- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast. Today it's
- 0:09Speaker 2: Freaky Friday and we have a special guest joining us.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's a Keem Molten. You guys know him from this
- 0:15Speaker 2: past season of Bachelor in Paradise and guess what big
- 0:18Speaker 2: news in his life? He has a girlfriend.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Yay, Monica is her name, right, Hakeem?
- 0:26Speaker 4: That is her name. Somebody likes me, guys, I'm good.
- 0:29Speaker 4: Somebody actually likes me. There's a there's a person for
- 0:32Speaker 4: everybody out there, So I'm the living testament to that.
- 0:35Speaker 2: How do you meet like you were the person we've
- 0:37Speaker 2: rooted for the hardest to find love because you're so
- 0:41Speaker 2: freaking entertaining.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Actually so honest. She's like, you're just so freaking entertaining.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I'm thinking, like, you're such a nice guy, you're handsome,
- 0:53Speaker 4: like you know, all the above, entertaining.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Big lies, a perfect reality star.
- 1:01Speaker 4: We met via hinge, but she's actually somebody from my past.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Like me and her dated in twenty twenty one to
- 1:08Speaker 4: twenty twenty three.
- 1:10Speaker 2: And then you found each other on a hinge and
- 1:12Speaker 2: you were like, oh, you know what we should date
- 1:14Speaker 2: again after the fact that you already dated for two years.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Yeah, so the first time we met on hinge. But
- 1:22Speaker 4: then she's yeah, it's a long story because we didn't
- 1:27Speaker 4: break up because of something was wrong with us. It
- 1:29Speaker 4: was more the family dynamic that she had at our
- 1:33Speaker 4: house wasn't very accepting of Hakem, which is, okay, everybody
- 1:37Speaker 4: has their I'm saying in the most nicest way.
- 1:39Speaker 3: Possible, Okay, well changed.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Well, Monica has totally just not I'm not saying that
- 1:48Speaker 4: she should do this or not, but she's kind of
- 1:51Speaker 4: just totally just they did like detached from her family
- 1:55Speaker 4: who kind of that way towards me in a sense.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Just there's just a lot of history behind it. Like
- 2:03Speaker 4: when I was hanging back from the bachelorette, her brother
- 2:05Speaker 4: like sent me like a text message saying stupid hard
- 2:09Speaker 4: er and it was just like yo, like, bro, I
- 2:12Speaker 4: haven't even seen you like a year, Like, like who
- 2:15Speaker 4: man's is this? You know what I mean? So but
- 2:17Speaker 4: we uh, it was It was actually funny because she
- 2:21Speaker 4: was working on my social media first, and you know,
- 2:24Speaker 4: we were totally platonic. We were just totally cool and
- 2:27Speaker 4: like we all just kind of kind of got back
- 2:31Speaker 4: together in a sense because of that text message that
- 2:34Speaker 4: was sent to me, because they were kind of hoping
- 2:36Speaker 4: to kind of rip us apart in a sense, but
- 2:38Speaker 4: it kind of just brought us together and kind of
- 2:40Speaker 4: exposed how her family was. And I'm sorry to make
- 2:44Speaker 4: this so serious.
- 2:47Speaker 3: No, we're gonna start talking about soft swinging soonce. So you.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Okay, so you need to make that advice better. But yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 4: long story shirt is that you know, we we recognized
- 2:58Speaker 4: that I'm not married her family. I know a lot
- 3:01Speaker 4: of people say, like, when you're marrying somebody, you're inheriting
- 3:03Speaker 4: the families and so forth. But I feel like I'm
- 3:06Speaker 4: very happy with her. She's an amazing woman, and I'm like,
- 3:09Speaker 4: let's try to figure this out and let's see if
- 3:10Speaker 4: this can actually work because my family loves her and
- 3:13Speaker 4: she indulges into Jamaican culture. So yeah, I'm very very appy.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Let's hope her family comes around to some point too.
- 3:21Speaker 3: We hope for that. Is that a good hope.
- 3:23Speaker 4: I think that's a good hope. But I think I
- 3:27Speaker 4: don't think it's I don't think saying things that way,
- 3:30Speaker 4: And I don't know if you can kind of turn
- 3:32Speaker 4: your make a one to eighty after you kind of
- 3:34Speaker 4: say those things that are not able to be taken back,
- 3:37Speaker 4: you know, Higgs. So it's just like it's hard. It's
- 3:39Speaker 4: truly hard because when you look at them, like, is
- 3:42Speaker 4: that how you always looked at me? Because I was
- 3:43Speaker 4: I thought I was good with them at one point
- 3:45Speaker 4: and then yeah, just a lot of things just spiraled.
- 3:48Speaker 4: But we're all Gucci now, man, we're all Gucci. I'm
- 3:52Speaker 4: trying to have an Ashley relationship. I'm trying to have
- 3:54Speaker 4: a happy family, happy marriage and all that good stuff.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Dude, well, it's amazing to hear that Hakeem has a girlfriend.
- 4:01Speaker 3: We also want to talk to you today about a
- 4:04Speaker 3: girl that all of us are excited about, Taylor Frankie Paul.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Taylor Frankie Paul is going to be the upcoming lead
- 4:11Speaker 3: of the Bachelorette. Every Friday, we do a Frankie Friday, Hakeem.
- 4:16Speaker 3: The reason for this is because so many listeners are
- 4:19Speaker 3: familiar with Taylor Frankie Paul. However, so many are not.
