- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:07Speaker 2: This is an exciting episode of the Almost Famous podcast.
- 0:09Speaker 2: You know why, Ashley, I do know why because.
- 0:13Speaker 3: It is our first time recapping Bachelor in Paradise this season.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Goodness gracious, are we excited for this? I mean, if
- 0:21Speaker 2: you want to get me fired up, you let me
- 0:23Speaker 2: watch Bachelor and Paradise and Golden Bachelor in the same
- 0:27Speaker 2: week on the same day, and you're gonna make me
- 0:30Speaker 2: happy because I think both these shows are hits.
- 0:33Speaker 3: They're so fun. I got our screener right and it
- 0:37Speaker 3: said like.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Golden Bachelor ready to watch now, Bachelor in Paradise is
- 0:40Speaker 4: ready to watch now. Now. I know we're recording this
- 0:42Speaker 4: one first, so I had to watch this one first.
- 0:44Speaker 4: But I am dying of curiosity to see what the
- 0:46Speaker 4: other one's like. But let's let's talk about Bachelor and
- 0:48Speaker 4: Paradise because it lived up.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I enjoyed it.
- 0:51Speaker 4: I was captivated through and through, as I normally am
- 0:55Speaker 4: with Bachelor and Paradise. They had a fun little bit
- 0:59Speaker 4: in the beginning where they use an other old Schools song,
- 1:02Speaker 4: what a Feeling Right? And I was like, oh my gosh,
- 1:05Speaker 4: is this gonna be like the new intro song. We
- 1:08Speaker 4: can't not have an intro. We can't not use almost Paradise, right, Yeah,
- 1:13Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:14Speaker 3: I think that that's just it's just another.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Almost Paradise, probably up their price a little bit to you.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Yeah, they're like, you guys are using an abusing whoever
- 1:22Speaker 4: wrote that song. Well, I'm sure we'll get that at
- 1:26Speaker 4: the beginning of next episode. Because this episode was all
- 1:28Speaker 4: about the introductions as usual.
- 1:31Speaker 3: The first hour is pretty much all.
- 1:32Speaker 4: About just like the meeting and mingling and the reintroductions
- 1:35Speaker 4: from the seasons. I guess nobody from this is obviously
- 1:39Speaker 4: a surprise, but I will say that once we kind
- 1:43Speaker 4: of got to see the cast, I was like, Okay,
- 1:46Speaker 4: now I'm placing them. I'm not, I'm placing them now.
- 1:49Speaker 4: I like kind of remembered everybody's storyline from the previous
- 1:51Speaker 4: season what about you.
- 1:53Speaker 2: The shocker for me was is Blake being there, which
- 1:57Speaker 2: we've known, but like, it's just a surprising to see
- 2:01Speaker 2: him on the beach. Obviously, Rachel being there was not
- 2:04Speaker 2: a shocker. It's just gonna be an interesting dynamic. I
- 2:08Speaker 2: think if any bachelorette were to go back to the
- 2:12Speaker 2: beach and kind of be you know, well's talked about it,
- 2:17Speaker 2: like a lot of times the leads come if they
- 2:19Speaker 2: come back on the show, kind of have this like
- 2:22Speaker 2: leadership mentality where they care for everybody else but not themselves,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and they're a little bit like just above you know,
- 2:30Speaker 2: you know, the other people because they were a lead
- 2:32Speaker 2: at one point. I don't think Rachel's gonna be that way.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I think she'll dive in. I think she'll make great TV.
- 2:39Speaker 2: And I think she is really there because she hasn't
- 2:43Speaker 2: had the easiest of times dating in public, and so
- 2:48Speaker 2: she's like, why not, you know, why not do this?
- 2:50Speaker 2: The other person I didn't know but obviously makes a
- 2:53Speaker 2: big splash in episode one is Mercedes. I didn't remember
- 2:57Speaker 2: her from the season. I don't remember a lot from
- 3:01Speaker 2: Zach season honestly, but Mercedes obviously made a big splash
- 3:05Speaker 2: right away, and her commentary is fantastic. At least, you know,
- 3:11Speaker 2: in episode one, I feel like she's somebody that I
- 3:13Speaker 2: just want to watch because she has a little bit
- 3:15Speaker 2: of the like, the not like the edge and the sarcasm,
- 3:19Speaker 2: but then she's obviously very sweet and there for the
- 3:23Speaker 2: right reasons, but like she can hold her own when
- 3:25Speaker 2: it comes to an argument, you can tell.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Well, see I felt that about Olivia. She was she
- 3:32Speaker 3: was somebody I don't remember whatsoever.
- 3:34Speaker 4: And which Sorry, but she's definitely coming in hot this season.
- 3:40Speaker 4: And then Kylie, who I do remember from Zach Seuism.
- 3:44Speaker 4: I think she's going to be a very prominent character.
- 3:47Speaker 4: She's sweet, and she's obviously going to go head to
- 3:49Speaker 4: head with Olivia over especially the next few weeks. Other
- 3:53Speaker 4: people that I was like, oh, okay, this is going
- 3:56Speaker 4: to be a storyline. Well, Rachel being first sand is
- 4:02Speaker 4: worth mentioning. They had to give her that respect of
- 4:05Speaker 4: the former bachelorette coming in and being the first one
- 4:07Speaker 4: down the beach. That's what Becca got, I believe, And
- 4:10Speaker 4: I think, you know, it's like their way to appease
- 4:14Speaker 4: a former lead coming back on a big cast show.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Ash Let me ask you this because we've we've touched
- 4:20Speaker 2: on it a few times in the past, but I
- 4:22Speaker 2: think it's always a good reminder. Why is it so
- 4:24Speaker 2: important to be there on week one, like to make
- 4:27Speaker 2: the initial entrance.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Well, it's easier to pair up, I'd say it's probably
- 4:35Speaker 4: easier to stay long term if you start there, because
- 4:39Speaker 4: like you just bond really much more easily. When it's
- 4:43Speaker 4: everybody going in at once, you know, you're kind of
- 4:46Speaker 4: on an even playing field, and it's it always feels
- 4:48Speaker 4: like more of a disadvantage to come in late because
- 4:50Speaker 4: people have already paired off, So you're you're going to
- 4:54Speaker 4: be less likely to even get like friendship roses. Yeah,
- 4:58Speaker 4: you're gonna be less likely to get friendship roses like
- 5:00Speaker 4: loyalty roses if you don't go in early.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Okay, second question to that, how does the friendship roses work?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Like?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Is that a secret conversation? Is it just the like
- 5:11Speaker 2: unspoken understanding? Is it frowned upon in paradise to get
- 5:15Speaker 2: a friendship rose?
