- 0:08Speaker 1: What's up, my little babies? It is La La Kent
- 0:12Speaker 1: with Katie Maloney. Yay. So Randall is in Alabama doing
- 0:18Speaker 1: a film. So I have my little partner in crime,
- 0:22Speaker 1: my little bff, and we're going to talk all things
- 0:25Speaker 1: vander Pump, talk about shit. We're gonna basically write. I
- 0:30Speaker 1: want the audience to feel like they will fly on
- 0:32Speaker 1: the wall when Katie and I get together.
- 0:34Speaker 2: No, that's trouble.
- 0:36Speaker 1: We will drag a bit. Oh yeah, So Katie and
- 0:40Speaker 1: I did watch What Happens Live last week? Did you
- 0:44Speaker 1: have fun?
- 0:44Speaker 2: I had so much fun. I've missed it so much.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I hadn't done Watch Happens Live since I did it
- 0:49Speaker 2: with I did it with Stassy. I don't even know
- 0:52Speaker 2: when that was. I don't eve it was definitely twenty nineteen.
- 0:55Speaker 2: But what Yeah, so it's been Do you usually do
- 0:59Speaker 2: you usually do it?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Wishwartzy.
- 1:01Speaker 2: I feel like I mostly do it with Tom Okay.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I seldomly get to do it with like one of
- 1:06Speaker 2: my friends, like with another girl, and so it's always nice.
- 1:10Speaker 2: It's fun. I mean, I love doing with Tom. I
- 1:11Speaker 2: love to get to travel with him. Obviously, it's you know,
- 1:14Speaker 2: it's nice for us but it's just a different experience.
- 1:17Speaker 2: It's fun.
- 1:18Speaker 1: It's totally different when you do it with a friend,
- 1:20Speaker 1: and you and I have never done it with each other.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I know, like we've done it when they've come to
- 1:24Speaker 1: LA where we do like the group.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Yeah, but this is totally it's different. It's different to
- 1:29Speaker 2: go to New York and have the full experience.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I think so too. And usually we go and we
- 1:35Speaker 1: have a day full of press on like Tuesday, you
- 1:41Speaker 1: flew out to New York Sunday, right, And what did
- 1:44Speaker 1: you do when we got there?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Well, I got into the city around like seven thirty
- 1:49Speaker 2: because it takes a whole nay to get there, right.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And then I went and met up with Taylor Strekker
- 1:54Speaker 2: and Amanda Hurst from not Skinny Enough Enough Fat.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Oh my God Instagram page.
- 2:00Speaker 2: We you know, did the same thing. We had a
- 2:02Speaker 2: little a little drinking, little little dinner, A little drink,
- 2:06Speaker 2: a little goss says love it, you know, I love
- 2:09Speaker 2: all those. Yeah. We had just like a nice little
- 2:12Speaker 2: girls nights. It's fun.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I wanted to fly out with you, but I had
- 2:17Speaker 1: a commitment to do Heather McDonald's comedy show in Irvine,
- 2:20Speaker 1: so I took the Red Eye Sunday Night Trooper. Trooper.
- 2:26Speaker 1: It took everything in me to not have a mental
- 2:29Speaker 1: breakdown about leaving Ocean for the first time. Randall kept
- 2:32Speaker 1: having to remind me, like, it's two days, You're not dying.
- 2:37Speaker 1: It's all good. I get there. I've never slept better.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You did so good I did.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Obviously I knew you missed her, but you would FaceTime
- 2:46Speaker 2: with her, But you know you were I feel like
- 2:48Speaker 2: you were kind of like thriving.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I was thriving because even though I have the lug,
- 2:52Speaker 1: or had the luxury of a night nurse, you still
- 2:56Speaker 1: wake up in a panic because you want to know
- 2:59Speaker 1: if you're kids it is okay. And even now you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: Ocean sleeps in my bedroom and I still wake up
- 3:05Speaker 1: every five seconds to check on her, even though she
- 3:08Speaker 1: like sleeps through the night. So when I got to
- 3:11Speaker 1: go to New York to do watch What Happens, I
- 3:13Speaker 1: was living my best life, sleep in like a chance,
- 3:16Speaker 1: sleeping beauty. And then Tuesday night we watched the freaking
- 3:21Speaker 1: episode and then we do watch What Happens? Did anyone
- 3:24Speaker 1: tell Wenesday or Mond it was Monday?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Did We watched it Monday night? And then we did
- 3:28Speaker 2: watch it on side on Tuesday night, that's right. And
- 3:30Speaker 2: I was so confused because we're now we're on Tuesdays,
- 3:32Speaker 2: so like my we were Mondays were Wednesdays. Now we're Tuesdays,
- 3:36Speaker 2: so I have no idea.
- 3:37Speaker 1: No, you're right, we used to be on Monday. So
- 3:38Speaker 1: we watched the episode and then we did watch What
- 3:40Speaker 1: Happens for episode two. And I always get so nervous
- 3:46Speaker 1: doing watch What Happens live, you know, because.
- 3:48Speaker 2: The one thing is it is a live show, so
- 3:50Speaker 2: you can't mess up, you can't swear, you have to
- 3:52Speaker 2: make sure you're just on your A game.
- 3:56Speaker 1: On your A game. Yeah I did, Okay, tell me this.
- 4:00Speaker 1: When Andy said Lauren Kent abstains, was he throwing shade
- 4:06Speaker 1: at me?
- 4:08Speaker 2: No, I don't think so. I think he. I just
- 4:10Speaker 2: don't think he.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I thought.
- 4:11Speaker 2: I don't think he was thinking about I'm going to
- 4:14Speaker 2: purposely mispronounce her.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Name, but even calling, because you know how so many
- 4:18Speaker 1: people are like Lauren from Utah as if I don't
- 4:20Speaker 1: know where I'm from, or they need to remind me
- 4:22Speaker 1: of my real name. So many people were like Andy
- 4:26Speaker 1: just shaded la la and I was like, I didn't
- 4:29Speaker 1: get that I know.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't get that vibe at all.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I think he's trying to be like formal about it,
- 4:33Speaker 2: like right, you know, I don't think so.
- 4:36Speaker 1: But then I couldn't help myself because he said Lauren,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and I was like, no, no.
- 4:41Speaker 2: I know, you're always correcting people.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's just easier to go by la la. Yeah, a
- 4:46Speaker 1: name's so nice. She got in Lauren.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I know, so her name's so nice to say it twice?
- 4:52Speaker 1: Yeah, do you know what that's from? No Madagascar? Oh yeah,
- 4:57Speaker 1: Moto Moto. Oh he's the big he's the big hippo
- 5:00Speaker 1: Moto Moto. Did you get any text about us doing it?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Meaning like from anyone?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Nothing agreed and disagreed game because we said to him,
- 5:11Speaker 1: we said to Andy, he was like, you guys, it
- 5:14Speaker 1: is going to be a long day in the valley
- 5:16Speaker 1: of Los.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Angeles day in Los Angeles. No, no one, no one
- 5:21Speaker 2: has said anything to me.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Well, that's good.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Has anyone said anything to you?
- 5:25Speaker 1: I mean I had to make nice.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I mean, I know, I know some people aren't happy
- 5:29Speaker 2: with me, but no one has come forward and spoke
- 5:32Speaker 2: their peace to me.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Here's the thing about you.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Know, if you got an issue with me. I'm I'm
- 5:37Speaker 2: right here. You got my number.
- 5:39Speaker 1: You've got my number. That's what I love about you.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Though we're talking about you are way You're way more
- 5:45Speaker 1: like gangster than I could ever be. It's like, you
- 5:47Speaker 1: have an issue, you know where to find me, you
- 5:49Speaker 1: have my phone number. Like, I'm not upset with you,
- 5:51Speaker 1: so why would I reach out?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I like I didn't. I first of
- 5:55Speaker 2: all didn't mean it as any kind of We were
- 5:58Speaker 2: having fun. It's kind of the nature of the show. Oh,
- 6:00Speaker 2: we play some messy games. It's a little shady. We
- 6:02Speaker 2: were having like why not.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Like right like it?
