- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in that we are.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Happy Monday.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Happy Monday. How you doing.
- 0:21Speaker 3: I'm doing all right? How you doing? I'm okay, okay, Yeah,
- 0:26Speaker 3: just beca came back from New York or went to
- 0:28Speaker 3: New York this weekend.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I went Friday and got out before the storm
- 0:34Speaker 2: on Sunday.
- 0:36Speaker 4: What kind of temperatures were you dealing with?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Very cold ones that I have no interest in to
- 0:41Speaker 2: ever feel again?
- 0:42Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Actually you know what it was. I so I was
- 0:47Speaker 2: told on Thursday officially that I was going to New York,
- 0:50Speaker 2: so I like booked the flight and everything. I looked
- 0:53Speaker 2: at the weather app and it said twelve degrees on
- 0:55Speaker 2: Saturday or seventeen and then low of eight, and I
- 0:58Speaker 2: was like.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Feels like and negative? Someone who cares what it feels like?
- 1:02Speaker 3: I saw one important.
- 1:04Speaker 2: No, eight was enough for me. So I'm like looking
- 1:08Speaker 2: at my closet I had. I was going to a
- 1:10Speaker 2: work event, and I was like, well, I'll be inside.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So I packed just kind of I wanted to take
- 1:15Speaker 2: a carry on, which I never do I'm the worst
- 1:17Speaker 2: packer in the world, but I was sensible. I was like,
- 1:20Speaker 2: I'm gonna pack, I'm gonna wear my jacket on the
- 1:23Speaker 2: plane and I'll just pack my outfits and then something
- 1:26Speaker 2: to travel home. And well, I was not prepared in
- 1:31Speaker 2: any slide like it was. It was so cold. I
- 1:34Speaker 2: don't even know how you prepare without just layering and
- 1:37Speaker 2: layering and layering. So we got through it. And then
- 1:39Speaker 2: everyone I told I was leaving on Sunday, they were like, okay,
- 1:43Speaker 2: good luck.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna get stuck for sure.
- 1:46Speaker 2: So Saturday morning, our flight back got canceled like the
- 1:50Speaker 2: day the twenty four hours before it already was canceled,
- 1:53Speaker 2: and I was like, oh, no, we're here. We're definitely
- 1:55Speaker 2: here till Monday. So I'm just gonna get settled in
- 1:58Speaker 2: this hotel. And then I saw that there were still
- 2:01Speaker 2: six am flights and seven am flights available, and I
- 2:03Speaker 2: was like, they must think that those flights are going
- 2:06Speaker 2: to miss the storm coming in. So I'm frantically trying
- 2:10Speaker 2: to book it. It takes me like three tries of
- 2:12Speaker 2: it saying like denied, deny, denied, and I get through
- 2:15Speaker 2: and I send the girl who is on my management team, Michelle.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I send her and she's like, oh my gosh, we
- 2:19Speaker 2: got one all day. We go to the event and everything.
- 2:22Speaker 2: We get home and we go to check in and
- 2:24Speaker 2: we're like, I go. Mine says it doesn't. My itinerary
- 2:28Speaker 2: got canceled. She was like me too. So I'm searching
- 2:32Speaker 2: everywhere because at this point, I'm realizing I didn't bring
- 2:35Speaker 2: enough clothes. I didn't underwear. I had enough underwear because
- 2:40Speaker 2: I overpack underwear. I bring like ten pairs. Oh wow, okay, yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 2: I'm an aggressive underwear packer. But I thought, how cool
- 2:46Speaker 2: if it snows, like getting to see Central Park in
- 2:48Speaker 2: the snow. But what shoes am I going to wear?
- 2:50Speaker 2: I don't have rain boots or whatever you wear in
- 2:53Speaker 2: the snow.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I feel like I was sending you a lot of
- 2:54Speaker 3: tips on how to stay warm, like wrapping your toes
- 2:56Speaker 3: and foil and stuff. Yeah I send that to you.
- 3:00Speaker 2: No, but no, I didn't.
- 3:01Speaker 3: However, heard I said that too.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Even if I put my toes in foil, the shoes
- 3:07Speaker 2: I had would have beensling. Go on what So anyways,
- 3:11Speaker 2: I'm frantically searching. I find one a flight at six
- 3:15Speaker 2: am and I go to book it and I'm like,
- 3:17Speaker 2: it's here, and then I realized it's just one seat,
- 3:20Speaker 2: and I can't leave Michelle behind, and she goes, you
- 3:22Speaker 2: can take it, and I'm like, I'm we're a team,
- 3:26Speaker 2: not leaving you. I find one. I look up all
- 3:29Speaker 2: the airports nearby. I find one to Santa Anna, which
- 3:31Speaker 2: is like an hour away, and they had two at
- 3:34Speaker 2: six thirty five. So we get to the airport. I
- 3:36Speaker 2: woke up at like three thirty. Get to the airport
- 3:39Speaker 2: and six thirty five passes and we're not moving, like
- 3:43Speaker 2: We're all on the plane and I'm like where I
- 3:46Speaker 2: see the snowflowers coming down. I'm like, okay, are we
- 3:48Speaker 2: taking off? What's going on? We finally take off. I
- 3:51Speaker 2: wanted to I'm not a clapper on a plane. I
- 3:53Speaker 2: wanted to like cheer when we took off.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And was it taking up just a couple of minutes?
- 3:59Speaker 2: I think we left like thirty minutes.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's stressful thirty minutes.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It was a stressful thirty minutes. But I got home
- 4:06Speaker 2: and I feel really grateful because it looked very, very cold.
- 4:09Speaker 2: I was very unprepared.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Seventeen thousand flights canceled. Yeah, and that most since the pandemic.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And so so luckily someone on Instagram, her name's Kate,
- 4:19Speaker 2: she reached out. I don't know if she's a scrubb
- 4:21Speaker 2: or not, but she reached out and she was like,
- 4:23Speaker 2: I go back and forth all the time, and there's
- 4:25Speaker 2: always weather stuff. So she was like, I would book
- 4:27Speaker 2: a flight, a refundable flight for Monday and Tuesday, just
- 4:30Speaker 2: in case, because once they are all everyone's trying to
- 4:32Speaker 2: rebook from their canceled flight, it's going to be chaos.
- 4:35Speaker 2: So you want to have something just booked. So I
- 4:37Speaker 2: booked two extra flights that were I could just get
- 4:40Speaker 2: refunded immediately. And that was really great advice.
- 4:44Speaker 3: So always get the refundable tickets.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 3: Yeah, gathered in my in my yonder years.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's a good time fun, you know, work trips,
- 4:56Speaker 2: et cetera.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Yeah, busy gal, busy bee. Yeah. I this is so weird,
- 5:04Speaker 3: But I I'm not somebody that like spends time in
- 5:08Speaker 3: the bathroom like you're talking about. You know, guys just
- 5:12Speaker 3: like go in there and like read the paper or whatever.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Like I just see bathroom. Yeah, I just go in there,
- 5:17Speaker 3: do my thing, and.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You don't you don't have like a you don't read
- 5:20Speaker 2: or do anything. Oh my gosh, I just go.
