  You know, it was, it was busy. The funny part is outside of the

  Like it was all DSN really for that whole day, which was which

  was great. I'll talk real quickly about the

  power to to jump on what Corey's talking about South Thad.

  Well, Sean goes early, really early in the morning, like I'm

  just now getting to sleep when Sean's starting and then Thad
• 3:04
  went live. He did a fundraising event on
• 3:10
  the people mover for 8 hour stream.
• 3:12
  He did 30 something laps, I want to say was 33 laps on the people
• 3:17
  mover. In that time raised $12,000 for
• 3:20
  pancreatic cancer. Sierra was then inspired by that
• 3:27
  and so she comes to me with an idea.

  So I have been inspired and I'll let everybody know right here
• 3:36
  that come September, the entire Disney Streamer Network will be
• 3:43
  doing a fundraising charity event for the Starlight
• 3:46
  Children's Foundation, which does great work all over the
• 3:50
  country in children's hospitals. And so we're going to have it
• 3:54
  set up to where the DSN is the corporate quote UN quote
• 3:59
  fundraiser and then every one of our channels in the network is
• 4:05
  going to do their own fundraising.
• 4:08
  So living in Diz will do their own fundraising and cruise and
• 4:12
  theme park guide and monks Disney strolls and everybody's
• 4:15
  going to be doing their own fundraising.
• 4:17
  But it's all going to roll up to 1 big check from the Disney
• 4:22
  Streamer Network. So that event is going to come
• 4:24
  out in September. Very excited about that.

  We are just putting that all together.
• 4:30
  The cool thing about the Starlight Children's Foundation
• 4:34
  is that they work with streamers already, but on twitch.

  So this will be new bringing YouTube streaming into this and
• 4:42
  on twitch they'll do. The cool thing is you can do
• 4:45
  however you want to raise funds. If you want to do an 8 hour
• 4:47
  people move a stream, go for it. You want to do, you know,
• 4:50
  fundraising in your neighborhood, go for it.

  You want to raise at your kids school, go for it.
• 4:56
  You want to get, you know, a pie in the face, Go for however you
• 5:00
  want to raise the funds. Is is fine.

  And it's those type of, you know, pie in the face type

  things. That's what they do on twitch.

  So just just get your get your get your brain running, see what

  what you want to do on that. But I think it's going to be

  very cool to be a part of something that big.

  Oh yeah, It shows the power of a group, you know, all at once to

  do something good. So that's that's awesome.

  Yes, Iora was inspired by that and was was talking to me about

  that on the way out of the out of the park.

  So I I could only imagine how nervous you were as you were

  getting driving to the park, getting to the park, because it

  was a very different day for you.

  It was a very different day. If you know, I, I, I touched on

  a little bit here and there, but you know, Lawrence has been

  producing. How long had it been?

  Felt like a year. In the current form, it had to

  have been at least since August, but before that it was November

  of the prior year. OK.

  Yeah, yeah. So well over a year.

  So, you know, when graphics became available on other

  formats, I was talking to Lawrence about this.

  I think I was the first to run graphics and I was producing

  from the from the park on my phone.

  So I had some experience there. And then Lawrence was like, hey,

  we got some better tech over here, you know, let me kind of
• 6:49
  take over and see if we can produce from home.

  And he was experimenting with some of the newer tech that some
• 6:54
  of the newer channels were coming out with.

  And yeah, it just came time for Lawrence to pass the baton.

  Or if you let me hit you with a pie in the face?

  I'll go on. The scariest What the scariest?

  should have been off and running, but it didn't and it

  led to many sleepless nights. I spent a lot of nights leading

  up to Saturday, 2:00 in the morning because I don't give up.

  I fight, fight, fight. Sent Lawrence a million

  scenarios. We went over them.

  Greg was helping with some ideas as well as Aaron.

  So I got to give everyone their shout outs, you know?

  And after all that, it came down to one thing.

  And when it was figured out, boom, it was like a big sigh of

  relief. I, I, it's, it's the, we went

  through a lot of scenarios and, and I searched 1 and I know you

  were like, I don't know if that's it.

  I'm like, I'm going to try it anyway.

  And I did it and it worked and I tried it three times and it
• 8:30
  worked. I couldn't call you fast enough.

  I'm so glad that you picked the phone up and you couldn't see
• 8:35
  it. But when you picked up the
• 8:36
  phone, it was kind of like a soccer player that like jumps to
• 8:39
  their knees and like pump, you know, throws a fist up when you
• 8:42
  answer it. I was like, I forgot what I
• 8:45
  said. I'm like, it's been done, it's
• 8:47
  been done or something like that.

