- 1:55Speaker 2: Is. I can't believe we actually are wearing sand blue.
- 1:56Speaker 2: That's pretty funny.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Oh my god. By the way, speaking of Ramona, I
- 1:59Speaker 1: don't know if you saw one of her stories this weekend,
- 2:02Speaker 1: but it was going everywhere and she was like, you
- 2:06Speaker 1: got you're not gonna bully this. I'm having the best
- 2:09Speaker 1: toy of my life. And you know what, you know
- 2:12Speaker 1: where I am New.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Jersey like she's like or something Geese.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It was like geese migrating the sound of her voice
- 2:22Speaker 1: or sound of her voice laughing.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, she I don't think I follow her.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I have to check, okay, it is so funny. And
- 2:31Speaker 1: other people are reposting it too, because they're like, Wow, Ramona,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you made it to New Jersey. Congratulations, And she just
- 2:38Speaker 1: like couldn't believe that she could be in New Jersey
- 2:40Speaker 1: and have the time of her life. Yeah, I know.
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm like, it's right there, go to rails. It's probably
- 2:48Speaker 1: a blast. Yeah, it's so funny. But we are talking
- 2:52Speaker 1: Jersey today, which I'm so excited about. And Stuart has
- 2:56Speaker 1: like an amazing Jersey connection because you know, obviously Stewart
- 3:00Speaker 1: is Irish, Paullie is Irish. And as it turns out,
- 3:03Speaker 1: and I didn't realize how you guys first met, how
- 3:06Speaker 1: you met Dolores and Poully please tell me and the listener.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So the first year we went to Bravacan when we
- 3:13Speaker 2: wrote the cookbook together, and we went to Bravacon and
- 3:15Speaker 2: we sold cookbooks and I snuck in seasonings to sell
- 3:18Speaker 2: as well, and it was so funny. You can't sell food.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I'm like, it's not food, it's like seasoning. So you
- 3:27Speaker 2: were opening up. Was that like Bravo Palooza? Like that
- 3:30Speaker 2: was that what it was called? Yeah?
- 3:31Speaker 1: It was like the Legends Ball for what Happens Live?
- 3:34Speaker 1: And I was doing like a tight ten of stand.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Up yeah for the audience to bow them up.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Amy had a plus one. I went along with her,
- 3:42Speaker 2: and you know, we were saying for the whole show
- 3:44Speaker 2: as well. And so I'm in the back bar and
- 3:47Speaker 2: I see Paulie and I'm like, hey, Pauli, my name
- 3:50Speaker 2: is Stuart. I you know, I'm I'm here with Amy Phillips,
- 3:53Speaker 2: like she's on stage. I was like, you know, I'm Irish,
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'm from Tipperary. And He's like, oh my god, like whatever.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And at the time I was dating Jeff Well at
- 4:00Speaker 2: that night, mentioned Jeff's name and stuff like that, and
- 4:03Speaker 2: I don't think he knew who he was, but Delores
- 4:05Speaker 2: probably did. But and then we hung out and just
- 4:09Speaker 2: had drinks at the bar, and then Brock was there,
- 4:14Speaker 2: so it was me, Brock and Pauline and we had
- 4:17Speaker 2: the time of her life. And then I followed Paulie
- 4:19Speaker 2: back you came off stage, and then we all kind
- 4:22Speaker 2: of went backstairs together and then I met Delores back
- 4:24Speaker 2: with Pauline. That's where we're all like coin signing in
- 4:26Speaker 2: the elevator or something, yes, and.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Like that little area. I thought that you the way
- 4:30Speaker 1: you two were getting along and Dolores too. I thought
- 4:35Speaker 1: you guys had known each other literally for years, because
- 4:38Speaker 1: you guys were getting along like like a house on fire,
- 4:41Speaker 1: like the house on fire and the Berkshires that burned down.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's how well you were getting along, you know. So
- 4:47Speaker 1: when I saw you in like the area, trying to
- 4:49Speaker 1: lead and stuff like that, I was like, Oh, this
- 4:50Speaker 1: is so fun. And then I didn't go out, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: that you ended up going out with them that night,
- 4:55Speaker 1: right or no?
- 4:56Speaker 2: I think so yeah for a bit, Yeah, maybe we
- 4:58Speaker 2: looked up for a bit and then yeah, I didn't
- 5:00Speaker 2: have a late night because we had Sunday as well.
- 5:02Speaker 2: We remember we had Sunday left to sell more books.
- 5:06Speaker 2: But yeah, that was kind of yeah, that's where I
- 5:08Speaker 2: met them, and then I believe, like I was like,
- 5:10Speaker 2: I think when I got back, I was like, oh,
- 5:12Speaker 2: I was like telling jeff I'm like, they're so funny,
- 5:14Speaker 2: like you have to have on the show and stuff
- 5:15Speaker 2: like that, and that's I think how they started going on.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Jeffy was live then from there on, from meeting them
- 5:20Speaker 2: at at Bravo Con, which was like funny. Yeah, I
- 5:23Speaker 2: was thinking about that connection to I was like, where
- 5:25Speaker 2: did I where did yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Wait, so but you still I mean, like you get
- 5:32Speaker 1: along and you talk to Paulie all the time, so
- 5:33Speaker 1: you all the time in New Jersey, right, you went
- 5:37Speaker 1: tell me this.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I went there and I cooked for like fifteen people,
- 5:43Speaker 2: and like I got off a red eye, and Paulie's like, oh,
- 5:44Speaker 2: so we'll go to Target. So like me, Paully getting
- 5:48Speaker 2: the rolls Royce. We go to Target. He's like, we
- 5:50Speaker 2: just need a few bits and pieces for the kitchen.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'm like okay, And so I'm like plates right, Like
- 5:55Speaker 2: obviously I can understand why you don't have like fifteen
- 5:56Speaker 2: or twenty plates.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Pieces, like yeah, okay for dying to make sure I
- 6:00Speaker 1: had everything, Yeah, got it? Okay.
- 6:02Speaker 2: We ended up like spending fifteen hundred dollars out of Target.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Oh that's so fun and it wasn't even your money.
- 6:07Speaker 1: That's the best time in my life.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Oh my god. I was like, get the cart follow me.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I said, I'm fucking tired. I need to get home
- 6:14Speaker 2: and I need start cooking for fifteen people. Then we go
- 6:17Speaker 2: to the store and he's like he just sees like
- 6:21Speaker 2: shiny things and he's hungry. So he's like, what about
- 6:24Speaker 2: I said, we're getting meat. We're getting fished. Lores like,
- 6:27Speaker 2: just do a side of salmon as well. I was like, well,
- 6:28Speaker 2: how many people reading salmon? Just one? I'm like, okay,
- 6:32Speaker 2: but a side of salmon feeds like seven people. Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 2: it's great. It's just good to have a lot of food,
- 6:37Speaker 2: you know. I'm like, okay. And then we got like
- 6:39Speaker 2: six sirline steaks. We had four hangar steaks. We had
- 6:42Speaker 2: a tomahawk. We had a side of salmon, we had
- 6:45Speaker 2: chicken breasts, we had stuffed what did we had toffed mushrooms,
- 6:50Speaker 2: we had I mean, Paudy just kept putting stuff in
- 6:54Speaker 2: the cart and I'm like, you.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Know, right, the more he's putting in the cart, the
- 6:58Speaker 1: more you're like, you have to cook this.