- 5:23Speaker 3: When I need to go, I go and then I
- 5:24Speaker 3: get out. But I was in there a little bit
- 5:27Speaker 3: longer than usual the other morning, and I hear these
- 5:30Speaker 3: like noises coming from my neighbor's house, and I was like,
- 5:35Speaker 3: they it sounds like sexual noises, like very sexual noises, Okay,
- 5:41Speaker 3: but it's going on for a long time. Like I
- 5:43Speaker 3: was in there for like at least fifteen minutes and
- 5:46Speaker 3: it was like the whole time.
- 5:47Speaker 5: So I like.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Recorded them because I was like, I wanted to send
- 5:52Speaker 3: it to Robbie to see like what was what this
- 5:56Speaker 3: was invasive? Well, my biggest concern is if I can
- 5:59Speaker 3: hear them? Can they hear us?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Definitely?
- 6:03Speaker 3: And then should I tell them that I could hear them? Like,
- 6:08Speaker 3: wouldn't you want to know? I would want to know.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But why then you're you have to be like quiet?
- 6:13Speaker 5: No.
- 6:13Speaker 3: But I feel like if somebody could hear me, I
- 6:16Speaker 3: would want them to tell me so that I could
- 6:17Speaker 3: maybe like close the windows or something. I don't know.
- 6:20Speaker 3: So then I'm like, do I go to my neighbors
- 6:22Speaker 3: and tell them there are two very lovely men that
- 6:28Speaker 3: one of us bonded because both of our cars got
- 6:30Speaker 3: hit when that drunk driver came and like swiped our cars.
- 6:33Speaker 3: That's really the only interaction I've had with them, either
- 6:37Speaker 3: of them. But so it's not like we're like besties.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Were not really like bessies with either of our neighbors. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 3: but when our cars got hit, we had like some
- 6:45Speaker 3: pleasantries and some nice exchanges.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Well, how would you go about that?
- 6:49Speaker 3: That's what I don't know. But then I was leaving
- 6:52Speaker 3: the house and I saw a U haul in front
- 6:55Speaker 3: of their house, like pulling, like like lifting things out
- 6:59Speaker 3: of their house. Then I'm like, were they like moving
- 7:01Speaker 3: their bed or were they like moving stuff and grunting?
- 7:05Speaker 3: I don't know. Then I'm like, if they're moving, do
- 7:08Speaker 3: I really need to say something?
- 7:09Speaker 1: You have a recording of it, Yeah, well you want
- 7:13Speaker 1: to play it for us and we can give you
- 7:14Speaker 1: our opinion. It seems like the scrubbers would want to
- 7:16Speaker 1: hear that I cannot.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I cannot, I cannot.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Okay, Fine, well let's give them the benefit of the doubt.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Then we'll call your neighbors Shane and Ilia and will
- 7:24Speaker 1: assume that they were just moving furniture.
- 7:27Speaker 3: So then I did nothing about it.
- 7:29Speaker 2: What are you hey, I heard I heard the grunting yesterday.
- 7:35Speaker 3: I would want to know if my neighbors could hear me,
- 7:38Speaker 3: I would want to know.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I think if their window is open, they don't.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Care, or maybe they just needed some fresh air.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I'm not opening my window knowing that I'm at a
- 7:48Speaker 2: close proximity with other homes, like people could be outside,
- 7:52Speaker 2: so I think they if they cared, they would close
- 7:55Speaker 2: their window. And if there was men moving stuff around,
- 7:59Speaker 2: it could have very well that I can't do it
- 8:01Speaker 2: without proof of sound, but I don't. I don't think
- 8:05Speaker 2: there's a world where it makes sense for you to
- 8:07Speaker 2: go over and tell them, And there's no way Robbie
- 8:09Speaker 2: thinks that's what you should do.
- 8:11Speaker 3: I haven't gone that far with him yet. I just
- 8:13Speaker 3: wanted to confirm the noises. I was like, that's as
- 8:16Speaker 3: far as I gone. I haven't told him about the
- 8:18Speaker 3: U haul yet.
- 8:19Speaker 4: Are they moving, because that's another reason to not bring this.
- 8:22Speaker 3: That's the thing. I don't know, but I'm assuming if
- 8:24Speaker 3: there's a U haul that and I saw men like
- 8:26Speaker 3: moving stuff out of their house, that means they're moving.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Well, goodbye. That's the end of it, right.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Okay, Like if you want to send them like a
- 8:34Speaker 2: card that says, by the way, I heard you, good
- 8:37Speaker 2: luck with everything, no sad, like good.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Stuff as just like myself, I would want if my
- 8:45Speaker 3: neighbors heard me, I would want to know.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I would not really what am I supposed to do
- 8:52Speaker 2: with that information?
- 8:53Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe like close your windows or close.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Your doors, like it's depending if my waybows open while
- 8:59Speaker 2: I'm doing that. I don't don't care who hears it.
- 9:02Speaker 3: See, we just keep our windows open all the time.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Then people are definitely hearing you.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Yes, that's how sound travels.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Yeah, when the windows closed, you don't hear anything, and
- 9:10Speaker 2: then when the windows open you hear things.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Because it's weird because you say you care and you
- 9:13Speaker 1: don't want them to hear you. Well, then close your windows.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I don't think about it like that. I didn't think
- 9:19Speaker 3: about that until I heard my neighbors. I swear I
- 9:23Speaker 3: didn't even think.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Well, now it's something to think about.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah, if you care thinking about it, and I do.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Care, then the windows should be shut and locked. Stress
- 9:34Speaker 2: maybe with the extra layer on them, maybe consider double pain. Yeah,
- 9:43Speaker 2: but I'm glad that you don't have to have. I'm
- 9:45Speaker 2: glad that you asked, because I don't think that's a
- 9:47Speaker 2: necessary confrontation conversation.
- 9:50Speaker 3: It would not have been confrontational. I would have made
- 9:52Speaker 3: it like sounded good. I wouldn't have made it saying confrontational.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Well, there's confronting some one and telling them like, like
- 10:02Speaker 2: that conversation is that you're confronting.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yah, I mean it's gonna be like.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Negatively conversation, no confrontational. It just as you're confronting them.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Thinking about having that conversation makes my arms, my hands sweaty.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Then you shouldn't do it. There's a lot there's a
- 10:23Speaker 2: lot more important things than them, you know, grunting hearing
- 10:28Speaker 2: them grunt.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 2: So that's what your weekend consisted of. Anything else?
- 10:34Speaker 3: No, I did. I actually did. My parents came in town,
- 10:37Speaker 3: which was really nice, and and I did like a
- 10:40Speaker 3: karaoke night, which is like the first night, my first
- 10:43Speaker 3: like real night out that I've like had. I was
- 10:47Speaker 3: so tired by like nine pm.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Well yeah, that's a karaoke takes a lot out of
- 10:52Speaker 2: out of oneself.
- 10:54Speaker 3: But I will say the day that the Hairy Style
- 10:56Speaker 3: song came out. I like listened to it, I think
- 10:58Speaker 3: probably one hundred times on repeat, and I had it
- 11:00Speaker 3: on my headphones and I was just like dancing upstairs.
- 11:03Speaker 3: And Robbie was like, this is the first time I've
- 11:05Speaker 3: seen you like this joyous in a really long time.
