- 0:30Speaker 1: Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Hey, Mark? I'm doing great. You know, the economy is
- 0:36Speaker 2: doing well. Everything's headed in a good direction. If we
- 0:40Speaker 2: could get rid of some of the high taxes in
- 0:42Speaker 2: all these blue states, because the red states are un great.
- 0:46Speaker 2: But every time I turn around, you've got another Democratic
- 0:49Speaker 2: governor who's talking about raising taxes.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Hey, will you explain the Super Bowls coming up? Seattle, Seahawks.
- 0:55Speaker 1: This crazy governor there Seattle. He wants to put a
- 0:59Speaker 1: tax on the players, like an extra.
- 1:04Speaker 2: At just the time they're finally going to the Super Bowl.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I think this is their third Super Bowl in what
- 1:08Speaker 2: fifty years, and now they want to put the tax
- 1:11Speaker 2: on the team and the players, And so how are
- 1:13Speaker 2: you going to get all the good players to come
- 1:15Speaker 2: to Seattle if you're going to put an income tax
- 1:17Speaker 2: on the on their not just the Seattle players, but
- 1:22Speaker 2: when you know, a player comes in from another team
- 1:24Speaker 2: and plays in Seattle, they'd have to pay the day
- 1:27Speaker 2: nine and a half percent income tax.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Is that even legal that you're just visiting the play
- 1:31Speaker 1: a game and you get taxed by a state.
- 1:33Speaker 2: It is legal, and in fact, there are other I
- 1:36Speaker 2: think New York does this by the way. I think
- 1:38Speaker 2: you know, when a player, you know, baseball player goes
- 1:40Speaker 2: and plays in the Yankees, they have to pay ten
- 1:43Speaker 2: percent income tax on the money that they earn in
- 1:46Speaker 2: New York, which I don't think should be legal, but
- 1:49Speaker 2: it is. But but you know, here's the thing. Washington
- 1:52Speaker 2: State doesn't have income tax, So what they're talking about
- 1:55Speaker 2: is a discriminary tax just on the people who play
- 1:58Speaker 2: sports in Washington State. So, you know what a sad
- 2:04Speaker 2: commentary right before their great moment where they're in the
- 2:07Speaker 2: in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Why would you even do that? Wouldn't that pretty much
- 2:10Speaker 1: push the Seahawks to move to another city?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yes, yes, exactly right. You know, taxes have consequences, and
- 2:18Speaker 2: so you know, if you want to try to get
- 2:20Speaker 2: the top players, I don't think they're going to be
- 2:22Speaker 2: too you know, interested in going to Seattle if they
- 2:25Speaker 2: pay a big tax every time they play a game there.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So that means next year they'll be the Austin Seahawks.
- 2:31Speaker 2: So well, you know, Austin is the largest city. Is
- 2:37Speaker 2: now one of the ten largest cities in America, which
- 2:39Speaker 2: is kind of amazing when you think about it. It
- 2:41Speaker 2: used to be a cowtown twenty five years ago.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Wow. So, as you said, the economy is doing well,
- 2:49Speaker 1: everything's but it doesn't always show up in the polling.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Fake news the media have convinced a lot of people
- 2:55Speaker 1: the economies in trouble. What can the president do for
- 2:58Speaker 1: better messaging?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you know it's a problem. There was We had
- 3:01Speaker 2: something in the hotline today and I hope all your
- 3:04Speaker 2: listeners get that. Just go to Least Prosperity Common sign
- 3:07Speaker 2: up for free and you get your every morning an
- 3:10Speaker 2: email to you. But the polls are bad, you know.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Fox News poll just came out saying, you know, Republicans
- 3:15Speaker 2: are as unpopular as they've been ever since they've done
- 3:18Speaker 2: the poll over the last twenty five years, and people
- 3:22Speaker 2: are just angry about you know, prices, and you know
- 3:25Speaker 2: they they're still some you know, leftover resentment about what
- 3:29Speaker 2: happened in Minneapolis. But you know that if you look
- 3:32Speaker 2: at the economy, you look at the objective evidence, it's
- 3:35Speaker 2: a Burman economy five percent growth. You know, the economy
- 3:37Speaker 2: has grown at four percent growth for the last for
- 3:40Speaker 2: the last you know, nine months. So you know, we've
- 3:45Speaker 2: got a price. The infrition rate is coming down. We
- 3:48Speaker 2: got an all time high on the NASTAC, the S
- 3:51Speaker 2: and P five hundred, and the Dow Jones. People's four
- 3:53Speaker 2: one K plans are going up. Gas prices have followed
- 3:56Speaker 2: by a dollar Dellen. I mean, it's a healthy economy
- 3:58Speaker 2: that people for some reason dealing the love.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Tariffs are coming down, I think the the cost of
- 4:04Speaker 1: the tariffs.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yes, and people are getting a big discount on their
- 4:09Speaker 2: taxes because of the big beautiful bill. Republicans are just
- 4:13Speaker 2: bad salesmen. You know, they've got a great product, they
- 4:16Speaker 2: just know how to sell it.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, but what do you do when the fake news?
