Speaker 1: Sable advice. Hell, no, welcome to the naughty but nice.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: I'm your house drum shooter, and it is Tuesday, which
• 0:19
Speaker 1: means our dear friend Elena Dixon joins us. Hey, miss day,
• 0:23
  Speaker 1: are you there?
• 0:24
Speaker 2: I am so here and I am so glad to
• 0:27
Speaker 2: be back. I know I've been gone for a bit.
• 0:29
Speaker 1: We've got a lot of catching up to do. First
• 0:31
Speaker 1: of all, how was your magnificent trip to Australia. What
• 0:33
Speaker 1: were you doing down under?
• 0:35
Speaker 2: Well, I went down Under with my mom. It was
• 0:38
Speaker 2: a vacation we were supposed to have back in twenty twenty,
• 0:41
Speaker 2: of course got derailed by COVID, so you know, it's
• 0:44
Speaker 2: just a lifetime to venture that we were waiting for.
• 0:47
Speaker 2: And we went everywhere Royal Botanic Gardens, the Zoo, Taranga Zoo,
• 0:52
Speaker 2: we went to Darling Harbor, Chinese Garden of Friendship, fantastic,
• 0:56
Speaker 2: and we stayed at the Kempton Margots so me which
• 0:59
Speaker 2: anybody who's watched A far Guy with Ryan Garsling, we
• 1:02
Speaker 2: actually stayed on the floor where he found a certain
• 1:06
Speaker 2: body and a certain state.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: I'm going to say that it's a fantastic welcome back,
• 1:11
Speaker 1: and hi to your mommy. Let's jump into the show.
• 1:13
Speaker 1: What time is it, my friends? It is time big
• 1:16
Speaker 1: story at the top of the show. So yesterday we
• 1:18
Speaker 1: talked about this huge Vanity Fair expos It's over nine
• 1:21
Speaker 1: thousand words, Mitch Smith d and as you know as journalists,
• 1:24
Speaker 1: that's like a novel. Nine thousand words is sort of
• 1:28
Speaker 1: four chapters of a book. So it is a massive
• 1:31
Speaker 1: expos I've read it like six times, and yesterday we
• 1:34
Speaker 1: definitely brought you the highlights. However, there's one detail that
• 1:38
Speaker 1: is really sticking out, that's getting a lot of attention,
• 1:41
Speaker 1: and we want to talk about it right now. Harry
• 1:43
Speaker 1: and Meghan have been slammed as local villains by their
• 1:48
Speaker 1: Montecito neighbors. Let me explain. So Harry and Meghan are
• 1:53
Speaker 1: facing backlash from their neighbors who are calling them local
• 1:58
Speaker 1: villains since they moved into the very upscale California town
• 2:03
Speaker 1: it's very posh in twenty twenties. They've been there about
• 2:06
Speaker 1: five years now. Residents describe the Duke and the Duchess
• 2:11
Speaker 1: as the prince and the starlet. Well, if they're already
• 2:14
Speaker 1: given them nicknames, clearly he is a prince a starlet.
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: I think that's a put down they're doing that to
• 2:20
Speaker 1: be me. And what chance did they have If you
• 2:22
Speaker 1: go in to a situation and they're already calling your names,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: mis d before you do anything, you don't stand a chance.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: Now they do have some legit concerns. One is now
• 2:33
Speaker 1: the huge surge in tourist interest, So neighbors are now
• 2:39
Speaker 1: blaming all these tourists, all these people coming to see
• 2:43
Speaker 1: the house where Harry and Meghan live. They're blaming that
• 2:46
Speaker 1: on them. They're also two and this is interesting. Criticizing
• 2:51
Speaker 1: her latest business venture. We've spoken about it. It's her
• 2:55
Speaker 1: lifestyle lion, American Riviera Orchard. They're saying that she finds
• 3:01
Speaker 1: a way to monetize everything, and they don't want Montecito
• 3:08
Speaker 1: to be monetarized like that, because, if the truth be told, Misty,
• 3:11
Speaker 1: and this is actually really, really true, American Riviera is
• 3:15
Speaker 1: not a name, it's not an honor that belongs to Montecito.
• 3:20
Speaker 1: It belongs to Santa Barbara. So for a long time
• 3:23
Speaker 1: people have always called Santa Barbara Americans Riviera, not Montecito.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: So a couple of legit concerns calling the town something
• 3:33
Speaker 1: it's not given the town a name. That's up to
• 3:36
Speaker 1: her people can call their companies whatever they want. I do, though, Misty,
• 3:40
Speaker 1: I do understand that this sleepy, little, very wealthy town
• 3:46
Speaker 1: is now on the map. I've never heard of it
• 3:48
Speaker 1: before this. I knew Oprah lived there. I think Ellen
• 3:51
Speaker 1: lived there, so they certainly had big stars there. But
• 3:53
Speaker 1: Harry and Meghan really changed that.