- 7:00Speaker 2: This is that's another forty minutes.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Great idea for a show, you know what I mean,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Like take stew along with you and bamboozle the hell
- 7:07Speaker 1: out of them for dinner. Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And it was like, you know, because I'd stayed with
- 7:11Speaker 2: them like a few weeks prior, and I was like,
- 7:14Speaker 2: I'll be back again. And I said, look, come back again.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I'll cook dinner like for three or four of us.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Whatever I would say Paulie, you're gonna have to get
- 7:21Speaker 2: on your phone, and I said, you're gonna have to
- 7:23Speaker 2: ask like twenty more people to come. I said, there's
- 7:26Speaker 2: so much food.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Oh wow, okay, I was asking people to come. My god, Okay,
- 7:32Speaker 1: that's sae.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It was insane. It was insane. I don't know how
- 7:38Speaker 2: I knocked it out in like three hours. I did,
- 7:41Speaker 2: I mean, and it was amazing. Wow. But then we
- 7:43Speaker 2: got home. Then Delores has this massive box of like
- 7:47Speaker 2: pastries and breads for like twenty five people, with checuterie
- 7:51Speaker 2: boards and Jesus, I'm like, oh.
- 7:53Speaker 1: My god, where did that come from?
- 7:57Speaker 2: I don't know. She just was like since she set to,
- 8:00Speaker 2: which was actually pretty funny, she says. She said, Paulie,
- 8:04Speaker 2: I need some money. Go down and get some flowers.
- 8:07Speaker 2: She wants out some flowers, but get back with like
- 8:10Speaker 2: Chica red.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And I love how no one tells anyone anything, you
- 8:16Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like every one feels anyway. They're
- 8:19Speaker 1: just like, all right, you know what I need? I
- 8:21Speaker 1: need bits and pieces turns out to be this whole thing.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You know what I need some flowers turns out to
- 8:25Speaker 1: this whole thing. I need a little bit of food
- 8:27Speaker 1: turns out to this whole thing. That's the Italian Jersey way.
- 8:30Speaker 1: You know, you you aim low and then you just
- 8:33Speaker 1: go for the you just swing for the fences.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Like I like, I was, like, it reminded me when
- 8:39Speaker 2: I did this show on Food Network Private Chests of
- 8:40Speaker 2: Beverly Hills, where you just get thrown into the ring,
- 8:44Speaker 2: and like I was like, am I being filmed? Because
- 8:47Speaker 2: this is like part right, Like I must have felt
- 8:50Speaker 2: like that. And then Paulie like picked up this like
- 8:54Speaker 2: too and said, oh, it's to'll be kind of nice.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Like for anappetizer, I said, we already have resulta bolts,
- 8:58Speaker 2: we already have crabcakes. I said, put the fucking tuna down.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Say so we're not getting too I said, if you want,
- 9:04Speaker 2: if you want tuna right now as a snack, get it.
- 9:06Speaker 2: But I said, I'm not cooking tuna tonight. I said,
- 9:09Speaker 2: so much food, Like no I did? He said, what
- 9:13Speaker 2: about stuff, papers, stuff stuffed bell peppers. I'm we're not
- 9:17Speaker 2: in the fucking nineties, Like.
- 9:19Speaker 1: No, oh, snap, guys, did you hear that? Oh shit,
- 9:25Speaker 1: somebody just slam bell stuffed bell peppers?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Oh but come on, it must be I don't know,
- 9:33Speaker 2: I haven't seen a stuffed bell pepper in a store
- 9:36Speaker 2: in I don't know. We learned how to make that
- 9:38Speaker 2: in home economics in like ninety eight.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Wow. Okay, any of you Costco at Costco? Mary, by
- 9:45Speaker 1: the way, who you know she works at She lives
- 9:47Speaker 1: in Santa Clarita works in at Costco, and she's a
- 9:50Speaker 1: friend of mine. She listens. But Costco Mary Osco, Mary,
- 9:55Speaker 1: please please sound off if they still have stuffed bell
- 9:59Speaker 1: peppers there that they sell, because then you just bring
- 10:01Speaker 1: them home and you put them in the oven. Now,
- 10:04Speaker 1: the last time I've gotten those, it has been a minute,
- 10:08Speaker 1: so it may have been like four years ago since
- 10:11Speaker 1: the last time I've bought him at Costco. I don't
- 10:14Speaker 1: think I've seen him since. So you and in fact,
- 10:17Speaker 1: and that's the truth. And Costco has their finger on
- 10:19Speaker 1: the pulse of food trends. Mm hm, Well I'm gonna
- 10:24Speaker 1: pause this for a second. Okay, so we uh, we
- 10:28Speaker 1: have a better connection now, So listen, let me ask
- 10:30Speaker 1: you this what is I know you've gotten this question
- 10:33Speaker 1: a lot because when we've gone on our like our
- 10:35Speaker 1: book tour and stuff, one of the Q and A
- 10:36Speaker 1: questions a lot of times people ask if what's the
- 10:39Speaker 1: trendiest food right now, like what's the hot dish or
- 10:44Speaker 1: app or you know, things like that, and I think,
- 10:48Speaker 1: like the charcooterie was obviously an answer that you've given
- 10:51Speaker 1: in the past, some of the other things that you've.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Said it was trending right now. I mean, yeah, what's
- 10:59Speaker 2: like I'm just seeing like like Caesar salad is getting
- 11:05Speaker 2: like I feel like a different spin now. And there
- 11:07Speaker 2: are people a lot I see a lot of them
- 11:09Speaker 2: restaurants like I don't want to say like baby jam,
- 11:12Speaker 2: but they are using kind of a lot of baby jam,
- 11:14Speaker 2: not like the big Romaine leaves anymore. And I also
- 11:16Speaker 2: see a lot of them are using end dives and dives.
- 11:20Speaker 2: It's really nice.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yes, yes, okay, my mom recently made an app who
- 11:26Speaker 1: Loves You by the way she says, hi, And I've
- 11:29Speaker 1: you know, just the actual like leaf itself and then putting,
- 11:34Speaker 1: uh some sort of pete or something in it.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah, okay.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Pata but something I don't remember what she put.
- 11:39Speaker 2: In it, like nuts, blue cheese.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like a blue cheese and then some
- 11:43Speaker 1: sort of sauce drizzle or whatever. But I was like ooh,
- 11:46Speaker 1: I remember having end dive like back in the day
- 11:48Speaker 1: at like a wedding, you know, when my first round
- 11:51Speaker 1: of friends were getting married. So that's like twenty years ago,
- 11:54Speaker 1: you know, so I feel like maybe that one's coming back.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You know.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I was.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. I was at a restaurant.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It was like French American, and on their entree was
- 12:08Speaker 1: a oh okay, a a croake madame love so I yes,
- 12:19Speaker 1: so croke Madame is like an open face sandwich. Tell
- 12:23Speaker 1: me if I get this right, Okay, he's dying lapping
- 12:27Speaker 1: at me right now.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Because they say croake Madame.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Croak Madame.
- 12:33Speaker 2: I know.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to be all official. Okay, it's an open
- 12:36Speaker 1: faced worthy Olympics and they're all eating croake. Madame's over
- 12:43Speaker 1: there right now, open face. They soak the but the
- 12:48Speaker 1: bread in like butter or whatever to make it super
- 12:53Speaker 1: incredibly tasting. It's toasted. But then on top of that
- 12:57Speaker 1: is preshudo like thin slices of shooto. Then the cheese
- 13:02Speaker 1: is thank you, I love you so much. And then
- 13:07Speaker 1: and oh an egg and an eggs egg open.
- 13:16Speaker 2: It should have a bechamel sauce and like topped with
- 13:18Speaker 2: an egg.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes sauce Okay, I'm not sure.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, it depends some paces due the sauce in the
- 13:28Speaker 2: dude radioficial with the sauce, it's like, which is insane
- 13:30Speaker 2: you have the sauce with it, Okay, it is still tasty.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Yeah, And it's just a beautiful side salad, oh my god.
