- 1:02Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I am here with Chris,
- 1:07Speaker 2: who stayed because we wanted to talk more and give
- 1:10Speaker 2: you guys a fresh, somewhat fresh, Thanksgiving delight.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I know I'm cooking for Thanksgiving.
- 1:19Speaker 3: You are.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Well, I'm not hosting it. It was supposed to be
- 1:22Speaker 2: at my house.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Every other year, it's either my house or Peter's cousin.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:27Speaker 2: And I... Never mind having it at my house except,
- 1:32Speaker 2: I don't know, I get a little stressed just like
- 1:34Speaker 2: getting the tables and chairs and all that and cooking
- 1:37Speaker 2: all the stuff. But they said, could you mind if
- 1:40Speaker 2: we do it again? And I'm like, no, yes, please
- 1:44Speaker 2: let me go to your house. I love not hosting it.
- 1:47Speaker 3: So you just bring stuff over.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I bring a ton of stuff. I bring like five,
- 1:51Speaker 2: six items because there's like so many of us.
- 1:53Speaker 3: You make them or you just?
- 1:54Speaker 2: No, I make them. And then, well, I do my
- 1:56Speaker 2: famous garlic mashed potatoes.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Which is this Main Street potatoes already made from Costco.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Oh, like a box?
- 2:05Speaker 2: It's in a little carton.
- 2:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:06Speaker 2: You get two of them at Costco.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Oh, wait a minute. They're already whipped.
- 2:09Speaker 2: They're already made.
- 2:11Speaker 3: It's like a powder.
- 2:11Speaker 2: So you take them out. It's like a hard brick.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Oh, gotcha.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And then I put them in a crock pot to
- 2:18Speaker 2: slowly like warm them up versus just putting in the micro.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 2:21Speaker 2: And then I add all this garlic. Oh. Extra seasonings.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You can add extra whatever. And you can do this
- 2:27Speaker 2: with any already pre-made mashed potatoes.
- 2:30Speaker 3: You'd be really.
- 2:30Speaker 2: And then you show up and you look like you
- 2:32Speaker 2: made them from scratch because they're in a crock pot
- 2:34Speaker 2: and they're all seasoned. You could add some rosemary sprigs
- 2:37Speaker 2: just to give it some flavor.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Don't like rosemary. All right.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Well, then you don't have to do that part.
- 2:41Speaker 3: That was a very good food. You'd be really good
- 2:44Speaker 3: at one of those food things on a Today Show
- 2:46Speaker 3: with showing Hoda how to make, you know, whatever. Right.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I did a little version of it. Because I've been
- 2:54Speaker 2: noticing when I watch TikTok, which you say I watch
- 2:56Speaker 2: too much of, when I watch TikTok, I get a
- 2:59Speaker 2: lot of cooking ones.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:01Speaker 2: And it's always a pan, like a glass pan.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Uh-huh.
- 3:06Speaker 2: And they're like, okay, oh, my God, this is so easy.
- 3:08Speaker 2: And they literally take, like, a chunk of cheddar cheese
- 3:10Speaker 2: and then dry pasta and then pour, like, something over it.
- 3:15Speaker 2: And it's always, like, all these things. I'm like, how
- 3:17Speaker 2: could this be?
- 3:17Speaker 3: But that's, like, the mac and cheese?
- 3:19Speaker 2: Yeah. Random. Yeah. They take it out and they– mix
- 3:23Speaker 2: it around then they put more foil on it and
- 3:25Speaker 2: put back in the oven so when I was going
- 3:27Speaker 2: to do it I did like a funny version of
- 3:29Speaker 2: it and I took my crock pot and I took
- 3:32Speaker 2: the mashed potatoes still in the plastic and the cardboard
- 3:35Speaker 2: and I go you put it right in there you
- 3:37Speaker 2: guys don't need to take the plastic off a lot
- 3:38Speaker 2: of people don't know that because you know whenever people
- 3:41Speaker 2: do that with pasta they're like oh my God, I
- 3:43Speaker 2: can't believe you don't need to cook the pasta before
- 3:46Speaker 2: if you do this weird thing. So I do that
- 3:48Speaker 2: and then I'm like, and here's the jar of garlic
- 3:51Speaker 2: and you put that right in there. And people on
- 3:55Speaker 2: TikTok were like, how can you do that? Yeah, there
- 3:59Speaker 2: were some people that didn't get that it was a joke.
- 4:02Speaker 2: And they're like, well, that was disappointing. I mean, that
- 4:04Speaker 2: is not.
- 4:05Speaker 3: That's not how you do it. No.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Like, why is she doing this?
- 4:08Speaker 3: Wow.
- 4:09Speaker 2: It's really scary sometimes.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I had read that they, for the first time ever,
- 4:13Speaker 3: whoever decides how many, the recommended daily allowance, you know,
- 4:19Speaker 3: you'll see that a lot of times.
- 4:20Speaker 2: What, calories?
- 4:21Speaker 3: The recommended daily allowance of turkey this year has been
- 4:25Speaker 3: dropped for the first time. Recommended daily amounts of turkey
- 4:28Speaker 3: has always been one and a half pounds per person.
- 4:32Speaker 2: That's a lot.
- 4:32Speaker 3: That's what I thought. I thought the same thing.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I mean, we think about a pound, like a little
- 4:37Speaker 2: pound weight.
- 4:37Speaker 3: But I guess it's not. I saw it. They cut
- 4:41Speaker 3: off like a pound and a half. And I was like, oh,
- 4:43Speaker 3: that looks like an amount you would eat, a pound
- 4:44Speaker 3: and a half of turkey. So this year it's a pound.
- 4:48Speaker 3: They're lowering it. I don't know why. But for the
- 4:50Speaker 3: first time, they're lowering it from one and a half
- 4:52Speaker 3: pounds to a pound. Recommend it. You could have more
- 4:54Speaker 3: if you choose.
- 4:55Speaker 2: What is your favorite thing to eat with the Thanksgiving?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Like what do you put on your plate?
- 5:01Speaker 3: Uh, you know, just, I do the, I like the
- 5:04Speaker 3: hodgepodge of it all.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Right. But do you like everything or is there a
- 5:07Speaker 2: Thanksgiving item that has just never turned you on and
- 5:10Speaker 2: you skip that dish?
- 5:11Speaker 3: Yeah. Like a yam or a sweet potato. It's never
- 5:13Speaker 3: turned me on.
- 5:14Speaker 2: So my mom used to make this like yam thing with, um, again,
- 5:20Speaker 2: we talked about a crocodile and an alligator.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I don't know the difference between a sweet potato and
- 5:25Speaker 2: a yam.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I don't either. And I'm going to venture to say
- 5:29Speaker 3: I don't think there is a difference, but I know
- 5:30Speaker 3: I'm going to get attacked for that. Yeah. Oh, Annie
- 5:34Speaker 3: boldly said it's not. Oh, come on, Annie.
- 5:36Speaker 2: She's from Texas, so don't fuck with her.
- 5:37Speaker 3: She knows. But yeah, I think it just might be
- 5:39Speaker 3: a different name for the same thing. Okay. Yeah, I
- 5:41Speaker 3: could be wrong.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Anyway, it was like yams in a casserole dish with
- 5:44Speaker 2: like apricots and like brown sugar.
- 5:47Speaker 3: And- Marshmallows.
- 5:49Speaker 2: No, no marshmallows, but like walnuts or whatever. Or pecans, pecans.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:54Speaker 2: And I fucking loved it. So when I first started
- 5:58Speaker 2: getting with going to the Peter, I would, I made that.
- 6:03Speaker 2: And I just remember one of the women on his
- 6:06Speaker 2: side was like, oh, nobody liked that. She told me.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Really? Yes.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Oh. And I think I made two huge things of it.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Because I was like, oh, there's going to be 30 people. Well,
- 6:18Speaker 2: there's 15 to each thing, which you don't ever need
- 6:20Speaker 2: to do that for the side. Yeah. And they're like,
- 6:23Speaker 2: The portion is not going to be a proper portion.
- 6:25Speaker 2: It's going to be like a fourth of a portion
- 6:27Speaker 2: because you're going to have so many different sides.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 2: So anyway, I stopped making it.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Yeah. Sometimes you just have your own family things.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But I did make, I might want to make this
- 6:37Speaker 2: this time.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 6:38Speaker 2: I did make the sweet potato casserole from Ruth Chris.
- 6:42Speaker 2: You can look that up.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 6:45Speaker 2: And it's like a souffle. That's what it is. It's
- 6:47Speaker 2: a souffle with like a crumble top.
- 6:51Speaker 3: What's the crumble top? Sweet?
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, I think it's like chopped up nuts
- 6:56Speaker 2: and like, you know, crumbs or whatever. And I remember
- 6:59Speaker 2: I made it once. I might want to make it again.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I might want to make it. Because you don't need
- 7:03Speaker 2: a lot of it, again, because they don't like it.
- 7:05Speaker 2: So I don't need to bring that much of it.
- 7:07Speaker 2: But I do like roasted heirloom carrots.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Those carrots taste just like orange carrots. But now you
- 7:14Speaker 2: can get them in like purple and white and yellow.
- 7:16Speaker 3: So I always do that. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fun. Yeah.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And I'll do like... Yeah, like I'll do like a
- 7:22Speaker 2: Brussels sprouts or something, like some extra vegetables.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So you're bringing like classy dishes.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Yes, I'm bringing like tons of, yes. And I'll do
- 7:29Speaker 2: a mac and cheese because my kids.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Will want that. Right.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 3: That sounds nice.
- 7:34Speaker 2: We bring a lot.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 2: And then some other family of six will just bring
- 7:37Speaker 2: like rolls. And I'm like, okay.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Now what do you do? Are you one of those
- 7:41Speaker 3: people who harasses them to get your dishes back?
- 7:45Speaker 2: No, that's why I do the crock pot because that's
- 7:47Speaker 2: very easy because you plug it in. You don't need
- 7:48Speaker 2: to heat it up.
- 7:49Speaker 3: No, but how do you get the stuff there to
- 7:51Speaker 3: the house?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Oh, it's in the dishes and we put it in
- 7:55Speaker 2: the back seat.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Of the car. Okay, but then how do you get
- 7:57Speaker 3: your dish back?
- 7:58Speaker 2: We take them all back.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Oh, with the stuff in them?
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, if there's stuff left, we just take it. They
- 8:02Speaker 2: don't want it.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 2: They're always doing something.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Fun the next day. They're not into leftover.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I do remember one year, though, we had the party.
- 8:09Speaker 2: And we had all this turkey. And I love leftovers. Which,
- 8:13Speaker 2: by the way, this younger generation of kids think it's
- 8:16Speaker 2: so weird that I take food home from restaurants and stuff.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And my sister does, too.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Really?
- 8:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I always take home leftovers.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Why do you think it's weird?
- 8:25Speaker 2: Because they're not paying for it and they're fucking spoiled brats.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Well, I don't necessarily.
- 8:29Speaker 2: They're like, oh, mom, with your weird leftover stuff. And
- 8:33Speaker 2: my sister and I are like, how can you... I
- 8:35Speaker 2: totally will eat it the next day.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Leftover pasta, definitely steak. Always.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I'm with you. Yeah, I like it. I didn't know
- 8:44Speaker 3: people were against it.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So anyway, we had a Thanksgiving and... Tons of turkey leftover,
- 8:51Speaker 2: all this stuff. Unbeknownst to me, I bring it up
- 8:53Speaker 2: every year as I am now, his brother was going
- 8:56Speaker 2: back to Vegas and Peter just took all the food
- 9:01Speaker 2: and just gave it to him and never told me.
- 9:03Speaker 2: And then the next day I had like Shannon and
- 9:06Speaker 2: her family here and I'm like, all right, let's do
- 9:08Speaker 2: that fucking yummy Friday lunch. Like so excited to like-
- 9:10Speaker 2: Like the leftover lunch. To have the stuffing, the mashed potatoes,
- 9:13Speaker 2: the turkey that is all gone.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 9:17Speaker 2: He was a single guy at the time. And I'm like,
- 9:19Speaker 2: why the fuck did you do that?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Wow.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I'm going to bring it up every year.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Yeah, you should.
- 9:23Speaker 2: So mad.
- 9:24Speaker 3: So mad. That's not cool at all. Wow.
- 9:27Speaker 2: But they'll provide the turkey, so I don't have to
- 9:29Speaker 2: make a turkey.
- 9:29Speaker 3: And then what's the day? What's the day for me?
- 9:33Speaker 3: You sit around, you hang out, you.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Chat, football.
- 9:36Speaker 3: What goes on?
- 9:37Speaker 2: Oh, so once we get there at like 2, we
- 9:39Speaker 2: drink a lot. Yeah? We drink a lot during the day.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Does that become a problem? Like anybody in the family
- 9:50Speaker 3: a problem?