• 3:56
  Speaker 2: Now.
• 3:56
Speaker 1: If I went to California, Missy, I've got to admit,
• 3:58
Speaker 1: I'd want to jump in a car and go and
• 4:00
Speaker 1: see Montcito. I want to take a photograph outside their house.
• 4:04
Speaker 1: I really want to see it. And so I do
• 4:06
Speaker 1: understand that. But it does feel here, at least to me, Misty,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: is if everybody is, he's piling on a little bit.
• 4:13
Speaker 2: I mean, there's so many ways you can look at this.
• 4:15
Speaker 2: First of all, I have jumped in a car and gone.
• 4:17
Speaker 1: Up to mont House.
• 4:20
Speaker 2: It's fabulous. I mean you really can't see anything because
• 4:22
Speaker 2: the houses are kind of like back but it does
• 4:25
Speaker 2: feel very like when you stop at the grocery store.
• 4:27
Speaker 2: They've got fancy jams and things like that. And maybe
• 4:31
Speaker 2: now they have American riviera. Who knows, girlfriend's got to
• 4:36
Speaker 2: make some money. Yes, the family has to make money.
• 4:38
Speaker 2: They are not getting a source of income from the
• 4:41
Speaker 2: royal family. So I mean, this is what she's deciding
• 4:44
Speaker 2: to do. She's starting her business. Obviously, we know she
• 4:46
Speaker 2: has a show coming to Netflix called With Love Meghan.
• 4:51
Speaker 2: It was supposed to come out in January. It's been
• 4:53
Speaker 2: postponed due to the LA wildfires, and I believe I
• 4:57
Speaker 2: haven't seen the show because they have not sent out screeners.
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: Hmmm, Netflix.
• 5:01
Speaker 2: But I believe it's shot at her home or near
• 5:04
Speaker 2: her home, because it's all about lifestyle and gardening, so
• 5:07
Speaker 2: it could be at our house. So that I believe
• 5:09
Speaker 2: is a legitimate kind of grievance. If there are camera
• 5:13
Speaker 2: crews and things at their home, that could be disturbing.
• 5:17
Speaker 2: But you can't blame the tourist because people are going
• 5:20
Speaker 2: to come whatever town they went to. If they went
• 5:23
Speaker 2: to Peoria, Illinois, yeah, American tourists would be showing up
• 5:27
Speaker 2: in that neighborhood. So yes, I can understand if there's
• 5:32
Speaker 2: work to be done, and it's kind of the inconvenience
• 5:34
Speaker 2: of camera crews, as I said, but you can't blame
• 5:38
Speaker 2: the tourist. And any other town would probably be like
• 5:41
Speaker 2: this is great, it's great for tourism. But Montecito has
• 5:44
  Speaker 2: all that money.
• 5:44
Speaker 1: They don't need They don't need this.
• 5:47
Speaker 2: They don't need the money.
• 5:48
Speaker 1: And that's the biggest carrier. Where I grew up in Birmingham, England. Gosh,
• 5:52
Speaker 1: they would love a royal reform, a royal to move there,
• 5:55
Speaker 1: because suddenly the town would be on the map and
• 5:58
Speaker 1: would get all the tourists and go to all that moan.
• 6:00
Speaker 1: But you're right, Montecito doesn't need money. They got plenty
• 6:04
Speaker 1: of that. I should point out to If I filmed
• 6:07
Speaker 1: a reality show in my apartment or yours, Misty, it
• 6:09
Speaker 1: would be a pain in the bottom for the building,
• 6:12
Speaker 1: because we live in small apartments in small buildings. They
• 6:16
Speaker 1: live on acus. You can drive a van full of
• 6:20
Speaker 1: cameras up their driveway, close their gate, and you'd never
• 6:24
Speaker 1: know they were there. They're not filming on the street
• 6:27
Speaker 1: in communial areas. They're not filming in my elevator or
• 6:31
Speaker 1: in my lobby. No, they live on a compound and
• 6:34
Speaker 1: so if you drive a van, a car full of
• 6:37
Speaker 1: cameras producers up that driveway, you're not making any difference.
• 6:41
Speaker 1: Nobody's looking over the fence. Let's put it like that.
• 6:44
Speaker 1: My mom and dad live so close to their neighbors.