- 13:36Speaker 1: And and so it just was like this was a
- 13:42Speaker 1: like a very upscale restaurant. So you're gonna you know,
- 13:46Speaker 1: I was surprised to see kind of like a sandwich
- 13:49Speaker 1: on their entree. So that's where it's a very elevated
- 13:53Speaker 1: elevated Yeah, So that to me seems like a very
- 13:57Speaker 1: trendy thing that maybe we're doing now in entrees. So okay, great,
- 14:04Speaker 1: any anything else you want to tell me about.
- 14:06Speaker 2: You to think anything else? There's nothing I'm trying to
- 14:09Speaker 2: think even on TikTok's or like what's like, I mean,
- 14:12Speaker 2: the cottage cheese thing is like everywhere now you.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Know what's the cottage cheese thing?
- 14:17Speaker 2: Like, you know, I think even I think it was
- 14:20Speaker 2: a Beth that he did it, like with the cheese,
- 14:22Speaker 2: you know, from the swamp chicken salad from the Hampton's
- 14:25Speaker 2: like whatever market she's like, I'm god, it's like so good.
- 14:28Speaker 2: It's like it's like a four hundred dollars and it's
- 14:30Speaker 2: like so, but they whipped goats cheese. So goat cheese
- 14:33Speaker 2: can be like in replacement of like mayo, but it's
- 14:36Speaker 2: like full of protein, it's really healthy all that kind
- 14:38Speaker 2: of stuff. So you can make a chicken salad with
- 14:40Speaker 2: whipped cottage cheese and it's like so good on like
- 14:43Speaker 2: a washer cracker. Oh, I've made it on my TikTok
- 14:47Speaker 2: or on my Instagram reels and stuff. You can find
- 14:49Speaker 2: it there. But yeah, it's just a really like healthier
- 14:52Speaker 2: version instead of you using mayonnaise, and people are using
- 14:55Speaker 2: it like everywhere.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Now, okay, a whipped cottage cheese. So do you buy
- 15:01Speaker 1: it whipped?
- 15:02Speaker 2: You There is a place, I think on the East
- 15:05Speaker 2: Coast you can buy it whipped, but here it's quite
- 15:08Speaker 2: hard to find.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Oh okay, So you just put in.
- 15:11Speaker 2: A few processor and you whip it yourself.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Okay, nice? Wow? All right, By the way, I love
- 15:16Speaker 1: your TikTok and your Instagram. I mean it's amazing. Chef
- 15:18Speaker 1: stew were Okay, if you got to get you guys
- 15:20Speaker 1: got to check it out. Obviously. I'm sure whoever's listening
- 15:22Speaker 1: already is following you. But you do a lot by
- 15:27Speaker 1: way of like cooking demos, and you have an amazing podcast.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Tell the folks about your pod.
- 15:33Speaker 2: My podcast is called Don't Let Us Do. Episodes come
- 15:36Speaker 2: out every Wednesday. This week we have actually Paul E.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Connell on Oh my God. Oh that will come out
- 15:42Speaker 2: Wednesday morning.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So that's amazing. You do a show every week.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Right, every week once a week, yeah, and you have
- 15:49Speaker 2: like different it's fun. Yeah, it's just you know, it
- 15:52Speaker 2: was like a thing where like it landed on my lap.
- 15:55Speaker 2: It was like like a fan of mine or something
- 15:57Speaker 2: like that reached out to his husband or her husband
- 16:00Speaker 2: was like, you should give him a show. He's really
- 16:02Speaker 2: funny when he's been on the radio and stuff like that.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And so Pat reached out to me. He's like, hey,
- 16:06Speaker 2: would you ever consider doing a podcast. I'm like, I said,
- 16:09Speaker 2: I actually have a title for one that I had
- 16:11Speaker 2: like a year ago. My friend Darren told me about this,
- 16:14Speaker 2: like he's like, if you did a podcast, it has
- 16:16Speaker 2: to be called Don'tnut it's too And I'm like, oh,
- 16:17Speaker 2: that's actually really funny. C Yeah, And so then it
- 16:20Speaker 2: kind of landed on my lap and I was like,
- 16:22Speaker 2: you know what, fuck it, I'm going to try it.
- 16:23Speaker 2: And so it's just fun. I love doing it now.
- 16:25Speaker 1: You're so great at it and it's really awesome because
- 16:28Speaker 1: you really get in and you get out. There's no lingering,
- 16:30Speaker 1: like you take care of business. It's like boom boom
- 16:32Speaker 1: boom boom boom out neppetizer. It is not like this,
- 16:37Speaker 1: this is like four courses or are we just really
- 16:39Speaker 1: you know? But let me ask you this, Are you
- 16:42Speaker 1: seeing anybody right now?
- 16:44Speaker 2: I'm not seeing anybody right now. I'm going on dates
- 16:46Speaker 2: here and there, but like no, it's no sparks. Okay,
- 16:49Speaker 2: sparks in the are yet.
- 16:50Speaker 1: No sparks happening? And let's see what else? What else?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Can I ask you? Did you go to that Palm
- 16:59Speaker 1: Springs tennis event thing again this year?
- 17:01Speaker 2: I did? I did? Right?
- 17:03Speaker 1: I want to do that with you. Maddie's getting older
- 17:05Speaker 1: and I'm feeling like maybe next year I.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Could do it. Yeah, we go like we go and
- 17:10Speaker 2: like a Friday Saturday. I think we do like two
- 17:12Speaker 2: days and you just do grounds passes, you can walk around,
- 17:15Speaker 2: you can go to Nobu. It's like so fun. It's funny.
- 17:17Speaker 2: A lot of us were there this year. It was
- 17:18Speaker 2: like I was there, Megan was there, Brandy and Juliu
- 17:20Speaker 2: were there, Heather mc donald was there. They were all
- 17:22Speaker 2: like there.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I know I would start with Thomas and his boyfriend
- 17:26Speaker 2: or he's married now, but yeah, yeah, there was like
- 17:29Speaker 2: a ton of us. Like Emily went like, you know,
- 17:31Speaker 2: I love it every year. It's like the most fun
- 17:34Speaker 2: thing to do.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Great, Okay, I definitely want to go next year if
- 17:37Speaker 1: I can, because I feel like, you know, I haven't
- 17:40Speaker 1: been able to like travel outside of like work necessarily.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I don't do that because I just like to prioritize,
- 17:46Speaker 1: you know, having Maddie and stuff like that. So but
- 17:48Speaker 1: now that she's like she turned sevens to she's seven,
- 17:51Speaker 1: oh yeah, so.
- 17:53Speaker 2: You know, I have a great time and they have
- 17:55Speaker 2: kids things there.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Oh I didn't. I'm not saying I was going to
- 17:57Speaker 1: bring her. I'm saying that I believe her here. I
- 18:00Speaker 1: would go now.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Okay, great, but yeah, great, great time. I love it.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Okay. So, by the way, this episode of Jersey was
- 18:10Speaker 1: so iconic for only for one reason that you're here today,
- 18:14Speaker 1: and that is that when Margaret was finding out about
- 18:18Speaker 1: the meeting that was going to be happening with the lawyer,
- 18:21Speaker 1: Teresa's lawyer, and she was like and Delores is like, look,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go. There's nothing, it's not gonna change anything.
- 18:28Speaker 1: And Margaret's like, I can't believe you're just gonna go.
- 18:30Speaker 1: You're just the goodness for this dinner. Just talk about me,
- 18:33Speaker 1: and Dolores is like, it's not a dinner and she's like,
- 18:35Speaker 1: no food, even more of a disgrace. Anyway.
- 18:41Speaker 2: It's so incredible. I know she was really giving that voice,
- 18:44Speaker 2: like really heavy last night. It's amazing. Did you watch that?
