second
- 21:37Speaker 5: of that episode.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Yeah, which is a shame, because we love watching you.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Act Jace, And like what I do is I crack
- 21:43Speaker 3: up picturing everyone standing behind the camera filming it and
- 21:46Speaker 3: you effing and jeffing after the side, and you know.
- 21:48Speaker 5: He's got everybody's sort of walking on eggshells around such
- 21:52Speaker 5: a horendous moody bar because he'll head no mad.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Dog, I get it.
- 22:01Speaker 2: But I'll be in your wife's here her tomorrow. I
- 22:03Speaker 2: can tell you that much, because I you know, for
- 22:07Speaker 2: all the stuff I've done for her, the fact that
- 22:09Speaker 2: she can't make the effort to watch Hoydy j on
- 22:12Speaker 2: the TV is.
- 22:13Speaker 3: And it's an effort that's you know what I mean.
- 22:15Speaker 2: It's a little hurtful, and especially when you consider what
- 22:19Speaker 2: a fan of a Game of two Halves.
- 22:23Speaker 4: I am you only just remembered what it was called.
- 22:27Speaker 2: You know, and that is you know, I don't care
- 22:29Speaker 2: what my family wants to watch when a Game of
- 22:31Speaker 2: Two Halves comes on, because that's all we're watching, you
- 22:35Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. And to hear that you're finding
- 22:38Speaker 2: it so hard to watch me when I gave a
- 22:41Speaker 2: performance of a lifetime it was a great performance. I'm shit,
- 22:45Speaker 2: I'm hit.
- 22:46Speaker 3: We're gonna watch more of it tonight, Okay, I'm got
- 22:48Speaker 3: to go home instead of my wife. Ja's pactors said
- 22:50Speaker 3: we have to watch another like twenty minutes of it,
- 22:51Speaker 3: and She's gonna say, okay, fine.
- 22:55Speaker 2: And I'm going to check with her tomorrow at Ingle.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Bo oither Way, or I could just tell you tomorrow
- 22:59Speaker 3: on the show.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'm going to check with here, okay, because I don't
- 23:02Speaker 2: believe you even watched my stuffs.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I haven't caught up on Game and two Halves. I'm
- 23:07Speaker 4: going to catch up on that tonight. Did you watch
- 23:09Speaker 4: last week's episode, Jace sheer Man.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It was an absolute cracker and it was Keasy is
- 23:15Speaker 2: doing an outstanding job filling in for the great.
- 23:21Speaker 3: You can't sure I get that.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Speaking of filling in. I tell you what, we have
- 23:26Speaker 2: a massive hour to fill in next butter englebit chat.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah. Also feel as I think we should do some
- 23:33Speaker 3: improv yes around Jason's He's going to have his first
- 23:37Speaker 3: flat inspection.
- 23:38Speaker 2: No tomorrow morning borrow, so we start training run for that. Actually,
- 23:41Speaker 2: just on that before you cut me off here easy.
- 23:44Speaker 2: They've done that annoying thing of whether they've said between
- 23:47Speaker 2: ten and four.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Well, lucky you've got nothing on literally nothing on nothing.
- 23:53Speaker 2: I won't be when they turn up.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Hold aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune
- 24:03Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio hod Ikey.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Welcome back to your massive bagbones. Hope you're surviving your Monday.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You're listening to the Big Show brought to you by Reburger.
- 24:12Speaker 3: Handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and go eats.
- 24:15Speaker 4: That'll change the game.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Any of you fellows managed to have a bit of
- 24:22Speaker 2: Reburger over the weekend.
- 24:23Speaker 4: No, I didn't.
