Latest / Scotty and Abby UNFILTERED / Coworker Alexia spills the tea Is “Hot Tan Dan” into Abby
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Nine. Well, welcome to another episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:08Speaker 2: This is a special one because there has been some
- 0:10Speaker 2: teas spilled in the studio from Alexia that we need
- 0:14Speaker 2: to talk about, so we're gonna also do that. But
- 0:17Speaker 2: I do want to reveal because yesterday we kind of
- 0:20Speaker 2: teased that there were things that we pitched to our boss,
- 0:23Speaker 2: things that are in the works and that we could
- 0:26Speaker 2: kind of hint.
- 0:27Speaker 3: But also things that got just purely rejected.
- 0:30Speaker 4: Do you want to expand upon that, Abbey, We had
- 0:32Speaker 4: several rejected ideas, one of which I knew was gonna
- 0:35Speaker 4: get rejected, and then somehow it went from a full
- 0:38Speaker 4: on rejection to an actual plan.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Which is weird, but I'm also here for it.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Can we talk about the plan?
- 0:46Speaker 2: I think I, like I said, I don't want anybody
- 0:49Speaker 2: stealing it, not that I think our amazing community here would,
- 0:53Speaker 2: but I do think there are other people in this
- 0:55Speaker 2: area that, now that this podcast has gained some popularity,
- 0:58Speaker 2: might try to find any way they can to take
- 1:00Speaker 2: our ideas. Like there are people in this market that
- 1:04Speaker 2: are shady bees, and I don't want to give them
- 1:08Speaker 2: any more credit.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Than they deserve.
- 1:11Speaker 5: So what happens if we talk about the rejected plan
- 1:15Speaker 5: and it inspires them.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Well, I would still be able to then take this
- 1:21Speaker 2: clip and then be like, you all literally took our idea.
- 1:25Speaker 1: So we should talk about it.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Well, what the rejected one?
- 1:29Speaker 1: I feel like maybe we shouldn't know any think about it.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Well, let's talk about the cruise one.
- 1:32Speaker 5: We can talk about the Okay, we talk about the
- 1:33Speaker 5: cruise one, because the cruise one is straight up not
- 1:36Speaker 5: going on.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Well, here's the thing about the cruise one. Why I
- 1:38Speaker 2: want to talk about it because I feel like we're
- 1:39Speaker 2: planting a seed. Because if we could get by in here,
- 1:42Speaker 2: this is where the podcast is cool. Ye because if
- 1:43Speaker 2: you're like, wait a second, Abby Scott, I love that idea,
- 1:46Speaker 2: I would be in Well, then we literally could take
- 1:48Speaker 2: this and be like, uh, we just had one hundred
- 1:51Speaker 2: people say we'd be down.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 5: So I've been plaining all of my girls Gone Getaway's
- 1:55Speaker 5: travels for the later half of twenty twenty six.
- 1:58Speaker 1: That was my plan.
- 1:58Speaker 5: I was like, let me just focus on doing my
- 2:00Speaker 5: job first and then we can go travel. So I've
- 2:02Speaker 5: already had Italy in the works for like the last
- 2:04Speaker 5: half year. But then I was like, I know, I
- 2:05Speaker 5: want to do other trips. So I'm working on a
- 2:08Speaker 5: trip for you guys to come visit me down in Florida.
- 2:11Speaker 5: And then I'm also doing a mother daughter trip or
- 2:13Speaker 5: like a duo's trip, so you can bring your grandma,
- 2:15Speaker 5: your best friend, or come alone.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Like I really, no one's policing you. You can come
- 2:18Speaker 1: if you want.
- 2:19Speaker 5: But the point of it is it's gonna be a
- 2:20Speaker 5: little bit more of a chill trip between that weird
- 2:23Speaker 5: time between Christmas and New Year's. I think that's like
- 2:26Speaker 5: a fun idea. It's like, no one really knows what
- 2:28Speaker 5: to do on the twenty sixth of the twenty seventh,
- 2:30Speaker 5: But come to Quebec with me and we'll drink wine
- 2:33Speaker 5: and go bob setting.
- 2:34Speaker 3: That sounds amazing. You're going to freeze your ass off, though.
- 2:37Speaker 5: You know.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Alexia's shaking her hand like, oh my god.
- 2:41Speaker 6: For Christmas one year and it was the coolest place
- 2:42Speaker 6: I've ever been to.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I heard it so beautiful.
- 2:44Speaker 6: It was.
- 2:45Speaker 5: It's like a little homework town.
- 2:48Speaker 1: But I wasn't that.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you should want that with the holidays, like I
- 2:51Speaker 2: want to snow and I want.
- 2:52Speaker 5: To ski and plo wise, because if you're prepared, then
- 2:56Speaker 5: you can handle it, whereas if you just show up
- 2:58Speaker 5: and you're.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Like, oh oh yeah, I mean would have plenty of time.
- 3:01Speaker 5: But whereas I over prepared for the UK. I thought
- 3:03Speaker 5: it was going to be blizzarding every day, and then
- 3:06Speaker 5: I showed up and I wore T shirts and jeans.
- 3:08Speaker 3: What part of UK did you think it was gonna
- 3:10Speaker 3: be blizzard Edinburgh?
- 3:11Speaker 1: It's one of the Edinburgh.
- 3:13Speaker 5: It's one of the most northern parts. If you look
- 3:15Speaker 5: at how it lines up on a map, it's near
- 3:18Speaker 5: Canada in terms of the latitude and the longitude.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And so anyway, I thought it was.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Old So you're gonna go to Quebec and then you
- 3:23Speaker 3: wanted to bring a cruise.
- 3:25Speaker 5: To us, so yes, And so then I was thinking, well,
- 3:28Speaker 5: MLK weekend was the perfect time to go somewhere warm
- 3:32Speaker 5: and tropical because it's always freezing about mid January through
- 3:36Speaker 5: end of February, and Bird's big adventures typically around President's Day.
- 3:40Speaker 5: So I was like, what can we do for MLK
- 3:42Speaker 5: weekend next year? And a lot of people for a
- 3:44Speaker 5: while have been begging me to do a cruise, and
- 3:47Speaker 5: Virgin Cruise Line has a cruise that goes down in
- 3:51Speaker 5: Miami on MLK weekend, and so I thought, oh my god,
- 3:55Speaker 5: that would be so fun. Maybe we should make it
- 3:57Speaker 5: a joint trip with guys and girls and Scottie.
- 4:00Speaker 3: I'd be super fun.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It would be so fun.
- 4:02Speaker 5: And so I thought, well, how can we work it
- 4:03Speaker 5: into magic ninety four nine? And also how can we
- 4:07Speaker 5: get more men involved? Because I know I can find women,
- 4:11Speaker 5: I just don't know that I'll be able to find men.
- 4:14Speaker 5: So I thought, what if we market it on our
- 4:16Speaker 5: most male leaning station in the company and we down
- 4:23Speaker 5: the hall. There's a station called one or two five
- 4:25Speaker 5: the Bone, and it's very much like boys talking about boy.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Thing men men talking.
- 4:30Speaker 5: And so I thought, what if we gave away four
- 4:33Speaker 5: spots on the trip. But the key is because it's
- 4:36Speaker 5: the Virgin Voyage is cruise line. What if we try
- 4:39Speaker 5: and find the four biggest virgins in Tampa Bay.