- 6:05Speaker 2: It's just it's fun.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It is. The show is so fun. It's thirty minutes
- 6:11Speaker 1: with and that's with commercial breaks.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I wasn't mad at you that you said that you
- 6:16Speaker 2: think Tom and Tom have touched Dix. I was like, oh,
- 6:18Speaker 2: shady boots, But like I wasn't being like, well, why
- 6:21Speaker 2: would you sing that on national television? So now everyone's
- 6:25Speaker 2: gonna think that because you said it. It's like, you know.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Something like no, I don't care, like you're a boss bitch.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Let's let's like turn this game into not something serious.
- 6:33Speaker 2: It's a game.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It's a game. It's totally a game. And for those
- 6:36Speaker 1: of you who don't know what we're talking about, Katie
- 6:38Speaker 1: and I did watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen
- 6:41Speaker 1: and we played this game where he asked us questions
- 6:44Speaker 1: about our cast and we had to put agree or
- 6:46Speaker 1: disagree with what.
- 6:47Speaker 2: He was saying. Like he said a statement and we
- 6:49Speaker 2: said do we agree with it or disagree with it?
- 6:51Speaker 1: Correct? So the first one was what did Sheena find
- 6:56Speaker 1: the one in Brock? We both well, I like hesitation,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I didn't answer.
- 7:04Speaker 2: She says, and then I was like, no, yeah, no
- 7:06Speaker 2: there they're right for each other.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Right. Then there was another question that said, did Tom
- 7:12Speaker 1: Sandabal do more with Miami Girl than what he has said?
- 7:15Speaker 1: And we were both like, agreed, we messy.
- 7:19Speaker 2: It was a long time ago, and I don't think
- 7:20Speaker 2: he really cares what I think. And you know him
- 7:22Speaker 2: and Arianna are in a great place anyway, So.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Wait, I don't again, it's a fucking Disney game. Who
- 7:28Speaker 1: even cares? Okay, So now we have this new episode.
- 7:33Speaker 1: What did we do after watchro Happins Life? By the way, we.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Went back to the hotel and we ate pizza in bed.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It was, so, can I tell you did you have fun?
- 7:44Speaker 1: Because I was feeling I'm like, does Katie wish that
- 7:47Speaker 1: I would go out? Or is she like down to
- 7:50Speaker 1: eat pizza in bed?
- 7:51Speaker 2: I'm so down to eat pizza in bed. Plus we
- 7:53Speaker 2: had an early flight the next day. No, I I'm
- 7:56Speaker 2: not like a party animal this, I know, you know.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I like, I'm more like, let's have a great day,
- 8:04Speaker 2: Let's have a dinner, and then let's go to bed early.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Like that's like my kind of night or day.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, was like, you're in New York. What are you
- 8:13Speaker 1: guys gonna do? I was like, it's going to bed.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It's gonna be midnight. I'm surprised I'm here right now.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I know this is way past my bedtime.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah, where are you going after this? Uh, it's late,
- 8:26Speaker 2: I'm going to bed.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We literally laid in Katie's hotel room in her bed,
- 8:31Speaker 1: watched friends and devoured a giant pizza and talked all
- 8:37Speaker 1: the shit in the world, which is what we do best. Yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 1: but like, I don't know what we talked about, but
- 8:42Speaker 1: you don't remember.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Oh, probably just about the episode just means cringing at ourselves.
- 8:49Speaker 1: I go into a full spiral after I after an
- 8:52Speaker 1: episode airs, and after I do watch What Happens live,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I feel overly exposed.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's very vulnerable.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It is. Do get that way because you seemed so
- 9:02Speaker 1: chill after I do.
- 9:04Speaker 2: But it's both. It's very internalized, and I'm just I'm trying.
- 9:09Speaker 2: I'm just trying to turn it off. I can't. I
- 9:12Speaker 2: can't feed into it. I can't let the thoughts consume me,
- 9:17Speaker 2: for sure, and I just try to. You know, Tom's
- 9:20Speaker 2: really good at it. He will delete Twitter, He'll just
- 9:24Speaker 2: get rid of whatever he needs to to not let
- 9:27Speaker 2: it affect him. So I try to. I try to
- 9:29Speaker 2: follow that.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm so bad at it, and I have to obsess
- 9:33Speaker 1: over it, like my mom and my assistant just picked
- 9:36Speaker 1: me up from the airport the next day, and I
- 9:39Speaker 1: think I obsessed for like over an hour about everything
- 9:43Speaker 1: that sells. And I stay out of the comments section
- 9:45Speaker 1: and googling myself because I don't want to see anything.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you gotta yeah, but I mean, you're gonna
- 9:53Speaker 2: find something and then that's going to consume you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Well, we posted that picture, right, we posted that picture
- 9:59Speaker 1: that was so cue and there were so many nice comments,
- 10:02Speaker 1: and I fixated on like the ones literally there were
- 10:05Speaker 1: like I could count them on one hand. I fixated
- 10:08Speaker 1: on all the shitty ones.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I know why. I don't know why we're like that.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Everyone's like that, though they are because you know, those
- 10:18Speaker 2: those voices are the loudest.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It takes. I heard like twelve good comments to outweigh
- 10:24Speaker 1: one bad, and I'm like, well, I had well over
- 10:26Speaker 1: that and it's still didn't outweigh it. So I don't
- 10:29Speaker 1: know what to do about that. So a new episode
- 10:31Speaker 1: aired last night, Episode three, Yeah, what aren't Your Thoughts?
- 10:38Speaker 2: I thought it was really sweet. It was like a
- 10:41Speaker 2: it was a sweet There were so many sweet moments, especially,
- 10:45Speaker 2: you know, because we obviously don't see everything even though
- 10:49Speaker 2: we're there, right you know. I obviously I wasn't there
- 10:52Speaker 2: for James Raquel's conversation, but I found that like really touching.
- 10:56Speaker 2: It really also just seeing that side to ra Quel,
- 10:59Speaker 2: because I mean she she can be very you know,
- 11:03Speaker 2: quiet and shy and kind of you know, can be
- 11:05Speaker 2: closed off at times and retreats, you know, for obvious reasons,
- 11:10Speaker 2: as she said, so to not know that she was struggle,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I mean we saw her struggle giving that toast, but
- 11:16Speaker 2: to not know that there was you know, layers to that. Yeah, heartbreaking.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I was like, we're how old, I know, And it
- 11:22Speaker 2: was no one is like thinking anything like that or judging.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I didn't think one thing about her toast. I thought
- 11:27Speaker 1: it was so fun like the way she was like
- 11:30Speaker 1: and broken from truth. I thought she was so cute
- 11:33Speaker 1: and endearing and funny. I didn't think one thing about it,
- 11:36Speaker 1: and the fact that she was internalizing that so much
- 11:39Speaker 1: was so heartbreaking. I will say James handled that in
- 11:43Speaker 1: the sweetest way in the world.
- 11:45Speaker 2: So sweet. Yeah. I love seeing that between them and
- 11:48Speaker 2: just kind of seeing how, you know, just more like
- 11:52Speaker 2: that intimate scene in the relationship is the word just how,
- 11:56Speaker 2: but he is like a partner to her. It was
- 11:59Speaker 2: really sweet, see because I don't I don't see we
- 12:01Speaker 2: don't get to see that exactly. And then obviously their
- 12:04Speaker 2: engagement was incredible, and you know, we were there for that,
- 12:08Speaker 2: but just seeing it again, I was like, oh my god,
- 12:10Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I know because we were there, but we didn't get
- 12:13Speaker 1: to see him actually propose, like dude.
- 12:17Speaker 2: I remember pulling up because they told us we were
- 12:19Speaker 2: just going for a ride real quick because there some
- 12:21Speaker 2: people were going to come and like do something to
- 12:23Speaker 2: the house. And I was like, then where were you
- 12:25Speaker 2: guys for like three hours? If I if, I don't know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: And then we got in the car and then when
- 12:31Speaker 2: we pulled up to the field and then we got out,
- 12:33Speaker 2: like I remember, like I just started, like my eyes
- 12:36Speaker 2: welled up, of course, and I started crying because it
- 12:38Speaker 2: was just I was so overly stimulated because we hadn't been,
- 12:42Speaker 2: you know, socializing in groups, and I hadn't been on
- 12:45Speaker 2: a group trip in over a year and a half,
- 12:47Speaker 2: so like this was like a lot to take in.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I remember our feeling and I was just like this
- 12:51Speaker 2: is too much. I can't handle it.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I know, something as simple as just like hopping in
- 12:55Speaker 1: the car two hours to Palm Springs was like a
- 12:58Speaker 1: massive deal because we had been locked up for so long. Yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and what I want to know is at that house,
- 13:05Speaker 1: because I was at a different house when they said
- 13:07Speaker 1: they were going grocery shopping, Why did no one ask
- 13:11Speaker 1: where the groceries were when they walked in James and Sandoval,
- 13:16Speaker 1: no one person was like, where's all the food and
- 13:18Speaker 1: stuff we ordered?
