Old Time Radio Comedy — The Great Gildersleeve: "Gildersleeve vs. Golf" (1952) | Full Episode
Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve is Summerfield's blustering Water Commissioner -- long on confidence, short on follow-through, and never quite as impressive as he believes he is. As always, wounded pride does far more damage than any sand trap. Willard Waterman stars as Gildy, with Walter Tetley as nephew Leroy and Lillian Randolph as Birdie, in radio's first true spin-off comedy. 🎧 Hundreds more classic radio shows free…