- 5:18Speaker 4: No, I don't think it's frowned upon, And usually it's
- 5:20Speaker 4: like pretty well like mutually agreed upon, unless somebody is
- 5:23Speaker 4: leading the other person on and there's like actual like
- 5:25Speaker 4: physical intimacy.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Okay, So it's good to be there night one because
- 5:29Speaker 2: it's just easier to make the connections and then and
- 5:32Speaker 2: to make the friendships that are necessary for you to
- 5:34Speaker 2: be around long enough to maybe meet somebody that you
- 5:37Speaker 2: are into and that you want to build a relationship
- 5:42Speaker 2: with see. For me, if I was in Rachel's situation,
- 5:45Speaker 2: I'd be like, hey, I want to come in week
- 5:46Speaker 2: two and I want to be in Paradise for all
- 5:48Speaker 2: five four weeks, five weeks, however long it is. I
- 5:51Speaker 2: want to come in late. I want to see what's
- 5:53Speaker 2: going on, and then I want to bounce, like if
- 5:58Speaker 2: it's not working, I'm good with it.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Not no, because you don't want to tear up relationships.
- 6:02Speaker 4: You don't want to go in that you're with that,
- 6:05Speaker 4: you want who's on your list to be with somebody. Okay, no, No,
- 6:09Speaker 4: you're just going in on a second or third week.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Is just like you becoming part of a love triangle
- 6:15Speaker 4: almost most likely.
- 6:16Speaker 2: And those are never fun. We've known because the.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Catches are usually kind of taken. But speaking of catches,
- 6:21Speaker 4: that is what I wanted to mention, isn't it rude?
- 6:23Speaker 3: It's always like this on Paradise.
- 6:25Speaker 4: I feel like, but like the girls are just like
- 6:27Speaker 4: so much prettier and like so much more catches than
- 6:29Speaker 4: the guys are. Like every season, I'm like, I would
- 6:32Speaker 4: date every one of these girls, but like the guys,
- 6:35Speaker 4: you'd have to convince me to go on a date
- 6:36Speaker 4: with like pretty much every one of them.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and the girls, I mean, especially this season, I think,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and probably seasons of the past. Uh, the girls are
- 6:45Speaker 2: so so much more outspoken and communicative and they just
- 6:51Speaker 2: have like a lot more like swagger when it comes
- 6:54Speaker 2: to how they talk to the guys. The guys say
- 6:56Speaker 2: the most awkward things. I mean, at every conversation, I'm
- 6:59Speaker 2: covering my because some dude says something so awkward and
- 7:03Speaker 2: just like cringey, and the girls are always so like
- 7:06Speaker 2: chill and just good at like communicating with these guys.
- 7:10Speaker 2: It does feel that way to me. I will say this,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and this was in my notes. I think I say
- 7:15Speaker 2: it every year. I just and I was talking to
- 7:18Speaker 2: Jess about it, like how do they find so many
- 7:20Speaker 2: dudes with so many apps? Like what is going on
- 7:23Speaker 2: here that these guys are not much younger than me.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I work out every day of my life. I'm in
- 7:28Speaker 2: fine shape. I feel fine about myself. I feel great
- 7:31Speaker 2: about myself. I mean, I'm not ripping my shirt off
- 7:33Speaker 2: in public so that I because I don't think people
- 7:35Speaker 2: are gonna be like whoa, but like I'm good. But
- 7:38Speaker 2: these dudes, every single one of them, are just absolutely
- 7:44Speaker 2: massively Jack, Like what is going on? Ben?
- 7:48Speaker 3: Like you got a six back at one point?
- 7:50Speaker 4: Sure, I think that like it all, it's just all
- 7:52Speaker 4: about your priorities.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Okay, so that's just like the.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Priority is like finding someone and you and you're finding
- 8:00Speaker 4: somebody on TV. So your main priority and leading up
- 8:02Speaker 4: to the show is working out looking good.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Okay, that's what Jessica said. She says, you have to
- 8:07Speaker 2: understand that for the last three months of their life,
- 8:10Speaker 2: they've dieted, they've consumed so much protein, and they've spent
- 8:14Speaker 2: all day in the gym just preparing for these moments.
- 8:17Speaker 2: And I was like, that makes more sense. Okay, I
- 8:18Speaker 2: don't do that right with my life. I work out
- 8:22Speaker 2: every day for about an hour, let's say, and then
- 8:25Speaker 2: I don't come home and chug like a protein shake
- 8:27Speaker 2: and then I don't think about what I eat. Okay,
- 8:29Speaker 2: that makes more sense. But these yeah, they're all pretty jacked.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Every I mean, everybody's looking good on the beach. It's
- 8:35Speaker 2: a very good looking group of people. I would say
- 8:38Speaker 2: in general, I think that's what for me as I
- 8:43Speaker 2: watch this, like Paradise would be so difficult to be
- 8:47Speaker 2: a part of because there's so many beautiful options available
- 8:53Speaker 2: on the beach, at least from week one, Like when
- 8:56Speaker 2: nobody's coupled up. I think from week one it would
- 8:59Speaker 2: be really hard to be like, yeah, I'm into you
- 9:00Speaker 2: the most. It's like, how do you know everybody's good looking?
- 9:04Speaker 3: That brought up a couple thoughts.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Okay, well, first off, everybody thought that you looked so
- 9:08Speaker 4: good in that Instagram reel that I posted of you
- 9:11Speaker 4: in Mountain.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Cheek, so I should wear a suit and a cowboy
- 9:15Speaker 2: hat Cowboys of the Beach.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yes, everybody was like, oh my god, Ben, you can
- 9:20Speaker 4: go get.
- 9:20Speaker 3: A little a little ego boost if you want to go.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Read the comments under.
- 9:24Speaker 4: That real Well no, because I had a like, no,
- 9:27Speaker 4: I don't have to because I got a lot of
- 9:29Speaker 4: messages this league saying this is my look.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Well, or the comment being like he looks so different,
- 9:34Speaker 2: he looked so handsome. That was one of the comments.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Top Yeah I was. I was like, dang, all right,
- 9:42Speaker 2: cool okay.
