- 0:03Speaker 1: Enough is enough.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I don't have my s Serier suck and we hold
- 0:08Speaker 2: the world ranchom for.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Excuse me while I whip this out.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia. This this is the Sports
- 0:20Speaker 1: Shock Show with Wayne Candy.
- 0:23Speaker 4: You may Vegan.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Show come so far? Comes a?
- 0:33Speaker 4: Is it just I'm a doing?
- 0:39Speaker 5: I'm gonna go on the way you made Bill Vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, welcome.
- 0:47Speaker 6: I'm you're listening to the sport Shock Show. I am
- 0:49Speaker 6: the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you out
- 0:52Speaker 6: there and listening.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Lang. Glad to be here with you on.
- 0:57Speaker 6: This beautiful morning as we roll into a college football Yes,
- 1:02Speaker 6: a lot of you have been experienced experiencing high school football,
- 1:08Speaker 6: but this weekend all the way over in Ireland, the
- 1:15Speaker 6: Tar Hill of North Carolina, Bill Belichick in the game
- 1:24Speaker 6: all the way in Iron Did that? Did I say?
- 1:26Speaker 1: The Ireland Park?
- 1:27Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:28Speaker 1: This ain't no bowl game? This this this this game
- 1:31Speaker 1: one of the season, twelve o'clock in Ireland, U n C.
- 1:35Speaker 6: Versus T see you the horn frog And if if
- 1:46Speaker 6: you ever had some frogs, they sound like horns when
- 1:49Speaker 6: they're out in your yard. So uh that it will
- 1:52Speaker 6: be the first big time game that kicks off the
- 1:55Speaker 6: college season, so the bad producer will be tuned then
- 2:00Speaker 6: as he is a Carolina well I'm sorry, excuse me,
- 2:04Speaker 6: he is football season. And as you know, the one
- 2:08Speaker 6: thing about the bad producer, you're not on the camera.
- 2:12Speaker 6: He went out and through his life he picked up
- 2:18Speaker 6: all the teams that were winning, the Yankees, the Lakers,
- 2:31Speaker 6: the tar Heel basketball.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Team, which is kind of particularly because most times it's
- 2:38Speaker 1: just a full college.
- 2:40Speaker 6: When a person tells you they are, they don't. They
- 2:43Speaker 6: don't have like a mixture. It's just I support this college.
- 2:47Speaker 6: So when a person said go dolls to me, that
- 2:50Speaker 6: means go dolls. Anytime I see Georgia competing, I think
- 2:53Speaker 6: that person is.
- 2:54Speaker 1: A fan Georgia. Pick a ball, go doll. But his
- 2:59Speaker 1: just specific to football.
- 3:03Speaker 6: He's a Falcon fan because Dion played here at one time.
- 3:08Speaker 1: That's when he fell in love. So not really a
- 3:10Speaker 1: Falcon fan as much as he's a prime time loyalist.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Loyalists go Buffalo's. So that's how he rolled. They call
- 3:23Speaker 1: that what pandemonium? But pandemonium, No, you're not a pandemonium guy,
- 3:33Speaker 1: he said, But you asked you, you asked what they
- 3:39Speaker 1: called it, he defined it, and so we're gonna roll
- 3:42Speaker 1: with that. We're gonna roll with pandemonium.
- 3:45Speaker 6: But good morning out. They're glad to be with you.
- 3:47Speaker 6: I got the full crew in the building. We just
- 3:49Speaker 6: had an experiment with the new waffle chicken and waffle
- 3:54Speaker 6: sandwich at Chick fil A.
- 3:57Speaker 1: I say, fire, whoever came came up with it.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Just going there and fire. That's my opinion through my
- 4:04Speaker 6: taste buds. Sometimes you bite into stuff and realize you
- 4:07Speaker 6: wasted your money. I just happened to fall into it
- 4:11Speaker 6: as I was there ordering this morning. I told the
- 4:14Speaker 6: guys I had ordered our regular saw the sign. They
- 4:17Speaker 6: suckered me in chicken and waffle some syrup, I thought,
- 4:22Speaker 6: And they said it was just the first day and
- 4:25Speaker 6: that's really that hooked me when they said it just
- 4:26Speaker 6: came out, and I figured, well, it's seven in the morning,
- 4:30Speaker 6: so why not. And guys, real quick, what would you
- 4:36Speaker 6: say if you was giving a one to ten, ten
- 4:41Speaker 6: being the best thing you ever had, one being the
- 4:44Speaker 6: least thing you ever tried? Where are we at comanch
- 4:48Speaker 6: you Greg with is waffle chicken and waffle from Chick
- 4:52Speaker 6: fil A? I'd give it a five five just just
- 4:55Speaker 6: something Okay, okay, okay, big Kate.
- 5:00Speaker 8: I give it a three, sir. Now listen, listen, listen.
- 5:03Speaker 8: There's a lot of just something you never have to
- 5:05Speaker 8: have again. Well, because it was some things I hadn't
- 5:08Speaker 8: had in a while. They had bacon on it, which
- 5:12Speaker 8: I'm sure it's changing the last thirty years since I
- 5:14Speaker 8: tried it. And then I'm thinking, you say, they seven
- 5:17Speaker 8: o'clock first day they got it, so it's brand new.
- 5:20Speaker 3: They don't even really know how to prepare it yet.
- 5:23Speaker 8: I think that might be part of the curve, is
- 5:25Speaker 8: they got to learn what they doing with it first,
- 5:28Speaker 8: because you know, the first few that came off the
- 5:31Speaker 8: assembly line. Look, you know, the little waffle looked a
- 5:34Speaker 8: little dry over and that's what I'm saying. They trying
- 5:38Speaker 8: to calibrate. Is it thirty seconds? Is it thirty five seconds?
- 5:42Speaker 3: With the waffle?
- 5:43Speaker 8: So I'll give it a three, and it's a hopeful three,
- 5:46Speaker 8: though it's a where.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Are you at?
- 5:50Speaker 4: On?
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna give it a seven because my partner's got
- 5:53Speaker 1: probably got three. We're gonna run to Boston because I
- 5:55Speaker 1: like it, because I think that it's something different and
- 6:00Speaker 1: it's got growth and it's Chick fil A. I'm the
- 6:03Speaker 1: type of person that I believe if when I go
- 6:06Speaker 1: to Chick fil A, they leave something, if leave something
- 6:09Speaker 1: out of my bag in the drive through, it's something
- 6:11Speaker 1: I didn't need and they know better than I know.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So I'm pretty much like this. I can compare it
- 6:16Speaker 1: to a similar product at another No, there's the surfers
- 6:21Speaker 1: inside there. See, we get to put the syrup on here,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and that's and I can control. In comparison to Witch Restaurant,
- 6:27Speaker 1: to McDonald's, it's McDonald chicken. This chicken. This is God's chicken.
- 6:33Speaker 1: That's not chicken.
- 6:35Speaker 8: Really quick sports jock elder case Lamar Hughes Senior asked
- 6:39Speaker 8: what was better the chicken and waffle or the crustable
- 6:42Speaker 8: and then he wanted to know, uh wi, so you
- 6:46Speaker 8: say you would rather have a pop tart?
- 6:50Speaker 1: I would rather had anything else, Casey than that. Anything
- 6:54Speaker 1: but what we just had anything? Anything?
- 6:56Speaker 9: Okay?
- 6:57Speaker 8: Okay, go. I could have had an Eggo frozen my
- 7:06Speaker 8: one to ten.
- 7:07Speaker 6: I gave it a one a one one, and you like,
- 7:11Speaker 6: I feel like I should be able to go right
- 7:13Speaker 6: up there, right now, take my receipt and they should
- 7:17Speaker 6: refund me and my disappointment, not for just mine, but the.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Whole mint, the whole, Yeah, the whole.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It was.
- 7:26Speaker 3: It was me.
- 7:27Speaker 1: It was a one I would tell them.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Thirty years and that was when I got.
- 7:33Speaker 6: If I was in their test kitchen, I would have
- 7:35Speaker 6: told them that this is not either we scratched this completely,
- 7:41Speaker 6: or we find some of the The waffle taste like
- 7:45Speaker 6: you took some frozen waffles in a toaster. The bacon
- 7:53Speaker 6: taste like maybe it was cook Saturday.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It was hard.
- 7:57Speaker 6: The chicken was flattered. They keep calling it chicken. No,
- 8:03Speaker 6: it's not God's chicken. It's not Jesus. My God would
- 8:07Speaker 6: never Jesus is none of the disciples. It's more like
- 8:14Speaker 6: whoever put the lions in the den. They didn't even
- 8:18Speaker 6: give him a name. They just said Daniel was in
- 8:21Speaker 6: the den with the lions, with lions. Whoever brought them
- 8:23Speaker 6: lions into responsible for it? Was somebody down there with that.
- 8:28Speaker 6: So that was it worst thing I've ever brought you.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I'm sorry, like I didn't even make it, and I
- 8:35Speaker 6: feel like I should apologize to you Greg for that.
- 8:38Speaker 6: I would try to find some spectacular next time to
- 8:41Speaker 6: make up for that. That was like a waste of
- 8:45Speaker 6: calories and Chicken Fila should be shamed and we can
- 8:49Speaker 6: move on, but they should be shame of that product
- 8:51Speaker 6: that might be the worst.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Four thumbs down, no, three thumbs down. I like it,
- 8:56Speaker 1: and it's gonna it's gonna get.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Three thumbs down, and.
- 9:01Speaker 6: You should have knowed three thumbs down and then and
- 9:04Speaker 6: the same thing that the.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Bad producer always does. That's why it's hard to me
- 9:08Speaker 1: and him. Boys, but it's hard to deal because once
- 9:10Speaker 1: he's a fan, it's like Mama Cake always good. That's
- 9:15Speaker 1: not true. Mama Cake is nasty. Mama cake, but he
- 9:22Speaker 1: always because he loved mama. Whoever he loves, he gonna
- 9:27Speaker 1: go with. It's gonna go with now, Mama, donem confuse
- 9:29Speaker 1: the salt with the sugar. You gotta put a little.
- 9:36Speaker 6: She gotta confuse a huge show for you today. And
- 9:41Speaker 6: you said, el the case he asked me about the
- 9:43Speaker 6: sandwich is a one? Was the other question which I'd
- 9:47Speaker 6: rather have a crustable? And that was like a two?
- 9:51Speaker 1: A two?
- 9:53Speaker 3: That ain't the one which you rather have a pop tart?
- 9:58Speaker 6: Yes, I would have rather had a pop tark that
- 10:01Speaker 6: pop tark any any I don't know, Huckleberry I'm talking
- 10:07Speaker 6: about anything that they made was better than what.
- 10:09Speaker 3: I just very pop tark.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Now, somebody's gonna hear that it pop tart and be like, look, man,
- 10:14Speaker 1: if Chick fil they could roll out that waff of
- 10:16Speaker 1: chicken salamon, we definitely give a shot. Hule Beerry pop tart.
- 10:20Speaker 6: I'm sitting there right now just wishing I had like
- 10:23Speaker 6: twelve minutes to run around to Chick Filato. Y'all need
- 10:27Speaker 6: to do something for me, man, do something. Go ahead,
- 10:29Speaker 6: do something for me.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:32Speaker 8: We got that too early. Give them they start. They
- 10:34Speaker 8: started selling them at seven am. You pulled up at
- 10:37Speaker 8: seven six. They were like, let them, man die, and
- 10:40Speaker 8: they just the little proto type.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Yeah, give them the prototype. I wish the person sure
- 10:45Speaker 1: you want this? I think that's what the person that
- 10:47Speaker 1: asked me about my order should have been.
- 10:50Speaker 10: Uh.
- 10:50Speaker 6: The only good thing about the experience is that if
- 10:52Speaker 6: it's pennies, they round down.
- 10:56Speaker 1: So the bill was twenty two four cent and got
- 11:00Speaker 1: the pick cash. They get rid of the four cent
- 11:02Speaker 1: and paid. They just paid twenty two.
- 11:05Speaker 8: If they took them penage, we'd be back over there
- 11:07Speaker 8: right now. We have to go back about all in
- 11:10Speaker 8: the truck ye all down and went over there to
- 11:16Speaker 8: put out some poison clean Oh, just so they know we.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Need they know when we pull g and it'd be
- 11:27Speaker 3: one dude on some artists about them sandwiches.
- 11:30Speaker 6: But we have a great show for you today. We're
- 11:32Speaker 6: gonna talk about uh no n o. Pat McAfee has
- 11:37Speaker 6: a song out South Carolina quarterback. Excuse me, he's got
- 11:42Speaker 6: a whole out hold out. Yeah, and none of y'all.
