- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to You air on air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: All right, so Tanya raised the issue here. You were
- 0:13Speaker 2: at the grocery store. You were in line, and you're
- 0:15Speaker 2: one of those people that if you only have an
- 0:16Speaker 2: item or two items and they've got a big load,
- 0:19Speaker 2: you let them go in front of you. You're very
- 0:21Speaker 2: courteous like that.
- 0:22Speaker 3: I always do that.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Now, what happened in the opposite fashion recently?
- 0:27Speaker 3: I did my big shop and I forgot one thing,
- 0:30Speaker 3: so I put all my stuff in my car. I
- 0:31Speaker 3: went back to grab my immunity community pills and go
- 0:37Speaker 3: back in line, and I'm behind this person that has
- 0:40Speaker 3: a whole cart full of stuff, and I'm like looking
- 0:43Speaker 3: at them, waiting for them to be like, yeah, yeah,
- 0:47Speaker 3: like you can go ahead. You just have one thing
- 0:49Speaker 3: and I have five hundred in this basket. And they
- 0:52Speaker 3: did not. They sat there, rang up all their stuff,
- 0:55Speaker 3: and I sat there with my one little item.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Here's the thing. I'm I wish you on that too,
- 1:01Speaker 2: because I would be initially I'd be a little curious,
- 1:05Speaker 2: what's wrong? Like, what where do you have to be?
- 1:08Speaker 2: What is it that you can't see that I have
- 1:11Speaker 2: one little immunity package with me in my hand, and
- 1:15Speaker 2: you have got You've got an entire week's worth of
- 1:18Speaker 2: things for twenty five people. But just remember, people many
- 1:23Speaker 2: times are just thinking they're in their bubble. They're not like, oh,
- 1:26Speaker 2: that's Tanya. I want to make sure that she stays longer.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It's like it's not directed to you personally. People are
- 1:32Speaker 2: in their bubbles. They're trying to get their things done.
- 1:34Speaker 3: That's the problem. We have to get out of our
- 1:36Speaker 3: bubbles and look at it.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I don't want to fault that on the surface. I
- 1:42Speaker 2: agree with you, let you go, but honestly, people got
- 1:45Speaker 2: enough going on. They worried about you.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yes, I can made the eye contact several times. I
- 1:51Speaker 3: didn't want to be like, can I go in front
- 1:53Speaker 3: of you? And you didn't ask? Nouse, I offered, you
- 1:56Speaker 3: can't assume.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Sorry, your awkward eye contact would have made me want
- 2:00Speaker 2: to get out back.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't do that with stranger. If you don't ask,
- 2:04Speaker 3: you don't get I do.
- 2:06Speaker 1: If you don't ask, you don't get.
- 2:08Speaker 2: People are in their bubble they need to get it done,
- 2:11Speaker 2: and if you don't ask for it, you're not going
- 2:12Speaker 2: to get it. And you got to move on. However,
- 2:14Speaker 2: I am the you and that generally, and I do wonder, hm,
- 2:18Speaker 2: where did they have to be?
- 2:20Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 2:20Speaker 2: Right, this is to lose no sleep issue. So MICHAELA,
- 2:24Speaker 2: what is the issue about? You found out that guys
- 2:28Speaker 2: put information about their partners or they're the girls that
- 2:31Speaker 2: they're dating in their notes app.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Yeah, and this happened to my friend. So she told
- 2:36Speaker 4: me that this guy she's been on a couple of
- 2:38Speaker 4: dates with takes notes during the date during the day.
- 2:41Speaker 4: So he was like, when's your birthday? And she told him, oh,
- 2:44Speaker 4: it's next month. And he was like, oh, that's good
- 2:45Speaker 4: to know. And he takes out his phone and he's.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Like, oh, crche and let me give him some guidance.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. I mean, all of you
- 2:52Speaker 2: guys in a secret Yes, we all put notes when
- 2:56Speaker 2: we meet you in our notes app.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Now in front of her, right exactly.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's the key. You gotta like, remember it the best
- 3:04Speaker 2: time to do this stuff, Honestly, anybody is over the
- 3:07Speaker 2: phone when you're talking, ask all those questions and then
- 3:10Speaker 2: put them in your notes. Then let weeks go by,
- 3:13Speaker 2: then bring those up.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Favorite dessert your journalist, right, He's right, I'm telling you
- 3:22Speaker 5: every dude.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I know that dates when they meet a girl puts
- 3:27Speaker 2: the notes down. Yours truly does it.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It's you. I feel like it's in your nature to
- 3:33Speaker 1: take notes when you talk to somebody.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Let's see what I am.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Literally what you do here on the show. So you're
- 3:38Speaker 1: just on the phone with her, and I.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Think it's very sweet that you do that. I think
- 3:42Speaker 3: it shows thought intention callback.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Although I'd be very embarrassed if you read or if
- 3:48Speaker 2: you like called me out on it. I don't even't
- 3:50Speaker 2: think I remember.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Yes, that's the thing.
- 3:52Speaker 6: I think it's more thoughtful if you don't have to
- 3:53Speaker 6: take the notes and you actually just remember.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest, I can't remember, so I gotta
- 3:58Speaker 2: write it down.