• 6:46
Speaker 1: You can touch the house next door. Harry and Megan
• 6:49
Speaker 1: are not doing that. They can scream and show to
• 6:52
Speaker 1: make all the noise they want and it won't bother
• 6:54
Speaker 1: their neighbors because they have so much property. It feels
• 6:58
Speaker 1: here misty, as if this two one. If these two
• 7:01
Speaker 1: want to do well, and everything they touch doesn't quite
• 7:06
Speaker 1: make it, I think many better people around them. The
• 7:09
Speaker 1: most interesting part of the Vanity Fair expose to me, mister,
• 7:14
Speaker 1: was not necessarily the nitpicking, the little details, but big
• 7:18
Speaker 1: picture here. They haven't yet figured out who they are
• 7:22
Speaker 1: without the royal family. In fact, somebody said in the story,
• 7:25
Speaker 1: and it stopped me in my tracks. What they are
• 7:28
Speaker 1: running away from is the reason they are interesting. So
• 7:32
Speaker 1: we only care about them because of the family that
• 7:36
Speaker 1: Harry was born into, the family that she married into.
• 7:39
Speaker 1: They've not yet figured out the next step. Who are
• 7:42
Speaker 1: they without the royals. I'd have a rule if I
• 7:44
Speaker 1: was Harry and Meghan, We're never gonna say the R
• 7:46
Speaker 1: word ever again. We're done now, it's about us two
• 7:50
Speaker 1: moving forward. We're not this Duke and the duchess anymore.
• 7:53
Speaker 1: Were Harry and will Meghan? And let's move on?
• 7:56
Speaker 2: Well, I do have to point this out. So she
• 7:58
Speaker 2: does have this new Netflix show with Love Megan, and
• 8:01
Speaker 2: she is trying to be what she was before she
• 8:03
Speaker 2: had that website called the Tig. She's very interested in lifestyle,
• 8:08
Speaker 2: and when the trailer came out, a lot of people said, oh,
• 8:11
Speaker 2: she's entitled. She should be doing social causes because of
• 8:15
Speaker 2: the power that she has now if they're trying to
• 8:18
Speaker 2: step away from being like where the royals were, part
• 8:20
Speaker 2: of our job is social causes. You can't blame her
• 8:23
Speaker 2: when she says, well, I'm doing a lifestyle show, and
• 8:26
Speaker 2: for me personally as a black woman saying, oh, she's
• 8:29
Speaker 2: doing a show about joy and happiness, well why not?
• 8:34
Speaker 1: Why we need it.
• 8:36
Speaker 2: In society where you just have joy and happiness. And yes,
• 8:39
Speaker 2: maybe she may be you know, packaging jams and we
• 8:42
Speaker 2: don't have time for that, but we watch it and
• 8:46
Speaker 2: it gives us an escape, you know, just like Martha Stewart.
• 8:49
Speaker 2: So I think she's trying or they are trying to
• 8:53
Speaker 2: move away, but people don't allow them to. So they'll
• 8:56
  Speaker 2: figure it out.
• 8:57
Speaker 1: They'll figure it out. That the transition's always the hardest
• 8:59
Speaker 1: part in life. When I transitioned from being a publicist
• 9:02
Speaker 1: to an editor to a reporter for six months. It
• 9:05
Speaker 1: was really rough and a lot of people look down there,
• 9:07
Speaker 1: nos at me. I worked with you at the time, Misty,
• 9:09
Speaker 1: and everybody in the office was like, oh, this publicist
• 9:12
Speaker 1: is here, what does he know about magazines? You have
• 9:14
Speaker 1: to prove yourself. Gwenneth Peltrow. When she started Goop, we
• 9:17
Speaker 1: all rolled our eyes. And now it's really really successful.
• 9:20
Speaker 1: So the transition is very, very difficult. Arianna Grande, when
• 9:23
Speaker 1: she went into movies, nobody thought she should do well.
• 9:26
Speaker 1: In Wicked, she's great, and so I think the goal here, mister,
• 9:31
Speaker 1: if you're listening, Megan and lahlahlahlahlah, Meghan, do the work,
• 9:34
Speaker 1: do good work, and keep doing it every single day,
• 9:37
Speaker 1: and we will catch up to you. We will get
• 9:40
Speaker 1: used to this. When you see somebody in a new role,
• 9:43
Speaker 1: whether it be a friend or a celebrity, a family member,
• 9:46
Speaker 1: at first it's a little bit jarring. You're like, well,
• 9:49
Speaker 1: I didn't know they could do that. Well, yes, actually
• 9:53
Speaker 1: they can. Luan when she started singing on The Housewives,
• 9:56
Speaker 1: we all made fun of her. Now she's selling out
• 9:58
Speaker 1: quite big venues as a So if you want to
• 10:01
Speaker 1: do it, Megan, you do it, and I promise you.