- 11:47Speaker 6: I thought we was born daddy. I mean, I know
- 11:50Speaker 6: we ain't there to day. You know, I know it exists.
- 11:54Speaker 6: I thought that was you let me know about the
- 11:56Speaker 6: pack back. I thought that reached that level. Yeah, I
- 12:00Speaker 6: thought we was that tight. I know it exists. I
- 12:03Speaker 6: didn't critique it or nothing. We're gonna talk about uh
- 12:08Speaker 6: rice and did Shambeau called the media the mafia. That's
- 12:13Speaker 6: what we've made it to as a as a company.
- 12:16Speaker 6: The media is the mafia. He says that much more
- 12:20Speaker 6: coming on the Sports Jock Show. We'll be right back.
- 12:24Speaker 3: I could have fronted by did I prefer.
- 12:28Speaker 7: I know I should be humble, but it's something I
- 12:30Speaker 7: just haven't learned soon enough.
- 12:33Speaker 11: John bowl Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with
- 12:36Speaker 11: Wayne Dams videos coming up next.

- 13:49Speaker 14: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Hey, Hey, we're so excited for tonight. Before we come over, though,
- 13:55Speaker 1: may ask if there are any unlocked guns in your home.
- 13:58Speaker 15: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that
- 14:01Speaker 15: the kids can't access.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Awesome.

- 14:20Speaker 15: vulnerable and powerful. That taking care of your mind is

- 14:53Speaker 1: Now it's time to present the Jock of the day.
- 14:56Speaker 1: All the sports jockshits taken it to a completely different
- 14:59Speaker 1: level this.
- 14:59Speaker 12: Year, where we highlight an acolyte that has taken their
- 15:02Speaker 12: game to the next level.
- 15:06Speaker 8: Go ahead, Oh, go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, come
- 15:14Speaker 8: go ahead.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Are you fancy hunh ah? You fancy hunt?
- 15:18Speaker 17: Are you fancy hunt?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Are you fancy hush?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Bil? Nothing here? Nothing?
- 15:23Speaker 1: Everything did now that tails? Nothing here everything?
- 15:26Speaker 6: Are you welcome back to this sport shock show. I'm
- 15:28Speaker 6: the swart shock wing kin d. One of the co
- 15:31Speaker 6: founders of eesp N nineteen seventy nine, Bill Rasmussen passed away.
- 15:39Speaker 6: I see week since we last was airing at the
- 15:43Speaker 6: age of ninety three. Oh, you're talking about a man
- 15:47Speaker 6: that was always a winner. He won with his son.
- 15:51Speaker 6: When they started ESPN, they said they started because they
- 15:54Speaker 6: just wanted to see more Connecticut sports. They lived there
- 16:00Speaker 6: and they wanted to see everything, kind of like you
- 16:04Speaker 6: know how you watch your local news coverage or your
- 16:07Speaker 6: state news games and things like that. They wanted to
- 16:10Speaker 6: see everything. And this is where remember this is nineteen
- 16:13Speaker 6: seventy nine, so don't think of it now because.
- 16:16Speaker 1: You're like, oh, well, don't we already have that?
- 16:18Speaker 6: Sure, but we're talking about forty seven years ago. Yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 6: when they wanted to see what was going on throughout
- 16:26Speaker 6: the state and they started this company which now is
- 16:30Speaker 6: the number one leader since about that inception of Sports
- 16:38Speaker 6: twenty four hour sports. My interest in this is for
- 16:43Speaker 6: the man who started ESPN. I didn't feel like the
- 16:46Speaker 6: company even really said much about Bill Rasmussen, y'all. I
- 16:53Speaker 6: would have thought you would have got a lot of love,
- 16:55Speaker 6: like every day.
- 16:56Speaker 8: The guy who made sure that we had careers. I
- 17:00Speaker 8: saw a clip on Instagram as far as they did
- 17:05Speaker 8: a little.
- 17:05Speaker 1: They did a tribute on Sports Center that one time,
- 17:10Speaker 1: and that was it.
- 17:11Speaker 6: We got to think about all the That's what I'm
- 17:13Speaker 6: saying for the man who started the company. Don't you
- 17:15Speaker 6: think I get like I get a thirty for thirty.
- 17:19Speaker 6: I should be getting a movie here soon by ESPN themselves.
- 17:24Speaker 1: They should be making their own.
- 17:26Speaker 8: Which for me, as someone who watches ESPN and wonders
- 17:34Speaker 8: why we got thirty for thirty on the points shaving
- 17:42Speaker 8: scandal in the cricket finals, you know what I'm saying.
- 17:45Speaker 8: I've seen that I wonder why what so why wouldn't
- 17:49Speaker 8: we do one on Big Bill?
- 17:51Speaker 11: Was?
- 17:51Speaker 8: What was Bill's scandal that we don't want to tie
- 17:55Speaker 8: ESPN to him in his legacy, because that's the only
- 17:59Speaker 8: thing could be for me. Ted Turner, he sold tea
- 18:04Speaker 8: in te years ago, and when he passed away, the
- 18:07Speaker 8: Braves and everybody else said, hey, man, hold up, hold up,
- 18:11Speaker 8: terrific ted out of here. Now I know he ain't
- 18:14Speaker 8: got nothing to do with none of us, no more.
- 18:16Speaker 8: He ain't got nothing to do with the video shows
- 18:19Speaker 8: or the network and none of that. But he was
- 18:21Speaker 8: the father of this and that and that and that
- 18:24Speaker 8: and then so for that, salute Ted Turner.
- 18:27Speaker 3: So what Bill do that we don't want to salute him.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I don't know, Man, they got something. Maybe they have
- 18:32Speaker 1: something in the chamber that's coming up.
- 18:34Speaker 6: But I just thought I would start my show recognizing
- 18:37Speaker 6: the man who basically introduced us to twenty four hour sports.
- 18:43Speaker 1: I think part of it is that he actually wasn't
- 18:45Speaker 1: there very long after it launched.
- 18:47Speaker 3: It doesn't matter he died at ninety.
- 18:50Speaker 18: I Well, you said something about people who worked there
- 18:53Speaker 18: didn't know about him.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Well like that.
- 18:55Speaker 6: Unfortunately, what I'm saying, there's a lot of people who
- 18:58Speaker 6: started something and then sold it. But that doesn't take
- 19:00Speaker 6: away them.
- 19:01Speaker 8: It was nineteen Hey, hey, trust me the guy that
- 19:04Speaker 8: sold listen to you, the sports jock those horrible sandwiches
- 19:07Speaker 8: this morning.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Never worked with True at Kathy either, But.
- 19:11Speaker 8: I guarantee he know the name, and he hadn't seen
- 19:15Speaker 8: a picture, and he got some point of reference for
- 19:17Speaker 8: who we're talking about. This is espean that has spawned
- 19:22Speaker 8: into ESPN Pops at ESPN College, ESPN W and the OCHO.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Other at ESPN. Two other stations are trying to formulate
- 19:33Speaker 1: a way to compete with we ESPN.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Now they own ABC.
- 19:38Speaker 8: I'm saying, you know all of that kind of stuff,
- 19:40Speaker 8: and this man I didn't know.
- 19:42Speaker 3: He was gone. I'm sorry, Billy.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Somebody ay and you said last Monday, you say maybe
- 19:49Speaker 1: they got something in the chamber. He was ninety three.
- 19:51Speaker 8: How much longer they want the man to wait to
- 19:53Speaker 8: get his flowers?
- 19:55Speaker 6: Ninety three years old? Nineteen seventy nine, Him and his
- 19:58Speaker 6: son and True off a pure idea that they lived
- 20:02Speaker 6: in Connecticut and wanted to be able to start and
- 20:08Speaker 6: see all their sports around Connecticut, and that snowballed into
- 20:12Speaker 6: what we call esp and Bill Rasmussen and.
- 20:16Speaker 8: Nobody criticize them. They ain't gonna criticize them like they
- 20:19Speaker 8: did for Fire and Ryan Clark. Don't nobody want to
- 20:22Speaker 8: be on.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Some Hey what are y'all doing?
- 20:25Speaker 6: And that's amazing, so much things that it's so crazy.
- 20:29Speaker 6: And that's why I was talking about the media becoming mafia,
- 20:34Speaker 6: and we're part of the media. It's it's amazing how
- 20:38Speaker 6: like when something pure and real comes to the table,
- 20:43Speaker 6: it gets no coverage, but we will find an angle
- 20:49Speaker 6: to push ideas and scandal and hate. When this is
- 20:54Speaker 6: actually something that people should know to be promoted, we'll get.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But we can get ten storylines every day about Bill
- 21:07Speaker 1: Belichick and his girlfriend.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Are they still together?
- 21:12Speaker 1: I don't know about.
- 21:14Speaker 6: I'm saying, if she shows up in Ireland yesterday, they're
- 21:17Speaker 6: gonna put pictures out. It's going to be all this.
- 21:20Speaker 6: If they win, they'll say something about how.
- 21:23Speaker 1: You did this.
- 21:23Speaker 6: If they lose, Bill shouldn't have had on the trip,
- 21:26Speaker 6: they just we will push into that.
- 21:29Speaker 1: But then when a pioneer, that's what.
- 21:33Speaker 8: You are, and that's how they describe him as sports
- 21:36Speaker 8: TV visionary, the godfather oft When you.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Read different stuff, you know Lewis and Clark realized as
- 21:42Speaker 1: soon as one of them got back they died. They
- 21:46Speaker 1: didn't even get to realized it's just tired. They've made it.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Down the tie bos.
- 21:51Speaker 6: So that's why I'm just giving it and think about
- 21:55Speaker 6: this Bill some love, because this man pioneered the thing
- 21:59Speaker 6: that we all all you check ESPN to be able
- 22:03Speaker 6: to do sports through all your references, you have to
- 22:07Speaker 6: click on ESPN to see how they gave you the story.
- 22:12Speaker 6: Even if you don't watch it on TV, you have
- 22:14Speaker 6: to click on. And it's almost like they still are
- 22:16Speaker 6: the verifying company of you know.
- 22:20Speaker 8: TMZ said they legitimized it right, will make it confirm.
- 22:26Speaker 8: And the funny thing is too that you would say
- 22:29Speaker 8: we were talking about you know, when you first start
- 22:32Speaker 8: most companies they give you the history. You know what
- 22:34Speaker 8: the cart so they have to say this is how
- 22:36Speaker 8: if you first take the job with the company, Hey,
- 22:38Speaker 8: this is our founding company man, this is the guy
- 22:40Speaker 8: who found the company. So you would think that the
- 22:44Speaker 8: employees would know and you would wonder why they hadn't did.
- 22:46Speaker 6: Anything Bill Rasmussen did at ninety three, the co founder
- 22:51Speaker 6: of ESPN. We'll be back No and I l I'll
- 22:56Speaker 6: explain that when we come back from this quick commercial break.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Gotta adapt. You know where I'm at. I put the
- 23:04Speaker 1: six on a map. You surety was Vince. You wanted
- 23:06Speaker 1: to vent a promisive fall in my lab.

- 26:08Speaker 6: about which direction that Todd Monkin says and the Browns
- 26:13Speaker 6: say they Today they're going to announce who will be
- 26:16Speaker 6: Week one starter Beteene, Deshaun Watson, and Shaduor Sanders. We
- 26:21Speaker 6: also talk about Deshaun Watson feeling that the booze he
- 26:26Speaker 6: received are personal. We'll talk about that in just a second,
- 26:30Speaker 6: but we're going to start off with day Kwan Wright,
- 26:35Speaker 6: the tight end who left Ole miss and went to
- 26:41Speaker 6: camp with the Browns. The Browns released him and his
- 26:46Speaker 6: agents got him signed up to play with LSU. That's
- 26:53Speaker 6: this all happened here in the last forty eight hours.
- 26:58Speaker 6: Being on this side of the mic, I asked this
- 27:00Speaker 6: question to the same cast and crew about a year
- 27:06Speaker 6: ago when Tampa Bay let Shiloh Sanders go. I've been
- 27:13Speaker 6: asking why nobody wants to just let the NCAA be football,
- 27:27Speaker 6: I said, I would.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Tell you no.