- 18:49Speaker 2: You know they showed the first seven minutes of next Weeks.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I watched the preview off it next week.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Okay, I just came out like.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Like ten minutes ago before we got on.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Okay, that's all right. You know, we'll shout that, we'll
- 19:03Speaker 1: shelt that, we'll talk about what happened this week. But
- 19:06Speaker 1: oh my god, do you know that at the end
- 19:08Speaker 1: of this episode when they were like the season finale
- 19:11Speaker 1: next week, I was like, you've got to be kidding me. Okay, Stuart,
- 19:16Speaker 1: hold on one second before we continue with Jersey. I
- 19:18Speaker 1: need to get into gorgeous California apperil because Jenny Caine
- 19:23Speaker 1: is a sponsor. It's a California brand, and you know,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I love gorgeous California. Where I cannot believe that I
- 19:30Speaker 1: get to do ads for Jenny Cain. I have to
- 19:33Speaker 1: tell you, I just went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It
- 19:36Speaker 1: is the dead of summer right now. Super hot in
- 19:38Speaker 1: Santa Clarita, but in Jackson Hole it's a little cooler.
- 19:42Speaker 1: You know, when you travel, you just want that like
- 19:45Speaker 1: amazing cozy, warm cardigan that you can throw on. You
- 19:48Speaker 1: can take off when you're hot, but you get the
- 19:50Speaker 1: plane gets cold. So anyway, the point of it is
- 19:53Speaker 1: is that I have the unbelievable cashmere cardigan. It's the
- 19:59Speaker 1: cocoon Ashmir cardigan, which I am beyond obsessed with. I'm
- 20:03Speaker 1: a true believer in the line of clothes that Jenny
- 20:07Speaker 1: Kaine has and this is a perfect testament of that.

- 20:30Speaker 1: in a museum and you should be posing. It's like
- 20:32Speaker 1: simple but just gorgeous. Also, I love that it's a
- 20:36Speaker 1: California brand. And you know, we are so female focused
- 20:40Speaker 1: on this podcast that I love celebrating female entrepreneurship. So

- 25:18Speaker 1: Let's get back to Jersey. I did not expect that.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I don't know where I was in my world of
- 25:24Speaker 1: thinking that this was going to go on for another
- 25:25Speaker 1: like four weeks.
- 25:26Speaker 2: But I know, and it's like summertime. At least we
- 25:29Speaker 2: have it, will see. But yeah, I know. I'm like,
- 25:34Speaker 2: so that's when the finale the dinner party, yes, or
- 25:38Speaker 2: she throws the picture or whatever?
- 25:40Speaker 1: Okay, who throws the picture?
- 25:45Speaker 2: Danielle attempts to throw a picture ass Jennayden Oh and
- 25:52Speaker 2: apparently the picture slips out of her hand and just
- 25:55Speaker 2: smashes over the table.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Oh but I.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Remember, So where did I read the No? I think
- 26:01Speaker 2: did the lower tell me that Laurus is? Like if
- 26:04Speaker 2: she had thrown it, that would have been blood like
- 26:08Speaker 2: if it actually connected like it would have been insane.
- 26:12Speaker 2: They believe that she dropped a big yeah because I think,
- 26:15Speaker 2: you know, it got really I think that he got really,
- 26:18Speaker 2: really heavy at that dinner party between those two. Yeah.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Okay, wow, Danielle'm very.
- 26:23Speaker 2: I think that's why there's no there's no.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Yeah, they can't.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Jenna is ailed to like a twit to push your buttons.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, she really is so. Apparently this morning on Serious
- 26:35Speaker 1: XM on Andy Cohen's show, somebody called in and asked
- 26:39Speaker 1: about Jersey, and Bravo and Cocktails put this up and
- 26:44Speaker 1: thank you for sending this to me. Bravo and Cocktails said,
- 26:47Speaker 1: listening to Andy Cohen Live right now, and Andy just said,
- 26:50Speaker 1: we're rebooting Real Housewives of New Jersey. There will be
- 26:54Speaker 1: all new faces. I don't think he has said it
- 26:57Speaker 1: like that previously. He said it to a caller live,
- 27:01Speaker 1: So this is shocking news that it's going to be
- 27:07Speaker 1: a reboot. But I yeah, I don't know.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I think I read some reels in the comments, like
- 27:14Speaker 2: someone was disagreeing with what they said, or like no,
- 27:16Speaker 2: he didn't say that. It wasn't like it was going
- 27:19Speaker 2: to be like a shake up. Maybe a few taken out,
- 27:21Speaker 2: so we need to figure that out, because I'm seeing
- 27:24Speaker 2: that in different places now, right, so I.
- 27:26Speaker 1: Start interpreting it a little different. That's great to hear,
- 27:29Speaker 1: because I don't think that there should be a reboot.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I think they should just get rid of Teresa and
- 27:34Speaker 1: Melissa and well, I mean I don't I don't really know.
- 27:39Speaker 1: But if if this whole thing happened with Danielle and
- 27:42Speaker 1: she threw a picture, then I would say you'd have
- 27:45Speaker 1: to let her go too.
- 27:47Speaker 2: I know. It's like I think that's why they probably
- 27:49Speaker 2: didn't have a reunion, like a proper reunion, because it
- 27:51Speaker 2: was just like they're going to kill each other.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, you know what I mean?
- 27:55Speaker 2: And like and then and then like all the blogs
- 27:58Speaker 2: and like the attorneys and the Bodie or whatever it is,
- 28:00Speaker 2: and like they're just like trying to read like destroy.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Can you just call each other a bitch and just
- 28:08Speaker 2: be done? You know what I mean? Right, Like it's
- 28:12Speaker 2: just got like like someone's going to die, do you
- 28:19Speaker 2: know what I mean? Like it's going it's going down
- 28:22Speaker 2: that like there's.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Going to be like a hit right there. And if
- 28:26Speaker 1: there's a hit, it'll happen in Jersey, you know, over
- 28:29Speaker 1: in as as Margaret said, you know, James J. Leonard's
- 28:33Speaker 1: office is over by the meth clinic in Atlantic City.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Oh my god, I almost fell off my chair. That
- 28:40Speaker 1: was so rough.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It's just like it's unbelievable. It's just the funniest thing. Oh.
- 28:48Speaker 2: I did actually ask Pauli on my podcast. I was like, hey,
- 28:50Speaker 2: can you tell me something? He's like what he's like?
- 28:52Speaker 2: I said, how many times a day does Delores call
- 28:54Speaker 2: you scumbag? He's like two or three of a He
- 29:02Speaker 2: didn't even realize that she had a recipe in our cookbook.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Oh my god, comeback, scallops.
- 29:08Speaker 2: I brought the I brought it with me and I
- 29:10Speaker 2: gave it to work Like this is like laughing her
- 29:13Speaker 2: ass off at your your blurbs funny.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Oh good, I'm so glad to hear that. So all right,
- 29:19Speaker 1: let's talk about this episode. We First of all, when
- 29:23Speaker 1: they started this episode and they did like a recap
- 29:26Speaker 1: of the following you know weeks, I noticed that they
- 29:30Speaker 1: showed the clip of Melissa saying to the Joe's are
- 29:34Speaker 1: you going to cut the tree down too? And now
- 29:37Speaker 1: I'm looking back thinking, oh, this tree is a metaphor
- 29:41Speaker 1: for tree. There's an old dead tree in Margaret's backyard
- 29:46Speaker 1: and Melissa and Melissa and Margaret want it cut down,
- 29:51Speaker 1: and are you going to cut the tree down? I mean,
- 29:54Speaker 1: I think there's something behind that. I didn't catch it.
- 29:58Speaker 1: That's a good catch, and they shouldn't want me. They
- 30:01Speaker 1: were going to be using a metaphor.
