- 0:00Speaker 1: Stirring the pot one morning at a time. Welcome, Welcome
- 0:05Speaker 1: through the Alabama Show.
- 0:15Speaker 2: How did we get here? How did we get here?
- 0:18Speaker 2: I took my car. No, I'm talking about off the
- 0:24Speaker 2: air before the show just started.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I'm sitting here asking producer Blake dating advice.
- 0:30Speaker 2: How did that? What? Why am I doing this? I
- 0:33Speaker 2: think there's a lot of factors. Probably honest, I'm asking
- 0:37Speaker 2: producer Blake.
- 0:38Speaker 3: How to respond to messages. I'm like, how do I
- 0:41Speaker 3: respond to this.
- 0:42Speaker 2: To a guy?
- 0:43Speaker 3: But I don't think I need to ask you because
- 0:46Speaker 3: you're you're.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Young, and yeah, but do I not help you? Don't
- 0:50Speaker 2: even at guy taking your advice? The guy's ghost. That's
- 0:55Speaker 2: the guy's problem, not yours. You're doing good, you're miss uff.
- 0:59Speaker 4: You tell me to say I have not said anything weird,
- 1:02Speaker 4: and you you know what, that is good?
- 1:04Speaker 2: And then they're the bad people. Those are the bad guys.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Don't even blame me for that.
- 1:09Speaker 4: I help you and you're like, it is good advice,
- 1:11Speaker 4: and then the guys ruin it.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Don't put that on me. That is not my fault. Anyway.
- 1:16Speaker 3: If you need a dating coach, Producer Blake's got some
- 1:18Speaker 3: slots open.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Yeah, my availability is any time.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Message me, I'll get back to you.
- 1:23Speaker 3: He has enough room for five more people if you'd
- 1:26Speaker 3: like to call the show eight three three five oo
- 1:28Speaker 3: one And Bama cannot promise the person that you're talking
- 1:31Speaker 3: to will not ghost after you do it.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Fer Breaks, don't blame me for that. Good morning, thanks
- 1:38Speaker 2: for being here. It's what the hell headlines? What the
- 1:42Speaker 2: hell are you talking about?
- 1:43Speaker 3: On the Alabama Show, a bride got arrested for setting
- 1:49Speaker 3: a church on fire the day before she.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Was supposed to have her wedding there. Why Why was
- 1:55Speaker 2: she so angry that she had to burn down? The truth?
- 1:58Speaker 3: So apparently the bride and her family were setting up
- 2:01Speaker 3: for the ceremony at the church before and then the
- 2:04Speaker 3: church caught on fire. When investigators came to investigate, they
- 2:07Speaker 3: said the fire started under a chair using unusual items
- 2:10Speaker 3: like a tampon and some other stuff, so it was
- 2:12Speaker 3: an intentional fire, not an accidental fire.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And the reason they said her motive was.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Because she did not obtain her marriage license before she
- 2:22Speaker 3: was supposed to get married.
- 2:23Speaker 2: There's no way.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's super easy trivia with the Alabama Show Today.

- 3:10Speaker 3: be seven? Good job, Congratulations, you won, buddy.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Thank you, I needed it.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know with the Elama Show.

- 3:34Speaker 3: in the US by wallet Hub.
- 3:35Speaker 2: We're judged based.

- 3:40Speaker 3: we have one of the biggest selection events in the city,
- 3:43Speaker 3: So gop Birmingham. If you get a dog, take them
- 3:45Speaker 3: out for a walk today. There's a rumor gg Hadid
- 3:49Speaker 3: and Bradley Cooper might be secretly married because they literally
- 3:54Speaker 3: went out yesterday and they were both wearing what looks
- 3:56Speaker 3: like wedding bands on that finger. They've been dating since
- 4:00Speaker 3: twenty twenty three and they've been kind of quiet so
- 4:04Speaker 3: people think they may have secretly got married. We'll let
- 4:06Speaker 3: you know if we find out more. We finally know
- 4:09Speaker 3: the date for Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yay, it's going