- 9:52Speaker 2: No. But last couple of years we've had Drake be
- 9:54Speaker 2: able to drive. But now I think he's going to
- 9:57Speaker 2: want to have a beer or something.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Really?
- 9:59Speaker 2: And he's pretty fun when he's had a couple drinks.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I don't think you should say that about your kid.
- 10:06Speaker 3: You're licking this kid up. He's a great duck.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So.
- 10:09Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 2: No, Brandon has a permit. So we could have Brandon
- 10:14Speaker 2: drive us home.
- 10:16Speaker 3: In the dark?
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Well, he drives in the dark.
- 10:19Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 10:20Speaker 2: He's about to take his test.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah, but that doesn't mean he's practicing in the daytime.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Night driving is a lot different than day driving.
- 10:26Speaker 2: All right.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Listen, I don't want to ruin the fun, but.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you who's not driving home.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Me. No, no.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Because there have been times in the past.
- 10:40Speaker 3: When you've.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Where I've like hid the good Chardonnay for my sister
- 10:44Speaker 2: and I. Like I, when I provide, when it's been
- 10:46Speaker 2: my Thanksgiving, I have like, you know, I have good stuff,
- 10:49Speaker 2: like a La Crema, whatever, but then I would have
- 10:52Speaker 2: my Rumbauer.
- 10:53Speaker 3: So you mean you wouldn't bring it in the house?
- 10:55Speaker 3: Or you hide it like when you get to the house?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Not when I go, when I go to someone's, I
- 10:59Speaker 2: have to know that everyone's going to, I'm going to
- 11:01Speaker 2: open my good wine and now everyone's got to have some.
- 11:03Speaker 2: But when it's, but in the past, now I would
- 11:06Speaker 2: be more generous because I'm doing okay. But in the past,
- 11:10Speaker 2: you know, I'd be like, Shannon, the Rumbauer is in
- 11:13Speaker 2: the little fridge in the outside bar on the patio.
- 11:19Speaker 2: And just crunch down and pour it in your cup
- 11:22Speaker 2: and then just walk around. And then in the dish
- 11:24Speaker 2: for everyone else to get is maybe like a $ 12 bottle.
- 11:27Speaker 3: The Kendall Jackson. Yeah. Okay, got it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:33Speaker 2: So, all right, let's talk about.
- 11:35Speaker 3: That sounds fun, though. That sounds like a fun.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Well, you said you had some Thanksgiving topics. Did you
- 11:38Speaker 2: want to say anything else before we get into just
- 11:40Speaker 2: regular topics?
- 11:40Speaker 3: I mean, I have... You want to talk about the
- 11:43Speaker 3: Thanksgiving Day Parade? The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year?
- 11:46Speaker 3: Is that still happening? Is it still happening?
- 11:48Speaker 2: Well, did it not happen during COVID?
- 11:50Speaker 3: They had no people on the sides watching. Okay. Just
- 11:55Speaker 3: floats going down. Sad marching bands and floats. But this year,
- 11:59Speaker 3: they're back.
- 12:00Speaker 2: You know, people are starting to say we got to
- 12:01Speaker 2: bring back the masks.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:03Speaker 2: In L.A.? You've heard this?
- 12:05Speaker 3: I have not. You told me that. I don't know.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I think they're just seeing how people will freak out.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I'm freaking out. I don't want to do that again.
- 12:12Speaker 3: But anyway, you know, I love the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
- 12:15Speaker 3: You do? Oh, I didn't know that, sir. And so
- 12:17Speaker 3: I'm excited about it. And they got, you know, the floats.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Did you ever dream of one day being a host
- 12:21Speaker 2: of it? Well, you know, my favorite— I feel like
- 12:24Speaker 2: Ross Matthews has got to be asked to do that soon.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Is he on— it' s NBC. It's very exclusively NBC. Is Drew
- 12:32Speaker 3: on NBC?
- 12:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I don't know, but I remember.
- 12:34Speaker 3: I'm surprised he's not.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Oh, but I'm also thinking of locally, it's the Rose Parade. No, different.
- 12:39Speaker 2: It's like Channel 5.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Different. Rose Parade's New Year's Day.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Thanksgiving, Macy's Day Parade. Who is it?
- 12:46Speaker 2: Who's the host?
- 12:47Speaker 3: Look it up. Well, I'll tell you who the host
- 12:48Speaker 3: was for many years.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Who?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Matt Lauer. He was your guy on Thanksgiving. Out there
- 12:54Speaker 3: with his little fedora, doing his thing. And now it's
- 12:59Speaker 3: Savannah and Hoda.
- 13:02Speaker 2: And is the parade just big floats walking by? Or
- 13:05Speaker 2: is it actual people like blow up things? Aren't it
- 13:09Speaker 2: like blow up things?
- 13:10Speaker 3: Big balloons. 25 people got to hold them. Here comes Snoopy.
- 13:15Speaker 3: And he comes around the bend.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I always remember watching like a football game and being like,
- 13:20Speaker 2: wait a minute. What are these people going to have
- 13:22Speaker 2: for Thanksgiving? Like I always imagine like they're all at
- 13:25Speaker 2: the game wrapped up in wherever cold town they live.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 2: And then they come barreling through like drunk and hungry
- 13:31Speaker 2: and the poor woman had to make it all herself.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Is that what it's like for people that go to
- 13:36Speaker 2: the game?
- 13:36Speaker 3: That's exactly what it's like. Yeah. Yeah. The Detroit Lion
- 13:40Speaker 3: fans come storming into the house. Where's our turkey? Yeah. Oh,
- 13:45Speaker 3: that'd be awful.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Wait, so who's the host this year?
- 13:48Speaker 3: It's a Savannah and it's always Today Show people.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 13:52Speaker 3: It's the Today Show people. It's usually Carson Daly. And
- 13:56Speaker 3: there are two of them are the main hosts.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I think it's Savannah and Hoda. Okay. You know, which
- 14:01Speaker 3: is saying now potential little bit of a spat between
- 14:06Speaker 3: those two.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Oh, with Savannah and Hoda.
- 14:10Speaker 3: There's talk of it. There's talk of it. There's rumors
- 14:13Speaker 3: that rumbling that. they don't necessarily, but they've tried to
- 14:18Speaker 3: squash those rumors. Yeah. But the reason why those rumors
- 14:22Speaker 3: are abound is because Savannah, she's the head girl. You know,
- 14:27Speaker 3: something goes down, 9-11, let's say. They call Savannah when
- 14:31Speaker 3: it was like hard news.
- 14:33Speaker 2: You think Savannah's considered hard news?
- 14:35Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 14:36Speaker 2: For the Today Show.
- 14:36Speaker 3: In the Today Show world, yes.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Okay, all right, all right. God, you're passionate about it.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I am passionate about it. So something goes down, they
- 14:43Speaker 3: call Savannah. And Hoda's like, So I got to be
- 14:45Speaker 3: out here with Jenna Bush Hager drinking wine at 10 o'clock?
- 14:49Speaker 3: Why don't I do all that? I think there's a
- 14:52Speaker 3: little of that.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Juicy.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Anyway, but they both do. And then, of course, Al
- 14:57Speaker 3: Roker's out there who just had some issues with his legs. Oh, yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 3: His leg.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Why are you laughing about it?
- 15:04Speaker 3: No, what was it?
- 15:05Speaker 2: I want to say.
- 15:06Speaker 3: No, it's just like leg thrombosis or something.
- 15:10Speaker 2: He's had health issues. Remember, he was very, very heavy. Yeah.
- 15:12Speaker 2: He got gastric. He got thin.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:16Speaker 2: And now... He has blood clots in his legs.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Blood clots.
- 15:18Speaker 3: That's what a thrombosis, yeah. And he's... And thrombosis, yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 15:22Speaker 3: He's an old guy. But anyway, he runs around and
- 15:24Speaker 3: talks to all the people on the street and stuff.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So there will be people on the street this time.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 3: It's another one of those things where they also have NBC,
- 15:30Speaker 3: the people who are on shows coming up. They'll have
- 15:33Speaker 3: them like sitting in the stands.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 15:34Speaker 3: And this is the person who's going to be on
- 15:36Speaker 3: whatever stupid shows.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Coming at NBC. Well, to answer your question, no. Throughout
- 15:40Speaker 2: my years of growing up, we would not watch.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I know, I could tell.
- 15:45Speaker 2: We would watch a Twilight Zone marathon.
- 15:50Speaker 3: So that was on like a channel.
- 15:51Speaker 2: When we were like younger, while my mom cooked, my
- 15:53Speaker 2: sister and I would watch a Twilight Zone marathon. And now,
- 15:56Speaker 2: I mean, I'll just probably like listen to a podcast
- 15:58Speaker 2: or something. I'll just probably listen to this. So that's fun.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I love listening to Juicy Scoop.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I do too. Yeah, I like it. Yeah. As a
- 16:06Speaker 3: matter of fact, I.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I remember what Brandon said. What kind of monster listens
- 16:09Speaker 2: to their own podcast?
- 16:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Because I'd be like driving him to school listening to
- 16:12Speaker 2: it every Tuesday and Thursday.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Oh, that's hilarious.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Now he just accepts it that I listen to it.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I learned.
- 16:17Speaker 3: I think that... I mean, I've listened to a lot
- 16:18Speaker 3: of your Juicy Scoops, but I think the one that
- 16:21Speaker 3: hit me the hardest is you had some girl who
- 16:23Speaker 3: was like a porn star or something recently.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Oh, Maitland Ward. Yeah, that was on Boy Meets World.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Yes. And she talked about what they use as fake cum.
- 16:32Speaker 3: was Cetaphil, Cetaphil, whatever it is.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Cetaphil lotion.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Which I use all the time for my face washing.
- 16:40Speaker 3: And you can buy it in travel sizes, so I
- 16:42Speaker 3: take it when I travel.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Lotion or the cleanser? The face wash, the face wash.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Oh, okay, yeah. It looks just like, and I remember
- 16:50Speaker 3: saying- Now you can't stop. No, now every time I
- 16:53Speaker 3: wash my face in a hotel, I feel like I'm Bukkake.
- 16:56Speaker 3: You know, people know that term.
- 16:58Speaker 2: No, what's bukkake mean?
- 16:59Speaker 3: Oh, you don't know what that is? Oh, I shouldn't
- 17:00Speaker 3: even say. This is a Thanksgiving episode. You don't know
- 17:03Speaker 3: what bukkake is?
- 17:03Speaker 4: No.
- 17:04Speaker 3: All right. No, it's when....
- 17:08Speaker 2: Tell me.
- 17:09Speaker 3: It's when a lot of... You get a lot of.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Oh, you have multiples.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Multiples.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Multiples.
- 17:13Speaker 3: They call it, yeah, bukkake.
- 17:15Speaker 4: It's a whole.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Yeah. Okay.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Well, let's get into some other topics.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Sorry, everybody. Okay.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Now, this... So my sister Shannon and I, we did
- 17:25Speaker 2: Juicy Crimes on this. You guys may have missed it.
- 17:27Speaker 2: It's on Patreon if you want to listen to it.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Shannon went really deep. It's triple level Patreon because this
- 17:34Speaker 2: is Danny Masterson.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And it really didn't get a lot of press, I
- 17:39Speaker 2: don't think, because unlike Johnny Depp, it wasn't being filmed.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:44Speaker 2: And... But it's so juicy because he was a Scientologist.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And he was like second-generation Scientologist. He kind of grew
- 17:52Speaker 2: up in it. Yeah. His friends were it. And there's
- 17:54Speaker 2: three different Jane Does that have accused him of rape.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:59Speaker 2: All of whom knew him socially. One of them was
- 18:05Speaker 2: his girlfriend. And in that relationship, he did rape her.
- 18:09Speaker 2: But the other two were just friends with him. And
- 18:12Speaker 2: they said he gave them... something to drink and they
- 18:16Speaker 2: were like completely couldn't out of it. Uh, woke up
- 18:19Speaker 2: with him raping them. And then they went to the
- 18:23Speaker 2: Scientology people. Cause they always say, if anything happens, come
- 18:27Speaker 2: to us first and we'll investigate it and do disciplinary action.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Scientologists too. Yes. Yeah.
- 18:33Speaker 2: And they went and of course Scientology tried to wash
- 18:37Speaker 2: it over. Didn't go to the police.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 18:40Speaker 2: And so many years later, cause this happened in like 2003, um,
- 18:44Speaker 2: Then these women came forward a couple years ago while
- 18:48Speaker 2: he was on The Ranch on the Netflix show. Oh, yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 2: With his former co-star Ashton Kutcher from the 70s show.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Ashton immediately fired him and distanced himself. The show then
- 19:00Speaker 2: went off the air. He's married to Chyna Phillips' sister.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 19:07Speaker 2: And Chyna Phillips is married to Billy Baldwin. Yeah. So
- 19:11Speaker 2: she's there every day. They have an eight-year-old daughter. During
- 19:15Speaker 2: the trial.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:16Speaker 2: And so as of Friday, they were in trial. I mean,
- 19:24Speaker 2: in jury. The jury went off. And then Shannon let
- 19:28Speaker 2: me know that it's deadlocked on the three charges. And
- 19:35Speaker 2: he sends the panel home for Thanksgiving. The jury. So
- 19:38Speaker 2: the jury has gone home for Thanksgiving. Okay. But it's deadlocked.