- 11:09Speaker 3: And so I'm like, I feel like I'm on the
- 11:11Speaker 3: up and up.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You just needed Harry. You need the aperture.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I needed the aperture. But yeah, I was like dancing.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I had like my headphones in because my stepson was
- 11:20Speaker 3: doing his homework, so I was trying to be respectful,
- 11:22Speaker 3: but like blasting in my headphones and like, dam.
- 11:25Speaker 4: Harry styles pillow for the occasion.
- 11:27Speaker 3: I did not. It stays in my office respectfully.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I understood.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Yeah the pillow. Becka got rid of my pillow with
- 11:36Speaker 3: my face on it.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I offered to give it back to them, and Robbie said,
- 11:42Speaker 2: basically like that's okay. He was like, all right, why
- 11:46Speaker 2: would you give that away? Like that's so mean, And
- 11:49Speaker 2: I was like, well, then you should take it, and
- 11:51Speaker 2: he was like no. So I don't know who hazard
- 11:56Speaker 2: or where it is, but you are amongst the world
- 12:00Speaker 2: a big pillow portion of you.
- 12:02Speaker 1: The good wheel or something maybe, Oh, I'd love that
- 12:04Speaker 1: if some random person gets a Tania pillow.
- 12:07Speaker 4: How fun?
- 12:08Speaker 3: It's very comfortable. Yeah, I'm very big.
- 12:13Speaker 2: It is large. It's a large pillow. It's just like
- 12:16Speaker 2: little head. No, how was the Nick Jonas event? You
- 12:21Speaker 2: just like skipped right over that. You just have an
- 12:24Speaker 2: interview with Harry Styles and then goes to like a
- 12:26Speaker 2: intimate Nick Jonas concert and nothing nothing to report?
- 12:29Speaker 3: Do you want to know something that was so sweet
- 12:31Speaker 3: about that whole thing? What this is a message to
- 12:35Speaker 3: everybody listening, because it just goes to show you the
- 12:38Speaker 3: power of vulnerability and like not making your life out
- 12:43Speaker 3: to be this like picture perfect thing that we all
- 12:45Speaker 3: do on social media. And I'll tell you that story
- 12:48Speaker 3: when we come back.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Oh sorry, you completely caught me off.
- 12:52Speaker 5: Yeah, me too.
- 13:08Speaker 2: We're back. Oh, we're back. Okay.
- 13:11Speaker 3: So are you familiar with JP Sacks?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Yes?
- 13:15Speaker 3: Okay, Mark you know who he is?
- 13:17Speaker 4: Yes?
- 13:18Speaker 3: Okay, So I want to say, like.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Summer, well, do you want to tell the people who
- 13:21Speaker 2: he is?
- 13:22Speaker 3: And so Jp Sacks Grammy nominated Artists. Okay, we'll just
- 13:27Speaker 3: leave it at that. But so he went on Instagram
- 13:30Speaker 3: over the summer and basically like was like it was.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I can't remember exactly how he captioned it, but like
- 13:37Speaker 3: screw being cool and just like set his truth. Basically,
- 13:40Speaker 3: he needed to sell twenty thousand more tickets for his
- 13:43Speaker 3: tour not to get canceled, okay, which is something that
- 13:46Speaker 3: like happens to a lot of artists, but they do
- 13:49Speaker 3: not go out there and say it. They'll cancel tours
- 13:51Speaker 3: because of like scheduling conflicts, or they'll make up some
- 13:56Speaker 3: sort of whatever.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Like exhaustion, exhaustion.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Whenever it is, nobody comes out and says like, I
- 14:01Speaker 3: couldn't sell him the ticket. So it was really brave
- 14:03Speaker 3: and really like vulnerable, and the story was kind of everywhere.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And Nick Jonas saw it and he invited JP to
- 14:10Speaker 3: come out when the Jonah's brothers, you know how they
- 14:12Speaker 3: kept having like guests during their tour. They invited JP
- 14:16Speaker 3: to come out to one of their tour stops and sing,
- 14:18Speaker 3: and then through that, Nick reached out for him to
- 14:21Speaker 3: work on this solo album with him. So he went
- 14:25Speaker 3: from like and I'm sure this happened with other artists
- 14:27Speaker 3: and him too, you know, had he not shared that
- 14:30Speaker 3: and been vulnerable and like been you know, not cool
- 14:33Speaker 3: or whatever, he got a lot of work out of it,
- 14:36Speaker 3: and so he wrote he helped Nick Jonas on this
- 14:39Speaker 3: new album, so he Jp Sacks was kind of moderating
- 14:42Speaker 3: this like album preview, which I thought was really cool,
- 14:45Speaker 3: kind of like that story of just kind of how
- 14:47Speaker 3: it all went down, and he played a couple of
- 14:49Speaker 3: the songs, told like stories about kind of what the
- 14:53Speaker 3: songs meant, and then he performed like a handful of them.
- 14:59Speaker 3: And I just I love Nick Jonas. I love the
- 15:01Speaker 3: Jonas brothers, love everything they do. I love that they're
- 15:03Speaker 3: like making music as the brothers. I love that they're
- 15:06Speaker 3: making solo music. I love that they're touring together but
- 15:09Speaker 3: doing all these little things for themselves too. So that
- 15:13Speaker 3: was really cool.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Did you get to say hello to Nick?
- 15:17Speaker 5: So?
- 15:17Speaker 3: I didn't say hello to him, like I right when
- 15:19Speaker 3: it ended, I left just because I had like some
- 15:22Speaker 3: work stuff I needed to do. But he definitely saw
- 15:26Speaker 3: me because I was like.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right there, I was right.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I can't imagine, and he locked eyes with me, you know,
- 15:32Speaker 3: and they gave me like.
- 15:33Speaker 2: The hey, yeah yeah, yeah, see yeah, I see ya.
- 15:35Speaker 3: I see yeah. Nice yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So fun.
- 15:39Speaker 3: It really was, and like he does it on Sundays
- 15:41Speaker 3: because the album is called Sunday Best, so he does
- 15:44Speaker 3: he's doing these like sessions on Sundays, which I thought
- 15:46Speaker 3: was like, you know, I love a theme.
- 15:49Speaker 2: So creative, Sunday Best on a Sunday, it's so cute. Yeah,
- 15:55Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, what other day when you do it
- 15:58Speaker 2: on Monday?
- 16:00Speaker 3: Took her for a drink on Tuesday.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Well, the album has been released for Harry Styles.
- 16:09Speaker 3: The track list and.
- 16:10Speaker 2: That's what I was meaning, kiss all the time disco occasionally. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 2: we have how many songs? One, two, three.
- 16:18Speaker 3: Four, twelve songs?
- 16:21Speaker 2: Twelve songs and we have titles? So shall we guess
- 16:25Speaker 2: what we think our favorites are gonna be?
- 16:26Speaker 3: I already know which one's gonna be my favorite?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Have you listened to it?
- 16:29Speaker 3: No? Okay, I wish? Okay, go for it. American girls,
- 16:33Speaker 3: that's gonna be your favorite? Okay, what's your gonna be
- 16:36Speaker 3: your favorite?