- 4:00Speaker 1: If you love or like the person, you remember.
- 4:04Speaker 2: No, I loved a lot of people that took notes
- 4:06Speaker 2: on I.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Never took any notes on my.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Everybody takes notes. Just don't do it in front of them,
- 4:16Speaker 2: do so? You spend time with your mom and dad saysing,
- 4:18Speaker 2: do you drop any bombs from that you curse in
- 4:20Speaker 2: front of them? I don't.
- 4:20Speaker 1: I don't. I feel uncomfortable doing it.
- 4:25Speaker 2: You know, with my mom over literally just here, I've
- 4:28Speaker 2: caught myself a couple of times, you know, because I
- 4:31Speaker 2: don't I do it. I don't do it here, but
- 4:33Speaker 2: I can do it adds to the story sometimes to yeah, yeah,
- 4:37Speaker 2: adds to the shock and drama sometimes, but I and
- 4:41Speaker 2: I tread lightly with her to see how it's going
- 4:43Speaker 2: to go. It's I can tell it's still not going
- 4:44Speaker 2: to go. Well, she doesn't really want to hear about
- 4:46Speaker 2: it now, Jordan, you live with your parents, Yes, I do,
- 4:50Speaker 2: so this must be more challenging because I did live
- 4:54Speaker 2: with my mom over the weekend, but she will depart today.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Do you curse in front of your parents with you
- 5:00Speaker 2: to live with them?
- 5:00Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 5:02Speaker 7: I really try my best to just keep it professional.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And what would happen if you did in front of
- 5:07Speaker 2: your parents that you live with.
- 5:08Speaker 7: Well, it just happened recently over the phone, and it
- 5:13Speaker 7: wasn't the greatest reaction.
- 5:16Speaker 8: Mm hm.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And what are we talking? Give me some context of
- 5:19Speaker 2: what it was about.
- 5:20Speaker 7: We Well, I call my mom a lot. I call
- 5:23Speaker 7: her multiple times a day just to like chat with her.
- 5:26Speaker 7: And there is just one situation where I was just
- 5:29Speaker 7: ranting and I think I got too comfortable. So in
- 5:32Speaker 7: the middle of my sentence. I just dropped the hardest
- 5:35Speaker 7: f ball.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but here's the good news. You should feel great.
- 5:39Speaker 2: You have such a tight relationship that you could do
- 5:42Speaker 2: that with her. I mean, that's the spin you got
- 5:44Speaker 2: to say to her. Yeah, I'm giving you the I'm
- 5:46Speaker 2: giving you the line to give to her for you
- 5:48Speaker 2: on your on your behalf, for you back to her. Hey, mom,
- 5:51Speaker 2: I know I shouldn't have said that, but you understand, Like,
- 5:52Speaker 2: I just feel like I can tell you anything. Just
- 5:54Speaker 2: that right there.
- 5:55Speaker 1: That's true. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I like that.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I like that to tell you anything. Oh you jant
- 6:00Speaker 2: me to call her and have her hear this from
- 6:02Speaker 2: you right now?
- 6:02Speaker 7: You know, if it would just keep the heat off me.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Well, somehow the heat's going to find you while you're
- 6:09Speaker 2: living with your parents no matter what. I really cannot
- 6:11Speaker 2: guide me. I yeah, just spin it about tightness. Sometimes
- 6:16Speaker 2: life is about the spin with the parents. Got to
- 6:18Speaker 2: spin it into the closeness. If you've lost your phone,
- 6:22Speaker 2: and when you do lose your phone, it is very stressful.
- 6:25Speaker 2: So keep this in mind. These are the three places
- 6:28Speaker 2: people lose their phone the most. Make sure you're extra
- 6:30Speaker 2: aware of your phone when you're at a bar, when
- 6:33Speaker 2: you're at the gym or in a ride chair. I
- 6:37Speaker 2: have left my phone and a backpack in a ride
- 6:40Speaker 2: chair before.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I can't find the back it's such a bum.
- 6:44Speaker 2: That's my backpack. And I got on the eight hundred app,
- 6:48Speaker 2: right on the app, and I went deep into the
- 6:51Speaker 2: lost and found and nothing still as soon as my backpack.
- 6:54Speaker 2: And it's full of things like personal things. I had
- 6:57Speaker 2: journals in there. I had yellow legal pads there, I
- 7:00Speaker 2: had hard back general there and there well, there were
- 7:03Speaker 2: things I wrote down about my life. It's a blessing.
- 7:06Speaker 3: It's a blessing in disguise because you're more of a
- 7:08Speaker 3: mersed guy anyway.
- 7:10Speaker 2: No, but someone has my backpack with my.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Things I got a long time ago. He's still talking
- 7:15Speaker 1: about it three years.
- 7:17Speaker 2: But it's gonna my surface, all right. Today's quote. Job
- 7:22Speaker 2: titles are temporary. Purpose is infinite.
- 7:26Speaker 1: That's right.
- 7:27Speaker 2: So think about what you're called, but what you do
- 7:31Speaker 2: when you do it, give it purpose.
- 7:33Speaker 9: Kiss City and counting.
- 8:17Speaker 10: Let me talk up everybody to the wild wild West.