- 19:42Speaker 2: But according to Shannon, who is a defense attorney, she
- 19:44Speaker 2: said that is a good sign for the defense.
- 19:48Speaker 3: So what does that mean?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Well, it's not– it wasn't a mistrial. Yeah. So they
- 19:54Speaker 2: still have to go back and deliberate more.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:56Speaker 2: And one of the things they asked was to read
- 19:59Speaker 2: the transcript between he and one of the girls– that
- 20:03Speaker 2: he did date for a while. So I think they're,
- 20:06Speaker 2: you know, so that's always a tricky thing when someone
- 20:08Speaker 2: had a relationship with someone.
- 20:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 4: We all like to think we've got a good eye
- 20:12Speaker 4: for a winning move, but when it comes to property,
- 20:15Speaker 4: it's about seeing the bigger picture. More space, a shorter commute,
- 20:20Speaker 4: somewhere near the sea. On daft.ie, you can explore standout
- 20:24Speaker 4: homes for sale across South Dublin, from Ranelagh to Rathfarnham,
- 20:28Speaker 4: Stillorgan to Sandy Cove. When you're ready for the next chapter,
- 20:32Speaker 4: start with Ireland's number one property platform, daft.ie.
- 20:37Speaker 5: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:40Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:43Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks, and yet somehow have found a
- 20:48Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 20:50Speaker 4: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 20:56Speaker 2: filed against me.
- 20:57Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 20:59Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 21:01Speaker 5: Where did that need come from, where you thought that
- 21:04Speaker 5: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 21:07Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 21:08Speaker 3: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 21:11Speaker 3: started crying.
- 21:12Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 21:16Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 21:19Speaker 5: happens next.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I decided to risk it all.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I realized how valuable every day was. You're worth the work.
- 21:24Speaker 4: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 21:26Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 21:29Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 21:32Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:43Speaker 2: But the series of the three victims, their stories all
- 21:49Speaker 2: line up. It's exactly a pattern of it. And then
- 21:55Speaker 2: this one– so someone wrote me that said, oh, my God,
- 22:00Speaker 2: I was at a party or I knew I was
- 22:03Speaker 2: at a party where Danny Masterson was and my friend
- 22:05Speaker 2: was there. And this was many years ago. And the
- 22:08Speaker 2: friend said, whatever you do, don't go off alone with Danny.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Really?
- 22:12Speaker 2: Really. And she got creepy vibes, so she was like, okay.
- 22:15Speaker 2: But now, like, you know, 20 years later, you're like, oh,
- 22:19Speaker 2: my God. So there might have been other people that,
- 22:23Speaker 2: you know, wake up just like a, you know, all
- 22:25Speaker 2: the victims of the Cosby, where you wake up and you're,
- 22:28Speaker 2: you know, oh, my God, I was there. Maybe I
- 22:30Speaker 2: kissed him. I didn't mean to have sex, you know.
- 22:33Speaker 2: But a lot of it was that they felt drugged
- 22:38Speaker 2: and were not in control of their body and then
- 22:40Speaker 2: were taken advantage of. And then that the Scientologists didn't
- 22:44Speaker 2: follow up and, you know, there could have been corruption
- 22:47Speaker 2: on that. And then also called on the witness list
- 22:51Speaker 2: but she didn't go was Lisa Marie Presley.
- 22:54Speaker 3: She's a Scientologist, right?
- 22:55Speaker 2: She was supposed to take– she was going to take
- 22:57Speaker 2: the stand because one of the girls, one of the victims,
- 23:01Speaker 2: went to her and told her everything. Oh, really? And
- 23:04Speaker 2: so that would have then been, you know, could corroborate
- 23:08Speaker 2: her story.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:09Speaker 2: And, but she was on the list, but she didn't
- 23:12Speaker 2: take the stand. And she is no longer a Scientologist, allegedly.
- 23:15Speaker 2: No longer.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I had heard one time, and I never, I never
- 23:18Speaker 3: hear this being discussed much, but I'll just throw it
- 23:20Speaker 3: out there. I had heard one time that Scientology's, well,
- 23:24Speaker 3: if you try and get out, because it is interesting
- 23:27Speaker 3: that in both cases, let's say Tom Hanks and John Travolta.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Uh, but Tom Hanks is not one.
- 23:33Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Tom Cruise. Yeah. Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Tom
- 23:36Speaker 3: Cruise and John Travolta.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Um, you always hear these rumors that they're gay. You
- 23:42Speaker 3: hear that about both of them. That's whether they're true
- 23:45Speaker 3: or not. You hear the room.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Uh, and they're both Scientologists.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Right.
- 23:50Speaker 3: And then this one, whatever, you know, I, I had
- 23:54Speaker 3: heard rumors sometimes that if you say you're getting out
- 23:56Speaker 3: of Scientology, they say, Oh yeah, you think so? And
- 24:00Speaker 3: then they make, they create these rumors. Rumors. If you
- 24:06Speaker 3: try and get out, we'll ruin your life. Maybe. So, like,
- 24:10Speaker 3: Tom Cruise is like, oh, I'm leaving Scientology. Really? Well,
- 24:13Speaker 3: now we'll spread that you're gay all over the place.
- 24:15Speaker 3: And the same with Travolta. So that's just kind of...
- 24:18Speaker 3: I'm not saying any... I'm sure this probably did happen.
- 24:21Speaker 3: It's Danny Messer and stuff. But I'm saying, anytime I
- 24:24Speaker 3: hear about a Scientology person, you hear them being terrible
- 24:27Speaker 3: things about them, you're like, oh, they probably tried to
- 24:29Speaker 3: get out. That's how I... We still.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Don't know where Shelly Miskovich is.
- 24:33Speaker 3: That one is shocking.
- 24:35Speaker 2: And, you know, with Leah Remini doing all her work,
- 24:38Speaker 2: You know, you wonder how many people, how many detectives,
- 24:41Speaker 2: how many LAPD officers, how many people in this particular
- 24:45Speaker 2: case are kind of in bed with the Scientologist to
- 24:50Speaker 2: make these cases go away or not go forward with
- 24:53Speaker 2: them or I don't know. So that I find really interesting.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Wouldn't it be real easy for someone to just go
- 24:57Speaker 3: knock on the door?
- 24:58Speaker 2: Knock on what door?
- 25:00Speaker 3: Wherever, where he lives. The man, the husband.
- 25:04Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 25:05Speaker 3: Miscavige. Oh, miscavige.
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yes, he always says she's fine. And then she says,
- 25:12Speaker 2: I don't know that she's ever been filmed, but she
- 25:14Speaker 2: has said, like, no, I'm fine. I just don't want
- 25:16Speaker 2: to be in the limelight anymore. Because it all started... Oh,
- 25:18Speaker 2: so she has come out and said that. It all
- 25:19Speaker 2: started with Where's Shelly, which was at the wedding of
- 25:23Speaker 2: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And that is what Leah Remini said. That's when they
- 25:29Speaker 2: started to get annoyed with her.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Is.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And also, they were like, bring J-Lo, bring J-Lo. And
- 25:35Speaker 2: she brought J-Lo to the wedding. And then they didn't
- 25:37Speaker 2: seat J-Lo and her together.
- 25:39Speaker 3: J-Lo and Leah Remini.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, they didn't sit together because they were trying to
- 25:42Speaker 2: recruit her. And then she's like, where's Shelly? And everyone's
- 25:46Speaker 2: just like, how dare you ask? But I've noticed, I
- 25:50Speaker 2: was watching Bachelor in Paradise and a couple other shows.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Things.
- 25:52Speaker 2: There's Scientology commercials now all the time on regular TV.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I saw that too, yeah. But they do like an
- 25:56Speaker 3: interesting spin. They're like, I know you've heard some things
- 25:59Speaker 3: about us.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but why don't you find out for yourself?
- 26:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like during the football games they're showing up.
- 26:03Speaker 2: And it's him. Yeah. It's David.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:06Speaker 2: And he's kind of charming.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. So I'm saying like it's a good angle.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Like I'm not into any of this shit, but it's
- 26:13Speaker 3: not a bad angle because you saw all this weird stuff.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:16Speaker 3: And for the first time they're facing the weird stuff. Like, yeah,
- 26:19Speaker 3: we know what you've heard, but why don't you?
- 26:21Speaker 2: I always remember seeing that Jenna Elfman, who was like
- 26:26Speaker 2: on a bunch of sitcoms, and Leah Remini. And in
- 26:30Speaker 2: Leah Remini's book, she said, I booked 30 pilots before
- 26:35Speaker 2: King of Queens. Yeah. That means every year she was
- 26:38Speaker 2: up for a bunch of them and at least filmed
- 26:40Speaker 2: one of them.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I mean, or maybe it wasn't 30. It was like 13.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It was a lot from like when she was a
- 26:46Speaker 2: teenager until King of Queens.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I remember seeing all this and knowing she was... And
- 26:52Speaker 2: I was like, I'm such a bad auditioner. Like, I
- 26:55Speaker 2: would always get so nervous. I'd get so in my
- 26:58Speaker 2: head that I was pretty unsuccessful in booking jobs. Hence
- 27:02Speaker 2: why I'm sitting here across from you doing a podcast.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Right, right. Yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 2: And there's some people that are just great at auditioning.
- 27:13Speaker 2: They don't get nervous.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 2: They're so relaxed. They, you know.
- 27:17Speaker 3: And they work constantly.
- 27:19Speaker 2: And I always... And I thought... Maybe there's something in
- 27:22Speaker 2: the Scientology mindset that gets people. I never thought that
- 27:27Speaker 2: they were getting jobs because Scientology ran Hollywood. I never
- 27:30Speaker 2: thought that. But I did think maybe there's just some
- 27:34Speaker 2: kind of mindset that you study that makes. And so
- 27:38Speaker 2: there was like a moment in time where I'm like,
- 27:41Speaker 2: do I check this out? Because I'm not successful. And
- 27:45Speaker 2: I'm like, I need something that's going to get me.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:48Speaker 2: To not be so nervous and so shitty in an
- 27:50Speaker 2: audition room.
- 27:51Speaker 3: And especially if you live in Hollywood, they were out there. Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Everybody had a friend who was like, yeah, come by
- 27:57Speaker 3: the Celebrity Center. We have a night where we have
- 28:01Speaker 3: wine night or whatever. You're like, I don't know. I
- 28:04Speaker 3: don't want to do this.
- 28:05Speaker 2: But Leah said in her book that it did. The
- 28:09Speaker 2: kind of teachings and learning. She didn't have a formula.
- 28:12Speaker 2: She was done with school by the time she was 14.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:15Speaker 2: But all the kind of reading and everything that you do,
- 28:18Speaker 2: it's all about your mindset and this unbelievable confidence that
- 28:24Speaker 2: does help you. And then they would play into actors
- 28:27Speaker 2: and stuff, and they'd put people in little films and things.
- 28:31Speaker 2: So you felt like you were pursuing your career while
- 28:33Speaker 2: being sucked in this world.
- 28:37Speaker 3: The very first thing I ever did in Hollywood was
- 28:38Speaker 3: a thing called Vietnam War Story on HBO. It was
- 28:43Speaker 3: like the first HBO original series. Okay. And I was
- 28:46Speaker 3: pretty much a glorified extra. I had like one line.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yes.
- 28:49Speaker 3: And Leah Remini played my girlfriend.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Really? I'm just hearing this now. Did you guys kiss
- 28:56Speaker 2: or anything?
- 28:56Speaker 3: No, we danced together. And we filmed it at Michelli's
- 29:00Speaker 3: in Hollywood. That was the place. And I was going
- 29:02Speaker 3: off to war the next day.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:04Speaker 3: And to Vietnam. And she played my girlfriend in it.
- 29:08Speaker 3: We were both like glorified extras.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 29:11Speaker 3: And then we kind of became friendly to where at
- 29:13Speaker 3: the time, this is all true, I was working at
- 29:15Speaker 3: a Sizzler.
- 29:16Speaker 2: Okay.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Did you eat Texas toast?
- 29:21Speaker 3: We called it cheese toast, but you can call it
- 29:23Speaker 3: what you want.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Okay, yeah.
- 29:24Speaker 3: So I worked there, and she would come in a lot,
- 29:27Speaker 3: her and her boyfriend at the time. Yeah. They lived
- 29:29Speaker 3: somewhere in the area. And she invited me to a
- 29:33Speaker 3: pilot that she had– Like taping of a pilot. Yes.
- 29:37Speaker 3: And it was called Living Dolls.
- 29:40Speaker 2: I remember that. It was about models.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Models.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Garcelle was on it.