- 30:06Speaker 2: I'm going I tell you. I met her at at
- 30:09Speaker 2: Jill's Aaron's like that part of the dinner before her
- 30:12Speaker 2: event on the Saturday. She's like, my god, oh no, wait,
- 30:16Speaker 2: wait yeah because Pat yeah, Pat that said like, hey,
- 30:18Speaker 2: Stewart's gonna be at that dinner time, say hi to him.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Because Teresa is with her at media as well. So
- 30:24Speaker 2: she came home and said hi, we got a photograph
- 30:26Speaker 2: and stuff like that. She was nice.
- 30:27Speaker 1: She was you mean like podcast, Yes, oh you guys
- 30:31Speaker 1: have the same podcast network.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yes, Oh that's cool.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You know that. Oh my god, that's that's wild. You're
- 30:38Speaker 1: in the family, all right. So so we go to
- 30:43Speaker 1: Rachel and her family and it was really great and
- 30:46Speaker 1: so sweet to see her little girls and that one
- 30:49Speaker 1: little girl is doing so well after her beanie her
- 30:52Speaker 1: after her tongue tie surgery, and the older child who
- 30:58Speaker 1: was from John's previous marriage or relationship. Who that woman
- 31:04Speaker 1: went to prison and stuff like that. That the older
- 31:07Speaker 1: he seems so sweet and so nurturing of the little girls.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I mean, it was so like it really touched my
- 31:13Speaker 1: heart strings. I love seeing that and seeing her progress.
- 31:17Speaker 2: You love that family stuff. It really hits you, It
- 31:19Speaker 2: really hits you. I'm probably on my phone texting. I'm like,
- 31:21Speaker 2: wor it is a good ship.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I totally agree.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:23Speaker 1: No, I'm also like, let's get to the good stuff.
- 31:25Speaker 1: But we can't stay there too long. It was just
- 31:28Speaker 1: enough time, yeah, to keep it relatable and the family
- 31:32Speaker 1: stuff is great. But now we go over to Jen
- 31:35Speaker 1: and Bill, and then here Jen is just stirring it
- 31:37Speaker 1: up and she's like, yeah, Nate's a little bitch boy,
- 31:39Speaker 1: and like so she's calling him a bitch boy. And
- 31:42Speaker 1: then she's like, Danielle owes me an apology. She needs
- 31:46Speaker 1: to find kindness. And I'm like, you pushed her, Like
- 31:49Speaker 1: what you do?
- 31:53Speaker 2: She couldn't breathe.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but.
- 31:59Speaker 2: I know it's these p like You're like, I hit you,
- 32:01Speaker 2: but I wanted an apology?
- 32:02Speaker 1: What right? It's absolutely as nine backwards. It's unbelievable. So
- 32:07Speaker 1: then we go over to Margaret and Jenfessler and we
- 32:11Speaker 1: have the an iconic meeting, which I thought was great
- 32:14Speaker 1: over lunch and Margaret is fast. I was like, all right,
- 32:18Speaker 1: I gotta tell you this. So there's going to be
- 32:20Speaker 1: a meeting and it's basically about you. It's about I mean,
- 32:23Speaker 1: it's about Louis and his troubles, but you're going to
- 32:25Speaker 1: be brought into this and the lawyer is going to
- 32:26Speaker 1: be showing up and speaking to it. And Margaret loses
- 32:29Speaker 1: her ever loving mind and then she's like, I'm going
- 32:31Speaker 1: to I get to stop calling. I'm going to call
- 32:33Speaker 1: these people. Dolores, how are you going? And that I mean,
- 32:35Speaker 1: she's just like working, She just all she gets to
- 32:37Speaker 1: work and she tries to shut it down. But what's
- 32:40Speaker 1: wild was to see her go into action to control
- 32:44Speaker 1: the situation, like it's out of control. And so I
- 32:47Speaker 1: loved how she immediately called Dolores. Dolores was like, it's
- 32:51Speaker 1: not going to change anything because Dolores already knows what's
- 32:53Speaker 1: going to be said. So she's like, I have to
- 32:55Speaker 1: show you.
- 32:56Speaker 2: I phased my Yeah. She's just like I just need
- 32:58Speaker 2: to go and listen to hear them out exactly.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Right, and Margaret knows she that's her role she has
- 33:02Speaker 1: to play because she is in the middle. She's friends
- 33:06Speaker 1: with both of them, so she has to go. She's
- 33:08Speaker 1: got to show up. She has to stand by Teresa
- 33:11Speaker 1: and hear what the presentation, you know. So then she
- 33:17Speaker 1: calls Danielle, and Danielle is so funny because she's like,
- 33:20Speaker 1: you know, in confessional, She's like, I want the popcorn,
- 33:23Speaker 1: come on, tell me everything, you know, Like I was like, yes,
- 33:26Speaker 1: I mean, you can't deny this is going.
- 33:29Speaker 2: To be pretty. I love Danielle. I just like, just
- 33:31Speaker 2: like she's like rough and just like and she's like
- 33:34Speaker 2: deck you you know what I mean.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I just love that made for TV.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yeah, she really is.
- 33:39Speaker 1: So she stands by her things. She's like, I gotta go,
- 33:41Speaker 1: you know, I gotta I gotta show up. And then
- 33:43Speaker 1: Fessler really sees that this is going to be detrimental
- 33:48Speaker 1: to their friendship and sees that sees the situation in
- 33:51Speaker 1: a whole new light. And I was pretty shocked that
- 33:52Speaker 1: she turned around and was like, I hope you understand
- 33:55Speaker 1: this is not fair to Margaret. I won't be coming.
- 33:57Speaker 1: What did you think about Fessler like pulling out out
- 34:00Speaker 1: of the meeting.
- 34:00Speaker 2: I was very surprised. I think I thought she was
- 34:03Speaker 2: going to go because I just feel like she just
- 34:05Speaker 2: puts her she just puts her ship in the middle
- 34:07Speaker 2: of everything, like recently, she just you know what I mean,
- 34:09Speaker 2: She's put her foot in everything. And I'm like, oh
- 34:11Speaker 2: my god. So I was like, because Margaret was having
- 34:16Speaker 2: issues with her, even just talking to Teresa before at
- 34:18Speaker 2: that party I remember, and it was so she was like, Okay,
- 34:21Speaker 2: this is really going to cross the line if I go.
- 34:23Speaker 2: If I go, it's like it's there's no going back
- 34:27Speaker 2: if I.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Go, right because everyone would be going except for Melissa. Yeah,
- 34:33Speaker 1: so I think it was nice of Fessler to you know,
- 34:36Speaker 1: stand down. So that was good. And then uh so
- 34:42Speaker 1: then Tree tells her father in law about the meeting
- 34:45Speaker 1: and shares like the facts and stuff. She's like, I
- 34:47Speaker 1: just said she had the facts, and the father in
- 34:50Speaker 1: law is like, you know what, I always say, the
- 34:53Speaker 1: dirt rises to the top, And I'm like, does it
- 34:57Speaker 1: does it sings to the bottom?
- 34:59Speaker 2: Actually, oh my god. I just Dolores's face kind of
- 35:05Speaker 2: said it all in that when the words she was
- 35:07Speaker 2: talking and saying everything you can't see lawres going and
- 35:10Speaker 2: gone like you know what I mean. It's like we're
- 35:13Speaker 2: actually not learning anything.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Well, and Teresa is just like, yeah, that's what I
- 35:20Speaker 1: always say. There rises to the top, you know. It's like, guys,
- 35:24Speaker 1: it's the cream that rises to the top. I think
- 35:26Speaker 1: that's what he meant to say. But look, God love
- 35:28Speaker 1: him and I love the way he said it, and
- 35:29Speaker 1: I'm fine with it. If I was in the room,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I'd be like, you're right, it does.