- 9:42Speaker 4: So my other thought was that Eliza, she's always been beautiful,
- 9:46Speaker 4: but like came down and I remembered what a beauty
- 9:49Speaker 4: she was, and I was like, oh my.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Gosh, she looks so good. She was a surprise.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Definitely a surprised to see her come down there was
- 9:58Speaker 4: she not on the original cast list. If not, I
- 10:01Speaker 4: would I overlooked the fact that she has such a
- 10:03Speaker 4: big storyline last season between Justin and Rodney and then
- 10:07Speaker 4: Blake coming down. Oh my gosh, Blake looks so good.
- 10:11Speaker 4: He looks I think the best he's ever looked on
- 10:13Speaker 4: any of these shows. The way that his facial hair
- 10:15Speaker 4: is and the facial hair change up whatever that is.
- 10:19Speaker 4: It's like less of a billy goat look so good
- 10:21Speaker 4: for him. And then I'm usually not a fan of
- 10:24Speaker 4: a buzz cut, but the buzz cut looks so good
- 10:26Speaker 4: on him. If I was just looking at like the
- 10:29Speaker 4: guy casts, I'd be like, Okay, yeah, Blake definitely stands
- 10:32Speaker 4: out as being like one of the ones that probably
- 10:35Speaker 4: is going to be fought after more. However, he and
- 10:38Speaker 4: Jess really kick it off and hit it off, not
- 10:42Speaker 4: kick it off. They're kicking it off too. But I'm
- 10:45Speaker 4: thinking there's not a lot of buzz around him after
- 10:49Speaker 4: his entrance, and they show him in jests together kissing,
- 10:53Speaker 4: and I'm like, Okay, well, I wonder if these two
- 10:56Speaker 4: are just gonna be like smooth sailing because he doesn't
- 10:59Speaker 4: seem to have there There's not a lot of attention
- 11:02Speaker 4: on somebody who I think there would have been on
- 11:04Speaker 4: and maybe just be one of those couples that kind
- 11:06Speaker 4: of quietly go by.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I think with Blake what we've seen, Yes,
- 11:11Speaker 2: he has been on multiple Bachelor Atte seasons. One of
- 11:14Speaker 2: them was kind of one all tied into one. He
- 11:19Speaker 2: is somebody that probably falls hard, falls fast, and is
- 11:23Speaker 2: committed to whatever, you know, what is in front of
- 11:26Speaker 2: him or what he's most interested in. Like, we haven't
- 11:28Speaker 2: seen him, you know, we don't. We don't. I don't
- 11:33Speaker 2: get the like f boy vibes from Blake, ever, I
- 11:38Speaker 2: get very much like a romantic who just wants to
- 11:42Speaker 2: find love and he just sometimes makes really bad choices
- 11:46Speaker 2: in finding it. But I think he's probably a pretty
- 11:48Speaker 2: committed dude, and so I think it'd be hard for
- 11:50Speaker 2: him to imagine leaving Jess at this point once they've
- 11:55Speaker 2: already kind of formed their relationship. Do you agree with that?
- 12:00Speaker 3: Well?
- 12:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 4: The only thing that you know always like kind of
- 12:02Speaker 4: rubbed me the wrong way, which is why I gave
- 12:04Speaker 4: him a hard time, was because he was very crude.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Yes, and how he was very Oh yeah, yeah, that's true,
- 12:10Speaker 2: and it.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Made a lot of sense as to why he was
- 12:11Speaker 4: with Katie. Now I'm surprised at this coupling with jess
- 12:14Speaker 4: just because when she when she was on our podcast,
- 12:17Speaker 4: I was like, this girl seems so innocent, so sweet
- 12:19Speaker 4: and innocent and very religious. So I'm wondering, like if
- 12:23Speaker 4: this is just a physical attraction at this point, and
- 12:25Speaker 4: they have that they started to.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Talk about, Yeah, that's a good point that because at
- 12:31Speaker 2: some point that those obviously become massive conversations once you
- 12:36Speaker 2: get over the infatuation with looks and with you know,
- 12:39Speaker 2: she say she was kind of starstruck and all that.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Once that kind of fades, then you can start to
- 12:43Speaker 2: dive into Okay, who actually heart you as a human,
- 12:45Speaker 2: Like what are you about? What do you believe in?
- 12:47Speaker 2: What do you care about?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Yeah? Do you know what? I noticed?
- 12:50Speaker 4: It was something big on you know how Jessica. Jess
- 12:54Speaker 4: is just really known for her body glitter, and they
- 12:57Speaker 4: made like the little joke with having glitter around her
- 12:59Speaker 4: when she first came him down fake glitter, Like yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 4: post post editing glitter. Brayden had glitter, gold glitter all
- 13:09Speaker 4: over his chest in one scene and I was like,
- 13:12Speaker 4: oh my gosh, or did they have something that they
- 13:15Speaker 4: didn't clip in interesting?
- 13:17Speaker 2: Or I mean, could you also just see could you
- 13:19Speaker 2: also just see Braiden putting glitter on his chest?
- 13:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 13:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, Okay, I was gonna say, I mean that's
- 13:26Speaker 2: where my mind went, is like, this dude is just
- 13:28Speaker 2: all out going for everything. Okay, let's jump to Braiden
- 13:41Speaker 2: for a second. Break it. Yeah, Braiden was obviously a
- 13:44Speaker 2: big character coming off his season of The Bachelorette. Controversial character.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Can't really call him a villain, just probably more he
- 13:53Speaker 2: was just disliked. It felt like by the cast. There's
- 13:55Speaker 2: a lot of cast members that were with him on
- 13:59Speaker 2: that season, so there probably a little standoffish. I will
- 14:02Speaker 2: say that so far, Paradise suits Braiden a lot better
- 14:07Speaker 2: than The Bachelorette did. I just think it feels it
- 14:12Speaker 2: feels like his weird comments, like about bragging about making
- 14:17Speaker 2: out with the lead. It feels like his competitive nature.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It feels like his kind of goofiness can all be
- 14:23Speaker 2: hidden because he'll be in a relationship or he'll be
- 14:25Speaker 2: trying to date different people and it won't be unless
- 14:28Speaker 2: he enters into a love triangle, he just won't be
- 14:31Speaker 2: as controversial of a character. And that's always what we
- 14:34Speaker 2: hope for Paradise is that people they have the ability
- 14:38Speaker 2: to redeem themselves or have a redemption story. Now if
- 14:41Speaker 2: they take it or not, or if they're the you know,
- 14:44Speaker 2: if they prove to us that there ass likable because
- 14:48Speaker 2: what we think they might be, which Braiden always kind
- 14:50Speaker 2: of towed that line, then Paradise is a good place
- 14:54Speaker 2: to get your redemption story told. Some have not, you know,
- 14:58Speaker 2: some have proven to be the same person they were
- 15:00Speaker 2: the seasons before, but others have like the Thomas Jacobs
- 15:04Speaker 2: of the world. I mean, talk about a glow up.