- 4:29Speaker 3: back is the pumpkin cream cold brew, iced pumpkin cream Chai,
- 4:32Speaker 3: and Pumpkin spice Frappuccino.
- 4:34Speaker 2: This year. There's also going to be pecan drinks.
- 4:36Speaker 3: I may make you try one of those, and banana
- 4:38Speaker 3: bread inspired creations.
- 4:39Speaker 2: There's also a new chider which is.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Chai with the cider mixed together, and banana drinks are
- 4:45Speaker 3: going to be a new iced banana bread latte and
- 4:47Speaker 3: iced banana bread Chai, which actually sounds pretty good.
- 4:50Speaker 4: The other ones don't sound as bad as the pumpkin

- 4:58Speaker 3: you need to know. More at the alabamashow dot com.
- 5:03Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on demands free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I think my little cousin may have traumatized her two
- 5:09Speaker 3: year old yesterday.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I don't think you're four from it.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Thanks for listening to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with
- 5:16Speaker 3: producer Blake. You hear me talk a lot about my
- 5:18Speaker 3: cousin Hannah, who is the voice of she does what
- 5:22Speaker 3: the hell headlines on the show, and she has a
- 5:25Speaker 3: kid that'll be two years old this month. So she
- 5:28Speaker 3: put her in school for the very first time, and
- 5:30Speaker 3: we found out that she okie doked her. She just
- 5:33Speaker 3: like wait until she wasn't looking and then ran and
- 5:37Speaker 3: left her in the classroom.
- 5:38Speaker 2: It's so funny to hear her talk.
- 5:41Speaker 3: About that, because I'm sure there are other parents, and
- 5:44Speaker 3: so I want you if you're listening to the show,
- 5:47Speaker 3: because if you have a little kid, they'll start crying
- 5:49Speaker 3: when the parents go away, So you got to try
- 5:51Speaker 3: to sneak out when they're not looking.
- 5:52Speaker 2: If you're a parent and you've dropped your kid off
- 5:54Speaker 2: at pre.
- 5:55Speaker 3: K or kindergarten or their very first day of school?
- 5:58Speaker 2: How did it go? Did they cry? Did you have
- 5:59Speaker 2: to sneak out? Eight three thirty five I one Bama
- 6:02Speaker 2: is the number to call the show. I Love These Stories.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Eight three three five I won two two six, especially
- 6:08Speaker 3: back to school this week.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But this is my little cousin Hannah.
- 6:10Speaker 3: At the moment we were talking to her about what
- 6:13Speaker 3: happened and how.
- 6:14Speaker 5: It went, he said, come on, mommy, and I'll walked
- 6:17Speaker 5: out the door. Felt like a terrible person.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Did she cry when you left her? So strong?
- 6:22Speaker 3: Right?
- 6:23Speaker 2: And he ran now? Yes? Did you tell her she
- 6:31Speaker 2: was going to school today and talk it up?
- 6:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 6:34Speaker 3: He was up? Okay, he looks up with a smile
- 6:37Speaker 3: on her face.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Well that's great. See, you'll be fine. You can ask
- 6:40Speaker 2: the teacher how she did. But you just oki do
- 6:43Speaker 2: You're two year old?
- 6:46Speaker 5: Come on, mommy, I love you.
- 6:56Speaker 2: You'll have to day you Tuba.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I'm a show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app eight.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Three thirty five II and Bama has the number to
- 7:05Speaker 3: call the show. Did you cry when you took your
- 7:08Speaker 3: kids to school for the first time or did they.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Have a meltdown? What happened?
- 7:12Speaker 3: Because my little cousin had to sneak out after she
- 7:14Speaker 3: dropped her daughter off.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Gil, what happened when your kids went to school for
