- 1:39Speaker 1: as we continue to climb the mountain to six thousand subscribers.
- 1:44Speaker 1: And also I kind of just want to start by
- 1:47Speaker 1: taking your temperature YouTube in the comments, okay, because I
- 1:51Speaker 1: want to just take a poll to see who's team Veronica.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, and whose team anybody but Veronica. So
- 1:59Speaker 1: that could be Mica, that could be Berry, that could
- 2:02Speaker 1: be us. But like, if you are team Veronica, like
- 2:07Speaker 1: you get it, you understand what she's talking about, you
- 2:10Speaker 1: you you understand why she's angry, then just drop a
- 2:13Speaker 1: hashtag team Veronica in the comments.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I would love to know.
- 2:16Speaker 1: But if you are anti Veronica, if he thinks that
- 2:20Speaker 1: this shit is bananas b A n A n as,
- 2:25Speaker 1: then what you want to do is just hashtag anti Veronica,
- 2:30Speaker 1: anti Veronica. I just want to know, or no hashtag.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I just want to know what y'all are thinking, because
- 2:35Speaker 1: is it just me or is this chick wilding out?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Dude?
- 2:40Speaker 1: She is in is Shane losing her mind? She is
- 2:44Speaker 1: losing her mind, like YouTube, you gotta just let me
- 2:47Speaker 1: know what you're thinking. Are your team Veronica or your
- 2:49Speaker 1: team anti Veronica? I gotta know.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I hope those of you that were riding so hard
- 2:54Speaker 2: for Veronica at the beginning are feeling you're.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Such an I told you so much.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I'm not gonna tell it's my virgo rising. I told
- 3:02Speaker 2: you so bit.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like ooh god, such a bad look for Veronica.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So before we get into the episode, and do you
- 3:09Speaker 1: want to get like your major takeaway from this most
- 3:13Speaker 1: recent episode of Welcome to Plats, pil Beatrice.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'm just tired of these women coming in and telling
- 3:18Speaker 2: these plaths that they are unintelligent and emotionally immature and stupid.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Like I get it, like Ethan, for example, total emotional immature,
- 3:29Speaker 2: caveman potato potato, he is so underdeveloped, needs to be
- 3:35Speaker 2: cooked up a little bit more because he's ridiculous.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I get it.
- 3:38Speaker 2: But like, I don't know where all these people come
- 3:40Speaker 2: from that are like you know, big City just want
- 3:43Speaker 2: to tell these kids like you're all dumb, you were
- 3:46Speaker 2: raised poorly, Like I just don't like it, Like we
- 3:48Speaker 2: can hate the Plaths, but we don't need to be
- 3:51Speaker 2: so mean and condescending to them just because of how
- 3:53Speaker 2: they grew up. Yeah, I just don't appreciate Veronica telling
- 3:56Speaker 2: Mica that. Yeah, and so my takeaway is very similar.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I think like all talking about Veronica, but like my
- 4:02Speaker 2: takeaway is that I think we've tipped over from Veronica
- 4:08Speaker 2: has got some issues. Veronica was maybe bullied as a child,
- 4:12Speaker 2: and she doesn't really know how to communicate that. We've
- 4:13Speaker 2: tipped over from that into Oh, Veronica's abusive.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Yeah, Veronica is verbally, actively verbally abusing Micah and also Amber,
- 4:23Speaker 1: if you ask me, definitely. And in addition to that,
- 4:27Speaker 1: Veronica has no aptitude for self reflection because she knows
- 4:32Speaker 1: how she talked to these people, She knows what she
- 4:34Speaker 1: did last year in twenty twenty four and how she
- 4:37Speaker 1: showed her ass, and yet she had the audacity to
- 4:41Speaker 1: spend I don't know how many weeks or months on
- 4:43Speaker 1: a campaign against all of them, calling out Micah, divulging
- 4:48Speaker 1: information she shouldn't have, again showing her ass like she doesn't.
- 4:51Speaker 1: She doesn't have the ability to see her behavior in
- 4:55Speaker 1: any given moment, which is scary, it's frightening, so toxic
- 5:00Speaker 1: to me. Like the way she was just hulked over
- 5:04Speaker 1: across from Micah, who was like literally shrinking away and
- 5:09Speaker 1: trying to reason with this nightmare of a person. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: was just like, I feared for him. I'm like, what
- 5:15Speaker 1: else is happening in that household? Abuse doesn't just happen
- 5:19Speaker 1: to women. Abuse happens to men too, And I'm just like, Veronica,
- 5:22Speaker 1: you're scaring.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Me and.
- 5:26Speaker 1: I hate you. That's it. I hate you. I never
- 5:31Speaker 1: liked you, No, I always have my eye on you
- 5:34Speaker 1: from the beginning, but now I'm just like, I hate you,
- 5:37Speaker 1: like you're an evil, awful person to hurt somebody like that,
- 5:40Speaker 1: Like do you get off on that? What's wrong with you?
- 5:43Speaker 1: And I'll stop right there. That was my takeaway. I mean, based,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I get it. Okay. Well, then, without further ado, let's
- 5:49Speaker 1: get into the latest episode of Welcome to platfull season seven,
- 5:54Speaker 1: episode five, entitled The Secret.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The Secret, which I think is about Veronica Colin Olivia.
- 6:02Speaker 1: I would think, I guess or else it's it's not
- 6:05Speaker 1: Micah cheating because that was last week. Yeah, we already
- 6:07Speaker 1: talked about that. I don't know, so I have no idea.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But we start off wrapping up what happened last episode
- 6:14Speaker 2: where Micah and Ethan were grilling Zach after the proposal,
- 6:19Speaker 2: and we left off last week with Ethan asking Zach
- 6:22Speaker 2: if he was gay, and now we have his answer,
- 6:26Speaker 2: why are you gay? What are you gay? I caught
- 6:31Speaker 2: it so fuck it's funny, literally, like that's what Ethan
- 6:35Speaker 2: is saying, and Zach just says, I think, very kindly
- 6:39Speaker 2: and respectfully, no, I'm straight as an arrow. And Ethan's like,
- 6:44Speaker 2: are you bullshitting me? Though, because you're different from every
- 6:47Speaker 2: other man I've ever seen in my life, which I'm
- 6:50Speaker 2: just like, Ethan, you're such a.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Fucking loser, You're so stupid.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But Zach says, no, I'm not bullshitting you, Like, I'm
- 6:58Speaker 2: definitely definitely straight.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah, And everything I'm doing I'm actually doing to honor Lydia. Sure,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and this is something that we talked about, and this
- 7:08Speaker 1: is something that we prayed about, and this is our decision.
- 7:10Speaker 1: And it's because I love your sister that we're not
- 7:13Speaker 1: being intimate in any way and you can feel however
- 7:15Speaker 1: you want to feel about that'd be a Drea. Sure, Yeah,
- 7:17Speaker 1: but I mean I do think ultimately it's very respectful,
- 7:20Speaker 1: and I thought Zach was extremely mature in his responses
- 7:25Speaker 1: to both Micah and to Ethan, because Micah starts to
- 7:29Speaker 1: do like a little damage control dance where he's like, well,
- 7:32Speaker 1: there's nothing wrong with being gay, so like, if you're gay,
- 7:35Speaker 1: that's okay, but just don't be gay and marry my sister.
- 7:39Speaker 1: And it was all just so entirely cringe worthy. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: I really felt for Zach. And I won't belabor it
- 7:45Speaker 1: because we already talked about it last week, but I
- 7:47Speaker 1: felt like Zach conducted himself very well. He did much
- 7:52Speaker 1: better than I would have done in that situation, yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 1: for sure, because I would have been throwing hands with
- 7:56Speaker 1: those young men. For sure. He did very well well.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And I did think it was interesting that Micah said
- 8:03Speaker 2: there's nothing wrong with gay people, and Ethan did echo
- 8:06Speaker 2: that sentiment. He's like, there's nothing wrong with being gay,
- 8:08Speaker 2: I just don't want you to marry my sister if
- 8:09Speaker 2: you're gay, which was kind of interesting.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Do you believe him, I mean kinda, I don't, but
- 8:15Speaker 1: like he thinks there's something wrong with being gay, I
- 8:17Speaker 1: don't know.
- 8:18Speaker 2: It's hard for me to get a gauge on it, because,
- 8:20Speaker 2: like I know, homophobic people have encountered homophobic people in
- 8:24Speaker 2: my life as a homosexical, But I don't know. It
- 8:28Speaker 2: just was interesting that he even said that, because if
- 8:30Speaker 2: he had a problem with gay people, I feel like
- 8:32Speaker 2: he would have just been out and proud about that.
- 8:34Speaker 2: But I don't know who knows. I'm speculating, but I
- 8:38Speaker 2: did appreciate Zach's response. I thought he was very respectful,
- 8:40Speaker 2: and then I appreciated his talking head where he's like,
- 8:44Speaker 2: you know, I can understand why they're asking this because
- 8:47Speaker 2: they're being protective of their sister. And he's like, I
- 8:50Speaker 2: know that I have a little bit more of a
- 8:52Speaker 2: feminine error to me because I grew up with sisters. Like,
- 8:55Speaker 2: I'm not like a stranger to this kind.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Of That was an interesting comment, didn't you think? Yeah?
- 9:00Speaker 2: And he's like, I'm not a stranger to this kind
- 9:01Speaker 2: of questioning, but like, I know who I am. I'm
- 9:04Speaker 2: proud of who I am, and I'm like, you know what, cool,
- 9:06Speaker 2: And I'm sorry for judging you too as a fellow gay,
- 9:09Speaker 2: Like I'll just admit that.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Well, I just think we need more men who can
- 9:13Speaker 1: acknowledge their feminine side or not be embarrassed about it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I'll just say like, yeah, I was raised by and
- 9:19Speaker 1: with women, and I'm proud of that, and this is
- 9:20Speaker 1: who I am.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yep. Valid, Yeah totally. So that's kind of how we
- 9:25Speaker 2: wrap up that conversation, and Ethan does admit that he
- 9:29Speaker 2: was kind of coming off a little harsh. He's growing him.