- 35:33Speaker 2: I wanted to say this smember what they were doing,
- 35:34Speaker 2: like the podcast live and they're in the back room.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Teresa's in there. I want to heal you guys. They're
- 35:40Speaker 2: like heal, Like what did she say that I want
- 35:45Speaker 2: to hear? You's like, no, Teresa stopped. Some things cannot
- 35:48Speaker 2: be fixed. You look like shit, Like it goes from
- 35:54Speaker 2: zero to sixty and within seconds. It's amazing because I
- 35:59Speaker 2: think Teresa was like, you guys, it's like white because
- 36:02Speaker 2: they're wearing a fucking Namaste Bitches T shirt?
- 36:04Speaker 1: Like right, oh the transcend.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Like Kumbaya or what was the was it goom baya was?
- 36:11Speaker 1: Oh?
- 36:13Speaker 2: But what was in this episode?
- 36:14Speaker 1: Didn't they say yeah?
- 36:17Speaker 2: But they say goombay?
- 36:18Speaker 1: Oh that was the joke. Oh that makes so much
- 36:21Speaker 1: more sense. Yeah, that that's right, that's why Fessler was laughing. Oh,
- 36:26Speaker 1: that's really funny. That guy's night when they were doing
- 36:30Speaker 1: those like in that podcast studio and Louis I was like,
- 36:34Speaker 1: oh my god, this is so uncomfortable. Did you It's
- 36:37Speaker 1: too bad you didn't get past in that episode?
- 36:40Speaker 2: Remember what you comes on Joel we do my podcast.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I remember Pat comes on the screen and then he goes,
- 36:45Speaker 2: wait that was Pat in that episode. Oh my god,
- 36:48Speaker 2: no way, Yeah, that's funny. I forgot that too, and
- 36:53Speaker 2: he said it to me and I was like, oh
- 36:54Speaker 2: my god.
- 36:55Speaker 1: You are Yeah, that is so hilarious. I wonder what
- 36:59Speaker 1: Polly was thinking when Louis was like, all right, you guys,
- 37:02Speaker 1: we're gonna go bend here and we're gonna, you know,
- 37:05Speaker 1: open our hearts. We're gonna, you know, really live their spirits.
- 37:09Speaker 1: We're gonna wear these we're all gonna wear these t shirts,
- 37:11Speaker 1: and we're all gonna do our hair the same. We're
- 37:13Speaker 1: gonna brand each other and then we're gonna all get
- 37:16Speaker 1: the same tattoos. And then we're gonna tell each other,
- 37:18Speaker 1: you know how, We're gonna tell our wives and our
- 37:20Speaker 1: partners like how we feel from the bottom of our hearts.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And I'm like, oh my god, this is like turning
- 37:24Speaker 1: Coltish like.
- 37:25Speaker 2: It's so like and I even like saw Paulie's face
- 37:27Speaker 2: because this is something like someone like someone like Paulie
- 37:31Speaker 2: from Dublin, Ireland would be like, I'm not doing that.
- 37:33Speaker 2: I know.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I can't believe he actually did it. He was a
- 37:36Speaker 1: good believe.
- 37:37Speaker 2: And then I was like, with the way that we're saying,
- 37:39Speaker 2: I was like, wait, do they see do they see
- 37:41Speaker 2: these messages when when they pass away, like when.
- 37:45Speaker 1: When they kill each other in the realm. Yeah, that's right.
- 37:48Speaker 1: We'll play a montage with these nice little things that
- 37:50Speaker 1: they say about them when we're all doing r I P.
- 37:55Speaker 2: You know, Dolores, I love you and I see you later.
- 38:00Speaker 2: See his letter. See his letter.
- 38:04Speaker 1: I do think it was actually really cute. When Bill
- 38:08Speaker 1: got behind there, I was dying laughing out like he's
- 38:11Speaker 1: very sweet, Jenny, He's so sing song.
- 38:16Speaker 2: It was so he's like, we.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Should talk sometime. Oh my god, we should see each
- 38:22Speaker 1: other sometime. I think he's just together.
- 38:25Speaker 2: He's just hopped up on drugs all the time. I
- 38:27Speaker 2: feel like he's just always like kind of like, hey, guys,
- 38:29Speaker 2: I am so wondering.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Is he like the Mauricio of Jersey because he does
- 38:33Speaker 1: look stoned all the time. What's going on there? Is that?
- 38:36Speaker 1: What's happening allegedly?
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I don't know. I don't know. I
- 38:40Speaker 2: have no idea. I mean, he was at that party
- 38:41Speaker 2: of frid Night, but he was the same. He's just
- 38:43Speaker 2: nice and friendly. And Louise was actually pretty nice as well.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Louis yeah, was actually very sweet as well.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Yeah, oh I'm sure, Yeah, Oh I'm sure. I mean
- 38:54Speaker 1: here's a transcend. Hey you want to come on this
- 38:56Speaker 1: guy's street with me?
- 38:57Speaker 2: Yeah? You know, you know.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I It's just just so funny to me because he
- 39:03Speaker 1: gets into that self help.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Mode, you know.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's like that coach and he's been through
- 39:08Speaker 1: all of these workshops and he's done the work and
- 39:10Speaker 1: now he's like, you know, trying. So it was amazing
- 39:13Speaker 1: that those guys did it. And I loved that Louie's
- 39:16Speaker 1: father was in the room. He's like, yeah, that was nice.
- 39:19Speaker 1: He was like shaking his head like that was good.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I just love that guy. He's so cute. So so
- 39:25Speaker 1: they have the whole thing, and and and then when
- 39:27Speaker 1: Dolores finds out, she's like, you did a video? What
- 39:30Speaker 1: are we gonna see these? Like she was asking when
- 39:33Speaker 1: you were asking, like, well, why are you gonna fucking
- 39:35Speaker 1: show it to me?
- 39:37Speaker 2: It's amazing?
- 39:39Speaker 1: So all right, And then Gorga's Guy's Night Out with
- 39:45Speaker 1: Frank and Joe, Benino Fuda and Fessler Fuda when he
- 39:51Speaker 1: has an allergic reaction to the I guess the five
- 39:55Speaker 1: arrow shots? Do you can you speak to that? Like
- 39:59Speaker 1: what happened?
- 40:00Speaker 2: And now I don't know, like that just it was
- 40:02Speaker 2: a bone marrow shot? Is that what he had?
- 40:04Speaker 1: So they were doing, you know, like a loose shot
- 40:06Speaker 1: out of instead of that, they were pouring it down
- 40:09Speaker 1: the bone marrow, down the bone.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Well, what did he did? He say? What he was
- 40:14Speaker 2: allergic to?
- 40:15Speaker 1: He said? Because Joe's like, are you allergic to anything?
- 40:18Speaker 1: He's like, no, not that I know. I don't know,
- 40:20Speaker 1: I don't know. And then when the cut, when the
- 40:22Speaker 1: ambulance came and then the ems were like, oh, there's
- 40:25Speaker 1: something wrong with your lips. That's not normal. It's like no,
- 40:28Speaker 1: that was on his lips.
- 40:33Speaker 2: But yeah, it was like it was really like crazy,
- 40:35Speaker 2: I mean, how would they get this these like moments.
- 40:37Speaker 2: It's just insane to me.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Yeah, like what, like, is it possible that he his
- 40:43Speaker 1: broat was closing up from.
- 40:44Speaker 2: The alcohol from bone marrow, like.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Or the alcohol because he drank so much. I'm looking
- 40:52Speaker 1: up bone marrow in it, Like.