- 15:07Speaker 4: I know, Bryden reminded me so much, and I think
- 15:11Speaker 4: he might be with me on here of Dean in Paradise. Sure,
- 15:16Speaker 4: the way that he sat with Kat is just something
- 15:19Speaker 4: about his demeanor. And then I was thinking, like, oh
- 15:22Speaker 4: my gosh, this is like, so Dean vibes right, So
- 15:24Speaker 4: Dean vibes right now in vibe count. And then all
- 15:29Speaker 4: of a sudden Kat was like, She's like he's like
- 15:31Speaker 4: a golden Retriever. And I was like, exactly what we
- 15:33Speaker 4: call Dean So.
- 15:35Speaker 2: It's hard to compare to those two for me because
- 15:37Speaker 2: I've seen Dean over the years prove to be yes,
- 15:41Speaker 2: mature and yes like still you know, goofy and wild
- 15:46Speaker 2: and doing crazy things. But Dean was never disliked like
- 15:51Speaker 2: He's just always been likable. And the Golden Retriever comment
- 15:55Speaker 2: is is okay if we didn't also know? I mean,
- 15:58Speaker 2: could you ever see Dean on a season of The
- 16:00Speaker 2: Bachelorette making out the lead and then going and telling
- 16:02Speaker 2: everybody that he just made out with her?
- 16:05Speaker 4: No, it's not about them like fundamentally as people.
- 16:08Speaker 3: It's more about vibes.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Very similar vibes, I will say, and Braiden. You know,
- 16:14Speaker 2: the difference with Dean and Braiden. I think it can
- 16:17Speaker 2: be summarized like this. I get what you're saying. I
- 16:19Speaker 2: do agree that their similarities. You know, Braiden was just
- 16:23Speaker 2: there's a headline that we talked about where Braiden and
- 16:25Speaker 2: some of his buddies were on a boat and the
- 16:29Speaker 2: boat sink.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Right, Wait, really, where the heck was I.
- 16:35Speaker 2: I have no idea, but yeah, this is a big headline.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Braiden and one other guy from the Bachelorette from the
- 16:42Speaker 2: same season, We're out in this boat. They got a
- 16:45Speaker 2: line around the motor, they turned off the boat, and
- 16:48Speaker 2: the boat sank. Mostly I would assume because I grew
- 16:51Speaker 2: up on a lake, that they didn't have the plug
- 16:53Speaker 2: in the boat at any moment, which is boating one
- 16:56Speaker 2: on one, like there's a plug that you that you
- 16:59Speaker 2: can put in or put out. And once the boat
- 17:01Speaker 2: stops moving, obviously water starts coming in. The boat's gone,
- 17:04Speaker 2: they sink. So they're out in the ocean for three
- 17:06Speaker 2: hours waiting for help. They did get help. I would
- 17:10Speaker 2: say the big difference with Braiden Dean would be Dean
- 17:12Speaker 2: would one make sure that that plug was in, and
- 17:14Speaker 2: if it wasn't in, Dean would just swam ashore. Like
- 17:16Speaker 2: there's no question in my mind He's not sit down
- 17:18Speaker 2: in the middle ocean. I just think Dean has a
- 17:22Speaker 2: little more adventure in him and that fits his look.
- 17:24Speaker 2: That's my point.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Yeah, oh okay, yeah, yeah completely. Let's talk about these two,
- 17:29Speaker 4: the enemies of these two who have hit it off,
- 17:33Speaker 4: Kat and Braiden. So Aaron b we all know that
- 17:36Speaker 4: he wasn't going to look forward to seeing Braiden there,
- 17:39Speaker 4: and he starts some like unnecessary foofy drama about like
- 17:43Speaker 4: the fact that like Braiden walked down the stairs and
- 17:44Speaker 4: like immediately started talking to a girl and didn't say
- 17:47Speaker 4: hello to everyone.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I'm like, Aaron, just they get off of it.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Aaron's gotta be careful because he annoys me.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Why does Aaron annoy me?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Because I think I think what annoys me about Aaron
- 17:59Speaker 2: would be that I look at this dude and I'm like,
- 18:01Speaker 2: you are obviously a great dude, very good looking, you're
- 18:05Speaker 2: very likable, but you self sabotage yourself by thinking about
- 18:09Speaker 2: Braiden so much that it's just annoying. Like you don't
- 18:13Speaker 2: need to You don't, especially in Paradise. You do not
- 18:16Speaker 2: have to protect anybody from Braiden. They're gonna figure it
- 18:19Speaker 2: out on their own, and and if there's even protection
- 18:21Speaker 2: that's necessary, right, Like they can they can date him,
- 18:25Speaker 2: and if they're into Braiden, that's great. But he's just
- 18:28Speaker 2: he has this like weird moment of obsessiveness with Braiden.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And what I want to see in Aaron b for
- 18:32Speaker 2: the rest of the season. Will him just give that up,
- 18:35Speaker 2: Like he's he doesn't need to be Braiden's worst enemy.
- 18:39Speaker 2: There's no, there's nothing that the two of them need
- 18:41Speaker 2: to fight about, unless again, they enter into a love triangle,
- 18:44Speaker 2: which would be very interesting. But yeah, it just annoys
- 18:47Speaker 2: me because it's like, Aaron, we just have you not
- 18:50Speaker 2: learned yet? Like this does not do any good for you?
- 18:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I know.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Okay. So then on the other side, Kat's enemy is Brooklyn,
- 18:59Speaker 4: who really seems to like can't stand the girl, the
- 19:02Speaker 4: way that she made fun of her at the beginning
- 19:05Speaker 4: when she was like Cat might be here and I'm
- 19:06Speaker 4: not excited, but like and she was like making fun
- 19:09Speaker 4: of her, complaining all the time and her hand motions.
- 19:12Speaker 4: It was actually hilarious to see the parallel because they
- 19:16Speaker 4: like go immediately to Kat's room at Vedanta and she's
- 19:20Speaker 4: like complaining.
- 19:21Speaker 2: About what like the light, the lights too much?
- 19:25Speaker 3: The light.