- 29:43Speaker 3: So was Halle Berry.
- 29:45Speaker 5: No, no.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Maybe it wasn't Garcelle. Maybe it was Halle Berry.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Halle Berry was one of the models and so was she.
- 29:50Speaker 3: And we went.
- 29:51Speaker 2: But I remember watching it because I was like the
- 29:53Speaker 2: one thing I had going for me because I always
- 29:54Speaker 2: wanted to be a model. But, you know, I didn't
- 29:56Speaker 2: have the face for it. But I didn't know that
- 29:58Speaker 2: because my mom would tell me that I did.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 30:01Speaker 2: But I did have the height.
- 30:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:03Speaker 2: And I remember watching this about Living Dolls, New York
- 30:05Speaker 2: top models. And I'm like, how is this little Leah
- 30:08Speaker 2: Remini like playing a model? Yeah. But she was the
- 30:11Speaker 2: tough Brooklyn shit, that voice.
- 30:12Speaker 3: She was the Brooklyn one. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
- 30:15Speaker 2: So you went to it. You went to the taping.
- 30:16Speaker 3: I went to the taping of it. Yeah. That was
- 30:17Speaker 3: like the first time I'd ever been to like a taping.
- 30:19Speaker 3: I was like, I mean, I was like, this is Hollywood.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:22Speaker 3: We are in Hollywood. This is amazing.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Wow.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Realize you've got to be there nine hours and, you know, eat.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Well, you remember when we were at Chelsea Lately that
- 30:32Speaker 2: Chelsea was really good friends with Leah because they did
- 30:34Speaker 2: some like webisode thing right before Chelsea Lately started about
- 30:38Speaker 2: being mothers.
- 30:40Speaker 3: That's right.
- 30:40Speaker 2: And so they, that's where they met and they became friends.
- 30:44Speaker 2: And- but we would make fun of Scientology. And I
- 30:46Speaker 2: remember one time we did this bit, we talked about
- 30:49Speaker 2: Scientology and we, we like Photoshopped like an alien body
- 30:53Speaker 2: next to someone making a copy at the copy machine
- 30:55Speaker 2: or whatever. And we did a bit and, um, and
- 30:59Speaker 2: she contacted Chelsea and she's like, Hey, could you lay
- 31:02Speaker 2: off on the Scientology? Come on, Chels, could you lay
- 31:04Speaker 2: off the Scientology? But I remember Chelsea being like, we
- 31:06Speaker 2: can't do Scientology stuff anymore. And then later on, you know,
- 31:12Speaker 2: She thought Leah's watching it, you know, so we were
- 31:17Speaker 2: going to do something. And then it happened like, again, hey, Chels,
- 31:20Speaker 2: like I told you not to make fun of Scientology.
- 31:23Speaker 2: And then there was something where she realized that then
- 31:29Speaker 2: Leah called her the next day or that night. Maybe
- 31:33Speaker 2: the next day. And she was like, wait a minute.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Leah didn't watch the episode because she was with me
- 31:39Speaker 2: or something. Oh, some other people. So then Chelsea realized
- 31:41Speaker 2: that they must have assigned Leah to Chelsea. So every
- 31:47Speaker 2: time we would do something, then Leah would have to
- 31:51Speaker 2: then be the friend to try to keep Chelsea lately
- 31:54Speaker 2: from not watching. saying anything negative about Scientology oh that's
- 31:57Speaker 2: interesting and then Chelsea was like fuck that yeah you
- 32:00Speaker 2: know and then they became friends and I know then
- 32:02Speaker 2: once Leah left they've had conversations about how like you
- 32:07Speaker 2: know but I always am like I like what Leah
- 32:09Speaker 2: Romney has done but like when is she ever going
- 32:12Speaker 2: to take responsibility for like being a bully like she
- 32:15Speaker 2: was a bully right she was a Scientologist bully.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Right right yeah exactly.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah yeah but I mean she probably has I'm sure
- 32:22Speaker 2: we'll hear a letter that she has I know she
- 32:24Speaker 2: has but.
- 32:25Speaker 3: To go back to my theory again, what I was
- 32:27Speaker 3: saying about all of a sudden they'll find a way
- 32:29Speaker 3: to get you. That guy who wrote the movie Crash,
- 32:33Speaker 3: the guy who directed the movie Crash, remember he.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Wrote that whole thing? Wasn't Halle Berry in Crash?
- 32:37Speaker 3: Was she in Crash? Maybe. I don't know.
- 32:39Speaker 2: Okay, yeah.
- 32:40Speaker 3: But there was a Sandra Bullock's in it.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Oh, yes.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I think so. He wrote this whole thing.
- 32:45Speaker 3: He got out of Scientology, remember? Wrote this whole thing.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, and then he died, right?
- 32:48Speaker 3: No, he just got accused of rape.
- 32:51Speaker 2: He did?
- 32:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Okay.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Juicy scoop.
- 32:57Speaker 2: So Todd Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best. This has been
- 33:02Speaker 2: a show that's been on USA for like eight years.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I've talked about it. He went on trial for tax evasion.
- 33:10Speaker 2: They had a guy that worked for them.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:12Speaker 2: That like did their books or whatever. And he said
- 33:17Speaker 2: they had a romantic relationship. Todd has denied it since
- 33:21Speaker 2: he's a married man. But he has always acted very effeminate.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Other people said that's just a Southern guy who likes
- 33:28Speaker 2: to dress well and enjoys his Botox. Because every scene
- 33:31Speaker 2: was him acting like he couldn't wait to fuck his wife, Julie. Constantly.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:36Speaker 2: And it was a reality show, but it was like
- 33:38Speaker 2: scripted reality. It was like very put-upon fake. Anyway, he...
- 33:43Speaker 2: Got convicted. So the guy that said they would– so
- 33:48Speaker 2: what they would do, they would inflate in simplest terms.
- 33:52Speaker 2: They inflated how much they made. They lied about how
- 33:54Speaker 2: much they made with fake documents in order to get
- 33:58Speaker 2: loans for up to $ 30 million. Right. And then they
- 34:01Speaker 2: would default on those loans and keep that money. So
- 34:05Speaker 2: that is the deception that they did in simplest terms
- 34:08Speaker 2: to the IRS.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Yes.
- 34:10Speaker 2: He said, Todd Chrisley said, I never did any of this.
- 34:18Speaker 2: He did it, this accountant guy, because he was obsessed
- 34:21Speaker 2: with my celebrity. And now he's trying to ruin my life.
- 34:25Speaker 2: But I, you know, we never did any of this.
- 34:27Speaker 2: He did. The guy is like, I did it because
- 34:31Speaker 2: I was told to do it by my boss who
- 34:33Speaker 2: paid me to do it.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:34Speaker 2: He just got 36 months. They're letting him turn himself in.
- 34:40Speaker 2: In May, because he's getting a hip surgery. But as
- 34:43Speaker 2: we record this on Monday, they're waiting to get their sentencing,
- 34:49Speaker 2: he and his wife.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:51Speaker 2: And they're looking at 30 years, but the prosecutor is
- 34:55Speaker 2: asking for 17.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Ooh, that's a lot.
- 34:58Speaker 2: So I.
- 34:58Speaker 3: This poor guy in prison with that sweater on?
- 35:04Speaker 4: Jesus.
- 35:04Speaker 2: So we'll see what they get.
- 35:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:06Speaker 2: You know? And then their son just got in a
- 35:09Speaker 2: car accident. I think he's going to be okay, but
- 35:11Speaker 2: he's hurt their youngest son.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But yeah, I've gone deep on this whole thing, but
- 35:17Speaker 2: now we're waiting to see what they get.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:20Speaker 2: A lot of people getting time. So this is juicy,
- 35:26Speaker 2: kind of interesting. So this woman had embryos frozen.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 35:33Speaker 2: And... What you can do with your frozen embryos, you
- 35:35Speaker 2: can donate them to somebody that can't afford to go
- 35:40Speaker 2: through the process of getting their own embryos. They can
- 35:42Speaker 2: just put those embryos in them so they don't have
- 35:45Speaker 2: to get an egg from someone. They don't have to. Yeah,
- 35:47Speaker 2: they don't have to. It's already ready to go.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Like the mashed potatoes you get at Costco. Just a
- 35:52Speaker 3: big frozen block of embryos.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because that will save you a lot of money
- 35:57Speaker 2: and a lot of time going through all the process
- 35:59Speaker 2: of stimulating your eggs, then getting the sperm. So if
- 36:02Speaker 2: you're fine with it not being biologically yours, but you
- 36:05Speaker 2: want to carry a baby, you can get. So this
- 36:08Speaker 2: couple said, give us the most unwanted embryos you have.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Oh.
- 36:14Speaker 2: And they said, we have ones that have been in
- 36:17Speaker 2: the freezer since 1992.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Oh, like old freezer burned in the back.
- 36:25Speaker 2: And so they just gave birth to them.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Wow.
- 36:30Speaker 2: So, I mean, talk about an old soul. This is
- 36:33Speaker 2: the epitome of an old soul. They really are an
- 36:35Speaker 2: old soul. They were conceived 30 years ago. Wow. And
- 36:38Speaker 2: being born today. And I'm just like, wow, that'll be,
- 36:41Speaker 2: I mean.
- 36:41Speaker 3: I'm sure they'll be completely normal. I mean, the one kid,
- 36:43Speaker 3: the one looks 35. If you look at his face.
- 36:47Speaker 3: But yeah.
- 36:48Speaker 2: No, they look cute. Well, good for them. But yeah,
- 36:52Speaker 2: I always think that's. Like, on Real Housewives of OC,
- 36:56Speaker 2: Heather Dubrow, she went through fertility and has frozen embryos.
- 37:02Speaker 2: And she said on some show or whatever, she might
- 37:05Speaker 2: have said it to me. I just thought it was
- 37:06Speaker 2: so interesting. She's like, well, you know, because a lot
- 37:10Speaker 2: of people don't want to freeze them. I mean, don't
- 37:13Speaker 2: want to destroy them. But then they also might have
- 37:15Speaker 2: a problem donating them because then you don't know where
- 37:18Speaker 2: your child is going to be running around. But then they, like,
- 37:22Speaker 2: But sometimes it's expensive to keep them frozen, but then
- 37:24Speaker 2: they don't want to destroy them. So it's like a
- 37:26Speaker 2: weird position to be in when you have these extra embryos.
- 37:29Speaker 2: But Heather Dubrow has said, well, I don't know, maybe
- 37:32Speaker 2: my daughter would want them. Yeah. Which then, if that
- 37:35Speaker 2: ever happened, then you would be raising your sibling.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Right, right, right.
- 37:42Speaker 2: As your child.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:45Speaker 2: So it's crazy.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Yeah, so look at those kids. Good.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 2: What if they really are like 90s kids?
- 37:51Speaker 3: Well, I mean, somebody's got to make it. This is
- 37:54Speaker 3: like a movie in the making right here, a cartoon
- 37:57Speaker 3: of an old baby.
- 37:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:59Speaker 3: You know, he's 32. He's angry. He's a cigarette. Like,
- 38:03Speaker 3: where was I? Sitting behind a half gallon of Breyers
- 38:06Speaker 3: ice cream for the last 28 years.
- 38:07Speaker 2: He doesn't want to work an iPad. He's like, what
- 38:09Speaker 2: is this?
- 38:10Speaker 3: Exactly. I mean, come on.
- 38:11Speaker 2: All his other friends have iPads.
- 38:13Speaker 3: He's like. We're writing it already.
- 38:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Olivia Wilde has broken up with Harry Styles. They broke up.
- 38:21Speaker 2: And she made her first appearance since they took their
- 38:23Speaker 2: amical decision to take a break.
- 38:26Speaker 3: Where did she come out at? Where was she? Where
- 38:29Speaker 3: was her public appearance? Just to get an event?
- 38:32Speaker 2: Can you just look up where the public appeared?
- 38:33Speaker 3: A function?
- 38:33Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I didn't see this one go in the distance.
- 38:37Speaker 2: I'm going to say it right now. People can be mad.
- 38:40Speaker 2: I don't care. I think he's bi.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Why now? Based on what? I know we talked about
- 38:45Speaker 3: this a little bit in the live... Yeah, that's what
- 38:48Speaker 3: it is.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I just have always felt it. I feel like there are... Okay,
- 38:54Speaker 2: in my day, I really didn't believe that guys could
- 38:58Speaker 2: be bi. I just thought if they're bi, they prefer dick.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:03Speaker 2: But they might be with... Now I feel that younger people,
- 39:07Speaker 2: younger guys.
- 39:09Speaker 3: Just go.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Can be actually bi. Like, can really... kind of enjoy
- 39:14Speaker 2: both and they don't try to hide it. They don't
- 39:16Speaker 2: have a chip on their shoulder about it, whatever. So
- 39:19Speaker 2: I'm just saying, like, I think that they had a
- 39:21Speaker 2: real relationship and a real sexual relationship. I totally do.