- 9:32Speaker 2: He still doesn't really like him.
- 9:34Speaker 1: And he tells him that he does, which is rude.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You haven't earned my trust or you haven't earned my
- 9:40Speaker 1: liking you yet. I don't care. That doesn't mean anything
- 9:44Speaker 1: to the average person, Ethan, You're not the barometer of
- 9:47Speaker 1: morality or good people. Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I think my problem with that is him acting like
- 9:52Speaker 2: he is this authority of like I know who's a
- 9:54Speaker 2: good person in a like we're all at fault for something.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Like we're all like imperfect people, is what I'm trying
- 10:01Speaker 2: to say. Like you're not this like really cool guy.
- 10:04Speaker 2: You kind of turned into a bitter, alcoholic, like a
- 10:09Speaker 2: weird biggot guy, Like you're not perfect. So I thought
- 10:13Speaker 2: that was a little annoying. But we ended that conversation
- 10:17Speaker 2: with Ethan telling him you have to earn my respect,
- 10:19Speaker 2: and Zach's like, Okay, that's cool. I hope we have
- 10:22Speaker 2: like some opportunity for that in the future. Oh.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I wish my sister in law would have told me
- 10:27Speaker 1: I have to earn her respect. I'd been like, Okay, well,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm going to make it my life mission that you
- 10:32Speaker 1: earn my disrespect. Like, who do you think you are
- 10:34Speaker 1: telling me that I have to earn any of your
- 10:36Speaker 1: respects Ethan, like, just shut shut up.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I know you're not Lydia's dad either. It's like so
- 10:41Speaker 2: weird for like an older brother to be acting like this,
- 10:44Speaker 2: Like I could see a father acting like this to
- 10:47Speaker 2: be protective of.
- 10:47Speaker 1: His well maybe in the absence of Barry doing anything
- 10:51Speaker 1: like this, like the due diligence of a father to
- 10:53Speaker 1: make sure that the person entering the home or into
- 10:56Speaker 1: the family is like of good quality or it is
- 10:59Speaker 1: gonna be good for LYDDI Like, Barry just seems so
- 11:01Speaker 1: excited and gleeful that Lydia found somebody and is going
- 11:04Speaker 1: to have babies. Yeah, so maybe Ethan sees that, Micah
- 11:07Speaker 1: sees that, and they're like, Okay, let me step into
- 11:10Speaker 1: that void yep and fulfill that role. But he's just
- 11:13Speaker 1: not doing a good job of that.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Well because they're immature young twenty somethings that shouldn't be
- 11:20Speaker 2: the parent role in this. They should just be the
- 11:22Speaker 2: goofy older brother that's maybe giving him a little shit,
- 11:26Speaker 2: but it's trying to be happy for their sister, you know,
- 11:28Speaker 2: instead of they're coming off very harsh, very mean. But
- 11:33Speaker 2: then Micah does invite Zach down to Boca. He's like,
- 11:36Speaker 2: you know, you can come down with me and Veronica
- 11:39Speaker 2: because I want to see you actually work hard, And
- 11:42Speaker 2: the subtext of that is I want to see you
- 11:44Speaker 2: act like a man.
- 11:45Speaker 1: That's what I think is right.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yeah, because they want him to prove his masculinity, which
- 11:49Speaker 2: is kind of annoying.
- 11:50Speaker 1: And it's very annoying. It's not necessary inappropriate, and it's like,
- 11:55Speaker 1: who are you, Micah asking somebody to prove their masculinity.
- 11:59Speaker 1: That's kind of rich. Might go when you went to
- 12:01Speaker 1: La to be a model and you talked about your
- 12:04Speaker 1: own fluidity, and it's right, been on the internet and
- 12:07Speaker 1: people have been talking about your sexuality inappropriately, including us.
- 12:12Speaker 1: We like, you're no stranger to how that must feel,
- 12:15Speaker 1: but yet you have no problem doing it to Zach.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and so blatantly. And it's like what Kim said,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I think it was last episode where she's like, you know,
- 12:23Speaker 2: what if this is the kind of man that Lydia wants,
- 12:25Speaker 2: Like maybe she wants a man that's a little bit softer,
- 12:28Speaker 2: has a little bit more of a feminine side to it,
- 12:30Speaker 2: but like in a healthy way, and wants to coach
- 12:34Speaker 2: tennis and own.
- 12:35Speaker 1: A coffee shop.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Like maybe that's what Lydia wants And there's nothing wrong
- 12:38Speaker 2: with that. And I think that's where we kind of
- 12:41Speaker 2: have to leave it there, and then we bop on
- 12:44Speaker 2: over to Lydia and her bang and bod Yeah, feeding
- 12:47Speaker 2: the horses.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I can't get over it. It's like and I know,
- 12:50Speaker 1: like I'm in my fifties and I've had my season
- 12:53Speaker 1: of life where I was, you know, trapesing about with
- 12:56Speaker 1: my body yaddiy audi. But like I just am like, girl, Lydia,
- 12:59Speaker 1: do you do you even know? Like when I was
- 13:01Speaker 1: that age, rocking what I was rocking, I had no
- 13:04Speaker 1: idea first of all, was married to like everybody. Yeah,
- 13:07Speaker 1: Like I had no idea what I was working with
- 13:09Speaker 1: until now at this LGE late stage, I can look
- 13:12Speaker 1: back and go, oh my gosh, I was God, I
- 13:14Speaker 1: was foxy, you know, like Lydia, do you even know,
- 13:17Speaker 1: my god, how gorgeous you are. But like Lydia isn't
- 13:20Speaker 1: the sum of her body and like how pretty she is,
- 13:22Speaker 1: Like she's much more than that. But irrespective, I'm just like,
- 13:25Speaker 1: I just know those genes. I'm sure you did do lesbian.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I'm sure you noticed it. You love a blonde too,
- 13:30Speaker 1: I do.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I'm just I'm looking at her like damn. But she's
- 13:34Speaker 2: been horses. And this is her response to the whole conversation,
- 13:37Speaker 2: because after Zach left with Ethan and Micah, he immediately
- 13:41Speaker 2: told Lydia what happened, and Lydia says that she's not
- 13:45Speaker 2: mad at her brothers for asking Zach if he was gay.
- 13:48Speaker 2: She's just disappointed. And she does make a very interesting
- 13:52Speaker 2: comment towards Ethan where she says, Ethan waited to have
- 13:56Speaker 2: sex until after marriage, and I didn't think he was
- 13:59Speaker 2: gay for that, So I don't understand why he thought
- 14:02Speaker 2: Zach was gay for this, And I'm like, well, it's
- 14:05Speaker 2: not just the sex, it was him restricting any physical intimacy.
- 14:10Speaker 2: But at the same time, Lydia does say that it's
- 14:13Speaker 2: weird how we're in this day and age where a
- 14:16Speaker 2: man wanting to save himself for marriage and wanting to
- 14:21Speaker 2: respect my purity is seen as weird and gay when
- 14:25Speaker 2: I see it as a very beautiful, respectful, like divine
- 14:29Speaker 2: thing that we share together because he respects me so
- 14:32Speaker 2: much that he doesn't want to take advantage of me.
- 14:34Speaker 2: And I do think that that's the root of all
- 14:37Speaker 2: of it. I do think Zach does cherish her. Maybe
- 14:39Speaker 2: Zach looked at her and was like, man, this dying
- 14:42Speaker 2: piece is into a dork like me, Like I'm going
- 14:44Speaker 2: to cherish her to the day I.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Die immediately, immediately.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And I mean I think they. I think Lydia went
- 14:53Speaker 2: on Instagram recently and talked about the whole proposal, and
- 14:56Speaker 2: I guess like after it, he washed her feet, which
- 14:59Speaker 2: is something biblical. I don't know the significance of it.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And Jesus wash the disciples feet and he also allowed
- 15:09Speaker 1: was it Mary or Mary Magdalene to wash his feet
- 15:12Speaker 1: and she was crying with oil Like it's a very
- 15:15Speaker 1: putting yourself at the feet of somebody, meaning I'm honoring you,
- 15:19Speaker 1: like to serve and yes, to serve you, and you're
- 15:22Speaker 1: in a place of importance where I am serving you. Yeah,
- 15:25Speaker 1: And it's a very biblical thing to do.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah, So she talked about the whole proposal and how
- 15:28Speaker 2: it was so amazing. She did not talk about Ethan
- 15:33Speaker 2: and Micah and Veronica's behavior at the proposal. She did
- 15:37Speaker 2: say on Instagram she doesn't want to talk about it
- 15:39Speaker 2: because that would be gossip and she wants to have
- 15:41Speaker 2: a conversation with them first before she says anything. Okay,
- 15:44Speaker 2: so she only talks about like all the beauty and
- 15:47Speaker 2: the goodness of the proposal and not their trash ass, immature,
- 15:52Speaker 2: stupid behavior.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Right, and so sidebar a little bit. And I'm going
- 15:56Speaker 1: to try and articulate this because I'm not really sure
- 15:58Speaker 1: what I'm thinking. But there's a part of me that
- 16:02Speaker 1: is wondering what Lydia's motivation here is, because I know
- 16:06Speaker 1: she's sold out and radical for Jesus, Like, I get it. Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 1: i know you've picked somebody who shares those same values.
- 16:12Speaker 1: But it's interesting to me that you were going to
- 16:14Speaker 1: move to Colorado, but now you both are going to
- 16:17Speaker 1: move to South Georgia, which is where the cameras are.
- 16:20Speaker 1: That was interesting, which is where the show is taking
- 16:23Speaker 1: place for the most part. And I'm just kind of wondering, like, Okay,
- 16:28Speaker 1: but you don't want to talk about the things in
- 16:30Speaker 1: the show, but it seems like maybe you really want
- 16:33Speaker 1: to be a part of the show because you're going
- 16:35Speaker 1: to relocate your man, So like, please don't play both
- 16:39Speaker 1: sides of this in the long run is kind of
- 16:41Speaker 1: what I'm getting at, Like, don't just profess to be
- 16:43Speaker 1: this Christian who's not going to gossip, but then be
- 16:45Speaker 1: on a show like this where your brothers are literally
- 16:48Speaker 1: violent toward one another and you've got this crazy toxic behavior,
- 16:51Speaker 1: and then you're not going to be upfront and truthful
- 16:53Speaker 1: about it. I know.