- 13:19Speaker 2: I figured it was just like in the car and
- 13:21Speaker 2: like they're slowly bringing it in or and I don't know.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I didn't really think about it.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And I love that because if I would have been there,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I would have been like, what the fuck, where are
- 13:29Speaker 1: the cheese?
- 13:30Speaker 2: Its?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Schwartzy had eaten them all? He has cheese. It's and
- 13:34Speaker 1: like a lot of scenes look up.
- 13:36Speaker 2: With Jesus his mouth disgusting. That's not a drunk move
- 13:39Speaker 2: by where I did it because I figured like there
- 13:41Speaker 2: was probably like some other like surprise elements. So I
- 13:43Speaker 2: just figured, Okay, they're probably like maybe they're in the garage.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Maybe like we keep writing.
- 13:47Speaker 2: I didn't like, I really didn't like think too much
- 13:50Speaker 2: about it, you know. Also, I don't know, maybe they
- 13:53Speaker 2: just I don't know.
- 13:55Speaker 1: No, I'm thrilled about it.
- 13:57Speaker 2: They were gone forever. They were gone for literally three.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Hours, yeah, writing a lot.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Of checks and then oh my god. Yeah, and then
- 14:04Speaker 2: when they came back, I was like, check, gone for
- 14:05Speaker 2: three hours, and it's like we're all ready and the
- 14:09Speaker 2: house is it doesn't look like we're having a festival here.
- 14:13Speaker 1: And no, it was totally normal.
- 14:14Speaker 2: We gotta go on a ride for like twenty minutes
- 14:17Speaker 2: and they're gonna We've got people come into the house
- 14:20Speaker 2: to like set it up, and I'm like, what I
- 14:22Speaker 2: knew something was up, did you? Well at that moment,
- 14:26Speaker 2: I was like, oh, where are we going? Right?
- 14:29Speaker 1: It was really amazing to see because like I like Coachella,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but like that's as far as it goes. Like there
- 14:36Speaker 1: have been multiple years that I've gone where I've literally
- 14:38Speaker 1: given my wristband away and I just stay at the
- 14:40Speaker 1: house and chill by my own pool, and I like,
- 14:43Speaker 1: don't even go to the festival. So to see you
- 14:46Speaker 1: be so excited where Keul was crying, Arianna was crying,
- 14:51Speaker 1: Charlie was so excited she fell out of the bus.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh my god. It was and it was like all
- 14:58Speaker 2: just for like us. It was like our private like
- 15:01Speaker 2: little thing is I mean, it was sensory overload.
- 15:04Speaker 1: I was overload. Yeah, Okay, I want to continue talking
- 15:08Speaker 1: about the episode, but we're going to cut to a break.
- 15:10Speaker 1: When we get back, we are going to be talking
- 15:12Speaker 1: more VPR with Katie Maloney. We are back with my
- 15:20Speaker 1: best friend Katie Maloney. Okay, so we go to Palm Springs.
- 15:25Speaker 1: This is what I have to talk to you about
- 15:27Speaker 1: what you referred and see now I keep saying it
- 15:29Speaker 1: in my mind, were you saying, yo no Oko.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Her name is Yoko Ono.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Right, but what were you saying in the scene?
- 15:36Speaker 2: I said, oh no, Yoko, don't.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yo know o kom don't yo know okom no. But
- 15:41Speaker 1: you had just I loved it because I was drunk.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I mean, you see me, like I'm sipping on this shot.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I'm like, and I'm like, don't yo no oko me,
- 15:52Speaker 2: don't wait?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Oh whatever, See now I don't even know what it is.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Isn't it Yoko Ono?
- 15:58Speaker 2: Yeah, her name's Yoko Ono.
- 15:59Speaker 1: But you said yo Oka? I said, Oka, lady, what
- 16:03Speaker 1: the fuck even is it now?
- 16:04Speaker 2: I said, ok Yo? I said, oh, don't oko yo me,
- 16:08Speaker 2: don't Oka. I was just like and I was like,
- 16:11Speaker 2: just not even thinking twice didn't even occur to me.
- 16:13Speaker 2: But I was drunk. I was drunk, and I just
- 16:17Speaker 2: I don't know. But I mean, you know what I
- 16:19Speaker 2: was saying.
- 16:20Speaker 1: No, everyone knew what you were saying.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Sometimes, you know, it's just like, don't like, don't just
- 16:24Speaker 2: know what I mean what I say. Okay, that's what
- 16:26Speaker 2: I feel like.
- 16:27Speaker 1: It's not the deep. It is not the Deep's not.
- 16:30Speaker 2: The deep, y'all. But yeah, no, I thought it was hilarious.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I was hilarious.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Dying Katie, and you know how chic I think your
- 16:38Speaker 1: haircut is. Oh god, what He's so funny everything that
- 16:46Speaker 1: comes out of his mouth about the Karen haircut and
- 16:49Speaker 1: haircut cut to your interview. If you ever want to
- 16:53Speaker 1: have sex ever again in your fucking life.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe don't call my haircut Karen haircut. Like what
- 17:00Speaker 2: he really knows how to just like.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Turn you off, kill my boner, kill my phoner. Really
- 17:08Speaker 1: it's so funny. I loved it. And so this this
- 17:12Speaker 1: episode was really like a feel good episode.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I thought, Yeah, I mean I don't think did anybody fight?
- 17:19Speaker 1: No, but no one. We don't need to be ripping
- 17:21Speaker 1: each other's heads off every episode like that gets played out.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I've watched shows like that, like that's what Bad Girls
- 17:27Speaker 1: Club does, and it's so entertaining, but after a while
- 17:30Speaker 1: you're like, I just need a breather, Like can we
- 17:32Speaker 1: just like show you guys having fun and getting along
- 17:34Speaker 1: for five seconds?
- 17:35Speaker 2: Trust me, there's plenty of that coming up. So like
- 17:37Speaker 2: that's what I was gonna sit cown before the storm.
- 17:40Speaker 1: This episode was really just that, the calm before the storm.
- 17:45Speaker 1: It really sets up what this season is about and
- 17:50Speaker 1: all things that are about to happen. Do you agree? Yea, yeah,
- 17:55Speaker 1: it's a little I know, I.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Don't want to gets in trouble, but.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Yeah, don't worry. We're not going to share all the storylines.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but yeah you can see what's what's right, just
- 18:07Speaker 2: some stuff bubbling under the surface.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Okay, And what for you, what was the most fun
- 18:14Speaker 1: you had this season? And what was like the most
- 18:18Speaker 1: like I feel and without giving storylines away obviously, but like,
- 18:24Speaker 1: was it just being back and it was amazing? Like
- 18:26Speaker 1: what what was the vibe for you?
- 18:29Speaker 2: Oh? I mean it's just yeah, being back, like just yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 2: being back for sure, Yeah was the most fun. I
- 18:36Speaker 2: mean I had a lot of fun and pump springs,
- 18:39Speaker 2: I had just fun with you.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I had fun with you too.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I mean yeah, there wasn't one specific thing that's standing
- 18:47Speaker 2: out the most.
- 18:48Speaker 1: To me because we had been locked up for so long.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I didn't know what was going to happen with our show,
- 18:54Speaker 1: So that makes total sense.
- 18:55Speaker 2: It felt good just to be like back, you know,
- 18:59Speaker 2: and just live in outside and love in.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Do you like a camera in your face? I do?
- 19:08Speaker 2: I like it? Yeah, I mean I don't. I don't
- 19:11Speaker 2: know if if the word is like, but like, I
- 19:13Speaker 2: don't it didn't.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I forget right that it's there. Because we were asked
- 19:17Speaker 1: a question on Watch What Happens Live, and it was
- 19:20Speaker 1: like who likes being like? Who's the most into like
- 19:24Speaker 1: being famous? We both said, sand of all.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I mean I think I don't like it.
- 19:32Speaker 1: You don't like it?
- 19:33Speaker 2: Being like I don't. First of all, fame is really
- 19:36Speaker 2: weird thing to say.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Anyway, But I mean we're not Beyonce and jay Z.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I get that, No, But.