- 8:19Speaker 11: A state that's a toucha bowl.
- 8:21Speaker 10: I can lead your next to tracked shair drawing like
- 8:23Speaker 10: a sun to your chests, like a best for your
- 8:25Speaker 10: chimney in the city your sex were in that sunshine.
- 8:28Speaker 12: Steak for the bomb street the safe.
- 8:30Speaker 13: Way, You'll never find a dance Poe.
- 8:32Speaker 10: Empty and kills me on the mission pole. The friends
- 8:35Speaker 10: clean mean money making machine serving.
- 8:37Speaker 11: Dream upon in the game, but tends making back to
- 8:41Speaker 11: every since hundreds was wearing sassoom, now was stinty flip
- 8:44Speaker 11: and they crossed me and watched me down and shine
- 8:46Speaker 11: looking like a rob lit barachi. It's saw good from
- 8:49Speaker 11: Diego to the pay your.
- 8:50Speaker 10: City, gainst the bomb in your city, making payroll on
- 8:54Speaker 10: the finger and feel the same way track in the
- 8:56Speaker 10: town of California years.
- 9:08Speaker 14: That's rights count game.
- 9:26Speaker 1: The game look straight comes just sit and shake.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Shaken.
- 9:39Speaker 14: Jelly shame shaken, shame shake and cha shake and something shaming.
- 9:49Speaker 12: Out of the rail puts out a jail California three
- 9:52Speaker 12: minutes soon as a tampon a scene amm And who's
- 9:54Speaker 12: screaming is feeding for money and alcohol the like before
- 9:57Speaker 12: playing with Jo.
- 9:59Speaker 2: It's on boar only your Kelly.
- 10:01Speaker 14: Will we buy it?
- 10:01Speaker 8: Not really?
- 10:02Speaker 14: So they've been top and now let me wear it.
- 10:03Speaker 14: Chuck's not Valley there.
- 10:04Speaker 2: That's why the locks and cats and.
- 10:07Speaker 14: Bide that's what we do.
- 10:08Speaker 12: Plusses would have cousing. We can libe with other fruit
- 10:10Speaker 12: fas because we clow.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Brands world wide.
- 10:13Speaker 12: Let them recognize the long beats of root brands from
- 10:15Speaker 12: being in grinding like the flow tam It's wet. PLoP said,
- 10:18Speaker 12: you don't know what will buntare not?
- 10:20Speaker 14: No man?
- 10:20Speaker 12: Say what you say will give me that bol beef
- 10:23Speaker 12: from great Let me tell her name. The streaks, the
- 10:24Speaker 12: balat oh Quinn, the sack tawny.
- 10:27Speaker 14: Every of them back down.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Kelly is wearing butt. They mackdamn?
- 10:31Speaker 8: Can you.
- 10:43Speaker 11: Ship the.
- 10:51Speaker 2: That's right.
- 10:54Speaker 14: Content? Up beat rock game, make a shake, shake.
- 11:28Speaker 2: A two point seven kiss? Fm uh. Midterms, Sophia, what
- 11:32Speaker 2: are you taking mid terms on?
- 11:34Speaker 8: What?
- 11:34Speaker 2: I was gonna say, what topics? But what subjects?
- 11:36Speaker 1: What topics?
- 11:39Speaker 2: And the thing in the frame of which we talk
- 11:41Speaker 2: what subjects?
- 11:42Speaker 13: So my classes are also a little crazy this quarter.
- 11:45Speaker 13: I'm taking Native American Women France and Asia and literature
- 11:49Speaker 13: and arts and just a cute film class.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Okay, now if you have midterms right now? So I
- 11:54Speaker 2: remember when I was growing up, the best technique would
- 11:59Speaker 2: be to borrow someone information that didn't always happen, or
- 12:03Speaker 2: go over well with the professor, So cheating, that's there.
- 12:08Speaker 2: There was somebody sound in front of me because we
- 12:10Speaker 2: were alphabetically ordered. Who in high school would slide her
- 12:13Speaker 2: paper to the right right at the right time for
- 12:15Speaker 2: me to quickly grab some letters every once.
- 12:17Speaker 8: In a while.
- 12:19Speaker 6: So I don't suggest that because because that would be cheating, right,
- 12:25Speaker 6: it's borrowing, sporrowing.
- 12:28Speaker 2: What are your two techniques for memorizing things?
- 12:31Speaker 13: So the first technique is called the fine men technique.
- 12:34Speaker 13: And I'm actually really excited to try this one because
- 12:36Speaker 13: you basically orally or write it down, but you explain
- 12:40Speaker 13: the topic as if you're explaining it to a little kid,
- 12:44Speaker 13: So you like really simplify it and break it down
- 12:46Speaker 13: so that even like a fourth grader could understand it.
- 12:49Speaker 2: But do you have to do the simplifying or does
- 12:50Speaker 2: someone help you simplify it?
- 12:52Speaker 13: So you like read and review the material and then
- 12:55Speaker 13: you simplify it to the best of your abilities, and
- 12:57Speaker 13: then if you get stuck and don't know how to
- 12:59Speaker 13: simplify it, you just go back review more and then
- 13:02Speaker 13: do it all.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Can you just put this stuff into chat gypt because gosh,
- 13:05Speaker 1: if I.