- 4:22Speaker 3: They haven't watched The Mormon Wives, they don't know this
- 4:24Speaker 3: whole storyline. So we're getting people educated on Taylor Frankie
- 4:29Speaker 3: Paul as her season of The Bachelrett is behind upon us.
- 4:33Speaker 3: You know Taylor, you've known her for a while. Did
- 4:35Speaker 3: you know her before like she blew up and became
- 4:39Speaker 3: a celebrity.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Not at all. So I'm actually just an acquaintance with Taylor.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I'm more closer with like Jesse Dakota is one of
- 4:48Speaker 4: my closest.
- 4:49Speaker 2: How good you're in the circle?
- 4:51Speaker 4: Oh? I mean yeah, I mean I called him before.
- 4:53Speaker 4: I called him before this, and I was like, is
- 4:55Speaker 4: anything off the table? Is anything mentioned? And He's like, dude,
- 4:58Speaker 4: you can mention anything you want.
- 5:00Speaker 2: So guys, you ask away, Okay, well how did you
- 5:03Speaker 2: first meet them? The crew?
- 5:06Speaker 4: So with the Secret Lives momiwise, they did a crossover
- 5:10Speaker 4: kind of thing on the mentel law of The Bachelor
- 5:16Speaker 4: season and then honestly, I was just watching their whole
- 5:20Speaker 4: entire trailer and I was just in awe and yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 4: and they basically just put a reaction camera to me
- 5:27Speaker 4: watching their trailer.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Remember that again.
- 5:31Speaker 4: They kind of just linked up after that, me and
- 5:33Speaker 4: Jesse to me at the time, Yeah, we all just
- 5:37Speaker 4: linked up. And then I went to the Halloween party
- 5:40Speaker 4: and I just kept in touch with them. You're just
- 5:42Speaker 4: all good people truthfully, l No, they live in Utah, Man,
- 5:46Speaker 4: they live in provo Orum. They're all really in there.
- 5:50Speaker 4: They really, they say they are for a for real.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I was gonna say that comment from Ben was really new.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Bet.
- 5:56Speaker 2: It's on Salt Lake?
- 5:57Speaker 4: Are they?
- 6:00Speaker 2: They all live in Salt Lake because they're all Mormon.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but you can be Mormon in La.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Of course, but like the whole show is about Salt Lake.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm learning. See, that's why we
- 6:11Speaker 3: do Franky Fridays is to learn as we go.
- 6:16Speaker 4: You right, okay, brother, you're right.
- 6:18Speaker 2: So you know them from as being TV stars basically,
- 6:22Speaker 2: So how did you get in the background of some
- 6:24Speaker 2: of these episodes?
- 6:26Speaker 4: Well, I don't know because I wasn't technically supposed to
- 6:30Speaker 4: be on their episodes because there was like a whole
- 6:31Speaker 4: thing that I wasn't supposed at the time. Warner wasn't
- 6:35Speaker 4: okay with me before it was a bachelorette, so like,
- 6:38Speaker 4: I wasn't even supposed to be on that. I was
- 6:39Speaker 4: surprised that I was even on there because I was
- 6:41Speaker 4: just going there to support my homies and the Halloween
- 6:44Speaker 4: party and party, to be honest with you, So.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah, with a bunch of we've uh yeah, goodness, gracious
- 6:51Speaker 3: nothing nothing loves you up for a social or or
- 6:54Speaker 3: actually like a diet coke di coke. Now, okay, I'm
- 6:58Speaker 3: gonna just because we can ask any thing, you go
- 7:01Speaker 3: for it. We have been extensive, not extensive, but we've
- 7:03Speaker 3: talked about the Mormon faith on this show before, in
- 7:07Speaker 3: the misconceptions and the stereotypes and the multiple different ways
- 7:11Speaker 3: that people know Mormonism. But the reason I'm asking this
- 7:17Speaker 3: question is because soft swinging is a part of their lives.
- 7:20Speaker 3: It is. I mean, it's what they kind of had
- 7:22Speaker 3: the scandal for. It's what they got blown up for. Hakeem,
- 7:25Speaker 3: have you ever or I don't even know how this
- 7:26Speaker 3: would work, but like, have you been asked to soft swing?
- 7:31Speaker 3: Is it like an open invite? I don't know how
- 7:33Speaker 3: that would work.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Okay, So let's let's let's let's pump the brakes. So
- 7:36Speaker 4: first things first, they they didn't even it's Miranda and Taylor.
- 7:41Speaker 4: It's not like Jesse and Jordie did it or like
- 7:45Speaker 4: a whole mom talk thing like it's just they had
- 7:50Speaker 4: that in their past. It's not like they're actively doing
- 7:53Speaker 4: this right now. Okay, one time they would go to
- 7:56Speaker 4: those parts it's on the it's on the episode. But
- 7:58Speaker 4: they would do like It's not like they were actually
- 8:01Speaker 4: like super like you know, intercourse swapping like switch road.
- 8:05Speaker 2: But I was going to tell him, wasn't it just oral?
- 8:08Speaker 4: I mean, I don't want to miss quote.
- 8:10Speaker 3: But the whole time I actually go like this, I.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Have no idea.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I felt really awkward that nobody had like picked up
- 8:21Speaker 2: on that.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Goodness, Actually.
- 8:27Speaker 4: You are funny?
- 8:28Speaker 3: Is I don't know? Gosh, all right, back to the conversation.