- 19:41Speaker 2: I mean I probably don't. You know, I enjoy like
- 19:46Speaker 2: animinity more than anything. Right, Well, if I had to
- 19:49Speaker 2: choose animinity or favorite like, I would choose to be
- 19:52Speaker 2: more anonymous.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Right. So what about reality TV keeps you coming back?
- 19:58Speaker 1: Does it fuel your soul? Because there's so many times
- 20:00Speaker 1: that we wrap a season and I'm exhausted because it's
- 20:04Speaker 1: like therapy every single day where you're constantly having to
- 20:08Speaker 1: talk about your emotions and feelings, and I'm like, I
- 20:11Speaker 1: don't think I can go through this again. And then
- 20:14Speaker 1: you take a break and right when they say we've
- 20:16Speaker 1: been picked up for another season, I'm fucking ready to go.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It's funny that I said that. I prefer adminity when
- 20:22Speaker 2: I sit on a reality show and put my entire
- 20:24Speaker 2: life out there, just meaning like I don't like the
- 20:27Speaker 2: attention and I'm not an attention whorese, so like, you know,
- 20:31Speaker 2: I feel like awkward when I'm like, you know, I'm
- 20:34Speaker 2: in public and whatever, the recognizability or whatever. That's what
- 20:38Speaker 2: I mean by that. But reality TV won't hook you.
- 20:42Speaker 2: I don't know. I just like we've been doing this
- 20:43Speaker 2: for so long.
- 20:44Speaker 1: It's like a part of your daily life, so it's
- 20:46Speaker 1: a part.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Of just it's just become ingrained in me, and I
- 20:49Speaker 2: just I love it. I love it and I love
- 20:52Speaker 2: I love that I get the opportunity to do this.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I love the family that we've created. I love our
- 21:00Speaker 2: that we get to work with. I love you know, Bravo.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I love what I've just like really just fallen in
- 21:08Speaker 2: love with. With the whole process of it. I mean,
- 21:12Speaker 2: it's not easy. It is really really not easy. And
- 21:15Speaker 2: I think anyone who has seen who's a fan of
- 21:20Speaker 2: it and has also seen the side of you know,
- 21:23Speaker 2: what goes into it right understands that. But you know,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I just I want to keep doing it as long
- 21:30Speaker 2: as poss long as I possibly can I'll keep sharing
- 21:34Speaker 2: all the good, bad, ugly, the fun everything.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Yeah. I try to think of it as you know,
- 21:43Speaker 1: obviously we're sharing our lives. But the other side of
- 21:48Speaker 1: it is, you know, you do get people reaching out
- 21:51Speaker 1: to you who connect with your story.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, that's that's what thing too.
- 21:56Speaker 1: It makes it so worth it because we you try
- 22:00Speaker 1: to paint this pretty picture and really reality TV is
- 22:05Speaker 1: like a giant mirror for us, you know where it's like, okay,
- 22:10Speaker 1: that is something that I could work on. Granted we
- 22:12Speaker 1: have an editing process because you can't show our entire
- 22:17Speaker 1: lives in just an hour a week episode.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we would need way more hours, which, by the way,
- 22:25Speaker 2: more episodes.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. I was really upset. I think that they
- 22:30Speaker 1: don't show when we have the white just us dressed
- 22:33Speaker 1: in white for that dinner, which it was a very calm,
- 22:37Speaker 1: chill dinner, but we all looked so good. I know,
- 22:40Speaker 1: we always have pictures, right, we looked cheap. Well, I
- 22:44Speaker 1: think we all had posted that picture on our Instagram too. Yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 1: and that was a vibe. It was a vibe.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Uh well, I think it's a rally. TV is like
- 22:53Speaker 2: a monet, you know, and fire away, it's really pity,
- 22:55Speaker 2: but up close it would be so much. And that's
- 22:58Speaker 2: what it does, is it kind of like puts everyone
- 23:01Speaker 2: who you know, we don't you don't know people's lives
- 23:04Speaker 2: from a distance. But then when you like put a
- 23:06Speaker 2: magnifying glass on the or put someone's life under a
- 23:09Speaker 2: magnifying glass, which reality TV does, it's really messy.
- 23:13Speaker 1: It's very messy.
- 23:14Speaker 2: But it's like, I like, you know, I think I
- 23:16Speaker 2: think real life is complicated and everyone can relate to
- 23:22Speaker 2: you know, someone's marriage, or someone's relationship with their best friend,
- 23:26Speaker 2: or a working a work dynamic. And that's why I
- 23:29Speaker 2: think so many people get so you know, addicted to
- 23:33Speaker 2: these shows because it's just like you can you know
- 23:36Speaker 2: just kind of what do you what am I trying
- 23:40Speaker 2: to say?
- 23:40Speaker 1: You can kind of lose yourself.
- 23:41Speaker 2: You lose yourself in it and you be like, you know,
- 23:43Speaker 2: you identify with like with everybody.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Right, and it's it's great background noise as well. Like
- 23:51Speaker 1: the amount of times I've rewatched Real Housewives of New
- 23:54Speaker 1: York is not only epic, it's a little embarrassing because
- 24:02Speaker 1: I know every episode, like I can I fall asleep
- 24:04Speaker 1: to it and I can like laugh when my eyes
- 24:06Speaker 1: are closed because I know exactly the scene, you know,
- 24:09Speaker 1: and the setup. So it is like, it's nice to
- 24:12Speaker 1: go home after a long day of work and watch
- 24:14Speaker 1: other people be a hot fucking mess. How are Schwartzy
- 24:20Speaker 1: and Sandobal? How's the bar good? It's good?
- 24:25Speaker 2: It's coming along.
- 24:26Speaker 1: You, I mean, you and Arianna have a pretty cool
- 24:31Speaker 1: storyline this season for people to look forward to. I
- 24:34Speaker 1: know that Ariana was like my most favorite part of
- 24:36Speaker 1: this season is something that I can't talk can't talk about.
- 24:40Speaker 1: I can't talk about it. See, I've watched the episode
- 24:42Speaker 1: so much where I hear James Kennedy's voice give me
- 24:45Speaker 1: your hand, your beautiful hands.
- 24:48Speaker 2: I'm so excited for people to finally learn what we're doing.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Yeah, here's the real question that everyone wants to know.
- 24:59Speaker 1: What are the Toms still naming their bar Schwartz and Sandy?
- 25:03Speaker 2: I think so, you.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Know, I mean they even took a poll on watch
- 25:08Speaker 1: what Happens? Like, I know, people went crazy for your name.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I know, once upon a Tom, Once upon a Tom.
- 25:14Speaker 2: It's so good. Like every time I say the name
- 25:17Speaker 2: to somebody that go, oh, I know that, I'm like,
- 25:20Speaker 2: I know, it's great and it's not because it's like
- 25:24Speaker 2: I'm amazing, My ideas are amazing. It's just it's just
- 25:27Speaker 2: a great name and with their concept and I see
- 25:30Speaker 2: all the materials and the colors and everything that they're using,
- 25:33Speaker 2: and I'm like, this is that this is just so
- 25:36Speaker 2: perfect for it, you guys right, And I just I
- 25:41Speaker 2: feel like it's just yeah, it's just such a missed opportunity,
- 25:45Speaker 2: damn it.
- 25:45Speaker 1: I know, definitely. And do you feel like now the
- 25:48Speaker 1: horse is like dead and we should let it rest
- 25:50Speaker 1: in peace? Like I know that the name is a
- 25:52Speaker 1: huge storyline this season and we talked about it on
- 25:55Speaker 1: Watch What Happens, But like, is it one of those
- 25:57Speaker 1: things where like they're not budging on the name. Know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: Schwartzy has still said he's not a huge fan, but
- 26:03Speaker 1: he he goes with the flow of things. But I
- 26:06Speaker 1: think he's a I think he knows how to do.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Like if I were to separate the Toms and tell
- 26:12Speaker 1: them both go out and start something on your own,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I think Schwartzy would do it faster and better than
- 26:20Speaker 1: Tom Sandoval. You don't have to weigh in on that.
- 26:22Speaker 1: There's my little tea that I've spilled, little shit that
- 26:26Speaker 1: I've talked. You know, he's just more quiet about things.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Yeah, No, fully, he just likes he likes to be
- 26:33Speaker 2: able to do things with someone else. He did, he
- 26:36Speaker 2: didn't want to do it alone, but like he won.