- 16:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with I really like coming Up Roses.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Oh, but I also.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Like, are you listening yet? Because it sounds like it
- 16:49Speaker 2: could have a powerful message. And then I have one
- 16:53Speaker 2: more please Carla song because his song Matilda is like
- 16:59Speaker 2: the oh yeah, I have never like that song did
- 17:04Speaker 2: something like it changed me. And every time I hear
- 17:07Speaker 2: I think about he has to have or whoever wrote
- 17:12Speaker 2: that song with him or Harry himself to be able
- 17:15Speaker 2: to write something that's that relatable and deep and emotional
- 17:21Speaker 2: to someone's life is I'm like, he knows someone who's
- 17:24Speaker 2: been through this, right, because you can't write that type
- 17:28Speaker 2: of song and not have a personal connection to it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: It's one of my favorite songs of all time. So
- 17:33Speaker 2: I feel like Carlos.
- 17:34Speaker 4: Song gott to Be Powerful, got to be a.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Power, and it's the last one.
- 17:38Speaker 1: All of these are basically song titles, like they all
- 17:41Speaker 1: seem like song titles, except for Season two Weight Loss.
- 17:44Speaker 1: That's a very interesting, not typical song title. So I'm curious.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But I don't think he's my favorite. I'm just kind
- 17:51Speaker 1: of pointing it out.
- 17:52Speaker 4: I think my.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Favorite is gonna be Ready Steady Go, because I bet
- 17:54Speaker 1: that's a banger. I bet that's a party I.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Think they're all going to be bangers.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Well, I don't is Aperture a banger?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yes, I'm not saying it's not a great song banger,
- 18:05Speaker 1: but is it a dance like?
- 18:08Speaker 4: Is it a party song? I don't know. I'm not
- 18:11Speaker 4: sure it is. Okay, tiny things, I'm crazy fine.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it's a party song. I think
- 18:15Speaker 2: it's a roll your windows song. I think it's a
- 18:17Speaker 2: dance in your room song. But I don't think it's
- 18:19Speaker 2: a party And.
- 18:19Speaker 4: I think it's a big hit, but I don't think
- 18:21Speaker 4: it's a party song.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Yeah. It's kind of like a cold Play song where
- 18:24Speaker 2: you're like like, yeah, like it's just vibes. It's not
- 18:29Speaker 2: a bad thing, a cold but it's not like Watermelon
- 18:32Speaker 2: sugar High.
- 18:34Speaker 3: It's far from a cold place.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Certainly, not like Kiwi.
- 18:40Speaker 2: It's not like Satellite. Oh, Satellite is truly one of
- 18:44Speaker 2: my favorite songs of all time.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very up, but.
- 18:47Speaker 2: I'm I feel like Aperture was a great release and
- 18:50Speaker 2: it just makes me excited for the album. Wow, I'm
- 18:53Speaker 2: sorry about the offensive words.
- 18:55Speaker 4: Have you Did you watch the video because my daughter
- 18:57Speaker 4: and I watched it the other night. Yeah, I was intrigued.
- 19:00Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it's very good.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Did you read the meaning behind it?
- 19:05Speaker 2: No.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Allegedly it's supposed to kind of be the the a
- 19:10Speaker 3: depiction of the relationship with the.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Fans that guy represents the fans kind.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Of like they're always like there and then he's kind
- 19:17Speaker 3: of like looking over.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Her shoulders, and it could be an antagonistic relationship, yeah, where.
- 19:21Speaker 3: They're like chasing each other, or like beautiful harmonious where
- 19:24Speaker 3: they're like dancing together.
- 19:26Speaker 1: So if you haven't seen it, Harry checks into a hotel,
- 19:29Speaker 1: calls a number, which, by the way, I don't get
- 19:30Speaker 1: where that's going. He calls someone, Oh yeah, room six
- 19:34Speaker 1: o five.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Remember that.
- 19:35Speaker 1: He calls room six oh five, rings and rings and rings,
- 19:37Speaker 1: puts it on speaker, rings and rings and rings, goes
- 19:39Speaker 1: and brushes his teeth, still ring and ring and ring,
- 19:41Speaker 1: and that not answering. So he leaves his room, goes downstairs.
- 19:44Speaker 1: There's a guy sunglasses, yeah, long hair, like a bag,
- 19:50Speaker 1: like a plastic bag like from a convenience store, chases him,
- 19:55Speaker 1: fights him, and then they start dancing together.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and then he goes back to his room and
- 20:00Speaker 4: goes to bed.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Something to be interpreted.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well it was lost on me the the and
- 20:10Speaker 3: then I was reading like people's comments and stuff, and
- 20:12Speaker 3: it was some people were saying that it's like the
- 20:15Speaker 3: it's the depiction of his relationship with the fans.
- 20:19Speaker 2: You love a fan theory.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I love it.
- 20:21Speaker 2: You just like if you see something you like, you
- 20:24Speaker 2: adopt it.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the lore.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Like I don't know personally, but this is
- 20:30Speaker 2: what someone else said.
- 20:31Speaker 3: So, you know what somebody asked him that I thought
- 20:33Speaker 3: was a really great question.
- 20:35Speaker 2: What uh?
- 20:36Speaker 3: They asked, Harry, who in your life is like he
- 20:41Speaker 3: cares the least about like who you are, what you do?
- 20:44Speaker 2: He said his sister, Well yeah that makes sense.
- 20:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was just like cute and he was
- 20:49Speaker 3: just like she could care less about like the.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Is she older or younger?
- 20:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Well, if she's the older sister, she's probably like that's
- 20:58Speaker 2: just my like little thinky little brother. No, I love
- 21:05Speaker 2: my Julius styles has been brought up multiple times here. Yeah.
- 21:13Speaker 3: So I like that question.
- 21:15Speaker 2: It's a good question, it's a it's an understandable answer.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I'm surprised more like his mom or something.
- 21:26Speaker 3: But you know he'll asked for one.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Yeah, one picked one. Yeah. So these text messages between
- 21:33Speaker 2: Blake Lively and Taylor Social released, which man, it's got
- 21:36Speaker 2: to be so hard to have these like this private
- 21:40Speaker 2: stuff release, Like it's really just tough, tough, and I'm
- 21:46Speaker 2: not really. I don't need to like harp on the
- 21:49Speaker 2: lawsuit or whatever. My conversation that I want to have
- 21:52Speaker 2: isn't about that. But I found the text exchange should
- 21:54Speaker 2: be so relatable because I feel like you and I
- 21:58Speaker 2: have had a conversation.
- 22:00Speaker 3: A hundred percent. But people are like going in on
- 22:03Speaker 3: Taylor and like saying how she's a mean girl and
- 22:05Speaker 3: she's all these things, and granted this is me. I
- 22:08Speaker 3: didn't read all of them. I read like snippets that
- 22:10Speaker 3: like Dumois posted, so I'm not sure I'm reading like
- 22:13Speaker 3: the full exchange.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Oh, I just saw the one where Blake Lively is
- 22:16Speaker 2: basically like I don't know if I'm overthinking this, but
- 22:19Speaker 2: I feel distant, and then Taylor's response to it, so
- 22:21Speaker 2: I didn't see anything beyond that.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Oh that's not even about the justin Baldon, I know, but.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I'm saying, like that's what I saw, And I was like, man,
- 22:28Speaker 2: that is such a relatable best friend conversation, one that
- 22:32Speaker 2: I have had, because like Donny will text me and
- 22:35Speaker 2: be like, are you annoyed with me? Why? Like I
- 22:38Speaker 2: feel like I did something, and then I'm just like,
- 22:40Speaker 2: I I don't, I don't know what I've done to
- 22:44Speaker 2: make you feel that way, but I'm sorry, I don't
- 22:47Speaker 2: feel nic.