- 8:50Speaker 4: So so so basically, no, they don't swing, but at
- 8:55Speaker 4: that time period, they were doing some. Yeah, they were
- 9:00Speaker 4: just kind of have a fun in a sense, like
- 9:03Speaker 4: made out with her. Before I wouldn't say, what's it's
- 9:05Speaker 4: like a soft orgy if anything, like a very soft
- 9:09Speaker 4: not like orgy like oh like.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Everybody's doing it in front of each other.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not. It's not like that, because y'all making
- 9:16Speaker 4: it seem like this is pornhook. It is not like that.
- 9:19Speaker 3: You don't making it seem like anything. I'm asking questions
- 9:21Speaker 3: because I'm curious.
- 9:23Speaker 4: My boy Ben is out here, like are you swinging?
- 9:25Speaker 4: I mean no, I me, my white.
- 9:29Speaker 3: There's zero chance.
- 9:33Speaker 4: That is.
- 9:33Speaker 3: I mean, there's so much this that you know, I'm
- 9:36Speaker 3: curious about, because then they put obviously on network television,
- 9:39Speaker 3: and then Taylor becomes the Bachelorette, which opens up a
- 9:43Speaker 3: whole new world for people to try to understand. Uh,
- 9:46Speaker 3: and people like me who are oblivious to so much
- 9:50Speaker 3: of this side of their religion but also not knowledgeable
- 9:57Speaker 3: but fairly knowledgeable of like the faith side of their religion,
- 10:00Speaker 3: and I don't understand, I don't know the lifestyle side,
- 10:02Speaker 3: and so there's so much that I am learning along
- 10:05Speaker 3: the way and trying to wrap my head around. Ashley,
- 10:08Speaker 3: I think you could answer this question for me, Kee,
- 10:11Speaker 3: maybe you could. You know, there has been like conversations
- 10:14Speaker 3: recently within this friend group of like cheating, right, My
- 10:18Speaker 3: curiosity is, like, how do they determine when it's cheating?
- 10:22Speaker 3: If soft swinging was a thing.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I got you, I mean you want to go in there.
- 10:29Speaker 2: No, I don't got this. I've only watched through season one.
- 10:32Speaker 2: You got this tele us because they put a stop
- 10:35Speaker 2: to it all.
- 10:35Speaker 4: The most important thing to understand is that the swinging
- 10:38Speaker 4: has nothing to do with Mormonism. That's the thing you
- 10:41Speaker 4: need to I think that we need to separate because
- 10:43Speaker 4: the Mormon faith. Actually, they're very I mean they obviously
- 10:47Speaker 4: back in the day they were able to have multiple
- 10:50Speaker 4: wives and so forth. But it's not the thing that
- 10:52Speaker 4: they're doing now per se. I would say that was
- 10:54Speaker 4: more of just a stage in her life that she did.
- 10:58Speaker 4: It's not like she's I mean, I don't know what
- 11:00Speaker 4: she's doing right, but I'm not. I don't think she's
- 11:03Speaker 4: out here just swinging like oh if I have a boyfriend,
- 11:06Speaker 4: like yo, it's just it's open. We're all just kind
- 11:09Speaker 4: of going around want because think about it, right now,
- 11:12Speaker 4: if that was the case, Dakota and her would be together,
- 11:14Speaker 4: right they.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Exactly think about it, Yeah, because that would make things
- 11:17Speaker 2: easy for them because they seem to not be able
- 11:19Speaker 2: to quit each other.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, ultimately speaking, I think that stage
- 11:25Speaker 4: of her life was definitely the past. I don't think
- 11:27Speaker 4: that's something that she does anymore. I don't think that's
- 11:29Speaker 4: something that she brags about, and she doesn't hold that
- 11:32Speaker 4: as a badge of honor per se. You know what
- 11:33Speaker 4: I mean. It's kind of like how Kim K came
- 11:36Speaker 4: out with the ray J thing. It's not like she
- 11:38Speaker 4: knows that that's will blew her up. But she's not
- 11:40Speaker 4: gonna be like, yeah, you know, that's that's me.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Now, yeah, we have moved on significantly. So I want
- 11:50Speaker 2: to ask you, since your friends of Dakota, this is
- 11:53Speaker 2: really one I want to talk to you about. Is
- 11:55Speaker 2: like Dakota and how he's been dealing with the fact
- 11:58Speaker 2: that she's been the lead on the show where she's
- 12:00Speaker 2: supposed to find a husband and they share a child,
- 12:03Speaker 2: and I mean there may have been some rumors about
- 12:06Speaker 2: the fact that possibly they were hooking up still before
- 12:08Speaker 2: she left to film the show.
- 12:10Speaker 4: I mean, are you asking me a question or.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I mean I said a general general sense about how
- 12:15Speaker 2: he's doing and how he feels towards her.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Oh, I mean Dakota loves her. I mean I'm being
- 12:23Speaker 4: honest with you. I mean, like that's ultimately speaking. I
- 12:25Speaker 4: think he's in love with her, but I mean it's
- 12:27Speaker 4: it's tough. I mean, everyone looks at him as he's
- 12:29Speaker 4: done a terrible thing, which he has done. He did
- 12:32Speaker 4: a stupid ass thing. And I'll be the first part well,
- 12:36Speaker 4: I mean, then let's not even talk about that. Then right,
- 12:39Speaker 4: let's not even touch on that. Then that's fine. That's
- 12:41Speaker 4: not even touch on that then. But the fact is
- 12:43Speaker 4: that Dakota is doing well. I mean he's co parenting
- 12:47Speaker 4: with Taylor. He tries to do the best he can.
