Latest / Midnight Movie Theatre / Boulder vs Vegas: The Stand (1994) Episode 3 Explained
Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: The Stand Mini Series, Part three, The Betrayal. I just
- 0:24Speaker 1: recently picked up a copy of The Stand. I listened
- 0:27Speaker 1: to the audio book, and now we're going to we're
- 0:30Speaker 1: going to do the real deal. I just got started
- 0:33Speaker 1: on it, so I'm a few chapters in. Hopefully I'll
- 0:37Speaker 1: be able to make enough episodes about The Stand mini
- 0:41Speaker 1: series long enough for me to finish this big bastard.
- 0:44Speaker 1: We'll see if that's going to be possible. I'm gonna
- 0:46Speaker 1: have to come up with a lot of bullshit to
- 0:48Speaker 1: talk about with the ABUC nineteen ninety four mini series,
- 0:52Speaker 1: The Stand. If I'm going to ride this thing out
- 0:55Speaker 1: long enough to finish this damn book. I think the
- 0:58Speaker 1: audio books like forty eight hours long, so I don't
- 1:03Speaker 1: think I'm gonna finish this in that same amount of time.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I was able to kind of cruise through the audio book.
- 1:08Speaker 1: You know, anytime you're doing chores, anytime you're driving, you
- 1:11Speaker 1: just throw the fucking thing on. You knock out a
- 1:13Speaker 1: few hours here and there. Before you know it, it's done.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Part three of the mini series covers Book two of
- 1:21Speaker 1: The Stand. It's basically just showing everything that's going on
- 1:24Speaker 1: in the Boulder, Colorado, free Zone. I think we get
- 1:28Speaker 1: a couple short glimpses at Las Vegas at Flag Vegas,
- 1:32Speaker 1: if you know what I'm saying. Flag Vegas is so
- 1:35Speaker 1: confusing to me because he's like, he's not the devil,
- 1:38Speaker 1: but he's like the Devil's imp or something like that,
- 1:41Speaker 1: I think is how it's described. And he hates when
- 1:45Speaker 1: people do bad shit. He like kills them for drinking
- 1:49Speaker 1: too much or like doing drugs. Like I just remember
- 1:52Speaker 1: a part in the book when he finds out that
- 1:54Speaker 1: this guy's doing drugs, so he like he crucifies him
- 1:58Speaker 1: on a telephone poll or he wipes his brain so
- 2:01Speaker 1: that he just wanders around aimlessly in the desert for
- 2:04Speaker 1: the rest of his life with his brain scrambled, just
- 2:07Speaker 1: for doing too many drugs. And it's like, aren't you
- 2:10Speaker 1: the aren't you the devil? Aren't you supposed to love
- 2:12Speaker 1: that shit? Shouldn't you be fucking partying with these guys too?
- 2:16Speaker 1: What are you some kind of straight edge devil? Fuck
- 2:18Speaker 1: fucking pussy. I'm going to try to avoid talking about
- 2:22Speaker 1: the book too much, though, because I realized in my
- 2:25Speaker 1: last episode, after I started reading the book again, that
- 2:28Speaker 1: I've already completely forgot how some of the things went
- 2:32Speaker 1: in the book Compared to the mini series. I think
- 2:34Speaker 1: some of the ways that I imagined Fran's character in
- 2:38Speaker 1: the book were quite a bit different, like her interaction
- 2:41Speaker 1: with Jesse. Basically, everything about the book is just way
- 2:44Speaker 1: more detailed. So I'm just gonna we're gonna avoid the
- 2:47Speaker 1: book again. Although I didn't do a good job of
- 2:50Speaker 1: it last time, I am going to do a good
- 2:52Speaker 1: job at this time. I promise There's no way I'm
- 2:55Speaker 1: gonna fuck that up this time. One thing I didn't
- 2:59Speaker 1: mention in the last episode does the In part two
- 3:01Speaker 1: you do get to see Randall Flegg's jugs, and they
- 3:04Speaker 1: are pretty big. He might have the biggest jugs besides
- 3:07Speaker 1: Mother Abigail in the whole movie, in case you're wondering.
- 3:11Speaker 1: In case you're wondering who has the biggest chugs, it's
- 3:14Speaker 1: probably Randall flags jugs. Okay, So episode three, it starts
- 3:18Speaker 1: out they're just doing an operation. There's no like leading
- 3:22Speaker 1: into it or anything. It just abruptly cuts to Stu
- 3:25Speaker 1: and his party. They're taking this guy's appendix out. And
- 3:29Speaker 1: this is one of the things about this whole Captain
- 3:32Speaker 1: Tripp's Plague that is very scary that you would probably
- 3:36Speaker 1: slowly start to realize that, like, damn, I can't I
- 3:40Speaker 1: can't like break my leg, I can't do anything to
- 3:44Speaker 1: get hurt or be in like a compromised state, like
- 3:48Speaker 1: just having your appendix burst or you know, get ready
- 3:51Speaker 1: to burst or whatever. It's like, well, if you don't
- 3:54Speaker 1: have a doctor around, and you don't have a hospital
- 3:56Speaker 1: to do a sterile operation, and you're probably fucked, You're
- 4:00Speaker 1: probably gonna have a real hard time getting through that.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Plus the aftermath. Yikes. That one really hit home. I
- 4:07Speaker 1: about had my appendix burst one time, and I just
- 4:10Speaker 1: kept putting it off and putting it off because I
- 4:13Speaker 1: didn't realize what was going on. I just thought my
- 4:15Speaker 1: stomach was hurting for I don't even know why. It
- 4:18Speaker 1: was just like every couple of weeks, my stomach would
- 4:20Speaker 1: hurt really bad, and it got to the point where
- 4:22Speaker 1: I was just like carrying around a bottle of pepto
- 4:24Speaker 1: bismol with me, and I would just be drinking like
- 4:26Speaker 1: straight from the bottle, like a fuck, just like this.
- 4:30Speaker 1: At the same time, it felt like there was an
- 4:31Speaker 1: animal inside my belly trying to crawl its way out,
- 4:34Speaker 1: trying to chew out of my stomach. He got to
- 4:37Speaker 1: the point where I was just at work and I
- 4:39Speaker 1: couldn't walk anymore. That's all I could do, was like
- 4:42Speaker 1: hunch over. And I was like, oh, fuck, I think
- 4:44Speaker 1: I need to go home, and they're like, yeah, you
- 4:46Speaker 1: probably should. So I just went home and like laid
- 4:48Speaker 1: on the couch for a while and was like, I
- 4:49Speaker 1: think I fucking died. And then eventually, you know, went
- 4:54Speaker 1: to the hospital. They're like, yeah, your appendix is about
- 4:56Speaker 1: the burst. Motherfucker, we needed to prep you for surgery
- 4:59Speaker 1: right now. And they and they took it out and
- 5:01Speaker 1: it was great. And that's the difference between this the
- 5:04Speaker 1: stand world that we're living in in this movie. This
- 5:07Speaker 1: guy fucking dies, they're doing the operation on him, and
- 5:09Speaker 1: Stu's got like an old medical textbook out and he's
- 5:12Speaker 1: just like, get the god damn it, get this fucking
- 5:14Speaker 1: thing out of my face. God damn it looking pissing
- 5:19Speaker 1: me off? Can I stand that fucking thing? Fucking goddamn it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Pop filter, motherfucker. Oh sick of it. Honestly, fucks god
- 5:29Speaker 1: damn it. Never again am I ever getting a fucking
- 5:32Speaker 1: buying a pop filter? What a waste of what a
- 5:35Speaker 1: fucking scam. Pop filters are when you think about it,
- 5:39Speaker 1: all these studio bitches talking about, oh, you gotta have
- 5:42Speaker 1: a pop filter otherwise your PE's are gonna sound bad.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Who fucking cares. Shut the fuck up, motherfuckers. Anyway, Stu's
- 5:49Speaker 1: doing the operation. He's looking through like a textbook, like
- 5:52Speaker 1: probably a school book or something, and he's like, all right,
- 5:55Speaker 1: gotta snip you here and gotta snip your hare. And
- 5:57Speaker 1: before this, Stu worked at a cowlator factory, so he's
- 6:01Speaker 1: probably the most qualified person to be doing this, to
- 6:04Speaker 1: be honest, it basically just boils down to Stu's the hero.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Stuve's got that hero mentality where he's just like, somebody's
- 6:11Speaker 1: got to do it. Fucking Stu's gonna step up and
- 6:13Speaker 1: do that shit. You need your appendix taken out. Lay down, motherfucker,
- 6:17Speaker 1: we're gonna take it out. It is a really like
- 6:19Speaker 1: heavy scene though, because I think it's his uh, I
- 6:22Speaker 1: don't know if it's his wife or his girlfriend or something.
