- 0:09Speaker 1: here and a chance to see Harry Styles coming up
- 0:12Speaker 1: next after Dirty Little Secret, a trip on us. Make
- 0:15Speaker 1: that happen. Okay, Now, if you have a secret eight
- 0:17Speaker 1: three three seven eight seven one o two nine, Okay, confess.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I don't care what it is, just get it off
- 0:21Speaker 1: your chest, big secret, little secret, it doesn't matter. Okay.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's a no judgment zone and you got one. What's up?
- 0:28Speaker 2: Okay?
- 0:28Speaker 3: So look, I know this is gonna sound terrible, but
- 0:31Speaker 3: you gotta hear me out. Okay, My my grandma has
- 0:35Speaker 3: died three separate times.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Wait what, No, what does that mean? That's what my
- 0:45Speaker 1: job seeing your your grandma has died three times.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Three separate times. God bless your soul.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Well, okay, explain. Yeah, I'm so sad, now go ahead.
- 1:01Speaker 3: I mean, but here's the thing. Where I work. The
- 1:04Speaker 3: turnover is insane. I mean I've had at least four
- 1:07Speaker 3: different bosses in the last five years. Okay, so yeah,
- 1:11Speaker 3: so none of them know each other, and none of
- 1:13Speaker 3: them know my family. So every once in a while,
- 1:16Speaker 3: when I really need time off, I pull out the
- 1:19Speaker 3: emergency card and my grandma passed away.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Said yeah, this is so you said. She's died three
- 1:25Speaker 1: times and.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Every several times.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, so, I mean, but like it, it's
- 1:32Speaker 3: not the biggest secret. A couple of my coworkers know
- 1:35Speaker 3: about it, and I mean they think it's hysterical.
- 1:37Speaker 2: They do, and they're like yeah, and they'll be like, dang,
- 1:40Speaker 2: did your grandma die already?
- 1:42Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, but that was under the old management. Grandma.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Oh god, I don't know how you keep a straight face.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Oh that's a that's kind of funny. Yeah.
- 1:57Speaker 3: But the funniest part is my grandma's actually still alive
- 1:59Speaker 3: and she's totally fine.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Oh she is so good.
- 2:04Speaker 1: She does she know that? Oh she doesn't know she's died.
- 2:09Speaker 2: No zero.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh good. By the way, grammy, you've died eight times
- 2:14Speaker 1: at my new job.
- 2:16Speaker 3: So this is where I kind of felt bad about this.
- 2:20Speaker 3: But one time, I you know, I went as far
- 2:22Speaker 3: as posting a sad Facebook post with a picture of her.
- 2:25Speaker 2: So no that I mean, I said, I felt kind
- 2:30Speaker 2: of bad.
- 2:31Speaker 3: One of one of my bosses we were friends on Facebook,
- 2:35Speaker 3: so I kind of wanted to.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you had to go all in. Yeah, put
- 2:38Speaker 1: that ice on the cake. Hopefully Granny's not on Facebook
- 2:42Speaker 1: to have a heart attack, literally, like I died.
- 2:45Speaker 3: So that's probably that's probably the most unhinged part about it.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Oh, I mean, I really don't feel that bad.
- 2:51Speaker 1: That is funny. Oh you don't feel bad?
- 2:53Speaker 3: No?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Why not? I mean, who cares? It's fine. It's just
- 2:55Speaker 1: a job.
- 2:56Speaker 3: This company that I worked for, they squeeze every ounce
- 2:59Speaker 3: of work out of their people, and you know, I
- 3:01Speaker 3: mean they act like we're all replaceable.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So yeah, I mean I try to squeeze as much
- 3:04Speaker 2: time off out of them as I can.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yeah, why not? I mean if Grandma's got to die again,
- 3:09Speaker 1: she's got to die.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, but the way things are going, I'm
- 3:13Speaker 3: pretty sure that they're going to fire me anyways at
- 3:15Speaker 3: some point, so that happens. He knows, Grea, she might
- 3:19Speaker 3: have to die fourth time.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Yeah, get that vacation, give me that bereatment time. Yeah
- 3:26Speaker 1: you do. I mean, I I can hear the pain
- 3:28Speaker 1: in your voice, sir, right, Yeah, what is that song?
- 3:32Speaker 1: My granny got hit by a bazooka? We've all lied
- 3:36Speaker 1: to a job before, oh yeah, about to take a
- 3:39Speaker 1: day off, have we not?
- 3:41Speaker 3: Not?
- 3:42Speaker 1: No, you've never said something that didn't happen. Happened, No,
- 3:46Speaker 1: because it's so hard to take off with this job,
- 3:48Speaker 1: like no, somebody just jump in and replace it. And
- 3:51Speaker 1: about the other jobs not necessarily I know who has
- 3:54Speaker 1: not necessarily this job, but other jobs I have. Oh yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Back in the day, I'd never say immediate fan. I
- 4:00Speaker 1: always say my cousin, oh yeah, or distant aim, who's
- 4:03Speaker 1: had a hundred cousins die, what's going on in your family?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Had a motorcycle ri But I've always lied about like
- 4:10Speaker 1: you know, I mean car issues before uber, Oh yeah,
- 4:14Speaker 1: you know, or like my dog got loose one time
- 4:17Speaker 1: I said that. Who's gonna say, well, too bad. They're
- 4:20Speaker 1: gonna be like, well, go look for your dog. Yeah yeah,
- 4:22Speaker 1: that was a long time ago, not recent.
- 4:23Speaker 3: Wow.
- 4:24Speaker 1: So well, sir, thank you very much, and rest in
- 4:27Speaker 1: peace to your grandma.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Look, if you'll ever having a bad week at worked,
- 4:32Speaker 3: just you.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Know, I lay it out so you could play it out.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I appreciate it.
