- 0:02Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. All Right, Well, after taking
- 0:09Speaker 1: time to gather my thoughts here on the Lonelangup Network
- 0:12Speaker 1: about what's transpire between Israel and Iran, I want to
- 0:16Speaker 1: take a little bit of time to talk about this
- 0:19Speaker 1: conflict because I originally believe that, you know, Israel was
- 0:25Speaker 1: acting on its own. We didn't really support Israel. But
- 0:27Speaker 1: as facts have come out and things have been said,
- 0:31Speaker 1: it seems like yes, the US was supporting Israel, even
- 0:36Speaker 1: if not officially, but by providing the resources needed because
- 0:40Speaker 1: they knew this strike was going to happen. In other words,
- 0:43Speaker 1: I've come to the conclusion Israel did not act on
- 0:46Speaker 1: its own like say a Russia, who did act on
- 0:51Speaker 1: its own against Ukraine. By the way, I believe the
- 0:53Speaker 1: Iranian regime deserves to be wiped off the planet. The
- 0:57Speaker 1: country of Iran is made of good Iranian I mean,
- 1:00Speaker 1: there are good people in Iran that want to be
- 1:03Speaker 1: as free as you know, Israel wants to be from
- 1:06Speaker 1: the violence, from the threats of violence that the Iranian
- 1:10Speaker 1: government axon. And I have comfort knowing that the Israeli
- 1:20Speaker 1: government dig coordinate and consult with the US in one
- 1:24Speaker 1: way or the other. In fact, you could see that
- 1:26Speaker 1: when they were helping Israel stop the missiles. Also, did
- 1:29Speaker 1: anybody complain that Iran we're shooting missiles out of nowhere?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Last year? I mean, like, oh, this out of nowhere,
- 1:36Speaker 1: This is unbelievable. How surprising is it? Though? Israel Is
- 1:42Speaker 1: has been playing this for a while, and I think
- 1:44Speaker 1: they might have thought an attack was coming, and then
- 1:48Speaker 1: this earlier today the G seven summit, Donald Trump, President
- 1:52Speaker 1: Trump said this about the Israeli Iran conflict?
- 1:57Speaker 2: What have you heard?
- 1:58Speaker 1: What you heard from the Iran?
- 2:00Speaker 2: They'd like to talk, but they should have done that before.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I had sixty days and they had sixty days. And
- 2:07Speaker 2: on the sixty first day, we don't have a deal.
- 2:10Speaker 2: They have to make a deal, and it's painful for
- 2:13Speaker 2: both parties. But I'd say Iran is not winning this
- 2:17Speaker 2: war and they should talk, and they should talk immediately
- 2:21Speaker 2: before it's too late.
- 2:22Speaker 3: And what would you say, in your opinion, what would
- 2:24Speaker 3: it take for the US to get involved in this
- 2:26Speaker 3: conflict militarily.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about it, and you don't
- 2:31Speaker 1: think on day sixty one Israel felt they had the
- 2:34Speaker 1: green light to do what they did the other day now,
- 2:37Speaker 1: of course, I'm worried about Jewish Americans here because there
- 2:41Speaker 1: are rabid, rabid anti Israel folks who will tear down
- 2:45Speaker 1: any Jewish person despite the facts. And I pray that
- 2:52Speaker 1: the Jewish population is once again protected after these attacks
- 2:56Speaker 1: against Iran, because, for God's sake, we just saw two
- 3:01Speaker 1: embassy staffers, two embassy staffers for Israel shot to death
- 3:05Speaker 1: in cold blood. We don't want any more of that.
- 3:10Speaker 1: We don't need any more of that. So I'm going
- 3:12Speaker 1: to voice that concern here on the one le Up network.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But on day sixty one of them not coming to
- 3:18Speaker 1: the table and agreeing to a deal with the United States,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you don't think Israel felt they had the green light.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I think they did. And here's what also gives me
- 3:27Speaker 1: hope for Jewish Americans and Israel and really God's handedness.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Listen to this story of a hero Jewish firefighter who
- 3:42Speaker 1: happened to rescue a torah from one of the local
- 3:46Speaker 1: synagogue's fires this morning.
- 3:48Speaker 4: A Jewish firefighter and says he's no hero despite running
- 3:52Speaker 4: into a burning Long Island synagogue to rescue a sacred
- 3:56Speaker 4: Torus scroll from the flames as petrified, hungregants watched from
- 4:01Speaker 4: outside while praying for a miracle. That hero firefighter Michael
- 4:07Speaker 4: Farka joins us, Now, what an incredible story. And obviously
- 4:11Speaker 4: the picture of you after you rescued the torah has
- 4:16Speaker 4: sort of shot all the way all around the internet.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Tell us about that moment.