- 24:24Speaker 5: I can't remember what I ate really, but I've started
- 24:27Speaker 5: with a I've started a little herb garden outside because
- 24:32Speaker 5: I've been sort of over the years, Keysy, I don't
- 24:35Speaker 5: know if you know this, but sort of herbs come
- 24:37Speaker 5: into the house and then they die, and then they
- 24:40Speaker 5: sort of but they seem to sit on the bench forever,
- 24:43Speaker 5: and then I'll be the one that sort of throws
- 24:45Speaker 5: them out. So I sort of reached my wits end
- 24:49Speaker 5: with a little bit. So I went out and bought
- 24:51Speaker 5: a big, big tray, a big a big pot and
- 24:55Speaker 5: some potting mix, some blood and bone, and a whole
- 24:58Speaker 5: bunch of herbs. And now it's on to keep these
- 25:00Speaker 5: things alive. So I'm thinking it really seriously. So I
- 25:02Speaker 5: did a lot of work on that over the weekend
- 25:04Speaker 5: renovation Chat. Renovation chat really was what herbs you got
- 25:08Speaker 5: in there. I'm a big parsley guy. Now, I like
- 25:11Speaker 5: your normal parsley, your curly parsley they call it. I
- 25:13Speaker 5: also like your Italian, but I like the curly. I
- 25:16Speaker 5: like to have that much scrambled eggs. So I've got
- 25:18Speaker 5: a couple of those. I've got a few chides, and
- 25:20Speaker 5: I've got some Italian parsley, all very good for the winter.
- 25:23Speaker 5: But I strayed away from getting Rosemary and time because
- 25:27Speaker 5: you just never use them.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Well, Rosemary in time, I would argue, are the most delicious.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Well, I never use them.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Rosemary grows like a bastard. Bastard has does mint and
- 25:36Speaker 2: meant what not?
- 25:39Speaker 4: Round at our house? It doesn't.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, but I tell you what in all serious that
- 25:43Speaker 2: I o. My daughter's had a sand pit when they
- 25:46Speaker 2: were little eese, and when they bug it off, we
- 25:49Speaker 2: turned that into a little herd patch. Just very good
- 25:51Speaker 2: for the head to tend to. You know, a little
- 25:54Speaker 2: patch of growth.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Did you turn it into a herd patch or did
- 25:58Speaker 4: it just get overgrown?
- 25:59Speaker 2: No, it was aful little herb patch.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Is that the one of tomatoes used to rip ass
- 26:02Speaker 4: all over?
- 26:03Speaker 3: Oh?
- 26:03Speaker 2: I know they were potted?
- 26:05Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I must say, like one thing you discover
- 26:08Speaker 3: I reckon it's like in your late twenties early thirties,
- 26:10Speaker 3: is that herbs and spices and the difference it makes
- 26:12Speaker 3: to food. Because I never used to use any of them. No,
- 26:15Speaker 3: and now like I had some time yesterday. Hey, the
- 26:18Speaker 3: herb I mean, and I couldn't believe how delicious it was.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I was like that, I'm gonna use more of this.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Just on that front. By the way, I bought a
- 26:26Speaker 2: huge bag of coriander yesterday. It was massive, only three bucks.
- 26:31Speaker 4: It was spar That's great herb chat.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Here's a food fighters the whole Archy Big Show was Jason,
- 26:38Speaker 1: Mike and Kyzy.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Tune in on Radio Soundgarden. There on the radio holt
- 26:44Speaker 2: Arky Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is fourteen
- 26:47Speaker 2: minutes past five o'clock. It's time for some improv. Why
- 26:51Speaker 2: it sounds fake lines camera? Actually, no, it's time for
- 26:58Speaker 2: the Big Show pro Now. This is based on the
- 27:01Speaker 2: fact that tomorrow Hoody J has a flat inspection the
- 27:05Speaker 2: first time and I'd say thirty years that's happened.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Is your first ever thing?
- 27:09Speaker 2: Actually I think it is my first ever. I can't
- 27:12Speaker 2: ever recall having a flat inspection.
- 27:15Speaker 3: So to prepare you for this, because we know that
- 27:17Speaker 3: you've got some questionable stuff around your house.
- 27:18Speaker 2: Well, no, that's going to be at your house.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Well, yeah, you're going to drop some of at my house. Apparently,
- 27:23Speaker 3: figured I could come over, we could do a run through,
- 27:25Speaker 3: and I could play a flat inspector.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm not sure you know what the sort
- 27:29Speaker 2: of setup Isn't.