- 40:54Speaker 2: I don't know, was there a spice like I could
- 40:59Speaker 2: see her, like your throat clowing up? If it was
- 41:02Speaker 2: like I remember years ago. I remember I was like
- 41:05Speaker 2: cooking at a house and for some reason, I like
- 41:07Speaker 2: inhales cayenne pepper, and I literally might throat closed up
- 41:10Speaker 2: for like five minutes. I was like, oh my god,
- 41:11Speaker 2: I'm gonna die. No, I just did a really just
- 41:13Speaker 2: like calm down, sit down, and just like breathe through
- 41:16Speaker 2: my nose. Like I just eventually went away. But it
- 41:19Speaker 2: was like that never happened before.
- 41:23Speaker 1: But he also, like you said, but you know what,
- 41:24Speaker 1: you make a good point. It could have been something
- 41:26Speaker 1: he ate earlier.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Yeah, just we need to find that out. I need
- 41:33Speaker 2: to like, yeah, was Paulie there or.
- 41:36Speaker 1: No, No, Pollie was at the other guy's night. He
- 41:39Speaker 1: was at Louise guys night, got it. But yeah, So anyway,
- 41:43Speaker 1: that was crazy and I love that he was like
- 41:47Speaker 1: putting everything on the Italians. He's like, no, no, I'm fine,
- 41:50Speaker 1: I'm fine. My throat's closing up a little, but just
- 41:52Speaker 1: give me some vix. Italians believe in vix. And then
- 41:56Speaker 1: they come in with the oxygen. He's like, they're like,
- 41:58Speaker 1: you have low oxygen and he's like, no, I'm Italian.
- 42:01Speaker 1: We always have low oxygen. Like he's just acquitting everything,
- 42:05Speaker 1: aquating everything to being Italian.
- 42:07Speaker 2: It's amazing. He's like, I don't want to he don't
- 42:09Speaker 2: want the ambulance bill. I don't want a bill.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Right, No, you're so right about that. That's a really
- 42:13Speaker 1: good point. So all right, now we have this we
- 42:18Speaker 1: have the girls trip. When they get together and they're
- 42:23Speaker 1: talking about the Girl's trip and Dolores is like, yeah,
- 42:29Speaker 1: at the James Jane Leonard thinks. She's like, oh, yeah,
- 42:32Speaker 1: we're not we're not actually gonna go away the house
- 42:34Speaker 1: that we're going to burn to the ground.
- 42:36Speaker 3: And she's like, oh my god, that's an om and
- 42:40Speaker 3: Danielle is like an omen omen Jesus, I mean burned
- 42:48Speaker 3: to the ground, an electrical fire. That is so crazy,
- 42:50Speaker 3: and they are so lucky that no one was in
- 42:53Speaker 3: that house.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yeah, really, I mean, I mean that would have just
- 42:58Speaker 2: been the season. Fanatics just hope it to be that
- 43:03Speaker 2: new cast.
- 43:04Speaker 1: You know what, It's a good thing that they weren't
- 43:06Speaker 1: there when that electrical fire happened, because you know what
- 43:09Speaker 1: would be happening is like Tree would be like Margaret started.
- 43:12Speaker 2: That fire, I know she did.
- 43:15Speaker 1: And then Margaret would be like that it was so
- 43:17Speaker 1: was the Craighead, attorney from Atlantic City. He started that fire.
- 43:21Speaker 1: He had his goons over there. Like then it would
- 43:23Speaker 1: be like who started that fire?
- 43:25Speaker 2: You know who's Louis X.
- 43:27Speaker 1: It's Louis X.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 43:33Speaker 1: So anyway, so but so James J. Leonard, Now when
- 43:38Speaker 1: you're hearing what he's saying and he explains to them
- 43:41Speaker 1: there's someone in Louie's past he can't say X that
- 43:45Speaker 1: has been causing problems, problems for Teresa and Louis. And
- 43:49Speaker 1: this had started way before Louis and Teresa met and
- 43:54Speaker 1: the X is. Since twenty twenty one, this X has
- 43:57Speaker 1: been talking to Margaret and lou Louise subpoena Margaret to
- 44:01Speaker 1: come to court to ask to answer the questions whether
- 44:04Speaker 1: or not Margaret is in communication with the X and
- 44:08Speaker 1: Marge refuses the subpoena, and then Margaret told the X
- 44:15Speaker 1: that this is the allegation that Margaret told the X
- 44:18Speaker 1: that she was planning on exposing Louie and Teresa, And
- 44:22Speaker 1: with the information that the EX gave Margaret and Teresa's like,
- 44:26Speaker 1: she steps in. She's like, this is gonna blow your mind.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Louis not allowed to speak about the X and the
- 44:34Speaker 1: EX is not allowed to speak about him. So now
- 44:36Speaker 1: the AX is getting her information about Louis through Margaret,
- 44:43Speaker 1: and everyone's like cricket's like crickets.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Then it cuts to Laurs's face.
- 44:48Speaker 1: She's like, speak your truth, Speak your truth, you know what,
- 44:54Speaker 1: speak your truth.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Let's get some Cronus. Oh no, that's the next episode.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Sorry, let's get a met him. Croke madame, Yeah, Roke madame.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Those are really popular now. And then we get the
- 45:08Speaker 1: flashbacks of Margaret denying that she ever spoke to Louise's
- 45:12Speaker 1: ex about the allegations above Louis being abusive. So that's
- 45:16Speaker 1: what it was. She was always denying, denying, denying, So
- 45:20Speaker 1: now we're just left here with this information that you know,
- 45:25Speaker 1: Dolores does say in her confessional she's like, well you know,
- 45:29Speaker 1: Margaret always said she never was talking to the X,
- 45:31Speaker 1: so what are you gonna do?
- 45:32Speaker 2: But then you.
- 45:33Speaker 1: Also get the flashbacks of Danielle bringing up how Teresa
- 45:39Speaker 1: and Jen became friends with Margaret's ex friend Laura to
- 45:44Speaker 1: dig shit up on people. So that's why when Teresa's like,
- 45:47Speaker 1: this will blow your mind, and I'm going, you guys
- 45:49Speaker 1: do this to each other every year. I don't know
- 45:51Speaker 1: why this is mind blowing. This is what you all do.
- 45:54Speaker 1: This is why we have a show. So it was
- 45:56Speaker 1: the problem.
- 45:57Speaker 2: It's just like just the innocence of them. I'm like, yeah,
- 46:00Speaker 2: I can't believe they did that. Yeah, you just did
- 46:03Speaker 2: it last.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Week and are planning to do it in revenge. Yeah.
- 46:10Speaker 1: So to me it was a no. I mean back
- 46:14Speaker 1: when they plotted this out to bring in James to
- 46:17Speaker 1: do this, they maybe thought they had a great idea
- 46:20Speaker 1: to hear it from a lawyer, but it's stuff that
- 46:22Speaker 1: we already know now, you know, it's like yeah, because
- 46:26Speaker 1: it all came out in the press, so it's really hits.
- 46:29Speaker 1: It doesn't hit. And to see it not hitting with
- 46:31Speaker 1: the whole table is funny to me too, because they're like, yeah,
- 46:34Speaker 1: and so I thought.
- 46:35Speaker 2: This was going to be this big explosion, and it
- 46:37Speaker 2: was just like it was such.
- 46:39Speaker 1: A letter, right, And I'm sure that in some level,
- 46:43Speaker 1: like I know, I'm sure that Tree and Jen were
- 46:46Speaker 1: talking to Laura to get information and Margaret was probably
- 46:49Speaker 1: talking to the acts. Everybody does that, Like that's all
- 46:52Speaker 1: fair in love and war. So then what did you
- 46:55Speaker 1: think about the flower delivery from Margaret that was.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Waiting for you to get to it? Like I watched
- 47:03Speaker 2: that last night that some of my friend was like,
- 47:05Speaker 2: what did you think about the flowers? I'm like, wait,
- 47:08Speaker 2: there was flowers? And I was like, wait a minute,
- 47:10Speaker 2: did I go to the restroom when the flowers got delivered?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Like I totally forgot. I watched I rewatched it this
- 47:15Speaker 2: morning and I'm like, how did I miss this? It
- 47:17Speaker 2: was like it was the pinnacle part of the show.