- 4:22Speaker 5: The moment of the picture was well into an operation,
- 4:25Speaker 5: and you know, we don't really think about it in moments,
- 4:28Speaker 5: but you wake up in the morning, you have a
- 4:30Speaker 5: cup of coffee, and the alarm goes off and you
- 4:32Speaker 5: just respond. You know, we get onto a scene and
- 4:37Speaker 5: you see heavy smoke coming from a building and all
- 4:41Speaker 5: you can think is, Okay, how are we going to
- 4:42Speaker 5: attack this. As part of the truck team, which is
- 4:46Speaker 5: second do truck on the scene, we were in charge
- 4:50Speaker 5: of access, opening doors, making sure we have ventilation ladders,
- 4:55Speaker 5: egress things like that. We attacking the fire on the
- 5:01Speaker 5: first floor from the outside and we make our way
- 5:04Speaker 5: inside to do some searches on the second floor. We
- 5:08Speaker 5: cleared out that first floor, which is really more of
- 5:10Speaker 5: an entryway, and into the lobby. Once all that was done,
- 5:14Speaker 5: i mean we're talking about a half hour into the operation.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Once that picture was taken and we went into the
- 5:19Speaker 5: basement and was instructed to take a door that was
- 5:21Speaker 5: locked because you need to search for fire, and that's
- 5:23Speaker 5: what we're doing. There were reports of fire in the area,
- 5:28Speaker 5: heavy smoke, and we had trouble taking that door at first.
- 5:33Speaker 5: But most people call me a little stubborn, and I
- 5:36Speaker 5: didn't want to give up on that door. There's really
- 5:38Speaker 5: no signage. We had no idea that there was a
- 5:40Speaker 5: synagogue inside. You know, this is a taxpayer building, seven
- 5:43Speaker 5: or eight stores that are there, and you know, we're
- 5:46Speaker 5: just going in. It's a beauty salon, a jewelry store.
- 5:48Speaker 5: We don't know what's going on in that basement.
- 5:51Speaker 1: J you immediately recognized at that point, once you got through
- 5:54Speaker 1: that door that this was a synagogue.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Absolutely, So this is great Orthodox community. You know, Ross
- 6:00Speaker 5: and Synagogue is you know, my temple, and you know
- 6:04Speaker 5: you recognize it right away. You see the pews, I
- 6:07Speaker 5: see the arc and my instinct really was just to
- 6:11Speaker 5: you know, open that arc seat there was a tora inside,
- 6:14Speaker 5: and sure enough it was, and you know, I kind
- 6:17Speaker 5: of clutched that grabbed that in and took it out.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Obviously incredibly meaningful for that community. Great heroism by you.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 6:24Speaker 5: For sharing your story with us, Michael, We really appreciate it.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Good to have a Jewish firefighter who knew exactly what
- 6:30Speaker 1: to do in that moment.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Awesome stuff.
- 6:32Speaker 5: Thank you, Thank you.
- 6:33Speaker 4: I went on Brian kill Me.
- 6:35Speaker 1: That was on Fox and Friends eight days ago. Pretty
- 6:37Speaker 1: miraculous moment. And thank God for that firefighter to save
- 6:43Speaker 1: that Torah. Now over the weekend we had a variety
- 6:46Speaker 1: of things happening. I want to first shout out this
- 6:50Speaker 1: moment in the military parade honoring twohundred fifty years I'm
- 6:55Speaker 1: the military on Flag Day June fourteenth, where President Trump
- 6:59Speaker 1: and did a new group into our United States Army
- 7:05Speaker 1: as a president first r nord the boarding for duty.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Sir, ready to commence the ceremony as.
- 7:10Speaker 3: Directed, I state your name, do solemnly swear that I
- 7:23Speaker 3: will support and defend the Constitution of the United States
- 7:29Speaker 3: of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That I
- 7:40Speaker 3: will bear true faith.