- 4:43Speaker 2: You gotta win your way in, but you can only
- 4:45Speaker 2: win your way in if you're a virgin.
- 4:46Speaker 5: You have to be the biggest virgin in Tampa Bay massive,
- 4:51Speaker 5: and you can come on this trip with a bunch
- 4:52Speaker 5: of cute girls and who knows, maybe you'll fall in love.
- 4:55Speaker 2: So it's gonna be kind of like one of those
- 4:56Speaker 2: reality TV shows. We just put all these people together
- 4:59Speaker 2: in a couple of rooms, and whoever loses their virginity first,
- 5:02Speaker 2: you win. Ye.
- 5:03Speaker 3: They didn't really buy that one.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Yeah, no, four virgins and they're like, this is this
- 5:12Speaker 5: is not how marketing works.
- 5:13Speaker 2: So anyway, but I do think, as an old boss
- 5:17Speaker 2: used to say, there's a there there, there's a there there,
- 5:19Speaker 2: And so let's just say, hypothetically, if you're like, man,
- 5:22Speaker 2: I would love to go on a virgin trip, that
- 5:24Speaker 2: would be so fun. I'm not saying virgine, just you know,
- 5:29Speaker 2: a cruise in general, and you're like, I would so
- 5:31Speaker 2: be down January. I could make that work, like start
- 5:34Speaker 2: letting us know, so we could literally start putting it
- 5:36Speaker 2: together and be like, hey, I think we got some
- 5:38Speaker 2: buy in.
- 5:39Speaker 5: But I'm trying to figure out because if I'm gonna
- 5:41Speaker 5: fully commit to the guy girl trip, I don't it
- 5:43Speaker 5: needs to be an even ratio because if it's.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Just three weirdos who were with the Groos, well, I
- 5:48Speaker 2: think there's a lot of cool guys in different pockets
- 5:50Speaker 2: that I could meet and actually bring into this fold.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you're too nice though, I don't know.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Okay, no, you're so nice to your friends with everybody,
- 6:00Speaker 5: and we have to be a little choosy scotty When
- 6:02Speaker 5: I could be.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Choosy when it comes to who's coming on a trip.
- 6:04Speaker 2: That's different. I could go be nice to everybody out
- 6:06Speaker 2: in the streets, but if I'm bringing on people that
- 6:08Speaker 2: I literally are like a risk or a risk to
- 6:11Speaker 2: like what we've built and what we are doing. Absolutely,
- 6:14Speaker 2: there's like an application process.
- 6:15Speaker 1: No creeps, background checks.
- 6:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't do well with creeps in general, Like,
- 6:20Speaker 2: and we haven't gone out enough to see that, but
- 6:23Speaker 2: like I am always on high alert when it comes
- 6:25Speaker 2: to dudes because dudes are just, oh my god, so weird,
- 6:29Speaker 2: so weird, and then see it all the time. That's
- 6:31Speaker 2: usually why I don't like going out late at night,
- 6:32Speaker 2: because I'm like, all right, it's.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Like all the creepers come out.
- 6:34Speaker 2: It's like, where the hell have you guys been? It's dark,
- 6:37Speaker 2: so now you can show yourself, Like no, absolutely not.
- 6:39Speaker 2: So if you're going to come out on a cruise,
- 6:41Speaker 2: you would have to be a normal human being that
- 6:44Speaker 2: nobody's going to feel threatened by, reared out by creeped
- 6:47Speaker 2: out by So yes, I could be a little more
- 6:50Speaker 2: extreme there.
- 6:51Speaker 5: So anyway, ladies don't freak out, I'll run a background
- 6:53Speaker 5: check on them. But also there's got to be an
- 6:54Speaker 5: even I just don't know if logistically.
- 6:56Speaker 3: How many girls do you think you'd want to bring?
- 6:59Speaker 5: Typically average around like ten eleven, twelve girls. I mean,
- 7:03Speaker 5: some trips have gotten really big. I don't think they'll
- 7:05Speaker 5: ever get that big again. So yeah, usually around like
- 7:08Speaker 5: twelve girls.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I've never done anything like this for
- 7:10Speaker 2: like the dudes, but I do think with now the
- 7:13Speaker 2: different pockets of life I'm walking into, there's a lot
- 7:16Speaker 2: more dude bro hanging that I'm meeting, a lot more guys.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It's just now guys that are not in relationships.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Yeah, so anyway, it might be considering a cruise cuse
- 7:26Speaker 5: pretty guiaries in Oka weekend. I just has to figure
- 7:29Speaker 5: out what travel agent can help me put it together.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Now, the one that's actually in the works, without saying
- 7:35Speaker 2: all the details, it's pretty much just we have an
- 7:38Speaker 2: idea of how we're going to get in the Guinness
- 7:40Speaker 2: Book of World Records, and there's something that it can't
- 7:43Speaker 2: just be abby or eye that it's doing this, you
- 7:47Speaker 2: would have to be involved as well.
- 7:49Speaker 3: And it's going to be super fun.
- 7:50Speaker 2: It's going to be super weird, and it's going to
- 7:52Speaker 2: be super local here in Tampa Bay, supernical, super local.
- 7:56Speaker 3: And without revealing what it is, we.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Can't talk of it because you're so right, people are
- 8:01Speaker 1: going to ruin it.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Absolutely, people are going to steal the idea. Yeah, there
- 8:05Speaker 2: mforts all over that are listening to No, it is
- 8:11Speaker 2: ours and we're gonna make it the biggest fucking deal
- 8:13Speaker 2: in Tampa Bay. This is where my competitive side comes out,
- 8:16Speaker 2: and I want it to be successful. So if you
- 8:18Speaker 2: are in the Tampa Bay area or you want to
- 8:19Speaker 2: come down what it would be may then you know
- 8:25Speaker 2: we'll let you be a part of this event. It's free,
- 8:27Speaker 2: I think, I don't think you'd have to pay anything.
- 8:29Speaker 1: No, it's free.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you just come along and have a great ass
- 8:32Speaker 2: time and make history and make a couple celebrities.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Literally, that's that's our tease. If you want to make history.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I feel like w Ryan right now. I looked at
- 8:41Speaker 1: the Disney Channel president.
- 8:43Speaker 5: I said, I want to make history and that's what
- 8:46Speaker 5: this is. No, but it literally is going to be history,
- 8:51Speaker 5: if you want to if you want to potentially make national.
- 8:54Speaker 3: News, world news.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Who knows world news, worldwide news.
- 8:58Speaker 3: That's the goal.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Like the vision, this is going to be a global
- 9:02Speaker 2: moment everybody will know about.
- 9:04Speaker 3: It's if done right.
- 9:05Speaker 2: If done right, I do worry that it won't be
- 9:07Speaker 2: done right, but that's just because there's always that little
- 9:09Speaker 2: worry in my.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Head that says it can be enough.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I think it'll go viral in Tampa at least, but.
- 9:14Speaker 3: If enough people join in.
- 9:16Speaker 2: I had this whole vision in my head, and once
- 9:18Speaker 2: we announce it and once we start building it of
- 9:20Speaker 2: like different areas we could hit and bring in that
- 9:23Speaker 2: have massive amounts of people, that'd be like.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, we got our whole group involved.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And it's literally like pockets of like sixty sixty sixty,
- 9:30Speaker 2: and next thing you know, we have, you know, a
- 9:31Speaker 2: couple hundred people wanting to be a part of this.