- 39:25Speaker 2: But I just wouldn't be surprised. I'm not saying it's true.
- 39:27Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised if maybe the next person he
- 39:30Speaker 2: dates is not a woman. I'm going to say a
- 39:35Speaker 2: couple of people down the line.
- 39:37Speaker 3: She was at another award show.
- 39:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 2: The governor's awards.
- 39:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:44Speaker 3: I don't know about that one, but I don't know
- 39:45Speaker 3: anything about Harry Styles outside of the fact that I've
- 39:48Speaker 3: seen him in Dunworth.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Right, and there's a conspiracy theory that he wears a
- 39:53Speaker 2: toupee or a wig.
- 39:55Speaker 3: No, really?
- 39:57Speaker 2: Yes. There's this video of it, kind of like the
- 40:00Speaker 2: way how Beyonce... Her first child with blue IV. It
- 40:04Speaker 2: looked like the stomach was folding. There's like video of
- 40:08Speaker 2: like that too. So I don't know if it's not real,
- 40:10Speaker 2: but it's like flipping up and all this other stuff.
- 40:13Speaker 3: Oh, okay. You might have some extensions in there or something.
- 40:16Speaker 2: I don't know. No, it looks like, I mean, unless
- 40:18Speaker 2: this is not.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Unless this was manipulated to look like that. Okay.
- 40:22Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 40:23Speaker 4: Wow.
- 40:23Speaker 3: There's so much to know.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Leonardo DiCaprio went to Balthazar.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:30Speaker 2: The famous restaurant. Yeah.
- 40:32Speaker 3: And this is the one where James Corden is not
- 40:34Speaker 3: allowed in anymore, but now he's back.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Now he's back. Now he can come anytime. And he
- 40:39Speaker 2: had a baseball hat on and a mask, but then they,
- 40:43Speaker 2: page six, thought it was funny because they had a
- 40:46Speaker 2: big sign at.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Where the hostess is saying.
- 40:50Speaker 2: AA, I guess maybe that means that you're a double A-lister.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Leonardo DiCaprio, table 61. So like anybody that was walking
- 40:59Speaker 2: by the hostess would see that, That he was actually there.
- 41:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Like, it's not going to make a difference. But I
- 41:05Speaker 2: guess he's still dating Gigi Hadid. As you now know, everybody,
- 41:11Speaker 2: Pete Davidson is dating Emily Ratajetsky.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Ratajetsky.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:16Speaker 3: Ratajetsky.
- 41:18Speaker 2: And I think that they're both really thirsty. And I
- 41:22Speaker 2: think that they are calling paparazzi to come film them
- 41:25Speaker 2: because they got together this weekend or Friday. Right. And-
- 41:30Speaker 2: The paparazzi was there and according to what street they
- 41:32Speaker 2: are in New York, it's not like a place anyone stays.
- 41:35Speaker 2: And clearly they knew where they were going to this party.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And then they get together and then they went right
- 41:41Speaker 2: into this hallway and they hugged in the window so
- 41:45Speaker 2: that someone could take the photos from page six.
- 41:48Speaker 3: I'm also seeing photos now of him with her ex-husband,
- 41:51Speaker 3: that bear, whatever his name was, bear or something, the woman,
- 41:55Speaker 3: the man she was married to. Her and Pete Davidson
- 41:57Speaker 3: were good friends. Him.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Oh.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Him and Pete Davidson. So now they're like.
- 42:01Speaker 2: Now they're still being friendly or back in the day
- 42:03Speaker 2: they were friendly?
- 42:03Speaker 3: No, back in the day. They were at a Knicks
- 42:05Speaker 3: game together. Oh. So people like, is he breaking the
- 42:08Speaker 3: bro code of dating?
- 42:10Speaker 2: Well, I remember seeing when he was dating Kim Kardashian.
- 42:12Speaker 2: I remember an old interview came up of him on
- 42:15Speaker 2: a talk show saying what a great night he had
- 42:19Speaker 2: running into Kanye and Kim at Nobu and they all
- 42:23Speaker 2: had dinner together. Oh. When he was like years before
- 42:26Speaker 2: he got with Kim.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Be careful.
- 42:27Speaker 2: I just think there's like, yeah, he's just, we'll go
- 42:30Speaker 2: for anybody like just, but I don't, I mean, are
- 42:32Speaker 2: they boning? Probably. She seems pretty sexual, but I just
- 42:35Speaker 2: think they're also super thirsty for the press.
- 42:39Speaker 3: Absolutely. Yes. I mean, I feel this whole Pete Davidson thing. Like,
- 42:44Speaker 3: I feel like Hollywood gets behind, um, like they get
- 42:49Speaker 3: behind certain people and just say, we got to make
- 42:51Speaker 3: this happen.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Why is the Hilton calling you?
- 42:53Speaker 3: I don't know. It's like, I keep getting phone calls
- 42:55Speaker 3: from the Hilton. It's Paris Hilton. Hold on. Yep. Where
- 42:58Speaker 3: are you DJing tonight?
- 43:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Anyway, yeah. So it's just like, I felt like it
- 43:04Speaker 3: was that way. I remember Matthew McConaughey, before Matthew McConaughey
- 43:07Speaker 3: became a big star. Hollywood was like, we are going
- 43:10Speaker 3: to make this happen if it kills us.
- 43:12Speaker 2: I remember going to this thing called Hot Cup of
- 43:15Speaker 2: Talk at the Groundlings, where it's the beginning of alternative comedy.
- 43:20Speaker 2: And Kathy Griffin, who wasn't really a stand-up at the time,
- 43:22Speaker 2: but she was starting to do this thing where you
- 43:24Speaker 2: would just tell stories instead of telling like, more you
- 43:27Speaker 2: know traditional jokes and I remember going to watch her
- 43:31Speaker 2: and she was just like acting and it was before
- 43:33Speaker 2: I didn't even heard of Matthew McConaughey but she was
- 43:35Speaker 2: like almost like imitating like an agent like get me
- 43:38Speaker 2: McConaughey I'm gonna make McConaughey a star like this whole
- 43:41Speaker 2: thing and like how this all happens where it's like
- 43:44Speaker 2: my god enough yeah.
- 43:45Speaker 3: They had like these people get these teams of people
- 43:48Speaker 3: behind them to just you know we gotta make this
- 43:51Speaker 3: guy happen I don't know why they pick certain people
- 43:53Speaker 3: but I feel like Pete Davidson is one of those
- 43:55Speaker 3: people We are going to make it. And I feel
- 43:58Speaker 3: like sometimes it just doesn't happen. Like in the case
- 44:02Speaker 3: of Pete Davidson, I think it's going to be that.
- 44:04Speaker 2: People felt that about Armie Hammer. They felt like they're like,
- 44:09Speaker 2: there was even an article about it before he got,
- 44:11Speaker 2: you know, all the stuff of him DMing people saying,
- 44:14Speaker 2: I want to eat rib. Before that. They were like,
- 44:17Speaker 2: my God, he kept getting movies and he kept getting
- 44:20Speaker 2: big ones. And none of that. And it was flop
- 44:22Speaker 2: after flop after flop. And they're like, what's going on?
- 44:24Speaker 2: If this was any other guy, he wouldn't keep getting
- 44:27Speaker 2: these opportunities.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:28Speaker 2: But I think it was because he was so good looking.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Yeah, but you throw a rock and hit a guy
- 44:33Speaker 3: good looking in Hollywood.
- 44:34Speaker 2: But when that movie that he got of the one
- 44:38Speaker 2: where the kid wanted to try to fuck a peach.
- 44:41Speaker 3: What was that? Say My Name. Say My Name. Call
- 44:43Speaker 3: Me By Your Name.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Call Me By Your Name. That movie. was every 50-year-old
- 44:51Speaker 2: gay man's fantasy. Because it took place in the 80s.
- 44:55Speaker 3: I'm straight. It was my fantasy. I loved it.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I thought he looked like my old boyfriend because he
- 44:58Speaker 2: was preppy clothes.
- 44:59Speaker 3: It took place in some nice, beautiful house in Italy.
- 45:04Speaker 2: In the mid-80s. In the mid-80s. So some 50-year-old gay
- 45:08Speaker 2: guy in Hollywood was like, of course I love this.
- 45:11Speaker 2: And it was a summer thing. And here he's this
- 45:15Speaker 2: straight-acting guy who... swoops in and takes advantage of this
- 45:18Speaker 2: 17 year old kid yeah so i'm like i think
- 45:23Speaker 2: i do think there was an element of hollywood that
- 45:25Speaker 2: was just extremely attracted to army hammer right i don't
- 45:30Speaker 2: think it had anything really to do with his pedigree
- 45:32Speaker 2: i think it was just like his looks and stuff
- 45:34Speaker 2: but you mentioned that the other day you're like that
- 45:36Speaker 2: story kind of like what's going on with that with
- 45:39Speaker 2: the documentary oh.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Yeah we were taking our our car ride uh to
- 45:42Speaker 3: phil from philly dc And I was saying that I
- 45:45Speaker 3: just– I feel like that went away that– because they
- 45:47Speaker 3: had a documentary come out about– Yeah. I remember seeing
- 45:50Speaker 3: the trailer for it.
- 45:50Speaker 2: I think that the real depth of that documentary is
- 45:55Speaker 2: from the great-grandfather to the grandfather to his dad to–
- 45:59Speaker 2: there's all this weird stuff that went on sexually with
- 46:04Speaker 2: all of them and the money and everything. But I
- 46:06Speaker 2: think a lot of it they couldn't share on the
- 46:07Speaker 2: documentary because Armie's– But and then also in what the
- 46:16Speaker 2: girls said, I just don't think people were very like
- 46:20Speaker 2: sympathetic to it because it's like at one moment they
- 46:22Speaker 2: would say, we don't want to shame anybody that's into
- 46:26Speaker 2: kinky sex.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:27Speaker 2: But then really that's what the girls were saying was
- 46:30Speaker 2: that they were dating him. They immediately got to S
- 46:33Speaker 2: & M and they thought they were in like they
- 46:36Speaker 2: were like, hey, I liked Fifty Shades of Grey. This
- 46:38Speaker 2: shouldn't be so hard.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:39Speaker 2: And then he would. He would use that to actually
- 46:43Speaker 2: hurt them.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 46:45Speaker 2: And then he'd be like, I got to put a
- 46:50Speaker 2: leash on you and you have to be outside waiting
- 46:53Speaker 2: for me like a dog. And then they would do it.
- 46:55Speaker 3: That was a real one, right?
- 46:56Speaker 2: That was a real one. And then they would do it.
- 46:57Speaker 2: And then a lot of them would find out that
- 47:01Speaker 2: he was seeing somebody else.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. So what are they more upset about, seeing
- 47:06Speaker 3: someone else or waiting outside in the cold with a
- 47:08Speaker 3: leash on?
- 47:09Speaker 2: I think they realized that, yes, it was an abusive relationship.
- 47:13Speaker 2: It was obviously not a good relationship. You know, he
- 47:16Speaker 2: lied to them about being exclusive, but also he pushed
- 47:20Speaker 2: the envelope physically with them. But he never did eat
- 47:25Speaker 2: anyone's rib.
- 47:26Speaker 3: No, no, no. That was a kink, right? Just talking
- 47:28Speaker 3: about that.
- 47:29Speaker 2: So I think other people are like just DMing and saying,
- 47:31Speaker 2: I want to eat your ribs. Does it really mean, like,
- 47:36Speaker 2: that could have just been his dirty talk? No, there's
- 47:37Speaker 2: these people.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Who, yeah, exactly. There's these people who do all that,
- 47:40Speaker 3: you know, they dress up like furries. I mean, that's
- 47:43Speaker 3: a whole world where some people have weird kink. Thank
- 47:46Speaker 3: God I'm not one of them.
- 47:48Speaker 2: I think, I feel like everybody comes back. Louis C.K.,
- 47:51Speaker 2: everybody comes back. And I don't know that he'll ever
- 47:56Speaker 2: be at the movie star status, but I predict that
- 47:58Speaker 2: he will work again in something.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 48:04Speaker 2: But then, you know, because he, if he, but it's
- 48:07Speaker 2: got to happen soon while he still is like young
- 48:09Speaker 2: and good looking.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Right. Right. Yeah.
- 48:11Speaker 2: If it goes too long, then it's going to be like,
- 48:13Speaker 2: who cares? Like he's got to try to make, but
- 48:15Speaker 2: who knows?
- 48:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:17Speaker 2: I don't think people had sympathy for the girls. That's
- 48:19Speaker 2: also it.
- 48:21Speaker 3: I didn't see the documentary, but yeah.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Shep Rose, who's on Southern Charm.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:25Speaker 2: He posted, I feel like if I walk into a room,
- 48:28Speaker 2: these two guys, Harry Styles and Pete Davidson, are there
- 48:33Speaker 2: looking like this that I would have zero anxiety about
- 48:36Speaker 2: trying to get the girl. Meaning like he thinks he's
- 48:39Speaker 2: cuter than the two of them.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Oh.