- 19:25Speaker 4: Yeah, she can't open her eyes in the sun. Totally
- 19:27Speaker 4: can relate to that. I'm always in bad They're like, ashually,
- 19:30Speaker 4: just close your eyes, look into the sun and then
- 19:33Speaker 4: open them and you'll be fine. I'm like you, no, no,
- 19:35Speaker 4: you don't understand. My eyes can't. I can't, I cannot see.
- 19:38Speaker 4: So totally relatable moment. However, like let's just get to
- 19:44Speaker 4: this is talking about what's going on here Brooklyn like
- 19:51Speaker 4: they From a producer's standpoint, the two of them have
- 19:55Speaker 4: to get in a love triangle because the hatred, the
- 19:59Speaker 4: spewing of ooh, that's gonna come from Brooklyn towards Cat
- 20:04Speaker 4: would be probably good TV.
- 20:07Speaker 3: But also like, I don't know, it's like girl, chill out.
- 20:11Speaker 3: She scares me. Brooklyn scares me.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Can I be honest with you? Why I think she
- 20:14Speaker 2: scares you?
- 20:15Speaker 4: Why you think that she's like You're like Ashley, that's you.
- 20:19Speaker 2: No, you are not Brooklyn. I think you're a lot
- 20:22Speaker 2: more like Cat. Yeah, and I think I think Brooklyn
- 20:27Speaker 2: is probably for whatever reason. Meaness you me PTSD Yeah,
- 20:33Speaker 2: meaness to the people like you who are who don't
- 20:36Speaker 2: who would definitely complain about the bugs in the beach? Yeah,
- 20:39Speaker 2: who would definitely. I don't know if you like sand
- 20:41Speaker 2: or not, but would complain about the sand. Okay, but
- 20:43Speaker 2: if you didn't like it, you would definitely like make
- 20:45Speaker 2: sure everybody knew knew you you didn't like sand. You'd
- 20:47Speaker 2: be hot, you would be sweaty. You'd be talking about
- 20:49Speaker 2: how hot and sweaty you are, and like, so it's
- 20:53Speaker 2: just you, like that's your personality. And the people like
- 20:56Speaker 2: Brooklyn who I don't know, don't appreciate or that that
- 21:00Speaker 2: maybe rubs them the wrong way. And I'm sure you've
- 21:03Speaker 2: ran into those people in your life, just like I've
- 21:04Speaker 2: ran into people that don't like me. There's a certain
- 21:07Speaker 2: type of person that really doesn't like me. And those
- 21:10Speaker 2: people scare me because they're just mean.
- 21:13Speaker 4: They're just okay, because like I've obviously, like given people
- 21:18Speaker 4: in the show like One have made fun of people.
- 21:21Speaker 4: We all know this, but the way that Brooklyn does
- 21:24Speaker 4: it freaks me out because it just seems mean spirited.
- 21:27Speaker 4: There's like no lightness to it. There's no her laughing
- 21:31Speaker 4: and she's barely like I guess she does laugh, yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 4: but it just seems like it's a really it's really
- 21:37Speaker 4: ingroined in her soul that she doesn't like her and
- 21:39Speaker 4: she likes to make fun of people she doesn't like.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, and they've also had a history on the
- 21:45Speaker 2: show before, and so that obviously plays into that. Even
- 21:48Speaker 2: if you know, even if she didn't necessarily appreciate Cat's personality,
- 21:54Speaker 2: their history on the show is obviously gonna like come
- 21:57Speaker 2: into paradise because the show knows they can, like, the
- 22:00Speaker 2: producers know they can get Brooklyn to bring that into Paradise,
- 22:06Speaker 2: and so you know, we see it. It's heightened. That
- 22:10Speaker 2: always causes good TV in Paradise is the conflicts between
- 22:16Speaker 2: the two people. But maybe, just like last season, maybe
- 22:20Speaker 2: possibly we could see these conflicts and these two people
- 22:25Speaker 2: not liking each other become good friends because of the
- 22:28Speaker 2: turmoils and the sadness and the shared experience leads them
- 22:31Speaker 2: to go, I don't dislike you as much as I
- 22:33Speaker 2: thought I did. I actually don't hate you at all.
- 22:36Speaker 2: And then they become friends and they start to appreciate
- 22:38Speaker 2: each other. That was an that was anun not even
- 22:41Speaker 2: an unspoken It was an underlying theme of last season
- 22:43Speaker 2: on Paradise. That was really beautiful to see was the
- 22:47Speaker 2: friendships that were made from people that were previously enemies.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I mean, that's that's almost as cool as a love,
- 22:55Speaker 2: you know, romance.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Yeah, those are fun. Those are fun.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Let's get to the big triangle that is this episode,
- 23:02Speaker 4: and that is between Will, Olivia and Kylie.
- 23:06Speaker 3: What was your initial take?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I I don't know. I want to
- 23:13Speaker 2: ask you this ash, have you ever been in the
- 23:14Speaker 2: suckingd toes.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Nobody's watching this episode without trying to think of them
- 23:24Speaker 4: sucking their significant others toes. We've already had sucking toes
- 23:28Speaker 4: and a couple of seasons ago.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and we've brought it back. And I'm just like.
- 23:34Speaker 4: I and this is a comment that I know a
- 23:39Speaker 4: lot of it's rated r and I know that a
- 23:40Speaker 4: lot of us are thinking of it. Though, why are
- 23:44Speaker 4: you okay with putting some things in our mouth from
- 23:46Speaker 4: the body and the other.
- 23:48Speaker 3: We're like toes?
- 23:50Speaker 2: Isn't that Rachel's comment that I thought was hilarious. Yes,
- 23:53Speaker 2: I thought Rachel's comment was hilarious. She's like, I don't
- 23:56Speaker 2: I need a guy that wants me suck his toes?
- 23:58Speaker 2: I put a lot weirder things in my mouth. And
- 24:00Speaker 2: I thought, like for Rachel to say that as the
- 24:04Speaker 2: lead in episode one made me laugh, like it made
- 24:08Speaker 2: me like belly laugh because I was like that one
- 24:11Speaker 2: takes comments too. It's not not true. Now, I will say,
- 24:16Speaker 2: like my wife right now, and my feet get a
- 24:21Speaker 2: great rating on Wiki feet like I got, I have
- 24:23Speaker 2: fine feet.