- 27:29Speaker 6: NIL. NIL stands for name, image and likeness. It was
- 27:37Speaker 6: part of the deal where that's how the college athlete
- 27:41Speaker 6: would be handled. That each and every college athlete can
- 27:45Speaker 6: go down to Frank's tow truck and get Frank to
- 27:51Speaker 6: sponsor them. That's how they instituted the pay. There's no
- 27:59Speaker 6: NIA now because the college itself now.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Pays.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Some of you are out there walking around still talking
- 28:12Speaker 6: about such and such player. Did you see the nil
- 28:19Speaker 6: deal he signed? That wasn't an NIL deal. Kirby Smart
- 28:27Speaker 6: and the University of Georgia are writing direct checks no
- 28:33Speaker 6: different than your pro team is writing a check that
- 28:39Speaker 6: has nothing to do with NIL. I said all that
- 28:45Speaker 6: to say, so, if there's no NIL and there's just
- 28:47Speaker 6: gonna be pay, Big Kenny command you, Greg bad Producer.
- 28:52Speaker 6: College teams are now forced to go get former gms.
- 28:57Speaker 1: They've hired whole.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Coordinate staffs, They've had to separate the football department from
- 29:04Speaker 6: the rest of the sports. Why won't y'all just accept
- 29:12Speaker 6: that what we knew is college football doesn't exist and
- 29:16Speaker 6: be cool with day Kwan Wright and anybody that has
- 29:20Speaker 6: never touched a football field in the NFL playing on
- 29:25Speaker 6: the college level as long as a college team wants
- 29:29Speaker 6: them to play.
- 29:30Speaker 3: So he is he will be suiting up for LSU.
- 29:36Speaker 18: Yes, and it's because of a there was a temporary
- 29:42Speaker 18: restraining order FIUT in in Louisiana and probably a few
- 29:46Speaker 18: other states that guys can return to.
- 29:51Speaker 1: They get injured. Y yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 29:55Speaker 6: I want to know why can't we just why can't
- 29:57Speaker 6: LSU just be a football team? This is the sports
- 30:01Speaker 6: shop trying to learn from you, gentlemen, right, we've been
- 30:03Speaker 6: waiting for what? What am I thinking? How is my
- 30:07Speaker 6: thinking wrong? This is an honest trying to I've asked
- 30:10Speaker 6: several people this, Why don't you just want the next
- 30:15Speaker 6: group of best players to play football? Why can't Diego
- 30:21Speaker 6: Pavia who couldn't make the Ravens, Why can't Central Ohio
- 30:29Speaker 6: pick him up?
- 30:32Speaker 1: There's still that eligibility when you started when when you
- 30:40Speaker 1: started this, when you started this, yes, you told me
- 30:47Speaker 1: that my football was intrinsically woven into the fabric of
- 30:53Speaker 1: this university, and the fact that I was playing football
- 30:59Speaker 1: for the universe diversity was what my benefit was because
- 31:04Speaker 1: it was higher education and I was gonna achieve all
- 31:07Speaker 1: of these life lessons. And then somebody even asked you, like,
- 31:11Speaker 1: I say, I ain't come to school to practice school.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I came to school to practice football. And no people
- 31:18Speaker 1: got upset about that. And then you, because you visionary,
- 31:22Speaker 1: you was like, man, this is just regular football. We
- 31:25Speaker 1: could just pay them if they gonna pay him.
- 31:27Speaker 8: But now they don't know how to pull the thread
- 31:30Speaker 8: out without the rest of the fabric unrappling.
- 31:32Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying.
- 31:33Speaker 8: You done attached but your school and to the education,
- 31:36Speaker 8: and now you're finna tell these football dudes they ain't
- 31:39Speaker 8: got to do none of that. But I'm on a
- 31:41Speaker 8: track scholarship, So I'm saying, come, my track can't be
- 31:45Speaker 8: like his football. But and we still go to the
- 31:48Speaker 8: same club sponsor. We're still at Georgia, were still at Tennessee.
- 31:54Speaker 8: But he off driving Maseraties and Lamborghinis, and he went
- 32:01Speaker 8: and tried out for a whole nother's club and they
- 32:04Speaker 8: was like, you're not good enough, and you gonna let
- 32:06Speaker 8: him come back here and still get money from it.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I want to see the fastest people all the time.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I love your example. I want to still see I
- 32:18Speaker 1: don't want to see the next generation. I want to
- 32:20Speaker 1: see the fast I want to always see whoever's the
- 32:23Speaker 1: fastest person that they don't take from.
- 32:26Speaker 8: Us, that doesn't go to the next level. We're gonna
- 32:30Speaker 8: keep the fastest person that can't go to the next
- 32:32Speaker 8: level here. And some people will get upset about that
- 32:35Speaker 8: because they always saw college sports as attrition. At some point,
- 32:39Speaker 8: even the bo Jackson's gonna leave, but at some point
- 32:43Speaker 8: that rally Moss gotta go.
- 32:45Speaker 1: But that college sport was about GPA and all of
- 32:50Speaker 1: that stuff that they used to tell you, stuff, that stuff.
- 32:54Speaker 6: That you used to create the great Hall of Famer.
- 32:56Speaker 6: Don Stalen see. That's why you know I can. And
- 33:00Speaker 6: when Donna Staley made that statement, I no longer held
- 33:04Speaker 6: her to a dress code. If y'all remember, I used
- 33:06Speaker 6: to be like doing and put on something. But I
- 33:08Speaker 6: still think she should wear more South Carolina stuff. I
- 33:11Speaker 6: don't care if she gets Gucci to make it her
- 33:14Speaker 6: brand is No, it's not about I like that.
- 33:18Speaker 5: I like that.
- 33:19Speaker 1: It's like that for damn you know, I don't care.
- 33:21Speaker 6: I don't care who may. I'm just saying it should
- 33:23Speaker 6: say game Cop. That's all I'm asking you done. It
- 33:27Speaker 6: can be any designer. Just make them make a line
- 33:30Speaker 6: of it. It should be a Gucci on the front,
- 33:32Speaker 6: but game Cops on your back. It should be something
- 33:36Speaker 6: like that. But when she came up, and she said
- 33:41Speaker 6: her whole conversation. When she go into a room now
- 33:46Speaker 6: with players, she don't beat around the bush. She wants
- 33:50Speaker 6: to know how much how much. She ain't about to
- 33:54Speaker 6: walk on campus. She not to show you about the
- 33:57Speaker 6: lake where you.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Can have lunch. We just got this new weight room.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Well see how much? How much?
- 34:06Speaker 3: And that's what I'm saying. Me and my daughter got
- 34:10Speaker 3: a number.
- 34:11Speaker 8: We've been on the number since about her freshman year
- 34:14Speaker 8: of high school because we knew don was coming and
- 34:16Speaker 8: we cool with that.
- 34:18Speaker 3: But all them kids played volleyball with her.
- 34:22Speaker 8: He did because I was supposed to, and we ain't
- 34:26Speaker 8: the But it's school, ain't it. And again South Carolina
- 34:30Speaker 8: supposed to be the school you keep trying to marry
- 34:34Speaker 8: my school stories.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Before you start, if you watch what they did the
- 34:41Speaker 6: wording for the Kwan They said the kwan Wright signed.
- 34:47Speaker 1: With LSU, right right. He didn't commit, He did not
- 34:52Speaker 1: he signed with ls signed.
- 34:54Speaker 8: You tell me this person who signed and committed and
- 34:57Speaker 8: seen that transition and lived in the form the way
- 35:01Speaker 8: it was designed, and you're watching it now, how do
- 35:04Speaker 8: they separate the two? How do they make sure that
- 35:08Speaker 8: we ain't even got to do injunctions no more? Why
- 35:10Speaker 8: are we taking this to court?
- 35:11Speaker 6: I'm telling you that no one athletically should be required,
- 35:16Speaker 6: just like I have learned over the last couple of months.
- 35:19Speaker 6: Blew my mind away, even last night at dinner, sitting
- 35:23Speaker 6: there blowing my mind away that a lot of schools
- 35:29Speaker 6: or even or either all schools now you're not required
- 35:35Speaker 6: to take the SAT.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah. So the thing that me you com magic, Greg
- 35:42Speaker 1: and the bad Producer, the umbrella of.
- 35:45Speaker 6: We got that pressure of going to take the SAT
- 35:47Speaker 6: or the act to qualify for college no longer exists.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Yeah, that should have been. That should have been.
- 35:54Speaker 6: Why does eligibility and why do you care if anybody
- 36:01Speaker 6: the volleyball team. There's some players, right, that's what's sneaking.
- 36:06Speaker 6: It's a couple of volleyball players making two three million
- 36:09Speaker 6: dollars a year at some of these universities. They're getting signed,
- 36:13Speaker 6: and nobody's just not saying anything about it. Right, So
- 36:17Speaker 6: I'm saying all sports now, the gymnastic team, whatever they
- 36:23Speaker 6: can generate.
- 36:25Speaker 8: Would that be a blanket eligibility in that Shadure can
- 36:30Speaker 8: learn today that he ain't the weak one starter and
- 36:33Speaker 8: be on somewhere.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I'm gonna just go back to Colorado.
- 36:36Speaker 1: No, I said, I'll give you one rule, one rule,
- 36:39Speaker 1: as long as you played and never played right. Has
- 36:44Speaker 1: never played in the NFL game, and he.
- 36:46Speaker 18: Was undrafted, so that was an he just got picked
- 36:50Speaker 18: up somebody in the draft.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Next year, somebody looked at him.
- 36:54Speaker 3: No not this time. Okay, well I'm gone back to
- 36:58Speaker 3: So why can't he be able to go work?
- 37:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:01Speaker 8: It's like it's like I got a job and I'm
- 37:03Speaker 8: gonna go interview for this other job. They said, na,
- 37:05Speaker 8: not this time. So I'm gonna just keep my job
- 37:07Speaker 8: I got. I'm gonna just stay worrying and please, lawyer, listen,
- 37:11Speaker 8: let me know why why are we still trying to hold?
- 37:14Speaker 8: If y'all aren't doing S A T and A C T,
- 37:19Speaker 8: I'm all done.
- 37:20Speaker 18: I'm waiting for them to for all the schools to
- 37:25Speaker 18: break away because the n c A has no power
- 37:28Speaker 18: of what the really what the school so they can
- 37:31Speaker 18: form their own thing and eligibility.
- 37:34Speaker 1: There was a lot of the A C T, S
- 37:37Speaker 1: A T kept alive athletics from getting scholars.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Or is that students in general?
- 37:44Speaker 1: Students in general? Oh okay, I didn't know.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I thought I thought it was just I want them

- 40:57Speaker 2: I'll see even.
- 41:01Speaker 6: Welcome back to this what shock shum the sweat Shock
- 41:03Speaker 6: Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there in listening land.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Command you.
- 41:08Speaker 6: Greg McKinney, the Bad Producer in the building on this
- 41:11Speaker 6: beautiful Monday morning as we roll in to the first
- 41:16Speaker 6: week of college football coming up this Saturday, Big Time
- 41:21Speaker 6: kick off. We were just talking about what I deem
- 41:25Speaker 6: no nil, just trying to get you remember that colleges
- 41:29Speaker 6: are paying. Those deals you've seeing are contracts that players
- 41:33Speaker 6: and athletes are getting with the college, not with Chick
- 41:39Speaker 6: fil A and Zaxby's and raising canes. That's just extra money.
- 41:45Speaker 6: They're signing deals with colleges. Colleges are set a budget.
- 41:49Speaker 6: The conferences are setting budgets without telling you, so they
- 41:53Speaker 6: trying to keep that part. Everybody is not getting paid.
- 42:00Speaker 6: Don't think that everybody. There's a percentage of players still
- 42:04Speaker 6: aren't getting paid unless you go out and and seek
- 42:07Speaker 6: your own n I l and teams like a Colorado
- 42:12Speaker 6: and Dion. That's why Deon loves this time.
- 42:15Speaker 1: And any coach like a Dion who just might be
- 42:18Speaker 1: a player's coach or a coach that really likes to
- 42:21Speaker 1: deal with veterans. Deon builds his teams with your players.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna get me one.
- 42:29Speaker 6: Or two who they deem to be the next big
- 42:32Speaker 6: thing from high school, and I'm gonna get twenty of
- 42:39Speaker 6: app State and the guy that backed up at South
- 42:44Speaker 6: Carolina and the Southern Mists best running back, and I'm
- 42:48Speaker 6: gonna bring them out here, so I'm never gonna start
- 42:51Speaker 6: back at zero.
- 42:53Speaker 4: And not in.
- 42:55Speaker 6: You got that's your company that you know. Whereas Clipson
- 43:00Speaker 6: still kind of does it the old way with diabold swingeing,
- 43:04Speaker 6: Deon does it the new way because he can outbid
- 43:09Speaker 6: Georgia State. I had plenty conversations with Dale McGee, the
- 43:15Speaker 6: head coach went to college with me, the head coach
- 43:17Speaker 6: at Georgia State. We've laughed about it, but some of
- 43:21Speaker 6: those stories were true. When deal like the tight end,
- 43:25Speaker 6: His tight end is three miles from the Maryland campus, right, Coach,
- 43:30Speaker 6: I just want to know, I ain't at the dorm
- 43:32Speaker 6: no more. I'm pulling up the Maryland. I can't afford
- 43:38Speaker 6: him because remember I don't even have to go back
- 43:42Speaker 6: to the school.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Kirby Nick Saban kind of got out because the family
- 43:47Speaker 1: was trying to play the two teams.
