Hello, and welcome to Soul Elevation: Guiding Your Ascension to New Heights. I'm your host, Kara Goodwin. I'm really happy to be here with you today on Friday, August 28th, 2026. Today I wanna talk about how you are receiving messages from God, the divine intelligence, source, your higher self, however you wanna think about it. You're receiving communication, I guarantee it. I guarantee you are receiving communication from God Whether you realize it or not. And so often it's easy for it to go unnoticed. And before we jump into that, I wanna talk about this
• 1:00
word God, because this is a really sticky word and people dance around this word. I have... I do and have danced around this word, and this is something that I was sharing with my community recently, was that, you know, I may say source or I may say the universe or infinite intelligence, divine intelligence, the all that is, and what I mean by that is God. But a lot of people who are wanting to deepen their spiritual understanding, they may have gone through a religious... They may have come up through a religious background, and they may have had some trauma that, um, that has tr- that turned them off of things that they see as being God. And... Or they
• 2:00
may just, uh, people may not... They may be not resonating with religious teachings, and when they hear God, they think that this is becoming religious. Um, religion does not have a ca- a... What's the word I'm looking for? They don't hold the market on God. You can... You have access to God. You can connect with God. You are connected with God. You can't help but be connected with God. That is aside from religion. Religion, those are organizations that are there to hopefully connect you deeper with God Some people believe that they need religion to be that intermediary for them so that they have access to God. But we as a species are evolving out of that understanding. We're, we're understanding that we don't need an intermediary.
• 3:00
That's a really important part of spiritual development and not everybody will get there in this lifetime, and that's okay. We're not here to walk anybody else's journey. But because that word God can be so sticky, I want to address that. And I want ... I encourage you to get comfortable with it, to be comfortable connecting with God. It doesn't mean that there is a one, you know, old man in the sky. I used to think that when I was little. I literally thought it was an old man with a long beard that sat in the sky, and there was this, uh ... There was a lovingness about it, but there was also, you know, I had to be on my best behavior. I don't see God in that way. I don't see God as a person. I see God as an energy and as an intelligence, and that it permeates everything, um, and that it created everything. You can think of it as the creator as well. So anyway,
• 4:00
however you resonate with the intelligence of the universe, that energy, that intelligence, that being, again, however you're, whatever you're comfortable with, is communicating with you And it may be easy to miss the communication. And there was a conversation that I had this week that really highlighted this. Here's a little, um, a little sneak peek into my world. A lot of these conversations, a lot of these live streams that I do, they are inspired by conversations that I've had that are, like, you know, really powerful for, uh, for me or for, for the other person or both. Um, so this is based off of a conversation that I was having with somebody, and I wanted to... I reached out to this person because I could see this... They had created something,
• 5:00
and I knew from my involvement in their creation, this was like a creative, you know, project, and I'd been involved with it, and I could see this, um, divine thread that went through it that I thought that they probably didn't realize had happened. There were a lot of, like, synchronicities. There were a lot of themes that were built one on top of the other, and I was like, "I don't... That doesn't feel like that, um, person who was the organizer for this intended for that to happen, and I hope that they see that this happened." So I, I met with them, and I was like, "I just wanted to point out, you know, these divine... Th- this, this tapestry that was created and the divinity that was flowing through it." And so I shared my observations, and they were like, "Oh my God, thank you so much
• 6:00
for sharing that. That really makes a lot of sense. I had not been able to see that." And why I'm sharing this is because they then were like, "You know, I-" I have been wanting to increase my intuition and increase my connection beyond my five senses. I want to be in communion with the mystery. I want to feel that, and I want to... I want that as part of my life. I wanna feel that magic. And I've been meditating, like I took, bro- put a, uh, what's the word I'm looking for? I took up a meditation practice. I'm trying to be intentional. I'm dedicating time, and I'm asking for this divinity to flow into my life, and I haven't really felt like it has. And so what I was sharing is, like, it
• 7:00
is. And that's the proof. Like, that is self-evident. What I just shared about this whole thing that happened that was much bigger than what this human person had put into it, but there were all these divine, beautiful... It was like this beautiful design that was accidental, but when you step back and you're like, "The- these things are, like, masterful." You know, if there was a great big architect who had intentionally put this together, which would be a creator, it was a brilliant design. And for a human mind, and this was just one person putting this all together, I think they said they had one helper, but it would be really difficult for one human mind, um, especially somebody who was just starting, 'cause this was kind of the first project like
• 8:00
this for them, to take into consideration all of the data points and, and massage them and put them together in the, the way that just happened, with the way that this, that, that it happened. And that is divinity. You know, that is synchronicity. That is patterns and, and a beautiful, deliberate design flowing in. And another thing that came out with this conversation is that this person shared that they had this special connection since they were little with, um, with... Wait, actually What I want... No, l- I'm not gonna go to that part of the conversation, at least not yet. But they were
• 9:00
wanting this connection to flow through, but they didn't know what to look for maybe is the right way to say it. So what I was sharing with them is that a lot of times we... I mean, how many of us want to strengthen this connection? We want to have miracles. We want to have mystery. We want that divinity to show up in our lives. And We maybe think that it's gonna show up like a lightning bolt. Like, if, if God is hearing me, if my prayers are getting answered, if, if I have a divine team on the other side, then it's going to be as obvious as a lightning bolt. And so we think that, and we might hear stories from other people where there's this really grand, really obvious,