- 9:34Speaker 2: That's global. Especially if you picture all of this happening
- 9:38Speaker 2: like a bar and soho and you like see a
- 9:40Speaker 2: DJ up there and you look across and you see
- 9:42Speaker 2: what we're gonna eventually reveal.
- 9:45Speaker 3: There's no way that doesn't go viral.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I mean, I don't like to get my hopes up.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I do. That's I get my hopes up, because man,
- 9:51Speaker 2: isn't that the whole point of life is to think
- 9:53Speaker 2: about all the good that you could do, no actually
- 9:56Speaker 2: survive in advance something I do want to bring back too,
- 10:00Speaker 2: because we are literally crashed up in the studio, so
- 10:01Speaker 2: a little behind the scenes.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I like showing you behind the curtain. We're in the
- 10:04Speaker 3: studio right now. Alexi is here with us.
- 10:06Speaker 2: She was doing her show and we're like, Alexi, we
- 10:08Speaker 2: have a podcast we want to do and we need
- 10:09Speaker 2: you a part of it because you're the one with
- 10:11Speaker 2: the tea.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And she's like, okay, let me do a little bit
- 10:13Speaker 3: of my.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Show and was like, I love the song that's playing.
- 10:15Speaker 6: That's why I was like what it was like, Oh,
- 10:17Speaker 6: it's aday commercial.
- 10:19Speaker 3: She loves looked by the way big girl.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yes, wait, what was the song before?
- 10:24Speaker 6: Though?
- 10:24Speaker 2: I don't know this song brings me so much, pea,
- 10:26Speaker 2: it was probably oh Ordinary Ordinary by Alex Warren, which
- 10:31Speaker 2: is a great song.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Just like hears not.
- 10:34Speaker 6: Picking the songs, I love you.
- 10:36Speaker 2: You know, let's just keep the magic there. Alexei picks
- 10:38Speaker 2: all the songs. She's actually in charge she's the music me. Now,
- 10:42Speaker 2: why we wanted to talk about this right now is
- 10:44Speaker 2: because like literally yesterday Alexia busted up in the studio
- 10:47Speaker 2: and she's like, I have tea, And my thought is
- 10:52Speaker 2: like wait, wait, because I want to talk about it here.
- 10:55Speaker 2: And then one of Abby's loves is she loves a
- 10:58Speaker 2: hot cup of tea.
- 11:00Speaker 1: You can't even hold back.
- 11:01Speaker 5: I love gossip, I love a story, I love a storyline.
- 11:06Speaker 5: I love I love to be in the know.
- 11:08Speaker 2: So if you've been caught up with the podcast, then
- 11:10Speaker 2: you knew, you know, maybe was it a week ago.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Last weekend, not the weekend that just passed, but the
- 11:15Speaker 5: weekend before that.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so just a couple of days. We walked into
- 11:20Speaker 2: the studio with what sounded like Abby's love.
- 11:26Speaker 3: A moment.
- 11:27Speaker 2: But well here's the thing, you know. I told Abby.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I was like, I think you're gonna find the love
- 11:32Speaker 2: of your.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Life in Tampa Bay.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Because if you followed Abbey's story for a long time,
- 11:36Speaker 2: she says this pretty openly, how do you.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Describe yourself Abby chronically single?
- 11:39Speaker 3: That is a very strong way of phrasing it.
- 11:42Speaker 1: But would you have gone softer?
- 11:44Speaker 3: No?
- 11:45Speaker 2: No, I just that's why I wanted to ask you
- 11:46Speaker 2: because you always it's chronically single.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I do go on dates.
- 11:51Speaker 3: You tried dating, Yeah.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm literally trying.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just everybody's like kind of like it's just at.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Well, no, I'm not everybody.
- 11:59Speaker 5: It makes it sound like every guy you've ever been
- 12:00Speaker 5: out with is about and that's not accurate.
- 12:02Speaker 1: But I think, yeah, when something's right, it'll be right.
- 12:04Speaker 3: But until then and so far, it has not been.
- 12:07Speaker 2: But we went out to this pool party and that's
- 12:09Speaker 2: where we started talking about hot Tan Dan and it
- 12:13Speaker 2: was like a moment of I could just look over
- 12:14Speaker 2: and Abby He's like looking at this man like oh
- 12:16Speaker 2: my god, and I'm like, oh wow, okay, that's that's
- 12:19Speaker 2: a look of desire. Start talking to hot Tan Dan.
- 12:23Speaker 2: And after that pool party, it just left us wondering
- 12:27Speaker 2: if we'd ever run into him again. There was no
- 12:29Speaker 2: number exchange, there's no Instagram that was exchanged, but there
- 12:34Speaker 2: was a moment between you two before you left where
- 12:36Speaker 2: what he asked.
- 12:37Speaker 5: You out kind of We had had a couple of
- 12:40Speaker 5: weird interactions to where I could tell we were both
- 12:43Speaker 5: sort of looking at each other and I could tell
- 12:46Speaker 5: that there was maybe something there.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I could.
- 12:48Speaker 5: I could sense that there was a little bit of
- 12:50Speaker 5: interest on his part, but I didn't really know to
- 12:53Speaker 5: what extent because we're both kind of socially awkward. We'rely
- 12:57Speaker 5: and so finally it's the last half hour of this
- 13:01Speaker 5: pool party and he says in a tone that is
- 13:05Speaker 5: very specific, because it wasn't like, so what are you
- 13:07Speaker 5: doing after this in terms of it feeling very endearing,
- 13:11Speaker 5: like you're asking me a question that's sort of leading.
- 13:13Speaker 5: He asked me, so what are you doing after this?
- 13:16Speaker 5: It sounded very much like just what are you doing it?
- 13:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you're just asking, not because you want to do
- 13:20Speaker 2: anything with me, just curiosity what's.
- 13:23Speaker 3: You're up to?
- 13:23Speaker 5: And I was like, oh, I'm going to work after
- 13:25Speaker 5: the tomorrow and there's a happy hour. So anyway, long
- 13:28Speaker 5: story short, He's like, well, I was gonna go watch
- 13:31Speaker 5: the sunset. And I go, oh, that's fucking weird.
- 13:38Speaker 1: That's what I wanted to do.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Was like, man, this man's so romantic.
- 13:40Speaker 2: That was his way of awkwardly trying to see if
- 13:42Speaker 2: you'd be interested and abby. You know, I guess in
- 13:45Speaker 2: the way we phrased it was you fumbled, and.
- 13:48Speaker 5: I mean I kind of fumbled it, but it also
- 13:50Speaker 5: just felt it didn't feel nothing like a natural progression.
- 13:54Speaker 5: A natural progression would have been us flirting and there
- 13:56Speaker 5: being a little something there, and I think we were
- 13:58Speaker 5: both interested, but it was just kind of an awkward
- 14:00Speaker 5: environment because how loud the music was and it's a club.
- 14:04Speaker 5: And so then when he goes and does a hard
- 14:06Speaker 5: pivot and says, I'm gonna go watch the sunset like
- 14:14Speaker 5: my tummy herds, I don't, I don't. I don't talk
- 14:16Speaker 5: to boys boys. So I was like, I'm gonna go
- 14:19Speaker 5: to the happy hour after.
