1-2 Chronicles: Lesson 2 – A Counting of Israel – 1 Chronicles 21 (6/14/26 a.m. Bible Class)

Orangeburg (SC) Church of Christ Audio · Jun 14, 2026

David’s decision to take a census of Israel was a matter of pride.  Rather than trust in God, he was looking to trust in the number of soldiers in his army.  Displeasing God, he was made to choose a punishment for Israel, but was also shown mercy when he acknowledged his guilt.