- 48:40Speaker 2: But he looks not cute here.
- 48:42Speaker 3: No, that's not a cute picture of him.
- 48:43Speaker 2: And he's getting older. Anyway, I just thought that was interesting.
- 48:47Speaker 2: Julia Fox weighed in. Julia Fox is killing it on
- 48:51Speaker 2: social media. People are really enjoying her videos where she
- 48:56Speaker 2: talks to the camera.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:58Speaker 2: And she comes up with all different kinds of things.
- 49:00Speaker 2: philosophies and stuff and she doesn't like lying on the
- 49:03Speaker 2: bed and she's just always like looking up like this
- 49:06Speaker 2: um her blonde eyebrows are starting to grow out so
- 49:09Speaker 2: in this video she doesn't look as frightening yeah and
- 49:13Speaker 2: and she's talking and she's like um i'm going to
- 49:16Speaker 2: tell you guys about Kanye. Um, you know, I used
- 49:21Speaker 2: to have a clothing line and I always liked Kim
- 49:24Speaker 2: and Kim would sell my clothes at her store and
- 49:28Speaker 2: I always really enjoyed her. So when I was talking
- 49:31Speaker 2: to Kanye, I just enjoyed him as an artist. And
- 49:33Speaker 2: I thought he was being so awful to Kim before
- 49:36Speaker 2: he got with me for that month. I thought, oh, good,
- 49:40Speaker 2: I'm being a distraction from Kanye bugging Kim. And at
- 49:45Speaker 2: that time, he wasn't on Twitter, and I thought I
- 49:48Speaker 2: was good for him. So when people are like, why
- 49:50Speaker 2: didn't you stop him? I'm like, I couldn't stop him.
- 49:53Speaker 2: And then she's like, and I stand with my Jewish
- 49:55Speaker 2: brothers and sisters.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Oh, good. Yeah, well, I'm sure the Jewish people are
- 49:59Speaker 3: happy to hear that she's on board.
- 50:01Speaker 2: So people are like, I don't know if she's saying
- 50:03Speaker 2: that she was distracting him from harassing Kim. Or that
- 50:08Speaker 2: she was trying to save him. Now she said, I
- 50:11Speaker 2: was trying to save him, but he would be harassing her.
- 50:16Speaker 2: She'd be like, oh my God, he's yelling at me
- 50:18Speaker 2: via text, whatever. I personally don't think they ever fucked.
- 50:22Speaker 3: I 100% agree with you. I think the whole thing
- 50:25Speaker 3: was weird. I didn't even know she was there half
- 50:29Speaker 3: the time. Even in the pictures, like paparazzi pictures, I'm like,
- 50:32Speaker 3: does he know she's behind him?
- 50:34Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't think they ever fucked because she also
- 50:37Speaker 2: said in an interview, um, she's like, I'm not, I,
- 50:41Speaker 2: I'm not that sexual. Like I'm not ready to sex.
- 50:44Speaker 2: And I thought, I always think that's interesting when somebody
- 50:46Speaker 2: starts having sex young or she's like, I was a
- 50:50Speaker 2: sex worker. She was a dominatrix. And I'm not saying
- 50:53Speaker 2: that with everybody, but like, I believe her. I believe
- 50:56Speaker 2: that she's just like. doesn't really, it's not super horny.
- 50:59Speaker 3: Can you imagine waiting for Kanye to get his big
- 51:02Speaker 3: rubber boots off and zip in his park and all
- 51:05Speaker 3: that shit he wears? Like, oh my God. You know,
- 51:08Speaker 3: waiting in the bed like, you know what? The mood's gone.
- 51:11Speaker 3: The mood's gone.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and she's just like, yeah, I'm going to do
- 51:14Speaker 2: Kanye and talk about uncut gems on like her weird voice.
- 51:17Speaker 2: But she's kind of bright. I have to say, like,
- 51:20Speaker 2: I would watch, I follow her and like, she does say,
- 51:24Speaker 2: she does make some good points in her little TikToks.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I had... I joke about her a lot.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:30Speaker 3: Somebody wrote me, like, she's actually pretty accomplished and basically
- 51:33Speaker 3: saying what you're saying. And so I looked her up.
- 51:36Speaker 3: I was like, maybe I'm wrong.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Is she accomplished?
- 51:38Speaker 2: I don't know that she's accomplished.
- 51:39Speaker 3: She's not. She's not. Let me tell you she's not.
- 51:42Speaker 2: In her TikToks, she brings up some good points that
- 51:48Speaker 2: haven't been brought up by other people.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Okay, well, that's good.
- 51:51Speaker 2: So I'll give her that.
- 51:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 51:53Speaker 3: I think I might have to make a... like a
- 51:55Speaker 3: referendum in 2023 of like, I'm kind of done with
- 52:00Speaker 3: like people who just don't do anything. Like, I feel
- 52:02Speaker 3: like she's one of those. I like, it's all good.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Like in this kind of Jesus group world, it's fun
- 52:06Speaker 3: to talk about, but I don't know what she does. Like,
- 52:10Speaker 3: she's not an actress. She's not anything.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Well, I saw her.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Not really anything like Zsa Zsa Gabor. Right. I felt
- 52:16Speaker 3: like we all knew, we all know these people, but like,
- 52:19Speaker 3: what do they do? You know, there was a lot.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Oh, speaking of which, I saw that Angeline movie.
- 52:25Speaker 3: That's exactly what I mean.
- 52:28Speaker 2: And it was so boring. I watched two episodes on
- 52:31Speaker 2: the plane on the way to Boston. Angeline is the
- 52:34Speaker 2: girl that had the hot pink Corvette and all the billboards.
- 52:38Speaker 2: And it's basically how did she get the billboards. And
- 52:40Speaker 2: growing up, I always thought she had some rich old
- 52:42Speaker 2: man or whatever that pay it. She did find some rich.
- 52:45Speaker 2: But he actually ran the billboards and he would just
- 52:47Speaker 2: like put her up there, I guess if it was
- 52:49Speaker 2: a spare one or whatever. And then he put the
- 52:52Speaker 2: number down to the billboard place. So in the end,
- 52:55Speaker 2: he would sell advertising because people would call and be like, oh.
- 52:59Speaker 2: So it was like a win-win. And there's no juice
- 53:03Speaker 2: to the story.
- 53:04Speaker 3: No.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Like she just wanted to be famous and she always
- 53:08Speaker 2: wanted a billboard. Yeah. It's pretty boring.
- 53:11Speaker 3: If you want juice, I'll give you juice. I saw
- 53:12Speaker 3: her in a 99-cent store once, and that's not a joke.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Going down the aisle, 99-cent store, shopping cart full of
- 53:20Speaker 3: 99-cent items, and she had a jar of pickles from
- 53:24Speaker 3: the store open, and she was eating the pickles out
- 53:28Speaker 3: of the jar.
- 53:28Speaker 2: So she didn't have to pay for it.
- 53:30Speaker 3: Well, I think she was going to pay for them,
- 53:32Speaker 3: but she was enjoying the pickles while she was shopping
- 53:36Speaker 3: in the 99-cent store.
- 53:37Speaker 2: I have a better story than that that I remembered.
- 53:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 53:41Speaker 2: So when my, my brother was, um, a musician and
- 53:45Speaker 2: he always had a rock bands and in the Angeline show,
- 53:49Speaker 2: she tried to be in a band and she was
- 53:51Speaker 2: hanging out the whiskey, a go-go in like the seventies before.
- 53:55Speaker 2: And then I think it was the late eighties or
- 53:58Speaker 2: mid eighties when the billboards first started. So my brother
- 54:02Speaker 2: got in some accident. He was at the hospital and, um,
- 54:08Speaker 2: And there was this stuffed unicorn there.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 54:12Speaker 2: And Angeline visited him and brought him the stuffed unicorn. Wow. That's... Yeah,
- 54:18Speaker 2: and my sister's like, Angeline.
- 54:20Speaker 3: I think we just wrote another episode.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Angeline was just here. Yeah. Angeline was just here visiting Jim.
- 54:27Speaker 2: And I completely, I mean, I believed it then. There's
- 54:31Speaker 2: no reason to lie about it, but it completely makes
- 54:32Speaker 2: sense that knowing what my brother, who my brother was,
- 54:36Speaker 2: what he was like, and that she, and who she was,
- 54:40Speaker 2: that she would absolutely be friends with him.
- 54:43Speaker 3: They like hung out at the Whiskey A Go-Go or something.
- 54:45Speaker 2: They were friendly.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Didn't he get hit by a car like leaving the
- 54:48Speaker 3: Whiskey A Go-Go?
- 54:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but this was a different car. This was a
- 54:52Speaker 2: different situation. This was longer. This was like, Maybe early
- 54:57Speaker 2: 90s that she brought him the stuffed unicorn. Wow. That's
- 55:00Speaker 2: a really good one. And then I took the unicorn.
- 55:02Speaker 2: He's like, I don't want the unicorn. I had the
- 55:04Speaker 2: unicorn in my high school, college, whatever room at my
- 55:09Speaker 2: parents' house. I mean, you have a lot of fancy-
- 55:11Speaker 2: I can see it in my head.
- 55:12Speaker 3: You have a lot of fancy friends and stuff, but
- 55:13Speaker 3: I think your brother has the most, for me, the
- 55:15Speaker 3: most impressive celebrity friend.
- 55:17Speaker 2: I just remembered that. And this whole time that I've
- 55:20Speaker 2: talked about Angeline, I never- remembered that story until i
- 55:24Speaker 2: started watching this thing that she was like into rockers
- 55:27Speaker 2: and tried to be in a rock band and hanging
- 55:28Speaker 2: out at the whiskey a go-go all the time and
- 55:30Speaker 2: i was like oh my god wow that's pretty wild
- 55:33Speaker 2: um yeah so anyway kanye west treat treat tweeted a
- 55:39Speaker 2: hebrew greeting over the weekend oh good see everybody's it's
- 55:42Speaker 2: all gonna work out jeffrey epstein they are going to
- 55:49Speaker 2: release some more names that is part of the girl suing.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Are there going to be names?
- 55:55Speaker 2: This is all part of Prince Andrew.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Bill Richardson. Let's hear a bombshell one.
- 56:01Speaker 2: So it's this guy, Pritzker. He is this billionaire that
- 56:06Speaker 2: doesn't want his name. He doesn't want this stuff opened
- 56:10Speaker 2: up and revealing whatever these elements are to the case
- 56:15Speaker 2: of the woman who is you know, who has her
- 56:19Speaker 2: lawsuit still going.
- 56:20Speaker 3: Okay.
- 56:21Speaker 2: And it's against Prince Andrew and this guy Pritzker.
- 56:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:26Speaker 2: He's a billionaire hedge fund manager. Oh, and so former
- 56:30Speaker 2: New Mexico governor, Bill, Bill Richardson and billionaire hedge fund manager,
- 56:34Speaker 2: Glenn Dubin, all of the men have denied that they
- 56:40Speaker 2: were involved with her.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Right.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Gun for Guffrey. Um, and they don't want, these materials
- 56:46Speaker 2: being revealed.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Because he had a house in New Mexico, right? That's
- 56:49Speaker 3: where a.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Lot of this went down. Where he kept all those women.
- 56:52Speaker 3: And Bill Richardson was the governor of New Mexico. He
- 56:54Speaker 3: actually ran for president at one point, Bill Richardson. It
- 56:56Speaker 3: lasted about a minute, but he did.
- 56:58Speaker 2: We'll see. I'm like, I don't know that we're ever
- 57:00Speaker 2: going to know anything more. Jeff Garland from the Goldbergs
- 57:05Speaker 2: and from Curb.
- 57:05Speaker 3: He got a bit of a cancellation, but then he.
- 57:07Speaker 2: No, he got fired from the show.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Yeah, because they said he was mean backstage.
- 57:13Speaker 2: And there's some sexual, or maybe not.
- 57:16Speaker 3: I don't think it was sexual.
- 57:17Speaker 2: I think it's verbally.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Abusive on set.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Anyway, he says he is bipolar.
- 57:23Speaker 3: Oh, there you go. He's back on the show.
- 57:25Speaker 2: No, he's not going to come back on the show
- 57:27Speaker 2: because they killed him off.
- 57:29Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 57:29Speaker 2: His character died.
- 57:30Speaker 3: That 70s show.
- 57:31Speaker 2: What's it called? No, no, Goldberg.
- 57:32Speaker 3: Goldberg, okay.
- 57:33Speaker 2: But, you know, of course, people are like, oh, now,
- 57:35Speaker 2: you know, it's always you're bipolar if you're an asshole.
- 57:39Speaker 2: You could just be an entitled asshole. It doesn't mean
- 57:41Speaker 2: necessarily bipolar, but apparently someone said he is bipolar. Ben
- 57:45Speaker 2: Affleck and Matt Damon are teasing a new adventure together.