• 10:04
Speaker 1: Eventually the public will catch up, which brings us to
• 10:08
Speaker 1: our whole question of the day. Prince Harry and Megan
• 10:11
Speaker 1: Morkel are getting slammed as local villains by their neighbors.
• 10:15
Speaker 1: Our questions quite simple, are we just all piling on?
• 10:19
Speaker 1: Are we just piling on? Is it time to just
• 10:23
Speaker 1: give these two a little bit of time, a moment,
• 10:27
Speaker 1: let them figure it out, figure out who they are,
• 10:30
Speaker 1: what they're going to do next. I wish her show
• 10:32
Speaker 1: had debuted, miss D. It's been pushed back, as you said,
• 10:35
Speaker 1: a couple of months, because the sooner she does this,
• 10:37
Speaker 1: the sooner we can we can figure it out. The
• 10:40
Speaker 1: sooner we can move on, the sooner she can move on.
• 10:42
Speaker 1: So I'm looking forward to the show. I'm wishing them
• 10:44
Speaker 1: the best. But our question of the day is are
• 10:46
Speaker 1: we just all piling on? Hey? Go vote on our
• 10:50
Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob our facebook pages, Naddy
• 10:53
Speaker 1: goz him and if she were to check out to
• 10:55
Speaker 1: about to hear your results, Hey, miss D, what are
• 10:58
Speaker 1: you working on? Well?
• 11:00
Speaker 2: Harry Underwood actually delivered an unexpected a cappella renditions of
• 11:05
Speaker 2: America The Beautiful yesterday after an audio malfunction. So now
• 11:09
Speaker 2: the country superstar was slated to sing the tune alongside
• 11:13
Speaker 2: the Armed Forces and the United States Naval Academy Glee
• 11:16
Speaker 2: Club inside the Capital Rotunda. However, the sound system failed,
• 11:21
Speaker 2: so she said, hey, people, help me out here, before
• 11:25
Speaker 2: launching into an a cappella version. Now, Carrie's decision to
• 11:30
Speaker 2: perform at the inauguration has sparked heated to me among
• 11:35
Speaker 2: the political circles and commentators. While some applauded her commitment
• 11:40
Speaker 2: to the occasion, others have criticized her participation. But a
• 11:45
Speaker 2: surprising person has come to her defense, and that's none
• 11:49
Speaker 2: other than Whoopi Goldberg. She said, we know where how
• 11:52
Speaker 2: she feels. But anyway, she said, she has publicly defended
• 11:56
Speaker 2: the singer, emphasizing the importance of respecting our choices.
• 12:02
Speaker 1: What do you think, Rob, You respect everybody's choices, my friends,
• 12:05
Speaker 1: It's as easy as that. But I do think that
• 12:07
Speaker 1: this is such a massive moment. Millions of people have watching,
• 12:10
Speaker 1: and what happens she sound system breaks? I can't imagine it.
• 12:12
Speaker 1: Can you imagine? Two minutes a second before she was
• 12:15
Speaker 1: going to go live, somebody went over to her and
• 12:18
Speaker 1: said the sound's not working. And she said, I've got
• 12:21
Speaker 1: the videomestry. I've watched it five times. She said, I
• 12:24
Speaker 1: can just sing it. I'll just sing it. And then
• 12:27
Speaker 1: I thought she was so gracious how she asked all
• 12:30
Speaker 1: the dignitaries, all the VIPs assembled, all the business people assembled,
• 12:34
Speaker 1: to sing along to help her out. She handled it
• 12:37
Speaker 1: like a pro. Whether or not you like the fact
• 12:39
Speaker 1: she was there, I'm not touching that, but what I
• 12:41
Speaker 1: am gonna say is when the pressure's on, when something
• 12:44
Speaker 1: like that happens. And once again, this was not at
• 12:46
Speaker 1: one of her shows. This was not in front of
• 12:49
Speaker 1: an audience that adores her. This was in front of
• 12:51
Speaker 1: a different audience for her, and it must have been
• 12:55
Speaker 1: terrifying for somebody to come over and say it ain't working,
• 12:58
Speaker 1: the sound ain't working. What's she going to just sit
• 13:01
Speaker 1: down and say, well then we're gonna pass, or I'll
• 13:03
Speaker 1: wait till it is fixed, or is she gonna jump
• 13:05
Speaker 1: up which she did do and just sing it. That
• 13:08
Speaker 1: girl can sing, Okay. Moving forward, Bradley Cooper and Gigi
• 13:12
Speaker 1: Hadid's daughters have bonded, so Bradley has a seven year
• 13:15
Speaker 1: old daughter, Leah and Gigi has a four year old daughter, Kai,
• 13:21
Speaker 1: and now sources are telling People Magazine quote their daughters
• 13:24
Speaker 1: spend time together. It's very very sweet. They are prioritizing
• 13:28
Speaker 1: their relationship and their daughters. This is adorable. Misty. I
• 13:32
Speaker 1: do like the fact that it's not just about you.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: If you've got children, if you've got a family, we
• 13:38
Speaker 1: all have. When you get into a relationship, Misty, you
• 13:41
Speaker 1: have to think about that a little. I know, when
• 13:43
Speaker 1: you meet somebody, if you meet a nice guy, you think,
• 13:46
Speaker 1: how is this gonna work with my family? How is
• 13:48
Speaker 1: this gonna fit with my mom, my sister, my nephews.