- 13:05Speaker 13: Had that during simplify this lesson, but then you don't
- 13:10Speaker 13: like understand and retain the information as well.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes your tention isn't the goal, it's just getting
- 13:16Speaker 2: through it.
- 13:19Speaker 14: Is the goal.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Sometimes I'm not sure. What's the second study technique for
- 13:26Speaker 2: people taking mid terms right now?
- 13:27Speaker 13: The second one is called blurting, and this is when you.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Blurt out the facts.
- 13:35Speaker 13: This is when you read a chapter in your book
- 13:37Speaker 13: or read the notes, whatever you got to do, and
- 13:39Speaker 13: you write it down on a blank piece of paper.
- 13:42Speaker 13: It can't be lined, it can't be anything like a
- 13:43Speaker 13: blank piece of paper, and you write it down as
- 13:46Speaker 13: much as you can go, and then you compare it
- 13:49Speaker 13: to the original notes.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Wow, what's the first one technique for me?
- 13:58Speaker 13: I do too, but I feel like they're both for memorization.
- 14:01Speaker 13: So that's honestly what I need right now.
- 14:04Speaker 2: So we'll see how What about writing stuff down? Like
- 14:06Speaker 2: just writing things down and picturing what I wrote down
- 14:08Speaker 2: helps too?
- 14:09Speaker 13: Yeah, Like I like the diagrams, and yes, call that
- 14:14Speaker 13: the secret method.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Good luck, Thank you, We're back with five hundred dollars
- 14:21Speaker 2: and back to school cash in this thing Turn it.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Out on air with Ryan Seacrest Kids FM.
- 14:28Speaker 2: We can eradicate food.
- 14:31Speaker 15: Ti inside.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I look up a.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Plain by I'm not in tonight.
- 14:40Speaker 1: What is the next one into you?
- 14:44Speaker 8: It's insane right.
- 14:47Speaker 5: By?
- 14:47Speaker 15: Wait your dad side next to you, day side, we'll
- 14:54Speaker 15: see tonight.
- 14:57Speaker 8: Get and see it.
- 15:07Speaker 14: You can be my bed.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:16Speaker 15: You'll take my control. Never been out proper before. But
- 15:20Speaker 15: I'm not going to your tone soon says you say,
- 15:26Speaker 15: what treat be this way? A boy's not here the second.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I'm sorry, but.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to be like you're.
- 15:35Speaker 16: Talking to you.
- 15:39Speaker 4: My bed.
- 15:42Speaker 10: You can be my bed.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Give me, I'm come to that.
- 15:53Speaker 14: Really, give me my men.
- 15:57Speaker 15: Taken from my bed, dress up agains with me and
- 16:03Speaker 15: very gedingo.
- 16:05Speaker 17: What you can't be here with me?
- 16:08Speaker 7: Every stock on and my feeling is on the plane
- 16:12Speaker 7: words fade away to stay he happened.
- 16:16Speaker 15: So to say, it's like the must be just going
- 16:19Speaker 15: over faces time from fending up, making ahead like boats.
- 16:24Speaker 1: That's my ego, boats to schedule and menes for men.
- 16:29Speaker 14: I member like ben ha ha.
- 16:32Speaker 17: Has like you're talking to your chicks to.
- 17:14Speaker 5: My country.
- 17:17Speaker 15: Now I'm knocking sasday have a Metisa, yesday.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Are both here to say.
- 17:26Speaker 2: One of two point seven kiss Mikayla, go ahead, what's
- 17:31Speaker 2: they shoot back?
- 17:32Speaker 8: There?
- 17:33Speaker 4: So my girlfriend asked me to set her up with
- 17:36Speaker 4: one of my best guy friends and.
- 17:40Speaker 1: He's not into her.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Sow Okay, so you know both of them, yes, and
- 17:45Speaker 2: you know that he doesn't like her, your girlfriend, and
- 17:50Speaker 2: you have this information, but she wants you to set
- 17:54Speaker 2: them up.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Yes, and she's like, hey, like you should set us up?
- 17:58Speaker 4: Like we are you gonna set us up? But I'm like, hey,
- 18:00Speaker 4: not into her? But I don't know how to tell
- 18:02Speaker 4: her that.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Well what how would he react if you go to
- 18:06Speaker 2: him to try and set him up with her? Well?
- 18:07Speaker 4: I did kind of mention it, and he was like,
- 18:10Speaker 4: he was like, nah, not why is he not into it?
- 18:14Speaker 4: He says that he has this thing where he doesn't
- 18:16Speaker 4: like to date my friends, like he doesn't want to
- 18:18Speaker 4: he's with you.
- 18:20Speaker 6: No, yeah, Tanya, Actually I think so ye wait is
- 18:27Speaker 6: this the hot guy that you're friends with?
- 18:30Speaker 1: This is the hot guy?
- 18:31Speaker 12: Right?
- 18:31Speaker 1: And you're like I can't date him because he's too hot?
- 18:34Speaker 2: Like I don't know, that's not it.
- 18:35Speaker 4: We're just really good friends and he oh, but maybe.