- 12:50Speaker 4: He loves you know, being a father to ever and
- 12:53Speaker 4: he will never do anything to compromise that. So I
- 12:56Speaker 4: think that's the most important thing. But just think about it.
- 12:59Speaker 4: I mean everyone is just kind of looking at him
- 13:01Speaker 4: as this bad person. He's not a bad person. He
- 13:04Speaker 4: does stupid ass things and I can tell you that,
- 13:06Speaker 4: but I think, uh, truthfully, I think there's no better
- 13:11Speaker 4: match than Taylor and Dakota. I know that's controversial. I
- 13:14Speaker 4: know everyone's gonna be like, there's no way, blase blah.
- 13:16Speaker 4: But like they both like are very similar in how
- 13:21Speaker 4: they react to things, like when the whole entire situation
- 13:25Speaker 4: happened within the season, that just came out, like he
- 13:28Speaker 4: went off the grid for like a month. I haven't,
- 13:30Speaker 4: like I didn't hear from him, like he just went
- 13:32Speaker 4: off the grid. Which goes into the fact is Taylor
- 13:36Speaker 4: literally just did that what she posted some of the
- 13:38Speaker 4: story like yeah, I'm pulling off the grid. They do
- 13:41Speaker 4: the same exact thing, but they're both so stubborn truthfully,
- 13:46Speaker 4: all they need to do couple's therapy and commit to
- 13:50Speaker 4: couples therapy that shit will work, truthfully.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Yeah, but we're saying all this in the midst of
- 13:56Speaker 3: her being the lead of the upcoming season of The
- 13:58Speaker 3: Bachelor're at.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I mean, I don't care respectfully, not no, no disrespect
- 14:03Speaker 4: to your to what you know, her being the lead
- 14:06Speaker 4: and all that. Not saying that disrespectfully to you as well, Ben,
- 14:09Speaker 4: But like, I don't really care because at the end
- 14:12Speaker 4: of the day, I think that they are the I
- 14:15Speaker 4: think they're meant to be together. I truly do, and
- 14:17Speaker 4: I think that they both have one goal in mind
- 14:20Speaker 4: is to be a good parent forever. So truthfully, I
- 14:24Speaker 4: think that's the only thing that comes to my mind.
- 14:27Speaker 4: And with the Bachelorette, like I want her to kill
- 14:30Speaker 4: it and I want her to find her man, But like,
- 14:33Speaker 4: I don't know if some of these men will have
- 14:35Speaker 4: ulterior motives with her, do you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
- 14:38Speaker 4: it's like I almost want them to have their own
- 14:40Speaker 4: Like they got to be proven multi millionaires before they
- 14:42Speaker 4: can come and try to talk to her. That's the
- 14:44Speaker 4: kind of way I feel about the whole situation, not
- 14:46Speaker 4: saying that Dakota is a multi millionaire and all that,
- 14:48Speaker 4: but I just know to ask she brings a lot
- 14:51Speaker 4: of influence with her that will make you to the
- 14:54Speaker 4: point that you can be a multi millionaire and be fortunate,
- 14:57Speaker 4: you know what I mean. So, like that's why I
- 14:59Speaker 4: feel this whole I don't know, I don't know, I
- 15:02Speaker 4: don't know.
- 15:03Speaker 2: You're giving us a lot here.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I know it's interesting. I mean, would you say
- 15:09Speaker 3: it this way if you're if you're a fan of
- 15:11Speaker 3: The Bachelor at yo keem, Yeah, your hope for her
- 15:15Speaker 3: would be to end up with Dakota at the end
- 15:17Speaker 3: of all this even would that Would that be a
- 15:19Speaker 3: fair way to say this?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I hope that she goes through the process and
- 15:24Speaker 4: I think she learn about like just just about the
- 15:28Speaker 4: dating scene as a whole, right, because I think she's
- 15:30Speaker 4: been with Dakota and yeah, right, she doesn't really hasn't
- 15:33Speaker 4: really test the waters. In my opinion. Maybe I could
- 15:35Speaker 4: be wrong, right, and she'll see like the grass eight
- 15:39Speaker 4: the green on the other side, though, you know, Like,
- 15:42Speaker 4: and I again I'm to say, like I'm holding the Cora.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I hold Dakota accountable to everything that he's done. And
- 15:48Speaker 4: all that, and he holds himself accountable too, and I
- 15:51Speaker 4: think he has learned from a lot of the stuff
- 15:54Speaker 4: that he's been through. And that's me telling you genuinely,
- 15:57Speaker 4: as if you know me, I stand on truth. I
- 16:00Speaker 4: will call bullshit out when it's there. But like, genuinely,
- 16:04Speaker 4: I think there's not a better person out there. And
- 16:06Speaker 4: it's nothing to do with the franchise because I'm rooting
- 16:09Speaker 4: for the Bachelorette. I'm rooting for her as well being
- 16:12Speaker 4: a great lead. But like if Jessica Simpson's on her,
- 16:15Speaker 4: hell yeah, let's go find her somebody else. You know
- 16:18Speaker 4: what I'm saying, Like, hell yeah, let's find her another
- 16:20Speaker 4: Nikola say, like you know what I mean, Like, I'm
- 16:22Speaker 4: cool with that, right, I'm cool with that. But with Taylor,
- 16:26Speaker 4: it's a whole different dynamic that we don't know. Like
- 16:30Speaker 4: there's so much to unpack with that, and there's not
- 16:33Speaker 4: enough time to unpack that during the time period that
- 16:36Speaker 4: you have on the Bachelorette, even when you're in Fantasy Suite.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I obviously I haven't been at Fantasy Suite's right, but
- 16:42Speaker 4: like it's still just not enough because she probably has
- 16:46Speaker 4: so much to unpack with somebody who she's going to
- 16:49Speaker 4: get involved with. And again I'm not saying I know
- 16:52Speaker 4: her like that. I'm an acquaintance. I've met her a
- 16:55Speaker 4: couple of times and so forth close with Dakota. So
- 16:59Speaker 4: I just want you to make sure you know, like,
- 17:00Speaker 4: I'm not speaking on behalf of her, but I'm speaking
- 17:03Speaker 4: on what I think that's clear.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Do you think the kiddo will show up to this season?