  We have figured it out. So yeah, that's that was a
• 8:54
  relief. And so leading to the heading to
• 8:56
  the park on a Saturday. Well, I tested again before we

  left and I felt pretty comfortable in the process of

  it. So I don't think, I don't think

  I was too worried about it. Did I sound like I was worried

  about it all? I don't even know if I
• 9:13
  communicated with you much. I don't no, I don't think so.

  And I, and I purposely didn't communicate with you a lot

  because I wanted you to just, you know, kind of settle in,

  settle in, you know, and. What I thought was this, I was

  like instead of jumping into the chaos of Main Street or whatever

  and trying to do this, you know where it's brighter out and just
• 9:35
  trying to find a spot to get everything started.

  I'm like, why don't I just fire this up?

  I forgot where I did it now I might have done it right while
• 9:42
  we were waiting for the monorail.

  So I'm like, let me just do it in a little more calming
• 9:47
  situation get everything set up and I'll hit go when I hit go.

  So I did that and and it worked so that's great.

  I know I feel like if it doesn't work, I can always fall back and
• 9:59
  just start a stream on streamlabs.

  So that's OK too. And the graphics worked well.

  It's it's there's one tiny tech piece that we have to talk

  about, you know, if you have a device about it.

  But the OBS blade, what every time I flipped off it to go look
• 10:14
  at chat it it I had to restart it.

  It froze every time I flipped flipped it out of the way to go
• 10:22
  back it would it freezes. So I have to reconnect

  basically. So yeah.

  But ultimately it, it went well. I was so happy with the, you

  know, the quality is amazing. And I also feel like I'm forming
• 10:38
  some rules for myself too, because you don't want to be
• 10:41
  nose in the phone the entire time either.

  You also want to take in what's going on around you too.

  So I kind of have, I'll probably have a loose rule of like, OK,
• 10:51
  if I'm heading to small world, if we're walking around, I'm
• 10:53
  like, oh, let's hit small world is a small, it's a slow wait
• 10:56
  time. I mean, it's a quick wait time,

  you know, if it's like 5 minutes, 6 minutes and I'm not
• 11:01
  going to really be in line very long, I probably won't throw a
• 11:03
  logo up for it. But if I'm going to be in there
• 11:06
  for a little bit, I think the, the logo serves a greater
• 11:10
  purpose when you're in there for 2025 minutes and people come in
• 11:13
  and like, hey, where are you? And they just kind of pop in and
• 11:15
  say, oh, you're in Winnie the Pooh.

  So, you know, so I won't, I won't be super consistent with
• 11:20
  it for that reason. But it's I want them all there

  for when I can, when I want to or can use them.

  Well, it you talked about taking in the moment, you certainly had

  a couple moments to take in Saturday night getting to Main
• 11:35
  Street and just hearing, you know, I'm going to, I'm going to

  pull that clip and show it on Thursday on the well, I'm sorry,

  on the Monterey report, I don't have it for time on the Monterey
• 11:51
  report. We're doing a best of the DSN

  for the week. And so that's going to be that's

  going to be one of the clips that we show.

  So yeah, that was that was a moment.

  It's it's a it's a moment in the channel history in the upcoming

  eight years of this channel. That was a moment.

  So if anybody wasn't watching or, you know, you're not sure

  what we're talking about, Tammy and I were heading down to Main,

  down Main Street for a good position for happily ever after.

  And my ears are always aware anyway.

  But I sometimes I pick up people yelling out living it is or

  whatever. And you know, I'll wave to them.

  And I hear a group starting to chant across the street on the
• 12:36
  other sidewalk. And now my, my attention's
• 12:39
  raised a little bit. I'm like, what, what I'm like
• 12:41
  that sounds like this, this, this.

  I turn, I look over and it's a whole high school.
• 12:46
  The marching band that marched earlier in that day was cheering
• 12:51
  for us a chant. And so I stopped and I looked at
• 12:54
  them and they just erupted screaming.

  And then it was like the wave at a sporting event because it was
• 13:02
  like a, what do you call that group mentality?
• 13:04
  Yeah, yeah. People, people were looking
• 13:06
  around them and they felt like, oh, oh, I should cheer for
• 13:09
  these. People.

  So left and right, we had the middle of Main Street just
• 13:13
  cheering us all on for Tammy and I'm like, this is for us.
• 13:16
  I'm like, that is crazy. And then when we took our spot
• 13:20
  close to them, a bunch of them came over and asked for
• 13:23
  pictures. And one of the one of the one of
• 13:25
  the boys was like, Oh my God, this is this made my trip, this
• 13:27
  made my trip. This is so great.
• 13:28
  And that's part of what it's all about.
• 13:30
  It's that's the stuff that keeps me inspired.