- 43:52Speaker 6: We forget that he was talking to a player. They
- 43:55Speaker 6: thought they had a deal. That player took what like
- 43:57Speaker 6: you're doing a negotiation, just like on the car dealship.
- 44:00Speaker 6: That's what a pro does I call the Falcons and
- 44:03Speaker 6: they said, they said this number, okay, let me think
- 44:07Speaker 6: about it.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Let me think about it means that I'm gonna call
- 44:09Speaker 1: the Seahawks.
- 44:11Speaker 3: And see if they can match it.
- 44:12Speaker 6: Or and tell them what and then if they go up,
- 44:17Speaker 6: I may call the Falcons. But if they hit my number,
- 44:19Speaker 6: that I think the Falcons and I might always want
- 44:22Speaker 6: to live in anyway, it's the same thing they're doing.
- 44:25Speaker 6: The only thing in college they don't have to tell
- 44:28Speaker 6: you that I'm taking your player.
- 44:31Speaker 18: So the coaches don't like that they have to so
- 44:33Speaker 18: there's not no tempering. You played for me this year,
- 44:36Speaker 18: but now I got to recruit you all over again
- 44:40Speaker 18: for you to stay. But if someone comes in with
- 44:43Speaker 18: a better deal, like I think that's what federally they're
- 44:48Speaker 18: trying to change the where like you can only you
- 44:51Speaker 18: can only do this once. You can only do this
- 44:53Speaker 18: transfer portal thing one time instead of every year. Now
- 44:56Speaker 18: you have guys playing at five six different schools.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Question. So now with this being said done, because it
- 45:04Speaker 1: was like Lane Kiffin had called Todd Monkey or called
- 45:08Speaker 1: someone about the right player. Now you're going to set
- 45:13Speaker 1: up unions. You got to put up everything like different
- 45:16Speaker 1: you're gonna have to set up a lot of different.
- 45:18Speaker 6: Well, I don't know that Lane kiffen called anybody. Rememberdykin
- 45:23Speaker 6: Wright played for Lane Kiffin last year.
- 45:27Speaker 3: We have a lawsuit with the with the court order
- 45:32Speaker 3: that allowed him to go back.
- 45:35Speaker 1: That's where came out. Okay, So with that, I'm just saying,
- 45:40Speaker 1: it's gotta be some kind of way that they're gonna
- 45:44Speaker 1: have to put in some form of text and balances
- 45:48Speaker 1: with a union or something where you no tampering. Because
- 45:52Speaker 1: it seemed like this. Let me make sure. I got
- 45:56Speaker 1: to make sure he understands it. The n C Double
- 45:58Speaker 1: A don't want to hear the word union. They're not
- 46:02Speaker 1: about to institute anything.
- 46:03Speaker 19: And that.
- 46:08Speaker 3: And this is what I'm trying that thank you so
- 46:10Speaker 3: much for opening that door.
- 46:12Speaker 8: Is you again keep talking about a system that was
- 46:17Speaker 8: predicated on number one, us being able to exploit some
- 46:21Speaker 8: of these rules and regulations to our advantage. So we
- 46:25Speaker 8: could let you play in Red shirt you and do
- 46:28Speaker 8: all this stuff as long as we could keep you.
- 46:31Speaker 8: But then all of a sudden you start acting like
- 46:33Speaker 8: a pro and we want to tell you you don't.
- 46:37Speaker 8: We should have to get permission to leave. But remember
- 46:41Speaker 8: all of that stuff was tied to my financial hardships
- 46:44Speaker 8: and all the things that they fought so hard for
- 46:47Speaker 8: to get to the nil level. And they thought they
- 46:50Speaker 8: was going to crack that door a little bit and
- 46:52Speaker 8: just the money part was gonna squeeze in, and then
- 46:55Speaker 8: everybody was gonna steal play by rules and regulations.
- 46:58Speaker 3: But once the money got.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Instant it people gonna start doing with people who get
- 47:02Speaker 1: a lot of money due, and that's anything they can
- 47:05Speaker 1: to get a lot more money. So why do I
- 47:08Speaker 1: have to call you again to leave because you didn't
- 47:11Speaker 1: like it when I left last time? Well, I'm not
- 47:14Speaker 1: talking about the leaving, I'm talking about the temperment of it.
- 47:17Speaker 3: So why is it tampering now?
- 47:19Speaker 8: Why it wasn't tampering last year when when you could
- 47:22Speaker 8: afford trying to back into the too late? Thank you,
- 47:27Speaker 8: that's my point. You're trying to it's better off just
- 47:30Speaker 8: trying to like hay out. Look, maybe Congress will do something,
- 47:35Speaker 8: maybe not. Maybe we could talk to government into giving
- 47:39Speaker 8: us another COVID or something and we could go back
- 47:42Speaker 8: and reset everything. But right now that toothpaste out the
- 47:46Speaker 8: two and nobody wants to see it go back in,
- 47:49Speaker 8: especially these athletes. I've seen someone and we joked about it,
- 47:53Speaker 8: but when he's seen some of these athletes literally play
- 47:56Speaker 8: for four or five schools in their eligibility time, and
- 48:00Speaker 8: each time they go they get a bigger paycheck.
- 48:04Speaker 1: So Auburn, Auburn left their best receiver, Cam Coleman, to
- 48:07Speaker 1: Texas and now you meet, I can go try out
- 48:11Speaker 1: for the Bears and if I don't make it, That's
- 48:14Speaker 1: what I'm saying that on that part of it.
- 48:16Speaker 6: He was at Auburn. Auburn was throwing him as many
- 48:19Speaker 6: as balls if they could throw. So it wasn't one
- 48:22Speaker 6: of those things where I'm underappreciated.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Appreciate it.
- 48:26Speaker 8: It's just that Texas got Texas money at Auburn got
- 48:31Speaker 8: I was yellow, but Auburn got yellowood.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Money and that's long money.
- 48:35Speaker 8: But it's just the one from Texas got all kind
- 48:39Speaker 8: of color wood out there.
- 48:40Speaker 1: We'll be back with more the Sports Jock Show right
- 48:42Speaker 1: after this.
- 48:44Speaker 23: Slaughtered gangs saw snatch up. Ain't no regular rap, no
- 48:50Speaker 23: cap of street, not a rapper get them many turn
- 48:54Speaker 23: it to a.
- 48:56Speaker 11: John Boy, Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with
- 48:59Speaker 11: Wayne d Videos.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Dumbing up masked.
- 49:09Speaker 24: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs.
- 49:12Speaker 24: But it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 49:15Speaker 24: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 49:19Speaker 24: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 49:22Speaker 24: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 49:26Speaker 24: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 49:29Speaker 24: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it isn't
- 49:31Speaker 24: ad to make you think twice. Get the facts. Go
- 49:35Speaker 24: to real deeal on fentanyl dot com. This message is
- 49:38Speaker 24: brought to you by the AD Council.
- 49:39Speaker 12: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 49:42Speaker 12: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 49:45Speaker 12: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 49:49Speaker 12: life insurance.
- 49:50Speaker 25: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 49:52Speaker 25: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 49:54Speaker 25: forever life insurance.
- 49:55Speaker 3: What's the last thing on my mind?
- 49:56Speaker 13: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 50:00Speaker 25: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 50:02Speaker 25: bills piling up, I was worried how my family would
- 50:04Speaker 25: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 50:06Speaker 25: the insurance informant.
- 50:07Speaker 12: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 50:10Speaker 12: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 50:12Speaker 25: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 50:15Speaker 25: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 50:17Speaker 12: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 50:19Speaker 12: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 50:21Speaker 12: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 50:24Speaker 12: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 50:27Speaker 12: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 50:32Speaker 12: Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits
- 50:36Speaker 12: or bills dot com.
- 50:40Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy.
- 50:45Speaker 9: Center Court on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 50:53Speaker 4: Fuck man, y'n't get it?
- 50:54Speaker 1: Do you type of money?
- 50:56Speaker 17: Aybody?
- 50:56Speaker 4: I can like to know you.
- 50:57Speaker 7: Go uptown New York City Views, Suspanish drids, love me
- 51:01Speaker 7: like a Mama dater, Tell Uncle Lope, got Miami to
- 51:04Speaker 7: club and harf freaking women name us And though risk
- 51:07Speaker 7: playing got a kind of up on best game, still
- 51:09Speaker 7: getting grained from a thing A.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Welcome back to the sport Shock Show.
- 51:13Speaker 6: I'm in the sports shock quain Ganandy big question as
- 51:16Speaker 6: we talked about the young man, they coined, right, going
- 51:19Speaker 6: back to college. Remember the NBA. Lets you get drafted,
- 51:24Speaker 6: see how your draft status got and if your don't,
- 51:27Speaker 6: you know, if you don't get drafted, where you want,
- 51:29Speaker 6: you can go back.
- 51:31Speaker 1: I just know my solution. Let it be.
- 51:34Speaker 6: I don't think you're gonna miss college the old way.
- 51:40Speaker 6: I think people are more wrapped up into whether their
- 51:43Speaker 6: team wins or loses than who graduates. That is not
- 51:47Speaker 6: a selling point. That is that is not it anymore.
- 51:54Speaker 6: How good nice your campus is. It's about that you
- 51:57Speaker 6: have some waterfalls in your act, in the in the
- 52:01Speaker 6: workout facility, in a top chef, and a local real
- 52:09Speaker 6: estate agent. Because why I'm not living on campus, I'm
- 52:14Speaker 6: not even going to campus. They keep trying to give
- 52:18Speaker 6: your doer tickets. You ever wonder why he got so
- 52:21Speaker 6: many tickets. That means he drove the campus. Because when
- 52:27Speaker 6: I was I was on campus as an athlete, my
- 52:30Speaker 6: car might.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Park three miles a week because I just find a
- 52:34Speaker 1: dorm and walked to do He got nine hundred tickets
- 52:38Speaker 1: because he got a drive everywhere he goes.
- 52:41Speaker 6: He trying to find somewhere to put park a Bentley
- 52:44Speaker 6: Ghost because you don't want to just park that next
- 52:48Speaker 6: to you know, people ding in your car. So he
- 52:51Speaker 6: looking for some good space, Yeah, making him a parking space.
- 52:55Speaker 6: And that's what he's doing. So I don't know why
- 52:57Speaker 6: y'all are trying to force pro elites into some class
- 53:02Speaker 6: regiment when you've got the great Dons daily say, she
- 53:06Speaker 6: don't even bring that up. We don't even need to
- 53:08Speaker 6: get to what you want to study.
- 53:11Speaker 8: So now this is what I would I think elder
- 53:17Speaker 8: casey as would that be considered double dipping or moonlighting?
- 53:21Speaker 8: I guess going trying out another level coming back, I
- 53:25Speaker 8: would ask that as a school, if if part of
- 53:31Speaker 8: the money that I could offer up comes from a
- 53:34Speaker 8: tuition comes from some state subsidies, some of that might
- 53:38Speaker 8: be even government subsidies, based on how my educational system
- 53:42Speaker 8: is set up, in how I get my money at
- 53:44Speaker 8: my university, I would have to separate all of that
- 53:50Speaker 8: from anything having to do with football, correct, I mean,
- 53:53Speaker 8: because otherwise it would almost seem like just a really
- 53:58Speaker 8: great way to launder some money.
- 54:00Speaker 6: No, the only only reason you even care to try
- 54:03Speaker 6: to keep me in this envelope is to sponsor your
- 54:06Speaker 6: other sports.
- 54:09Speaker 1: College football could have broke away.
- 54:11Speaker 6: A long time, long time ago, should have got paid
- 54:14Speaker 6: a longer time ago. But you keep telling me, I
- 54:17Speaker 6: gotta pay for hotel rooms for the water polo team.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 54:22Speaker 6: So now, they've always had the ability to do what
- 54:26Speaker 6: they're doing now, but they kept their money to them
- 54:29Speaker 6: the one hundred million, two hundred million they generate, and
- 54:33Speaker 6: just paid their coaches and players.
- 54:35Speaker 3: They could have Every school could be doing.