- 26:39Speaker 1: One well by the way the two of them together,
- 26:42Speaker 1: they offer like the perfect combination of what's needed.
- 26:46Speaker 2: They're like they're the Toms, They're like the brand. They're
- 26:49Speaker 2: totally they're you know, they've they they've they've kind of
- 26:51Speaker 2: like built this sort of like thing together. So it
- 26:54Speaker 2: makes sense. And that's why, you know.
- 26:56Speaker 1: No, I agree, And Sandoval is great with like the
- 26:59Speaker 1: con conceptive things, and he has this vision. Schwartzy is
- 27:05Speaker 1: more about the logistics of everything, right, you know. So
- 27:10Speaker 1: I do think the combination of the two of them
- 27:12Speaker 1: has made that brand very successful for sure. Yeah, and
- 27:17Speaker 1: you know what, watch they're going to open this bar.
- 27:20Speaker 1: It's gonna be crazy fucking busy. No one's gonna give
- 27:23Speaker 1: a shit about the name after it's open. It's well, yeah,
- 27:26Speaker 1: Katie Will, Katie Will.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I just still think I think it's still not gonna
- 27:31Speaker 2: make any sense.
- 27:32Speaker 1: Probably, but I think that when we go we should
- 27:35Speaker 1: still say, like, hey, do you want to go to
- 27:37Speaker 1: Once upon a Tom tonight. We should just call it that,
- 27:41Speaker 1: should we? Because it's great.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Someone pointed out that the acroname for once upon a
- 27:45Speaker 2: Tom is once oh upon you Tom, t oh.
- 27:51Speaker 1: U T Let's go out. I know, I told I
- 27:54Speaker 1: said that Tom.
- 27:55Speaker 2: He's like, oh my god, it's even better, and I'm like,
- 27:57Speaker 2: I know.
- 27:57Speaker 1: No, there are things that just keep getting better better,
- 28:01Speaker 1: I know.
- 28:01Speaker 2: So I don't know. I think, I just I know
- 28:04Speaker 2: Standeville like he maybe, I don't know, I don't want,
- 28:08Speaker 2: I don't it's I feel like it's maybe that thing
- 28:10Speaker 2: of like they don't want to change it because everyone
- 28:11Speaker 2: told him it's bad. But it's like but like it's
- 28:14Speaker 2: feedback and like the same way we all have to
- 28:16Speaker 2: take the you know, constructive criticism and feedback to better
- 28:20Speaker 2: a brand. That's why there's you know, they do like
- 28:24Speaker 2: group studies and comment cards, and you know, people would pay.
- 28:28Speaker 1: A lot of money to get the the what is
- 28:31Speaker 1: it called what feedback? I guess we'll just call it that.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Andy referred to it as something. But people pay a
- 28:38Speaker 1: lot of money to get that level of feedback on something,
- 28:42Speaker 1: and it's like basically free for them. So now you
- 28:45Speaker 1: have to just like let them be with shortsies and
- 28:48Speaker 1: Sandy's or shorts and sandy. See it's a it'sful too.
- 28:51Speaker 2: It's hard to say, it's hard to spell. It's you know,
- 28:54Speaker 2: any any anyone in marketing and branding would say, like, yop,
- 28:59Speaker 2: well here's here's there's a two minute diet tribe of
- 29:01Speaker 2: like why this is a terrible name. But like if
- 29:03Speaker 2: they don't want to listen, they don't want to listen.
- 29:05Speaker 1: By the way, let's talk about this really fast before
- 29:07Speaker 1: we got to go. Who calls Sandabal Sandy?
- 29:11Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 29:12Speaker 1: I think I started calling him that after the bar name,
- 29:16Speaker 1: but like I've never heard that before.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Let's call him like Tom Schwartz. We call him like
- 29:20Speaker 2: t sand.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Well, that makes more sense to name it that then, right,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I mean, I've never heard anyone call him Sandy. So
- 29:29Speaker 1: before we sign off, would you like to spell out
- 29:31Speaker 1: how to spell this bar name? So when people decide
- 29:33Speaker 1: to go.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Okay, s C H W A R t Z and
- 29:42Speaker 2: I think they're spelling it is it? I don't know
- 29:44Speaker 2: if they're spelling essay and d I E s orr
- 29:47Speaker 2: with y. I have no idea. I don't know if
- 29:49Speaker 2: there's an apostrophe in there. I have no clue.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, why Sandy not?
- 29:56Speaker 2: Even when Standaval was doing his Maco you'll see.
- 30:00Speaker 1: He spelled Schwartz's name wrong. Like, if you guys can't
- 30:04Speaker 1: get this right, no one was gonna get it out.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Did they film that? That's gonna be epic.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I had the best time with you. Thanks for hosting
- 30:13Speaker 1: the podcast, My pleasure anytime. I love you so much
- 30:17Speaker 1: for this. I love you you guys. When we get back,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I'm going to answer all of your questions that you've
- 30:23Speaker 1: submitted via email, and I've also put some questions up
- 30:27Speaker 1: on my Instagram, so I'm answering them all. We will
- 30:30Speaker 1: be right back, and we are back with the last segment.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Katie was freaking awesome. I love that we get to
- 30:40Speaker 1: like recap each episode like it airs on a Tuesday,
- 30:43Speaker 1: and we get to come out with this on a Wednesday.
- 30:46Speaker 1: It's like, I think it'll be fun for people now
- 30:49Speaker 1: this segment. Since I don't have my better half, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: have my other better half. Jess.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Hi, I'm back and.
- 30:56Speaker 1: We are answering your questions. So, Jess, what's the first
- 31:01Speaker 1: question that people want to know? So fun?
- 31:03Speaker 3: So you guys submitted these on Instagram. I also picked
- 31:07Speaker 3: some questions off of Lalla's TikTok give them Lalla.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I can't believe I'm so late to TikTok.
- 31:13Speaker 3: She's doing really good at it though. I'm really proud,
- 31:16Speaker 3: and you guys seem to love it.
- 31:17Speaker 1: I can't keep up with all of the social media.
- 31:20Speaker 1: It's like it was Twitter then, you know, it started
- 31:22Speaker 1: with the MySpace. It just constantly is evolving, and I'm
- 31:26Speaker 1: like a ninety year old where I want zero part
- 31:28Speaker 1: of all of it. There's horrible at it.
- 31:31Speaker 3: So much social, so much social. Okay, we're going to
- 31:34Speaker 3: get into these questions, so first and foremost, we're going
- 31:39Speaker 3: to start with a deep one.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Laala.
- 31:41Speaker 3: You were bullied as a child. Do you ever say
- 31:43Speaker 3: to yourself, haha, bullies, look at me now, I've succeeded.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like I think about that often, like
- 31:52Speaker 1: and not in the way where it's like, look at
- 31:55Speaker 1: me now, motherfuckers, in a way where you know, I
- 31:59Speaker 1: was bullied for such a long time, and that's the
- 32:02Speaker 1: reason I'm pretty abrupt and sharp when people come for
- 32:06Speaker 1: me or I feel like I need to defend myself.
- 32:09Speaker 1: It kind of takes me back to being a child
- 32:11Speaker 1: and makes for a great show, but it attaches itself
- 32:15Speaker 1: to my everyday life, which I'm working on in therapy,
- 32:17Speaker 1: trust me. But it's more of like this feeling where
- 32:23Speaker 1: I was bullied as a kid. And yes, I look
- 32:25Speaker 1: back and think of the times where I'd be like
- 32:27Speaker 1: one day like I'm going to do something. I know
- 32:30Speaker 1: I'm going to do something cool, and here I am.
- 32:32Speaker 1: That's a great feeling. But then there are times where
- 32:35Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my gosh, I was bullied, And then
- 32:38Speaker 1: there's so many moments where I myself turn into a bully,
- 32:42Speaker 1: like I've almost taken on like that type of energy.
- 32:46Speaker 1: So it's like, yeah, I say that, but there are
- 32:48Speaker 1: times where I'm a bully as well. So does that
- 32:51Speaker 1: make any sense?
- 32:52Speaker 3: No, that makes total sense. And like you said, you're
- 32:54Speaker 3: working on it in therapy. That's probably where it comes from.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Shout out to therapy. It's good for everyone.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I love a good there.