- 16:55Speaker 2: She posted a four part video series on Instagram talking
- 16:58Speaker 2: about the whole proposal, and it was literally just all
- 17:01Speaker 2: of the good things about it, and she's smiling and
- 17:03Speaker 2: being very happy.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I couldn't watch.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I was bored, and it was very boring because it
- 17:06Speaker 2: was just her talking about comment.
- 17:08Speaker 1: After comment after comment. Well, but what did you think
- 17:10Speaker 1: about your brothers? What did you think about Ethan? What
- 17:12Speaker 1: did you think about the comment? And no response?
- 17:15Speaker 2: Yeah, And then people are theorizing because she said I
- 17:18Speaker 2: don't want to talk about my brothers without talking to
- 17:20Speaker 2: them first, and people were like, sorry, you not talking
- 17:22Speaker 2: to them?
- 17:23Speaker 1: So have you not addressed this behavior because I'm assuming
- 17:26Speaker 1: that you know that Isaac almost killed Micah at your wedding,
- 17:30Speaker 1: Like have you not had conversations? What's going on? Yeah?
- 17:33Speaker 2: Like just be real. And if the Ploths start being
- 17:37Speaker 2: like the Sister Wives where they start giving us bullshit
- 17:41Speaker 2: on the TV, I'm not watching it.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Yeah, So I'm not getting that from the rest of
- 17:46Speaker 1: the Plaths. Even Amber, who's only fifteen years old, seems
- 17:50Speaker 1: to want to tell the truth. She's so bad and
- 17:52Speaker 1: out people who are toxic. It might just be about
- 17:55Speaker 1: Lydia and her Christianity and kind of wanting to stay
- 17:59Speaker 1: in what I might frame as toxic positivity, like everything's
- 18:02Speaker 1: great and everything's blessed by Jesus, and so she just
- 18:05Speaker 1: doesn't really know how to live in those shadowy aspects
- 18:08Speaker 1: right unfortunately, because has always going to come back to
- 18:11Speaker 1: bite you as girl.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Definitely, yeah, definitely. And then switching gears, we go down
- 18:17Speaker 2: to Boca where we have Ethan and Amber visiting Veronica
- 18:23Speaker 2: and Micah. And this is where shit starts getting.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Weirds and weird because.
- 18:29Speaker 2: We start off with just Amber and Veronica because like
- 18:33Speaker 2: Ethan and Micah are out doing some project or whatever
- 18:35Speaker 2: at their other house. And it's already kind of awkward
- 18:40Speaker 2: with Veronica and Amber because Veronica starts talking mad shit
- 18:44Speaker 2: like immediately about the family, about Barry, about Mariah, about
- 18:50Speaker 2: how they all hate her, and she feels unwelcomed and
- 18:54Speaker 2: that's just like what happened to Olivia. And Amber's like,
- 18:58Speaker 2: can you like chill out a little bit? Like why
- 19:00Speaker 2: are you talking so much trash about my family? Like
- 19:02Speaker 2: I think you kind of over exaggerate things a bit.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I feel like you get stuck in your head and
- 19:07Speaker 2: you're making things bigger than it needs to be. And
- 19:10Speaker 2: this starts to piss Veronica off. And then Ethan and
- 19:13Speaker 2: Micah arrive back from their project or whatever, and Veronica's
- 19:18Speaker 2: making these like comments passive aggressive towards Amber. Yeah, because
- 19:24Speaker 2: everybody's gaslighting me now about what your family has done
- 19:28Speaker 2: to me and how they were unwelcomed to me at
- 19:31Speaker 2: the proposal.
- 19:33Speaker 1: And I was trying to go back to last week,
- 19:36Speaker 1: and I didn't really get any of that from any
- 19:39Speaker 1: of the family members. I thought that Veronica was hanging
- 19:42Speaker 1: out with Ethan and Micah, she was instigating a lot
- 19:45Speaker 1: of the drama. She was hanging out with Teagan and
- 19:49Speaker 1: she was talking to people, it didn't seem like anybody
- 19:52Speaker 1: was actively rejecting her, Like I think what happened was
- 19:56Speaker 1: Mariah came and neither of them, Veronica nor Mariah said
- 20:00Speaker 1: high to each other. But Veronica is just as guilty
- 20:02Speaker 1: as Mariah. And also when Barry came, I don't think
- 20:05Speaker 1: he had any space for Veronica and her bullshit, And
- 20:10Speaker 1: so there was no conversation between Barry and Veronica, which
- 20:13Speaker 1: I guess in her troubled mind, in my opinion, equals
- 20:18Speaker 1: that they were unwelcomed to her and treated her like crap.
- 20:21Speaker 1: And this is kind of what I think Micah's trying
- 20:25Speaker 1: to get to and also Ethan when they're talking about
- 20:27Speaker 1: like how it just keeps getting bigger, like each comfense
- 20:32Speaker 1: just begets to other offenses like offense hydra and it's
- 20:36Speaker 1: like a never ending victimization story for Veronica, Like is
- 20:41Speaker 1: there ever going to be a resolution to any of this,
- 20:44Speaker 1: Like are you ever going to be able to have
- 20:46Speaker 1: a conversation, for example, with Mariah where you're going to
- 20:49Speaker 1: be able to get past this? And it honestly feels
- 20:52Speaker 1: like she on purpose intentionally will never get past it,
- 20:57Speaker 1: just so that she can make Mariah feel as bad
- 20:59Speaker 1: as possible, and everybody else feels bad as well.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yes, because it's all about her. I'm like, what do
- 21:04Speaker 2: you mean you felt unwelcome at Lydia's proposal. It's not
- 21:09Speaker 2: about you. No one is there to say hi to you.
- 21:12Speaker 2: They are there for Lydia to witness her engagement, and
- 21:16Speaker 2: that's it. It's just like what Amber had said at
- 21:19Speaker 2: the proposal about how Veronica changes into this little Forever
- 21:24Speaker 2: twenty one sequin dress, and she wanted everybody to look
- 21:27Speaker 2: at her and be like, oh my god, why you're
- 21:29Speaker 2: so beautiful, and it's like, no, it's not about you.
- 21:32Speaker 2: It was never.
- 21:33Speaker 1: About you, and that equals they treat me badly.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I'm unwelcome, right, and so I to hate me.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I've got a trump into the forest and contact their
- 21:41Speaker 1: arch nemesis Olivia serious and talk crap about the family.
- 21:45Speaker 2: It's just crazy. And then you're like talking shit to
- 21:48Speaker 2: Amber who doesn't want to hear it, and she's trying
- 21:50Speaker 2: to tell you.
- 21:51Speaker 1: And she's fifteen, Beatrice based, she's fifteen years old. Yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 1: so for a fifteen year old girl, she's extremely intuitive, insightful.
- 22:01Speaker 1: She sees exactly what Veronica is doing. She tries to
- 22:06Speaker 1: in the moment combat what Veronica is saying, like, but
- 22:09Speaker 1: she doesn't have the skills because she's fifteen fifteen, Like Veronica,
- 22:13Speaker 1: in what world do you think it's okay for you
- 22:16Speaker 1: to just emotionally, toxically dump all over this fifteen year
- 22:20Speaker 1: old girl. She's not your therapist, she's not your best friend,
- 22:23Speaker 1: she's a child, you.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Weirdo seriously, and then you want to say that she's
- 22:27Speaker 2: gaslighting you, and that everyone in the family is gaslighting you.
- 22:30Speaker 2: And then you want to act like this in front
- 22:33Speaker 2: of Micah's siblings, like while they're coming here just to
- 22:35Speaker 2: visit and you already are to help you.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Yeah, to help you with your second home because you've
- 22:40Speaker 1: got some sort of construction things that you need done.
- 22:43Speaker 1: So they're here to actually put in some physical labor
- 22:46Speaker 1: on your behalf. And this is what you're doing. This
- 22:48Speaker 1: is what we're doing. So can we just sidebar and
- 22:51Speaker 1: can you tell me Beatrice what you think her agenda
- 22:55Speaker 1: here is, Like is she just mentally unwell in your opinion,
- 22:58Speaker 1: like she just can't help her She's just an unhinged
- 23:02Speaker 1: parrot who just says all of the awful things that
- 23:05Speaker 1: bounce around in her big head. Or is she acting?
- 23:09Speaker 1: Is she trying to secure like the villain role on
- 23:12Speaker 1: a show, Like what do you think is happening?
- 23:14Speaker 2: I don't think she's acting. I think all of it
- 23:16Speaker 2: comes from a genuine place, which is she is upset
- 23:19Speaker 2: that Micah has cheated on her so prolifically. I think
- 23:22Speaker 2: she is so hurt and so insecure because again, like
- 23:26Speaker 2: I had said, I think last week or the week before,
- 23:28Speaker 2: this beautiful man who's probably out of her league. I'm
- 23:31Speaker 2: just gonna say that, I mean probably Like it looks
- 23:34Speaker 2: wise like this beautiful man cheated on you so many
- 23:37Speaker 2: times and that broke you. But instead of dealing with
- 23:41Speaker 2: the root of that, you, as the emotionally unintelligent person
- 23:45Speaker 2: in the room, you want to claim everyone else is
- 23:47Speaker 2: emotionally unintelligent and immature. You're the one that's reacting from
- 23:53Speaker 2: vitriol and anger because you're actually angry at Micah for
- 23:57Speaker 2: cheating on you, which is fair and valid, But you're
- 23:59Speaker 2: not gonna articulate that. You're gonna shit all over Mariah,
- 24:02Speaker 2: who is just a troubled girl herself and obviously is
- 24:07Speaker 2: very lost, and she apologized to you in a letter
- 24:10Speaker 2: because she doesn't. She's like actually afraid of you and
- 24:14Speaker 2: afraid of confrontation, and you still are gonna shit all
- 24:18Speaker 2: over that and say that it wasn't a good enough apology.