- 27:30Speaker 4: That flat inspector. It's a real estate agent.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Oh okay, so it's whoever rented the place out to you,
- 27:37Speaker 5: whoever the property manager is sure, I'm they're the ones
- 27:39Speaker 5: that comes from Lovely does not an official flat inspector
- 27:43Speaker 5: as such.
- 27:44Speaker 3: That's sort of multitask, so it's just the letting agent whoever.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Okay, if you're going to imagine somebody and let's say
- 27:50Speaker 5: a navy blazer with a name badge on the front, Okay, yeah, perfect,
- 27:55Speaker 5: that's say it's keasy, Okay.
- 27:56Speaker 4: We it's probably not going to say Chris.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Chris. Okay, so I'm us Oh Chris.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Oh no, but the woman that rented the place, or
- 28:03Speaker 2: she was she was a woman?
- 28:04Speaker 3: Yeah no, but obviously could you.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Play her as a woman please? Because I knew it
- 28:07Speaker 2: to be as realistic as possible.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so me playing a woman is really okay.
- 28:11Speaker 5: It sort of feels like if you play a woman,
- 28:13Speaker 5: then that would be sixers, because if you're playing another race,
- 28:17Speaker 5: that would be racist. So can you play another six
- 28:19Speaker 5: I'm not sure. We'll find out.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Can you call yourself Elizabeth?
- 28:24Speaker 4: Okay, I'm Elizabeth.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Are you ready to go?
- 28:26Speaker 4: Yes?
- 28:26Speaker 3: I'm coming around to your house? All right, here we go.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Who am I you live with?
- 28:30Speaker 4: Jason? What are we mate? I don't know? Up to you? Okay,
- 28:33Speaker 4: will you be his wife? I would have married that.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Okay, we were just list pretending we just make believe
- 28:38Speaker 3: all right here we I mean i'd make out okay.
- 28:41Speaker 4: But I don't think we.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Could sure in the bedroom. Change it up a bit.
- 28:47Speaker 3: You're Jason's side piece or something. Yeah you know, yeah, yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 3: all right, here we go. Action okay, don't don't don't
- 28:58Speaker 3: think we don't answer the door.
- 29:00Speaker 2: We go, yeah, coming on my way. Oh good, Elizabeth,
- 29:09Speaker 2: how are you? You're looking well?
- 29:10Speaker 6: Hi?
- 29:11Speaker 3: Jason, thank you, thank you likewise nice boots. Sorry, I'm
- 29:15Speaker 3: just double checking that you knew we were having a
- 29:18Speaker 3: flat inspection today.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I did, good Elizabeth.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Hello, I don't think we've met. I'm Elizabeth.
- 29:23Speaker 4: Hello.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Hi, what's your name?
- 29:25Speaker 4: Susie?
- 29:26Speaker 3: Hi, good day, Susie. I hope you guys don't mind.
- 29:29Speaker 3: We'll just do a quick flat inspection, no longer than
- 29:33Speaker 3: ten minutes. Feel free to just chill and the lounge there.
- 29:35Speaker 4: And wherever I want.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean, I'm paying for the place.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I might just yeah, just all good relaxing the boudoir
- 29:43Speaker 2: if that's okay.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Here, really actual, it's very hot in here. Have you
- 29:49Speaker 3: got the heating on or something? Because it's really stuff
- 29:51Speaker 3: we do.
- 29:52Speaker 2: You don't mind if I take my robe off?
- 29:54Speaker 3: Actually I do mind? You could just if you just
- 29:55Speaker 3: give me five minutes.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Okay, Well, what I would like you to take it off? Honey,
- 30:00Speaker 5: there you go? This is our listen.
- 30:03Speaker 4: There he is?
- 30:03Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Hello? Am I happy to see you?
- 30:06Speaker 7: Or what?
- 30:08Speaker 4: There?