- 33:00Speaker 3: I am curious, though, have you been back to Utah
- 33:04Speaker 3: and come across those bullies face to face, whether or
- 33:06Speaker 3: not it's like high school reunion or you ran into
- 33:09Speaker 3: them at the store, and were they nice to you?
- 33:12Speaker 3: Were they brats to you.
- 33:14Speaker 1: You know. I when I go back to Utah, I
- 33:17Speaker 1: usually just like I literally stay at my mom's house
- 33:19Speaker 1: and I don't leave, or I'll go to like my
- 33:21Speaker 1: childhood friend's home. Like I don't really go out and about,
- 33:25Speaker 1: so I haven't run into anybody. But I get a
- 33:27Speaker 1: lot of dms from people where I'm like, you literally stuck,
- 33:30Speaker 1: like MAXI pads to my car, not used, but like, no,
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm good on you, Like I'm good on you. Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: why do you suddenly care how I'm doing? Yeah, Like,
- 33:40Speaker 1: google me, bitch, I'm doing great.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Google herbitch. Okay, moving on. Ooh, this is a good one.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Why don't you and Rand follow each other on Instagram?
- 33:50Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, we've spoken about this so much when
- 33:52Speaker 1: we first started dating. I don't know why. We just
- 33:55Speaker 1: like decided to not only not follow each other but
- 34:00Speaker 1: block each other. And it's always worked. And I love
- 34:03Speaker 1: Ran so much, but his mugshot selfies that he takes
- 34:06Speaker 1: are enough to put me six feet deep. So it's
- 34:08Speaker 1: better because I already try to control him. Yeah. Another
- 34:12Speaker 1: thing I'm working on in therapy is controlling people, mostly
- 34:15Speaker 1: just Rand, where like I want to control like what
- 34:17Speaker 1: he wears and what shoes you saw this morning? I
- 34:21Speaker 1: was like, do you have to wear these heinous slides?
- 34:23Speaker 3: Yeah? I mean they weren't the greatest slides, but like
- 34:26Speaker 3: he likes them.
- 34:27Speaker 1: I don't. I'm burning them when he gets back. I
- 34:31Speaker 1: hate them so much, so I just like it's better.
- 34:35Speaker 1: It's one less thing for me to like pick on,
- 34:39Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, and my mom will send me screenshots
- 34:41Speaker 1: and be like, look how cute this picture is. Where
- 34:44Speaker 1: is he? And I'm like, I can't even focus on
- 34:46Speaker 1: anything except for the mugshot selfie? Yeah? Yeah, I think
- 34:50Speaker 1: that's smart.
- 34:51Speaker 3: I think more couples should maybe do that because it
- 34:53Speaker 3: would cause less fights. Just focus on real life stuff
- 34:57Speaker 3: and not ig stuff.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That's how I feel.
- 34:59Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, moving on. Oh interesting? Can you elaborate on
- 35:04Speaker 3: the never before seen footage where Arianna shows you her texts?
- 35:10Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, okay, yes I can. Okay, I didn't
- 35:14Speaker 1: know that Bravo or we started doing that? Wait?
- 35:17Speaker 3: What is because they put never before seen in quotes?
- 35:20Speaker 1: So what is that? So apparently like the before the
- 35:25Speaker 1: new episode airs, they show a never be seen never before?
- 35:30Speaker 1: What did I just say?
- 35:31Speaker 3: Never be seen, never before?
- 35:37Speaker 1: Never before seen episode where they take clips that weren't
- 35:41Speaker 1: shown in like the actual episode. Oh I love that.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Actually I loved it too. So Arianna is like showing
- 35:48Speaker 1: me her phone and scrolling and I take the phone
- 35:51Speaker 1: and it's literally like birth like happy birthday text messages,
- 35:56Speaker 1: which was she basically proved my point. I say, we're
- 35:59Speaker 1: surface level, like I get happy birthday messages from people
- 36:03Speaker 1: I don't even know, but get ain't that deep? Yeah,
- 36:05Speaker 1: so that was my point. I'm like, yes, you've been
- 36:08Speaker 1: texting me, but this goes back to when I said
- 36:11Speaker 1: I don't care about you, you don't care about me,
- 36:14Speaker 1: and it goes both ways. I mean, none of us,
- 36:15Speaker 1: neither of us have been like, hey, want to grab lunch. No,
- 36:18Speaker 1: we send basic text messages like happy Birthday that I
- 36:23Speaker 1: send to people who I haven't seen in fifteen years
- 36:26Speaker 1: that I just happened to see an Instagram social that
- 36:28Speaker 1: says it's their birthday, and I feel like that's the
- 36:30Speaker 1: nice thing to do, is wish them a happy birthday.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah. So what she was trying to prove, just so
- 36:36Speaker 3: I understand what the text was, not it You don't
- 36:38Speaker 3: feel like that she was proving anything.
- 36:41Speaker 1: No, it was literally it. Actually, when she handed me
- 36:44Speaker 1: the phone, I thought I was going to see something profound,
- 36:47Speaker 1: like hey, would you like to grab lunch? Hello? Where
- 36:50Speaker 1: are you? How's your baby? Is she good? Like it
- 36:54Speaker 1: was nothing. It was like happy birthday. Like the text
- 36:57Speaker 1: were very surface level, which just validates the point I
- 37:00Speaker 1: was trying to make.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, interesting, all right, never before seen. Next question,
- 37:08Speaker 3: why oh this is a spicy one.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Why were you.
- 37:11Speaker 3: Such a bitch?
- 37:13Speaker 1: Oh Charlie, I love a good bitch.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Word when she had legitimate family trauma.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that that confessional she did was heartbreaking,
- 37:24Speaker 1: you know. The only thing. So here's the thing with Charlie.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I love her, but last year, like I didn't film
- 37:32Speaker 1: with her at all. We had like zero, We didn't
- 37:35Speaker 1: have any interaction, like literally nothing. So when she was
- 37:38Speaker 1: saying that we had been mean to her, it was like, no,
- 37:42Speaker 1: because we never hung out with you, We never really
- 37:45Speaker 1: filmed with you. And I also go back to when
- 37:47Speaker 1: I first started. So when I see people are crying
- 37:51Speaker 1: because someone was mean to them, I'm like, oh, you
- 37:53Speaker 1: have no idea how hard this group was to get
- 37:56Speaker 1: along with. Yeah, and how like vicious they were to me.
- 37:59Speaker 1: And I was right back. But she was obviously referring
- 38:04Speaker 1: to the part where I said that she was a moron,
- 38:07Speaker 1: because all I knew was that she said she had
- 38:10Speaker 1: a theory that pasta made you gain weight, and I
- 38:13Speaker 1: was like, well, no shit, yeah, yeah, that's not a theory,
- 38:17Speaker 1: that's just a fact. So when I saw that, of course,
- 38:20Speaker 1: I didn't even think, like, no way, this goes way deeper.
- 38:24Speaker 1: This must be a childhood trauma. So obviously, if I
- 38:27Speaker 1: would have known that, I would have never made any
- 38:30Speaker 1: sort of comment. But I only knew what she had
- 38:34Speaker 1: put out there, which was pasta makes you gain weight.
- 38:37Speaker 1: So I said, you're so stupid thing to say.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah that.
- 38:44Speaker 1: I didn't feel. You want to know what's crazy, Jess,
- 38:46Speaker 1: let's hear it is on Watch What Happens Live. They
- 38:48Speaker 1: asked me like, do you think you were too hard?
- 38:52Speaker 1: Like in the episode where we're sitting down and I
- 38:55Speaker 1: was saying, this is interesting, why does James get babied?
- 38:58Speaker 1: I felt like I was so calm, cool and collected,
- 39:04Speaker 1: So I literally don't think I could have been any calmer. Actually, yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 1: yeah in that sort of setting. Because I've gone off
- 39:12Speaker 1: in the past about a lot of things where it's like, Okay,
- 39:14Speaker 1: I could have muzzled myself a little bit. Yeah, So
- 39:18Speaker 1: when they asked that question, I was like, I don't
- 39:20Speaker 1: feel like I was really that hard on anybody. Yeah,
- 39:22Speaker 1: you know, yeah, I don't know.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I watched it. I agree. I mean, we all know
- 39:26Speaker 3: that Laala is no stranger to going.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Off being an asshole, being a bitch. By the way,
- 39:33Speaker 1: the Bitch montage made me so happy.