- 22:47Speaker 3: I'm like, I'll ask you something and then i'll like
- 22:50Speaker 3: follow up like an hour or two later, and then
- 22:53Speaker 3: you'll post something on Instagram and like you still haven't
- 22:55Speaker 3: answered me, and I'm just like, are you ignoring me
- 22:57Speaker 3: on purpose?
- 22:58Speaker 2: Like?
- 22:59Speaker 3: What did I do?
- 23:00Speaker 2: I just well, I'm really bad about small talk over text,
- 23:05Speaker 2: like with anyone. Like it is like if it's a
- 23:08Speaker 2: question that I don't.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Feel like, it's not even small talk. It's like can
- 23:11Speaker 3: you do the podcast at eleven thirty? And it's like crickets.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, because y'all text me and it'll be like the
- 23:16Speaker 2: night before and the schedules change, and I have other
- 23:18Speaker 2: stuff going on aside from thinking about y'all schedule in
- 23:22Speaker 2: the podcast schedule?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Do you hear that tone?
- 23:28Speaker 4: One?
- 23:29Speaker 2: So I had someone over and I was trying to
- 23:31Speaker 2: be present and they're like trying to coordinate the schedule
- 23:34Speaker 2: for a tomorrow thing. I'm like, listen, I am not
- 23:38Speaker 2: going to be as responsive as I need to be
- 23:41Speaker 2: on that because I'm trying to be respectful to someone
- 23:43Speaker 2: i'm in person with.
- 23:45Speaker 3: But I all too was being respectful because I said,
- 23:47Speaker 3: if this doesn't work, we can do it on Monday,
- 23:50Speaker 3: no problem. Literally, whatever works for you. I say, whatever work.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Whenever I responded in the group chat that you are
- 23:56Speaker 2: in and I was like tomorrow's fine. What time? No responded, I.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Said eleven thirty, and then you just were like what time?
- 24:03Speaker 3: What time? I'm like, is she mad at me?
- 24:05Speaker 2: Like?
- 24:05Speaker 3: What is going on?
- 24:06Speaker 2: I'm not mad at you?
- 24:07Speaker 3: You were.
- 24:08Speaker 2: I promise not mad at all. Nothing. I will let
- 24:11Speaker 2: you know when I'm mad at you, so you can
- 24:13Speaker 2: rest easy.
- 24:14Speaker 3: If I have an issue, there's an underlying tone happening
- 24:17Speaker 3: here with.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I promise there's no underlying tone. I promise when I
- 24:22Speaker 2: am at an age where if I have issues with you,
- 24:24Speaker 2: I will communicate them directly. Oh that's what I was saying.
- 24:28Speaker 2: So you can rest easy that unless I say something,
- 24:31Speaker 2: I'm not annoyed with you, okay, And I'm not good.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I really don't do well with like small talk text,
- 24:37Speaker 2: but this is everybody like Ali will text me multiple
- 24:40Speaker 2: times and if I don't respond, she'll just be like goodbye,
- 24:44Speaker 2: and then I'm like, hey, what's up?
- 24:48Speaker 4: I'm so with you? If I got a text, so
- 24:50Speaker 4: have you bead. I'm like, oh my god.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Okay, but I like my action. I have to do
- 24:56Speaker 3: matter robot Like, I'm like, hey, like I texted you yes,
- 25:00Speaker 3: like how are you feeling? Because I know she woke
- 25:02Speaker 3: up at three am and had a long flight home.
- 25:05Speaker 2: I was sleeping, so I gave her the whole.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Day to respond nothing. So then I texted her this morning,
- 25:09Speaker 3: how are you doing? And I responded, yeah.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of follow up. Well, it's like
- 25:17Speaker 2: I'm gonna I get to see you tomorrow and tell
- 25:19Speaker 2: you in person how I'm feeling, which is tired but grateful.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I felt a lot of gratitude being able to get
- 25:26Speaker 2: on a plane and get home yesterday because a lot
- 25:28Speaker 2: of people did not have that. Yeah, And you know what,
- 25:30Speaker 2: I had accepted it because I was like, if we
- 25:32Speaker 2: don't get out, if I'm stuck in New York, I
- 25:34Speaker 2: have a safe place, I'm warm. I'm not needing to
- 25:37Speaker 2: get anywhere. Like I was thinking about all the people
- 25:39Speaker 2: that were traveling and got canceled, that were had somewhere
- 25:42Speaker 2: really important to be, Like, there's such serious things going
- 25:46Speaker 2: on and just in life and people needing to get
- 25:49Speaker 2: somewhere and people being stuck, and I was like, you
- 25:51Speaker 2: know what if I get stuck all as well? Yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 2: I'll have a couple of cozy days in a hotel.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Everything's fine.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Well hot chocolate, hot chocolate.
- 26:00Speaker 2: So yeah, I love you and don't annoy me. I'm
- 26:04Speaker 2: sorry that my lack of response. I'll try to be better,
- 26:07Speaker 2: but like, also, just don't take it personally, because everything personally,
- 26:12Speaker 2: I know, and that's something to work on. Nothing's not.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Everything's personal. I'm learning if therapy not. Everything's personal, but
- 26:20Speaker 2: some things are, some things are, but with me and you,
- 26:23Speaker 2: it's not personal.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Yeah. We really spiraled from the Taylor Swift conversation.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Well.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I just was like, well not really, because I was
- 26:35Speaker 2: what do you want to talk about?
- 26:36Speaker 3: Because she was like there was the Justin Baldoni text
- 26:39Speaker 3: that she was saying, and again I didn't read them all.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I read the ones of like the tiny violin or whatever.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Called him a little bit or whatever.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Yeah, and I was like, I feel like this is
- 26:48Speaker 3: just like a best friend having a best friend's back,
- 26:50Speaker 3: you know, like if you're dealing with somebody at work
- 26:52Speaker 3: that like sucks and is sucking the life out of you,
- 26:55Speaker 3: I know Becca is gonna come in and like have
- 26:58Speaker 3: my back, you know.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's what I'm saying, these Texter should be private.
- 27:03Speaker 2: And also what Taylor said to me was like the
- 27:07Speaker 2: most minuscule thing that she could have said about someone
- 27:09Speaker 2: that her best friend was complaining to her about. You
- 27:12Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. Yeah, So I thought it was
- 27:14Speaker 2: personally blown out of proportion.
- 27:16Speaker 3: But she's getting so much heat for him.
- 27:18Speaker 2: She gets heat for everything. One thing about Taylor's gonna
- 27:21Speaker 2: get heat.
- 27:22Speaker 3: That's the thing about Taylor. Yeah, you know what, she
- 27:25Speaker 3: doesn't take it personal.