- 57:53Speaker 5: Oh, good.
- 57:53Speaker 2: They're starting something together.
- 57:56Speaker 3: You think they're really friends or is this, once again,
- 57:59Speaker 3: like Hollywood kind of made up?
- 58:01Speaker 2: They're totally friends.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah.
- 58:03Speaker 2: They wrote the movie that they.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Sold to Weinstein. That's what they wanted. What was it called?
- 58:09Speaker 3: Good Will Hunting.
- 58:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Great movie. Great movie.
- 58:14Speaker 2: I can't believe you're not going to guess what this is.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Oh, what they're doing?
- 58:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:18Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Podcast.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Oh, you're right. Just kidding.
- 58:23Speaker 2: No, it's a film. It's a production company. But I
- 58:25Speaker 2: bet part of the production company will be a podcast element.
- 58:28Speaker 3: Yeah, podcast element. Yeah, sure.
- 58:29Speaker 4: Sure.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Drew Barrymore, she has a podcast and she says that
- 58:35Speaker 2: she is boring and she doesn't have the energy for
- 58:39Speaker 2: a wild sex life. The actress opened up on her.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Well, of course. Who wants to have wild sex with
- 58:43Speaker 3: Drew Barrymore? You know what I mean?
- 58:45Speaker 2: Well, again, she was somebody I think that was very sexual.
- 58:49Speaker 2: She was married three times. She, you know, was at
- 58:52Speaker 2: Studio 54 at nine.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a long time ago.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I'm just saying, sometimes I think when you've like sowed
- 58:57Speaker 2: your wild oats and then you're just like, no, I'm like,
- 59:00Speaker 2: I'm not desiring it. It doesn't mean she never will,
- 59:04Speaker 2: but I think she's just being honest. And she's like, no,
- 59:06Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm I'm happy. I've got my daughters. I
- 59:09Speaker 2: like to cook. I like to make soup. I think
- 59:13Speaker 2: that's it.
- 59:13Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, I think this, I'll just say this.
- 59:17Speaker 3: I think this is more of a normal way to
- 59:20Speaker 3: be Drew Barrymore than like a, like those guys we
- 59:24Speaker 3: just mentioned, the Bill Richardson's and the, and the, Like
- 59:28Speaker 3: Harvey Weinstein. It's like if you're really sexual at 65,
- 59:32Speaker 3: I think that's more fucked up than.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Well, of course.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that eventually you got to just be like, ooh,
- 59:39Speaker 3: take a break.
- 59:40Speaker 2: Yeah. But I mean, you know, I think she's just
- 59:42Speaker 2: being really honest.
- 59:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:44Speaker 3: No, I'm all for it. I prefer the honesty.
- 59:45Speaker 2: Not everybody's sexual. I like it. But who is sexual?
- 59:48Speaker 3: Cher. Yes.
- 59:49Speaker 2: 76, still getting it. With Amber Rose's ex. They're still dating.
- 59:55Speaker 2: This is a new one. They just were seen. They
- 59:58Speaker 2: hung out at her place in Malibu. She's selling her
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: house in Malibu for $ 85 million.
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: I know. She's been like the queen of Malibu for
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: a long time.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: But they've been hanging out there.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: But what about... What is he? What does he do? Like,
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: is he just Amber Rose's ex? What does he do?
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: He's like in music, I think.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: Football players?
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: No, he's in music.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: Um... This kid was– lost his– he was one of
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: the best high school football players in the country. And
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: he had his Florida scholarship offer pulled for football this weekend.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Why? Guess.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: Because you don't know.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: I don't know. Wait. He was– he's trans.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: No, they wouldn't– then that would be fine if he
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: was trans.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: No, he– He was singing a rap song, filming himself,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: and he said the N-word and he posted it. Okay.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: And that's it. So I was telling Annie when we
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: were writing White Chicks that there's a famous part in
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: White Chicks when it's Sean and Marlon as the white
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: girls and Busy Phillips and the two other girls. They're
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: all in the car going shopping to come see me.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Cause I'm the girl that works at the shop.
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: And they're listening to a song and, um, with the
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: N word in it. And so Sean and Marlon know
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: the song. They forget that they're supposed to be white
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: girls and they say the word and the three other
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: girls are like, Oh my God, girls, you can't say that.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: You can't say. And then Sean and Marlon are like, well,
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: not if it's okay. If no one's around.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: And they're like, it is. And then they all get
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: excited and they sing it, but that's in the movie. Yeah.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Saying it.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: Different times.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: But I will say, if this kid is doing this
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: in 2022, he is too dumb to go to college.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: So forget about being a good football player. Yeah. Like how,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: doesn't every white kid know at this point.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: Not to TikTok that.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Not to film yourself.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Not to do it at all.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: Even if you're alone in your room. And not to
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: TikTok it or Twitter it or whatever or post it.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: How does someone.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: I think you're right.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: So he got it taken away.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: Well, again.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: And then speaking of college, John Stamos said, I'm going
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: to say this. And she said, I could. She wasn't
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: really the architect of any of it. She was in
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: the way background about his good friend, Lori Loughlin.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Oh, well, good. Oh, you mean of the USC thing?
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Of the USC thing. Yeah. Of paying the guy $ 500, 000
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: to get their kid, their two daughters into school.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: She was in the way background of what? Meaning she-
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: The fake rowing pictures? I mean- There were actual pictures, right?
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Some people were like, shut up, John Stamos. Just why
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: are you bringing it up?
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: Like he was a guest on Dax Shepard's show and
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: it's like, don't even bring it up.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: He also said on that show that he said he
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: had met Bob Saget like a couple of months before
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: for dinner.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: And he said that Bob Saget was acting strange. He
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: said that he, for the first time, had seen... He
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: didn't say strange. He said that he seemed happy and
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: like comfortable with himself. The first time, like, he made
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: it seem to lead on that he knew he was
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: not going to see him again. Yeah. Yeah. Like, he
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: knew that it was coming. With Saget's death. Right. Which
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: I thought was interesting.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: I think you can think that what she did, the crime,
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: was not that bad.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Because he's like, you know, some of that money did,
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: you know, she thought that money was going towards a
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: charity for the school.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: You know, so whatever.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: But she still knew she was paying to get her
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: kid into school. Oh, yeah. Whether it was– because the
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: kid had like a 3-2. So there was no way
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: the kid– so it's like someone can think she's not
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: a bad person and that she used her money to
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: make her daughter happy. Right. And that she wasn't thinking
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: it through. I'm actually taking this spot away from someone
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: who– I don't.
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Think anybody thought that. Yeah. It's just like one of
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: those things where, yeah, this is what people do.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: This is what everybody's doing.
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: My kid's an idiot. I got a couple of bucks.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: We're going to circumvent some shit. I mean, that's... Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: And we're making a sacrifice. We're paying so that maybe
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: somebody else can go.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: But the people that really... I always said this was
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: the worst white-on-white crime ever because the people that got
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: screwed wasn't like a child of color who was a
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: scholarship kid because that was not... It was like someone
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: that had like a 4-1... Right.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: That could have made it if there was a few
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: more spots. And they were already a good student and
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: they were probably going to have to pay full price anyway.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: But they didn't get it because this person had $ 500, 000.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: When that went down, I was just like, yeah, is
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: this what people do? I mean, I wasn't that shocked
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: by it. I was shocked.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I was shocked. But now that my kids are older
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: and I've been through the process, I have a little
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: more sympathy for people that want to write a check
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: because it is a fucking nightmare. And it's impossible to
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: get your kid in as a freshman.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Anyway, Princess Diana, this woman is 6'3, playing her, and
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: I'm freaked out how tall she is on The Crown.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: It was very exciting for me to go home and
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: tell my wife. My wife loves The Crown, and I
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: learned that on your live Juicy Scoops that that woman
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: is 6'3. I told my wife. My wife was shocked.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: So she immediately began Googling, and we did a deep dive.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: And she works for Netflix.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. I knew more. Yes, we did a deep dive.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: But then, of course— The guy playing Prince Charles at
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: the time is Dominic West. And he... Well, from my
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: favorite show, The Affair, I tell you guys, watch The Affair,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: just season one and two.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: First couple seasons, yeah.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: After that, it sucks. But it's so fucking juicy.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: It is good.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: And he's so hot in it. And they do give
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: him his... give him that dorky hairdo of Prince Charles
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: where it's like parted way on one side.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: And he does really get his mannerisms down, but he's
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: still so much.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: Well, I think he's English in real life, Dominic West.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: So it's probably not much of a stretch for him.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: But there's still, he's still so cute.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: He was in the movie with Sandra Bullock 28 days.
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: He was the drunk boyfriend. That's another one of those
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: movies that I love the beginning. Love it. And then
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: the minute she gets to rehab, I like turn it
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: off or switch over.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: There's certain movies.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: I like movie.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Yeah. We talked about her stupid podcast.
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: Adele crying and crying throughout her performance.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Yeah. She's back in Vegas. Yep.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: She made it.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: She did stop there for a while and was supposed
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: to remember everyone. That was the first ticket thing. Everyone
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: had tickets to her show, her residency, and she just
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: quit and everyone was pissed off. Now she's back.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: I love her. I saw her once in concert. long
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: time ago. Like, I didn't even, I only knew one
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: of her songs.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: But I loved every single song. I saw her at
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: the Beacon Theater in New York.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: I don't know if I'll ever be able to get,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: I mean, are these tickets like another like 30,000?
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: Well, she's doing a residency, which is kind of the
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: way to go now. Like, why wouldn't you, like Elton
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: John just did his final show last night at Dodger Stadium.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: And they're like, that's it, Elton John's done touring. He
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: made this whole speech about it. And then last night
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: he's like, I said I was done touring. I didn't
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: say I wouldn't do a residency in the same place.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: So where's the residency going to be?
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: He didn't say yet.
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: He had one at Caesars way back. We saw him
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: at Caesars.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: I've seen at Caesars residency. I've seen Mariah Carey. I've
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: seen Celine Dion and I've seen Elton John.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, that's the way to go now.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: You come to me. I'm going to try to see
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Adele there.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: Yeah. What is that like?
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: This is a skirt. With a G-string, like a G-string
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: on the back. So it's a skirt to the knee
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: and then just full ass cheeks out. Full ass cheek.
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: Just wanted you to know that's what people are wearing.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Okay, good for you.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: I wanted people to know for the holidays that charcuterie
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: chalets are here. They're gingerbread houses, but made with, I
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: think this is honestly the cutest thing.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: So you, like, it has little broccoli trees. Has like
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: little wasabi nuts walking up to the thing. And so
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: like you can, I guess you could take giant crackers.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Oh, they're all wasabi nuts. They're little rocks of wasabi nuts.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Yeah. I guess you do. Yeah. So you get the gingerbread,
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: whatever the house part, but you do it with crackers.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: And then you can cover all that, spread it in
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: white cheese.
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: The roof is salami of some sort. Yeah. Like a
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: hard salami.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: I think this is like, and you like have little
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: nuts and stuff, like a walkway of nuts. Look, you
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: said there was a little snowman.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: The snowman's wearing a prosciutto scarf. He's got a salami
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: scarf on. That's very clever.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: That must be like little chunks of goat cheese probably
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: is the snowman. Anyway, it looks cute for the holidays.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: It is cute, yeah.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Oh, Heidi and Spencer had their second baby, Juicy Scoop family.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: So now the boy is named Riker and the older
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: brother is Gunner. So congrats.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: I sent him a congrats. and he wrote me right back.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Good. He loves you. He's going to come to the
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: Christmas dinner.
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: Two old dads.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: Yeah, he's going to come to the Christmas dinner. Not
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: Heidi won't leave.
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: She'll be with the baby.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: But he's coming to the Juicy Scoop Christmas dinner. JoJo
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: Siwa doesn't think she'll ever speak to Candace Cameron Burr again.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Oh, were they friends?
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Because she is doing the, there's so, one thing I
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: will say about this whole thing to let people up
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: to date. Candice is doing something like the Hallmark Channel,
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: but it's just, what is it called? Can you look
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: up what, it's a new channel that is really what
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: she says, she calls it traditional shows that highlight and
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: only will feature traditional marriage.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Marriages.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Which really is heterosexual marriage is what she's saying.
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: Okay? And so.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: It's all her shows or just Christmas movies?
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: No, it's not Christmas movies.
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: It's like a whole network.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: Great American Family Christmas.
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Oh, Christmas? Oh, it's called Great American... I thought it
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: was just Christmas movies. Okay, Great American Family Christmas. Yeah.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: But I thought it was a whole network of stuff.
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: Great American Family. Oh, it's called Great American Family. Okay.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: Which has been.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: This has been the greatest press for... Because whoever knew
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: it existed.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Yeah, no kidding.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: And, you know, there was... Remember when there used to
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: be a network called PAX?
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: PAX.