- 24:20Speaker 2: And isn't Mariah like older than her or like maybe
- 24:25Speaker 2: around her same age?
- 24:26Speaker 1: I was thinking she was younger, but if she's not younger,
- 24:29Speaker 1: then they're the same age. I don't think she's much older,
- 24:32Speaker 1: if at all.
- 24:33Speaker 2: She must be like a year or two younger than her,
- 24:35Speaker 2: if anything. But it's like you want to shit all
- 24:37Speaker 2: over her. You want to shit all over Barry. You
- 24:39Speaker 2: want to shit all over Kim, which is fine because
- 24:41Speaker 2: Kim sucks, but like you want to shit all over
- 24:43Speaker 2: these people. Micah is trying to work shit with it,
- 24:47Speaker 2: work out shit with you, but you are mad at
- 24:49Speaker 2: him and that's the root. And like if you were
- 24:52Speaker 2: able to actually articulate that and be like, you know what,
- 24:54Speaker 2: you fundamentally broke me as a person because you cheated
- 24:58Speaker 2: on me so much because I loved you and I
- 25:00Speaker 2: wanted you to come move in with me, and I
- 25:02Speaker 2: found out that you were sleeping with all of these
- 25:05Speaker 2: other people, Like I'm so hurt and offended, like you
- 25:07Speaker 2: could have worked on that in your relationship, but no,
- 25:10Speaker 2: you want to come for everybody else, and then you
- 25:12Speaker 2: want to frame it like you're so emotionally mature and
- 25:17Speaker 2: you're just like Olivia.
- 25:18Speaker 1: No, you're just like Olivia.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I was just alisted by the family, just like Olivia.
- 25:23Speaker 2: So therefore all of my feelings are true and valid.
- 25:27Speaker 2: That's what I think.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yes, I think that that has merit your theory. And
- 25:34Speaker 1: I've also read on Reddit that apparently around the time
- 25:40Speaker 1: of the cheating and or around the time of the
- 25:43Speaker 1: filming that we're watching in these scenes, that Veronica had
- 25:47Speaker 1: a miscarriage with Micah. Have you seen that?
- 25:50Speaker 2: I've heard I think she said that in comments, but
- 25:54Speaker 2: I don't know if we've seen it on TV yet.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Right, And no, we haven't seen it on television. But like,
- 25:58Speaker 1: if we really want to go the extra mile and
- 26:02Speaker 1: try to give her some grace, so like if in
- 26:03Speaker 1: this moment her hormones are crazy because she's suffered that
- 26:08Speaker 1: kind of a loss, which is tragic and sharble. In
- 26:10Speaker 1: addition to having found out that Micah had cheated Wow previously, yeah,
- 26:15Speaker 1: I had been months before that she found out about Micah,
- 26:19Speaker 1: Like I can see how you would be emotionally dysregulated. Sure,
- 26:23Speaker 1: but that doesn't give you the excuse to be abusive
- 26:27Speaker 1: to anybody or to condescend to somebody, and to make
- 26:32Speaker 1: somebody feel stupid and dumb and low and less than you.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Only super insecure people need to make other people feel
- 26:42Speaker 1: as low as them. Yeah, because they don't know how
- 26:44Speaker 1: to figure out for themselves how to make themselves feel better. So,
- 26:48Speaker 1: like I mean, Veronica, if you're not in therapy, honey,
- 26:52Speaker 1: you need to be in therapy, like you need to
- 26:53Speaker 1: be in immersive, intensive therapy for the way that you
- 26:58Speaker 1: are conducting yourself. And furthermore, take some personal responsibility. The
- 27:02Speaker 1: fact that Micah cheated on you is dogshit and you
- 27:06Speaker 1: shouldn't have to put up with that. And I dare
- 27:08Speaker 1: say you should have dumped him, left him, sent him
- 27:11Speaker 1: back home to Cairo. However, you made the conscious choice
- 27:15Speaker 1: as an adult woman to stay with Micah and to
- 27:18Speaker 1: work it out. And so if that is your intention
- 27:21Speaker 1: to stay with Micah and work it out, then that
- 27:23Speaker 1: should be the spirit in which you conduct yourself with him,
- 27:26Speaker 1: not this punitive looking for every single opportunity to not
- 27:31Speaker 1: just put him down but his entire family, which is
- 27:33Speaker 1: probably the only other thing that he has in his life. Like,
- 27:37Speaker 1: you've made it your mission to damage all of that
- 27:41Speaker 1: so that you can hurt him for the thing that
- 27:42Speaker 1: he did to you that you chose to forgive. Exactly.
- 27:45Speaker 1: If you can't forgive this man, if you can't move
- 27:48Speaker 1: on in a healthy way, then you owe it not
- 27:51Speaker 1: to him but to yourself to walk away, because you're
- 27:53Speaker 1: becoming an abusive asshole exactly, and there's no excuse for it.
- 27:58Speaker 1: There's no way that you can paint it. There's no
- 28:00Speaker 1: amount of shit that Micah has done to you that
- 28:03Speaker 1: excuses the shit that you're currently doing to him. And
- 28:06Speaker 1: you're still acting out on social media because apparently, like
- 28:10Speaker 1: when people are calling Veronica out on her Instagram in
- 28:13Speaker 1: her comments telling her about herself, like she will go
- 28:17Speaker 1: to their profile, she will take pictures of them, and
- 28:20Speaker 1: then she will post their pictures and make fun of them.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I've seen that, Yep, I've seen that on Instagram.
- 28:24Speaker 1: And you want to lecture people about emotional intelligence, give
- 28:29Speaker 1: me a absolute nightmare of a person. We all see
- 28:33Speaker 1: right through you. And that's got to be the scariest
- 28:35Speaker 1: thing for you because you were trying to erect this
- 28:38Speaker 1: illusion of who you were. You were trying to sell
- 28:40Speaker 1: that to everybody on social media before the season began,
- 28:44Speaker 1: because you were so afraid that we were going to
- 28:46Speaker 1: see exactly who it is that you are. I'm sorry
- 28:48Speaker 1: it didn't work. We see you for who you are,
- 28:51Speaker 1: and it's really troubling. And I'm an old enough person
- 28:55Speaker 1: that I'm just not going to toss you out and
- 28:57Speaker 1: say like you're a piece of trash and you deserve
- 28:59Speaker 1: no forgi No. I think you're a broken person. I
- 29:02Speaker 1: think you're super problematic, honey. I think you need help,
- 29:05Speaker 1: and I hope you have a family, Like where are they?
- 29:08Speaker 1: Who are they? At least we got to meet some
- 29:10Speaker 1: of Olivia's family, but like, who's your family? Why aren't
- 29:13Speaker 1: they being featured? Do you have any friends? I don't
- 29:16Speaker 1: see anybody in your life rather than the people in
- 29:18Speaker 1: this show. Yep, And I worry about that for you.
- 29:21Speaker 1: But at the same time, if you're not gonna help yourself,
- 29:24Speaker 1: then get fucked.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Veronica, straight up, Like you can't have it both ways,
- 29:27Speaker 2: Like you can't have this, Like I'm gonna forgive Micah,
- 29:30Speaker 2: but then I'm gonna also shit all over him in
- 29:32Speaker 2: his entire family every chance that I get and call
- 29:34Speaker 2: him a spineless worm and get antagonistic with him and
- 29:39Speaker 2: argue with him on national television, Like you can't have
- 29:42Speaker 2: it both ways. You either deal with it, and you say,
- 29:46Speaker 2: you know what, Mike, I can't get over the fact
- 29:47Speaker 2: that you cheated on me. It really fucking hurts me.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It breaks me to my core. I know you want
- 29:51Speaker 2: to work on it with me, but like, I can't
- 29:53Speaker 2: be with you because you cheated on me and I
- 29:55Speaker 2: feel less than a person. We're gonna break up. No,
- 30:00Speaker 2: you want to be with him and then shit all
- 30:01Speaker 2: over him because that makes you feel big.
- 30:03Speaker 1: And it's also not doing what you're hoping that it's
- 30:05Speaker 1: going to do. Like this man who cheated on you
- 30:08Speaker 1: and who did you legitimately dirty, is going to get
- 30:11Speaker 1: sympathy from the audience because now you're abusing him exactly,
- 30:14Speaker 1: and so it's like it's just going to turn people
- 30:17Speaker 1: against you, Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Because your behavior is so shitty, it's actually unhinged.
- 30:21Speaker 1: It's abhorrent, honey, it's crazy gross.
- 30:25Speaker 2: And then we shift gears before we get to the
- 30:27Speaker 2: actual conversation with Micah and Veronica, and we go back
- 30:30Speaker 2: to the Plath family home, where we have Mariah, her rando,
- 30:33Speaker 2: weird friend Sydney or something something I don't know, forgettable character,
- 30:38Speaker 2: and then we have Barry and they're like in the
- 30:41Speaker 2: kitchen playing chubby Bunny, and I'm like, why are we
- 30:44Speaker 2: watching this?
- 30:45Speaker 1: I think that the producers are attempting to show us
- 30:49Speaker 1: a different version of Barry, which he ultimately ends up
- 30:52Speaker 1: elaborating on because you want somebody with humor, etc. But
- 30:55Speaker 1: like a different version of Barry and where his headspace
- 30:59Speaker 1: is in relation to his kids, Like he just wants
- 31:01Speaker 1: to be there for his children. He wants to have fun,
- 31:05Speaker 1: he wants to be accessible, he wants to be supportive.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Now do we agree with everything that Berry's doing? Not
- 31:09Speaker 1: necessarily no, But I mean I thought this was awfully wholesome. Yeah,
- 31:14Speaker 1: and I know a lot of people hate Berry and
- 31:16Speaker 1: I get it, but I was like, this is sweet actually,
- 31:19Speaker 1: And I think also it's what Mariah needs in this moment. Yes,
- 31:22Speaker 1: she's about to leave to go to Montana. She needs
- 31:25Speaker 1: her dad to just love her and support her and
- 31:28Speaker 1: send her off in a good way. I thought when
- 31:30Speaker 1: they went to the bar after this scene, I thought
- 31:32Speaker 1: it was kind of fun. Let me ask you a question. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:35Speaker 1: and everybody else. And if you're on YouTube dropping the comments,
- 31:38Speaker 1: let me know, did you feel a vibe a little
- 31:41Speaker 1: bit between Barry and Sidney a little bit with anybody?