- 47:21Speaker 2: And I was like, it's like and you were there.
- 47:25Speaker 2: It was like Teresa and James. Who's James? Is that
- 47:28Speaker 2: the attorney?
- 47:28Speaker 1: That's her lawyer?
- 47:29Speaker 2: Yeah, lawyer, Okay, okay, love love love love love love.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Oh my god. I'm like, this is what the shows
- 47:36Speaker 1: are all about. I mean, it's incredible, it's good stuff.
- 47:38Speaker 2: It's really refuse them, refuse.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Them, stick them up her ass. And they were funeral flowers.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I mean, the whole thing is just wow. And Danielle watched.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Flowers for a fucking bed for a funeral bed.
- 47:55Speaker 1: My god, they're so savage. I love it. That's what's
- 47:59Speaker 1: sad that this is all ending poorly, you know what
- 48:01Speaker 1: I mean. But I guess it's the end of an era.
- 48:04Speaker 2: It just break a lot of these shows that just
- 48:06Speaker 2: make a break for like just like you don't have
- 48:08Speaker 2: to pick up the cameras back up after two months,
- 48:10Speaker 2: like give them six months, Okay, you know it's yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:16Speaker 1: He wasn't how stressed he Stewart is. He's like, I'm exhausted.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I need to I really don't want it to go
- 48:21Speaker 2: away because I just started watching it like three seasons ago,
- 48:24Speaker 2: and I'm like really invested. Yeah, and because like I
- 48:26Speaker 2: know one or two of them, and it's like it's
- 48:28Speaker 2: extra fun when you know one or two of them.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's amazing.
- 48:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Well, Danielle loved it. She's like, this is the most
- 48:35Speaker 1: gangs to move I've ever seen my whole life. And
- 48:37Speaker 1: I was like, that's something I love that she gave
- 48:39Speaker 1: props to the whole situation.
- 48:42Speaker 2: It's a really good person.
- 48:44Speaker 1: I got to work on her.
- 48:46Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 48:47Speaker 1: And then and then we get the how we're all
- 48:49Speaker 1: going to go together, go away together, and then it's
- 48:51Speaker 1: burned to the ground. I mean, it's just you can't
- 48:53Speaker 1: write this stuff. It's so great, it's so good, and like,
- 48:58Speaker 1: Jersey's amazing, and I'm you know, we have to wait
- 49:01Speaker 1: till next week for the finale, and I'm gonna be
- 49:03Speaker 1: really sad.
- 49:04Speaker 2: And I get disappointed when people are like, you know,
- 49:05Speaker 2: Jersey wasn't not great this season. I'm like, oh my god,
- 49:07Speaker 2: what show were you watching? No, Like it's it was
- 49:10Speaker 2: brilliant this season.
- 49:11Speaker 1: I know, And this episode was incredible, Like everything is
- 49:14Speaker 1: great about it. This is what television is about when
- 49:16Speaker 1: it comes, you know. But I know it can only
- 49:19Speaker 1: go so far. And when you've got people like leaking
- 49:22Speaker 1: stuff to the bloggers and you have bloggers coming in
- 49:24Speaker 1: and these accounts.
- 49:25Speaker 2: In there sucked it up. Yeah, just stopped doing that.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Just let it play out naturally. You'll get the natural
- 49:31Speaker 2: drama that's just just always comes about.
- 49:34Speaker 1: That's right. And Teresa and Jen don't believe that, you know,
- 49:38Speaker 1: And then then when they do stuff, then it makes
- 49:40Speaker 1: other characters, I mean other cast members play dirty, and
- 49:44Speaker 1: then we have a whole situation. So wow, okay, uh oh,
- 49:51Speaker 1: what did you think about Joe Gorga pissing in the
- 49:53Speaker 1: bathroom with it when he was having an anaphylectic shock.
- 49:58Speaker 1: It was the longest thiss I've ever heard, too. I
- 50:01Speaker 1: was like, God, it's just a small guy, I think,
- 50:05Speaker 1: don't give a shit.
- 50:07Speaker 2: It's unbelievable.
- 50:08Speaker 1: So any other thoughts on Jersey and.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Like, I just really count wait for the finale next week,
- 50:15Speaker 2: and then like what the makeshift reunion that they watched.
- 50:18Speaker 2: I think they watched the last episode in like two
- 50:20Speaker 2: separate rooms, right or something like that.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Yeah, at Rails, I.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Didn't even ask Elors about it. I just like, I
- 50:25Speaker 2: think I'm about hanging out with them. I don't like
- 50:27Speaker 2: to ask them about it, you know what I mean,
- 50:28Speaker 2: because then it's like I don't want to know too
- 50:30Speaker 2: much either because I want to watch.
- 50:31Speaker 1: It play out absolutely, and you don't. I feel the
- 50:34Speaker 1: same way because I also don't want to have the
- 50:36Speaker 1: information if I get it, Yeah, and then I have
- 50:39Speaker 1: to tiptoe around it in my head when I'm talking
- 50:41Speaker 1: about it. It makes it very difficult. I've noticed in
- 50:43Speaker 1: the past, like you know, having knowing the secrets and
- 50:46Speaker 1: then not being able to authentically like talk about it
- 50:50Speaker 1: while you're hiding what you know. You know.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I love that you and Poty get along. Oh
- 50:57Speaker 1: what's the divorce about?
- 51:00Speaker 2: Do you?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Does he ever talk about the divorce the long divorce
- 51:03Speaker 1: with his ex wife and.
- 51:05Speaker 2: I don't, Like I think it's like, I think, what
- 51:06Speaker 2: did he say to me? He just was like, look,
- 51:09Speaker 2: it's a process. It will happen when it happens, and
- 51:11Speaker 2: I leave it at that, you know what I mean.
- 51:13Speaker 2: I just like, don't even kind of get into it,
- 51:15Speaker 2: you know. Yeah with him, I mean, look, he loves
- 51:17Speaker 2: her and stuff like that, Like he like, you know,
- 51:19Speaker 2: he's all in with her. Like people are like, oh,
- 51:21Speaker 2: like Dolores picks these guys and something. No, like he's
- 51:24Speaker 2: all in with her, like he fucking the doors her. Yeah. So,
- 51:26Speaker 2: like I wouldn't be worried about anything like that. I don't.
- 51:29Speaker 1: They've got a good relationship.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Yeah, they're fun. The tooth are a lot of fun together.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Yeah, they are really cute together on the show.
- 51:35Speaker 2: She's always like, she's like this. I swear to god
- 51:39Speaker 2: I was there. She's like, Paulie, can you turn on
- 51:41Speaker 2: the AC? I think it's just getting hot in here,
- 51:43Speaker 2: always theaat. Yeah, and I'm sitting there, I say, PAULI,
- 51:51Speaker 2: it's absolutely roasting in her.
- 51:54Speaker 1: Oh so does he not like it?
- 51:56Speaker 2: He likes it. So Me and Dolores like a cold
- 51:59Speaker 2: and he likes it just like I like a seventy two.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Oh God, I like I like cold.
- 52:04Speaker 1: You're like a sixty nine, like you go on your seventy. Yes,
- 52:07Speaker 1: Bratt would have it that way if it weren't for
- 52:09Speaker 1: me either. I'm cold. I'm more of a cold creature.