- 24:24Speaker 3: You have good feet for some reason. I can see
- 24:27Speaker 3: them in my head right now.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I have fine feet. But like if we're laying
- 24:30Speaker 2: on the couch, you know, and she's at one end
- 24:33Speaker 2: a month, I'm at the other end. My feet are
- 24:35Speaker 2: like at her by her face, like she doesn't love it,
- 24:37Speaker 2: like it's not it's she kind of like puts a
- 24:40Speaker 2: cover over him or puts a blanket over him, like
- 24:42Speaker 2: it's just not her thing. It's never really been something
- 24:45Speaker 2: I've thought of in my life as something that I
- 24:50Speaker 2: was I would like to think about the only other
- 24:51Speaker 2: time in my life I've ever thought about it was
- 24:52Speaker 2: Rex Ryan once when he was a couch guy. So,
- 25:01Speaker 2: but it's an interesting conversation to kick off with. And
- 25:03Speaker 2: I think it was more lighthearted and funny and kind
- 25:07Speaker 2: of wild. And I don't think either of them were
- 25:11Speaker 2: against the idea of it. I just don't think they.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I don't I think it was being overly sexualized. I
- 25:18Speaker 2: don't think either of them we're thinking, oh, yeah, please
- 25:20Speaker 2: do this is the best thing ever. I think it
- 25:22Speaker 2: was like more of a laughing like, hey, this is
- 25:25Speaker 2: awkward first, like we're on the paradise. Somehow it got
- 25:28Speaker 2: brought up. But I will say as the conversation continued,
- 25:33Speaker 2: it did feel like that initial kind of icebreaker of
- 25:37Speaker 2: you know in a second, toes led them to have
- 25:41Speaker 2: a real connection, like some laughter together.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Now it was some hardcore flirting.
- 25:47Speaker 2: It was like I would say, it was like hardcore flirting.
- 25:51Speaker 2: It was aggressive flirting would be And yes, it was wild,
- 25:56Speaker 2: and it got way overplayed on the show and everybody
- 25:59Speaker 2: was talking about it, and everybody's like, you can't talk
- 26:01Speaker 2: about sucking toes and then going on a date with
- 26:02Speaker 2: somebody else, And I'm like, this is the wildest statements
- 26:06Speaker 2: I've ever heard.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Of course, it was the kiss, but it is so
- 26:11Speaker 3: fast kiss again.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yes, you're right, it's.
- 26:13Speaker 4: I know the flirting of the toe sucking led to
- 26:17Speaker 4: the kiss.
- 26:18Speaker 2: That's where I would I have a problem with it.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Okay, So I felt a lot more sexual connection, a
- 26:24Speaker 4: lot more just like heat around Will with Olivia than
- 26:29Speaker 4: I did with Will with Kylie. I don't know that
- 26:34Speaker 4: I feel Will with Will really likes Kylie at the
- 26:38Speaker 4: end of this episode.
- 26:40Speaker 3: But I think the.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Real question here is like how much disrespect was there?
- 26:45Speaker 4: Was it as much as Olivia made it seem because
- 26:49Speaker 4: they kissed and she didn't and he didn't ask for
- 26:52Speaker 4: like quote permission or at least like have a conversation
- 26:54Speaker 4: like hey, I might go out with Kylie.
- 26:57Speaker 3: How much disrespect was there? Because yes, in a perfect world,
- 27:03Speaker 3: I do think he should have talked to her. But
- 27:06Speaker 3: at the same time, it.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Was day one, So does day one play a big
- 27:13Speaker 4: role in the.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Needing to have a conversation before going out with somebody else?
- 27:16Speaker 4: Just I see both sides. I'm pretty much I'm a
- 27:21Speaker 4: little bit more on Olivia's side, but I think she
- 27:24Speaker 4: was very dramatic about it. But then again, look who's
- 27:27Speaker 4: talking Ashley, I who said I'm basically in love with
- 27:30Speaker 4: somebody on day one? So I'm a big hypocrite.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Sure we all are at some point, So you know,
- 27:36Speaker 2: I'd have to throw that question to you, is is
- 27:38Speaker 2: it appropriate or not? I think in the past we've
- 27:41Speaker 2: talked about Paradise and this conversation always comes up somehow,
- 27:44Speaker 2: some way while Paradise is airing, was what should they
- 27:47Speaker 2: have done better? Or what? You know, as we have
- 27:52Speaker 2: as we look back on that situation and we're able
- 27:54Speaker 2: to analyze it and judge it from the perspective of
- 27:57Speaker 2: we've gotten to see the whole thing play out. What
- 28:00Speaker 2: could have been done better? How do feelings get hurt less?
- 28:02Speaker 2: Or you know, all of those things. There's always we
- 28:04Speaker 2: always talk about that during Paradise. For me, personally, I
- 28:09Speaker 2: don't think he had to tell alv he's going in
- 28:12Speaker 2: the state. And the reason is because they have not
- 28:14Speaker 2: defined their relationship at all. It is day one. They
- 28:17Speaker 2: have not, to my knowledge, said yes, let's be exclusive
- 28:20Speaker 2: or let's date to figure this out. I mean, isn't
- 28:23Speaker 2: that what paradise is. It's a jumbling chaos of dating,
- 28:26Speaker 2: and so on day one, if you're gonna make I mean,
- 28:30Speaker 2: I think a lot of people are making out. I
- 28:31Speaker 2: would assume in the history of Paradise on day one,
- 28:34Speaker 2: with the drinks start flowing, the water's raging, the sun
- 28:38Speaker 2: is shining, everybody's looking good, everybody's excited, everybody's all horned up,
- 28:42Speaker 2: and they're just going down there and making out with
- 28:44Speaker 2: each other on day one. And then you know, as
- 28:46Speaker 2: you get farther in the you know, chaos settles and
- 28:50Speaker 2: you start to figure out what relationships exist and which
- 28:52Speaker 2: ones don't. But I'm not viewing that makeout as a relationship.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And so I don't know if he had to ask
- 29:00Speaker 2: for permission, because I feel like that could get messy
- 29:04Speaker 2: if every time in paradise. The appropriate thing to do is, Hey,
- 29:07Speaker 2: you kissed this person and now you get to ask
- 29:09Speaker 2: on a date and you have to go back to
- 29:10Speaker 2: the person you just kissed, you know, previously, and said, hey,
- 29:14Speaker 2: is that okay? Like what permission? Are you just telling them? Like, Hey,
- 29:17Speaker 2: I'm gonna go on this date. You kind of did
- 29:18Speaker 2: by getting up and saying that, I don't even.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think she wanted permission to be asked.
- 29:23Speaker 4: I think she just wanted him to talk to her.
- 29:25Speaker 4: And it's like, you're just being I don't know, like
- 29:28Speaker 4: welcome to Paradise is basically what I have to say
- 29:30Speaker 4: about that.