- 6:24Speaker 1: The guy that's having the appendix taken out of him
- 6:27Speaker 1: is just kind of like cradling his head while it's happening,
- 6:30Speaker 1: and Stu's still trying to figure out like exactly what
- 6:33Speaker 1: to do. You know, he's got the guy cut open,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and he's like, all right, I just got to snip
- 6:36Speaker 1: here and snip here and then we'll take this shit
- 6:39Speaker 1: out in The lady's like you can stop now, and
- 6:41Speaker 1: Stu's kind of like, what do you mean We're almost done,
- 6:43Speaker 1: and he's like she's like he's dead, and they just
- 6:46Speaker 1: cover him up and Stu is like, mother fuckerr and
- 6:49Speaker 1: he just like fucking throws his scalpels across the floor
- 6:52Speaker 1: the fucking room and he's just like, son of a bitch.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It's like he's working and it's like he's someone's dad
- 6:58Speaker 1: working on a car or something like. He's like hold
- 7:01Speaker 1: the fucking flashlight, steady. And they're just like, sorry, stew
- 7:05Speaker 1: he died. So they leave there. You know, Franny's fucking upset.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Everybody's upset. They're just like, son of a bitch. That sucks.
- 7:12Speaker 1: We thought we were gonna say this guy, it would
- 7:14Speaker 1: not be fun at all to just have to try
- 7:16Speaker 1: to figure out how to do a surgery on somebody,
- 7:18Speaker 1: like pop up surgery. Here you go, you know, start
- 7:22Speaker 1: the clock. It's like one of them, damn cooking shows
- 7:24Speaker 1: or whatever where they surprise you with a dish and
- 7:26Speaker 1: they're like, you gotta make this dish in sixty seconds
- 7:29Speaker 1: or whatever, and they put the timer on and Jordan
- 7:32Speaker 1: Ramsey's just fucking screaming at you the whole time. Goddamn motherfucker,
- 7:36Speaker 1: make the fucking food. That's what's happening to Stu right now.
- 7:39Speaker 1: But he's like, I gotta take his fucking appendix out. Dude.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I'd be sweating all over that guy's fucking cut open body.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'd be sitting there fucking dripping in him. He would
- 7:47Speaker 1: definitely get infected if I had to cut his damn
- 7:49Speaker 1: appendix out. Don't ever let me do that shit. I
- 7:52Speaker 1: would not like it. So they get out of there,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and uh, you know, we see a pivotal character join
- 7:59Speaker 1: the party. The He's another great character, doesn't get as
- 8:03Speaker 1: much screen time as I think that he deserves. The
- 8:06Speaker 1: Judge doesn't get as much screen time. Old Judge doesn't
- 8:09Speaker 1: get enough screen time. In my opinion, I think he
- 8:12Speaker 1: should be in this movie more. I like the Judge
- 8:14Speaker 1: a lot as a character. You know, he pops up,
- 8:16Speaker 1: he's pretty cool. He does say some cool shit, but
- 8:20Speaker 1: he not in the movie that much, at least, like
- 8:22Speaker 1: as far as we're seeing right now. During this section
- 8:25Speaker 1: of the book, he was popping up a lot more
- 8:27Speaker 1: and had a lot more to say. So, but we
- 8:29Speaker 1: got the judge, and I think that's pretty great, So
- 8:32Speaker 1: good for us. So they're just kind of hanging out,
- 8:34Speaker 1: you know, riding their motorcycles and shit, going on their
- 8:37Speaker 1: way to Boulder, Colorado. They're hauling ass, and at some
- 8:41Speaker 1: point Stu kind of goes off to go fishing or something.
- 8:44Speaker 1: He's like still pissed off about the guy that died
- 8:47Speaker 1: with the appendix, and he's just like, son up a bitch,
- 8:50Speaker 1: you know, I better go fish relieve some of the
- 8:52Speaker 1: stress in my head. And Frannie finds him and she's
- 8:55Speaker 1: just kind of like, Stu, I gotta tell you something.
- 8:57Speaker 1: And he's like what's up. And she's like, I'm pregnant
- 9:01Speaker 1: and he's just like nice, that's pretty cool. And then
- 9:04Speaker 1: they make out and they make out the same way
- 9:06Speaker 1: that Jim Carrey makes out with Mary and Dumb and Dummer,
- 9:10Speaker 1: Like when they their face is just kind of like, uh,
- 9:15Speaker 1: that whole face is just kind of like sucking to
- 9:16Speaker 1: each other, you know what I'm saying. It's kind of
- 9:19Speaker 1: like one of those type of makeout sessions, which you know,
- 9:22Speaker 1: that's that's kind of what you expect when you make
- 9:25Speaker 1: out next to a cooler full of dead fish, You're
- 9:28Speaker 1: gonna get some quality kissing. But Harold sees this or whatever.
- 9:33Speaker 1: You know, Harold's kind of spying around. He thinks something's up.
- 9:36Speaker 1: He knew stuw is gonna steal his bitch from day one,
- 9:38Speaker 1: so he's just been like on that motherfucker, Stu Redman.
- 9:41Speaker 1: He's always stepping up to the plate and doing all
- 9:44Speaker 1: the right shit, and I'm just like an evil little
- 9:46Speaker 1: prick that just wants free pussy. And I think I
- 9:50Speaker 1: mentioned this in the last episode. This is kind of
- 9:52Speaker 1: that thing where you see why it's so confusing. If
- 9:55Speaker 1: you haven't read the book, you see why it would
- 9:57Speaker 1: be really confusing as to like they can he kind
- 10:00Speaker 1: of seem like a couple at this point. Anyway, you know,
- 10:02Speaker 1: they just start making out after Stu hears this news
- 10:05Speaker 1: and he seems really happy about it. You kind of
- 10:08Speaker 1: get the feeling that like, oh, it's probably Stu's baby,
- 10:11Speaker 1: you know, but it's not. It's Jesse's baby. At least
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm almost I mean it is in the book. It's
- 10:16Speaker 1: Jesse's baby in the book. I'm pretty sure it's still
- 10:19Speaker 1: Jesse's baby in the movie. They just don't really, at
- 10:21Speaker 1: least at this point, don't really talk about it that much.
- 10:24Speaker 1: And for whatever reason, they go out and they're just like,
- 10:28Speaker 1: you know, Harold sees them fucking in the woods or whatever,
- 10:31Speaker 1: and he is just mad as hell, like he's he
- 10:34Speaker 1: basically just does that thing where he's like watching him
- 10:36Speaker 1: and he's like and he fucking grabs like a stick
- 10:40Speaker 1: in his hand and he fucking breaks it, and he's like, God,
- 10:43Speaker 1: damn it, I was supposed to be me. But he
- 10:47Speaker 1: just walks off and he's like polishing his motorcycle or
- 10:50Speaker 1: he's he's trying to do something. He's like trying to
- 10:52Speaker 1: add like a like a sippy cup holder to his
- 10:55Speaker 1: motorcycle because he's a fucking little baby. He's just like
- 10:58Speaker 1: fucking with wrenches and stuff. And Stu and Fran they
- 11:00Speaker 1: walk up and for whatever reason, they're just like holding
- 11:03Speaker 1: the hands, you know, like acting like happy as hell,
- 11:06Speaker 1: and they're just like, Harold, we got some damn news
- 11:08Speaker 1: for you. And he's just like, oh yeah, what's going on?
- 11:12Speaker 1: And they're just like, Fran's pregnant and he just looks
- 11:15Speaker 1: at me. He's like, huh eat, I like that, and
- 11:19Speaker 1: he's just they're just kind of like, oh, okay, well
- 11:22Speaker 1: that's cool, you know. And he's just like, yeah, I'm
- 11:25Speaker 1: really happy. And also I know that you guys are
- 11:28Speaker 1: dating or whatever you want to call it right now
- 11:30Speaker 1: bucking in the woods a bareback style, and they're just like, yeah, okay,
- 11:35Speaker 1: you're okay with that too, and he's like, I am.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I am okay with it, and I'm very happy. And
- 11:40Speaker 1: he like does this thing where he goes over to Fran.
- 11:42Speaker 1: He's just like just so you know, Fran, I love you,
- 11:45Speaker 1: and he kisses her on the cheek and then he
- 11:48Speaker 1: looks at Stu and he's just like still friends, right,
- 11:51Speaker 1: and Stud's like, yeah, I don't give a shit, Give
- 11:54Speaker 1: a shit, bitch, kiss around the cheeks all you want,
- 11:56Speaker 1: you little bitch. And they're just like great Off the Bull, Colorado.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But before we go to Boulder, Colorado, we need to
- 12:03Speaker 1: stop in Las Vegas and see what's going on here.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And like I said before, it's like a damn mushroom
- 12:09Speaker 1: head concert the whole time. It's basically like the gathering
- 12:12Speaker 1: of the jugglows going on in Las Vegas, like twenty
- 12:15Speaker 1: four to seven. It's a shithole, but we do see
- 12:18Speaker 1: that people are starting to clean it up. They're cleaning
- 12:20Speaker 1: it up in like the most insane clown posse way possible,
- 12:23Speaker 1: though it just looks very dirty still. It's like they're
- 12:26Speaker 1: cleaning it and for some reason, it's almost making it worse.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's like, now, just leave the trash and the dead bodies.
- 12:32Speaker 1: You guys don't need to be touching all that shit.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You guys are kind of fucking doing a terrible job,
- 12:36Speaker 1: to be honest. Maybe that's why Randall Flake's so like
- 12:38Speaker 1: strict about discipline. He just shows up and he's like,
- 12:41Speaker 1: fuck you guys, why do I got all these fucking
- 12:43Speaker 1: idiots that can't even clean up the fucking streets, right fuckers.