- 39:35Speaker 3: It was the greatest thing I've ever seen.
- 39:37Speaker 1: That was so crazy they deleted my post. Instagram did Yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 1: because I posted a picture of Katie and myself and
- 39:45Speaker 1: I like captioned it bitch with like a star as
- 39:50Speaker 1: the eye. People reported it, and it's so crazy because
- 39:53Speaker 1: I won't say any names, but I was bullied by
- 39:57Speaker 1: bullied quote unquote. I hate using that term, but I
- 40:00Speaker 1: mean my post got flagged because I was bullying and
- 40:04Speaker 1: harassing apparently myself. I was literally for two weeks, I
- 40:09Speaker 1: called a crackhead, a crack baby, a whore, pictures being
- 40:13Speaker 1: posted of me, and no one from Instagram did anything
- 40:17Speaker 1: for like two weeks. And this happened more than once. Yeah,
- 40:20Speaker 1: I won't say who did it. But then I post
- 40:22Speaker 1: a picture of myself and literally less than twenty four
- 40:24Speaker 1: hours in it's taken down. Instagram do better, Bro do better, Instagram,
- 40:29Speaker 1: do better.
- 40:30Speaker 3: But on the bright side, you did post it to
- 40:33Speaker 3: TikTok and it's still there, So shout out to.
- 40:36Speaker 1: TikTok, TikTok. That's what's up.
- 40:38Speaker 3: That's what's up, all right. Next question, we have what
- 40:44Speaker 3: is the first emotion that comes to your mind in
- 40:47Speaker 3: this very moment?
- 40:50Speaker 1: Anxiety? Do you want to elaborate on I have every time,
- 40:55Speaker 1: and this is so I don't know why I keep
- 40:57Speaker 1: doing it to myself because I love being on television.
- 41:01Speaker 1: It's a high that I can't explain. But every time
- 41:04Speaker 1: I do, like anytime a show comes out like that
- 41:09Speaker 1: I'm on, whether it's an interview, I have the most
- 41:13Speaker 1: anxiety because I feel like maybe I shared too much,
- 41:17Speaker 1: or I just feel very exposed. And it's like, well, yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 1: because you are you like signed up to show your
- 41:22Speaker 1: real life. I get that. I'm not blind to that,
- 41:27Speaker 1: but it's like a very strange feeling. Sometimes after the
- 41:30Speaker 1: episode airs or I know that a new episode is
- 41:33Speaker 1: coming out, I want to crawl into a hole and
- 41:35Speaker 1: I want to just like stay there and be left alone.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know that makes sense, that makes sense.
- 41:42Speaker 3: I think this would help some people. Is there anything
- 41:45Speaker 3: that you do or have done lately cough cough the
- 41:49Speaker 3: sage where it maybe helps you relax or get rid
- 41:53Speaker 3: of some anxiety. Yes.
- 41:55Speaker 1: So I started doing this new thing that you actually
- 41:59Speaker 1: showed me how to do. We do the saging. You know,
- 42:03Speaker 1: after watch What Happens Live, I had a lot of anxiety.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I feel like I overshared. I get very nervous about
- 42:08Speaker 1: doing all of that type of stuff. I saged myself.
- 42:11Speaker 1: I say, saged my environment. And then I fill up
- 42:14Speaker 1: a little thing of water and I go to the
- 42:18Speaker 1: toilet and I say all of like the negative things,
- 42:22Speaker 1: whether it's comments that have been said about me, things
- 42:24Speaker 1: that I'm feeling, and I like, shove it into that water,
- 42:26Speaker 1: all that energy, and then I release it. I put
- 42:30Speaker 1: it in the toilet and I flush and it actually works.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you dump it in the toilet, You're dumping all
- 42:36Speaker 3: of that negativity and you flush it down.
- 42:38Speaker 1: You watch go bye bye, bye bye. You are where
- 42:41Speaker 1: you belong in the fucking sewer.
- 42:43Speaker 3: In the sewer.
- 42:44Speaker 1: So good. I'm glad that that's my vibe.
- 42:47Speaker 3: I'm glad Okay, So, what is one thing that you
- 42:51Speaker 3: like about each cast member on vander Pump Rules this season?
- 42:55Speaker 1: Mmm? Okay, We'll start with my bubbas Katie. I love
- 42:59Speaker 1: her because she's a tough bitch, but when you see
- 43:02Speaker 1: a vulnerable side to her, like literally is an honor
- 43:06Speaker 1: to see. Schwartzy makes me laugh so hard. He's so chill,
- 43:10Speaker 1: He's so calm. He's just a great energy to be around. Arianna.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I love the fact that she stands up for exactly
- 43:17Speaker 1: what she believes in. She is gonna have your back
- 43:21Speaker 1: if you are like up against the wall and people
- 43:23Speaker 1: are coming for you, like you can rely on her.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Same with Tom. But and I love the fact that
- 43:27Speaker 1: they both commit to a costume like no one I've
- 43:29Speaker 1: ever seen. Yes, and Tom is like he's just so sweet.
- 43:33Speaker 1: I remember even though we all go tos, this is
- 43:36Speaker 1: you know. Things that I like about my cast and
- 43:37Speaker 1: my friends. For my one year's sobriety, I had my
- 43:41Speaker 1: birthday at Tom Tom and he made it so special,
- 43:44Speaker 1: like brought out the cake he had like Perrier on
- 43:47Speaker 1: top of perrier, Like there was more perier than I've
- 43:50Speaker 1: ever seen in my life. Very sweet. Sheena best heart
- 43:54Speaker 1: in the World Heart of Gold, her Man brock Is.
- 43:58Speaker 1: He's super fun and I like his type pants. Oh
- 44:02Speaker 1: my god. We love a tight pant, love a tight
- 44:04Speaker 1: pant and like hair like a lion. I'm all good
- 44:07Speaker 1: with that. Who else is there? Charlie Charlie Sorry, I'm
- 44:11Speaker 1: like trying. I'm better with Lis Charlie loyal as fuck.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Love her. You're gonna see things this season and we're
- 44:20Speaker 1: still getting to know each other. But she has a
- 44:22Speaker 1: very kind heart as well. Comes from a tough background
- 44:26Speaker 1: and to see where she is now, you know, it's
- 44:28Speaker 1: all about how you turn your situation around. And I
- 44:31Speaker 1: admire her for that. Who else do I have? James
- 44:34Speaker 1: and Raquel. There is no better television than James Kennedy.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Bravo give him his own show and just call it
- 44:41Speaker 1: the Montage of James Kennedy. And all you have to
- 44:43Speaker 1: do is put together clips of James. He is the best.
- 44:47Speaker 1: No one makes me laugh like James Kennedy and Raquel,
- 44:51Speaker 1: Oh my sweet little Bambie. I love her because she's forgiving.
- 44:57Speaker 1: You know I've done I've pulled some crazy shit on her,
- 45:02Speaker 1: and the fact that she like sat there like a
- 45:05Speaker 1: classy lady like her parents did something very right. By
- 45:08Speaker 1: the way, her mom's my most favorite person in the
- 45:10Speaker 1: entire world. Oh that's fine. I love her mom. But
- 45:14Speaker 1: I mean they don't they don't make them sweeter and
- 45:16Speaker 1: nicer than Raquel.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Oh great is that everyone?
- 45:19Speaker 1: Yeah? That was nice?
- 45:21Speaker 3: See look at that. Okay, we're moving on to some
- 45:25Speaker 3: TikTok questions. I'll just ask a few of these, but
- 45:29Speaker 3: there's some good ones. Good job, guys. Have you always
- 45:32Speaker 3: done your own glam for interviews?
- 45:34Speaker 2: Laala?
- 45:35Speaker 1: Yes? Really every time that I never had glam for
- 45:39Speaker 1: an interview. Wow, and partly because I was scarred from
- 45:45Speaker 1: the season four reunion. Okay, iconic. Look, it was so
- 45:50Speaker 1: bad that I like actually made it into a sweatshirt
- 45:53Speaker 1: and just wore it around. I looked horrific.
- 45:56Speaker 3: If you don't know what she's talking about, google it.
- 45:59Speaker 1: It's so bad. But it's so bad that it's great.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I learned my lesson after that. After that, I was like,
- 46:07Speaker 1: no one is touching my face.