- 14:20Speaker 1: This, and he goes, well, I'm gonna go watch the sunset,
- 14:21Speaker 1: and I was like, you're really bent on going.
- 14:23Speaker 2: On to the nothing like a sunset off like sand Pepe,
- 14:26Speaker 2: I'll tell you what romance sitting in the sand a
- 14:29Speaker 2: little probably just gonna get like a makeout session.
- 14:31Speaker 5: It just yeah, it was just too much. I was like,
- 14:33Speaker 5: we can we have a full conversation first. I'm like,
- 14:35Speaker 5: what's your what's your last name?
- 14:37Speaker 6: Rooftop? You were in an environment conducive to sunset. It
- 14:39Speaker 6: wasn't like you were in a garage or something like you.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Could have easily a dungeon.
- 14:43Speaker 6: He could have pulled you away to a corner and
- 14:45Speaker 6: let's watch the sunset from here.
- 14:48Speaker 3: So there was opportunity.
- 14:49Speaker 1: There was, yeah, mutual fumble. We were both awkward.
- 14:53Speaker 5: I was watching Withering Heights and I was literally like,
- 14:56Speaker 5: that's me and him.
- 14:57Speaker 1: We're both just two stiff people.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yo.
- 15:00Speaker 5: He's literally Jacob A LORDI I'm Margaret Robbie, and we're
- 15:03Speaker 5: both just like awkward, and no one wants to fess
- 15:06Speaker 5: up first. So I asked him at some point, I said,
- 15:09Speaker 5: are you are you not? Are you really not going
- 15:11Speaker 5: to go the happy arc? So that it was so dumb.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I was like, we're all drinking, you gonna go drive
- 15:14Speaker 1: down to the sperndset. Yes.
- 15:16Speaker 5: I was like, you're not going to go to the
- 15:17Speaker 5: happy hour? And then he goes, well, are you asking.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Me to go to the happy hour?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Actually, I'm not even gonna get mad at him because
- 15:24Speaker 2: I would do the same thing.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I need to be invited.
- 15:26Speaker 2: I'm like, if you're gonna tell me, like literally say,
- 15:28Speaker 2: I would love for you to be there, but I wanted, but.
- 15:30Speaker 5: That is the invitation. Are you really not going to
- 15:32Speaker 5: go to the happy hour? That he easily could have
- 15:34Speaker 5: been like, oh, yeah, I'll stay for a drink. Do
- 15:35Speaker 5: you want to go get a drink? Easy transition, not
- 15:38Speaker 5: like this weird. Hey, let's go since it's just too
- 15:40Speaker 5: it just felt too much.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Thanksgiving. I want to take you away from all these.
- 15:46Speaker 3: People it's giving. I would like a romantic moment with you, Abby.
- 15:49Speaker 1: I know we're not there yet. I'm hot dandy.
- 15:51Speaker 3: With me to the beach.
- 15:53Speaker 5: So anyway, after I guess we mutually fumbled, I did
- 15:58Speaker 5: notice him talking with a girl that I was under
- 16:02Speaker 5: the impression didn't like men. Yeah, because she was hitting
- 16:05Speaker 5: on women the previous night when we were going out
- 16:08Speaker 5: with her.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's why.
- 16:10Speaker 2: I mean, this girl was like I thought her and
- 16:12Speaker 2: I had something, and then she was like, all right,
- 16:14Speaker 2: could you help me get with that girl behind me?
- 16:16Speaker 3: I was like, all right, what I thought that?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I think you should just go say hello.
- 16:21Speaker 2: And then I saw them like getting it later in
- 16:22Speaker 2: the day. I was like, good for them.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Yeah, So the only interactions we've had with this girl
- 16:26Speaker 5: have been I'm interested in women? Could she be by totally?
- 16:29Speaker 5: We're hearing so much about women, We're assuming she's just.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah, just focused on the ladies. Yeah, which dope.
- 16:35Speaker 2: But then let's fast forward to now, because what we
- 16:38Speaker 2: were trying to do.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Is set up times were like hot damn.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Dan could come to this event or run in the
- 16:43Speaker 2: abbey like spontaneously. And then yesterday Elektia bought some in
- 16:48Speaker 2: the studio and she says, I got tea. So Electia
- 16:50Speaker 2: come over to the mike, tell us okay, without seeing
- 16:52Speaker 2: too many details, but you know what, yeah about it?
- 16:55Speaker 3: What was the tea? Give us the tea? Everyone sitting
- 16:57Speaker 3: around with a cup.
- 16:58Speaker 6: So my husband is talking to steely Dan hot Tanda.
- 17:04Speaker 6: My husband and him actually were the ones to exchange
- 17:06Speaker 6: contact and foe and to keep the conversation going, unlike Abby.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So he never asked for my number. Can I be blamed?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Is it too much for a woman to be to
- 17:15Speaker 1: want to be wound?
- 17:16Speaker 6: You should have been like, I'm gonna body paint your
- 17:18Speaker 6: digits on my back tramp stamp style. I'm just I'm
- 17:22Speaker 6: read a body painter there, but I'm yes. So long
- 17:24Speaker 6: story short, my husband comes into the room Monday or whatever,
- 17:27Speaker 6: before I'm heading to work, and he goes, oh, yeah,
- 17:29Speaker 6: I've been a dming with Dan, and he mentioned that
- 17:34Speaker 6: that allegedly lesbian character, wonderful character that we had met,
- 17:40Speaker 6: was texting and taking him out to dinner and kind
- 17:43Speaker 6: of sugar mama ying him, and that was happening. So
- 17:48Speaker 6: I go, what, Michael, Like, are you kidding me? Do
- 17:51Speaker 6: you not realize what's happening? This has been like a
- 17:53Speaker 6: storyline on the Unfiltered podcast, like can I tell Abby
- 17:57Speaker 6: what's going on? He's like, I don't know, Like he's
- 17:59Speaker 6: the guy's just going along for the ride. So my
- 18:02Speaker 6: question is, one, do we tell Dan that there's interest?
- 18:05Speaker 6: Do I have my husband kind of slide in somehow?
- 18:08Speaker 1: What do we do?
- 18:09Speaker 5: I just want to know what his interest level is
- 18:12Speaker 5: because up until this point, we've thought hot alleged lesbian
- 18:16Speaker 5: girl was just a hot alleged lesbian. Now she's the
- 18:19Speaker 5: hot bisexual girl. I can't compete with that. She's hot, rich,
- 18:23Speaker 5: and bisexual.
- 18:24Speaker 2: And also, again I think it goes back and people
- 18:26Speaker 2: have said this on the podcast too, like you don't
- 18:28Speaker 2: need to be chasing this man.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That's how I feel where I ask that.
- 18:31Speaker 2: If he wanted to follow you, he would, If you
- 18:33Speaker 2: wanted to call, he would, if you wanted to show up,
- 18:36Speaker 2: he would, And until somebody dos that, Bye, go out
- 18:38Speaker 2: with your sugar mama. That's fine if that's the life
- 18:40Speaker 2: you want to live, enjoy your caviat on a yacht.
- 18:42Speaker 2: That sounds great honestly, But I ain't no Abby.
- 18:45Speaker 6: What we do is which I'm actually dming her the phone.
- 18:49Speaker 6: I want to be I want her side of things.