- 27:27Speaker 2: She I don't even think she sees it because I
- 27:29Speaker 2: don't think she's chronically online. Dang, And I hope for
- 27:33Speaker 2: her sake that is the case. But so I posted
- 27:38Speaker 2: something about on Instagram that I think about all the
- 27:41Speaker 2: time and I got such an interesting response from it.
- 27:44Speaker 2: So I want to talk about that. But we're going
- 27:46Speaker 2: to take a break.
- 28:03Speaker 3: We're back, Yes, we are.
- 28:07Speaker 2: So I was talking about something that I think about.
- 28:11Speaker 2: I was laying about with Haley, and I was like,
- 28:15Speaker 2: how often do you think about sharks? Because I think
- 28:19Speaker 2: about sharks, I would say once a day at the
- 28:22Speaker 2: very least. I think about them all the time. Whether
- 28:25Speaker 2: I see videos about them, whether there's been like an
- 28:28Speaker 2: attack in Australia or something, and I read about it.
- 28:30Speaker 2: If I'm flying over water, I think about sharks like
- 28:33Speaker 2: it is a and I think about them just around
- 28:37Speaker 2: water in general. And if I'm not thinking about sharks,
- 28:39Speaker 2: something about like bears or mountain lions. I have like
- 28:41Speaker 2: a strong respect for wildlife, and Haley goes. I literally
- 28:47Speaker 2: don't think about them unless you bring them up like this.
- 28:51Speaker 3: So I don't think that. I can't tell you the
- 28:53Speaker 3: last time I thought about a shark. Wow. Even when
- 28:55Speaker 3: I'm in water, I don't think.
- 28:56Speaker 2: About sharks in the ocean.
- 28:58Speaker 3: In the ocean, I just swim. I think about fish,
- 29:02Speaker 3: not sharks.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Wow. What about you?
- 29:04Speaker 4: And with time you completely I never ever think about sharks.
- 29:07Speaker 3: Never what about other wildlife?
- 29:09Speaker 4: Never fish?
- 29:10Speaker 2: Like when you're hiking, you don't think.
- 29:12Speaker 4: About I'll think about coyotes, no mountains, But no, I
- 29:16Speaker 4: don't worry about mountain lions. I don't think about it.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's crazy.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Okay, so hikes, you know what, we can sidebar a
- 29:22Speaker 3: little bit. But like I'm all done with hiking. I
- 29:24Speaker 3: think what I think I've realized. I don't want to hike.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I'll go on a walk. I'll walk on nice pavement.
- 29:31Speaker 3: I don't need to be stomping around in the dirt
- 29:34Speaker 3: my dog, rolling around and getting all dirty, getting itchy
- 29:38Speaker 3: around my ankles.
- 29:39Speaker 2: Where are you going hiking around town in the brush
- 29:44Speaker 2: like in nature?
- 29:45Speaker 4: In nature day, every day of my life.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I'm done with it.
- 29:49Speaker 2: No hiking. I love hiking.
- 29:51Speaker 4: It's so much better for you than just straight pavement.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Done, good cardio done.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I love hiking, but I'm thinking about the wildlife.
- 29:59Speaker 4: I'm not.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I think I saw a bobcat on a walk one
- 30:03Speaker 2: time a hike. Wow, yeah, saw it on the tree.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Pretty cute, dangerous.
- 30:09Speaker 1: But not a traumatic experience for you that it would
- 30:11Speaker 1: be constantly in your mind.
- 30:13Speaker 2: No, no, no, no no. But I did go home
- 30:15Speaker 2: and google mountain lions around us. But anyways, so I
- 30:19Speaker 2: asked the question how often people think about sharks on
- 30:21Speaker 2: my Instagram? Thinking that majority would be like y'all and Haley.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I would say fifty percent were Okay, people were like,
- 30:30Speaker 2: I haven't thought about it till reading this story, but
- 30:34Speaker 2: fifty percent. Another fifty percent said I think about them
- 30:37Speaker 2: all the time, Like I think about them so often.
- 30:41Speaker 2: One girl goes and if I'm not thinking about them,
- 30:43Speaker 2: I'm thinking about bears or a lot mountain cats. I
- 30:47Speaker 2: was like, wow, me too, So there's something I don't know.
- 30:50Speaker 2: If it was being exposed to jaws at a young age,
- 30:52Speaker 2: I was going to ask.
- 30:53Speaker 4: I wonder if that was it.
- 30:55Speaker 3: It might be a therapy situation.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Which I'll talk to her. I have that two days
- 30:59Speaker 2: from now, so I'll bring it up.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Because the thing is, when you think he's here's the
- 31:04Speaker 3: therapist in me. When you think about sharks, what comes up?
- 31:07Speaker 3: What feeling? Is it fear? Like you're scared of them?
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yeah, scared, but like respect for things that are bigger
- 31:17Speaker 2: and more powerful than me.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Interesting, huh.
- 31:21Speaker 4: I mean there is a reason that Shark Week is
- 31:23Speaker 4: a thing.
- 31:24Speaker 1: There's clearly a lot of people like you that think
- 31:25Speaker 1: about them are intrigued by them.
- 31:27Speaker 4: So that's why they do that.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah, But my intrigue isn't like I want to go
- 31:31Speaker 2: swim with them, right, I want to be far from them.
- 31:34Speaker 2: It's fear.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I think there's fear respect.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I don't like to give fear that much power, but
- 31:40Speaker 2: I do have a respect that when I'm entering the ocean,
- 31:43Speaker 2: I am in their home and I need to stay
- 31:46Speaker 2: ankle deep, so we avoid each other. That's how I feel.
- 31:52Speaker 2: But Haley goes and just floats in the ocean like
- 31:55Speaker 2: as far as she can get, and it stresses me out.
- 31:58Speaker 2: We're going to the Bahamas for the podcast at the
- 32:01Speaker 2: end of February, and I'm already thinking about Haley swimming
- 32:05Speaker 2: in the ocean and the sharks.
- 32:06Speaker 3: I can tell you I have swamp swam in that ocean. Yeah,
- 32:10Speaker 3: swam in that ocean shark free. No, at least where
- 32:14Speaker 3: I was.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no, they're never You're never shark free in
- 32:17Speaker 2: the ocean. So anyways, it's something people think about. Someone
- 32:20Speaker 2: was like, sharks are your Roman Empire, and I was like,
- 32:23Speaker 2: they are my Roman Empire.
- 32:24Speaker 4: Oh whoa.
- 32:26Speaker 3: So anyways, there's a show that I am. I'm thoroughly
- 32:32Speaker 3: obsessed with right now, Traders.
- 32:34Speaker 2: Yes, okay, you've been obsessed with it for a few
- 32:37Speaker 2: years now.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't get enough of it. Uh huh. I
- 32:43Speaker 3: wish they gave us more episodes like I hate the
- 32:45Speaker 3: one by one.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah. Haley is also a binger like you, and she
- 32:50Speaker 2: was saying, though it's been she was like, it's nice
- 32:53Speaker 2: watching it one end a time because it makes me
- 32:55Speaker 2: really appreciate and like zoning.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I wish they I did two by two. That's
- 33:01Speaker 3: like my new thing, like give us two a week.
