- 0:00Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time right now for
- 0:03Speaker 1: us to go to God in prayer. And as always
- 0:07Speaker 1: I ask that you join along with me in prayer.
- 0:11Speaker 1: And today, you know, I think about, especially during the holidays,
- 0:15Speaker 1: but I think about all the time, how families are
- 0:18Speaker 1: so fractured, so torn apart by hurt, by pain, by
- 0:25Speaker 1: different things that divide us. And I just want to
- 0:27Speaker 1: pray for the fractured family. Heavenly Father and the name
- 0:31Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ. We come before you today with hearts
- 0:34Speaker 1: that ache for the families that are hurting, families that
- 0:37Speaker 1: are divided, families that are fractured. Lord, you see every
- 0:41Speaker 1: broken place, every wounded relationship. You see every silent tension,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and every unspoken to your father. You know the stories
- 0:50Speaker 1: behind the distance, the real stories, the words that were
- 0:54Speaker 1: said in anger, the disappointments that were never healed, the
- 0:58Speaker 1: betrayals that left deep scars, and the misunderstandings that build
- 1:03Speaker 1: walls instead of bridges. Lord, families are fractured by so
- 1:07Speaker 1: many things. Unforgiveness, pride, jealousy, sibling rivalry, broken trust, abandonment, addiction,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and fidelity. Old wolves that no one wants to talk about.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Secrets that fester, and pain that keeps getting passed down.
- 1:26Speaker 1: But God, none of these things are beyond your power
- 1:29Speaker 1: to restore. Father, You are the god who brings beauty
- 1:33Speaker 1: from ashes and life from what looks dead. You are
- 1:36Speaker 1: the God who softens hearts. You are the God who
- 1:39Speaker 1: men's relationships. You are the God who restores what we
- 1:43Speaker 1: thought was lost forever. So today, Lord, we ask for
- 1:47Speaker 1: your healing power to flow through our families like a river,
- 1:51Speaker 1: washing away bitterness, breaking generational curses, uprooting every lie of
- 1:56Speaker 1: the enemy, and tearing down every stronghold that is helped
- 2:00Speaker 1: our families divided. Give us the strength to choose forgiveness,
- 2:05Speaker 1: even when it hurts, to release what has kept us bound,
- 2:09Speaker 1: to let go of the need to be right, to
- 2:11Speaker 1: allow you to heal the places we've tried to hide,
- 2:16Speaker 1: to embrace the humility needed to say I'm sorry, and
- 2:20Speaker 1: even the grace needed to say I forgive you. Lord,
- 2:24Speaker 1: Heal the marriages that feel loveless. Heal the relationships between
- 2:29Speaker 1: parents and children that have grown distance. Heal the siblings
- 2:32Speaker 1: who haven't spoken in years. Heal the blended families that
- 2:36Speaker 1: struggle to unite. Heal the grieving the lost loved ones
- 2:41Speaker 1: and the empty seats at the table. Father, restore love
- 2:44Speaker 1: where anger has lived. Restore peace where chaos is rule.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Restore compassion where coldness has settled. Restore unity where division
- 2:53Speaker 1: has taken root. And God remind us that healing starts
- 2:56Speaker 1: when one person in the family says, Lord, starn with me,
- 3:00Speaker 1: heal me, so I can heal us. We thank you, Father,
- 3:04Speaker 1: that you specialize in reconciliation. We praise you because what
- 3:09Speaker 1: seems impossible for man is completely possible for you. Today
- 3:13Speaker 1: we declare that healing is happening. Hearts are softening, pride
- 3:17Speaker 1: is breaking, forgiveness is rising, and families are being restored
- 3:21Speaker 1: not by our strength, but by your supernatural power. In
- 3:25Speaker 1: the name of Jesus, the restore, the rebuild of the
- 3:28Speaker 1: Redeemer of families. We pray, Amen, Amen, and Amen.