- 18:51Speaker 6: So I think Abby and I, you know, they say
- 18:54Speaker 6: no one like befriend your enemy, you know, keep your
- 18:56Speaker 6: enemies closer.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Than your friends. Just kidding.
- 18:59Speaker 6: She's awesome. I really think she's a fun galley that
- 19:02Speaker 6: she has a pan sexuality and good on her. She's young, hot, like,
- 19:06Speaker 6: why not live your life? But I think you and I.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Go for drinking sugar mama.
- 19:09Speaker 6: For me, we get sugar mamu. And who knows it
- 19:11Speaker 6: would become a lesbian throuble?
- 19:12Speaker 5: What does she do?
- 19:13Speaker 3: Okay, wait a.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Second, I don't want to give into that.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I want to know where this money is
- 19:19Speaker 1: coming from.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Family. Oh okay.
- 19:22Speaker 2: I'm offended though, because if you're going to take hot
- 19:25Speaker 2: tan Dan out on the boat, I kind of want
- 19:26Speaker 2: to be taken out on the boat where there's an opportunity.
- 19:29Speaker 6: Change contact info. They did well, clearly if they're in communication.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Who was the one in that scenario. I feel like
- 19:34Speaker 6: it was her because she put her number on my phone,
- 19:36Speaker 6: like immediately, Oh.
- 19:37Speaker 5: That's one hundred percent what happened. Yeah, because he definitely
- 19:40Speaker 5: didn't ask me for my number, but there was.
- 19:42Speaker 2: Also he didn't ask for hers. She gave it to
- 19:44Speaker 2: him probably, I know.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So I'm like, what does this guy have no social cues?
- 19:48Speaker 1: I don't think that's the.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Kind of guy that you would want. You would want
- 19:51Speaker 2: somebody that's like, yo, let me get to that number.
- 19:53Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 19:54Speaker 5: I wonder if he's just weeding himself out in the
- 19:56Speaker 5: sense that I feel like a guy I would be
- 19:58Speaker 5: interested in wouldn't be like this, which is and set.
- 20:00Speaker 1: He'd just be like, can I get your number?
- 20:02Speaker 5: I think you would be fun to hang out with,
- 20:03Speaker 5: and I would go, oh, yeah, we should go somewhere,
- 20:05Speaker 5: like oh.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Yeah, twirls hair.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Okay, I guess I'm just a is so tall.
- 20:11Speaker 6: When you're that tall, you have like tall privilege in
- 20:15Speaker 6: a way where sometimes, having had dated a very tall
- 20:18Speaker 6: man back in my day, he was like it was
- 20:20Speaker 6: in the bubble. If you've ever seen thirty Rock, where
- 20:22Speaker 6: John Hamm is in the beautiful bubble. No, it's a
- 20:25Speaker 6: great episode. I'll send it to you. But basically, he's
- 20:27Speaker 6: like so gorgeous. He doesn't realize that other people get
- 20:29Speaker 6: treated differently when you're not like gorgeous and tall. So
- 20:33Speaker 6: maybe he lives in this environment of six foot three
- 20:36Speaker 6: above the clouds, doesn't know what's happening.
- 20:38Speaker 1: And maybe, yeah, I don't know.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Based off of the interactions, I think he just might
- 20:43Speaker 2: be slightly awkward in that scene, which I get because
- 20:45Speaker 2: I've been there too. I've just had to work through
- 20:47Speaker 2: it a little bit. I think that would have just
- 20:49Speaker 2: been it. He just doesn't know how to make the clothes.
- 20:52Speaker 2: He's getting good about the open, he's just really bad
- 20:54Speaker 2: about it.
- 20:55Speaker 1: No, he didn't really well, yeah he did do a
- 20:56Speaker 1: good open.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Yeah, because he walked right up. He's like, how do
- 20:59Speaker 3: you do? He's a kill cowboy.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But so maybe he got nervous. You know, literally all
- 21:06Speaker 1: cowboys lie. That's what my sweatshirt says right now.
- 21:08Speaker 5: So I just don't know how he could have so
- 21:10Speaker 5: much uspa in the beginning and approach us and get
- 21:13Speaker 5: so weird towards the end.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Mmm, maybe just intimidate them. I'm telling you what.
- 21:18Speaker 5: I don't live in the hot girl bubble like I
- 21:20Speaker 5: live in like the SI.
- 21:21Speaker 2: You were out there dancing by the pool, little bathing
- 21:25Speaker 2: suit on.
- 21:25Speaker 1: It's intimidating being.
- 21:26Speaker 2: A guy when there's like literally you walk into a
- 21:28Speaker 2: room and it's like, oh my god, pinch me.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Am I dying? Is this heaven? All these pretty ladies everywhere?
- 21:34Speaker 3: You know, you lose, you lose language, you forget how
- 21:37Speaker 3: to talk. It's very hard.
- 21:41Speaker 2: So I don't know if we I personally I say
- 21:45Speaker 2: we dropped the case of hot Tan Dan.
- 21:46Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 21:47Speaker 2: I think so because I think based off of what
- 21:49Speaker 2: you have said, what our friends in the podcast have said,
- 21:53Speaker 2: this guy has not wooed you, and you want somebody
- 21:56Speaker 2: to woo you very It's not that hard.
- 21:58Speaker 3: It really would have just been like, hey, here's my number.
- 22:00Speaker 5: I do want to know what's going on, though, well
- 22:04Speaker 5: not not a I don't need to closure call, but
- 22:06Speaker 5: I am wondering why.
- 22:11Speaker 1: He didn't go out with her?
- 22:13Speaker 5: Is it like, is it a friend with benefit situation?
- 22:17Speaker 5: Is he actually romantically interested? Is he even a place
- 22:20Speaker 5: to be romantically interested in somebody else?
- 22:21Speaker 3: What do you think you're searching? For in that information.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I'm just like curious.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I'm just like fascinated.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I mean, because it also sounds like sometimes you just
- 22:27Speaker 2: do things for the story. And I mean if she
- 22:29Speaker 2: has all this money and she has this yacht and
- 22:31Speaker 2: sounds like good food, I mean I'm polically.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Guess too, like just for a little bit, like what
- 22:35Speaker 3: a fun story. He's young, he's tall.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Her instagram or his Instagram is yeah, this is just
- 22:42Speaker 5: his business instagram.
- 22:43Speaker 2: No, yeah, we need to get You need to go
- 22:48Speaker 2: out with her and have some drinks and just get
- 22:50Speaker 2: the tea, just for the fun, just for the fund
- 22:52Speaker 2: of the podcast.
- 22:53Speaker 6: I want to be Sugar Mama too. And she there's
- 22:55Speaker 6: something she told me. She wasn invite me to wait.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Hold the phone.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Tell her.
- 22:58Speaker 3: I want to be sugar Mama too. We all want
- 23:00Speaker 3: to be wants to be Sugarbama too.
- 23:02Speaker 6: Is it the thing this weekend that Dan's going to No,
- 23:05Speaker 6: I mean, I'm going to that with my in laws
- 23:07Speaker 6: are in talent, so I can't do it like a
- 23:08Speaker 6: fun way. I'm just kidding, like I'm doing it like
- 23:11Speaker 6: a very PG way, whereas with this person it would
- 23:13Speaker 6: be like a VIP whatever way, but no, we talked
- 23:17Speaker 6: about the yacht club.
- 23:20Speaker 5: Yacht club like going on a yacht or going to
- 23:22Speaker 5: the club.