• 10:00
really tangible way that they experience it. I'm interviewing a, a man on Monday named Michael Andre Ford, and he's got all these pictures of angels, and they're like orbs, but you can zoom in and you can see these faces. And, um, how many of us want that? Like, we wanna capture it physically somehow. We want to be able to prove it and for it to be, like, so obvious. And it's subtle. It's more likely that it's gonna be subtle. Even with the way that Michael Andre Ford receives it, you know, somebody's gotta be tuned in intuitively enough to point the camera and take the picture, and then look for what they knew was there but was not... Uh, I think that he was not able to see them, like, necessarily with his physical eyes, or not
• 11:00
everybody could see them with their physical eyes. So we need to be able to understand the language. That's the point. If you speak English and you wanna talk to somebody who is J- is speaking Japanese, and they've got something that they really wanna share with you, and y- you think that the only way that you're going to be able to receive that message is if they say it in English, you're gonna have a problem there if they don't speak English. You're gonna need a translator, or you're gonna need to learn Japanese, or you're gonna need to be able to find some common way beyond the spoken language that you can communicate, like drawing pictures or, or doing charades, you know, and, and using your, your body language to be able to convey what you're trying to say. And so it is with God. So it is with
• 12:00
divine intelligence that it's not always going to be that you hear the message in your clairvoyance. You know, that... Or, sorry, in your clairaudience, that you hear a disembodied voice that's encouraging you or saying yes or no You may want to, uh, see something. You close your eyes and you take up a meditation practice, and you think that God's gonna communicate through your inner sight, but you're not seeing anything. Or you want there to be some stranger that comes up to you and mysteriously says, "I don't know why I'm supposed to tell you this, but I really feel like I need to tell you that you need to take that job," or whatever it might be. If those things happen, that's beautiful, that's amazing, but that's not always how it happens. And I would argue that even for the people that that does happen for, that there are
• 13:00
other levels of communication also happening. These people are also experiencing synchronicities. They're also experiencing other ways that the universe is coming together to communicate. A lot of times, like I said, I've brought up this word a couple of times, synchronicity, and that, to me, the way that I think about synchronicity is a little bigger than how we normally talk about it. Because a lot of times we think about synchronicity in terms of like, oh, I was just watching a show about this thing, and then I was talking to my mom and she just started talking about this topic we've never talked about before, and it directly relates to this show that I was watching. But she hadn't watched the show. You know, that type of stuff. That is a synchronicity. But the way that I see it, it's these repeating patterns that show up, and that would be an example of a repeating pattern. But like I say with this
• 14:00
creation that this person had put together, one way to think about that was synchronicities, but there were just all of these ways that it was, it was a pattern. It was a, um, it was a beautiful flow that the whole project was in, where unintentionally one seemingly unrelated thing connected back very organically to another thing that on the surface was unrelated. But it just very organically floated up, these similarities floated up very organically. And So this is a way that the universe is speaking. There is this flow, and you can be
• 15:00
in that flow. You are that flow, really. You are an expression of that flow. And so the more that you are connecting, that will be reflected back to you where you will get these, these, uh, indications of how you are in flow. And so how can you strengthen this for yourself? One of the things that I mentioned before is that the person I was talking to was like, "Well, I took up a meditation practice because I wanted to deepen my connection. I wanted to get more communication from... I wanted to strengthen my intuition," was basically what they were saying. And that takes us to meditation. You know I'm gonna often bring things back to meditation because it's been so instrumental in my journey. But even if you don't consider it classic meditation,
• 16:00
but you're just giving yourself space in the day, you're giving yourself time to just breathe, to just let the junk and the, the chaos, the noise, the clutter to fall away, and you just let yourself be for even if it's just a few moments. The more that you do it and the more that you, uh, the more space you give, the more time that you give, the more often, the more opportunity, the better. You're gonna get more from it the more you put into it. But if your life just seems too chaotic or you don't have the confidence that you think that you can meditate, use nature. Prioritize getting yourself out in nature, going for a walk amongst the woods, amongst, amongst the trees. Or go for a walk, but don't have an
• 17:00
audiobook going. Don't have a podcast going. Just don't be on the phone. Like, let yourself properly be in the moment. Look at the sky. Look at the birds. Look at the grass. Listen to the insects, and let yourself really be immersed. That's another way to give yourself that spaciousness. But the point is you've got to give yourself the opportunity to get quiet and to connect with yourself. Because when you connect with yourself, you will be also connecting with divine intelligence, with God, with the universe. If you are never getting yourself quiet enough that you can even That you can even still your energy, because everything is energetic. So the more noise, energetic noise that's in your field,
• 18:00
the harder it's gonna be for you to perceive when those intuitive hits are coming. So it does require you to make the choice to prioritize giving yourself some stillness, giving yourself some opportunity to connect deeper with yourself through meditation, through stillness, through breathing, through nature. Creativity can help. Writing by hand on paper, handwriting, is gonna also be a way that you connect deeper with yourself. Um, drawing, all of those things will, you know, those creative endeavor- creative endeavors where you get yourself out of the digital world, that's a big thing right now. We're so immersed in the digital world. It's creating so much noise in your energy field. So get yourself out of the dis- digital world. Get yourself in the real,
• 19:00
you know, 3D, however illusionary it is. Um, but get yourself on, uh, in the analog and that will assist you also. So I will leave it with that, but thank you so much for being here.