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: Still around, I think.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: That was like religiously leaning. That was like religious Christian stuff.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: And so anyway, she just said, hey, this is what
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: I'm doing. And people got very angry with her, thought
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: that she was a hypocrite because in the past they
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: have accused her of not supporting gays. And she said, no,
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: I do. And they're like, well, no, you don't because
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: you're doing a show that won't show gays. any gay
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: couples yeah and so jojo just is like some people
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: feel the outrage is not fair like.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: The outrage if she wants to have her channel let
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: her channel.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Like yeah if she wants to work on that and
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: if people want to watch that network then why can't
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: they watch it.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: I mean i'm almost in that camp a little bit
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: i am too like a million channels.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: I kind of feel the same way i'm like you
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: know BET has been around forever, and that was because
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: people felt they were not being able to see enough
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: of themselves on regular TV. So they created a channel
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: that would highlight black Americans and their stories. And that's
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: always been fine. People felt there weren't enough sports on TV.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: They created ESPN. I don't watch that. I don't care
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: about ESPN. Yes.
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: So I'm kind of like.
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: And she's also like, I mean, she's... She never... She's
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: like a religious person.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: She always was that. It's not like she wasn't. We
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: always knew this was an issue. This was always something
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: she had to defend.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: Yeah, she's of the Cameron. She's Kirk Cameron's sister.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: And but I do.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: They're all like wacky religious people, right?
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Right. But I'm saying like, okay, so now let's say this, okay?
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: Now you're an actress.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: Uh-huh.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: You're just trying to pay the bills. And you get
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: offered to be in a movie. It's going to get
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: you your SAG insurance for your family of five, but
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: it's on this network. And it's just some dorky movie
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: about a family that goes on a vacation, but it's
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: a man and a woman. And there's maybe some traditional
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: religious themes. Now, as an actress that takes that role,
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: are you going to be persecuted by people? Because you're
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: actually on a network that is excluding any gay storylines.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: They won't feature any movies or whatever on this channel
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: that features gay couples.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, it's interesting that she even had to say
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: it because, I mean, up until 10 years ago, every
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: network was not doing it. That's the way every network was.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: I mean, it's a little more open now, thankfully, but
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: it certainly wasn't.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Listen, GLAAD... That's what it stands for.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Gay and lesbian.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: Anti-defamation. Right. Yeah.
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: But it was, there'd be the GLAAD Awards.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: And the GLAAD Awards was, we're going to, the GLAAD
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: fought to have gay and lesbian and now queer and every,
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: you know, people featured on regular TV and in commercials.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: And they have done their job.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: You don't got.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: To tell me. I hosted the GLAAD Awards.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: They have done their, but I'm saying there's, there's a
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: lot of that. But then somebody would say, yes, but
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: by now having some place where you don't have to
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: see it, that's not good that that even exists.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Right. Yeah, I know. This is a tough one because
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: you don't want to be like the assholes.
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: I just think like.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: But I agree with.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: And I also just think like that whatever this network is,
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: is going to employ a lot of people. We have
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: a friend that you said was writing a script for
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: like a Christian network.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Yeah, he writes a lot of them, actually.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: But it doesn't mean that he doesn't have gay friends
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: or support gay marriage.
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: No, as a matter of fact, yeah. They just have, yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: just the checks are coming.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: The checks are coming and they're simple to write and
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: this is the parameter. And like, I mean, if we can,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: if you can see the movie Bros.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: I didn't see it, but.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Well, if you can have bros, then why can't you have.
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: I got nothing against it. I'll see it.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: But anyway, JoJo's going to probably hate me too, just
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: that I said, I'm not going to watch this dorky
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: thing because I'm not into dorky stuff. And I like
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: gay-themed stuff more than I like straight things. There'll never
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: be a time.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: When I turn on... But I just really believe people
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: can have it. I could boldly say there will never
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: be a time when I turn on the American Family Channel.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: I won't either because I watched... Falling for Christmas. I
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: made you watch it. It's Lindsay Lohan's show. And it
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: was some of the worst acting I've ever seen.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Well, yes. All of that. And these are like, we
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: all know the kind of cadence of these.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: And you were like saying, you didn't.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Think it would go.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: Full Hallmark-y kind of acting.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: It was full Hallmark. But what I will say that
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: was funny about the movie Bros is that they made
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: fun of the fact that there was a network like Hallmark.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: In the movie that was now having gay-themed movies, which
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: now Hallmark, I do believe, features some gay romances.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: There is some, yeah.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: So I'm watching this, and I'm like, I can't believe
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: that this was full Hallmark. Like, it was so dorky.
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: It was so not funny.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Because it was on Netflix.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: But it was on Netflix. It was so not funny.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: And then, so, in a nutshell, I'm going to go
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: through it quick. But, like, she is an heiress of,
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: you know, not an heiress, but she has a big
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: fancy hotel with her dad.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: She hits her head when she's out with her fiancé.
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: He just asked her to marry him.
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: Skiing, yeah.
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: They both are missing for a while. She ends up
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: going to the smaller lodge, doesn't know who she is,
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: has amnesia, and gets to meet him. And then, of course,
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: they fall in love.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: So I'm watching the whole thing, and... You did say
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: something funny in the live, though, about amnesia.
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: It is.
- 1:16:01Speaker 3: I mean, I said in the live that amnesia has
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: been a crutch that Hollywood has used now for 100 years.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: And it's supported the entire soap opera industry. And yet,
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: I've never met anyone with amnesia. Like, nobody knows anybody
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: who's ever had amnesia. Like, it is.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: I think it's kind of a, like, Loch Ness Monster.
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: We all heard about it, but nobody's actually seen it.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: I know. And you always kind of wonder what. Yeah,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: I always wanted to. And even when I fell, I
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: didn't get amnesia.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you didn't even forget things.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: But this couple, we talked about, I think they were
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: just extras and then they had a big part, but
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: it was like this couple that just kept showing up.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: And then Annie just brought up how young the guy looks. Yeah.
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: He looks like he's like... He's younger in the next picture.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: Yeah, so anyway. Yeah, it's real. I'm going to close
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: this out because the show's been long. And then she
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: tried to make a bed and they tried to make
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: it all funny. That was all the funny, dumb stuff.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: But they fall in love And then at the end,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: I'm just ruining it, you guys. I'm ruining it. If
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: you want to skip ahead, I'm sure you were dying
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: to watch this movie. But he's like, I inherited this lodge.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Do you realize they inherited the lodge?
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Like someone gave it to him and his wife and
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: then the wife died. But not enough people were going there.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: And so then the whole town comes together and brings
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: their checkbooks to the Christmas Eve party.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: So they keep the lodge open.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: Then they all write him checks.
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: So stupid. But then, you know, she realizes... all of
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: a sudden her memory comes back when she sees her
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: fiance and her dad, but she does also realize I
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: don't want to be with his fiance. So she gives
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: him back his ring. And then he looks at the
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: guy who runs the hotel and they do end up together.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: So the whole movie was, could have been a Candace
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Cameron until the very end when he like, leans in
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: and you realize they're going off into the sunset together,
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: him and this guy where he didn't, they had no
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: chemistry throughout the whole thing. There was no foreshadowing. There
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: was foreshadowing that this guy might be gay. There was
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: no foreshadowing that they would get together. And I almost
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: feel like that was like something they decided at the
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: last minute of writing this script.
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: I feel like when you get like, these movies have
- 1:18:11Speaker 3: to be shot so quickly. They got to like, and
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: I believe they were like so excited to get Lindsay
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: Lohan in this. Lindsay Lohan's like, I'll give you two
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: weeks yes you gotta get it and they're like okay
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: no problem you get one to everybody gets one take
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: yeah go go go go go lindsey lohan blah blah
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: we gotta get her out of here and that's they
- 1:18:29Speaker 3: you know that's why it looks like like this and
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: there's no they couldn't develop through this um relationship beforehand
- 1:18:36Speaker 3: because there's no.
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Time oh and you know what they did at the
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: very end of the movie what they did the blooper
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: reel Oh, they did? Yeah, like they had so much
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: fun filming it.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: And even the blooper reel was not funny.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Yeah, like, yeah. It was like, what?
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: Oh, beep, beep. And then the crowd.
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: Yeah, and a couple of grips who were just trying
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: to keep their job. Like, if I could laugh at
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: Lindsay Lohan. Oh, boy.
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: Chris, thank you for joining me.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: Thank you very much.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: For my shows this past weekend.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: Had a great time.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: The two shows this week. Yes. Happy Thanksgiving.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Tell everybody where they can see you again. Live.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Charlotte.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: What's the date?
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: Comedy Zone. December. Hold on. Can I get my calendar up?
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Well, I can tell you where you can find his calendar.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: It's Franjola.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: Franjola.fun. Charlotte's Wednesday, the 30th of November. Atlanta Punchline is Tuesday,
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: the 1st of December. Atlanta Punchline.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Fun.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Fun. Then New Orleans. I'm playing a play. It's on Franjola.fun,
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: the place I'm playing in in New Orleans. And then
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: I'm playing the Alabama Black Box in Mobile, Alabama on
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: the 3rd of Saturday night.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: And are you going all in one? You're going from Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday?
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: And how are you getting to all the places?
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: I don't want to tell you.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: No, please tell me.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: I'm not telling you how I'm getting from New Orleans
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: to Mobile, Alabama.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: Can you please tell me? Please. I beg of you.
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: I'm taking a Greyhound bus. First time I've ever taken
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: a Greyhound bus. I've never taken a Greyhound bus.
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: Because otherwise it doesn't make sense.
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: There's no flight. From getting from New Orleans to Mobile,
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: it's a weird, it's like 12-hour flight.
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: How long is the bus ride?
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Two and a half hours. I bought my ticket already.
- 1:20:14Speaker 3: $ 35 on the bus.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: And you'd rather do that than rent a car?
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: Well, the rent the car was like crazy. It was crazy.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Crazy expensive?
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: Crazy expensive. And I'm doing door deals, so, like, it
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: just comes out of my pocket, everything.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: So, I know, yeah, I'm doing Greyhound. Have you ever
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: done Greyhound?
- 1:20:35Speaker 2: No. I've never been on... No, I've never done a
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: Greyhound thing. I've been on a bus, like, in college, like,
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: going to... I think I took a bus from L.A.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: for the Greek Ski Week at Heavenly in Lake Tahoe,
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: and it broke down in Gordon.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: This is what everybody... It.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: Broke down all night. And so we were all just drinking.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: So wait, how long? That's a long bus ride.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: It was long. And then we were broken down for
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: like six hours. We're only like two hours into the
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: drive and then we broke down all night long. And
- 1:21:08Speaker 2: then we fought like the Greek ski trip.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh my God.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: I remember just drinking so much because we had nothing
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: else to do on that bus.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: And then having to pee and we already like lost
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: a whole day. That was the last time I.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: Was on a bus. Well, if anybody comes to see
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: me at the Howling Wolf in New Orleans, this will
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: probably be the Howling Wolf, New Orleans. And then I'm
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: going to the.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: Now, what if somebody comes forward?
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: And says, I'll drive you versus the Greyhound. Would you
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: still rather do the Greyhound?
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: I'd have to get like the person who drove us in.
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: I'd have to get like the video that they're normal.
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: And I would absolutely... I can't believe somebody hasn't yet.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: It's so funny when people are like, oh, I guess
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: they weren't a psycho or whatever. I'm like, First of all,
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: there's three of us in one of them. But in
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: your case, it would just be one person in you.
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: One in one. That's definitely murder.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: But chances are that a woman... What if it was like...
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: I mean, what if it was like a Kathy Bates?
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: And then she drugs you. And then you wake up.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: I mean, just... The greatest movie, first of all.
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: The best.
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: Misery is the greatest movie. It's so... I remember how
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: scary that movie was just because it's not... like shocking scary,
- 1:22:16Speaker 3: but like terrifying.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: Yeah. But I mean, I, we, we came up with
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: the scenario. Was it, were you with me when we
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: talked about like where if a juicy scooper got me
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: and they were just like, kept putting like a microphone
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: in front of me.
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Make you do it.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Yeah. And make you do like impressions and look what
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: I brought you Heather. And it's like a bunch of
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: like tabloid magazines. Just look through it and start talking
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: about it.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: And in misery, they need a sledgehammer to break his ankles.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: They could break your little ankles with a, you know,
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: with just a little tap hammer. Yeah. That scene where
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: they broke James Caan's ankles. Oh, my God. I can't
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: even watch it now.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. I can't even. Oh, my God. All right, Chris.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: I love you. Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving.
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: for it?
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: They have more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch.
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: What's it called?
- 1:23:12Speaker 2: It's Dune ADL. Where? Dune ADL. Dune ADL?
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: There's an accent on the E.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: Do you mean... Yes, I got it on Done Deal Cars. Lift? Please.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: Are you going past Kimmage? Oh, Kimmage! No. Done Deal Cars.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