- 23:23Speaker 6: Both what she.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Now have to leave it at that place.
- 23:30Speaker 6: She has been taking Dan to the yacht club.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Come on, have you got to compete with that? You
- 23:34Speaker 3: live what.
- 23:35Speaker 5: I'm poor, I'm not as hot as her, and I'm
- 23:38Speaker 5: desperately straight.
- 23:41Speaker 3: That's true.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I think it's a Well, if you have another run
- 23:45Speaker 2: in with him, I'd be very curious. It doesn't sound
- 23:48Speaker 2: like he's necessarily the one, but he is hot.
- 23:51Speaker 6: Shut the case down like formally, but I in my
- 23:54Speaker 6: outer workings will do my best to make sure there's
- 23:56Speaker 6: some kind of synergy and then we'll recircle that.
- 23:59Speaker 1: I do just want to know out, like what was
- 24:00Speaker 1: going through? Is that was he just nervous?
- 24:02Speaker 5: Was he too drunk and he was like this seems
- 24:04Speaker 5: like the romantics?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Is he just being friendly?
- 24:07Speaker 2: I don't know. If you guys can't make an eye contact,
- 24:09Speaker 2: I think that's a little different. But yeah, I think
- 24:11Speaker 2: in this case he's on to other sugar mamas.
- 24:14Speaker 1: It's okay, that's one day. I will get my revenge
- 24:18Speaker 1: when I am rich.
- 24:19Speaker 5: That's right. Watch out world, go to my like to
- 24:23Speaker 5: know it if you want to support my relationship with
- 24:25Speaker 5: tan Dan.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, the proceeds any other t before I
- 24:31Speaker 2: put my cup down that we need to address.
- 24:35Speaker 6: I have some I wanted to tell you guys, But okay,
- 24:37Speaker 6: I'll say and I'll be like whatever. Anyways, I found
- 24:40Speaker 6: out that there's an influencer who approached one of our
- 24:43Speaker 6: salespeople to try to be on your talent with us.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And wait with us, like the.
- 24:50Speaker 3: Magic sphere, figure out who it is.
- 24:52Speaker 5: I don't know, I don't wait. Applied to the Instagram.
- 24:55Speaker 5: We we'll blind react.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Well.
- 24:56Speaker 6: I just found it interesting because I'm like, they might
- 24:58Speaker 6: listen to this, I might love them.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I probably fallow them too. Actually, I want to see
- 25:01Speaker 3: if I follow them.
- 25:01Speaker 1: One of our sales.
- 25:02Speaker 6: People I came up to me and said, oh, this
- 25:05Speaker 6: person told me that they know you, and they in
- 25:07Speaker 6: the same breath, were like, oh, can you send my
- 25:09Speaker 6: information to the programming?
- 25:12Speaker 1: And you know, sometimes you're like okay.
- 25:14Speaker 6: People just like that have never done radio think they
- 25:17Speaker 6: can just roll up and be like yeah, like I'm
- 25:19Speaker 6: an influencer, I can do radio, blah blah blah.
- 25:21Speaker 3: So I just found it interesting. Oh my god wait
- 25:24Speaker 3: wait wait wait wait wait.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm in radio and I can do influencing.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, I have talked to this person.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Let me see, Yeah, I have to see.
- 25:32Speaker 2: I think they more so interested in trying to like
- 25:34Speaker 2: partner with us and stuff, or they're trying to be
- 25:36Speaker 2: on the air.
- 25:37Speaker 6: I've never on any ear waves essentially, so, but it's
- 25:41Speaker 6: just funny when you're like.
- 25:42Speaker 3: You know what, I like that make radio cool again?
- 25:44Speaker 3: Damn it. We are the new scene. We are watch
- 25:46Speaker 3: out World.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Even though we're not on the radio right now, we're
- 25:48Speaker 2: doing a podcast same thing similar, just not live and
- 25:52Speaker 2: could be edited. But you know what, awesome, right, I mean,
- 25:55Speaker 2: i'd be so curious that is.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Actually, you know, it's just some tea you know that
- 25:59Speaker 1: I heard yesterday.
- 26:00Speaker 6: So I wanted to tell.
- 26:01Speaker 2: You guys trying to snipe one of our jobs too.
- 26:05Speaker 6: That's like, oh okay, but you know what, I can't
- 26:09Speaker 6: put her hustle down. No power to someone who's like,
- 26:12Speaker 6: I'm gonna take that step and put myself out there,
- 26:14Speaker 6: because that's how.
- 26:15Speaker 1: You get anywhere, that's how you get soil you do it.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I mean that really is especially honestly, with that amount
- 26:19Speaker 2: of followers that you're like, you know what, I'm sure
- 26:22Speaker 2: a company like ours would try to find a way
- 26:25Speaker 2: to make it work.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Maybe maybe it doesn't seem like it's a brand match.
- 26:29Speaker 5: It's not necessarily a I don't think she could do
- 26:31Speaker 5: the job.
- 26:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think it's Well, that's in my longer
- 26:34Speaker 2: thought that I've already had in the past ten seconds.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Maybe a different station, that's what I was thinking.
- 26:38Speaker 2: I was like, I don't think magic, but I think
- 26:40Speaker 2: maybe there's a place that potentially maybe, but again I'm
- 26:44Speaker 2: in favor shoot that shot.
- 26:46Speaker 3: But in that same sentence, I know what you're saying, Alexi.
- 26:48Speaker 3: It's like, it's easy to look at this and be like, oh,
- 26:51Speaker 3: it's so easy.
- 26:52Speaker 2: All you do is talk all day, And then whenever
- 26:55Speaker 2: I have friends that say that, I was like, well,
- 26:57Speaker 2: for the next ten minutes, I just want you talking.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm just gonna say here and listen a little harder,
- 27:02Speaker 3: a little.
- 27:03Speaker 1: More awkward talking is willy hard.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Well, to make it interesting, to make it fun to
- 27:07Speaker 3: story tell. Yeah, yeah, that's part that.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Like, behind the scenes, you're working through and you're getting
- 27:13Speaker 2: better at and we literally have coaches that try to
- 27:15Speaker 2: help us with it. So I do like the respect
- 27:17Speaker 2: when people are like, man, I could never do that.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I'm like, I appreciate you saying that.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Because I look at other people's jobs and I go,
- 27:23Speaker 5: I can never be a cardiothoracic surgeon.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I can't literally other people's jobs. I don't understand them
- 27:29Speaker 2: like anything like I had. You know, my last relationship,
- 27:31Speaker 2: she was a recruiter, and it took me three years
- 27:33Speaker 2: to understand what the hell that did. I had no idea.
- 27:36Speaker 2: My brother's an engineer. He's always been an engineer. I
- 27:38Speaker 2: still don't know what he does on a day to day.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I just know what do engineers do?
- 27:41Speaker 3: I don't know, but I know he goes out the
- 27:42Speaker 3: fields and he tests soil.
- 27:44Speaker 1: My husband does.
- 27:44Speaker 6: My husband's an environmental scientist.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Do you know what he does?
- 27:47Speaker 6: Absolutely not, No, I just know he flies a drone
- 27:49Speaker 6: and so I told him to put that drone over
- 27:51Speaker 6: me when I'm in fun locations. So that's why I
- 27:55Speaker 6: get a lot of cool drone content.