- 12:47Speaker 1: He's just got like everybody that's covered in motor oil
- 12:51Speaker 1: for some reason and like has fucking dirt and shit
- 12:54Speaker 1: all over their faces. Oh no, it's like everybody in Boulder,
- 12:57Speaker 1: Colorado looks clean as hell and like they been taking
- 13:00Speaker 1: bass and shit. But everybody in Las Vegas is like
- 13:03Speaker 1: a dirty fuck and it's hilarious. Ah shit, maybe that's
- 13:09Speaker 1: why Randall Flag's so pissed off the whole time. He's
- 13:12Speaker 1: like spying on Boulder Cut and he's like, motherfuckers look
- 13:15Speaker 1: like they actually smell good, and shit, what the fuck?
- 13:17Speaker 1: Their houses are like decorated and kind of normal looking.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Everybody over here looks like a goddamn fucking freak. Trash
- 13:28Speaker 1: Can man, he wakes up in a hotel room and
- 13:30Speaker 1: he's like, holy fuck, I'm I'm in Las Vegas. I
- 13:33Speaker 1: made it or whatever, you know. So he opens up
- 13:35Speaker 1: his hotel blinds or something, or his curtains, you know,
- 13:38Speaker 1: looks outside. This is the worst effect in the movie
- 13:40Speaker 1: so far. Trash Can Man opens up his window and
- 13:43Speaker 1: he sees that outside is a Windows ninety eight screensaver
- 13:47Speaker 1: of Egypt. For some reason. It's like these fucking taj
- 13:51Speaker 1: Mahal and pyramids and shit. But it like you can
- 13:54Speaker 1: also see like a bunch of fucking like, you know,
- 13:56Speaker 1: spaceships bouncing around or something like it's a screen saver.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Because it looks like a fucking screensaver for some reason,
- 14:03Speaker 1: why don't they just like take a video outside the
- 14:05Speaker 1: actual window they shot, you know, they're shooting on location
- 14:08Speaker 1: and shit, it must have been something they did like
- 14:10Speaker 1: post production where they're like, well, we need this shot
- 14:14Speaker 1: of fucking trash can man looking at his window. It's
- 14:16Speaker 1: very very important, and they're like, oh yeah, yeah, good point.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I got just a thing. I've got a really good
- 14:23Speaker 1: digital artist who can fucking hook you up with a
- 14:26Speaker 1: great effect out the window that makes it look like
- 14:29Speaker 1: he's in Egypt for some reason. So, uh, Lloyd and
- 14:32Speaker 1: the rat Man walk into trash can Man's room. Some
- 14:36Speaker 1: of the names in this though, I mean, like I
- 14:39Speaker 1: all the characters are great. Part of me wonders like
- 14:42Speaker 1: when you're calling one character the rat Man and you're
- 14:45Speaker 1: calling another character the trash can Man. There's another character
- 14:49Speaker 1: in the book called the Kid too. Some of the
- 14:51Speaker 1: names I do just like start to question a little bit,
- 14:54Speaker 1: like are you just getting kind of fucking tired of
- 14:56Speaker 1: having to name all these damn characters? And you're just like,
- 14:59Speaker 1: how about the cool guy man? Like that's Stephen King
- 15:01Speaker 1: in this room. He's just like, this guy's name is
- 15:04Speaker 1: gonna be a black guy, black man. Well, you do
- 15:07Speaker 1: have a dark man actually, and he's gonna be the
- 15:11Speaker 1: Chinese man. He's gonna come up and he's gonna be Chinese.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. He this guy's name
- 15:19Speaker 1: is the apple Man and he likes apples. He has
- 15:22Speaker 1: apples with him all the time, and he eats him
- 15:25Speaker 1: and he's a bad guy because he lives in Las Vegas.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Let me sink, are there any other characters like that
- 15:30Speaker 1: with the silly fucking names. Well, there is something. There's
- 15:33Speaker 1: like these three guys in the book whose names are
- 15:35Speaker 1: like Morgan, Gorgan and Dorgan or something like that, and
- 15:38Speaker 1: I don't think they like I can't remember if they're
- 15:40Speaker 1: related or not. But it's another one of those things
- 15:42Speaker 1: where it's like motherfucker had to just been like sick
- 15:45Speaker 1: of naming all these characters. He's just like, this guy's
- 15:48Speaker 1: name is Chad Horgan, and this other guy down here
- 15:51Speaker 1: down the road, his name is Brad Dorgan, and this
- 15:55Speaker 1: other guy down the road his name is Tad Morgan.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It does it's a It's either that old Stevie King
- 16:01Speaker 1: has a pretty good sense of humor or he's just like,
- 16:04Speaker 1: I don't fucking know, I'm just gonna let me just
- 16:07Speaker 1: pull up a name generator in my brain and fucking
- 16:10Speaker 1: start naming all these characters. Let's let's see it. Look
- 16:13Speaker 1: at old Stevie on the back of this book real quick.
- 16:15Speaker 1: That looks like the guy that would come up with
- 16:17Speaker 1: some names like that. Yeah, they meet Lloyd. They're just like, hey, Lloyd,
- 16:21Speaker 1: put on some better clothes. Your clothes are shitty. They're
- 16:23Speaker 1: fucking covered in shit. You've been walking around the desert
- 16:26Speaker 1: shit in your pants all day for the last few weeks.
- 16:29Speaker 1: So they give him some cool clothes. He's got, like,
- 16:31Speaker 1: you know, a silk shirt on with dragons and stuff,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and some trip pants to join everyone else outside in
- 16:37Speaker 1: Las Vegas and get into a little fago moon missed bath.
- 16:42Speaker 1: I honestly don't even remember what else happens there. There.
- 16:45Speaker 1: There is something with Lloyd during all of this where
- 16:48Speaker 1: I feel like you already start to see that he's
- 16:51Speaker 1: a little apprehensive about what's going on in Las Vegas.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I think he's he's very loyal and committed to Randall
- 16:58Speaker 1: flag but you can tell also that he's kind of
- 17:01Speaker 1: hesitant about if they're making the right choices with all this,
- 17:04Speaker 1: or if they can really trust what Randall Flagg's like
- 17:08Speaker 1: plan is, like what his I don't know. The bigger
- 17:11Speaker 1: Randall Flagg picture, if you know what I'm saying. After that,
- 17:14Speaker 1: Stu and Fran, their whole group gets to Boulder, Colorado,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and they meet Mother Abigail for the first time. So
- 17:21Speaker 1: they're all just like, holy fuck, I can't believe it's you.
- 17:25Speaker 1: It's really you, Mother Abigail. We've been having dreams about
- 17:28Speaker 1: each other back to back, you know, and everyone's excited.
- 17:31Speaker 1: It's kind of framed in a way where Mother Abigail
- 17:33Speaker 1: comes off as like a magical character, which kind of
- 17:37Speaker 1: makes sense. I mean, everybody's been having dreams about her
- 17:40Speaker 1: and then they find out that she's a real lady
- 17:42Speaker 1: and that these dreams are actually leading them here. So
- 17:44Speaker 1: I kind of get why she has this like other
- 17:47Speaker 1: worldliness to her. Why these people would kind of assume that, like, okay,
- 17:51Speaker 1: this is like the messenger of God. Nadine. Nadine has
- 17:55Speaker 1: a dream. I can't remember what it's about. Then we
- 17:59Speaker 1: get dropped into one Nadine's dreams with Randall Flagg, and
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure most of her dreams are just like
- 18:06Speaker 1: her in the desert with Randall flag and he's always shirtless,
- 18:11Speaker 1: and I think he's always just like getting ready to
- 18:13Speaker 1: bang her or just like talking about banging her and stuff,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and he's pretty much just like, yeah, you got save
- 18:18Speaker 1: that little Vegina for me. It's like, oh no, I
- 18:24Speaker 1: was bullshit. He's just yeah, He's basically just like, save
- 18:28Speaker 1: your little nagene Gina, Nadina, save it for me, Nadine,
- 18:34Speaker 1: because I'm gonna marry your ass or whatever. And she's
- 18:36Speaker 1: just kind of like, okay, okay, that sounds good. And
- 18:41Speaker 1: something that we don't get in the movie that I
- 18:43Speaker 1: think is one of those scenes that should have been included,
- 18:45Speaker 1: is that there is this really great scene in the
- 18:48Speaker 1: book where we flash back to Nadine and kind of
- 18:52Speaker 1: like where all this started, because you get an idea
- 18:55Speaker 1: right away that there's something going on with Nadine that
- 18:58Speaker 1: she's not really letting on right away, or that she's
- 19:01Speaker 1: a little off. I think in the movie it's way
- 19:03Speaker 1: more obvious, but you kind of get it in the
- 19:05Speaker 1: book too, where like something's a little off with her.
- 19:07Speaker 1: And basically it cuts to like I think when she's
- 19:10Speaker 1: going to college, her in some of her like roommates
- 19:13Speaker 1: or whatever, have a Wiji board out and they start
- 19:16Speaker 1: playing around on the Wizi board and basically like through
- 19:18Speaker 1: the WIZI board. She gets contacted by Randall Flagg then
- 19:22Speaker 1: and floats up in the air. This is something that like,
- 19:25Speaker 1: I should probably go back and read again because I'm
- 19:28Speaker 1: not gonna remember this like word for word or anything.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But I think you get the idea right then that
- 19:33Speaker 1: she's kind of been chosen or preyed upon by Randall
- 19:37Speaker 1: Flagg as early as when she was in college. I'm
- 19:41Speaker 1: not exactly sure how old she is. I think she
- 19:43Speaker 1: might be late thirties or something like that. In the book,
- 19:46Speaker 1: I don't know, I can't remember, maybe not maybe younger
- 19:49Speaker 1: than that, But anyway, that's not in the in the movie.