- 30:08Speaker 2: He is? There? Hello? Now you're talking? You're damn straight?
- 30:14Speaker 4: There it is?
- 30:16Speaker 3: Would it be better for you, guys if I came
- 30:18Speaker 3: back at another time?
- 30:21Speaker 4: It's perfect.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's quite like even't you're here?
- 30:23Speaker 3: Actually, okay, I'll just quickly I just have it is. Oh, hello,

- 33:08Speaker 3: So she told your wife that this was just a
- 33:10Speaker 3: work thing that we had to go to. We had
- 33:12Speaker 3: to suck it up. She like, she probably doesn't realize
- 33:14Speaker 3: it's angle bit humping.
- 33:15Speaker 5: She knows, but she's sort of she's a few years
- 33:20Speaker 5: older than you, Keyzy, but she's never heard of him, right, normal.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Yeah, for a lot of people. For sure.
- 33:29Speaker 3: She's obviously lived a very sheltered life musically. But one thing, So,
- 33:32Speaker 3: my father was agreed to come on the show. We're
- 33:34Speaker 3: going to give him a call next. But if you
- 33:36Speaker 3: guys could just not be weird, if you know what

- 34:03Speaker 3: out of the sort of conversation all right.
- 34:06Speaker 2: I see you're a bit nervous about what we might
- 34:08Speaker 2: say to your father in law.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Well, it's just you know, the the in jokes of
- 34:11Speaker 3: the show, which are always a bit of a laugh,
- 34:12Speaker 3: you know, if they could not make their way into
- 34:14Speaker 3: this chat with my father in law, you know, because
- 34:16Speaker 3: we read my word really no meat, patty nips, none
- 34:20Speaker 3: of that stuff.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I mean, if it slips out, kezy,
- 34:24Speaker 2: it slips out a nip slip, Yeah, totally, Maggie a

- 34:56Speaker 3: Whenever I have a few beers, I put him on
- 34:58Speaker 3: and I like to sing along with everyone.

- 35:10Speaker 3: Good a, Greg, how are you again?
- 35:13Speaker 7: I'm good?
- 35:13Speaker 2: Yeah, good on you, Greg. Hey. Before we get into Inglebert,
- 35:17Speaker 2: I guess can we get hang on Keyzy? I guess
- 35:22Speaker 2: the first question we have to ask you, as you
- 35:25Speaker 2: know the father in law of old Keesy, what were
- 35:29Speaker 2: your first impressions when your lovely daughter brought Keesy for
- 35:32Speaker 2: the first time through your front door?
- 35:35Speaker 7: Well, I can't say we were completely impressed. You know,
- 35:38Speaker 7: we just hooked. It was a face who was going through.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Can we keep this on Englebert?
- 35:43Speaker 2: Please?
- 35:45Speaker 7: But no, he's not a bad lead in the sort
- 35:48Speaker 7: of Yeah, he's pretty I always know when he's coming around,
- 35:51Speaker 7: Actie because my wife starts making cheese rolls and homemade
- 35:56Speaker 7: soup and all the stuff that I normally get. But
- 35:58Speaker 7: when the favorite son in.
- 35:59Speaker 5: Law's arriving, he's a bottomless pet, isn't he. He never
- 36:03Speaker 5: stops eating. You would have noticed that as well.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Absolutely, guys, for just the reason we've got Greg on
- 36:09Speaker 3: the liners to.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Can I just say, actually, because I know that old keyes,
- 36:12Speaker 2: he likes to play a bit of golf with you.
- 36:16Speaker 2: He says you are shocking on the golf course. You know.
- 36:21Speaker 2: He said you'll head a nine on a hole and
- 36:24Speaker 2: mark it down as a four, and it just riles up.
- 36:28Speaker 7: Well, he's true, I am a shocking golfer. But I
- 36:30Speaker 7: don't think he's ever beaten me.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Exactly. Fair point, fair point.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Well, if we could just chat here about Inglebert last night, Greg,
- 36:38Speaker 3: you went.