- 31:45Speaker 2: It was really fucking.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Weird picking up on that. Well, they just seem to
- 31:48Speaker 1: have like a great rapport. Sydney was very funny. Obviously,
- 31:52Speaker 1: she's very young, straight out of my smut novels with
- 31:55Speaker 1: the stage gap and the daddy kink and all that job.
- 31:58Speaker 1: But I'm just saying like I was just feeling a
- 32:01Speaker 1: little something, and I was like, Okay.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of felt like like Mariah is so oblivious
- 32:06Speaker 2: because all these kids are pretty naive to things like this,
- 32:09Speaker 2: and Barry's also drinking his hardsider like he's also just
- 32:13Speaker 2: as oblivious. Be boop up, you know. But I feel
- 32:15Speaker 2: like Sidney was kind of flirting.
- 32:17Speaker 1: A little bit, was she was?
- 32:19Speaker 2: It?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Just me?
- 32:19Speaker 2: I mean, look, your daughter and I were watching this,
- 32:22Speaker 2: and she kept going on and on and on about
- 32:25Speaker 2: how jacked and good looking Berry was looking. She's like,
- 32:28Speaker 2: my god, he's so easy on the eyes. And I'm like,
- 32:30Speaker 2: are we watching the same person? She's like, no, like
- 32:34Speaker 2: he's gotten so like handsome, he's jacked, Like I like
- 32:38Speaker 2: his beard. She just kept going on on and on
- 32:40Speaker 2: about him. But I don't know, maybe Sidney was like
- 32:43Speaker 2: kind of crushing on Barry.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Maybe Barry was kind of feeling Sydney a little bit
- 32:48Speaker 1: because well, she's the exact opposite of Kim. She is funny,
- 32:54Speaker 1: she's having well, no, Kim does like to drink, doesn't she. Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 1: like she's fit, She's like all of these things that
- 33:01Speaker 1: Kim is not. And I don't know, I was just
- 33:03Speaker 1: like in my mind, I was just like kind of
- 33:05Speaker 1: fantasizing about it a little bit. It's kind of cute.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I don't know, it's kind of cute. Broh, Sorry, Age Gap, No,
- 33:12Speaker 1: you all right? Well, Sidney looks older than Mariah, Like
- 33:16Speaker 1: she looks might be in her thirties.
- 33:18Speaker 2: She could still be his child though.
- 33:19Speaker 1: That's okay, But like if he's in his fifties. I mean,
- 33:21Speaker 1: it's not unheard of, is all I'm saying. Okay, you
- 33:24Speaker 1: can read it too much, smut. I know I have
- 33:26Speaker 1: been I do love an age Gap, But I.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Did love when we were talking about dating a little
- 33:31Speaker 2: bit at the bar, like when they were sending Mariah
- 33:34Speaker 2: off to Montana. I loved how Barry made a point
- 33:37Speaker 2: of saying, I'm not really interested in dating right now,
- 33:40Speaker 2: but in the future I would be looking for a
- 33:43Speaker 2: woman with a great sense of humor and who is
- 33:46Speaker 2: physically active. I was dying when I was watching that,
- 33:51Speaker 2: because we all know what that means.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Anybody but Kim, anybody who's thin and thick can move, well,
- 33:59Speaker 1: she's a power. She's a ballerina. I saw her kick
- 34:03Speaker 1: up her leg on that bar, like she can move
- 34:05Speaker 1: her body. So I'm sorry. Part of me I apologize,
- 34:08Speaker 1: but like somebody who has the same interest wants to
- 34:10Speaker 1: get in the gym via gym Bunny and what not. Sure,
- 34:15Speaker 1: but I did. I did receive that subtle shade from Berry.
- 34:19Speaker 1: And also when they were in the kitchen eating all
- 34:21Speaker 1: those marshmallows, how Maria was talking about how all the
- 34:24Speaker 1: kids were raised to not have any sugar, Like it
- 34:28Speaker 1: just creates this opening where we have to ask the
- 34:31Speaker 1: question though, like so if you couldn't eat sugar, and
- 34:34Speaker 1: clearly you're all very thin and fit and all these
- 34:37Speaker 1: things like what happened with Gim. She was drinking a
- 34:42Speaker 1: lot because she was eating, she was eating. It was alcohol, sugar.
- 34:46Speaker 1: It was eminem sugar, but she was eating the sugar.
- 34:50Speaker 2: She definitely yeah sugar. And I mean, I think I
- 34:54Speaker 2: think I said this last week, where I kept it
- 34:56Speaker 2: to myself. I don't know, but I think that's why
- 34:57Speaker 2: she was wearing those miniskirts. I think that's why she
- 35:00Speaker 2: wears many skirts because she sees Barry and she's like,
- 35:02Speaker 2: I feel like somewhere deep down within her, she's like, man,
- 35:05Speaker 2: I fucked up. Oh yes, and like, look, I will
- 35:09Speaker 2: say this to the day I die. I know it's Barry.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I know it's beat boopop Barry. I can't imagine he
- 35:15Speaker 2: is like great in bed. I can't imagine good at
- 35:19Speaker 2: the kind of lingus. Maybe he is.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Sometimes those are the guys that are great at kunny lad.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Maybe I don't know. I get that, like somebody wouldn't
- 35:28Speaker 2: want to be married to him. But just judging by
- 35:31Speaker 2: their divorce glow ups, Barry is looking great, Kim is
- 35:37Speaker 2: looking busted.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Wow, we're all thinking it. Yeah, And I don't think
- 35:44Speaker 1: those short skirts are going to be calling him back
- 35:48Speaker 1: into your orbit, Kim.
- 35:52Speaker 2: And it's kind of hard to escape that.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Wow. No comment.
- 35:59Speaker 2: We were do at the beginning yeah, politically good is
- 36:03Speaker 2: all right. But then we go back to Boca and
- 36:05Speaker 2: this is where we have Micah and Veronica's really toxic
- 36:09Speaker 2: ass fight, and I don't even really remember how it starts.
- 36:14Speaker 2: I think it starts with like Micah saying he really
- 36:16Speaker 2: wants to fix this, and I think the way that
- 36:18Speaker 2: he's sitting in his body language is very earnest, Like
- 36:21Speaker 2: I don't think he's coming off aggressively. No, remember, Mikey,
- 36:25Speaker 2: Micah is a pisces. Like I do think that he
- 36:28Speaker 2: feels very deeply. I do think that he loves Veronica
- 36:31Speaker 2: very much, and I think he wants this to work.
- 36:34Speaker 2: I don't know, I don't know, but he really is
- 36:39Speaker 2: coming into this conversation in earnest, and Veronica immediately is like, no,
- 36:43Speaker 2: you don't want to fight this, fight for this. You
- 36:45Speaker 2: want to fight me, And He's like, no, I fucking don't,
- 36:47Speaker 2: like I care about you. I want to figure out
- 36:50Speaker 2: a way where I can have a relationship with my
- 36:53Speaker 2: family and still have a relationship with you. I want
- 36:56Speaker 2: to work on this with you, but like, you're not
- 36:58Speaker 2: really willing to want to see my family as completely
- 37:01Speaker 2: evil and I'm trying to tell you that their intentions
- 37:04Speaker 2: are not as nefarious as you are making them out
- 37:07Speaker 2: to be. And Veronica's like, no, you're just gaslighting me,
- 37:10Speaker 2: and she's just just so fucking aggressive.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Yeah, there's nothing that he can say that will penetrate
- 37:16Speaker 1: her wall. And what the agenda that I think she's
- 37:20Speaker 1: trying to run, because in this moment, I think that
- 37:23Speaker 1: she's very aware of the cameras and I think she's
- 37:26Speaker 1: trying to embarrass him on camera. And I really just
- 37:30Speaker 1: wished in that moment that Michael would have just said, Okay,
- 37:33Speaker 1: I'm just gonna walk away. You don't seem interested in
- 37:36Speaker 1: this conversation. You honestly don't seem interested in having a
- 37:40Speaker 1: relationship with me where there's a meeting of the mind.
- 37:43Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna get up and go hang out
- 37:44Speaker 1: with my family and just leave you here, you poisonous,
- 37:47Speaker 1: toxic snake. But he didn't, And again, I just want
- 37:51Speaker 1: to draw attention to his body language, the fact that
- 37:56Speaker 1: he looks like he's losing weight, the fact that he
- 37:59Speaker 1: just energy is kind of just shrinking in on itself.
- 38:03Speaker 1: It feels to me like he's had these types of
- 38:06Speaker 1: conversations quite a lot. And later in this episode, when
- 38:09Speaker 1: he's talking to Amber and Ethan and Veronica is not there.
- 38:12Speaker 1: She's like, you know, it's great when it's just me
- 38:15Speaker 1: and Veronica, but as soon as any of my family
- 38:18Speaker 1: come around, this is what I have to deal with.
- 38:21Speaker 1: And he doesn't know what to do. And I thought
- 38:24Speaker 1: it was ironic that she's accusing him of being this
- 38:29Speaker 1: emotional dunce, this stupid person who doesn't know how to
- 38:32Speaker 1: navigate relationships, while she's actively being verbally abusive to him,
- 38:39Speaker 1: and he is being so self disciplined because I would
- 38:43Speaker 1: have beat her ass. Oh how to beat her fucking
- 38:45Speaker 1: ass in that moment hood it's straight. I'd be like, okay,
- 38:47Speaker 1: oh so we're fighting, okay, and I hopped up, took
- 38:49Speaker 1: my earrings off, and we'd be doing that thing, okay.