- 19:52Speaker 1: In the movie, she has this dream she wakes up
- 19:55Speaker 1: and guess who's driving the damn truck that she's in.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Stephen King himself. Holy cow, he's in the This is
- 20:01Speaker 1: the Stephen King cameo that we're gonna get. This is it?
- 20:04Speaker 1: You know, I'm saying. Stephen King kind of almost does
- 20:07Speaker 1: the stan Lee thing of what just like always having
- 20:09Speaker 1: to be in every one of his movies. I don't
- 20:12Speaker 1: know if it's as most of the time, I feel
- 20:15Speaker 1: like it's not as jarring because he usually just plays
- 20:18Speaker 1: like a minor character that you might look over other
- 20:21Speaker 1: than maybe other than Creep Show, and probably some other ones.
- 20:25Speaker 1: But and this one, I can't remember the name of
- 20:28Speaker 1: the character that he plays. Actually, let me look that
- 20:33Speaker 1: up real quick. Sorry, my fucking balls off. What what
- 20:37Speaker 1: character did he play? What character? What? This is fucking dumb?
- 20:43Speaker 1: So I just googled what character does Stephen King play
- 20:46Speaker 1: in The Stand Nights. The first thing that comes up
- 20:49Speaker 1: says does not play a character, And it says Stephen
- 20:53Speaker 1: King does not play a character. The mini series is
- 20:56Speaker 1: based on his novel and features a cast of actors
- 20:59Speaker 1: portraying very characters, including Stu Redman played by Gary Sinise.
- 21:03Speaker 1: So basically, what this is saying is that we're fucking cooked.
- 21:06Speaker 1: And AI doesn't even know this shit. AI doesn't even
- 21:09Speaker 1: know like Google, AI doesn't even know that Stephen King's
- 21:13Speaker 1: in this fucking movie. What a dumb ass, What a
- 21:15Speaker 1: stupid ass, dumb motherfucker. Okay, so I just wikipedia it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: That was way better. Stephen King plays Teddy Wiseac in
- 21:25Speaker 1: this movie. I'm just gonna keep this pulled up since
- 21:27Speaker 1: fucking apparently you can't trust Google for anything anymore. Dumb ass, motherfucker.
- 21:35Speaker 1: I start recording anyway. Stephen King, he's Teddy Wiseak, He's
- 21:38Speaker 1: driving the truck. He's just like, hey, Nadine having a
- 21:41Speaker 1: little dream there, and she's just like, oh yeah about
- 21:44Speaker 1: come my pants. So back in the Boulder Free Zone,
- 21:48Speaker 1: Glenn is kind of skeptical about rebuilding society back to
- 21:51Speaker 1: the way it was, And I think this is one
- 21:53Speaker 1: of the great themes of this whole thing. One of
- 21:55Speaker 1: the one of the great talking points in the whole
- 21:59Speaker 1: story is that, like Glenn is questioning, should we be
- 22:03Speaker 1: building society in the way that it was, because that's
- 22:06Speaker 1: what led us to the situation that we're in. So
- 22:08Speaker 1: we're saying kind of like, we have a fresh slate
- 22:11Speaker 1: right now. Should we really just run things back and
- 22:14Speaker 1: have a do over? Or is this a chance to
- 22:17Speaker 1: rebuild things in a different direction. It's a very interesting
- 22:20Speaker 1: question and definitely something that obviously everyone would be thinking
- 22:24Speaker 1: about at this point, because building things back the way
- 22:27Speaker 1: they were is probably going to be your easiest bet,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know what I mean. You already have the blueprints
- 22:31Speaker 1: for it, and I'm sure everyone would probably be hopeful
- 22:35Speaker 1: that like, well, this time around, we'll do things better,
- 22:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean? I don't know how likely
- 22:40Speaker 1: that is, but it's just it's one of those things
- 22:44Speaker 1: that I feel like it would be hard not to do.
- 22:46Speaker 1: This is this is just a little side note that
- 22:48Speaker 1: I thought was pretty cool. Mother Abigail, we see are
- 22:51Speaker 1: at her house. Like everyone in Boulder they get their
- 22:54Speaker 1: own houses, you know what I mean, Like they go there,
- 22:56Speaker 1: there's all these abandoned homes and stuff, and they just
- 22:59Speaker 1: get the day people out of the homes and then
- 23:01Speaker 1: they occupy them. But we see that she has a
- 23:04Speaker 1: remote control lawnmower, which I thought was really cool. So
- 23:07Speaker 1: I would really appreciate a remote control lawnmower like that, honestly,
- 23:11Speaker 1: But I'm not one hundred and six, so I guess
- 23:15Speaker 1: I don't have any reason for remote control lawnmower yet.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So right after we see her dicking around with the wwndmower,
- 23:21Speaker 1: an ass load of people show up the Boulder, Colorado.
- 23:24Speaker 1: It's just like it's like a hundred fucking people in
- 23:27Speaker 1: cars and trucks and motorcycles and stuff, and they're just like,
- 23:29Speaker 1: what's mother Abigail. Yes, we finally get a meeter. Yes
- 23:33Speaker 1: this is great, But instantly as soon as Nadine steps
- 23:37Speaker 1: out of the truck. She's just like, who is that bitch?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Get that fucking bitch out of here. And Nadine's kind
- 23:44Speaker 1: of like, I don't like her. I don't like mother
- 23:46Speaker 1: Abigail and stuff. And Joe the little kid. So there's
- 23:50Speaker 1: this little boy named Joe. He just shows up and
- 23:53Speaker 1: he just fucking shoves down Nadine so he can get
- 23:56Speaker 1: a hug from mother Abigail. He's just like, out of
- 23:58Speaker 1: the way, your fucking gray haired bitch, and he just
- 24:00Speaker 1: like knocks her ass down. Joe is completely different in
- 24:03Speaker 1: this too. Like in the book, he's a firal kid
- 24:07Speaker 1: and he's just like always carrying around a knife and stuff.
- 24:10Speaker 1: As they get to like Boulder and he forms this
- 24:12Speaker 1: relationship with Larry, he becomes like more normal, and this
- 24:16Speaker 1: one you just kind of see him as like a
- 24:18Speaker 1: fairly normal kid right away, especially in Boulder, Colorado. He's
- 24:22Speaker 1: just instantly like, oh, yeah, Larry's my new dad. Now
- 24:26Speaker 1: I love him. He can play the guitar and I
- 24:28Speaker 1: can also play the guitar, but I don't know if
- 24:31Speaker 1: we see that in the movie. In the book, Joe
- 24:33Speaker 1: and like he's like a virtuoso. He just sits down
- 24:36Speaker 1: and just shreds his little dick off the whole time,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and Larry's like, damn, this kid can play guitar better
- 24:41Speaker 1: than me. Holy shit. So if you remember in episode two,
- 24:45Speaker 1: Nadine left Larry and the tent, you know, she left
- 24:48Speaker 1: him hind and dry and was just like, hey, we
- 24:50Speaker 1: cannot be fucking and I know we're gonna the dark Man.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Don't want that. He said, no fucking for me, No
- 24:57Speaker 1: vagina fucking for me is what he told her. So
- 25:00Speaker 1: Larry like grabs Nadine and he's just like, hey, what
- 25:02Speaker 1: the fuck's up with you, bitch? Like what are you
- 25:04Speaker 1: doing here? Why'd you just leave me in the damn tent?
- 25:07Speaker 1: And she just like get out of here, and she
- 25:10Speaker 1: just like kind of dips out and doesn't say anything
- 25:13Speaker 1: to Larry, And he's kind of like, this is weird
- 25:15Speaker 1: because Larry is a new girlfriend now, which we'll meet
- 25:17Speaker 1: her soon enough. Joe's it's Joe's like new mom, Joe
- 25:23Speaker 1: has new parents. It's Larry and I can't remember what
- 25:27Speaker 1: the hell name is Lucy. Joe and Lucy and Larry
- 25:31Speaker 1: are like a little family together. So then we kind
- 25:33Speaker 1: of quickly cut over to them turning on the power
- 25:36Speaker 1: in Boulder, Colorado. It just shows like a lot of
- 25:39Speaker 1: shots of these dead people that were like sitting in
- 25:42Speaker 1: front of appliances when they died and all the appliances
- 25:45Speaker 1: are turning back on. It's interesting because it's one of
- 25:49Speaker 1: those things where it's like, I get that. It's sounded
- 25:51Speaker 1: like Captain Trips, you know, comes on strong, then you
- 25:54Speaker 1: start feeling good again, and then you suddenly die whenever
- 25:57Speaker 1: it kicks back in or whatever. So you just I
- 26:00Speaker 1: can imagine these people were like I got the flu
- 26:02Speaker 1: and there's you know, bedridden stuff. Their necks are getting
- 26:05Speaker 1: all swollen, and then they feel better and they're like,
- 26:07Speaker 1: hell yeah, I'm gonna go turn on the oven and
- 26:08Speaker 1: then they just fucking die with the oven on, or oh,
- 26:11Speaker 1: hell yeah, I'm gonna go watch the TV and then
- 26:13Speaker 1: they fucking die on the couch or something. So there
- 26:15Speaker 1: was a lot of good shots of people just being
- 26:18Speaker 1: dead in front of appliances. All this is happening. So
- 26:21Speaker 1: later on that night, Mother Abigail, she's kind of like
- 26:24Speaker 1: having this inner turmoil where she's like, oh, look at
- 26:28Speaker 1: me acting like a damn a little like I'm a
- 26:32Speaker 1: damn little god or something like that. And she starts
- 26:36Speaker 1: like getting all conflicted about her pride. She's like, oh,
- 26:41Speaker 1: I've been too pride for I need to just go
- 26:43Speaker 1: wander off in the woods and get lost. And so
- 26:46Speaker 1: she does, and she's just like, anyway, peace out everyone.