- 36:39Speaker 5: Greg, you must be won room to yourself. Man, As
- 36:41Speaker 5: time ticks onwards, where are these grand kids.
- 36:45Speaker 7: Don't get me started. I'm on national radio.
- 36:50Speaker 4: Cheers that Mogie and Greg.
- 36:52Speaker 3: You went to Inglebert last night with my mother, lovely
- 36:55Speaker 3: mother in law Andrea, your.
- 36:56Speaker 7: Mother at all. I went with my.
- 36:59Speaker 2: Come on, you're a shocking bastard Green are you seeingz
- 37:04Speaker 2: Come on man?
- 37:05Speaker 3: You went last night to Engelbert and christ Church with
- 37:08Speaker 3: that with my lovely mother in law Andrea. How was
- 37:11Speaker 3: the experience, because Jason Mike are both I think worried
- 37:14Speaker 3: that it might not be very good.
- 37:18Speaker 7: No, it was great. You had to allow for the
- 37:20Speaker 7: fact he's ninety years old. It's just good for to
- 37:23Speaker 7: get up. He's making a few moves. He was struggled
- 37:26Speaker 7: at the high notes, but it didn't worry about the audience.
- 37:29Speaker 7: They were seeing along and enjoying it all. And it
- 37:31Speaker 7: made me feel young again because I think I was
- 37:33Speaker 7: the youngest one in sixty six in the audience. But
- 37:37Speaker 7: a lot of the old girls that got up and
- 37:39Speaker 7: hit the sequins on and the dress of his name
- 37:41Speaker 7: were And I spoke to a couple on the way
- 37:43Speaker 7: out and they said, I don't care that he sounded
- 37:46Speaker 7: like I said it was. It didn't matter at all.
- 37:47Speaker 7: It's just fantastic to see him there.
- 37:49Speaker 4: You know, they're right, okay, cool, So that's sort of
- 37:51Speaker 4: half a little bit past it.
- 37:53Speaker 2: No, can't reach the top notes, right, it's not to
- 37:58Speaker 2: be fair.
- 37:58Speaker 7: Mostly he didn't sing fine on the lower notes and
- 38:02Speaker 7: the other sorry, just going to say you one other thing.
- 38:04Speaker 7: He had one of his signature things. I mean, he
- 38:06Speaker 7: had a red cloth that he mocked his bear and
- 38:09Speaker 7: at the end he went to throw these about four
- 38:10Speaker 7: or five of these. You know, there must have been
- 38:13Speaker 7: a thing he does. Well, he's throwing arm has gone
- 38:15Speaker 7: at them into the front row one or two actually,
- 38:19Speaker 7: even though it was at the front of the stage.
- 38:20Speaker 7: They landed his feet and they had to just kick
- 38:22Speaker 7: them off.
- 38:26Speaker 5: But only other question really is that's going to contribute
- 38:29Speaker 5: to how much we possibly enjoy this concert will be.
- 38:33Speaker 4: How long was it then?
- 38:34Speaker 7: No, it was good. He there was no you know,
- 38:38Speaker 7: opening act, and he came out about ten past seven
- 38:41Speaker 7: or ten minutes upslod to start and he finished an
- 38:44Speaker 7: hour and a half later. So wow, well he said
- 38:47Speaker 7: he didn't say the feet he had to be in
- 38:48Speaker 7: bed by nine anyway.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, great, staff. Great. Finally you mentioned your lovely
- 38:56Speaker 2: wife Andrea, who we have actually met at one of
- 38:58Speaker 2: our live gigs. Is there any chance you could send
- 39:01Speaker 2: up maybe a bag of these famous cheese rolls for
- 39:05Speaker 2: the Big Show.
- 39:06Speaker 7: I'll have a word to see what we can do.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Yeah, good mate, Yeah me, that would be good.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Before let you go, Greg, Out of ten, what would

- 40:22Speaker 5: own deals.

- 43:20Speaker 2: missed them.