- 17:08Speaker 4: No showing up? No, he's not.
- 17:11Speaker 2: No, not for an appearance. Come on, gott to no. Oh,
- 17:17Speaker 2: apparently we have confirmation that he does not show up.
- 17:20Speaker 4: He said today.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Okay, okay, Well, my biggest takeaway is that you said
- 17:29Speaker 2: that he's in love with her and that you think
- 17:31Speaker 2: that they belong together. My interpretation of that is that
- 17:35Speaker 2: he was upset when she left to film the show
- 17:38Speaker 2: and that he's probably still going to involve himself in
- 17:42Speaker 2: her life beyond just being a co parent.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Well, I will I'll say this though, like he's he's
- 17:51Speaker 4: not upset or man like he was genuinely happy for because.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Like jealous or like like of course she would be jealous,
- 17:57Speaker 5: I would be us would be the more a way
- 18:01Speaker 5: of like damn, like she's going to be dating all
- 18:04Speaker 5: these men in front of my face.
- 18:08Speaker 4: All those things are going to be happen. She's gonna
- 18:09Speaker 4: see her get emotionally vulnerable with another man on TV
- 18:13Speaker 4: in front of your face. Imagine that.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Do you think he'll watch Why would he watch it?
- 18:18Speaker 4: I mean I'd watch it?
- 18:19Speaker 2: No way she would?
- 18:22Speaker 4: Are you kidding me? You would want to see what
- 18:24Speaker 4: she says if she doing the same things she did
- 18:27Speaker 4: to me today, I would. I know.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I couldn't help it. I'd have to know. Yeah, like
- 18:34Speaker 2: Jared doesn't even watch himself, so he wouldn't be able
- 18:36Speaker 2: to watch this. Yeah, let's go into the headlines because
- 18:50Speaker 2: a lot of them are very interesting and I can
- 18:53Speaker 2: interpret through what you've said how they might be playing out.
- 18:57Speaker 2: All right, So in lack Week's Franky Friday, we talked
- 19:01Speaker 2: about a twenty twenty five recap post that she posted
- 19:05Speaker 2: on Instagram like a week or so ago, and it
- 19:08Speaker 2: had very specific lyrics, and our producer did a really,
- 19:12Speaker 2: really deep dive on the internet to find who was
- 19:16Speaker 2: the singer writer of that song and it was you
- 19:20Speaker 2: listeners who came through and you pointed us in the
- 19:22Speaker 2: right direction. And if you do not want spoilers or
- 19:25Speaker 2: potential spoilers or any like real speculation. Don't listen to
- 19:29Speaker 2: this part, okay, I'm letting you press fast forward. So
- 19:35Speaker 2: we want to shout out to Shoshana Price and Brook Dean,
- 19:40Speaker 2: who messages Shoshana, said this just listen to Franky Friday.
- 19:44Speaker 2: I'm not sure if you will see this, but the
- 19:45Speaker 2: whole song post convo maybe a bigger clue and spoiler.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Then you realize if you go and listen to the
- 19:55Speaker 2: Call Her Daddy podcast with Taylor that she recorded before
- 19:59Speaker 2: she started filming. She said she was casually seeing a
- 20:01Speaker 2: musician and Alex's host asked if he'd show up to
- 20:06Speaker 2: the Bachelorette, and Taylor said, who knows. Now if you
- 20:12Speaker 2: think that that's already kind of spoiler and you don't
- 20:14Speaker 2: want to go any further into spoiler speculation than fast forward.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Now fast forward, fast forward. Okay, So now listener, Brook,
- 20:24Speaker 2: she said, does a video from Ben Lamb and he
- 20:29Speaker 2: wrote the song that you talk about in the podcast,
- 20:32Speaker 2: and this is who Taylor was dating before being on
- 20:36Speaker 2: the Bachelorette and it is the same song she used.
- 20:40Speaker 2: And she liked this video of the song that he
- 20:45Speaker 2: posted on his end. In the video, we see a
- 20:48Speaker 2: shot at a woman with long hair looking out of
- 20:51Speaker 2: a car window and a shot at the suitcase in
- 20:56Speaker 2: an airport. Those good stuff right here, in fact.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Is it good stuff? I don't like being spoiled, Yes.