- 26:49Speaker 1: She doesn't tell anyone she's doing this, but they, uh,
- 26:53Speaker 1: you know, she just does. She's just like, I need
- 26:55Speaker 1: to go on a little what do you call it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: I need to go on a little vision quest by
- 27:00Speaker 1: myself in the woods for you know, a week or
- 27:03Speaker 1: two with nothing to eat except for sticks and grass.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So she does. She does that, and then after that
- 27:09Speaker 1: they have the first town meeting. Stu is the speaker.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I think he just kind of gets naturally selected to
- 27:14Speaker 1: be the person that does the that like hosts the
- 27:18Speaker 1: town meeting or whatever, and he does a great job.
- 27:21Speaker 1: He just kind of like highlights what's been going on
- 27:23Speaker 1: and talks about like how they're going to vote in
- 27:26Speaker 1: this new committee to see if everybody agrees that they
- 27:28Speaker 1: should be running the town. Harold actually pipes up and
- 27:31Speaker 1: he's like, I would like to motion that we just
- 27:34Speaker 1: go ahead, you know, skip the vote and let these
- 27:37Speaker 1: motherfuckers run the town. And Stu's kind of caught off
- 27:39Speaker 1: guard by this because they don't have Harold as one
- 27:42Speaker 1: of the committee members. They were all people that were
- 27:45Speaker 1: appointed by Mother Abigail, and Harold wasn't because she knows
- 27:49Speaker 1: that motherfucker he got the buy it. Seeing day mother Abigail,
- 27:53Speaker 1: she can look at Harold and she knows he got
- 27:55Speaker 1: a little touch of autism. So everyone they vote them in.
- 27:59Speaker 1: There's the new Committee of the Free Zone and everyone's
- 28:02Speaker 1: like hell, yeah, this is great, and Stude's just like, yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 1: this is pretty cool. Anyway, go ahead and stand up, Franny,
- 28:09Speaker 1: show him how pretty are. And then Franny stands up
- 28:11Speaker 1: and she's just like hey, Everyone's like, yeah, this is
- 28:15Speaker 1: going pretty good. No Captain trips, Captain schmips, we got
- 28:19Speaker 1: this shit under control. Everything's feeling pretty normal and they're
- 28:22Speaker 1: pretty happy with themselves. But then Lucy busting and she's
- 28:26Speaker 1: just like everybody, Mother Abigail is gone, and they're just
- 28:29Speaker 1: like what do you mean and they're like, yeap, she
- 28:31Speaker 1: fucking disappeared, and they're kind of like, damn, that sucks.
- 28:36Speaker 1: And basically, like throughout all this, you just kind of
- 28:38Speaker 1: see like different clips of Nadine acting like a bitch
- 28:42Speaker 1: to everybody, which you know, it's a little on the nose.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I think it would have been cool if Nadine's character
- 28:47Speaker 1: was like obviously a little more like unsure about what
- 28:50Speaker 1: she was going to do. But I think it's because
- 28:53Speaker 1: of the off putting introduction to Mother Abigail and how
- 28:56Speaker 1: Mother Abigail right away is just like ooh, that bitch,
- 28:59Speaker 1: the devil and stuff like that that I think it
- 29:02Speaker 1: kind of like makes sense why Nadine's just like she
- 29:04Speaker 1: seems like she's always scheming. And there's even during this
- 29:07Speaker 1: town meeting, she keeps like looking over at Harold and
- 29:09Speaker 1: she's like so so so hall at me, Harold, come
- 29:13Speaker 1: over to my house, fuck me in the butt. Uh.
- 29:19Speaker 1: So after that town town meeting and shit like that,
- 29:22Speaker 1: you know, they have a little like picnic meeting, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: they decide that they're going to send over some spies
- 29:27Speaker 1: to see what is going on in Las Vegas into
- 29:31Speaker 1: spy on Randall Flag because they're like, if Mother Abigail's real,
- 29:34Speaker 1: Randall Flag, the dark man, the walking dude, he must
- 29:38Speaker 1: be real too, and we got to find out what
- 29:39Speaker 1: the fuck he's doing because he probably wants to kill
- 29:41Speaker 1: us because he keeps haunting our dreams with nightmares. You know,
- 29:43Speaker 1: why else would he be doing that? Kind of like
- 29:46Speaker 1: how mother Abigail was letting us have good dreams and
- 29:49Speaker 1: now he's he's been having it making us have bad dreams,
- 29:52Speaker 1: so he must be bad. So yeah, they're just kind
- 29:54Speaker 1: of talking about it. Franny doesn't want to do it.
- 29:56Speaker 1: She's just like, I don't think we need to be
- 29:58Speaker 1: fucking around with all this buy shit. Let's just, you know,
- 30:02Speaker 1: let's just hang out in Boulder, Colorado, eat some hot dogs,
- 30:05Speaker 1: drink some damn Corps lights, and relax everybody. But they're like, no,
- 30:11Speaker 1: we gotta do it, fran You're out voted big time.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Nadine approaches Larry, so she just like walks up to
- 30:17Speaker 1: his house that night and she's just like, Larry, I
- 30:20Speaker 1: need to talk to you, and she's like pretty much
- 30:22Speaker 1: just trying to do a little seduction move on Larry,
- 30:25Speaker 1: like right in front of Lucy. She's like, uh, basically
- 30:29Speaker 1: just ignores her, and Larry's like go inside, Lucy, and
- 30:32Speaker 1: Lucy's fucking pissed about it. She's like watching out the window.
- 30:35Speaker 1: She's just like, fuck, are you kidding me? I finally
- 30:38Speaker 1: got a man for me and Joe and now this
- 30:40Speaker 1: fucking crazy haired bitch is gonna come over here and
- 30:42Speaker 1: just steal my damn man or whatever. And Nadine's like, listen, Larry,
- 30:46Speaker 1: you gotta bang me so I can stand bolder. And
- 30:49Speaker 1: he's just kind of like what. And she's just like, yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 1: you gotta fuck the devil out of me right now,
- 30:54Speaker 1: otherwise I'm gonna go to hell and marry a demon.
- 30:58Speaker 1: And he just like grabs her by the shoulders and
- 31:00Speaker 1: launches her to the ground. He's just like, shut up, bitch.
- 31:03Speaker 1: He's like, you had your chance to bang me in
- 31:04Speaker 1: the tent, and you wrote me a little fucking dumb
- 31:07Speaker 1: ass note and left in the middle of the night
- 31:09Speaker 1: like a silly ass little bitch. And she's just like
- 31:13Speaker 1: kind of looking at him from the ground, like what
- 31:15Speaker 1: you're serious. You're not gonna bang me? Uh? And he
- 31:20Speaker 1: like he points to the window and he's just like
- 31:23Speaker 1: that's my wife in there, motherfucker. And she's just like
- 31:27Speaker 1: very funny, very funny, your wife is cute and stuff
- 31:30Speaker 1: like that, and he's just kind of like she's kind
- 31:31Speaker 1: of like mocking him about it, and he's just like begone, begone.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Temptersk get evil gray hair hussy, get a little fluzzy,
- 31:39Speaker 1: Get off my fucking lawn, he clints, woods her ass,
- 31:42Speaker 1: Get off my law. No, I'm failing it. Not talking
- 31:46Speaker 1: about the book, it's a lot more impactful in the book,
- 31:48Speaker 1: because you get the idea that even in the book
- 31:51Speaker 1: she doesn't do a great job with it, but she's
- 31:53Speaker 1: asking for help. She's basically she knows that if she
- 31:57Speaker 1: remains a virgin, she's going to be married to Randall Flagg.
- 32:01Speaker 1: He's going to scoop her up and bring her to
- 32:04Speaker 1: Las Vegas, whether she likes it or not. She's somewhat
- 32:07Speaker 1: seems to be like under his control or at least
- 32:09Speaker 1: his influence quite a bit so. But he tells her
- 32:12Speaker 1: like NANAA, I ain't banging you. You're not getting this dick.
- 32:16Speaker 1: And so then she just walks off kind of laughing.