- 43:21Speaker 3: You just expect like these great things to happen every
- 43:24Speaker 3: single day. Fresh thing, fresh, it doesn't work like that, man,
- 43:27Speaker 3: it's hard yack it.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Why is he's sucking up to Pegs? I'm not sucking up.
- 43:32Speaker 3: I'm just explaining to Jace that they can't just come
- 43:34Speaker 3: out every day?
- 43:34Speaker 4: Yeah, what about once a week? Sure?
- 43:37Speaker 3: Also, Pugs is doing them like he just started randomly
- 43:41Speaker 3: making them.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Can I just now.
- 43:43Speaker 5: He's got to he's holding himself to his own high standards. Unfortunately,
- 43:46Speaker 5: you know he's created a what was he created here,
- 43:49Speaker 5: Jason Cross?
- 43:50Speaker 4: For his own right, for his own back? Yes, Pugs,
- 43:53Speaker 4: how do you feel about this? Man?
- 43:54Speaker 3: These accusations that you're not making big rebigers things.
- 43:57Speaker 2: I don't know, but everything you guys are saying is wrong?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Can I just can I also clarify because you just
- 44:04Speaker 2: went off on an absolute tangent there? I was meaning
- 44:08Speaker 2: stuff that we've played before, not that he had to
- 44:10Speaker 2: create new ones.
- 44:11Speaker 4: That's true, old stuff. You're old stuff.
- 44:13Speaker 5: Yes, how come you don't like playing Pugs as cool trailers?
- 44:20Speaker 2: That's almost like you're deliberately not doing them because they're
- 44:24Speaker 2: so good and you're a little bit envious or something.
- 44:28Speaker 3: That's because I'm envious of Pugs' editing ability, and it's creativity.
- 44:32Speaker 3: And last thing I knowed is him coming in here
- 44:35Speaker 3: and everyone realizing, hey, maybe old Kezy's ship house and
- 44:37Speaker 3: Pugs is where it's at.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Totally that happening. No, certainly not certainly not speaking of
- 44:43Speaker 2: Reburger over the weekend.
- 44:45Speaker 4: Jesus good, you've never had you do that?
- 44:50Speaker 3: You literally have there even sit foot and why do
- 44:52Speaker 3: I do it?
- 44:53Speaker 2: Because it's delicious?
- 44:55Speaker 4: Sort of?
- 44:55Speaker 5: I's been sarcastic about Reburger.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Is the way to go PA four around here? I
- 45:00Speaker 4: don't know.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Yeah, oh what did I? I had unicorn meat for dinner?
- 45:05Speaker 4: Yeah? How's that?
- 45:09Speaker 2: A unicorn is an imaginary creature. It doesn't exist.
- 45:12Speaker 3: My wife and I we you know, we would have
- 45:14Speaker 3: bought some unicorn meat.
- 45:15Speaker 4: We cooked it up. It was so young, Mogg, you
- 45:17Speaker 4: must try it.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Are you even talking about man.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Just made up foods that never happened?
- 45:23Speaker 2: Reburg is not made up.
- 45:25Speaker 4: Here's the Chili the.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy. Tune
- 45:30Speaker 1: in week days at four on radio.
- 45:33Speaker 2: There on the Radio Hodaki Big Show This Monday evening.
- 45:37Speaker 2: The time is thirteen minutes past six o'clock.
- 45:40Speaker 5: Fell Its a very special occasion over the weekend as
- 45:42Speaker 5: my daughter celebrated her seventh birthday.
- 45:45Speaker 4: Ah, it's she didn't want to have a birthday party.
- 45:47Speaker 5: She felt that too many other kids were having birthdays
- 45:50Speaker 5: at the same time as her. She would have had
- 45:52Speaker 5: to share days or share actual birthday parties with people.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Yes, and she wasn't prepared to give up the spotlight.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Fair enough. I think that is fair, especially for a
- 46:01Speaker 4: little kid.