- 21:06Speaker 2: It is. It's very telling she may end up with
- 21:09Speaker 2: some guys she already knew.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Here's what I like about what I'm hearing, though, Taylor
- 21:14Speaker 3: is what we're throwing it back. And I still say
- 21:18Speaker 3: this and I believe it. Taylor's season is going to
- 21:21Speaker 3: be a throwback season. It is going to be iconic
- 21:24Speaker 3: like the seasons that we remember in the past. Because
- 21:27Speaker 3: here's what I know of Taylor so far and from
- 21:29Speaker 3: this and everything else is I don't think she's going
- 21:31Speaker 3: to follow any rules. I think she's going to do
- 21:34Speaker 3: it her way. I think we're gonna get to know
- 21:36Speaker 3: Taylor from it. I think she's going to be incredible
- 21:39Speaker 3: at bringing out the emotion out of her cast members
- 21:41Speaker 3: and leaning in a little bit. That's something we've missed
- 21:45Speaker 3: for many years. And I believe that when we watch
- 21:48Speaker 3: Taylor Freaky Paul's season, we're going to see this and
- 21:50Speaker 3: at times feel awkward like that secondary awkwardness and I
- 21:56Speaker 3: miss that about the show.
- 21:57Speaker 4: No, I agree. I agree. I think it's going to
- 21:59Speaker 4: be legend. Truthfully, I think you think Blake will show
- 22:02Speaker 4: up Blake mooyne, Yes, I do you think he shows up?
- 22:06Speaker 2: He did not?
- 22:07Speaker 4: I do Blake if he shows up legend he doesn't.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Well, I don't really know, but I know that he's
- 22:14Speaker 2: not with her because I met a girl the other
- 22:16Speaker 2: day who he was dming on a on a dating app.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Doesn't mean he's not with her, Ashley.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Min Okay, So guys, the next post also, I mean
- 22:29Speaker 2: the next like headline, we have another fun little speculation.
- 22:34Speaker 2: We can do with it, Ben, you want to read it.
- 22:37Speaker 3: Well, we just talked about it earlier. I mean, Taylor
- 22:40Speaker 3: posts that she's going off the grid. We talked about
- 22:43Speaker 3: her reaction to life and to everything going on. It
- 22:48Speaker 3: does feel like from some of her posts recently, she's
- 22:50Speaker 3: a little like overwhelmed, which would make sense. This is
- 22:52Speaker 3: a whole new world. She's carrying two shows right now,
- 22:55Speaker 3: she's very well known in the United States of America.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Feels like it's getting to be a lot for her.
- 23:01Speaker 3: But on January eleven, Taylor posted on Instagram a shot
- 23:05Speaker 3: of an overstuffed bag in the backseat of a car
- 23:07Speaker 3: with a driver in the front. The text on the
- 23:09Speaker 3: screen reads, love going off the grid for a few
- 23:14Speaker 3: days to recharge. Hey, we can't get mad at her
- 23:17Speaker 3: for this. This is a smart, smart decision.
- 23:20Speaker 2: This is this is Ben, Come on, Ben, think about it.
- 23:23Speaker 2: She is she going off the grid or is she
- 23:26Speaker 2: going to a happy couple of weekend?
- 23:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a good point.
- 23:30Speaker 2: It's definitely a happy couple weekend because she's not gonna
- 23:32Speaker 2: be able to have her phone there.
- 23:34Speaker 4: No, wait, yes she will. Are you kidding me? She
- 23:37Speaker 4: headed throughout the whole entire filming of The Bachelorette.
- 23:39Speaker 2: Ben, do you have your phone during happy a couple
- 23:41Speaker 2: of weekends?
- 23:42Speaker 3: They took it from us.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Yeah, but you're not Taylor. Respectfully, I'm sorry, but you're
- 23:46Speaker 4: not Taylor. Frankie Paul, I'm obviously not.
- 23:49Speaker 3: No, there's a zero chance out there. She got to
- 23:51Speaker 3: do a lot of fun stuff during her season, including
- 23:54Speaker 3: like private jets and Instagram posts. And yes, I was not.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Saying I'm telling you her phones definitely in happy couples.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Maybe it's a personal choice, though it could be like, hey,
- 24:06Speaker 3: I want to focus on being at the happy couple.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't want my phone, I want the distractions. I
- 24:11Speaker 3: don't want to call me. It could be just more
- 24:14Speaker 3: of a personal choice for her to say no, take
- 24:16Speaker 3: it from me, because I will say. The one thing
- 24:18Speaker 3: Taylor did not get so many other leads, every other
- 24:21Speaker 3: lead has gotten, is that three months away from technology
- 24:26Speaker 3: that I tell you, what is something I missed dearly?
- 24:29Speaker 3: It's yeah, missed it. I miss not I miss not
- 24:33Speaker 3: being forced to not have my phone like where everybody
- 24:37Speaker 3: knew I was at.
- 24:38Speaker 2: I did too. I do too at times. But I
- 24:40Speaker 2: also like being in the safe quarters of being like
- 24:43Speaker 2: on a set and not having my phone and knowing
- 24:45Speaker 2: that if a phone is nearby if needed, and a
- 24:50Speaker 2: medical team is also nearby. Okay, so I'm not like
- 24:54Speaker 2: trying to go in the middle of like any any
- 24:57Speaker 2: location without a phone near facts though, Okay, do you, Hikim,
- 25:03Speaker 2: have any insight from Dakota as far as like you
- 25:09Speaker 2: know this guy that she was dating beforehand?
- 25:14Speaker 4: I mean, very minimal, But it's gonna be more biased
- 25:17Speaker 4: because it's gonna be biased.
- 25:19Speaker 2: What's the bias? I don't know much I know, but
- 25:24Speaker 2: what's the bias? Like you didn't you thought he was kind.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Of I don't even know she had a boyfriend beforehand, right,
- 25:28Speaker 4: that's something that needs confirmation. She actually had a boyfriend.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Not a real boyfriend, somebody she was dating.