- 32:18Speaker 1: She's like, oh shit, I think she knows. At that point,
- 32:21Speaker 1: she's like, I'm done for I'm Randall Flagg. So now,
- 32:23Speaker 1: and she gets home her house is like fucking covered
- 32:28Speaker 1: in blood. That says like Harold Lotter, and Randall Flagg
- 32:32Speaker 1: appears to her and he's just like, hey, Nadine, you
- 32:34Speaker 1: need to go tuck to Harold Lotter and she's like,
- 32:37Speaker 1: all right, so she goes over to Harold Lotter's house,
- 32:39Speaker 1: and we'll get to that soon enough, because we're going
- 32:42Speaker 1: beat by beat this time around. Similar to how the
- 32:44Speaker 1: book is written in three different styles, these episodes are
- 32:49Speaker 1: going to be done in three different styles, taking a
- 32:52Speaker 1: play at an old Stephen King's book. So, anyway, the committee,
- 32:55Speaker 1: they decide who they're going to send to Las Vegas
- 32:58Speaker 1: as the spies. The Judd is number one, like Judge
- 33:02Speaker 1: will be great, but they're concerned about how old he is.
- 33:04Speaker 1: But they also think like, he's not gonna expect us
- 33:07Speaker 1: to send an old ass man. And so then they're like,
- 33:10Speaker 1: how about Dana. I don't really remember why. I think
- 33:13Speaker 1: they're just like, yeah, she seemed pretty cool, she'd probably
- 33:15Speaker 1: be a good spy. Send Dana. And then the third
- 33:18Speaker 1: one is the curveball. You're never gonna guess who they
- 33:21Speaker 1: send is the third person. It's Nick's idea, and they
- 33:24Speaker 1: decide to send Tom Collin, and he's like, they might
- 33:27Speaker 1: not expect an old guy, they might not expect Dana
- 33:31Speaker 1: for whatever reason. They're definitely not going to expect Tom Colin.
- 33:35Speaker 1: And basically they come up with this whole plan that
- 33:38Speaker 1: they're gonna do with Tom. They're like, we gotta, you know,
- 33:41Speaker 1: do this thing with them where we're gonna hypnotize them
- 33:44Speaker 1: basically or whatever, and they kind of talk about how
- 33:46Speaker 1: it's gonna work out, how they're going to send the
- 33:48Speaker 1: three no one's gonna know about the spies. They're going
- 33:51Speaker 1: to send them separately so that none of the spies
- 33:54Speaker 1: know about each other, so when they get there, if
- 33:56Speaker 1: they get captured it and interrogated, they're not going to
- 33:59Speaker 1: be able to give any information about each other to
- 34:01Speaker 1: random Flag. Obviously, Franny is still against this, and Larry
- 34:06Speaker 1: kind of gets really like pessimistic about the whole thing,
- 34:09Speaker 1: or he's being really gosh, what is it. Larry's kind
- 34:12Speaker 1: of being really condescending about this whole idea that they're doing,
- 34:16Speaker 1: and he's kind of like joking around about it, and
- 34:19Speaker 1: Stu gets fucking stern with him. Stu like turns into
- 34:22Speaker 1: a proper dad and he's just like, listen, Lary, this
- 34:25Speaker 1: might not be fun, but this is how shit's gonna
- 34:27Speaker 1: have to be. And then Larry like cracks a joke
- 34:29Speaker 1: on him and they all kind of lighten up. I
- 34:31Speaker 1: can't remember what he says, but he's just like, damn, Stu.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, He's like, Stu, you're cute when you're mad.
- 34:36Speaker 1: And then Stu starts laughing and then they start kissing.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Not really, but that is what he says, and they
- 34:41Speaker 1: all start laughing, and they're just like, yeah, Stu, you're
- 34:44Speaker 1: kind of a fucking hard ass and we love you.
- 34:47Speaker 1: So they go over to Tom Collins house. They hypnotize him.
- 34:49Speaker 1: His house is full of mannequins and shit for some reason,
- 34:52Speaker 1: like he's the killer in the movie The Aniac. I
- 34:55Speaker 1: don't know exactly what they're trying to say here. It's
- 34:57Speaker 1: like he decorates his whole house with like those things
- 35:00Speaker 1: that keeps woodpeckers away, those like spinny shiny things and
- 35:04Speaker 1: other than that, just like a ton of mannequins laying around.
- 35:06Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, maybe we should send Tom Collin to
- 35:09Speaker 1: Las Vegas. If you know what I'm saying, I think
- 35:12Speaker 1: it's time for you to go to Las Vegas and
- 35:13Speaker 1: go talk to Randall flag there. Buden. Also, why don't
- 35:16Speaker 1: you try to sock him in the nuts when you
- 35:18Speaker 1: get there. That's the master plan. Send Tom Colin and
- 35:24Speaker 1: have him hit him in the nuts. See how that
- 35:26Speaker 1: works out. So they hypnotize them, and they're basically like,
- 35:29Speaker 1: all right, you're gonna go there. If anybody asks you
- 35:32Speaker 1: any questions, you're gonna say that you got kicked out
- 35:34Speaker 1: of Boulder, Colorado because we didn't want you having sex
- 35:37Speaker 1: with any of the women and having any babies with
- 35:40Speaker 1: any mental disabilities. And he's just like mental disabilities, Tom Cohen,
- 35:47Speaker 1: and they're just like yeah. They go over this whole
- 35:50Speaker 1: plan with them, and whenever the moon is full, that's
- 35:54Speaker 1: his signal to come back, and the hypnosis works on him.
- 36:00Speaker 1: It's a great plan, the whole Tom Colean thing. So
- 36:02Speaker 1: far it seems to be like the right the right call.
- 36:05Speaker 1: So they're they're working through this whole thing, and Tom
- 36:08Speaker 1: and Nick are there and you can tell this is
- 36:11Speaker 1: breaking their hearts to have to do this, even then
- 36:13Speaker 1: having to explain his cover story where they're basically, we
- 36:17Speaker 1: wanted to get rid of you because we didn't want
- 36:19Speaker 1: you to have any retarded children, and Tom Colan just
- 36:22Speaker 1: saying that back to them or whatever. You can tell,
- 36:25Speaker 1: it's just really hard for them to even have to do.
- 36:28Speaker 1: So I thought that was a really touching moment. You
- 36:30Speaker 1: have some really great acting here from Gary Soon Ease,
- 36:33Speaker 1: Rob Low and the guy that plays Tom Colan, which
- 36:36Speaker 1: I I'll just go ahead and look him up to
- 36:38Speaker 1: since I got Wikipedia pulled up. We're old Tom calling
- 36:41Speaker 1: at there he goes the guy that plays Tom Cole
- 36:44Speaker 1: and his name is Bill Fagerbacky, okay, fair enough. So
- 36:49Speaker 1: we see that Harold is on a body disposal committee
- 36:53Speaker 1: that goes around the city. Basically, they just show up
- 36:55Speaker 1: and their Their whole job is just to throw all
- 36:57Speaker 1: the bodies in the trash or whatever, get rid of
- 37:00Speaker 1: the damn bodies. It's pretty disgusting. The first place they
- 37:03Speaker 1: go to is this church and it's just filled up.
- 37:05Speaker 1: All the pews are filled up with dead people in
- 37:08Speaker 1: different stages of decay. Harold gets sick again. He goes
- 37:11Speaker 1: out and he has to puke a couple of times.
- 37:14Speaker 1: You kind of see that, like by the end of
- 37:15Speaker 1: it though, he's maybe getting a little bit more used
- 37:18Speaker 1: to this. But the whole thing is just it's a
- 37:22Speaker 1: it's a pretty gnarly scene. When he gets home though,
- 37:24Speaker 1: he has Nadine waiting for him. She's snuck into his
- 37:27Speaker 1: house and she's just like, yeah, the dark Man told
- 37:30Speaker 1: me where the key to your house was gonna be.
- 37:32Speaker 1: And he's just kind of like, what the fuck are
- 37:34Speaker 1: you talking about? And she's like, anyway, go take a
- 37:36Speaker 1: fucking shower because you stink like shit, and then I'm
- 37:39Speaker 1: gonna fuck you. And he's like, really pretty cool, and
- 37:42Speaker 1: she's like, also, I got some damn Hamburger helper on
- 37:44Speaker 1: the stove or something like that, so we're gonna eat
- 37:46Speaker 1: Hamburger helper and fuck and he's just like nice, and
- 37:50Speaker 1: she's like, but just so you know, you can only
- 37:52Speaker 1: fuck my butt. He's just kind of probably just thinking, okay,
- 37:56Speaker 1: why and she's like the She's like, whole number one
- 38:00Speaker 1: it's for Randall Flag, but you can do anything else
- 38:03Speaker 1: you want. I'm probably gonna be He's like, don't worry
- 38:08Speaker 1: about the dark Man though. He doesn't care about sucking
- 38:11Speaker 1: or butt fucking or any of that stuff, just as
- 38:14Speaker 1: long as I keep number one high and tight. I guess.
- 38:19Speaker 1: So weird, it's just it just I don't know, it's
- 38:24Speaker 1: just an interesting loophole. It seems to be a thing
- 38:29Speaker 1: that exists. I guess. So Harold's just at home getting
- 38:32Speaker 1: sucked dry. But after that, before we get to all
- 38:36Speaker 1: the sucking and fucking tom heads out west, they remind him.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So he's getting ready to leave. He's got like all
- 38:43Speaker 1: new clothes on, and they're like, Tom, you forgot your
- 38:45Speaker 1: shirt tag, you know. So they're like Nick like rips
- 38:48Speaker 1: the shirt tag off for him, and he just looks
- 38:50Speaker 1: at him and goes, I hate being retarded. And then
- 38:53Speaker 1: he just rides off on his bike. And it's like,
- 38:55Speaker 1: it's so sad watching Tom call and go, knowing that
- 38:58Speaker 1: he's gonna be all alone on it in the desert
- 39:00Speaker 1: because they're like, listen, Tom, you gotta travel at night
- 39:04Speaker 1: and sleep during the day and stuff like that, you know.