- 27:56Speaker 3: But sounds so freaky, do you all? I'm not gonna ask.
- 27:59Speaker 6: And I mean, you know, like I kind of am
- 28:01Speaker 6: a jack of all trades, like I came from the
- 28:04Speaker 6: home shopping network, which was live TV and then shifted
- 28:06Speaker 6: to like marketing stuff, and then back to radio, which
- 28:09Speaker 6: I started out as a little girl. So it's interesting
- 28:12Speaker 6: to have seen how broad communications is as a spectrum
- 28:15Speaker 6: and all of the different components, but how it all
- 28:18Speaker 6: circles back to the same you know, storytelling, but the
- 28:21Speaker 6: artwork of radios, the inflictions of your voice, the tone,
- 28:25Speaker 6: you know, how you're hooking people with the audio. It's
- 28:27Speaker 6: a totally different ballpark that sometimes if you're just a
- 28:29Speaker 6: social media content creator, you don't really understand the complexities
- 28:33Speaker 6: of it all. Yeah, So that was where that thought
- 28:34Speaker 6: came from.
- 28:35Speaker 5: Cause people follow you for different reasons. I think people
- 28:37Speaker 5: tune into the radio because they want somebody that's sitting
- 28:39Speaker 5: in their car with them, just gabbin. But sometimes people
- 28:42Speaker 5: follow an influencer because they're aspirational. But sometimes aspirational people
- 28:45Speaker 5: are not fun to listen to because you're like, Okay,
- 28:48Speaker 5: we get it, your life is perfect, you so much
- 28:50Speaker 5: fun all the time, Whereas I.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Think sometimes say they need someone in their you who
- 28:54Speaker 1: she's like, it's gonna be okay, Yeah.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Try to keep it real. Sometimes I feel like, hmm,
- 28:58Speaker 2: that's interesting. How do you feel about my social media?
- 29:01Speaker 1: What you think I'm like subtweeting you with that?
- 29:03Speaker 3: I know, yeah, I feel like a little bit of
- 29:04Speaker 3: a problem. No, thank you, alexis coming back.
- 29:06Speaker 5: Here because you're different. You're a motivational speaker.
- 29:11Speaker 1: That's your thing.
- 29:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but I never because I think some people look
- 29:13Speaker 2: at it like, oh my god, it's so perfect, and
- 29:15Speaker 2: I'm like, no, it ain't.
- 29:17Speaker 3: That's why I like, literally I put up a video yesha.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I was like, by the way, literally internally freaking out
- 29:21Speaker 2: right now, Well, then everybody could see thank you.
- 29:23Speaker 5: Maybe this is your sign to just be to show
- 29:26Speaker 5: more of the mess if you feel like maybe you're
- 29:27Speaker 5: being too polished.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I know.
- 29:29Speaker 6: You know.
- 29:29Speaker 2: It was interesting those yesterday because I have the so
- 29:31Speaker 2: series called Dare to Dream. I put on seminars and
- 29:33Speaker 2: I'm trying to do more and more with it. But
- 29:35Speaker 2: as i'm doing it, I don't want to. There's a
- 29:37Speaker 2: thought that's like, well, if you reveal too much, does
- 29:40Speaker 2: that take away your credibility?
- 29:42Speaker 3: Because again, I'm coaching people on living their dream.
- 29:44Speaker 2: I'm coaching people and creating that life that they've always
- 29:47Speaker 2: thought about. So if I show the messy sides of it,
- 29:50Speaker 2: does that take away from my credibility of living it?
- 29:52Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I don't think so either.
- 29:53Speaker 5: There's got to be a good balance because I think
- 29:55Speaker 5: to some extent, I could be more polished on social media,
- 29:58Speaker 5: Like I don't think that's more Yeah, I don't think
- 30:00Speaker 5: that's why. And let me make it very clear, I
- 30:02Speaker 5: was not subtweeting either of you.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Well, I did not feel that way at all.
- 30:05Speaker 3: But are you attacking Alexia?
- 30:06Speaker 1: No?
- 30:07Speaker 5: No, I just mean I had to unfollow a lot
- 30:09Speaker 5: of women because I would just get so annoyed being like,
- 30:12Speaker 5: I just am so sick of your life looking perfect
- 30:14Speaker 5: all the time. And I know that tard putting yourself
- 30:16Speaker 5: out there and showing flaws or just being messy, Like,
- 30:19Speaker 5: I understand that puts a target on your back, but
- 30:20Speaker 5: I was like, I just don't want to follow that
- 30:22Speaker 5: because I don't want to see it.
- 30:23Speaker 1: All the time.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Whereas the people that I follow, I'm like, I just
- 30:26Speaker 5: want to see you with no makeup in your kitchen
- 30:27Speaker 5: with your kids.
- 30:28Speaker 3: You know who I love? Who's your favorite influencer?
- 30:31Speaker 1: There's a couple.
- 30:31Speaker 5: So I'm not Again, to be fair, I'm also not
- 30:33Speaker 5: a big influencer follower.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I have been keeping up with Danny.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Austen because she just had like her fourth kid and
- 30:39Speaker 5: she had this violent pregnancy or she had this violent
- 30:44Speaker 5: birth experience she did she did it unmedicated, and I
- 30:47Speaker 5: was gripped. I was like, I am so impressed that
- 30:49Speaker 5: you are able to go through this unmedicated birth and
- 30:51Speaker 5: also vlog the whole thing.
- 30:53Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 30:54Speaker 6: I cannot consume mommy content. I really I can't do
- 30:57Speaker 6: mommy content. I'm like, it gives me anxiety because I'm
- 31:00Speaker 6: in that stage of life where I need to figure
- 31:01Speaker 6: out if I want to be a mom or not.
- 31:02Speaker 6: Oh God, when I see the mommy content, I'm like
- 31:04Speaker 6: triggered to my overreasart buzzing.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I need to make a decision. I think you have
- 31:08Speaker 1: a couple more years.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I mean, like what, I'm a lot more than I
- 31:12Speaker 3: don't know.
- 31:13Speaker 6: Listen, I don't let anyone set boundaries on my timeline.
- 31:17Speaker 6: But like a career was always first. I come from divorce.
- 31:20Speaker 6: I just for the maternal instinct was not there has
- 31:24Speaker 6: never really been there. I don't even have a plant
- 31:25Speaker 6: or a pet. So I think my content like reflects
- 31:29Speaker 6: that where I like to share the aspirational components, but
- 31:32Speaker 6: also like the real and authentic local community. That's like
- 31:35Speaker 6: really my goal. But I do agree that like the authenticity,
- 31:39Speaker 6: the being messy and raw and real. Sometimes when when
- 31:41Speaker 6: you share that, you get more engagement than you ever
- 31:43Speaker 6: would have thought you would receive. And it's the highly
- 31:45Speaker 6: produced videos to get like zero engagement.
- 31:47Speaker 1: No literally, like I don't care, they just they just
- 31:50Speaker 1: want to see you.
- 31:50Speaker 5: Like that's I think why sometimes when I'm when creativity strikes,
- 31:54Speaker 5: I'm like, screw the makeup, screw the hair, just film me,
- 31:57Speaker 5: and you have to like be un Yeah, you kind
- 32:00Speaker 5: of just have to be like whatever, just do it,
- 32:01Speaker 5: Just do it, just put it out there and at
- 32:03Speaker 5: some point there will be another good video of me
- 32:05Speaker 5: with hair and makeup, but today that is not.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Today, Alexi.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite influencer somebody that you love
- 32:10Speaker 2: to see their content.