- 4:19Speaker 1: You know a lot of people they just see the
- 4:21Speaker 1: nightly news on the network. They read the newspaper and
- 4:23Speaker 1: they don't realize that they're getting the most slanted coverage.
- 4:26Speaker 1: How do you fight that?
- 4:30Speaker 2: You know, we have alternative media now and we have
- 4:33Speaker 2: other prices people can get the news, and I think
- 4:36Speaker 2: Republicans just have a better way of getting that real
- 4:39Speaker 2: story out there. And look, you know, we've had a
- 4:42Speaker 2: biased media for a long long time, as you know, Mark,
- 4:46Speaker 2: I mean, you know, we thankfully we have shows like
- 4:49Speaker 2: yours to tell people the truth, but a lot of
- 4:52Speaker 2: people get it through the filter of you know, CNN
- 4:56Speaker 2: and MSNBC and well New York Times, or they don't
- 5:01Speaker 2: report on the good news that's happening in the economy.
- 5:03Speaker 2: They just won't. So we should call it the hate
- 5:06Speaker 2: they hate Trump media, you know, that's what we've got.
- 5:09Speaker 1: The TDS news. So right, Uh so you said four
- 5:15Speaker 1: percent growth, it's possible will hit five percent growth, right,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and this could be a boomy at our.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Buddy Larry Cudler, Our buddy Larry Cudler says, we're going
- 5:23Speaker 2: to get that. We'll see, we'll get a report out
- 5:25Speaker 2: sometime in the next week on what the fourth quarter was,
- 5:28Speaker 2: but the first of last year, but so far this year,
- 5:31Speaker 2: you know things are doing very well too, So I'm
- 5:35Speaker 2: here to tell you things are going to continue to
- 5:37Speaker 2: get better, folks. And we've got an economy that is
- 5:39Speaker 2: trump Andomics is working. By the way, there's a great
- 5:41Speaker 2: book called Trumpmics. Yeah, uh, by me and our laughers.
- 5:49Speaker 2: So if you want to know why the economy is
- 5:51Speaker 2: really performing, go to Unleashed Posterity dot com and get
- 5:55Speaker 2: our book. But look, you know, we got the big
- 5:57Speaker 2: beautiful tax bill. We got terrorists coming down, so that
- 5:59Speaker 2: means ices are going to come down from that. We've
- 6:01Speaker 2: got you know, gas prices continue to fall all over
- 6:05Speaker 2: the country. That's like a tax cut. I just think
- 6:09Speaker 2: this guy is that is hitting all the right buttons
- 6:12Speaker 2: when it comes to uh, the economy. Uh, in terms
- 6:15Speaker 2: of people are going to get a bigger pay check
- 6:18Speaker 2: this year because of the big beautiful tax bill.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and revenue is up. Is it possible?
- 6:23Speaker 2: Yeah, but definite is down. Definit is down. Budget.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Is it possible by the end of his term he
- 6:29Speaker 1: could balance the budget?