- 39:07Speaker 1: And they're basically like they told him as well, if
- 39:09Speaker 1: you run into one person, you gotta kill him. If
- 39:12Speaker 1: you run into many people, you just gotta fucking run
- 39:15Speaker 1: away and do your best. So he's got this like
- 39:17Speaker 1: horrible mission that he's going on. I guess it's probably
- 39:20Speaker 1: best that he's been you know, hypnotized to do all
- 39:24Speaker 1: the right things to probably keep him in check. After that,
- 39:27Speaker 1: we see a fran baby check up and the doctor
- 39:29Speaker 1: just like, baby's all good, Baby's all good, yo, But
- 39:32Speaker 1: she obviously has some concerns like well, what if the
- 39:34Speaker 1: baby gets sick with Captain Tripps and stuff like that.
- 39:37Speaker 1: How do we know any of the babies are going
- 39:39Speaker 1: to be immune. It's completely unknown, so that's obviously like
- 39:43Speaker 1: a big concern. Harold has a dream about the outworld
- 39:46Speaker 1: and the movie Mortal Kombat, which is pretty cool. He
- 39:49Speaker 1: basically just like goes around and he's looking at like
- 39:53Speaker 1: all these burned up cars and you know, like metal
- 39:55Speaker 1: barrels with fire shooting out of him, and then he
- 39:58Speaker 1: sees the character from the book that which this is
- 40:01Speaker 1: another one of those things. If you didn't read the book,
- 40:03Speaker 1: you would be like, what the fuck is this. It's
- 40:06Speaker 1: basically just like a dead body in a car that
- 40:08Speaker 1: pops up that I guess kind of looks like a wolf.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I think that's what it's supposed to look like. It's
- 40:12Speaker 1: like a wolf costume that this guy is on, but
- 40:14Speaker 1: he just kind of looks like a fucked up person,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and he's just like, hey, you're a card Hawk, and
- 40:20Speaker 1: Harold looks at him and says, yeah, a wild card.
- 40:24Speaker 1: And that's a whole other thing where it's like, no one,
- 40:26Speaker 1: I don't think anybody's called Harold Hawk yet in the
- 40:29Speaker 1: show he gets nicknamed Hawk in the book and starts
- 40:32Speaker 1: to kind of appreciate the community that's building in Boulder
- 40:36Speaker 1: Comere and starts to like question whether or not he's
- 40:39Speaker 1: going to join the dark side. But after he sees
- 40:42Speaker 1: the kid, the wolf Kid, he sees a bunch of
- 40:45Speaker 1: dynamite and Randall flag's in there, and he's just like, yeah, Harold,
- 40:48Speaker 1: you know what to do. Fucking do it, Bud blow
- 40:51Speaker 1: him up. And so he wakes up to Nadine asking
- 40:54Speaker 1: him about his dream, and Harold just kind of looks
- 40:57Speaker 1: at he just like ignores that shit because he's like,
- 40:59Speaker 1: I don't want to tell you I had a scary
- 41:01Speaker 1: dream when I'm getting ready to make you suck me
- 41:04Speaker 1: off again. So he just says, oh, Nadine like juicy,
- 41:08Speaker 1: and then he probably gets like his tenth OTP hand job.
- 41:12Speaker 1: There is like a really disgusting part about Harold in
- 41:15Speaker 1: the book that they don't touch on in the movie.
- 41:17Speaker 1: In the book, I think it's just like rumors or
- 41:20Speaker 1: like people kind of picking on him maybe or maybe
- 41:23Speaker 1: it's the truth, but they talk about how he just
- 41:25Speaker 1: like comes in his pants all the time and never
- 41:28Speaker 1: changes his pants, and I just wish they would have
- 41:30Speaker 1: brought that to the big screen. I wish they would
- 41:32Speaker 1: have just I just need a character in a movie
- 41:34Speaker 1: that comes his sweatpants all the time and just lets
- 41:38Speaker 1: it build and build, and then it comes back as
- 41:41Speaker 1: like a Chekhov's gun type of thing, where the cum
- 41:45Speaker 1: has solidified so much in the front of his pants
- 41:48Speaker 1: that like at the end it saves the day. Like
- 41:50Speaker 1: he jumps in front of a character and it, you know,
- 41:54Speaker 1: somebody shoots a gun at the main character and he
- 41:57Speaker 1: jumps in front of it and the solidif i'd kind
- 42:00Speaker 1: of actually blocks the bullet and saves the day and
- 42:03Speaker 1: he doesn't even get hurt from it because it's too
- 42:05Speaker 1: there's too much of it. I need a movie like that.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Stat So anyway, I don't even want to think about
- 42:10Speaker 1: how much Harold is nutting right now. We cut over
- 42:13Speaker 1: to Tom. He's just like instantly gets a job in Vegas.
- 42:17Speaker 1: So that's pretty cool, pretty good equal opportunity employees over
- 42:22Speaker 1: there in Las Vegas. Apparently he's working on airplanes. What
- 42:25Speaker 1: do you know, You just got Tom Collin working on
- 42:28Speaker 1: your airplane. Who wants to get on that plane? Yeah,
- 42:31Speaker 1: this one's been inspected by Tom collin that spells up shit,
- 42:36Speaker 1: that spells check engine light just like crashes. Anyway, he's
- 42:41Speaker 1: working on planes. He also happens to see trash can
- 42:45Speaker 1: man fucking lifting up a bomb with like a pallette jack,
- 42:48Speaker 1: and they're just like, yeah, I get the fucking bomb
- 42:51Speaker 1: on the plane because he's supposed to be looking for
- 42:53Speaker 1: shit like this, so he's kind of like, what shit.
- 42:55Speaker 1: They do have bombs and they are gonna bomb us,
- 42:58Speaker 1: because the whole thing is to figure out like, are
- 43:01Speaker 1: they going to drop a nuke on us? That's kind
- 43:03Speaker 1: of what they think is gonna happen. They do this
- 43:05Speaker 1: scene from the book that I'm really glad they did where, uh,
- 43:08Speaker 1: it's just a brief one, but Tom is passing by
- 43:12Speaker 1: in like a car in the back of a truck,
- 43:14Speaker 1: and he looks up and he sees Dana working on
- 43:16Speaker 1: like a lamppost like she works for the city, I
- 43:19Speaker 1: guess or whatever, the city of Las Vegas. But I
- 43:22Speaker 1: just thought that was really neat because it comes up
- 43:24Speaker 1: later on in the story and I thought it was
- 43:27Speaker 1: a nice little touch there where it's like, oh, yeah,
- 43:29Speaker 1: they actually do bump into each other, and you know
- 43:31Speaker 1: at that moment they have to be like, shit, are
- 43:33Speaker 1: you the spy? Are you one of the spies they sent?
- 43:38Speaker 1: I'm sure Dana's probably thinking, damn, they sent Tom Colin.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I'm sure she's even questioning like damn. Maybe he did
- 43:43Speaker 1: get kicked out of Boulder, or he just decided to
- 43:46Speaker 1: come over here or something. I don't know. I don't
- 43:47Speaker 1: think anybody that actually knows Tom and Boulder would think
- 43:50Speaker 1: that he's too pure. He's too pure of heart, and
- 43:53Speaker 1: everyone loves him there as they should. Next we see
- 43:56Speaker 1: Harold in the basement just making fucking bombs, making a
- 43:59Speaker 1: home made bombs and like shoe boxes and stuff like that,
- 44:02Speaker 1: and he's listening to the song Boogie Fever, which is amazing.
- 44:05Speaker 1: The soundtrack in this movie kicks ass. Nadine, she goes
- 44:10Speaker 1: downstairs and she shuts the music off. She's just like, Harold,
- 44:13Speaker 1: I need to talk to you about bucking and butt stuff.
- 44:15Speaker 1: And he's just like, don't mess with my disco, Nadine,
- 44:19Speaker 1: And she's kind of like, okay, well, anyway, Harold, I
- 44:23Speaker 1: need to talk to you about some important shit or
- 44:26Speaker 1: something like that. And he's just like, whatever, bitch, why
- 44:29Speaker 1: don't you go outside and take a hike? And she's like,
- 44:31Speaker 1: are you fucking joking me? Right now? I'm sure Nadine
- 44:34Speaker 1: is super like off put by this whole situation because
- 44:36Speaker 1: she's like having to fuck this nerd with her butt
- 44:39Speaker 1: for like Randall flag, and she's probably like, this sucks ass.