- 54:38Speaker 6: Right, but remember a player a sports team. The Auburn
- 54:44Speaker 6: Athletic department pays Auburn my tuition, right, They're not the
- 54:53Speaker 6: same thing. So what Auburn football is telling you, we
- 54:59Speaker 6: will pay Auburn. See this is the part why, y'all.
- 55:03Speaker 6: These are the little nuggets of why they don't want
- 55:05Speaker 6: to let it go. We will pay Auburn the cost
- 55:09Speaker 6: of your scholarship. So Auburn University as a university is
- 55:14Speaker 6: not giving me a scholarship. The Auburn football team is
- 55:19Speaker 6: paying them the scholarship fee. The school feed the book fee.
- 55:28Speaker 6: That's why they would create They created our own book
- 55:32Speaker 6: library so we didn't have to go over there. They
- 55:34Speaker 6: just bought the books put them over there. Don't return
- 55:37Speaker 6: the book. We're gonna run you for nine days, lost
- 55:41Speaker 6: book seven days because that was their book. No, no,
- 55:47Speaker 6: I'm not making this up. Don't return that. Look, if
- 55:49Speaker 6: you don't want it's like you might as well have
- 55:50Speaker 6: winning punch coach. That's how they handled that book. Return
- 55:54Speaker 6: it'll be a fight, man, is that my book? And oh,
- 55:58Speaker 6: you protect that book better than you protect that football.
- 56:00Speaker 6: So they don't want the money, and so.
- 56:03Speaker 1: They want them cliques and is this sweat gonna teach
- 56:07Speaker 1: you gonna learn today that when we say return that book,
- 56:11Speaker 1: we mean return these books.
- 56:12Speaker 3: So so the football teams got a library.
- 56:16Speaker 1: And like a lot of people have been concerned that
- 56:19Speaker 1: we just keep our football money football money and then
- 56:22Speaker 1: them kids that do water polo and all the rest
- 56:25Speaker 1: of the stuff, they just figured it out high but
- 56:27Speaker 1: they figure it out. That's that's that's where we're going. Yeah,
- 56:32Speaker 1: we're already there, and we're just just lying to each other.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Beat the dead horse. We just we just it's on
- 56:38Speaker 1: life support. You know that that programs as far as
- 56:43Speaker 1: like a water polo.
- 56:45Speaker 20: The the.
- 56:49Speaker 18: Athletic department is paying for their scholarships too, But it's
- 56:52Speaker 18: just as far as whatever we can offer you to
- 56:57Speaker 18: come to our school. That's not the that's more that's
- 57:00Speaker 18: not likely going to come. Like the water polo team,
- 57:03Speaker 18: it has a million dollars.
- 57:04Speaker 1: To give somebody. It's going to be for one of
- 57:07Speaker 1: the sports that creates more revenue.
- 57:10Speaker 6: And you're speaking of unions, the women's basketball, a lot
- 57:13Speaker 6: of those are trying to unionize because they want to
- 57:16Speaker 6: just keep their money. So South Carolina basketball women's basketball
- 57:21Speaker 6: just wants to be They want to step out on
- 57:24Speaker 6: their own and whether we win or lose, we'll take
- 57:29Speaker 6: care of ourselves.
- 57:32Speaker 1: You can if you have a following, you have you
- 57:34Speaker 1: created a brand, correct, so we will see it. Can
- 57:39Speaker 1: I just think we're I think it's we're playing games,
- 57:44Speaker 1: and I.
- 57:45Speaker 8: Think the only reason the game is being played is
- 57:47Speaker 8: because they haven't found a way for people to absorb
- 57:50Speaker 8: the reality that what you feared might happen is happening.
- 57:57Speaker 8: Some of these sports are just going to disappear somebody.
- 58:00Speaker 8: Kids ain't gonna be able to go to college because
- 58:01Speaker 8: ain't gonna be no scholarship money, Ain't gonna be no
- 58:04Speaker 8: money to pay the school for their tuition. And they
- 58:08Speaker 8: want them the landscape change. They want the as we
- 58:11Speaker 8: go to Brek they want the Nick Saban regime. They
- 58:16Speaker 8: don't want them to be right. Nick Saban and all
- 58:21Speaker 8: those coaches that this is what they were talking about,
- 58:24Speaker 8: that if you do this, then you're gonna dissolve college
- 58:30Speaker 8: and the way we know it, and nobody could really understand.
- 58:34Speaker 8: It's gonna make everybody their own entity.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Should kept them brown paper bags and.
- 58:39Speaker 8: Now because I know how much we had to pay too,
- 58:42Speaker 8: and it was before before that to keep him for
- 58:48Speaker 8: four years. But just new that that boy would have
- 58:50Speaker 8: went four different places.
- 58:52Speaker 1: In Ohio state. Next year we'll be back more to
- 58:55Speaker 1: Sports Shock Show Red.
- 58:56Speaker 26: After this, we got some brands Leo West Tangle rubbing
- 59:02Speaker 26: the bank bank pull at the bank, Jim bow Away or.
- 59:08Speaker 11: Of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gandy. You're stumming
- 59:11Speaker 11: up next.
- 59:14Speaker 27: You said you'd never buy your kid candy from the
- 59:16Speaker 27: checkout aisle, or forget extra diapers, and never give into
- 59:22Speaker 27: a meltdown. You'd never lick your thumb to clean their face,
- 59:29Speaker 27: never let them have too much green time, and never
- 59:33Speaker 27: bribe them for just one more bite. You say you'd
- 59:38Speaker 27: never let them out in public without their hair brush,
- 59:42Speaker 27: never ever become a minivan, mom, and you'd never give
- 59:46Speaker 27: them your phone for a quiet.
- 59:48Speaker 28: Dinner falling boss work phone.
- 59:52Speaker 27: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 59:54Speaker 27: a hot car, no, it can happen. Cars get hot fast,
- 1:00:00Speaker 27: and kids can be at risk in temperatures as low
- 1:00:03Speaker 27: as sixty degrees fahrenheit. Never happens before you.
- 1:00:08Speaker 24: Leave the car.
- 1:00:08Speaker 27: Always stop. Look luck brought to you by Nitze and
- 1:00:12Speaker 27: the ad Council.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: Not enough, I'll why so serious and we hold the world.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Ransom for.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Excuse me while I whip this house broadcasting live and
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Atlanta to your jau This this is the sports shot ship.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: We're wagandy.
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: You may vegan make up, will.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Fight me down? Council comes to just.
- 1:00:53Speaker 13: I'm a dog.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you bi Vegan?
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: What right sports out show? I'm this shock wing Canny.
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: Good morning to you out there in listening land. Glad
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: to be here with you this morning. Big Kenny Commanchi
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: Greg Bad producer. We were talking about college sports and
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: to me, it just needs to step into the real
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: ram and basically because of the true university pay to play,
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: this is not nil money to me. Once you did that,
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: you just made it pro sports. Why the people from
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: Live Golf trying to get in Because every McDonald's needs
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: a burger King, and the PGA hasn't had a burger King.
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: And that's why they keep trying. Because everything NFL has
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: college football, NBA has college basketball, it just goes when
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: you go through it like that Indy has NASCAR. There's
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: always a competitor, and that's.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Why they try because boxers, yeah, there's that's a secondary
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: kind of has to be for the overflow or for
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: the true fanatics that can't get enough. Yeah, some people aren't.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I'm satisfied.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: That's why I can't get around to the XFL because
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: the time I watch a high school game, a college game,
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: and a pro game, man, I'm tired of football. That's
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: really why I don't really catch that. I don't want
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: to see that anymore. That's the spring I'm tired of that.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: The w NBA has has struggled in all these years
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: because n C Double A was so big. They were
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: always second to n C Double A basketball when you
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: look at the overall numbers, and it has taken some
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: big star angel rees, Caitlyn Clark, Breanna Stewart's this last
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: little regime to pull them out of name recognition, to
- 1:03:03Speaker 6: give them life.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: But they're they're trying to go off the like the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: w NBA draft is a week after the National Championship game,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: so it's like they're trying to feed off of that momentum.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: But it doesn't always work. Yeah, it really doesn't. Big Ken,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: you said we had a little tracks online. Uncle Charlie
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: had said, good lord, Michigan got beaten up for stealing
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: other teams play sign Now other teams are stealing players,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: and I'm laughing because that's steal, that old mind frame
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: stealing players.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: There is no stealing anymore. There's no loyalty. These dudes
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: are on the shelf. It's it's tampering. How are we tampering?
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: How are we tampering? Like I said, I'm an auction
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: you just highest bidder. We we out here negotiating.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Your agent called me.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: He called me and say it, I am looking for
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: a place. He didn't say was interested in y'all necessarily.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: He just said, I'm looking for another pace.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I'm just sitting.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: After four games, Bill Belichick promised that I was gonna
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: get certain amount of carries. We in the sixth game
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: and I'm still out here only getting four carriers a
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: game that.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Sounded like the guy wanting his shirt the ad they
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: promised me.
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: My agent called the adiot Syracuse and said that he
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: would literally guarantee.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: I would start and listen and let me wear number five,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and let me wear number five and again and again.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: But I mean this on me, But when you offered
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: me these things, you just only doing what you allow.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I just heard a was listening to a store with
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: out of Jerry Stackhouse, mofel. He said that schools was
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: offering him even when they were coming in him and
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Rashida when they were offered the money, but he came
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: because coach said, hey, you could get a chance to play,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: didn't offer money or anything like that. Where did the
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: mindset go that? That's where I'm already lost? Where did
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: they gold that let me let me?
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: Big Kenny has been saying this to you all, that
- 1:05:12Speaker 6: you're on an old model and Jared Houses Jared stack
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: House is saying what Jared stack House is saying because
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: he's not on today's market. North Carolina couldn't afford the
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: teams they put together back in them days. Everybody they
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: went and got was ten million dollar a year player.
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: The Kentucky's can't form those teams today. Y'all got five
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: first round picks. You know how much that costs to
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: day today to get five first round Just m was
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: that Kentucky, Michigan.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Michigan could barely afford the fab five thirty years ago.
- 1:05:56Speaker 18: To get the gotta get those We gotta get those
- 1:05:58Speaker 18: five players out the door because we got five more coming.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: And we told we promised them. Playing time hurt my
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: college college basketball, so Jared Stackhouse, Yeah, sure, it was
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: for the love of the game. It was for Auburn
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: has a new campus. They got a new weight room.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: You know, they call my name. You know, they take
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: you over there and they eat an Auburn sweatshirt and
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: they put you on the big board and they make
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: you feel like I'm.
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: Starting at left tackle. And again it's oh man, man,
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: that ain't got nothing to do with today. When the dude,
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: I didn't even know how many stacks right there at
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: my kitchen, I didn't see the wallpaper steal Dingy the
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: dog next door still barking.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: But when that man slapped that piece of paper on
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: my mama kitchen table, it made me know that this
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: kitchen table pops change today. I ain't got to wait
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: for four years to go to the NFL. Most of
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: the people that you know at their school, all that
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: wouldn't even be there in today's market.
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: You're gonna switch, that's really I mean, you're going on
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: the old model, as Big Kenny, You're trying to still
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: shuffle it through old I'm talking about the new three
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: four five million dollars a year. The quarterback from Tennessee
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: had no reason to leave this the scheme, the team,
- 1:07:26Speaker 6: and everything was behind him.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: He left purely to go to UCLA for money or
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: also the Michigan quarterback.
- 1:07:35Speaker 18: He was committed to LSU and someone from Michigan can
- 1:07:39Speaker 18: we'll give you. I went to high school.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I'm glad Jack Strand didn't take the money last year.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I went to high school with a guy played for
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: the bat and stayed draft. He played high school ball
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: in Chicago. He went to college in Illinois and got drafted.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Now from high school, there come get you from California's
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: kid that plays with mc keecher, didn't it transferred in
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: from California school. Yeah, that's been going on with football,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: football footbah blah blah, I'm saying they Yeah, that's and.
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: No, people wasn't changing states for no high school in
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: high school? Yeah you might change Excuse me.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: There's a couple of proven for basketball. They was going
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: to academies like the same academy. This boy high school
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: to high school announced he came in from California six
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: eight wide receiver. And now that you've got money like that,
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: people gonna move where the money go. I don't have
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: to wait four years to get the money anymore.
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: I can go straight from high school into being who
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: I would have been in five years anyway.
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: And they're gonna be paying high school players here in
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: a second, because you're gonna start seeing on TV. You're
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: not gonna keep putting me on TV, and I'm not
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: getting any of the TV revenue. Come, We're gonna have
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: to broke a deal, saying, so that's going to be
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: paid to play. They already letting Nike sign high school players.