- 33:06Speaker 3: But and also there's like so much that they show,
- 33:08Speaker 3: so you know, when the people get kicked off or
- 33:10Speaker 3: when they get banished, they show them who the traders are,
- 33:15Speaker 3: Like they show them like the photos of who the
- 33:16Speaker 3: traders are, and then they have their reactions and they
- 33:18Speaker 3: post it on their Instagram. I'm like, that's something I
- 33:20Speaker 3: want to see on the show. Oh yeah, you know,
- 33:23Speaker 3: I want to see the people finding out who the
- 33:25Speaker 3: traders are. Like that's gold. Yeah, more so than the
- 33:29Speaker 3: the whatever they call them. The my gosh they go
- 33:36Speaker 3: on the missions. Thank you, oh my gosh.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Okay, what do you think about the season so far?
- 33:45Speaker 3: I'm obsessed with it, like fully upset. Okay you need
- 33:49Speaker 3: I know you didn't watch this last episode. But Rob
- 33:53Speaker 3: spoiler alert is the best trader, Like he's been playing
- 33:56Speaker 3: such a good game and this last episode he let
- 33:59Speaker 3: his heart get in the way. M hm, and I
- 34:02Speaker 3: think he made a big mistake.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Yeah I heard that, that's what Haley said.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Yeah, he voted for his own trade.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I know, and I think once you vote for a trader,
- 34:11Speaker 2: it all goes. When a trader trader is on a trader.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yep, it goes, it goes downhill. And they were doing
- 34:16Speaker 3: so well, the three of them. I know, he screwed
- 34:19Speaker 3: it up because he was just listening to his heart.
- 34:22Speaker 2: You can't listen to your heart. You cannot listen to
- 34:26Speaker 2: get rid of your heart feelings.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because he was feeling empathy and like sadness for Ron.
- 34:33Speaker 3: He and then he just backed himself into a corner
- 34:35Speaker 3: because he's like, Colton's my biggest ally that everybody was
- 34:37Speaker 3: basically voting for Ron, Colton or Lisa, and he out
- 34:41Speaker 3: loud was like, I don't believe Ron's a trader. And
- 34:43Speaker 3: then Colton's like his biggest ally and then obviously nobody
- 34:47Speaker 3: knows he and Lisa are traders, so you know what
- 34:50Speaker 3: I mean. So I had to vote for Lisa, and
- 34:52Speaker 3: I'm like, no, you didn't know.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Now, Lisa's like, no, trust with you.
- 34:57Speaker 3: No, you're never going to get that back. No, once
- 34:59Speaker 3: it's out of toothpaste bottle, you cannot put it back in.
- 35:02Speaker 2: It's true.
- 35:04Speaker 3: Yeah, So he's like he should have voted for Ron
- 35:06Speaker 3: it would have been nothing and he could have gone
- 35:09Speaker 3: about his day.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Yeah, so what do you think is gonna happen now?
- 35:13Speaker 3: So I've heard this next episode that comes out this
- 35:16Speaker 3: week is like is Trader's in Trader's History. Alan Cummings said,
- 35:21Speaker 3: it's like one of the best episodes that they've ever had. Wow,
- 35:25Speaker 3: it's the banquet.
- 35:27Speaker 2: What's that?
- 35:28Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know. I think they have
- 35:30Speaker 3: to murder and plain sight at a banquet. Wow. But
- 35:34Speaker 3: they're like not talking to each other, Rob and Lisa,
- 35:37Speaker 3: So it's gonna be like total mayhem.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Well they're gonna have to talk to each other. Dun
- 35:43Speaker 2: dun dum. It's so good. Yeah, it's a good season
- 35:47Speaker 2: so far. This is a different subject. But when you
- 35:52Speaker 2: have Okay, is Robbie strict about if the kids you
- 35:56Speaker 2: swear words?
- 35:57Speaker 3: No?
- 35:58Speaker 2: So do they do. They swears here.
- 36:01Speaker 3: And there, but like they don't like use it in
- 36:04Speaker 3: their like day to day. They're not like dropping curse words.
- 36:10Speaker 3: But if matter something, if they say something like, he's
- 36:13Speaker 3: not like putting them in time out.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Okay, So when when y'all have a child, will you
- 36:18Speaker 2: be strict about that?
- 36:20Speaker 3: I don't know, because the kids are so good. You
- 36:23Speaker 3: know what I mean that I think it's better. I
- 36:25Speaker 3: think this approach is better.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Mark, what were your rules about?
- 36:29Speaker 1: We never really had rules. It was never a punishable offense.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Eventually they would hear them, I know, elementary to middle school.
- 36:35Speaker 1: It was a big moment. They learn a lot when
- 36:38Speaker 1: transition happened, and it's fine. They pop out from time
- 36:41Speaker 1: to time now and I don't love it personally, but
- 36:44Speaker 1: it's fine.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I mean, one's an adult, Like what am I gonna do?
- 36:47Speaker 5: Well?
- 36:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I just meant like growing.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Up there, No, it was never a harsh thing.
- 36:51Speaker 1: But they also never really abused it either, right, we
- 36:53Speaker 1: weren't strict about that.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Well.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I grew up where I couldn't I couldn't say fart,
- 36:58Speaker 2: I couldn't say I couldn't say yeah. So I grew
- 37:02Speaker 2: up very very strict thoughts and like rule parameters around
- 37:09Speaker 2: curse words. I thought, like literally until second grade, someone
- 37:13Speaker 2: said something about the F word and I thought they
- 37:15Speaker 2: were talking about fart because I didn't even know what
- 37:18Speaker 2: the other F word was. But my parents didn't do
- 37:21Speaker 2: a curse in front of us, so like, unless I
- 37:23Speaker 2: heard it outside of that, I didn't know, and still
- 37:26Speaker 2: I'll say stuff Now, like Haley grew up totally opposite.
- 37:30Speaker 2: There was no boundaries on like I mean, I'm sure
- 37:32Speaker 2: her parents won't let her like curse at them, but
- 37:36Speaker 2: there weren't really any rules around it. And so now
- 37:39Speaker 2: like when she's been around my parents, I'm like, you
- 37:42Speaker 2: have to we have to start like a swear drawer
- 37:44Speaker 2: a week before so that happen. But there's like all
- 37:50Speaker 2: this this stuff about parents being less uptight about their
- 37:53Speaker 2: kids using swear words now. So it's always funny because
- 37:56Speaker 2: I do see people have conversations where they grew up
- 37:59Speaker 2: like me and like words that like fart and but
- 38:02Speaker 2: and everything were curse words. But then there's other people
- 38:06Speaker 2: who had no, you know, limitations on it.
- 38:08Speaker 3: So yeah, and I feel like when I was a kid,
- 38:10Speaker 3: I didn't really have limitations on it either.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Like why do I picture you as a teenager being
- 38:15Speaker 2: like if you mom, I.