- 18:39Speaker 2: It's not about those two. Maybe it's you not wheting
- 18:41Speaker 2: a hook guy up with your girlfriend.
- 18:43Speaker 3: I lean down, took them up.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Okay, so here's we can try a different angle.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Here is he dating?
- 18:52Speaker 11: Like?
- 18:53Speaker 1: You know, if he's actively dating other girls? He is,
- 18:55Speaker 1: then maybe that's you're out.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:57Speaker 1: I think he's kind of seen a girl or maybe
- 19:00Speaker 1: multiple women, who knows. I don't think it's the right time.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Can I just come up with a concept here? Sure?
- 19:07Speaker 2: If she's so hot and he's such a good friend, yea,
- 19:10Speaker 2: why aren't you dating?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Trust me? We have been telling her this for years
- 19:14Speaker 1: because it's just I can't think of him like that.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Can you not think of someone so hot that? Literally
- 19:24Speaker 2: that's how it works.
- 19:25Speaker 1: We're just no, he's just he's not my type.
- 19:27Speaker 2: That there you go, it's not your type.
- 19:34Speaker 1: A picture of this man, because I mean Ryan will
- 19:37Speaker 1: go for him.
- 19:37Speaker 3: At this point, I read, yes, I can pull it up.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I'm not getting involved.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You have to get involved at least visual aids so
- 19:45Speaker 1: you can just see what he looks like. It was
- 19:50Speaker 1: right there, right there, right there?
- 19:53Speaker 2: Hold can I see that?
- 19:56Speaker 8: Hold?
- 19:56Speaker 3: It's still I'm caring?
- 19:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah? Where is he in a castle in Scotland?
- 20:04Speaker 7: Really?
- 20:06Speaker 2: University studios? Hollywood tickets are.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Next on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 20:12Speaker 13: At them.
- 20:16Speaker 2: One or two point seven, kiss at them. It's time
- 20:20Speaker 2: for Ryan's roses. Dear Ryan, Sisney and Tanya. My husband
- 20:24Speaker 2: was spending too much time with a coworker and her
- 20:26Speaker 2: husband and found out and then called me, Okay, I
- 20:29Speaker 2: don't need to know too much more than that sounds
- 20:32Speaker 2: pretty bad. Selena is on the phone in north Ridge.
- 20:35Speaker 2: So the four of you, after you got this information,
- 20:37Speaker 2: all of y'all got together, and the other woman made
- 20:40Speaker 2: it very clear that it was over, but she did
- 20:43Speaker 2: love your husband. Wait what happened?
- 20:45Speaker 16: Yeah, basically, you know, they said that it was over,
- 20:49Speaker 16: but you know she noticed them getting too close.
- 20:52Speaker 2: But you say over, meaning did they have an affair?
- 20:56Speaker 16: Well, they had something. I mean there was you know,
- 21:00Speaker 16: pictures and photos and texts between them.
- 21:04Speaker 2: So you know that your husband had something going on,
- 21:08Speaker 2: and her husband knows that something went on. And what
- 21:13Speaker 2: are we supposed to do? I don't know what we're
- 21:15Speaker 2: gonna do. You already know that they've cheated.
- 21:18Speaker 16: Well at first, I honestly I didn't know. I was
- 21:21Speaker 16: you know, I have four kids and so I'm busy
- 21:25Speaker 16: doing you know, drop off, pickup, you know, lunches, all
- 21:29Speaker 16: that kind of stuff. And you know when the husband
- 21:31Speaker 16: called me at first, I was stunned, but you know,
- 21:34Speaker 16: they said it was over, but I don't know.
- 21:37Speaker 2: So you know what happened. And you're asking us to
- 21:40Speaker 2: find out if it's truly over, to see if he
- 21:42Speaker 2: sends roses to somebody. What's the coworker's name, what's her name?
- 21:47Speaker 16: Lily?
- 21:48Speaker 2: Lily? All right, I got it. You just want you
- 21:50Speaker 2: want to make sure it's over. Yeah, he's been How
- 21:54Speaker 2: is he? How has he acted ever since the four
- 21:55Speaker 2: of you got together in this situation?
- 21:58Speaker 16: I mean honestly, like he seems like he's in mourning,
- 22:02Speaker 16: like he's depressed, and I don't know if he misses
- 22:04Speaker 16: her or if you know, he was like actually going
- 22:07Speaker 16: to leave me.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Okay, hold on one second, I see. So our assignment
- 22:12Speaker 2: is to find out if he's not thinking about her
- 22:15Speaker 2: Lily anymore. Next us, you're in Ryan's roses right now.
- 22:19Speaker 2: We just met Selena, So check this out. Selena, her
- 22:23Speaker 2: husband had an affair, hooked up, did something with a coworker.
- 22:29Speaker 2: That coworker's husband also found out about it. The four
- 22:32Speaker 2: of them got together to address it. That's awkward, and
- 22:36Speaker 2: the other woman in this case, the woman that Selena's
- 22:38Speaker 2: husband was messing around with. She made it clear that
- 22:42Speaker 2: it's over, that something happened, but it's over, and Selena
- 22:45Speaker 2: wants to know is it really over?
- 22:47Speaker 11: So?