- 25:34Speaker 3: She was honest about you.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Could have been exactly. But yeah, I mean, I don't
- 25:38Speaker 4: know much about him. I just know like it was
- 25:40Speaker 4: very uh yeah, it was very low key truthful. It
- 25:44Speaker 4: was just very low key.
- 25:46Speaker 3: It's very casual. Yea very casual. All right. We have
- 25:50Speaker 3: just a few more headlines here for you, Hiquem to
- 25:52Speaker 3: break down with us. Really, the most interesting one is
- 25:57Speaker 3: that Kelsey Anderson, who is engaged to Bachelor Joey, has
- 26:02Speaker 3: commented recently on Taylor Frankie Paul's Bachelor at season. I
- 26:06Speaker 3: think is a very wise take from Kelsey. Kelsey said
- 26:11Speaker 3: that it's gonna she believes it or remind her very
- 26:13Speaker 3: much of Hannah Brown's season and the drama that ensued
- 26:16Speaker 3: because of Hannah Brown being who she is, a big personality,
- 26:21Speaker 3: really not willing wanting to follow the Bachelor's rules, which
- 26:25Speaker 3: I think is a big deal and really great for TV.
- 26:29Speaker 3: But she also is wishing Taylor Frankie Paul the best
- 26:34Speaker 3: from this experience, unless she hopes that she can find
- 26:36Speaker 3: somebody hakeem if you were to break down kind of
- 26:43Speaker 3: in a similar breath at Kelsey, just did what you
- 26:46Speaker 3: think this season will be? Like, how would you describe it?
- 26:50Speaker 4: I think the reason why we can't really grasp it
- 26:53Speaker 4: truthfully is because she's the most unpredictable human being in
- 26:58Speaker 4: the world. She's literally the most un hilarious. She's literally
- 27:05Speaker 4: so unpredictable, and I feel like that's why. And she's
- 27:08Speaker 4: just so open and honest about every and anything when
- 27:12Speaker 4: it comes out to me like she'll tell you yeah,
- 27:13Speaker 4: I was thinking, yeah, I don't give about this. Whole
- 27:16Speaker 4: life is already out there on the screen, right, So
- 27:18Speaker 4: it's kind of like I'm worried more for the guys
- 27:22Speaker 4: if they don't go around and find out they're gonna
- 27:24Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, because like on ours, if
- 27:26Speaker 4: if anything from my season happens on Taylor season, it's
- 27:31Speaker 4: a fucking rat. Let me tell you that right now.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Do you imagine she gonna turn the fuck up? She's
- 27:37Speaker 4: a crash out. So that's the part that I'm trying
- 27:40Speaker 4: to like figure out, like if she gonna be crashing
- 27:42Speaker 4: out type of thing or is she going to be
- 27:44Speaker 4: putting them up in their place or guys gonna be
- 27:47Speaker 4: trying to do stupid Like, there's just so many things
- 27:49Speaker 4: that could possibly happen on this journey. That's what I'm
- 27:52Speaker 4: thinking about. But the epicness, if that's a word, it's
- 27:56Speaker 4: absolutely gonna be on the velocity of Hannah Brown season
- 27:59Speaker 4: and how she picked off the podium and she.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Was like, yeah, so why it's just so smart that Yeah.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I mean, I think I think all the above everything
- 28:07Speaker 3: you said, I think will happen, and I think the
- 28:09Speaker 3: show is made for that to happen. There's there's so
- 28:14Speaker 3: many moments during a bachelorette it's experience where those things
- 28:20Speaker 3: can happen. Right early on, we're gonna get the villain, obviously,
- 28:22Speaker 3: she's gonna try to She's going to try to find
- 28:25Speaker 3: out who the villain is. And when she does that
- 28:27Speaker 3: villain's gonna come up with a roar and she's going
- 28:30Speaker 3: to place that person down and get them out of there.
- 28:33Speaker 4: Or will she like the villain? Higgs? Will she like
- 28:36Speaker 4: the villain?
- 28:37Speaker 3: I hope not. That would be really spress.
- 28:39Speaker 4: But you have no clue because at the same time,
- 28:42Speaker 4: you could see her liking somebody who's super alpha, who's
- 28:45Speaker 4: not scared of her, and this, this and that. So
- 28:48Speaker 4: she might like the bad dude, the bad guy, right,
- 28:50Speaker 4: or she doesn't. She's less just beyond right. Dakota not
- 28:54Speaker 4: the most altful when it come down to her, right,
- 28:56Speaker 4: she she pretty alful, Right, Dakota's alpha, but she out
- 29:00Speaker 4: full right, she right, So she's looking for a man.
- 29:05Speaker 3: If she's in the dog park, she's the one taking
- 29:07Speaker 3: Dakota down.
- 29:08Speaker 4: No, we're not doing that.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I thought it was good.
- 29:14Speaker 2: A strong personality, is what he was trying to say,
- 29:16Speaker 2: even though some may recommend that somebody with such a
- 29:20Speaker 2: big personality should maybe pair up with somebody who's a
- 29:22Speaker 2: little lesser then.
- 29:23Speaker 4: But yes, I pray she doesn't pair up with a
- 29:26Speaker 4: Mormon though, that just for like, come home girl, you
- 29:28Speaker 4: know what I mean, you can get that in your backyard.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Why why are you gonna do that? I hope she gets
- 29:31Speaker 4: somebody from like Chicago or like Miami, New York.