- 44:44Speaker 1: This is not how I expected my life to go,
- 44:46Speaker 1: you know what I mean. We got to really be
- 44:48Speaker 1: questioning some of her choices that she's been making. But
- 44:51Speaker 1: and you know, at one point she was probably like, well,
- 44:53Speaker 1: at least I'm gonna be in charge because I got
- 44:56Speaker 1: the stinkhole, I got the mouth, and this little pussy
- 44:59Speaker 1: is never has This little virgin's never had sex before.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Nadine's a virgin too, but still, you know how Harold is,
- 45:06Speaker 1: and she obviously is like, yeah, I don't know. She's older,
- 45:10Speaker 1: Harold's younger. You would think that the ball would be
- 45:12Speaker 1: in her court. But as soon as he starts getting
- 45:14Speaker 1: a little but he's just like, I'm in charge here,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I'm the man of the house, bitch. Why don't you
- 45:21Speaker 1: go take a fucking hike, And basically he tells her
- 45:23Speaker 1: that he's but she's like, what the fuck are you
- 45:26Speaker 1: talking about, motherfucker? And he's like, well, I got this
- 45:28Speaker 1: many pounds of dynamite here, and it's sweating pure nitri glycerine.
- 45:32Speaker 1: So one false move could make this whole place blow up.
- 45:35Speaker 1: So maybe for your safety, you should go take a hike, bitch.
- 45:38Speaker 1: And she's kind of like, okay, fair enough, Harold, fair enough.
- 45:41Speaker 1: And then after that we just cut right to Nadine
- 45:43Speaker 1: dropping off the bomb in the closet of the committee house,
- 45:47Speaker 1: so like, okay, that isn't a look good. The next
- 45:50Speaker 1: town meeting starts Mother Abigail. She shows back up with Joey.
- 45:55Speaker 1: Joey's like walking her up towards the middle of town,
- 45:58Speaker 1: and she looks like a zombie be when she gets back.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I thought this was actually really cool. She looks like
- 46:04Speaker 1: a zombie from Dead Alive. I thought a lot of
- 46:07Speaker 1: the makeup after watching this third part, a lot of
- 46:10Speaker 1: the makeup of the dead people reminded me of the
- 46:13Speaker 1: movie Dead Alive, actually, which I was like, cool, I
- 46:16Speaker 1: like that movie too. So Mother Abigail shows up, everybody's excited.
- 46:20Speaker 1: They're all just like, hey, hey, town meeting people, and
- 46:23Speaker 1: they like rush over to the town meetinghouse and they're
- 46:25Speaker 1: just like mother Abigail's here, but right whenever she starts
- 46:28Speaker 1: showing up, they all get like an instant message in
- 46:31Speaker 1: their head. It's like there's you know, get out of
- 46:34Speaker 1: the house. Get out of the house, and they all
- 46:36Speaker 1: just like stand up. Not everybody, but like some of
- 46:39Speaker 1: the core members stand up, and they're just like, holy shit,
- 46:42Speaker 1: we gotta get out of the house. For some reason.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Nick Like, they don't know why they need to get
- 46:47Speaker 1: out of the house. I think, Nick, here's a message
- 46:49Speaker 1: that says like there's something in the closet, or it's
- 46:52Speaker 1: in the closet or something like that. So he runs
- 46:54Speaker 1: over there and he's just like, what's in the closet
- 46:56Speaker 1: and he opens it up. Most everybody else gets out
- 46:59Speaker 1: of there. So while this is going on, we see
- 47:01Speaker 1: that Nadine and Harold are like on the outskirts of
- 47:04Speaker 1: Boulder and they're waiting for a specific time. And right
- 47:08Speaker 1: as Nick is checking the closet, Harold chimes in on
- 47:11Speaker 1: a little handheld radio and he's just like, this is
- 47:15Speaker 1: Harold Lotter, and I'm doing this of my own free will.
- 47:18Speaker 1: And then the fucking bomb blows up. The house fucking explodes.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Nick gets killed, obviously because he's right there. And then
- 47:25Speaker 1: Susan Stern is also killed, and there's a few other
- 47:28Speaker 1: people that they mentioned that died, and like a lot
- 47:30Speaker 1: of people get injured from it, but most of the
- 47:33Speaker 1: main people besides Nick and Susan end up surviving. Frannie
- 47:38Speaker 1: gets knocked out from the explosion. She has a dream
- 47:40Speaker 1: where Mother Abigail is telling her that God didn't get
- 47:43Speaker 1: them together to put a committee together and start a
- 47:46Speaker 1: free zone. She's basically just like saying, what we're doing
- 47:49Speaker 1: right now is not exactly what God had in mind.
- 47:52Speaker 1: This isn't his whole intention of bringing us together. We've
- 47:55Speaker 1: been here to go. Wolf the Devil's ass, basically the
- 47:58Speaker 1: devil amp's ass. He is having a hard time with
- 48:01Speaker 1: it though she like does not want to hear this shit.
- 48:03Speaker 1: She's like, I want things to be back to normal,
- 48:06Speaker 1: as you know, most people probably would. It's gotta be
- 48:08Speaker 1: a lot to like see this little glimpse of hope
- 48:11Speaker 1: that like civilization's going to return. And then this lady
- 48:15Speaker 1: who you just met is telling you no, no, you
- 48:19Speaker 1: guys actually need to go and fucking fight the devil.
- 48:22Speaker 1: No holds barred to the death and so Fran wakes up.
- 48:25Speaker 1: She's in the hospital she knows from the dream that
- 48:28Speaker 1: Susan and Nick are dead and that all these people
- 48:30Speaker 1: died and stuff. We see the mother Abigail's in the
- 48:33Speaker 1: hospital bed next to her and she wakes up and
- 48:35Speaker 1: she's just like everybody out of the hospital room except
- 48:38Speaker 1: for the committee. And so basically she tells them that
- 48:41Speaker 1: the four men that are left over they have to
- 48:43Speaker 1: go west with no food and no water, no extra supplies.
- 48:48Speaker 1: They have to go on foot, and they have to
- 48:50Speaker 1: leave right now. She doesn't know like how this whole
- 48:53Speaker 1: plan is going to turn out, this whole like mission
- 48:56Speaker 1: that they're on, but she tells them that one of
- 48:58Speaker 1: them will fall on the way there, but she doesn't
- 49:01Speaker 1: know who. She also doesn't know if they're going to
- 49:03Speaker 1: win or not. She's just like, this is just what
- 49:05Speaker 1: God told me to tell you guys. Good luck. You know,
- 49:09Speaker 1: you just need to go to Las Vegas and stand
- 49:12Speaker 1: against the dark Man. Right after that she passes away.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Glenn kind of like does the thing where he like
- 49:17Speaker 1: you know, closes their eyelids or whatever, and he says,
- 49:20Speaker 1: white magic is all we have left. And that's like
- 49:23Speaker 1: something they talk about in the book more, but you know,
- 49:26Speaker 1: they touch on it here. One good thing about the
- 49:28Speaker 1: movie is that they do touch on all of the
- 49:31Speaker 1: I don't know about all, but most of the like
- 49:33Speaker 1: really important things in the book. They at least have
- 49:36Speaker 1: enough time to touch on him these episodes. So this is,
- 49:40Speaker 1: like I said, split up into four episodes. These episodes
- 49:42Speaker 1: feel like really full. Although there are many things in
- 49:46Speaker 1: the book that I'd love to see in a show
- 49:48Speaker 1: or played out in a movie, I feel like what
- 49:51Speaker 1: we get here is very satisfying. For cramming all this
- 49:54Speaker 1: into four episodes, they're doing a great job. I think
- 49:57Speaker 1: you could probably stretch this whole book out into three
- 50:00Speaker 1: for series or seasons of a TV show if you
- 50:03Speaker 1: really wanted to and really like keep it faithful to
- 50:05Speaker 1: the book. And I don't even yeah, I think I
- 50:08Speaker 1: think three or four seasons would be plenty of time.
- 50:10Speaker 1: But the way they do it here, I feel like
- 50:13Speaker 1: they're they're killing it. Friend does not want STU to
- 50:16Speaker 1: go still, like they they're saying they're goodbyes because they're like, listen,
- 50:20Speaker 1: she said we gotta get going, like right now. So
- 50:24Speaker 1: and you know she's like, no, stud, we don't have
- 50:27Speaker 1: to listen to her. Ass she's dead. What's she no,
- 50:30Speaker 1: she might not even know. And Stud's just kind of like, listen,
- 50:33Speaker 1: if I don't go, what if we all die? Like
- 50:36Speaker 1: you me, the baby, everybody gets wiped out because the
- 50:39Speaker 1: Dark Man comes over here and focks us all up.
- 50:41Speaker 1: And she's like, yeah, you have a good point there.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Good luck, Bud. You know. They say they're goodbyes. It's
- 50:47Speaker 1: very touching. She's like, love you, Stu, and he's like, oh,
- 50:50Speaker 1: I love you too, Franny. And then after that, Stu, Larry, Glenn, Ralph,
- 50:54Speaker 1: and Kojak all head west on foot. That's right, they
- 50:57Speaker 1: bring Kojak, which smart thinking on their part. Cool. So
- 51:01Speaker 1: that's Chapter three, Part three of The Stand Up next
- 51:05Speaker 1: probably next week or so. I'm trying to get all
- 51:08Speaker 1: this stuff done at once. I'm reading the book. I've
- 51:10Speaker 1: been watching some other movies too that we're going to
- 51:13Speaker 1: be putting out some episodes on. But next week we're
- 51:16Speaker 1: going to get into part four, which is called The
- 51:18Speaker 1: stand the final chapter of the miniseries. So thanks for listening, guys.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Good night,