- 22:47Speaker 2: But Selena, whether it's over or not, you know that
- 22:50Speaker 2: he cheated. Do you still want to try and make
- 22:52Speaker 2: it work?
- 22:54Speaker 16: We have four kids. I can't just like call it clips.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Just so understand everything the context here, Selena. I need
- 23:00Speaker 2: you to say, Ryan, you my permission to call, and
- 23:02Speaker 2: then his name Go ahead.
- 23:05Speaker 16: Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 23:09Speaker 2: We're gonna do that right now. Her name is Lily.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Lily is the coworker he already had something with. So
- 23:15Speaker 2: who's he thinking about? For roses? Right now? Selena Lily?
- 23:20Speaker 8: Here we go. Hello. Hi?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Is this Travis?
- 23:35Speaker 2: Yes, Hi, Travis.
- 23:36Speaker 6: My name is Becky. I'm calling from the Fancy Flores.
- 23:39Speaker 6: How are you doing this morning?
- 23:41Speaker 8: Uh? Where did you say?
- 23:44Speaker 6: You call them the Fancy Flores. We're located here in
- 23:46Speaker 6: north Ridge, right off Nordoff. You know, we're like the
- 23:48Speaker 6: Vaughn's is right there in that shopping center.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, we deliver locally.
- 23:55Speaker 1: And surrounding areas.
- 23:56Speaker 6: The reason I'm calling you, Travis Is because we're offering
- 23:58Speaker 6: a free promotion. It's a free dozen red roses that
- 24:01Speaker 6: you can send to anybody that you'd like.
- 24:05Speaker 1: What I mean, they're free.
- 24:07Speaker 6: I don't need cash from you, I don't need any
- 24:09Speaker 6: billion info or anything like that. Just the name of
- 24:12Speaker 6: the person you want to send them to in a note.
- 24:15Speaker 8: Okay, great, this is weird where you saying?
- 24:19Speaker 1: Located right here off of a nordof in Northridge.
- 24:26Speaker 8: Okay, okay, we're just you know, we're trying to.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Promote our business.
- 24:29Speaker 6: We do ask if you like our arrangements, you come
- 24:31Speaker 6: back as a customer one day. But these are free,
- 24:33Speaker 6: Like I said, no cash, no sign up, no membership,
- 24:36Speaker 6: nothing like this. These are completely free. We can have
- 24:38Speaker 6: them out by lunchtime today.
- 24:42Speaker 8: Okay, yeah, hey, uh okay, yeah, why not?
- 24:46Speaker 1: Amazing? Okay? So what is their name the person you
- 24:49Speaker 1: want to send them to?
- 24:52Speaker 16: Oh?
- 24:54Speaker 8: That would be a Selena.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Okay, And what do you want to put on the card?
- 25:01Speaker 8: Oh man, that's a tough one. Just what I'm really
- 25:08Speaker 8: sorry about everything? I love you?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Oh man, Okay, I'm really sorry about everything. I love you?
- 25:16Speaker 8: Yeah? Yeah?
- 25:18Speaker 1: Is everything? Okay?
- 25:21Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, well, Travis, it's Ryan Seacrest. Your voice is
- 25:25Speaker 2: being broadcast on the radio, and we are wondering what's
- 25:31Speaker 2: happening here?
- 25:33Speaker 8: Whoa what, what's the what's what's this?
- 25:37Speaker 2: This is us calling you asking you what's how your
- 25:40Speaker 2: relationship is going with Selena?
- 25:44Speaker 8: What's Selena? It's going really? Well? Okay? Good? Well? You
- 25:52Speaker 8: know she said she would be kind of down lately.
- 25:56Speaker 2: How would she be down any reason?
- 26:00Speaker 8: I don't know. It's just it's it's just kind of
- 26:03Speaker 8: how to put in words, you know, it's it's it's
- 26:06Speaker 8: hard to talk about him, the regular stranger.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I understand. So your wife is on the line. Would
- 26:12Speaker 2: you like to discuss it with her? Selena? Go ahead?
- 26:16Speaker 16: Hi, Travis. I was just worried. I felt like something
- 26:24Speaker 16: was going on with you, like, you know, whatever was
- 26:26Speaker 16: going on with her?
- 26:30Speaker 8: Oh No, it's no, it's it's not that. It's it's
- 26:35Speaker 8: more the realization that it nearly blew up a whole
- 26:39Speaker 8: family guy and being stupid. Look, I didn't even realize
- 26:43Speaker 8: what that was until it was two page.
- 26:46Speaker 2: So Travis, it sounds like you guys have been through this,
- 26:50Speaker 2: So we're gonna let you continue and and talk. But Selena,
- 26:54Speaker 2: did you get the peace of mind that you were
- 26:56Speaker 2: looking for?
- 26:56Speaker 8: That?
- 26:56Speaker 2: I feel like he really does feel Yeah, definitely.
- 27:01Speaker 16: I feel I feel like since here and we're good. Okay,
- 27:07Speaker 16: we can probably get off the radio now.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Yeah, we should probably comprive of your baby.
- 27:13Speaker 2: We'll take care of that for you. So I think
- 27:15Speaker 2: that's mission accomplished.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Yeah, man, they got a lot of work to do.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he sounds suss.