- 46:09Speaker 3: That's great, and a point on that, you guys, Since
- 46:11Speaker 3: I'm around Lalla a lot, she literally does her own
- 46:15Speaker 3: makeup all the time, but for like big events and whatnot,
- 46:19Speaker 3: and she is a makeup artist. She's one hundred percent
- 46:22Speaker 3: of makeup artist. She's better than half the makeup artist
- 46:25Speaker 3: I've seen doing her own makeup. And it's just one
- 46:28Speaker 3: of those skills that like, it's a special creative skill
- 46:31Speaker 3: and she's got it.
- 46:32Speaker 1: That's so nice of you to say. That's probably because
- 46:35Speaker 1: I've been painting this face since I was like twelve.
- 46:37Speaker 3: You know, speaking of painting your face, here's another question.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Does anyone know what foundation Lala uses? I'm loving her
- 46:45Speaker 3: look this season, so gorgeous.
- 46:48Speaker 1: That is so nice. First of all, it's I believe
- 46:52Speaker 1: you pronounce it Catrice c at r Ice, and it's
- 46:57Speaker 1: true foundation. You literally get it on Amazon for eleven dollars.
- 47:01Speaker 3: We love Amazon.
- 47:03Speaker 1: You know I think I'm bougie.
- 47:05Speaker 3: Yes, come on you guys, lallasgie at all.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Randal is the bougie one. He is, like, I'll never
- 47:11Speaker 1: turn down a fabulous handbag. I'll never turn anything like
- 47:16Speaker 1: that down. But as far as like needing them, no,
- 47:19Speaker 1: you can catch me at like H and M filling
- 47:23Speaker 1: up the bag. Yeah, that's where it's at.
- 47:25Speaker 3: We love that. Yeah, Lala's outfits some of my most favorite.
- 47:28Speaker 3: I'm like, where did you get that? You know what
- 47:31Speaker 3: I'm not going to say because they don't sponsor her
- 47:33Speaker 3: right now, but they're inexpensive places.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Yes, thank you.
- 47:38Speaker 3: I love walk Home, but inexpensive clothes. If you want
- 47:41Speaker 3: to sponsor Laala, reach out.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Reach out, I'll take all the sponsor.
- 47:46Speaker 3: We love a good clothing sponsor.
- 47:47Speaker 1: I love a good hashtag your sponsor.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Okay, so I'll read a couple more of these. You
- 47:51Speaker 3: guys submitted so many questions, which we love. I'm sure
- 47:54Speaker 3: we'll do this again. These are so much fun. But
- 47:57Speaker 3: next question, will you be creating and recording more music
- 48:01Speaker 3: in the future?
- 48:02Speaker 1: Good one. I it's like my hobby, right, Yeah, I
- 48:06Speaker 1: love it so much since I had ocean though, I
- 48:08Speaker 1: just like I prioritize my time differently and things that
- 48:11Speaker 1: have to get done that are like paying for things,
- 48:14Speaker 1: That's what I do. And then the rest of the
- 48:16Speaker 1: time it's like I want to be with my kid.
- 48:18Speaker 1: But yes, I want to record more music with James Kennedy.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Like if I never were I shouldn't say that I
- 48:24Speaker 1: would love to work with a lot of people, but
- 48:26Speaker 1: say that he was the only person I could work
- 48:28Speaker 1: with for the rest of my life. In music. We
- 48:30Speaker 1: have the best time justs it is such a vibe.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Oh my god, we have the best time.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Do you just like go in a studio?
- 48:37Speaker 1: How does that we go into a studio? Because he's
- 48:39Speaker 1: the first time I ever sang out loud. Okay, was
- 48:43Speaker 1: with James, which.
- 48:45Speaker 3: Is insane because she sings all the time around the house.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Now she's got a great voice.
- 48:48Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's not like I like make up songs
- 48:51Speaker 1: for it. It's not like I'm like pretending to be
- 48:53Speaker 1: Whitney Houston around the house.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Wait, were you so nervous because that's a that's vulnerable if.
- 48:58Speaker 1: People only did I sing, Yes, it is vulnerable. And
- 49:01Speaker 1: not only was it in front of James Kennedy. Yeah,
- 49:03Speaker 1: cameras were on. Oh no, nope.
- 49:06Speaker 3: You couldn't catch me. You couldn't catch me doing that ever.
- 49:09Speaker 1: Ever. Yeah, thank you Tito's Vodka. Oh my god, because
- 49:13Speaker 1: I was like, I'm gonna just slam these vodkas and
- 49:15Speaker 1: then I'm not gonna know where I am or what
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'm doing.
- 49:18Speaker 3: So we can we can not guarantee, but maybe hope
- 49:23Speaker 3: for another song in the future with you and DJ
- 49:26Speaker 3: James Kennedy.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Go off.
- 49:28Speaker 3: Okay, so last question we'll read today. These were all great.
- 49:33Speaker 3: Thank you everyone. How are London and Riley as sisters
- 49:37Speaker 3: and how are they different from one another with Ocean?
- 49:40Speaker 1: Bam, What a great question to ask is we wrap
- 49:43Speaker 1: up the podcast? Okay, London and Riley are fantastic with Ocean.
- 49:49Speaker 1: And I will say at the very beginning when I
- 49:51Speaker 1: told them I was pregnant, Riley was so excited because
- 49:54Speaker 1: she was at that age. London sobbed her eyes out
- 49:59Speaker 1: and she kept asking me, you know, will I still
- 50:02Speaker 1: fit in? Can we still have girl time? She was
- 50:05Speaker 1: very consumed with now that you're having your own baby,
- 50:09Speaker 1: does that still mean? Does that mean you won't be
- 50:11Speaker 1: my stepmom anymore? So I really had to like baby
- 50:15Speaker 1: her and show her like things are gonna change, but
- 50:18Speaker 1: in a great way. And right now you're thinking of
- 50:20Speaker 1: this like thing in my stomach where when it comes out,
- 50:24Speaker 1: you're gonna see like that's your sister. So Riley immediately
- 50:28Speaker 1: wanted to hold the baby the second she came home.
- 50:30Speaker 1: London didn't hold Ocean until she was probably two months.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Oh interesting, why do you think that is?
- 50:36Speaker 1: And I didn't pressure her, Yeah, but I had told
- 50:39Speaker 1: her at that two month mark, I said, just so
- 50:42Speaker 1: you know, you're holding Ocean tonight, You're doing it. And
- 50:44Speaker 1: she got this big smile. She goes, I am but why,
- 50:47Speaker 1: But like you could tell like she was excited and
- 50:49Speaker 1: now all she wants to do is hold the baby.
- 50:51Speaker 1: But London also like in that tween stage. Yes, she
- 50:54Speaker 1: wants to kick it with her friend, she wants to
- 50:56Speaker 1: go to the mall. She wants to be on group
- 50:57Speaker 1: chats FaceTime.
- 50:58Speaker 3: Yeah you know, yeah, she's so cool, guys, She's so cool.
- 51:01Speaker 1: She's so it's so crazy because I met Riley in
- 51:05Speaker 1: London when they were three and six. So to see
- 51:09Speaker 1: them turn into like these grown people where I can
- 51:12Speaker 1: be like, can you watch Ocean while I run and
- 51:14Speaker 1: do this, not leave the house, but like while I
- 51:16Speaker 1: go downstairs make a bottle or whatever. It's crazy to me. Yeah,
- 51:21Speaker 1: there's such a cute dynamic. And you know, Ocean is
- 51:23Speaker 1: really the thing that made it a real family because
- 51:28Speaker 1: I've always felt like kind of the outsider, if that
- 51:30Speaker 1: makes sense. Yeah, No one's made me feel that way.
- 51:32Speaker 1: That's just in my own brain. Yeah, but now we
- 51:35Speaker 1: have Ocean, it's like, oh, this is like real life,
- 51:37Speaker 1: Like we have the last piece of this puzzle.
- 51:41Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, Randall with all of you women. It's amazing.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Randall's surrounded. We have all girl dogs. Yeah, people that
- 51:49Speaker 1: help us around the house, that make the household function properly,
- 51:52Speaker 1: all women.
- 51:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:54Speaker 1: He's now hiring mostly female assistants and I'm like, he
- 51:59Speaker 1: sees women get the motherfucking job done.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Yes, yay, Well that was fun. I'm gonna let Lala
- 52:05Speaker 3: take this out. I love thanks for letting me be
- 52:08Speaker 3: on this. Well, thanks for being on this of course.