- 38:52Speaker 1: But he didn't. He restrained himself. He was very careful
- 38:55Speaker 1: with his words. Really, he did not insult in kind
- 38:59Speaker 1: like he was so emotionally intelligent. He was and so
- 39:02Speaker 1: and she was not. She was absolutely the opposite of that.
- 39:05Speaker 1: And I'm just like Veronica, and I.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Feel like Mica this entire time has been really trying
- 39:10Speaker 2: to see her side and all of it. And he
- 39:13Speaker 2: even says something to that effect, like he's like, I
- 39:15Speaker 2: always take her side. I really am trying to advocate
- 39:19Speaker 2: for her, but it's getting harder and harder to do
- 39:22Speaker 2: that every day because her issues become more and more complex,
- 39:27Speaker 2: and they become more and more insane and irrational because
- 39:31Speaker 2: they are because it's just coming from like just this
- 39:34Speaker 2: place of unresolved anger. And Veronica even says something like
- 39:38Speaker 2: this has been brewing and brewing for months, and the
- 39:41Speaker 2: proposal was just the straw that broke the canvas back.
- 39:44Speaker 2: But I'm just like, again, the proposal was not about you.
- 39:47Speaker 2: It was not a family intervention. Nobody's supposed to go
- 39:50Speaker 2: over there and like talk to you at Lydia's proposal
- 39:54Speaker 2: and hash out issues like this is a day for Lydia.
- 39:57Speaker 2: It's not a day for you and your pitch ass.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Uh. Just it's not frustrated narcissism happening. I don't know
- 40:03Speaker 1: if there's an intersection, and I'm straight up being an
- 40:08Speaker 1: armchair diagnostician, but like, is there an intersection between like
- 40:11Speaker 1: BPD and NPD? Like, is there a world where you
- 40:16Speaker 1: know she regards every event as needing to be about
- 40:20Speaker 1: her and having light shed upon her? But at the
- 40:23Speaker 1: same time, cannot control herself and needs to also abuse
- 40:25Speaker 1: people in that moment. I don't know. I'm not saying
- 40:27Speaker 1: she's these things. I'm just saying there's something so very,
- 40:30Speaker 1: in my opinion, so very mentally wrong with her that
- 40:33Speaker 1: she couldn't see herself in this moment, because I've been
- 40:36Speaker 1: in arguments with my husband and I've seen myself and
- 40:40Speaker 1: felt myself losing my mind. Oh yeah, like being an
- 40:43Speaker 1: absolute fucking asshole.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I remember I early on in our relationship, I was
- 40:48Speaker 1: popping off about some shit and I was totally unregulated,
- 40:51Speaker 1: and he just did in the doorway and he laughed
- 40:54Speaker 1: at me. He's like, do you hear yourself? I'm just
- 40:56Speaker 1: wondering if you can hear the things that you're actually
- 40:58Speaker 1: saying right now. But like, having the ability to be
- 41:01Speaker 1: able to be aware of yourself and the things that
- 41:03Speaker 1: you're saying in a moment is a skill that we
- 41:06Speaker 1: develop as we age. But like I notice, Micah has
- 41:09Speaker 1: the skill. Yeah, And it's kind of interesting that he
- 41:12Speaker 1: lacked a lot in his life, but he had a
- 41:15Speaker 1: lot in his life too that equipped him to be
- 41:18Speaker 1: able to deal with her in this moment. And then
- 41:20Speaker 1: it made me ask the question, well, of Veronica, what
- 41:22Speaker 1: didn't you have in your life that gives you this
- 41:25Speaker 1: perceived permission for you to abuse somebody, like the way
- 41:28Speaker 1: that you're abusing them.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Right, It's really crazy, Like just watching her talk to
- 41:32Speaker 2: him and then she comes out with I've been talking
- 41:35Speaker 2: to Olivia for months and she says this in a
- 41:38Speaker 2: way like she's got him. Yeah, And it's like we
- 41:41Speaker 2: as the viewers, are like, you're stupid, because she's like,
- 41:44Speaker 2: I've been talking to Olivia for months. I know everything,
- 41:47Speaker 2: I know everything that's happened in the family, and so
- 41:50Speaker 2: therefore I'm completely right in my feelings because she, in
- 41:54Speaker 2: this moment and still to this day, thinks that she
- 41:57Speaker 2: is on the same level as Olivia, uh huh. And
- 42:00Speaker 2: she thinks that she has been wronged just like Olivia,
- 42:03Speaker 2: that she has been unwelcomed.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Just like Olivia.
- 42:05Speaker 2: And like, look, you guys can listen to our older
- 42:07Speaker 2: podcasts where we rip Olivia to shreds and we analyze
- 42:10Speaker 2: her behavior in all of the prior seasons and everything,
- 42:13Speaker 2: and you give her a lot of grace. I'm very
- 42:16Speaker 2: hard on her, but like we analyze all of that, Veronica,
- 42:20Speaker 2: you're not in the same.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Boat, Veronica, you are no Olivia like at least Olivia,
- 42:26Speaker 1: as we discussed last week, was in process trying to
- 42:28Speaker 1: figure herself out. She was in the process of deconstructing
- 42:31Speaker 1: finding herself and there was a lot that went into that.
- 42:35Speaker 1: And also in many instances she handled herself with grace,
- 42:40Speaker 1: not always believing she was able to like she I
- 42:44Speaker 1: just think she conducted herself with so much more maturity.
- 42:47Speaker 1: And I don't believe Veronica when she says that she's
- 42:51Speaker 1: been talking to Olivia for months. I think Veronica has
- 42:54Speaker 1: probably talked to her twice. Yeah, the first time when
- 42:57Speaker 1: she called her when she was in her home and
- 42:59Speaker 1: we saw. The second time was at the engagement. I
- 43:01Speaker 1: don't think they're talking to each other every week and
- 43:04Speaker 1: key keying like girlfriends, because I don't think Olivia would
- 43:07Speaker 1: hang out with somebody like Veronica. I think Olivia's moving
- 43:10Speaker 1: on yet. I think Olivia's got her life, she's got
- 43:13Speaker 1: her business, she's got her aspirations. She doesn't have time
- 43:16Speaker 1: for a vindictive person, small minded person like Veronica.
- 43:21Speaker 2: And like I've said before in prior recaps, I think
- 43:24Speaker 2: with Olivia, it comes from a genuine place of trauma
- 43:27Speaker 2: like her family I think was very abusive, and I
- 43:30Speaker 2: think she was traumatized by her family, and I think
- 43:32Speaker 2: that she views the Plaths in the same light that
- 43:35Speaker 2: she views her own family, because they all came from
- 43:37Speaker 2: fundamentalist religions and therefore she had a lot of hatred
- 43:41Speaker 2: and a lot of anger towards the Plaths that maybe
- 43:44Speaker 2: some of it was warranted, but maybe some of it
- 43:46Speaker 2: came from her own family and her own shit and
- 43:49Speaker 2: her own deconstructing. But like you said, she got out
- 43:52Speaker 2: of it. She's traveling and going to Croatia and bathing
- 43:56Speaker 2: in beautiful, clear Mediterranean waters and not giving a fuck.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I mean, she posts a little bit here and there
- 44:03Speaker 2: of like spilling the tea about the Plats because she's
- 44:06Speaker 2: still she has to deconstruct from that exactly, and that's
- 44:10Speaker 2: exactly what it is. Veronica is just unhinged and crazy
- 44:15Speaker 2: and so Mike, in her opinion, you think you're dropping
- 44:18Speaker 2: a bomb on Micah. You think that you've got them
- 44:20Speaker 2: in the corner, like I know everything.
- 44:23Speaker 1: It's just another way for her to hurt Micah. Yes,
- 44:26Speaker 1: because she knows that that's going to explode like a
- 44:29Speaker 1: bomb with Ethan and Barry and the rest of the family,
- 44:32Speaker 1: and she just wants to hurt people, and why do
- 44:35Speaker 1: you want to hurt people so much? Hurt people, hurt people.
- 44:38Speaker 1: And so I really wonder what the story is of Veronica,
- 44:41Speaker 1: Like if we could learn with some vulnerability on her part,
- 44:44Speaker 1: like what she has been through, that would cause her to.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Act this way, right because I maybe we would have
- 44:50Speaker 2: a little bit more compassion, But right now, no, you
- 44:53Speaker 2: a crazy.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Ass f bit you Veronica.
- 44:56Speaker 2: And she says something like at the end of it,
- 44:59Speaker 2: you know, I think I'm gonna leave and I'm gonna
- 45:01Speaker 2: go to the other house that we have and I'm
- 45:02Speaker 2: just gonna like find myself.
- 45:03Speaker 1: And I'm just like, okay, bye, yeah, Sea. I wish
- 45:06Speaker 1: you would God, get out of here, pack up all
- 45:09Speaker 1: in the air in the room. God, just straight up.
- 45:12Speaker 2: And then we get to the end of the episode
- 45:15Speaker 2: where we have the plaths, like we have Ethan, Amber
- 45:19Speaker 2: and Micah like helping building a fence.
- 45:23Speaker 1: In they're also beautiful, Oh my god, Amber is so beautiful,
- 45:28Speaker 1: Like in the shots of her speaking with Veronica when
- 45:31Speaker 1: they pan to Amber, like in a ray of sunlight,
- 45:33Speaker 1: I'm just like, I know you are an angel. You
- 45:36Speaker 1: are beatific. You are so beautiful, and you know what,
- 45:40Speaker 1: She's confident, she's secure in her she's cool, she's very cool.
- 45:45Speaker 1: She's the coolest. Definitely, maybe Isaac is on par in
- 45:50Speaker 1: terms of coolness, but like Amber is the cool one
- 45:53Speaker 1: and she's very just so beautiful and she loves her family,
- 45:57Speaker 1: and I want to preserve that for her, even though
- 45:59Speaker 1: the plot have their problems. I want to preserve like
- 46:02Speaker 1: a happy family for Amber to the littles, And like
- 46:06Speaker 1: I've had a therapist tell me before, every single family
- 46:09Speaker 1: has their problems. Every single family has some level of
- 46:12Speaker 1: like dysfunction and is not perfect. But that's what family is,
- 46:16Speaker 1: and it's about like learning how to deal with everybody.