- 27:28Speaker 2: On air with Ryan Seacrest. I was saying to Assistanty
- 27:33Speaker 2: and Tanya earlier this morning, Sophia that I slept in
- 27:35Speaker 2: a bed of macaroni and cheese last night. It was
- 27:36Speaker 2: such a good sleep. And you know, I also did
- 27:40Speaker 2: you know that sala machines can hurt your sleep? Haven't.
- 27:42Speaker 2: We talked about how soald machines are. The noise, the
- 27:45Speaker 2: white noise a lot of us think is so soothing
- 27:48Speaker 2: and so good for you, But now they're saying, if
- 27:51Speaker 2: you sleep with the white noise, it can really interupt
- 27:55Speaker 2: like this kind of a sound. Right, here's white noise.
- 27:58Speaker 1: It's like static, no not mean.
- 28:00Speaker 2: People sleeping with white noise led to a nineteen minute
- 28:04Speaker 2: decrease in rem sleep.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Thank you very much that I've been telling you guys
- 28:08Speaker 1: for years.
- 28:09Speaker 3: I shook me too.
- 28:11Speaker 2: This struck me as wait what because I even put
- 28:15Speaker 2: I put sound bowl bads on sometimes wow on YouTube.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Yeah you got it as a guy sitting there and
- 28:22Speaker 2: he's got sticks.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I get bulls.
- 28:25Speaker 16: Yeah yeah.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And I really got to know this guy. I mean,
- 28:31Speaker 2: I don't know him, but I've started to connect with him.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Every night when I go to sleep, he's there on
- 28:34Speaker 2: the bowls. But apparently that's bad. It was helping me.
- 28:38Speaker 2: But airplane noise too. You know when you go on
- 28:39Speaker 2: a plane and that just that sound. This sound here
- 28:42Speaker 2: of the airplane, Oh so good. Someone think that's soothing,
- 28:47Speaker 2: white noise soothing.
- 28:49Speaker 4: I love it.
- 28:49Speaker 1: It's bearable, but it's not soothing.
- 28:52Speaker 2: No, he interrupted big time caused it. Twenty three minute
- 28:54Speaker 2: decrease in r EMM sleep. So I think the way
- 29:01Speaker 2: I'm going to look at this is sound, bowls, chimes,
- 29:06Speaker 2: whatever it is that can calm me down to go
- 29:09Speaker 2: to sleep. But I'm gonna you gotta try and sleep
- 29:11Speaker 2: without all the noise or the sound.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Right, put a timer on it.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. This is my it's my pregame
- 29:18Speaker 2: bedtime sound right there.
- 29:21Speaker 1: This like stresses me out more.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I've introduced this concept to dates before and how's that gone. Oh,
- 29:32Speaker 2: we're not hanging out anymore? Okay, But I don't think
- 29:34Speaker 2: it was this. We all need to make new goals
- 29:40Speaker 2: for peace and harmony in our lives, Sisney, I think
- 29:43Speaker 2: this is a great new goal that you want to
- 29:45Speaker 2: cut down on the amount of apps that you have
- 29:47Speaker 2: on your phone.
- 29:48Speaker 1: The scrolling has.
- 29:49Speaker 6: Just become an issue for me recently, and so I
- 29:51Speaker 6: thought of this. And I'm sure I'm not the first
- 29:53Speaker 6: person to think of this idea, but I thought maybe
- 29:55Speaker 6: having a separate iPad at home for just that stuff
- 29:59Speaker 6: is the way to go.
- 30:00Speaker 1: And then throughout the day, I just use my phone
- 30:02Speaker 1: for my phone, like, and I don't.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Have all the apps on it, and so when I
- 30:05Speaker 6: do want to go on Instagram, it's in allotted time
- 30:08Speaker 6: that I give myself at home with my specific iPad.
- 30:12Speaker 1: For that, and then that's it.
- 30:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm with you one hundred percent. I
- 30:16Speaker 2: just was having this conversation with my mom, Okay, I said,
- 30:18Speaker 2: you know, sometimes I just want to like open up
- 30:20Speaker 2: my phone and send you a note, but every time
- 30:21Speaker 2: I our text. Every time I do, I end up
- 30:24Speaker 2: in a rabbit hole of work, text or other things.
- 30:26Speaker 2: And then I've got friends. So I don't know if
- 30:28Speaker 2: you have this with apps and friends. I've got friends.
- 30:30Speaker 2: If you say, hey, the wind's blowing west, they've got
- 30:32Speaker 2: an app to go look it up immediately. Nope, it's not.
- 30:34Speaker 2: It's blowing east. Yeah, like what are you doing? Like
- 30:37Speaker 2: they check every single thing in their life as an
- 30:40Speaker 2: app right now? They surf. They got sixteen apps to
- 30:43Speaker 2: go surfing that day, right through the winds and the
- 30:46Speaker 2: check surf. I'm like, you got there's just way too
- 30:49Speaker 2: much information, way too much data coming in. Yes, it
- 30:53Speaker 2: is causing a problem for me too, So just give
- 30:55Speaker 2: me the first two apps you would alleviate or eliminate
- 30:59Speaker 2: or decrease use.