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: Y'all just put like eight people in jail five years
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: ago talking about you can't do support the camp. Yeah, persons, people,
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: you can't just be out here sending people to schools
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: based on shoe deals. Now you're at signing high school players,
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: two shoe deals, and.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: And like you said, you're sitting and them guys sitting
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: in jail now looking like the jail for being a middleman,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: to jail for being middle man. Donald Trump Junior.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: And the backers I was reading of the doping Olympics
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: lost a lot of money. Then when we talked about that,
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: that event in Vegas in the hands games and enhanced
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: nobody's pockets. No enhancement of the pockets. But I'm saying
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: that that's what sports. That's why I said content. It's easy.
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: It's easy to sell the somebody here in a landa.
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: I think it's too popular, either a popular athlete and
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: a hip hop artist they.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Have is it frisbee? Somebody has like a frisbee team
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: or oh I sent the lead was a really goofy
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: sport too, and.
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: I have to go.
- 1:10:43Speaker 6: But I'm saying everybody is taking them gambled. That's something.
- 1:10:47Speaker 6: It's going to be the next pickleball.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: What was that.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Look how they're pushing flag football? Oh yeah, flag football
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: is it's already there. It's out the.
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: Because it's content. They was pushing what's the bean bad game?
- 1:11:03Speaker 6: Corn hole?
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: So right now.
- 1:11:07Speaker 6: Everybody wants to see if they can invest in something
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: that might catch on real quick.
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: Ah.
- 1:11:15Speaker 6: That's where sports is, where you take that gamble. So
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: when I was watching this, I didn't think the enhanced
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: game because it didn't interest me at all to see
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: how fast you can run drugged up.
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: That just doesn't really because I could have told you.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I could have told them, you know, they could have
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: asked me, I could a game a point of reference.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: That doesn't sound interesting, Oh, who's the fastest drugged up person?
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: Until you see And.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Then it was bad because guys who weren't drugged up
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: were winning the events exactly like you do it up.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Bro Dt Jr. And his backers took a little l
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: there on their hands game at least at that one event.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: They didn't make their money back. So we'll see if
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: they try to bring back. And I know people weren't
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: all on some more. I want to see sports be
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: conducted in a fair way. Now.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: They just had to be overcharged and that's all.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: It will be back more to sports Jock Show right
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: after this, because.
- 1:12:16Speaker 23: When you turn your hair to the side and they'll
- 1:12:18Speaker 23: get me differently.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and last night.
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: I think God lost my face.
- 1:12:28Speaker 11: Don't go awayne Boord of the sports Jock Hill with
- 1:12:30Speaker 11: Wayne Gansey is coming up next.
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: But that means that do not to stop up give
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: and when you going from I need you just, they say,
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: please don't always sing with me. So that means that
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: do not to stop. And when you're going from I
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: need you just, they say, please don't always remember this.

- 1:15:36Speaker 8: Didn't realize I didn't have any like I don't have
- 1:15:39Speaker 8: any accurate facts about wiffleball.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: But who is the ownership group? It is Julio Jones,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Nelly and Tony Robbins. Julio Jones, Nelly and Tony, Tony Robbins,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: the self empowerment guy. Yes, listen, you would imagine somebody
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: with a wiffleball team would have to be talked into
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: taking the team.
- 1:16:01Speaker 8: Hey man, I don't know, bro, you just gonna give
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: it to me, I guess. But this is a power trio.
- 1:16:09Speaker 8: Well that's that's the power trill. Two Hall of famers
- 1:16:12Speaker 8: and music. Yeah, hot in here got to be in
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: some kind of Hall of Fame because y'all played it
- 1:16:18Speaker 8: like every third song.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: When it dropped, it was hot in here. People couldn't
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: wait on to take my shirt off. And it was

- 1:17:23Speaker 1: No, they got a team in oh yeah, Arizona, Boston, Dallas,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Las Vegas.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: As I said, content, San Diego. And do you know
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: what content is?
- 1:17:34Speaker 15: Now?
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I understand content is the new wash some money. I'm
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: telling you we all got the baseball got too crowded.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: We can't we can't all keep pushing our money through baseball,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: mentioning the John Boy like warehouse, get ball in a
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I know that we need a team in the Carolina seeking.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: We need this spansion team. It's no but into Carolina.
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: First of all.
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: First of all, pors, you don't need to wash no money,
- 1:18:07Speaker 8: because if he did, I'd already know.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Already, So you said, accused of my growing up the
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: greatest falcon. It might let me tell you something. Everybody

- 1:18:28Speaker 1: want to see realized. And then somebody came along with
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: I got away. We can get into this and sometimes
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: those things.
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: Julio and Nelly are in the industries where they wouldn't
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: have to watch money. Tony Robbins is in the industry
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: where you would watch money. When you talk about speaking
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: appearances and things, that's how you wash money.

- 1:25:51Speaker 1: I just want to thank God.
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: For all the pretty woman he laughs in my life
- 1:25:58Speaker 3: on a bitius count.
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: For my family.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: Man, it's a lot of bad bads.
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: Welcome back to this what Stock show. I'm this worshock
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: wing Candy uh in his canterer Freedom was ejected last
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: night after the confrontation in the Chicago sky and he
- 1:26:29Speaker 6: and a fever game last night where Caitlyn Clark Kelsey
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: Mitchell was cooking. They might have served up a seventy
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: piece wing, Oh crispy, all flats to the sky.
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: You know how long it takes to make all flats seventy.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: Just to pick them up.
- 1:26:49Speaker 8: I'm saying that just to get you seventy flats, that's
- 1:26:53Speaker 8: a lot of work. That's a lot of what don't
- 1:26:55Speaker 8: discount the amount of work it take just to separate flats.
- 1:27:00Speaker 8: Kelsey Milcher had thirty Caitlyn Clark had thirty seven. And
- 1:27:06Speaker 8: I know, you ladies of the w NBA, that defense
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: y'all keep playing is killing you. That's why they're scoring
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: so many points. That boxing one where the person who's
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: garden Caitlyn Clark is never gonna leave her, is leaving
- 1:27:24Speaker 8: way too many holes in the defense. That's why Kelsey
- 1:27:30Speaker 8: Mitchell is cooking like she is.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Let her cook.
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: Because Caitlyn will start at the logo, her defender stops
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: right there with her and Kelsey Miltchell get that left hand,
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: she goes right to that hole like a running back
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: and nothing they can next thing, you know, she's at
- 1:27:48Speaker 6: the rim with her speed. It's like how many times
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: y'all gonna fall for that same play?
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: Obviously quite a bit.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: And we can't let Caitlyn beat us. But she is
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: beating you.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: You no, she didn't hit the point. You're creating such
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: a vacuum all that matters. She don't hit the point.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: She ain't got the stats. We ain't gonna let her
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: head still.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Now we still about I served the thirty seven. I know,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: I know Andy held her under, but this is a
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: personal victory. That's what I'm saying. It is, all of
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: these are personal victories.
- 1:28:24Speaker 8: Right now we held under forty and uh, she third
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: in the league in scoring and three there's two people
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: in front of the other person on the team with.
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: Her, but it's still two people in front of her.
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: Oh and you that's the more of what kind of
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: victory is that because it's more victory. It's a victory.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: The victory victory is.
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: But last night's Canter in the building, as you know,
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: with this transgender conversation that has just been swirling around
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: the country, and it can Tur along with Royce White,
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: said that if you're gonna start doing basically letting buy
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: logical men play, then they're going to try out for
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: the w and be a in his Canter attending the
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: game last night wearing a T shirt sitting on the
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: sideline that read woman and underneath the woman, it's aid
- 1:29:19Speaker 6: now and then it gives the definition of a woman,
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: an adult human.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: Female. And I don't know if Natasha Cloud of the
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: skuy who's been a very vocal about especially after last
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: week where a couple of games where people threw sex
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: toys once again out on the court, she was very
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: vocal of defending.
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: Other players in this situation, calling guys basically clowns. I
- 1:29:52Speaker 6: can't say most of what she said. She's not being
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: very authoritative about it. She saw in his Canter. Now,
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: there's no record that Inis Canter said anything as much
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: as it is. Maybe she just saw the T shirt.
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: Early in the week. Last week, another nb W NBA
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: player alluded that calling a woman a female was derogatory.
- 1:30:19Speaker 6: Command you, Greg, so still big Kenny bad producer? Command
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: you Greg was still in this whirl when, as I said,
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: in the same timeframe, they got a drug ring going
- 1:30:34Speaker 6: on at Penn State.
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: And I ain't judging. I ain't judging.
- 1:30:39Speaker 8: I'm just saying, I know sometimes students traffic drug I
- 1:30:43Speaker 8: just that's all I'm saying.
- 1:30:44Speaker 32: I know these students will traffic for Turney brothers. Sometimes
- 1:30:48Speaker 32: we'll conspire the traffic drugs sports Jack. That's what I've
- 1:30:52Speaker 32: grown to accept in my life experience. Yes, no coverage, No,
- 1:30:57Speaker 32: not much Coverage's college every.
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: Virginia's State gentlemen shot five people all this in the
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: same time no cover. See y'all all, look like, what
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: still are you talking about about? Virginia State?
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: He wasn't even a student.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: You talking about Virginia State, HBCU and Saint Petersburg, Virginia.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: That Virginia State. Okay, I didn't hear about that. Yeah,
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: that happened all in the last week. I don't even
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: think he was no coverage. But Enis cans are showing
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: up with a woman T shirt conversations about this subject.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Why is it so polarizing?
- 1:31:38Speaker 8: And I guess in your opinion, why is this I'm
- 1:31:41Speaker 8: going to answer the question with a question, is that
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: I and this is me being sincere. I don't know
- 1:31:48Speaker 8: what side either person is taking when they start arguing.
- 1:31:53Speaker 8: Does Enis feel like transgender females should not be able
- 1:31:58Speaker 8: to play in the w n B A so a
- 1:32:00Speaker 8: guy born a guy can't play with the females. And
- 1:32:02Speaker 8: does the female basketball player who don't want to be
- 1:32:05Speaker 8: called a female think it's okay for guys who call
- 1:32:08Speaker 8: themselves female.
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: I don't know what side you are, well, I'm not
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: sure which side the Kasha Cloud.
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: Is on that subject of her big news that she
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: was offended by people continually throwing sex toys out on
- 1:32:22Speaker 6: the court. And I don't even think that is a
- 1:32:25Speaker 6: Chicago Sky game that it happened. I think it was
- 1:32:27Speaker 6: a couple of games. I think it was the Dream Lakers,
- 1:32:30Speaker 6: not Laker Sparks, and then another game. So she wasn't
- 1:32:34Speaker 6: even definded. She's just talking about in general, howe that
- 1:32:37Speaker 6: needs to stop. But on here with the woman and
- 1:32:42Speaker 6: the noun in this, Canter just trying to, I guess,
- 1:32:47Speaker 6: do what a lot of people in the media do,
- 1:32:49Speaker 6: or a lot of people in this country when they
- 1:32:51Speaker 6: try to drive home points of emphasis. We've seen a
- 1:32:55Speaker 6: lot of creative T shirts warn this is part of
- 1:32:59Speaker 6: why the Seattle Storms owner was suspended. She got upset
- 1:33:05Speaker 6: with some people's sign that was supporting against anti or
- 1:33:11Speaker 6: on one side of the other of the transgender She
- 1:33:14Speaker 6: got upset and when he yelled at them.
- 1:33:17Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:33:18Speaker 6: And that's why I said, it seems like she just
- 1:33:19Speaker 6: reacted to the T shirt. If there's no known record
- 1:33:24Speaker 6: yet that Enix Canter Freedom said anything as much as
- 1:33:28Speaker 6: he just wore the T shirt and Natasha Cloud looked
- 1:33:33Speaker 6: at it because he was baseline and saw the shirt
- 1:33:35Speaker 6: went down towards him. And that's where we are once again.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: Well, they said that at what happened to the game,
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: was it he was cheering Sophie Cunningham too hard and
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: then well.
- 1:33:50Speaker 6: I didn't see that, and that's just another avenue of
- 1:33:53Speaker 6: social media. And that's part of why I said Bryce
- 1:33:55Speaker 6: and desh Chambeau and why he called the media mafia.
- 1:34:00Speaker 6: My bigger question with all of this, Josh Allen of
- 1:34:03Speaker 6: the Buffalo Bills wants to know why the reporter felt
- 1:34:06Speaker 6: like he needed to tell that Ed Oliver's son and
- 1:34:09Speaker 6: that's why Ed Oliver was away. Ed Oliver's two year
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: old son drowned, and Josh's saying that was none of
- 1:34:18Speaker 6: your business to tell to people.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: All of this is where is the line for the media? Now?