- 29:31Speaker 3: It's like it's day one and I don't think you
- 29:34Speaker 3: had for a rookie paradise.
- 29:36Speaker 2: I'm sure she's like trying to figure this out too,
- 29:40Speaker 2: you know what is appropriate?
- 29:41Speaker 3: Bitter? She was also like she scares me a little bit.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Well, she's bitter, but she's funny. I think she cares
- 29:48Speaker 2: a little bit less than what she's leading on. I
- 29:49Speaker 2: think she's yeah, I think they should have lead into it. Yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 2: she's leading in leaning into it. I don't think she
- 29:55Speaker 2: is is as serious about it yet as we think.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think she has like a lot
- 30:02Speaker 2: of like feelings towards Will. Yet again, it's been hours.
- 30:07Speaker 2: She's probably super like attracted to him or whatever, but
- 30:11Speaker 2: I wasn't. This is not this is not going to
- 30:14Speaker 2: be the biggest controversy of the season. This is gonna
- 30:17Speaker 2: be something we quickly forget and as of next week
- 30:19Speaker 2: when contract well, because if they even.
- 30:23Speaker 3: Thinkvaden because of Aiden coming in.
- 30:25Speaker 4: So this is my take, Aban I said, Aiden, Wow,
- 30:28Speaker 4: I watched too much Check in the City. Okay, so
- 30:30Speaker 4: when Avian comes in, I feel like one Kylie very likable.
- 30:35Speaker 4: I'm excited to watch her to think that she very
- 30:40Speaker 4: much is jumping in too fast to the Will thing.
- 30:44Speaker 4: She's showing too much interest because she knows Avan's going
- 30:50Speaker 4: to show up, and you got a factor in like
- 30:53Speaker 4: this is day one.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Everything is exciting, but like.
- 30:58Speaker 4: You're gonna want to give aid In a chance if
- 31:01Speaker 4: he was on your list, You're gonna want to always
- 31:03Speaker 4: like get a little flirt on with the person that
- 31:05Speaker 4: was on your list.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I mean that, you know, the previews don't show this.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I have a feeling that Will is definitely kicked to
- 31:12Speaker 2: the curb pretty quick.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so too.
- 31:14Speaker 4: I think it's actually telling that the ship that the
- 31:17Speaker 4: previews didn't mention.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Here's here's what I think happens. And I have no idea,
- 31:21Speaker 2: but here's what I watched I think happens. After watching
- 31:24Speaker 2: the preview, Avin comes to the beach. Kylie's interested in Avan.
- 31:30Speaker 2: She brings that up to him to Avan, Will is
- 31:33Speaker 2: out of the picture. Then at this point, like the guy,
- 31:35Speaker 2: the guy has nobody. He's not going back to Olivia.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Maybe he finds somebody else in the beach that he's into.
- 31:41Speaker 2: But like Kylie and Will's really ship stops and then
- 31:45Speaker 2: it's a love triangle with avon Kylie and Olivia. Will's
- 31:49Speaker 2: out of the picture of that group here, fairly.
- 31:51Speaker 3: Kicked out of it. There's no square, there's no love square.
- 31:53Speaker 2: There's no love square. That was my thought is, yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 2: she brings it up to Will pretty quickly. Hey, yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 2: this was cool, this was great. But I like the
- 32:00Speaker 2: saving guy, or I want to see what happens. So
- 32:02Speaker 2: that's why Will is crying because he suddenly left trying
- 32:06Speaker 2: to find somebody new. Obviously, they're giving out the roses
- 32:11Speaker 2: in week one, so Will does have the ability to
- 32:13Speaker 2: stick around, probably or he will be sticking around, so yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Figure out they're definitely giving out the roses.
- 32:18Speaker 2: But he but Kylie's out of the picture for him.
- 32:20Speaker 3: I think you're probably right.
- 32:23Speaker 4: Anything else we didn't cover, I'd say, Rachel, Recie, you
- 32:27Speaker 4: know we have her kissing Sean. I'll say this a
- 32:31Speaker 4: little something fun for the podcast. I texted Rachel, I go,
- 32:37Speaker 4: you look so good in Paradise, Like paradise humidity.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Is your vibe? Can I say vibe?
- 32:43Speaker 4: And then she goes, did I do anything embarrassing? Did
- 32:48Speaker 4: I kiss anyone? And I got to kiss Sean? And
- 32:50Speaker 4: she goes, oops, I forgot I did that?
- 32:53Speaker 2: There you go, there you go?
- 32:57Speaker 3: You know spoiler alert?
- 32:58Speaker 2: Yeah why not? Hey? Like I said, people go down
- 33:02Speaker 2: to Paradise and they just start kissing each other. It
- 33:04Speaker 2: happens every season. They just make it out all the time.
- 33:08Speaker 2: But I think that's part of it. Everybody's very excited
- 33:10Speaker 2: to get the beach. Everybody's feeling looking their best at
- 33:12Speaker 2: this moment. Right. Everybody's clean, like clean and showered within
- 33:16Speaker 2: the last day. Nobody's sweating yet, and somebody's like, this
- 33:19Speaker 2: is if I have one day to be But.
- 33:22Speaker 3: It's still sexy at this point.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Yeah, until you know later on in the season where
- 33:27Speaker 2: it gets really hot and sticky and smelly for everybody.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Do people smell on the beach typically Ashley.
- 33:32Speaker 3: I know things. I don't remember anyone smelling.
- 33:44Speaker 4: But I do remember one other thing that we have
- 33:47Speaker 4: to talk about before we wrap up this podcast, and
- 33:49Speaker 4: that is the fact that somebody's getting.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Married down in Paradise this season.
- 33:54Speaker 4: I don't know, but I don't think it's any former cast,
- 33:56Speaker 4: So I don't think it's any like former Bachelor in
- 33:59Speaker 4: Paradise couple going to get married. I think it's like
- 34:01Speaker 4: somebody in the current cast. No, yeah, I think it's
- 34:07Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I wondered that that's a good question, is who would
- 34:10Speaker 2: be getting married in Paradise because the couples that from
- 34:14Speaker 2: the past that are engaged now, could it be Kenny
- 34:20Speaker 2: and Mari Mm?
- 34:23Speaker 3: I don't think.
- 34:24Speaker 2: So.
- 34:24Speaker 4: They're going to do the Puerto Rico wedding and then
- 34:25Speaker 4: they're going to do like an American reception or something.