- 29:37Speaker 2: She has kids that must stay in Salt Lake. Though,
- 29:41Speaker 2: I got it.
- 29:42Speaker 3: I got you.
- 29:43Speaker 4: But I think there's a compromises that could be happening.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Right halfway happy, halfway happy. Final headline is this a key?
- 29:50Speaker 3: I want you to to comment on this when I
- 29:54Speaker 3: am older than you, but I'm assuming it was about
- 29:57Speaker 3: the same age and you knew of Jessica Simpson.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Jessica Simpson was he already made comments about this.
- 30:03Speaker 3: She blew was blowing up when I was like in
- 30:06Speaker 3: that phase of life where you know.
- 30:09Speaker 2: When he was going through puberty.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Yeah, when he.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Was when he was a freshman in high school. That
- 30:16Speaker 2: Jessica Simpson nicolsche era was specifically really intense when I
- 30:21Speaker 2: was a freshman and sophomore in high school. And I'm
- 30:24Speaker 2: still to this day one of the best reality programs
- 30:27Speaker 2: we've ever had, actually probably the most reality reality of
- 30:32Speaker 2: any follow us.
- 30:33Speaker 3: So good, it was so good. You're not single, but
- 30:37Speaker 3: you have buddies who are single. If Jessica Simpson becomes
- 30:40Speaker 3: the Bachelorette, there's rumors out there that she's being kind
- 30:43Speaker 3: of courted to be the next Bachelorette that came out
- 30:45Speaker 3: this week. Would would your buddies your age be down
- 30:51Speaker 3: to go on that show and try to swoon her?
- 30:54Speaker 4: No question?
- 30:55Speaker 3: Now I agree, I think my I have so many
- 30:57Speaker 3: single buddies that'd be like, sign me up.
- 30:59Speaker 4: No question. I can tell you right now, you Ashley,
- 31:02Speaker 4: you know Brandon Jones, Brandon Jones, you signed him up,
- 31:05Speaker 4: he would absolutely beyond there for sure. Jessica Simpson. Jessica
- 31:10Speaker 4: Simpson was like ten out of ten back in Today,
- 31:12Speaker 4: which was Dave Nick Lachet.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Guys, I think that this would be the most fantastic
- 31:17Speaker 2: thing in the entire world because it's like the best,
- 31:20Speaker 2: the most classic Drake dating show, you know, best in
- 31:23Speaker 2: my opinion, but classic dating show the Bachelor meets the
- 31:26Speaker 2: best reality TV program I've ever seen?
- 31:28Speaker 3: Am I gonna get in trouble if I say there's
- 31:30Speaker 3: only one way to go though, if Jessica Simpson becomes
- 31:33Speaker 3: the Bachelorette, and that's to have Britney Spears follower.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Yeah, Brittany, it does not like the public eye anymore.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean there's only one way to go, right,
- 31:44Speaker 3: Just bring back that era and early rock all of
- 31:47Speaker 3: our worlds, like do. Jessica Simpson convinced Brittany that, hey,
- 31:52Speaker 3: you know what, we got some guys here for you.
- 31:54Speaker 2: Well, guys, we have a quote from Jessica.
- 31:57Speaker 4: Can I say one more thing?
- 31:58Speaker 5: Yes, yes, yes, only sixteen class that you guys had
- 32:02Speaker 5: whole Yeah, he's.
- 32:05Speaker 2: A really fad right here.
- 32:07Speaker 3: I was a lucky guy on the show.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Had an eight pack, and I'm.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Like, bro, Bro, I left went fast. Bro.
- 32:16Speaker 4: Everybody had six packs on the beach. It was only
- 32:18Speaker 4: one person that, respectfully, there was only one person I
- 32:22Speaker 4: feel I would feel bad for. I'm like, damn, man,
- 32:23Speaker 4: how did you? How was your ego walking on the
- 32:25Speaker 4: beach with these guys? You know what I mean?
- 32:28Speaker 3: Like Jesus, you're talking about Vinnie.
- 32:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't say his name. I didn't say his name.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Stop it. I didn't say his name. You ain't. You ain't, Bro?
- 32:39Speaker 3: No, I know it's wild Ashley. What's the car?
- 32:44Speaker 2: Let's do the Okay, obviously this is we We put
- 32:47Speaker 2: this in Frenky Friday, even though it's obviously not a
- 32:49Speaker 2: Frankie related story. But here we go. Jessica Simpson, when
- 32:53Speaker 2: asked by TMZ how she feels about these rumors, she says,
- 32:57Speaker 2: I have options. I'm good and in response to the
- 33:01Speaker 2: huge ratings Jessica's appearance would bring on the show as
- 33:05Speaker 2: people have been talking about, she says, I don't care
- 33:09Speaker 2: about that. She also said she thinks that she's into
- 33:13Speaker 2: younger men at the moment, and I feel like younger
- 33:15Speaker 2: guys kind of have the confidence that like an older
- 33:19Speaker 2: woman would need.
- 33:20Speaker 4: That's good for her.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Yeah, for her. I'm glad, Jessica. I'm happy. It's nice
- 33:25Speaker 3: to know Jessica's happy. Oh Keem, thanks for coming on today.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Thanks to you for giving us the insights into what
- 33:35Speaker 3: we can expect with the season. This will be as
- 33:40Speaker 3: we've talked about, an unexpected season full of twists and turns.
- 33:45Speaker 3: And we'll continue to come here on the Almost Famous