- 31:00Speaker 8: Job.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Instagram would have to come off my phone for sure.
- 31:03Speaker 3: What if you go to the doctor's office? What about
- 31:05Speaker 3: it after work?
- 31:07Speaker 2: Yeah, to post that or something.
- 31:08Speaker 3: No, but you just sit there in the waiting room
- 31:10Speaker 3: for that's the other thing.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Maybe it's maybe, yeah, you can get a magazine or yeah,
- 31:17Speaker 6: talk to somebody.
- 31:18Speaker 1: I don't know, strike up a conversation.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Dentist at the dentist is difficult.
- 31:22Speaker 6: That's not on my phone during the dentist, I'm like
- 31:24Speaker 6: just staring at the well my dentist as a TV.
- 31:26Speaker 6: It's nice but okay, So Instagram for sure, and then.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Yeah, probably TikTok as well well, the two most scrollable apps.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Tny, what would you get rid of immediately? The two
- 31:39Speaker 2: apps you'd have to alleviate from your phone?
- 31:41Speaker 7: Uh?
- 31:43Speaker 3: I guess I would get rid of like my bank app.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Is this a torturous assignment?
- 31:47Speaker 3: Yeah? I would not want to tell off of my
- 31:49Speaker 3: phone honestly, the bank ap.
- 31:51Speaker 2: I don't know why the bank cap because I just could.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Do that at home. I don't need to be like
- 31:56Speaker 3: checking it on my phone. You know, what would you delete?
- 32:01Speaker 2: Sorry? I was just on my apps?
- 32:02Speaker 1: Yeah, what would you delete?
- 32:05Speaker 2: I don't care. You could pick any ten off my
- 32:08Speaker 2: phone take them away. I really don't care. And I
- 32:10Speaker 2: hope I give you my password later so you can
- 32:12Speaker 2: just do it for me.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I just need your face.
- 32:15Speaker 2: It's right here every day, right on the screen, all
- 32:18Speaker 2: right now, Tanya. I'd love that you were talking about
- 32:20Speaker 2: this because I am that person that does this. You know,
- 32:24Speaker 2: when you are throwing trash away in the kitchen. There
- 32:27Speaker 2: are two types of people. There are those that will
- 32:29Speaker 2: take the trash out, and then there are those that
- 32:32Speaker 2: do what I do that Robbie does and what is that? Yes?
- 32:35Speaker 3: And that is when I say, trash cans full? Do
- 32:37Speaker 3: you mind taking the trash can out? He grabs a
- 32:40Speaker 3: paper towel, stuffs it with his hand, pushes it all
- 32:44Speaker 3: the way down so there's maybe like four inches left
- 32:46Speaker 3: on the top, and he says, see, now there's more.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Space human trash compacting.
- 32:51Speaker 3: I'm like, then I end up when it does fill up,
- 32:53Speaker 3: I end up taking it out and the bag rips,
- 32:56Speaker 3: and then the trash falls on my feet and then
- 32:58Speaker 3: I had and I'm like, babe, just take it out,
- 33:01Speaker 3: and I love you. It's his birthdays. I'm not trying
- 33:03Speaker 3: to shade birthday, but it drives me nuts. Why does
- 33:08Speaker 3: he do that?
- 33:09Speaker 2: I do it too. I break down boxes to get
- 33:11Speaker 2: it flatter. I press meats, proteins, plastics, whatever is in
- 33:15Speaker 2: those two different things. I press down as far as
- 33:18Speaker 2: I can press. Barbecue sauce comes out the bottom and
- 33:21Speaker 2: I'm still pressing that. I don't know what it is.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Whatever I can do, it's like a game. Whatever I
- 33:26Speaker 2: can do to tetris more trash in there. Before I
- 33:28Speaker 2: have to carry it out.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I win, and it was Babe, why do you want
- 33:31Speaker 3: to waste so many trash bags?
- 33:33Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, he's right this much.
- 33:39Speaker 1: I'm my guys, I push it down as well.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I push that stuff down sometimes. I don't use a
- 33:44Speaker 2: paper towel good. I just take my palm and press
- 33:48Speaker 2: that stuff down in there, and it just the juice,
- 33:51Speaker 2: the juice in the bottom underneath between the trash can
- 33:54Speaker 2: and the plastic bag. I got trash juice. That is
- 33:56Speaker 2: just disgusting.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Yes, it's so gross.
- 34:00Speaker 2: If you do your roommates take the trash out. Oh god, no,
- 34:03Speaker 2: what did you say, human impact?
- 34:05Speaker 13: No, we have grocery bags that sit outside of our
- 34:08Speaker 13: full trash can that get piled up.
- 34:09Speaker 1: With college life.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that will change, but I am ade tell Robbie
- 34:16Speaker 2: happy birthday. I too pushed my trash down.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll tell him. You're on his side.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I think definitely that is going to do it for
- 34:23Speaker 2: us today. Coming up tomorrow, we'll got a second date update.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Have a great Monday, guys, take aod care. Thanks for
- 34:31Speaker 2: listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure to
- 34:34Speaker 2: subscribe and we'll talk to you again. Tomorrow,