- 38:18Speaker 3: Don't think I had a big I don't think I
- 38:21Speaker 3: had a potty mouth until my adult years.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Yeah, like even if I curse, Like if I curse,
- 38:29Speaker 2: and it's like I'm really mean it. Haley's like, WHOA
- 38:33Speaker 2: Like that is? So I'm so hearing you say that,
- 38:35Speaker 2: I feel.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Like when you don't use them, when you use them,
- 38:38Speaker 3: it has more of an impact, which is kind of
- 38:40Speaker 3: what I'm going for these days.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yeah, like if you need to say it and get
- 38:43Speaker 2: it out, Yeah, this is when yes, yeah, well my
- 38:46Speaker 2: thing is the association I have at was when I
- 38:50Speaker 2: hear people just constantly use words like that, it almost
- 38:55Speaker 2: makes what the point of what they're trying to say
- 38:58Speaker 2: less impactful to me, unless it's like passionate. And sometimes
- 39:03Speaker 2: I watch people use like really passion a lot of
- 39:05Speaker 2: passion with it, and I'm like, yeah, you have to
- 39:07Speaker 2: use that word for this. But if someone's just having
- 39:10Speaker 2: a conversation they're constantly using curse words, it like dumbs
- 39:13Speaker 2: down the conversation to.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Me, right, No, I understand what you're saying.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Okay, yeah I don't.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Anyways, gen Z is into right now.
- 39:20Speaker 1: One of the phrases they're saying a lot is charge
- 39:23Speaker 1: fah without the ending on it, because then they can't
- 39:27Speaker 1: they can't get in trouble for that at school whole work, And.
- 39:32Speaker 2: I'm like, okay, yeah, man, I feel bad for teachers.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Right yeah.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Between that and.
- 39:41Speaker 3: My new word is charge it and what is it?
- 39:44Speaker 2: What does that mean is it she has to look
- 39:47Speaker 2: it up.
- 39:48Speaker 3: If you have to look at it, doesn't feel like
- 39:49Speaker 3: it's naturally, It's gonna come naturally at some point. It
- 39:52Speaker 3: means go for it. Do it, take the risk? Charge it?
- 39:55Speaker 3: Charge it the game.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Where'd you hear about it or see about itland? Oh? Okay,
- 40:01Speaker 2: I see.
- 40:03Speaker 3: I keep saying charge it, charge it to the game.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I'm like, I love it. Charge it. So if you
- 40:09Speaker 3: hear me saying that, I don't really know what it
- 40:11Speaker 3: means yet, so I can't quite use it in my
- 40:15Speaker 3: daily vocabulary. But you better watch out once I clock it,
- 40:19Speaker 3: charge it.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Clock It sounds more natural from you clock it.
- 40:22Speaker 3: Yeah, well it's not the thing.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, charge it? Okay, but you're using a weird accent
- 40:28Speaker 2: with it.
- 40:29Speaker 3: Charge it well, because it's the love island UK. Oh,
- 40:33Speaker 3: so they have their like accent. Charge it, charge it
- 40:37Speaker 3: to the game.
- 40:38Speaker 2: What if you say it in your just how you speak?
- 40:40Speaker 3: Charge it? Oh that's good. It doesn't pack the punch.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't see you using it for a
- 40:47Speaker 2: long time.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Charge it to the game. I wish you were watching
- 40:51Speaker 3: that too.
- 40:52Speaker 2: No, I'm only I'm only I'm limited to a certain
- 40:56Speaker 2: amount of shows I can watch it. One time I
- 40:58Speaker 2: speaking of, while I was in New York, I was
- 41:00Speaker 2: watching old episodes of Grey's Anatomy. Man, that show used
- 41:05Speaker 2: to be hit. It was incredible TV. It was the
- 41:11Speaker 2: way I was watching, the way it was shot, like
- 41:13Speaker 2: the camera angles, like the coloring. Everything just felt so
- 41:18Speaker 2: real raw. No, it's too vibrant now. The way it's
- 41:22Speaker 2: shot right now, so bright and four K and you're like, wait,
- 41:26Speaker 2: am I in the hospital with them? But man, it
- 41:31Speaker 2: is so good made me want to just start watching
- 41:33Speaker 2: it all over again.
- 41:34Speaker 3: You know what we should do that We never follow
- 41:36Speaker 3: up on coffee with Camilla.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, let's reach out and see yeah last time we saw.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Last time we saw Camilla, she said she wanted to
- 41:48Speaker 2: get dinner or coffee or.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Something, and I was like, when do you want it?
- 41:52Speaker 3: She's like after Thanksgiving? Yeah, well after the holiday. Yeah,
- 41:59Speaker 3: but I never know, Like, and I'm also guilty of
- 42:02Speaker 3: it too. I'm like, yeah, let's grab coffee, like if
- 42:04Speaker 3: you see someone or whatever. And then I'm like, oh,
- 42:06Speaker 3: and it comes down to it, I'm just like, I'm
- 42:07Speaker 3: just tired, yeah, but I mean it, like I do
- 42:12Speaker 3: want to get coffee with you, like I miss you,
- 42:13Speaker 3: and like, whenever I.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Think Camilla's tired, She's been through a lot. I mean,
- 42:17Speaker 1: she was in the hospital, she was unconscious for a
- 42:20Speaker 1: long time.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Her babies are going to be okay. But I bet
- 42:23Speaker 4: she's exhausted.
- 42:24Speaker 3: Maybe I give her a couple more yeah, I would, Yeah, yeah,
- 42:27Speaker 3: give her a few more weeks before we reach out.
- 42:29Speaker 3: I don't know, man, I'm going to reach out coffee
- 42:33Speaker 3: with Camilla. Yeah, you know what I started watching that
- 42:36Speaker 3: was really cute, actually his ponies.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Oh I heard. I heard it was cute. Yeah, but
- 42:40Speaker 2: I heard it takes a couple of episodes to get
- 42:42Speaker 2: into it.
- 42:43Speaker 3: First episode I was in h Well, yeah, I tend
- 42:46Speaker 3: to Robbie doesn't love it, so might it might be
- 42:49Speaker 3: a solo watch from now on.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Well, lots of solo endeavors for you. No, no, no,
- 42:54Speaker 2: just that. Oh I thought he was off Love Island.
- 42:56Speaker 2: He's off.
- 42:56Speaker 3: He's off, but he'll have it on, like he'll like,
- 42:59Speaker 3: he like, I can have it all here. He allows you
- 43:01Speaker 3: to watch, well he allows, but he also is watching
- 43:04Speaker 3: it and he's like, oh what happened when I miss.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Like oh yeah, yeah, it's hard to have a show
- 43:08Speaker 2: on and not care not show interest when something interesting.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Happens, I know, especially when we know all these people. Yeah,
- 43:16Speaker 3: back for around two and three and four.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Well that's it for today, you guys. We will be
- 43:22Speaker 2: back on Thursday with a Dear Bonya.
- 43:25Speaker 3: Oh, can I give you a tease for Thursdays share
- 43:27Speaker 3: the call with a question on ya.
- 43:30Speaker 1: It's about that Easton has put together using your vocals.
- 43:35Speaker 1: He's added music to it to make a jingle for
- 43:37Speaker 1: dear Banya. Well I can will debut it on Thursday.
- 43:41Speaker 2: We love we love you all. I hope you have
- 43:46Speaker 2: a wonderful week and we will be back on Thursday.
- 43:50Speaker 2: We love you, love you Bye.