- 7:18Speaker 2: the first time?
- 7:19Speaker 6: I took my oldest one, who's home from.
- 7:21Speaker 2: College, with his younger brothers.
- 7:24Speaker 6: Okay, RJ and Jacks went with me. And when all
- 7:28Speaker 6: of the elementary teachers saw my oldest son, they all
- 7:31Speaker 6: started crying because they realized how top lies. And they
- 7:35Speaker 6: all call my youngest son Jack. They call him RJ
- 7:38Speaker 6: because they look similar in age. So they were all
- 7:41Speaker 6: crying and my son, the youngest son, gets mad when
- 7:44Speaker 6: they confuse him. He goes, my name is not RJ,
- 7:47Speaker 6: it's Jack.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Look, you know.
- 7:50Speaker 3: That's that speaks to good parenting when you're not the
- 7:54Speaker 3: one crying when your kids go off to school, it's
- 7:56Speaker 3: their teachers that are crying.
- 7:58Speaker 6: Oh yeah, And it was It was fun because he
- 8:00Speaker 6: was glad to see him and he didn't want to go.
- 8:04Speaker 6: And then when he realized that one of his teachers
- 8:07Speaker 6: was his mentor, he said, Okay, I need to go
- 8:09Speaker 6: see miss Hickson and he went with us.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I love it, Gil, Thank you for calling anytime. It's
- 8:16Speaker 2: what the hell headlines? What the hell are you talking about?
- 8:19Speaker 3: On the Alabama Show A man who won the April
- 8:24Speaker 3: Powerball jackpot got arrested for the fourth time this year.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Why he just can't stop winning these kids.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Instead of a spending spray, he went on a crime spray.
- 8:35Speaker 3: James won the one hundred and sixty seven million dollars
- 8:38Speaker 3: power ball in April. He just got arrested on Sunday
- 8:43Speaker 3: for felony domestic violence charges.
- 8:45Speaker 2: He's also had three other arrests.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Since winning just since winning since last April, including resisting
- 8:52Speaker 3: arrests and battery of an officer.
- 8:54Speaker 2: He was supposed to split.
- 8:56Speaker 3: His winnings with his mom, but I have a feeling
- 8:58Speaker 3: all of that's going to go to court and legal
- 9:01Speaker 3: fees that should.
- 9:04Speaker 1: It's three things you need to know you with the
- 9:07Speaker 1: elem Hey.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Congrats to Big Spoon Creamery. They were named one of
- 9:10Speaker 3: the best ice cream shops in the US by the
- 9:13Speaker 3: Washington Post. They were named one of the most travel
- 9:15Speaker 3: worthy ice cream places because they have.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Really cool new flavors.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Well not new flavors, but they have really cool flavors
- 9:21Speaker 3: like peach buttermilk ice cream, bourbon peach, pecan, BlackBerry cobbler.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Goat cheese, and hibiscus. You'll never find ice cream flavors
- 9:28Speaker 2: like that anywhere else.
- 9:29Speaker 3: So if you want to take a road trip Big
- 9:31Speaker 3: Spoon Creamery. It's time to start thinking about donating toys
- 9:35Speaker 3: for Christmas. The Salvation Army is already facing a toy
- 9:38Speaker 3: shortage ahead of Christmas. They don't have a lot of
- 9:40Speaker 3: toys left from last year because they increase the number
- 9:43Speaker 3: of people that they serve. So they're going to start
- 9:45Speaker 3: asking for toys starting this weekend for kids up to
- 9:49Speaker 3: twelve years old. If you don't know it to donate,
- 9:51Speaker 3: you can find a wish Liz on their website. Do

- 10:12Speaker 3: new documentary called MySpace, and they said.
- 10:15Speaker 2: We're going to relaunch.
- 10:15Speaker 3: We're just waiting for the right time to do it,
- 10:18Speaker 3: so we don't know when they'll do it. You know
- 10:20Speaker 3: who's top eight? I'm on that's still my bragging rights.

- 10:35Speaker 2: Eight shake Hick shake, chick shake it.