- 46:02Speaker 5: That's right. So he went to She chose a restaurant
- 46:04Speaker 5: that she wanted to go to. So we went to
- 46:06Speaker 5: that restaurant. Surprisingly not oh wow, not as reasonably priced
- 46:12Speaker 5: as rebig or I have to say, went on a
- 46:14Speaker 5: couple of mates, few mates here, and Jesus, it was
- 46:17Speaker 5: just a beautiful time. But I do just want to
- 46:19Speaker 5: say flagger with you that she did want you guys
- 46:24Speaker 5: to come.
- 46:24Speaker 2: Because yeah, I mean yeah, you mentioned this on Friday
- 46:28Speaker 2: and I was like, oh yeah, I said to my
- 46:30Speaker 2: wife on Friday night, make sure you don't book out
- 46:34Speaker 2: sety Yeah day it open. Yeah, totally.
- 46:39Speaker 5: I don't know why, because I gave you absolutely no inclination,
- 46:42Speaker 5: no clue that you would welcome in any way.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Well, it's just that I know that your daughter, you know,
- 46:48Speaker 2: she loves old Hoidi, you know what I mean. And
- 46:52Speaker 2: so I just thought.
- 46:54Speaker 5: Theles lone, she wanted you this, she wanted you there. Yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 5: but I just I said to you, unfortunately, I can't
- 47:05Speaker 5: have these guys coming down here when they still owe
- 47:08Speaker 5: me cash.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Right, So it's so because we owe you money still.
- 47:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 47:15Speaker 5: And then my fear was that you would walk in
- 47:17Speaker 5: to this party, this birthday party for a child, and
- 47:20Speaker 5: not have a prison and not be able to pay
- 47:22Speaker 5: for any food or drinks and sort of it'll be
- 47:24Speaker 5: on old Mogi. Yet again to Pons, I mean it
- 47:28Speaker 5: is her birthday, right, So I probably wouldn't have come
- 47:32Speaker 5: in and paid for anything. To be honest, I would
- 47:34Speaker 5: have bought a prison though.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Yeah, totally. I had an extra hundred bucks in my
- 47:38Speaker 2: bank account, so I'd already spent that on here. So yeah, yeah,
- 47:42Speaker 2: what did you I'm not going to tell you, mate.
- 47:44Speaker 3: We can tell me though.
- 47:45Speaker 2: I'll tell you after the show.
- 47:47Speaker 4: What did you get it?
- 47:48Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you on Buddy show mate.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Did jas know what you would buy a seven year
- 47:52Speaker 3: old girl?
- 47:53Speaker 2: I bet you are?
- 47:54Speaker 3: Yes, Okay, okay, so all right, tell me after the show.
- 47:58Speaker 3: Very excited to find out what that is. I personally
- 48:00Speaker 3: didn't keep Saturday open. Motor bike for one hundred dollars. Yeah,
- 48:06Speaker 3: I got enough trade me, is it keys?
- 48:08Speaker 2: Yes?
- 48:09Speaker 3: No, my motorbike is worth more than one hundred dollars,
- 48:11Speaker 3: thank you. I didn't keep Saturday No open because I
- 48:14Speaker 3: didn't assume i'd be invited to your seven year ol
- 48:16Speaker 3: daughter's party.
- 48:16Speaker 5: No, well that's right, Well that makes sense and CAZy.
- 48:18Speaker 5: There's a sort of anything there as well, where you
- 48:20Speaker 5: didn't invite me to your wedding or Jays or Pugs
- 48:26Speaker 5: for that matter.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Well, I mean I hadn't even met Pugs at that stage.
- 48:30Speaker 4: Ye, you'd meet me, you'd met Jase.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Yeah, may mean we resurrected your career.
- 48:38Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Holdarky Levana there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show. This
- 48:46Speaker 2: Monday evening, the time is sex twenty five fellas.
- 48:50Speaker 3: This Wednesday is July the halfway so true.