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: Where is the line? Because the media became what it
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: seemed big Kenny, since we've even been friends and been
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: in this show where everybody was against this whole kind
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: of hate fully oppression, but the media seems to be
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: the one who's always striking the match.
- 1:34:49Speaker 8: And then they like to stand behind the public's right
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: to know. We're just bringing you the We are only messengers,
- 1:35:04Speaker 8: but a lot of these stories don't even have to
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: be verified before they bring They'll create a story to
- 1:35:11Speaker 8: bring it to you, and they started taking liberties with
- 1:35:14Speaker 8: the information.
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: It is no longer.
- 1:35:19Speaker 8: The family would like to make a statement or this
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: happened and right now we're waiting for something. They will
- 1:35:26Speaker 8: get the information in like this reporter did it and
- 1:35:29Speaker 8: that is some super sensitive subject matter. I lost the child,
- 1:35:33Speaker 8: and before I can even alert my loved ones, you
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: at some sort of team event announcing it to people
- 1:35:42Speaker 8: who you not even part of them.
- 1:35:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I think you've released it on X where he
- 1:35:46Speaker 6: took the liberty to release it Commandchi Greg bad produce it.
- 1:35:51Speaker 6: But Kenny also was here. I think when I years
- 1:35:53Speaker 6: ago when I said how they were reporting on Cam Newton, right,
- 1:35:58Speaker 6: remember when Cam Newton got in that accident, and my
- 1:36:02Speaker 6: angle was how they decided they need to get that out.
- 1:36:07Speaker 6: Cam hadn't even gotten to that ambulance on the side
- 1:36:12Speaker 6: of the road, and they had decided that no, you
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: need to know now.
- 1:36:17Speaker 8: Y'all need to know this well, and we want to
- 1:36:20Speaker 8: be the first ones to alert you to that, no
- 1:36:23Speaker 8: matter the tragedy, no matter the consequences that surround the acts.
- 1:36:28Speaker 8: They want to make sure that the first people to
- 1:36:30Speaker 8: say there has been a tragedy involving somebody that you
- 1:36:34Speaker 8: don't know and we don't even know what's happening. We
- 1:36:37Speaker 8: just know that something me is happening. As long as
- 1:36:40Speaker 8: I'm the first to say those words, I'm satisfied with that.
- 1:36:44Speaker 8: And people will give the media a past time after
- 1:36:46Speaker 8: time for being all kinds of intrusive and overstepping and
- 1:36:52Speaker 8: all of that stuff. And we've convinced ourselves that we
- 1:36:56Speaker 8: needed to know.
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: That is the WNBA two sensitive. We'll talk about that.
- 1:37:06Speaker 6: We'll come back from break.

- 1:39:35Speaker 2: sing even very Candy.
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: Back to this boy, shock shock, this boy shock Wayne Candy.
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: We left off talking about the w n B A
- 1:39:44Speaker 6: in his Canter freedom his T shirt. I watched a
- 1:39:50Speaker 6: couple of games this weekend. As I told you, it's
- 1:39:53Speaker 6: a lot of the Fever games, regardless of who she
- 1:39:56Speaker 6: who they play. And I watch a lot of the
- 1:40:00Speaker 6: Vegas Ace and whoever they play in this game last
- 1:40:06Speaker 6: night with Fever playing the Sky being his Canter in
- 1:40:11Speaker 6: the stadium t shirt. Big argument between him and Nakasha Cloud.
- 1:40:18Speaker 6: He gets excused. I watched the game itself, Guys. Every play,
- 1:40:26Speaker 6: every call is questioned by every player, regardless of status.
- 1:40:36Speaker 6: So it's not just the Kobe Bryant, Lebron, James Michael
- 1:40:39Speaker 6: Jordan superstar. Every player right complains about every call.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: All the time. Everybody needs to go talk to the
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: referee all night long.
- 1:40:55Speaker 6: It's just every time something happened. And that's why I
- 1:40:59Speaker 6: ask you, guys, are these athletes just too sensitive. Is
- 1:41:08Speaker 6: that's what's causing all this commotion in a league that
- 1:41:15Speaker 6: has really kind of jumped into the spotlight. But it
- 1:41:19Speaker 6: seems that the things, the way they go at the commissioner,
- 1:41:25Speaker 6: everybody got somebody that wants to drag down their commissioner.
- 1:41:31Speaker 6: You don't really see that in a lot of other sports.
- 1:41:36Speaker 6: You get the one, as I said, superstars, but the
- 1:41:40Speaker 6: sixth man don't get to go make a statement about
- 1:41:45Speaker 6: the referee in the.
- 1:41:46Speaker 1: Night and see.
- 1:41:48Speaker 8: That's I think a lot of what we see in
- 1:41:53Speaker 8: sports in general. A lot of what we see societally
- 1:41:57Speaker 8: is the have your It's something they used to tell
- 1:42:01Speaker 8: us was not possible. You can't have your cake and
- 1:42:05Speaker 8: eat it too. That used to be a non starter
- 1:42:09Speaker 8: when I was growing up. We couldn't even discuss having
- 1:42:12Speaker 8: cake and eating it too. But now they start to
- 1:42:15Speaker 8: make you believe that maybe you can. Because we got
- 1:42:19Speaker 8: student athletes that we pay like pros, but they not pros.
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: They still a student athlete.
- 1:42:25Speaker 8: We got the WNBA, which w stands for Women's National
- 1:42:31Speaker 8: Basketball Association, but you can't call the women females. But
- 1:42:38Speaker 8: I can still act all sensitive and complain. Now I
- 1:42:41Speaker 8: ought to be allowed to act like a superstar, even
- 1:42:44Speaker 8: without being a superstar, because now you marginalizing me.
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: I ain't got to be Kobe Bryant to have my
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: voice hurt. You see what I'm saying.
- 1:42:51Speaker 8: We don't want it when it don't benefit us, but
- 1:42:54Speaker 8: when it does benefit us, we want the full benefit
- 1:42:57Speaker 8: of it without you ever remembering that I said one
- 1:43:02Speaker 8: thing before, and that everybody needs to just put their
- 1:43:05Speaker 8: foot down. Look, either you a man or a woman.
- 1:43:08Speaker 8: When it comes to playing in the w n b A,
- 1:43:11Speaker 8: it's stand the w again, stand a woman. So you
- 1:43:14Speaker 8: were born a dude, you can't play, And I'm sorry,
- 1:43:17Speaker 8: but you can't play. And that's just that the w
- 1:43:21Speaker 8: n b A. If you were to say women are emotional,
- 1:43:26Speaker 8: they get upset, but then when they start fighting and
- 1:43:32Speaker 8: oh it's just passionate. We're very emotional about thinks.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: When they show it. I mean, that's what I was
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: gonna say, that you there sensitive. Yeah, they're sensitive. I
- 1:43:40Speaker 1: mean they want to make a statement and show that
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: I'm the strong, independent League of women and we're doing
- 1:43:50Speaker 1: our things. But you're still at the same time you're
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: pouting like little girls, and that's not fair to your sponsor,
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: insulting to them to use how about this?
- 1:44:01Speaker 6: They're pouting like John McEnroe used to, power and now,
- 1:44:06Speaker 6: but so I'll give you, I give you a reference.
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: Now They would try and say pouting is in soult.
- 1:44:12Speaker 1: When you're acting like John McEnroe used to, How can
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: every ball not be out? John? Come on, man?
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: How come can everything every fan?
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: Oh?
- 1:44:24Speaker 6: He got on the wrong glasses off of John. The
- 1:44:29Speaker 6: whole match got something like he's irritated.
- 1:44:32Speaker 8: It's everybody else's fault. It's always somebody else's fault. So
- 1:44:36Speaker 8: when you watch these games, it's just Comanche the T shirt?
- 1:44:42Speaker 6: Why you mad? I won't want to tell them why
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: you mad? Son about enis cantonate freedom t shirt?
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: Because he is. He's just he's trolling, And honestly, I
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: just don't think he has any friends. I don't think he's.
- 1:45:01Speaker 8: Now Now you say he's trolling, and I'm his The
- 1:45:06Speaker 8: motivation is wearing the shirt, is trolling, his motivations, his
- 1:45:10Speaker 8: motivations aside, I would say I would accept that he's trolling.
- 1:45:15Speaker 8: But woman, now, adult human female. If we were to
- 1:45:20Speaker 8: go to some sort of dictionary app or to Google
- 1:45:24Speaker 8: and look up woman, it would probably give us the
- 1:45:28Speaker 8: identical if a similar if not identical, if the definitions
- 1:45:32Speaker 8: did it. So I'm saying that where he was what
- 1:45:37Speaker 8: I would say would be trolling, but it's no less true.
- 1:45:43Speaker 18: The in which he is wearing it. He is someone
- 1:45:46Speaker 18: who is saying that he identifies as a woman and
- 1:45:49Speaker 18: has declared himself eligible for the w n b A draft,
- 1:45:54Speaker 18: and like as if there's a loophole, and there's never
- 1:45:59Speaker 18: been a trans ender, uh, a transgender woman that has
- 1:46:03Speaker 18: played in the league. But just because the league is
- 1:46:06Speaker 18: not explicitly said that, no, not don't bring up Lasa Clarendon. Uh,
- 1:46:14Speaker 18: just because the league has not explicitly said uh uh
- 1:46:20Speaker 18: someone who was born female, that's like a loophole or
- 1:46:24Speaker 18: something like that. I believe that's why I'm saying the
- 1:46:26Speaker 18: context in which he wore that shirt, he is trolling,
- 1:46:31Speaker 18: and it's just to draw attention, like he's he's not
- 1:46:35Speaker 18: playing in the league next year. This is just to
- 1:46:38Speaker 18: bring attention to you. I think he would he's not
- 1:46:42Speaker 18: gonna be allowed. I'm saying he's not gonna be allowed
- 1:46:44Speaker 18: to play, but he wants.
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: But well, and we didn't think the coin right could
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: go back to college. We didn't. They didn't.
- 1:46:55Speaker 18: Yes, okay, get a court order. Yeah, let's see, let's
- 1:46:57Speaker 18: see that happen. Let's see a court like. Why you say, well,
- 1:47:02Speaker 18: because that is a biologically born female and this is
- 1:47:06Speaker 18: what I'm saying, that's that's who they are. So that's
- 1:47:09Speaker 18: that's not a someone who was born male and played
- 1:47:14Speaker 18: in w question.
- 1:47:16Speaker 8: So my question to you chromanthe greg based on the
- 1:47:19Speaker 8: words that you just shared with us as your stance
- 1:47:23Speaker 8: on it, then why don't the w n b A
- 1:47:27Speaker 8: just come out and draw the line if if what
- 1:47:31Speaker 8: you're saying, he can't play and he's a biological male
- 1:47:34Speaker 8: and we've never had this, those are what we would
- 1:47:37Speaker 8: call established the realities. So why not just saying nah, brouh,
- 1:47:42Speaker 8: I don't care that you done had the surgery.
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: You was born a dude. Why can't we say that?
- 1:47:47Speaker 1: Why can't somebody say to the female who goes that's
- 1:47:51Speaker 1: that's insulting to call me a female.
- 1:47:53Speaker 8: Well that's what biology called you. We ain't calling you nothing.
- 1:47:57Speaker 8: This is what we were being taught to address you
- 1:48:01Speaker 8: as through classes and every other socialization that we've been
- 1:48:05Speaker 8: given in life. And you're asking us to deny all
- 1:48:08Speaker 8: of that for your personal sensibilities, and that's just not reality.
- 1:48:13Speaker 1: We have stop lights because sometimes people have to cross
- 1:48:16Speaker 1: the street, and I would love to just keep going.
- 1:48:20Speaker 1: We'll be back rather after this. More to Sports Shock
- 1:48:23Speaker 1: Show top of seventeen o.
- 1:48:25Speaker 3: God is to be staying over with you know what
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: the fizes they ain't never got you knowing being mindy.

- 1:48:35Speaker 11: Wayne Gambidius coming up next.
- 1:48:39Speaker 12: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:48:42Speaker 12: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:48:45Speaker 12: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:48:49Speaker 12: life insurance.
- 1:48:50Speaker 25: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:48:51Speaker 25: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:48:54Speaker 25: forever life insurance.
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: What's the last thing on my mind? What about you?
- 1:48:57Speaker 13: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:48:59Speaker 25: I was forty with a kid in college and bills
- 1:49:01Speaker 25: piling up. I was worried how my family was survive
- 1:49:03Speaker 25: without me. That's when I'm in an appointment with the
- 1:49:05Speaker 25: insurance informant.
- 1:49:06Speaker 12: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:49:09Speaker 12: security no matter what stage of life you're in now.