- 13:24Speaker 2: that might be excessive, might be there. It have happened.
- 13:29Speaker 2: It wasn't all on me. It wasn't Thanks for listening
- 13:32Speaker 2: to the Alabama Show. I'm Alabama with producer Blake. Well, okay,
- 13:36Speaker 2: what happened? Who is the man you almost injured with
- 13:38Speaker 2: his life? Okay?
- 13:39Speaker 4: So we were at church and the preacher came up
- 13:41Speaker 4: to me and pulled me the aside and said, hey,
- 13:43Speaker 4: can I trust you with something.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I said, yeah, man, what you got.
- 13:46Speaker 4: He goes, somebody's gonna fall today and I need you
- 13:49Speaker 4: to help catch him.
- 13:50Speaker 2: I said, yeah, I could do that.
- 13:53Speaker 4: Well, I was thinking it was just me, okay, but
- 13:56Speaker 4: there was a group of as he pulled. But this
- 13:59Speaker 4: dude is were ten feet in the air. Okay, we're
- 14:02Speaker 4: all right here in the picture you see. I will
- 14:05Speaker 4: post this part later. Uh is there a video?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Okay? Yeah, yeah, just ten feet up in the air.
- 14:10Speaker 2: He's on the stage and there's a group of guys.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Yeah, and he's on top of speakers as well, so
- 14:14Speaker 4: he is well above because I'm six foot tall.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Right.
- 14:17Speaker 2: That was the lesson in this for God. I'll catch you.
- 14:21Speaker 4: No, no, no, no, like trust God. But but like
- 14:24Speaker 4: there was, it's deeper than that.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I'm watching the video right now there because the guy.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Oh four, five, six, Yeah, there needed to be six
- 14:32Speaker 3: guys there.
- 14:33Speaker 2: So if you would have dropped him, he would not
- 14:36Speaker 2: have done games.
- 14:36Speaker 4: We had dropped him, his head would have hit the
- 14:38Speaker 4: ground because we're on the very end.
- 14:41Speaker 3: And so.
- 14:43Speaker 4: The man gets up and he goes, that wasn't that bad.
- 14:45Speaker 4: The preacher comes up to me later and goes, I
- 14:47Speaker 4: thought it was gonna be your fault.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I don't thought he was gonna fall because you. I wouldn't.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I wouldn't trust you to catch me in a trust ball.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I did it. I made sure it did get home.
- 14:57Speaker 2: I'm glad you did and and you are. You were great.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You're a great brother.
- 15:02Speaker 3: But if it was just you, you'd be you'd get
- 15:05Speaker 3: distracted by Fortnite.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Not what hold on?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Let me give them this video game call the show?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Eight thirty three five by one, Bama. Have you ever
- 15:13Speaker 3: had to catch somebody in a trust fall and drop them?
- 15:15Speaker 3: Or who would you not trust to catch you in
- 15:18Speaker 3: a trust fall? Eight three three five by one and
- 15:20Speaker 3: two two sixty you were.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Listening to the Alabama Show on demand?
- 15:24Speaker 3: Have you ever been dropped in a trust fall? Or
- 15:27Speaker 3: drop somebody while you were trying to catch them in
- 15:29Speaker 3: a trust fall? Eight three three five by one, Bama?
- 15:31Speaker 3: Is the number amber? Good morning? What happened?
- 15:34Speaker 5: So this is basically a trust fall. When I was
- 15:36Speaker 5: in cheerleading in high school, we used to have these
- 15:39Speaker 5: events with the football players and it was called the
- 15:42Speaker 5: powder puffle and they would be cheerleaders for a day
- 15:45Speaker 5: at this event.
- 15:45Speaker 2: We did powder puff in high school. Here too. Okay, okay, yeah,
- 15:50Speaker 2: so much a thing. Yeah.
- 15:52Speaker 5: So I had lost a lot of weight that year,
- 15:54Speaker 5: so they decided to make me a flyer, which is
- 15:56Speaker 5: basically the cheerleader that gets passed up and down.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Uh huh.