- 34:28Speaker 4: It's not like off the table. But don't you think
- 34:31Speaker 4: we would have heard of that about that? I would
- 34:34Speaker 4: they keep that under.
- 34:34Speaker 3: Wraps for so long?
- 34:36Speaker 2: I have no idea, So yeah, yeah, that was something.
- 34:37Speaker 4: That would like have a press release on once they
- 34:40Speaker 4: filmed it.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Somebody, somebody's getting married, we just don't know who yet. Now.
- 34:45Speaker 2: The final statement that I'd like to make is in
- 34:48Speaker 2: support of somebody on the show. Okay, I am so
- 34:52Speaker 2: happy that this is not taboo. Right. Four times a
- 34:57Speaker 2: year I make my way to Central America times, bringing
- 35:00Speaker 2: groups sometimes not travel is always a very stressful scenario,
- 35:08Speaker 2: and especially if you're traveling to a place for a
- 35:11Speaker 2: long period of time. I don't know her name, but
- 35:15Speaker 2: the girl that hasn't pooped in nine days. I'm glad
- 35:19Speaker 2: this is being shown on television because this is a
- 35:22Speaker 2: real thing that we've had to deal with on trips.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I've been on many times with men and women where
- 35:27Speaker 2: they become constipated.
- 35:29Speaker 3: They have to deliver a poop baby.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Now I've never heard of that.
- 35:32Speaker 4: Now.
- 35:33Speaker 2: The turtle is too much. The turtle was too much.
- 35:36Speaker 4: It was kind of hilariously accurate though it was like crazy.
- 35:40Speaker 1: It.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Was crazy, but it was too much for me. Like
- 35:44Speaker 2: it just I didn't need it. Because immediately my mind
- 35:46Speaker 2: goes to that that is very accurate. I feel bad
- 35:50Speaker 2: for her because so I just want to skit the
- 35:53Speaker 2: statement out there on the first episode. I feel bad
- 35:56Speaker 2: for her because we all know anybody listening knows how
- 36:00Speaker 2: terrible of a feeling that is. Right when that happens
- 36:03Speaker 2: to you, it's you start to feel sick. Your body's yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 2: your body starts to kind of like revolt against itself.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Food doesn't taste good, you're bloated, and then.
- 36:14Speaker 3: You're going to be on nash in there where food
- 36:15Speaker 3: doesn't taste good.
- 36:16Speaker 2: No, well just wait eight days.
- 36:21Speaker 3: I feel like you've experienced this personal way.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Oh one hundred percent. Like I said, it's I'm glad
- 36:25Speaker 2: we're talking about it because it's a real thing. And
- 36:27Speaker 2: I think I feel bad for her because I know
- 36:30Speaker 2: that she is so embarrassed, Like I'm embarrassed on these
- 36:34Speaker 2: trips with even like family and friends talking about it sometimes,
- 36:39Speaker 2: like it's a very uncomfortable scenario to be like, yeah,
- 36:41Speaker 2: I'm I'm sick right now. I'm not in A'm not
- 36:43Speaker 2: in the way you think. Now she's on national television
- 36:46Speaker 2: on a beach in a bathing suit, trying to date,
- 36:50Speaker 2: and this is her experience of paradise. I'm sure she
- 36:54Speaker 2: was so excited to get to the beach, so she
- 36:56Speaker 2: I'm sure she was so excited to see who she
- 36:58Speaker 2: was going to meet, and now her story is going
- 37:01Speaker 2: to be that they have to deliver a poop baby,
- 37:04Speaker 2: which I also want to know, what that? How did?
- 37:06Speaker 2: How do you do that?
- 37:07Speaker 3: I don't know, Like that's so embarrassing.
- 37:10Speaker 4: So I told I've said this on the podcast before,
- 37:12Speaker 4: and it's okay because Jade has been open about it.
- 37:15Speaker 4: But that's what happened in Paradise season two. Jade hadn't
- 37:18Speaker 4: gone for a week, maybe even a little bit more,
- 37:22Speaker 4: and they were like giving her edemas and stuff. Yeah,
- 37:25Speaker 4: and it eventually happened, I think, but she.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Had to be open with Tanner about this the entire time.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Sure, well that's where they got married. I think that
- 37:34Speaker 2: probably helped these like, uh, we went this far in
- 37:36Speaker 2: two weeks, we might as well go the whole way.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Like I know, and I told you last time we
- 37:41Speaker 3: brought this up.
- 37:41Speaker 4: I think when they first showed the teaser, the doctor
- 37:44Speaker 4: there in Paradise last season said like, you'd think that
- 37:47Speaker 4: we'd be dealing with like diarrhea issues, but actually we
- 37:50Speaker 4: deal with a lot of constipation.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I mean, I just I just I want
- 37:54Speaker 2: to give our rally our support around her and say, hey,
- 37:57Speaker 2: you're you're doing great girl, Like.
- 37:59Speaker 4: Of course, it's happened to the girl who like left
- 38:01Speaker 4: night one because she was like uncomfortable being in part
- 38:04Speaker 4: of the experience.
- 38:05Speaker 2: Of course. Yeah, it's just this show is not working
- 38:07Speaker 2: out to her favorite But who knows, maybe there are
- 38:10Speaker 2: some ads that will come her way in support of Yeah,
- 38:15Speaker 2: mer relax all these things right, shout.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Out me relax. It got me through my pregnancy problems.
- 38:20Speaker 2: There you go. Well, hey, very excited for Paradise. Episode
- 38:23Speaker 2: one lived up to all expectations. I am very excited
- 38:27Speaker 2: to watch the rest of the season. I think there
- 38:29Speaker 2: are gonna be some great couples made, and I also
- 38:31Speaker 2: think there's gonna be some great drama that is shown
- 38:37Speaker 2: and naturally kind of comes out of some of these
- 38:40Speaker 2: love triangles that we can already start to see forming.
- 38:44Speaker 2: It's a big time in Bacheloration with the Golden Bachelor,
- 38:47Speaker 2: which will be breaking down also and Bachelor in Paradise.
- 38:50Speaker 2: It feels like a very fun season of the show.
- 38:54Speaker 2: For me. This is cool to see both shows that
- 38:56Speaker 2: I'm both excited to watch airing so closely together and
- 38:59Speaker 2: being able to talk about them. Uh, this is this
- 39:02Speaker 2: is a blast and I can't wait. Me too.
- 39:05Speaker 4: So, guys, just letting you know, we will have three
- 39:07Speaker 4: episodes in the coming weeks. It'll be the headline episode,