- 46:19Speaker 1: And I think Amber was saying something in her talking
- 46:22Speaker 1: head about Veronica, about how she doesn't understand what it's
- 46:25Speaker 1: like to be in such a large family, Like not
- 46:28Speaker 1: everybody talks to each other every single day. Everybody has
- 46:32Speaker 1: different levels of relationships with each other because you have
- 46:35Speaker 1: such a large family. And like with the Plath specifically,
- 46:38Speaker 1: Amber says, as a fifteen year old, she's awake, dude.
- 46:42Speaker 1: She's like, our family is a bunch of thinkers, not feelers,
- 46:46Speaker 1: Like we don't. We're not always expressive, but that doesn't
- 46:49Speaker 1: mean that we hate you or that like we're angry,
- 46:52Speaker 1: Like we're just.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Be Boo bops. We come from be Boo Bob Barry,
- 46:56Speaker 2: who's not very emotionally expressive, be three po yes as
- 47:00Speaker 2: one hundred percent, and then Kim fucking Plath, who's a
- 47:03Speaker 2: whole nutcase herself. You know, they're not perfect, but they're
- 47:06Speaker 2: not these like evil people that Veronica's trying to paint
- 47:09Speaker 2: them as. And so, while the Plaths are building the
- 47:13Speaker 2: fence for Veronica's bitch ass who's just in her house
- 47:16Speaker 2: with her dogs, stewing and getting mad, apparently, Micah starts
- 47:20Speaker 2: talking to Ethan about how Veronica, ever since their fight,
- 47:24Speaker 2: has been chewing him out non stop, probably texting him
- 47:28Speaker 2: like an insane person. It got so tense in the
- 47:31Speaker 2: house that Ethan and Amber had to go get a
- 47:33Speaker 2: freaking hotel because Amber, sorry Veronica is so unhinged that
- 47:38Speaker 2: they don't want to be around her, and uh, Micah
- 47:42Speaker 2: starts opening up about his relationship about how you know,
- 47:45Speaker 2: every time we have a fight, Veronica threatens to leave,
- 47:49Speaker 2: which is emotionally manipulative and abusive to do to people
- 47:53Speaker 2: like just fucking leave if you're gonna threaten it so
- 47:55Speaker 2: much like geez and uh. I think Micah tells then
- 48:00Speaker 2: that Veronica has been talking to Olivia, and you can
- 48:03Speaker 2: see how this makes Ethan man, the.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Way his face just fell and the expression of abject anger,
- 48:16Speaker 1: and also like the veils falling away, because I think,
- 48:19Speaker 1: for whatever reason, up until this moment, he's been trying
- 48:22Speaker 1: hard to give Veronica the benefit of the doubt.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Yep.
- 48:26Speaker 1: Like I think he's been trying to be very graceful
- 48:29Speaker 1: with her and for her, But in this moment, when
- 48:32Speaker 1: the ghost of Olivia is invoked, he's just like, oh,
- 48:36Speaker 1: hell no, it is on. Yeah, you know. Then we
- 48:40Speaker 1: get to the preview and like we see like how
- 48:42Speaker 1: he starts to regard Veronica, but like he's totally taken
- 48:46Speaker 1: by surprise.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think he says something to the effect
- 48:49Speaker 2: like that sealed the deal for him with Veronica. He's like, Okay,
- 48:53Speaker 2: I know she's been tainted by the by the demon
- 48:56Speaker 2: that as Olivia is what he's basically saying. And then
- 49:01Speaker 2: Micah starts saying something like Veronica calls him a spineless worm,
- 49:05Speaker 2: and she probably calls him some other really heinous shit.
- 49:08Speaker 2: I mean, this is this is the kind of shit
- 49:10Speaker 2: that you don't say to somebody that you claim to
- 49:12Speaker 2: love and you need to have forgiven.
- 49:15Speaker 1: And I thought it was weird that Ethan really didn't
- 49:18Speaker 1: flinch at that. I know, when Micah said that Veronica
- 49:23Speaker 1: called him that, Ethan just kind of took that in stride.
- 49:26Speaker 1: It wasn't until he learned that Olivia was involved that
- 49:30Speaker 1: he stopped what he was doing and like looked at Micah.
- 49:32Speaker 1: But I'm just like, hmm, that's interesting. It makes me
- 49:35Speaker 1: wonder if you've heard some of that type of invective
- 49:40Speaker 1: and rhetoric in your previous relationships, not necessarily just with Olivia,
- 49:44Speaker 1: but like in your childhood, in your family, like if
- 49:46Speaker 1: this is something maybe you all have some familiarity with.
- 49:50Speaker 1: But it didn't seem to surprise him.
- 49:52Speaker 2: No, it didn't, which is really interesting. That change in
- 49:56Speaker 2: his affect between the spineless worm and then the Olivia
- 49:59Speaker 2: thing was very very.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Because if you told me that my daughter called you
- 50:03Speaker 1: a spineless worm or vice versa, I would be like,
- 50:06Speaker 1: hold up the fuck, let's stop right now, let's sit
- 50:10Speaker 1: down and let's have a conversation, because we don't do that.
- 50:15Speaker 1: That is not okay and this needs to stop. And
- 50:17Speaker 1: I want to help you guys to get the help
- 50:19Speaker 1: you need, Like I would like immediately call an emergency
- 50:22Speaker 1: meeting or whatever. Yeah, like for Ethan to just keep
- 50:25Speaker 1: it moving. I'm just like, what was going on?
- 50:27Speaker 2: That's very odd, right, And then Micah asks something very
- 50:31Speaker 2: interesting that I thought, where he says, you know, do
- 50:34Speaker 2: we really make people feel this way? Because our family
- 50:38Speaker 2: really this fucked up that we make people feel this way?
- 50:41Speaker 2: And I thought that that was a very interesting thing
- 50:44Speaker 2: for somebody who's so emotionally unintelligent to ask, because if
- 50:47Speaker 2: you're so emotionally unintelligent, you wouldn't be aware of how
- 50:51Speaker 2: you or your family make other people feel. But the
- 50:54Speaker 2: fact that Micah is reflecting on that and is wondering, like,
- 50:58Speaker 2: are we really this terrible? And Ethan says no, because
- 51:02Speaker 2: Teagan gets along great with our family. Klin, who's I yeah,
- 51:07Speaker 2: Isaac's honeypop is getting along just fine. Like these people
- 51:12Speaker 2: are fine with our family and they enjoy our family
- 51:15Speaker 2: and love our family, and our family loves them. So
- 51:17Speaker 2: it's these other problem bitches that have come in that
- 51:21Speaker 2: are having issues. And I just I wonder what other
- 51:24Speaker 2: viewers make of that question, because there's a lot of
- 51:28Speaker 2: people that really hate the Plaths, like hate the Plaths
- 51:32Speaker 2: and think that they're all terrible people, and like we
- 51:35Speaker 2: come for everybody in this show, like nobody's free of criticism.
- 51:38Speaker 2: But I just wonder if people are kind of reflecting
- 51:42Speaker 2: on their own perceptions of this family, because I don't
- 51:44Speaker 2: think that they're all terrible. I think they all have
- 51:47Speaker 2: their issues, but I don't think that they're evil.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Oh, I definitely don't think that that most of them
- 51:53Speaker 1: are evil. I think the most problematic troublesome Plath is Kim, definitely,
- 51:59Speaker 1: and I think Olivia had experiences with Kim that were
- 52:05Speaker 1: very bad. And I actually think it's in such poor
- 52:07Speaker 1: taste for Veronica to leverage Olivia's legitimate experience with the
- 52:13Speaker 1: family and i e. Specifically with Kim, for herself, as
- 52:17Speaker 1: if like weaponizing Olivia's lived experience to validate her campaign
- 52:23Speaker 1: of abuse against Micah. Like you're not Olivia. You haven't
- 52:27Speaker 1: been around as long as Olivia's been around. You haven't
- 52:31Speaker 1: experienced anything that she has. You have not integrated yourself
- 52:36Speaker 1: into this family the way that Olivia has, so like
- 52:38Speaker 1: don't use her experience to justify your really bad behavior.
- 52:44Speaker 1: But that's what abusers.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Do, definitely, and Ethan and Micah both point that out,
- 52:49Speaker 2: they both saying something to the effect of Veronica is
- 52:52Speaker 2: just looking for validation. She's just looking for somebody to
- 52:56Speaker 2: tell her that her feelings are because all the time
- 53:01Speaker 2: they're crazy. And Micah says something very emotionally intelligent where
- 53:05Speaker 2: he says, I think Veronica is wrong a lot of
- 53:08Speaker 2: the time, and she doesn't like to be wrong, and
- 53:11Speaker 2: so she's looking for people to tell her that she's right.
- 53:14Speaker 2: And so she's going to people like Olivia and to
- 53:17Speaker 2: people on the internet and read it and saying all
- 53:20Speaker 2: this shit so that way she can have people tell
- 53:22Speaker 2: her like, yes, Queen Slay, you're doing so great and
- 53:26Speaker 2: there's nothing that is wrong about your behavior or your
- 53:28Speaker 2: feelings because we believe you. And now it's starting to
- 53:33Speaker 2: come out and come to light that Veronica's crazy.
- 53:38Speaker 1: Well, and it begs the question, okay, well, now that
- 53:41Speaker 1: you don't have the support of your ex boyfriend, his
- 53:45Speaker 1: family and the audience and Reddit and Instagram anymore, how
- 53:51Speaker 1: are you, like what's going on in your mental state,
- 53:54Speaker 1: in your interior world? Because you really seemed desperate for
- 53:59Speaker 1: that validation, and Micah andn Ethan are wright and in
- 54:02Speaker 1: these moments, you're desperate for validation, Like how are you
- 54:05Speaker 1: right now? I think she is flailing. I think she's
- 54:09Speaker 1: going on the offense because she feels really defensive about
- 54:13Speaker 1: her bad behavior. But I just wonder where that's going
- 54:16Speaker 1: to lead her. And when we get into the preview,
- 54:18Speaker 1: when the whole family like sits around and confronts her,
- 54:22Speaker 1: you can kind of see her face like she looks
- 54:24Speaker 1: like she's about to cry and or is crying, like
- 54:26Speaker 1: she's being confronted with the totality of her bad behavior.