  At those kids, first of all, I mean, they're not going to
• 13:35
  forget that trip anyway. They were marching down Main
• 13:38
  Street, right? But then it's over and it, you
• 13:41
  know, they had people cheering for them earlier in the day,
• 13:45
  right? As they're marching down not
• 13:46
  only Main Street, they March the whole thing and then they're
• 13:50
  just, they're just enjoying it. And I guess the first kid that I
• 13:55
  heard say something when you went over to them was talking
• 13:58
  about how they've been watching you since you were on Haunted
• 14:01
  Mansion. Yes, Tammy had pointed them out.
• 14:04
  She goes, those boys are watching you and I'm like, oh, I
• 14:07
  see them. They were having a good time
• 14:08
  with. That were they in the queue or?
• 14:10
  The pre show, they're in the queue outside and they get the
• 14:14
  phone and sometimes people will like they want you to know
• 14:16
  they're watching and all that. And so I didn't I quite didn't
• 14:20
  catch their their eye when when I looked, they kind of look away
• 14:23
  a little bit, but I could tell what they were doing.
• 14:24
  They were trying to get our. They got Tammy's attention for
• 14:27
  sure. Yeah, and and so he said that he
• 14:30
  had been watching since since you were on Haunted Mansion.
• 14:32
  And then, you know, just how much fun they were having.
• 14:38
  And to think that they were being cheered on earlier.
• 14:41
  And here they are cheering for you guys and wanting to meet you
• 14:45
  guys. And it was just that was a
• 14:48
  pretty, pretty cool moment. And like you said, they're never
• 14:51
  going to forget that that whole day.

  Just, you know, just imagine the highs and lows.

  I mean, you're you're just being a marking man picked to play in

  Main St. And I'm sure some of those kids

  you've got that whole can I get there, right?

  I mean, look at you what you had to go through to get Jay.

  Jay, I'm switching kids now, Jacob to to Tokyo, right.

  And the I'm sure that there are parents that, you know, were

  unsure if they were going to get their kids to March and play on

  Main Street. And so they were able to do that

  and all those kids are there and they're having a good time.

  And then they kind of decompress a little bit.

  And now they're all, you know, riled up because they're about
• 15:40
  to watch happily ever after and they see the streamer that
• 15:44
  they've been following all day long.

  It's just it, it was a really cool moment.

  It really was it. It'll go down as one of the

  greatest in the in our history. And I wanted to pan around to

  make sure that our community got to see that, too.

  So I like doing that to little kids.

  Kids are like blown away by YouTube Youtubers.

  I love it when they're like, are you famous?

  I go so much so. Much and there was wasn't that

  also the night where you said, I think you passed somebody and

  they were like, do you recognize?

  staring at you or something. So, so we'll say this, I want to

  just acknowledge Matt one T who was amazing in chat on

  I'm like, all right, I'll come out of retirement and I'll go do

  teacups, and then I'll go do haunted in the Haunted Mansion,

  Dumbo. And by that time she was done,

  she was already done eating and. And how was teacups?

  You know what, I'm back in action.

  I'll be doing teacups from now on.

  I did really well. Like you really have to be

  strong to stop that from spinning.

  I was perfectly fine. I'm just one of those, like I

  said, getting off it, I can do Velocicoaster, I can do all the

  coasters, I can, I just can't do a continuous spin right.

  And so I was able to kind of really limit that and have a

  little fun with it. So yeah, I'm glad I, I'm glad I

  jumped back on it. I had a really bad experience

  the last time someone spun me when I told him not to.

  And my, my eyes were definitely off for a little while.

  So, yeah, I had a bad experience when I maybe three years ago, I

  rolled over in bed from like left to right and just threw the

  crystals off in my ears and my eyes were rolling, rolling.

  It was bad. So yeah, I, I never forget that

  moment and I get that feeling a little bit when I speak too

  And then wouldn't you know, it was an hour and a half, 90

  Part of my plan failed because when Tammy met me and I handed

  walk underneath the castle. They were just closing that up.

  from, so went back from where I came from.

  So I ate AKC dog, ate the foot long.

  It was really good. It was pulled pork.

  It was great. That was great.

  That was great. It's been a long time and I was

  like, you know what, feeling like AKC dog.

  So it was nice. I had 10 minutes to my well,

  maybe 15 minutes to myself. I was facing the castle, ate it

  with a fork and a knife. Finished that up.