- 7:44Speaker 4: An allegiance to the same, and that.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I will obey the orders of the President of the
- 7:55Speaker 3: United States.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And the orders.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations, lessons,
- 8:10Speaker 3: and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God, Congratulations, congratulations,
- 8:24Speaker 3: welcome to the United States Army and have a great life.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Thank you very much, have a great life.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Now, I bet you didn't hear that anywhere else on
- 8:40Speaker 1: the mainstream media. That's why I want to play right
- 8:42Speaker 1: here on the Walling Up Network. And to wrap up today,
- 8:46Speaker 1: I have to say New York City exercise their First
- 8:51Speaker 1: Amendment right better than the West Coast. The East Coast
- 8:54Speaker 1: edited better than the West Coast this weekend. Because if
- 8:57Speaker 1: you were one of the many in the No King protests,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and whatever you feel about that protest, we do have
- 9:02Speaker 1: a right to exercise our voices if we're displeased. And
- 9:10Speaker 1: for those that felt it and felt called to protest
- 9:13Speaker 1: and did it peacefully, I commend you here on the
- 9:15Speaker 1: One Leg Up Network. You truly showed we have one
- 9:18Speaker 1: leg up over LA when it comes to peaceful protesting,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and god dang it, I want to have one leg
- 9:24Speaker 1: up over LA and everything, whether it's peaceful protesting or sports,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I want to have one leg up over them. It's time.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So maybe that's a good start to show how we
- 9:33Speaker 1: can peacefully voice our upset, our descent. And I say
- 9:42Speaker 1: our as a people, not personally, because you know, I
- 9:46Speaker 1: do think, I do think that the kings of today
- 9:51Speaker 1: are really the federal judges who have rule over the
- 9:54Speaker 1: whole land. How does one federal rogue ruling dictate what
- 9:58Speaker 1: goes on in the entire land. The no king's protests
- 10:01Speaker 1: should have really also been directed at the judges that
- 10:07Speaker 1: get to have say over the whole land. One judge,
- 10:10Speaker 1: one judge says everything for the land. That's not judicial,
- 10:15Speaker 1: that's dictatorial. If we're going to raid against those who
- 10:19Speaker 1: are violent illegals, let me clarify that violent illegals. We
- 10:25Speaker 1: need to get those people off the streets. And we
- 10:28Speaker 1: have an import Washington with the man who overstated his visa.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I have to say this, My heart is with smear
- 10:37Speaker 1: bagels this weekend because right in Port Washington's backyard Fernando
- 10:46Speaker 1: Mahea swept up and taken in by ice. And I
- 10:52Speaker 1: believe if you overstay a visa, you should be able
- 10:59Speaker 1: to wrect that and not be swept up in a
- 11:03Speaker 1: raid that is meant for violent illegals. I want to
- 11:05Speaker 1: believe that's many for violent illegals, not those who simply
- 11:09Speaker 1: overstay a visa while trying to make a better life.
- 11:15Speaker 1: But where I can sympathize with Fernando. It's not only
- 11:19Speaker 1: because we've met him personally, but we we also have
- 11:24Speaker 1: to have it where fees to become Americans are not
- 11:28Speaker 1: exorbitant but literally affordable. That's where we can make a
- 11:35Speaker 1: difference here. Instead of sweeping up and doing all the
- 11:38Speaker 1: dramatics and all the flair, just make it affordable, because
- 11:42Speaker 1: I believe Fernando here is a hard working, you know, immigrant,
- 11:48Speaker 1: and you might tag the word illegal on there, As
- 11:52Speaker 1: far as I'm gonna he's an immigrant that provides for
- 11:56Speaker 1: his family, is great in the community. And I hope
- 12:01Speaker 1: there's justice for Fernando, and I hope they can help
- 12:04Speaker 1: him rectify this situation. And you know, bureaucracy is so
- 12:09Speaker 1: crazy it could be a paperwork issue too, So I
- 12:13Speaker 1: hope that after all the theatrics are done, they can
- 12:18Speaker 1: help him get his affairs in order and that he
- 12:26Speaker 1: can easily remain here and be part of the Port
- 12:29Speaker 1: Washington community. And it's funny because I don't often say
- 12:38Speaker 1: those who overstay should stay, but this is a different
- 12:43Speaker 1: situation because when you know someone, it hits differently, and
- 12:53Speaker 1: I think we should help Fernando have one leg up
- 12:55Speaker 1: instead of trying to port him back because he's great
- 12:59Speaker 1: for the community, great for Shmeir, and the justice of
- 13:06Speaker 1: the world would be to have him back at Schmeir
- 13:08Speaker 1: as a store manager, because then that would show this
- 13:12Speaker 1: administration is only after the violent illegals, not those who
- 13:18Speaker 1: do commit a crime of a sort by overstaying, but
- 13:24Speaker 1: can easily fix it. They need to be helped, not harmed,
- 13:30Speaker 1: to have one leg up for their community.