- 32:12Speaker 6: There's a few, but I really love Kat Stickler. Cat
- 32:16Speaker 6: Stickler local to Tampa Bay, I mean allegedly dating John Mayer.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Would love that she hangs out Andy Cohen like living
- 32:23Speaker 6: the life and also just showcases being a real mom
- 32:27Speaker 6: in a fun, also polished, beautiful, stylish way. But I
- 32:29Speaker 6: love how authentic she is and showcasing her relationship with
- 32:31Speaker 6: her daughter.
- 32:32Speaker 1: It's so beautiful.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Like that's somebody that I've seen go both angles.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Like she put up a picture of maybe like two
- 32:37Speaker 2: days ago. I was like, cat get it girl. And
- 32:40Speaker 2: then also she would just be in her car like
- 32:41Speaker 2: literally balling her eyes out and just being like, I
- 32:43Speaker 2: don't care what happens in these comments. I want to
- 32:45Speaker 2: be so real with what's happening in my life. And
- 32:47Speaker 2: I'm like, damn, And that's somebody I followed for years.
- 32:49Speaker 2: We had her on years ago on the show and
- 32:52Speaker 2: on the podcast to talk to her, and I remember
- 32:55Speaker 2: having that com I was like, this is unreal, and
- 32:57Speaker 2: it's like both of us were kind of nervous to
- 32:58Speaker 2: be in the room. It's in the room doing the podcast,
- 33:01Speaker 2: and you get sense that's like this is a new territory.
- 33:03Speaker 2: And I was freaking out because I'm like, you literally
- 33:05Speaker 2: have millions of people following you every single day and
- 33:07Speaker 2: you're here.
- 33:08Speaker 3: In the studio.
- 33:08Speaker 2: But what's really cool is especially local influencers, is like
- 33:11Speaker 2: she'll put up a video and I'm like, I've been there,
- 33:14Speaker 2: or she'll put up a video like out a lightning game,
- 33:15Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh my.
- 33:16Speaker 3: God, Cat's just like me.
- 33:20Speaker 1: You drop the address.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Now I've done the same, and I'm like, oh, that's
- 33:25Speaker 2: pretty cool. But it's cool to see somebody what I love.
- 33:27Speaker 2: And I wish we could see more of the behind
- 33:29Speaker 2: the scenes of people, especially people that we look up to,
- 33:32Speaker 2: because I feel like with Cat, we've gotten to see
- 33:34Speaker 2: like where it started, how her popularity grew, like how
- 33:38Speaker 2: her like literally how she's living a whole new life,
- 33:40Speaker 2: and if you followed long enough, you literally got to
- 33:42Speaker 2: see it.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Just it was a normal life.
- 33:44Speaker 2: She had, you know, a relationship and a kid, and
- 33:46Speaker 2: it was just kind of posting for fun. And now
- 33:48Speaker 2: she's balling. I mean, I don't know her finances, but
- 33:50Speaker 2: she's balling. She'd be balling, and you know she earned
- 33:53Speaker 2: every step of that. I think that's the part that
- 33:55Speaker 2: I love, and dare.
- 33:55Speaker 6: I say that our listeners are excited to be part
- 33:58Speaker 6: of this magic because it's kind of like watching Abby
- 34:01Speaker 6: and Scottie, Scotty and Abby Scabby who from something like that.
- 34:05Speaker 6: Literally I was thinking about it all the way here.
- 34:07Speaker 6: I was like, Abby, like just started a hot minute ago,
- 34:09Speaker 6: and I feel like you're already so integrated into the
- 34:12Speaker 6: brand and into everything. That magic is that it just
- 34:15Speaker 6: feels so organic and seamless, and our listeners and viewers
- 34:19Speaker 6: now for social media, can watch you guys take off
- 34:22Speaker 6: and all rising waters raise, all the ships. So I
- 34:25Speaker 6: feel very much part of it, and I'm so excited
- 34:27Speaker 6: and honored. But I feel like seeing the comments on
- 34:29Speaker 6: social media, that's what our listeners are feeling too. With
- 34:31Speaker 6: you guys, know you're establishing that too.
- 34:35Speaker 2: I mean, that's honestly, and I really appreciate you saying
- 34:37Speaker 2: that because that's what gets me so excited is being
- 34:39Speaker 2: able to show people, you know, the whole journey. And
- 34:42Speaker 2: we said that on like day one of this podcast.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Is I want you to be there from the moment
- 34:45Speaker 2: that Abby and I have had our first conversations to
- 34:48Speaker 2: whatever the hell the future brings, because I want you
- 34:51Speaker 2: to be able to be part of that story. Because literally,
- 34:53Speaker 2: without you listening, without you clicking, without you liking or commenting,
- 34:56Speaker 2: none of this happens. It could just be two people,
- 34:59Speaker 2: three people in a room talking and you just wish
- 35:01Speaker 2: somebody cares, and to know that people do, that's amazing
- 35:05Speaker 2: because the goal has always been and will always be
- 35:08Speaker 2: to continue to connect, spread awareness, inspire and form all
- 35:12Speaker 2: those different outlets of why we started this.
- 35:14Speaker 3: But yeah, that's why it's like.
- 35:16Speaker 2: We're three weeks in, not even a month, and I
- 35:18Speaker 2: feel like there's already been so many stories shared, so
- 35:21Speaker 2: many connections made, and it's just the beginning of what
- 35:24Speaker 2: will hopefully be along road ahead. There it is, and
- 35:33Speaker 2: with that, we'll go ahead and close out the week.
- 35:36Speaker 3: Abby. What is your social media.
- 35:38Speaker 1: At the Abby Murphy on all platforms.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Alexia if you want to see some of the coolest events,
- 35:44Speaker 2: some of the best photos, and also tangent really quick.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Where the heck is our thirst trap photo? Alexia?
- 35:50Speaker 5: Oh yeah, literally, me and and Scott. Every day go
- 35:54Speaker 5: where's that hot photo of all of us?
- 35:55Speaker 3: We all take a picture by the pole.
- 35:57Speaker 6: I was going to post it this weekend saying like
- 35:59Speaker 6: some day Funday with the Magical Trio everyone. As long
- 36:03Speaker 6: as I know it's coming, I was gonna do it
- 36:04Speaker 6: this weekend, was my plan. So if you're okay with it,
- 36:06Speaker 6: but I'll send it to you. Ready to collab with
- 36:08Speaker 6: all of us on that Yes, and we look so hot,
- 36:10Speaker 6: you guys are going to freak out or like the
- 36:12Speaker 6: Sunday Funday Pool Party trio you always needed and follow
- 36:15Speaker 6: me on the Gala life. On all social media.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Platforms, be sure to tag Hot Tan Dan.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Just send it, Just send it into in the DMS,
- 36:22Speaker 5: be like, hey, aren't your sugar mama should run out
- 36:25Speaker 5: of money yet.

- 36:29Speaker 2: You do that and we just post random guys from
- 36:31Speaker 2: Tampa Bay anyway. With that at Scott Tablin is mine
- 36:35Speaker 2: s c O T T T A V l I N.

- 36:41Speaker 2: next week