- 48:53Speaker 4: Man, that's crazy, halfway through the year.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 48:55Speaker 3: It's crazy. A that also means that it's beer and
- 48:58Speaker 3: pie July, oh, my favorite time of year yaha, which
- 49:02Speaker 3: of course was brought about in response to dry July.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Everyone's doing drive a lie when you give up the beers,
- 49:07Speaker 3: e's or whatever for an entire month. And back then
- 49:09Speaker 3: we were like, oh stuff that we should do beer
- 49:11Speaker 3: and pie, Jalyn.
- 49:11Speaker 5: So yeah, well it wasn't nice. It was met in
- 49:13Speaker 5: Jerry on breakfast. Wasn't there any opportunity to get on
- 49:15Speaker 5: the hammer shockun bastards they were.
- 49:17Speaker 3: But they were certainly, you know, pioneering in that space.
- 49:20Speaker 3: So the Wednesday is the first of July. That means
- 49:23Speaker 3: Beer and Pie in July is officially underway, celebrating the
- 49:27Speaker 3: nation's best combo, a beer and a pie and encouraging
- 49:30Speaker 3: you to go out to your local bakeries and bars
- 49:32Speaker 3: and things like that and support local and get amongst
- 49:34Speaker 3: their delicious produce. And we've got an amazing prize to
- 49:36Speaker 3: give away next month as well.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Great.
- 49:39Speaker 3: I'm not going to say, or I'll say, is that
- 49:43Speaker 3: your pockets will treasure is what it's written here. So
- 49:47Speaker 3: I don't know what that means. Interesting, well, and I
- 49:49Speaker 3: was thinking about pie is making me very hungry? Yeah,
- 49:52Speaker 3: this this week, we've got a pie that we're going
- 49:54Speaker 3: to be having one night. It's like a chicken and
- 49:56Speaker 3: mushroom pie. Oh, a big family one.
- 50:00Speaker 5: We had those maybe it was last year we had
- 50:03Speaker 5: those ones that got flying up from the South Island.
- 50:05Speaker 4: There was that special pie joint. Do you remember last
- 50:08Speaker 4: year or it was last year.
- 50:09Speaker 2: It was very exhausticly. They were like mountain goat.
- 50:13Speaker 4: Right, sort of mountain oysters.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Yes, no, it was mountain I remember that one was
- 50:18Speaker 3: mountain goat something.
- 50:20Speaker 2: What are they called tar?
- 50:22Speaker 4: Yeah? Wild, yes, bloody good.
- 50:26Speaker 2: They were real good, funnily enough keesy. My wife and
- 50:29Speaker 2: I bought a chicken and mushroom big pie to day too,
- 50:33Speaker 2: the same joint that you did.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Really yeah, oh wow, yeah I've got one as well.
- 50:37Speaker 4: We got one too.
- 50:38Speaker 3: We're all having chicken, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah pie.
- 50:40Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, I'm having mind ladder in the week though,
- 50:42Speaker 5: probably Yeah, we're having some kind of a three cheese
- 50:48Speaker 5: debacle because we're getting onto this vegetarian set up of
- 50:51Speaker 5: eating and and I've got the food whatever it is
- 50:55Speaker 5: delivery service. And then if you don't eat meat, the
- 50:59Speaker 5: main thing you eat as cheese.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Hello, me know how good just.
- 51:03Speaker 5: A three cheese stew or something, you know what I mean,
- 51:07Speaker 5: cheese something like that.
- 51:09Speaker 4: It's not only a bowl of just a bowl of
- 51:14Speaker 4: melted cheese.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Sounds to me. He sounds like he's gonna get scurvy
- 51:17Speaker 2: a crusty loaf of bread.
- 51:19Speaker 5: Maybe, yeah, absolutely, it does have that, but that's yeah,

- 51:23Speaker 5: we go.
- 51:24Speaker 4: Let you know tomorrows.
- 51:25Speaker 3: Interestingly, my wife at the end of last week brought
- 51:28Speaker 3: home something which made me very, very very excited. It
- 51:31Speaker 3: was a family sized ready made lasagna that goes in
- 51:37Speaker 3: the oven there and for some reason that fired me.
- 51:38Speaker 4: Right, yeah you love it?