- 1:49:12Speaker 25: That I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll leave
- 1:49:15Speaker 25: my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:49:16Speaker 12: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:49:19Speaker 12: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you

- 1:49:23Speaker 12: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:49:27Speaker 12: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:49:32Speaker 12: Log on today benefits dot com. That's benefits or bills
- 1:49:36Speaker 12: dot com.
- 1:49:39Speaker 35: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 1:49:41Speaker 35: using their typewriters, Why should it be any different for
- 1:49:46Speaker 35: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:49:49Speaker 35: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:49:53Speaker 35: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 1:49:56Speaker 35: phones and focus on the roads.
- 1:49:58Speaker 22: Drive safe, everybody, don't drive distracted. A message brought to
- 1:50:02Speaker 22: you by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow
- 1:50:06Speaker 22: Light and the AD Council.
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:16Speaker 3: It's time for the school board.
- 1:50:18Speaker 9: When we put a spin on life and sports and
- 1:50:21Speaker 9: how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: It may not mean nothing.
- 1:50:31Speaker 7: Any job, I understand nothing was done for me, so
- 1:50:36Speaker 7: I don't try to stop any.
- 1:50:39Speaker 20: I won't have a mine ever.
- 1:50:41Speaker 22: Mind.
- 1:50:41Speaker 1: Welcome back to this what shock show.
- 1:50:43Speaker 6: I'm this one shock Wayne Candy baby ducer trying to
- 1:50:45Speaker 6: teach me that God got Caitlin Clark and Sophie Counnyham
- 1:50:48Speaker 6: on the same team. That has nothing to do with
- 1:50:51Speaker 6: anything we're talking about. Sir, Just do want to make
- 1:50:53Speaker 6: sure you know this, and once again, can I mute
- 1:50:56Speaker 6: him one second?
- 1:50:57Speaker 1: I do want to say this.
- 1:50:59Speaker 6: This is why I tech Caitlyn Clark, because y'all just
- 1:51:03Speaker 6: be roping Caitlyn Clark in everything. Katon Clark has not
- 1:51:07Speaker 6: made a statement on any thing. She ain't told you nothing.
- 1:51:14Speaker 6: You decided she was a Republican because she went to
- 1:51:16Speaker 6: a Morgan Whalen concert. You decided this because she did
- 1:51:22Speaker 6: that her voice. She has not made one statement. She
- 1:51:26Speaker 6: didn't tell you to suspend the young lady that choked her,
- 1:51:30Speaker 6: and she did get choked. Caitlin Clark's kryptonite is Caitlyn Clark.
- 1:51:36Speaker 6: She's had so much pressure on her. Same thing with
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: anger Reath. I want to salute Angery. She had a
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: good week this week because it seemed like she finally
- 1:51:46Speaker 6: stopped trying to please everybody, and she just what we
- 1:51:49Speaker 6: talked about, gathered herself this whole week, she looked more poised,
- 1:51:54Speaker 6: like maybe that was the incident that she needed to
- 1:51:57Speaker 6: get herself, you know, completely stopped trying to satisfy, Stop
- 1:52:02Speaker 6: trying to be the Chicago Barbie. Stop trying to be
- 1:52:04Speaker 6: some kind of freedom fighter. You know what I'm gonna be,
- 1:52:07Speaker 6: Angel Reached, the basketball player. Don't build your hopes on
- 1:52:13Speaker 6: me to lead you across the Mason Dixon line. I'm
- 1:52:16Speaker 6: just gonna play basketball this week, just hooping and the
- 1:52:21Speaker 6: same thing. So that's why I'm saying we have loaded
- 1:52:25Speaker 6: on some twenty four year olds all these assumptions and
- 1:52:31Speaker 6: allegations of everything when they just trying to play basketball.
- 1:52:36Speaker 6: They haven't told you that they are some political leader.
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: They running for office. They still got actne trying to
- 1:52:44Speaker 6: figure out their skin and which hairstyle.
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: They're gonna wear going forward. But we you don't look
- 1:52:50Speaker 1: at it. They they ain't said nothing.
- 1:52:57Speaker 6: Her biggest problem is her that she's used to trying
- 1:52:59Speaker 6: to satisfy people.
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: Make every play. That's why she got so many turnovers.
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: Because her whole life has been do all the work, Caitlon,
- 1:53:11Speaker 6: so she presses things.
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: Angel Ree like she got to solve all your problems
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: just play basketball. Because we as outsiders want to institute
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: people as what they should be.
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: The same older quarterback supposed to be the leader. Why
- 1:53:30Speaker 6: who told y'all that? What if he an introvert, might
- 1:53:35Speaker 6: be like seven for the Falcons?
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: What if?
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: What if you have the quarterbacks?
- 1:53:43Speaker 6: I know an introvert say about the shyest mister turtle,
- 1:53:49Speaker 6: like we got to ask permission to come in the
- 1:53:50Speaker 6: ring in the room.
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: Yeah, but oh no, I got it. He don't lead enough,
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: Matt Ryan didn't yell at enough people. What's gotta have it?
- 1:54:04Speaker 1: Excuse me, I'm just saying that's what they expect as
- 1:54:08Speaker 1: the leader. You know, Ryan didn't tell you that. How
- 1:54:11Speaker 1: you know he don't leave. I didn't say he didn't leave.
- 1:54:14Speaker 1: I'm just saying that's what most would expect that a
- 1:54:17Speaker 1: leader is or a yeller.
- 1:54:22Speaker 3: Yes, I think those now now this is And when
- 1:54:26Speaker 3: I hear people say, well who put it there?
- 1:54:30Speaker 1: Wait and see me?
- 1:54:32Speaker 8: No, this is what I want to say, bad producer.
- 1:54:34Speaker 8: Most people who have projections like that, I blame that
- 1:54:39Speaker 8: on romanticizing leadership. Whatever you imagine leadership to be, you
- 1:54:45Speaker 8: imagine that has to be a component that comes along
- 1:54:48Speaker 8: with it. So somebody to respect you. For somebody to
- 1:54:50Speaker 8: do what it is you say, do you got to
- 1:54:52Speaker 8: be in their face screaming. But me, as a person
- 1:54:55Speaker 8: who have led many people, I never raised my voice
- 1:54:58Speaker 8: above this tone right here. Everything I say is at
- 1:55:02Speaker 8: this level.
- 1:55:02Speaker 1: Well, I guess because it works so well in the military.
- 1:55:04Speaker 21: You know.
- 1:55:05Speaker 8: Well, I'm saying, but having been in the military, my
- 1:55:09Speaker 8: biggest disdain for it. You asking me to just step
- 1:55:13Speaker 8: back an inch. You didn't have to get up in
- 1:55:15Speaker 8: my face screaming and spitting. I'm saying, come on, brother,
- 1:55:19Speaker 8: there's a better way. You could have done that, and
- 1:55:21Speaker 8: I would have done it immediately. You're screaming at me.
- 1:55:23Speaker 8: Set up a barrier between us. So I'm saying, people
- 1:55:27Speaker 8: romanticize certain things. Oh, if you want to be this,
- 1:55:30Speaker 8: you have to be that. But that's just your imagination
- 1:55:33Speaker 8: and if you once you get an opportunity, you'll develop
- 1:55:36Speaker 8: your own style.
- 1:55:38Speaker 6: Have you ever heard Caitlin Clark make a stance on anything?
- 1:55:40Speaker 6: Just make sure I got that. Any of you have
- 1:55:42Speaker 6: any any remembrance of any of.
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: That yeah, she said sometimes she feels oh yeah, because
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: I was gonna say she'd just be feeling like, you know,
- 1:55:52Speaker 1: it's the calls. She'd just be trying to make them
- 1:55:54Speaker 1: see her position when it comes to getting hugged. Texts brother.
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: That has nothing to do with best No, never, never.
- 1:56:02Speaker 1: Even in the State Farm commercial, she had no lines,
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: just shooting the basketball, just step over to the circle,
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: pretty much to the logo, to the logo from the logo.
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: So how did we get all these chaos over? Sophie
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: Conaem actually made a statement which is still confusing to
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: me how that can be polarized. You want to ask
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: the woman if she wants to play against biological men
- 1:56:26Speaker 1: and she said no, and that became mad man because
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: it's it's excluding a group that says they are marginalized.
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: I know we talked about this, and that's what I'm saying.
- 1:56:41Speaker 8: You say, you say a group that say they marginalized,
- 1:56:43Speaker 8: But you go out to the park and ain't no
- 1:56:46Speaker 8: ladies out there doing her pick up games with a
- 1:56:48Speaker 8: bunch of guys.
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: That's just the way it goes.
- 1:56:52Speaker 1: But if you see some women, no, no, there are
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: some girls who go and play and they are Caitlyn
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: Clark that can play or have grew up playing.
- 1:57:02Speaker 8: But like you said, there's no And again, a lot
- 1:57:06Speaker 8: of what I think the w NBA suffers from is
- 1:57:09Speaker 8: they're dealing with a lot of biological females who don't
- 1:57:13Speaker 8: identify themselves as women, and so they're still caught in
- 1:57:18Speaker 8: that space of wanting to be respected in a man's
- 1:57:21Speaker 8: world as a man, but follow your.
- 1:57:26Speaker 3: Agenda?
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: Yes or no?
- 1:57:28Speaker 6: Have you ever lost a friend based on a Democrat
- 1:57:32Speaker 6: or being a republic and say still claims that Doc
- 1:57:36Speaker 6: Rivers and Steve Kirk stop being her friend based on
- 1:57:43Speaker 6: her support Donald Trump? Have you ever had that happen?
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: Yes or no?
- 1:57:48Speaker 5: No?
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: Yes, uh.
- 1:57:52Speaker 3: No, okay he said they stopped being happened to.
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: You, not as yet.
- 1:58:00Speaker 6: Okay, I've had conversations where you felt like it's over.
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: It's over that person and me might not talk again
- 1:58:09Speaker 6: based on that subject. Ste No, I don't know safety okay,
- 1:58:17Speaker 6: But and it's just me.
- 1:58:19Speaker 8: It seemed like there are a lot of other reasons
- 1:58:21Speaker 8: I might not like her besides a political stand.
- 1:58:23Speaker 10: Mmm.
- 1:58:24Speaker 8: I think she's saying truthfully though, to some people will
- 1:58:27Speaker 8: that they're with you, like, yeah, she's lost friends including
- 1:58:32Speaker 8: Doc Rivers and Steve Kirk.
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: She thought she was a great reporter for ESPN. She
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: did lot.
- 1:58:38Speaker 3: I can see both sides, yes.
- 1:58:40Speaker 1: And we are in the ocean.
- 1:58:44Speaker 9: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 1:58:48Speaker 9: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports June
- 1:58:51Speaker 9: Show with Wayne.

- 1:59:42Speaker 1: replay of the show going into Ocean today.
- 1:59:49Speaker 6: It's the w NBA. Why are you're throwing the w
- 1:59:54Speaker 6: NBA in the ocean? Sports shop because they hipocrits. Y'all
- 2:00:00Speaker 6: take a stance on everything else as soon as it
- 2:00:03Speaker 6: happened outside of your leave anything in the public. Don't
- 2:00:11Speaker 6: want to go to the White House, don't want to
- 2:00:13Speaker 6: play in certain states.
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: Black lives matter.
- 2:00:20Speaker 6: But when we ask you about man and woman, you
- 2:00:26Speaker 6: tell me you'll get back with me, get back, You'll
- 2:00:31Speaker 6: get back with me on that though.
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: You're driving some of this. This is what enis can
- 2:00:38Speaker 1: to freedom. He's doing it in.
- 2:00:40Speaker 6: An opnoxious way, but he's trying to get you to
- 2:00:44Speaker 6: the clap which one is it? But since y'all don't
- 2:00:49Speaker 6: want to, y'all got to do a little pole outside
- 2:00:52Speaker 6: to figure out if this has hurt the brand or not.
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: We'll get back with you when is that gonna happen?
- 2:01:02Speaker 6: Because if something in the public happens today that the
- 2:01:05Speaker 6: league doesn't like, y'all take a stance on it, start
- 2:01:08Speaker 6: wearing T shirts, put the banners on the floor. But
- 2:01:15Speaker 6: you can't decide whether you're gonna let me in in
- 2:01:17Speaker 6: the league transgend or y'all you won't say anything, and
- 2:01:22Speaker 6: that indecision.
- 2:01:26Speaker 1: Is what you're going in the ocean for.
- 2:01:29Speaker 4: Fucked up like, have a good afternoon from the Sports
- 2:01:44Speaker 4: Shock Show.
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: Peace