- 6:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's you know, I don't know, that's
- 6:33Speaker 2: a big mountain to climb. We're at one point eight
- 6:35Speaker 2: billion dollars annual budget deficit. So that would be quite
- 6:38Speaker 2: an achievement. But if anybody can do it, Donald Trump,
- 6:41Speaker 2: because you know one thing about that. One of the
- 6:42Speaker 2: reasons the media, This is my hypothesis. Why is the
- 6:45Speaker 2: media to hate Trump so much? Because he always proves
- 6:47Speaker 2: them wrong?
- 6:49Speaker 1: You know. So, hey, the Democrats, why are they still
- 6:54Speaker 1: fighting this voter ID thing? You need ID everywhere else
- 6:57Speaker 1: in the world, every other country has a voter ID.
- 6:59Speaker 1: How could they still fight.
- 7:00Speaker 2: This because that's how they win elections because voter fraud
- 7:05Speaker 2: is is rampant, especially in blue states and cities. By
- 7:09Speaker 2: the way, we have a pretty cute cartoon in our
- 7:13Speaker 2: hotline this morning, and it has you know, you know
- 7:16Speaker 2: how people wear those I voted things, And it has
- 7:18Speaker 2: the elephant looking at the donkey, you know, be the
- 7:21Speaker 2: donkey and the Democrat and the guy and the donkey
- 7:24Speaker 2: has you know, a jacket on and it has like
- 7:27Speaker 2: twenty five I voted and he goes, oh, no, I
- 7:32Speaker 2: know you don't want to voter ideas. So look, they
- 7:35Speaker 2: they take advantage of the system. And how many illegal
- 7:39Speaker 2: lenivers do you think are voting? They don't want honest
- 7:42Speaker 2: elections because they can't win honest elections. I believe. I
- 7:44Speaker 2: really believe that.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so and Kevin Warsh new fed share the guy
- 7:51Speaker 1: Great loves Great, he.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Is a he is a Steve Moore, uh and Art
- 7:58Speaker 2: Laugher and Mark Simone free market supply Cider.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yeah, he'll be excellent. And it was a good choice
- 8:04Speaker 1: because the accusation that the president will pick someone too
- 8:08Speaker 1: close to him, a puppet, that's not Worsh. Worsh has
- 8:11Speaker 1: been pretty independent and.
- 8:13Speaker 2: You know what, Worsh, he's going to be independent and
- 8:15Speaker 2: he is you know what he's going to do. He's
- 8:17Speaker 2: going to bring inflation down to the two percent target,
- 8:19Speaker 2: which is the best thing he could possibly do for Trump.
- 8:22Speaker 2: And he is going to maintain America's dominance as the
- 8:26Speaker 2: world reserve currency. And that's such a damage mark that
- 8:29Speaker 2: we have over the rest of the world. Everybody around
- 8:32Speaker 2: the world, they trade in dollars. If it's anything in
- 8:36Speaker 2: international's all done in dollars. And that's a big advantage
- 8:39Speaker 2: to all of us as Americans. It makes our dollar
- 8:42Speaker 2: worth more and it makes America the number one globally
- 8:46Speaker 2: dominant country.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so, Worsh takes over a couple months, So how
- 8:49Speaker 1: soon can he make that rate change?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Sorry?
- 8:54Speaker 1: When worsh takes over a couple months, how long before
- 8:56Speaker 1: he can change lower the rate?
- 8:59Speaker 2: Oh? Well, you know what I want him to do.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You talk about lowering rates, what I want. What I
- 9:03Speaker 2: want him to do is clean house over there at
- 9:05Speaker 2: the Federal Reserve Boards, the most corrupt place. And as
- 9:08Speaker 2: we said in the Feeder Reserve Board, you know, do
- 9:10Speaker 2: they really need three thousand people in Washington running the
- 9:14Speaker 2: monetary system? I mean, come on, they could do it
- 9:16Speaker 2: with three hundred. So you know, and by the way,
- 9:18Speaker 2: all those people are against as you know, they're all
- 9:21Speaker 2: against Kevin Worsh. So I've been urging him to clean
- 9:24Speaker 2: house when he gets there, and I think that's exactly
- 9:26Speaker 2: what he's going to do.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Very good idea. Hey, everybody, get Steve Moore's book. The