- 54:31Speaker 1: And I'm very curious to see how she handles that
- 54:34Speaker 1: moment because it is also happening in real time August
- 54:37Speaker 1: of twenty twenty five. She's being confronted by her bad
- 54:40Speaker 1: behavior by us yeap, So how's she going to handle that?
- 54:43Speaker 1: Oh my god, She's going to crumble.
- 54:45Speaker 2: And I feel like she will lean farther into her
- 54:47Speaker 2: behavior because I think she's got an ego on her
- 54:51Speaker 2: and I think she doesn't want to be wrong, because
- 54:53Speaker 2: it takes a lot to admit that, like, Okay, I've
- 54:57Speaker 2: fucked up, you know, and if she was so so
- 55:00Speaker 2: emotionally intelligent, she would be able to do that and
- 55:02Speaker 2: she would be able to reflect and be like, you
- 55:04Speaker 2: know what, Yeah, I showed my ass on National TV.
- 55:08Speaker 2: I really shouldn't have called Micah all of these names.
- 55:10Speaker 2: I was being a total fucking raging bitch and I
- 55:14Speaker 2: didn't know how to chill out. But no, like you
- 55:17Speaker 2: went on Reddit before the season dropped, you spilled all
- 55:20Speaker 2: of this shit, like this crazy stuff Ethan trying to
- 55:25Speaker 2: burn zach alive and a hate crime which was a lie,
- 55:28Speaker 2: which was a fucking lie. But people are trying to
- 55:31Speaker 2: say that maybe that wasn't the real fire, maybe there's
- 55:34Speaker 2: a further fire.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I think that's what she was referring to. But also
- 55:38Speaker 1: Micah almost had his nose detached from his face, and
- 55:41Speaker 1: we see it's like a couple of stitches, right, So
- 55:44Speaker 1: Amber's one hundred percent correct when she's like, you like
- 55:48Speaker 1: escalate things and you're irrational, which is what the word
- 55:51Speaker 1: that Amber actually used, which is accurate. You're irrational and
- 55:55Speaker 1: you're constantly escalating to the next thing.
- 55:57Speaker 2: And I think Micah even said something like that, like
- 56:00Speaker 2: I think he said, I think when you have an opinion,
- 56:04Speaker 2: and you keep believing that opinion over and over and
- 56:07Speaker 2: over again, it becomes hardwired in your brain and so
- 56:10Speaker 2: therefore you believe it to be true. And that's what
- 56:13Speaker 2: he's saying with Veronica, like she has concocted this story
- 56:16Speaker 2: and this perception of the Plaths and this perception of
- 56:20Speaker 2: Barry and Mariah and everybody and making her feel unwelcomed,
- 56:22Speaker 2: and she has just repeated it over and over and
- 56:24Speaker 2: over again.
- 56:25Speaker 1: It's created aural pathway.
- 56:27Speaker 2: Yep, that's exactly what it is. And unless you take
- 56:30Speaker 2: a humble pill and realize I was wrong.
- 56:34Speaker 1: She's not there, dude. There are some behaviors that are
- 56:37Speaker 1: like indicative of unregulated, unmedicated or unthrapized personality disorders, and
- 56:43Speaker 1: I do personally think we're seeing some of that in Veronica.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Like I when I say I think she needs help,
- 56:50Speaker 1: she does. I think she needs like real intensive help,
- 56:55Speaker 1: because if she doesn't, she's not just going to continue
- 56:57Speaker 1: to hurt other people with her vipe tongue and her actions,
- 57:02Speaker 1: She's also going to continue to herself. She's going to
- 57:04Speaker 1: be alone. She's not gonna be able to be in
- 57:06Speaker 1: healthy relationships where there's a healthy give and take and
- 57:09Speaker 1: like like an understanding between two people. She's not capable
- 57:13Speaker 1: of it at this level, at least based on what
- 57:15Speaker 1: we are seeing.
- 57:16Speaker 2: No, I agree, And in the preview we also have
- 57:20Speaker 2: Lydia trying on dresses beautiful, she looks gorgeous. We have
- 57:25Speaker 2: Amber saying that it's a little rushed, but she's happy.
- 57:28Speaker 2: And then we have Barry saying he's got the drip.
- 57:31Speaker 2: I love Barry using twenty twenty five drip terms. It's
- 57:37Speaker 2: so fucking funny to be God's stupid God for real,
- 57:41Speaker 2: for real. And then we have Kim trashing Barry because
- 57:45Speaker 2: she can't stand the fact that Barry is winning from
- 57:48Speaker 2: this divorce, like she cannot handle it.
- 57:51Speaker 1: But you can't.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Kim is mad that Barry is trying to act like
- 57:56Speaker 2: the fun, loving, exciting dad and the Disney Day and
- 58:01Speaker 2: he doesn't want to be mean and ask questions, which
- 58:04Speaker 2: I mean fair a little bit. I've been saying that too,
- 58:07Speaker 2: Like I don't like the fact that he's just like
- 58:09Speaker 2: Gung Ho t Kim.
- 58:12Speaker 1: No, the woman who's had like an adulterous affair and
- 58:15Speaker 1: a dui where she wrapped her car around a tree
- 58:17Speaker 1: is not the one to be complaining about Barry's positivity
- 58:21Speaker 1: and his happy life. Like maybe if Micah and Isaac
- 58:24Speaker 1: and Ethan want to talk about like what they wish
- 58:26Speaker 1: their dad would do in this situation, like that would
- 58:29Speaker 1: be a little bit more legitimate. But like, Kim, the
- 58:32Speaker 1: hell up, I'm like.
- 58:32Speaker 2: What are you doing? Are you interrogatings like no, you're
- 58:35Speaker 2: also supporting it. But there is a scene in the
- 58:38Speaker 2: preview where she says something like we all feel very
- 58:41Speaker 2: pressured to accept somebody that we don't know. And this
- 58:45Speaker 2: is what I was trying to get at last week
- 58:47Speaker 2: that it's like, you know, it's a little hard to
- 58:51Speaker 2: accept somebody that just came into Lydia's life within four months.
- 58:55Speaker 2: They've only spent like a week together. They were primary,
- 58:58Speaker 2: they were mainly distance before getting married.
- 59:02Speaker 1: Girl, I accepted you. I was watching movies with you,
- 59:04Speaker 1: I was inviting you over your company.
- 59:07Speaker 2: But it was quick, hunny, Yeah, but I got to
- 59:10Speaker 2: know you. We didn't get married until after nine months.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Thank you. My bad, So my bad. But I'm just
- 59:17Speaker 1: saying like, yeah, I understand it's an adjustment, but then
- 59:20Speaker 1: don't make it. If you don't want to make it,
- 59:21Speaker 1: then don't If you do want to make it, then
- 59:22Speaker 1: show up and be a part of it. Like just
- 59:24Speaker 1: shut up. Yeah, no Ethan throwing the tables at the
- 59:27Speaker 1: wedding or whatever, Like, Okay, come on people, if you
- 59:29Speaker 1: don't want to be there, if you don't support it,
- 59:32Speaker 1: then just don't ruin it for other people.
- 59:34Speaker 2: Exactly. Yeah. So I'm very like it seems like we're
- 59:37Speaker 2: leading up to the wedding. I don't know if that's
- 59:38Speaker 2: going to be like the season finale, or if we're
- 59:41Speaker 2: going to get to it like in two weeks or
- 59:44Speaker 2: next week.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I want to get to so.
- 59:47Speaker 2: I want to get to it so bad because we
- 59:50Speaker 2: have like Lydia and Zach saying that their wedding was peaceful.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I don't know if that's like and.
- 59:54Speaker 1: They were being sarcastic.
- 59:56Speaker 2: I would hope so, because I'm like, there.
- 59:58Speaker 1: Was a violent fight, everybody was drunk, give me one margarita.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: They were having.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Fun, unless the fight happened after they left and it
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: was just a weird party thing and everybody was drunk
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: and see getting crazy. But I just want to see
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: that wedding sold.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: We're not going to see it because the way that
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Micah refers to it in the talking head in the
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: preview is like, yeah, well there was a problem at
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: the wedding, so he's kind of summarizing what happened as
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: opposed to like clips of the wedding or anything else,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: do you know what I mean?
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but we were seeing like Teagan and Ethan showing
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: up at the wedding and Veronica saying she didn't want
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: to sit next to Ethan and Tegan at the wedding,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: and so maybe we'll.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: See some of that. But in terms of the violins,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: the violambs, but that's what I want to see. I
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: want to know what drives my sweet baby, I say,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you know, to punch his brother's lights out. I know,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: then I want to see him do it. I'm sorry,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I'm a terrible raccoon.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: Ship. I just want to see it all.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Yes, And is there anything else?
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: That's pretty much it.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Well, and we are actually going to be going over
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: the mid season trailer on our Patreon and we're going
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: to just be talking mad shit. And we're also going
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: to be looking at the upcoming Sister Wives new season.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: They dropped a trailer. There's a lot going on, and
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: we're going to talk about that, but again only on Patreon. Yeah,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: so make sure you join us if you can. Now, Beatrice,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: is there anything else that we need to say to
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: these beautiful raccoons before we get up on at a here?
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Well, if you love our podcast, please go to your
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: favorite podcast platform and leave us a glowing five star review.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: Really helps more raccoons join us in the dumpster, so
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: we can maybe get to six thousand subscribers one day.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Ohly God, that would be so great. Oh, I'm raying
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: for the day.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I agree.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: We're going to be back next week to talk Sister
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Wives in More Plaids Bill. We've got a lot coming
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: up for fall twenty twenty five. Make sure you come
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: back for that. But until then, please do not forget
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: that we have nothing but love for you, and please
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: alight