• 13:51
Speaker 1: I think it's a decision we all make.
• 13:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, when I start dating somebody, it's kind of the
• 13:57
Speaker 2: first thing I say. I say, Okay, I got a family,
• 14:00
Speaker 2: and they're like, of course. I'm like, no, you have
• 14:01
Speaker 2: to understand my family going to be up in your business, Okay.
• 14:06
Speaker 2: So I just want you to be prepared. So I
• 14:10
Speaker 2: haven't had to tell anybody that speech lately, but hopefully
• 14:14
Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five that'll change. Hello, if anybody's out
• 14:17
Speaker 2: there man in New York City, feel free to let
• 14:21
Speaker 2: me know. But I love that the girls are playing
• 14:24
Speaker 2: and of course, it is a little scary when you
• 14:27
Speaker 2: bring your children together, because you know, I'm hoping this
• 14:29
Speaker 2: relationship lasts for a long time, because we've seen when
• 14:33
Speaker 2: when celebrities get together and then they split. Actually, we've
• 14:37
Speaker 2: seen celebrities really make an effort to still allow their
• 14:40
Speaker 2: children to interact. And I think that's a beautiful thing,
• 14:43
Speaker 2: because there's no reason their relationship should end just because
• 14:46
  Speaker 2: yours did.
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. It's difficult, isn't it. Jennifer Lope hasn't
• 14:49
Speaker 1: been Affleck have done a really good job of kids.
• 14:52
Speaker 1: Are still friends with his kids, vice versa. It's about
• 14:55
Speaker 1: the kids here. I love this story. I like that
• 14:58
Speaker 1: they're becoming friends. I do adore Bradley and Gigi as
• 15:03
Speaker 1: a couple. Hey, we're going to take a quick break
• 15:05
Speaker 1: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
• 15:10
Speaker 1: Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host on Shooter with
• 15:12
Speaker 1: our dear friend mister. Hey, mister, let's get to the polls.
• 15:17
Speaker 1: Thank you, darling. Last year, we talked about Meghan Markle's
• 15:20
Speaker 1: team reportedly shopped around a post divorced book. You heard
• 15:25
Speaker 1: that right, So Vanity Fair claims that her team was
• 15:28
Speaker 1: shopping around to publish as a book about life after Harry.
• 15:33
Speaker 1: I questions very simple, do you believe it? Now? Once
• 15:37
Speaker 1: again I should point out nobody's saying Meghan did this.
• 15:41
Speaker 1: They're saying her team, and often people that work for
• 15:44
Speaker 1: you work around you. They get a few steps ahead
• 15:48
Speaker 1: of themselves, and they get a little bit over ambitious,
• 15:51
Speaker 1: and they want to make calls and pitches that they
• 15:54
Speaker 1: probably shouldn't. So do you think it happened? Let's have
• 15:57
Speaker 1: a look. Oh? Seventy percent said yes. I think think
• 16:00
Speaker 1: so too, Misty, because Vanity Fair is an extraordinary outlet.
• 16:04
Speaker 1: They really are very very good reporters mystery, and I
• 16:07
Speaker 1: know their legal process. They couldn't write that unless they
• 16:11
Speaker 1: had a really solid source to back it up. So
• 16:14
Speaker 1: I do think we should be careful here. Meghan did
• 16:17
Speaker 1: not do this. It absolutely was not Meghan. My sources
• 16:21
Speaker 1: tell me she didn't even know this happened until she
• 16:24
Speaker 1: read the Vanity first, or which she knows she did.
• 16:26
Speaker 1: I'd rush to that new stand, wouldn't you first thing?
• 16:30
Speaker 1: The minute I said, Mystery, come over, let's meet at Bottinas,
• 16:33
Speaker 1: We'll go to battinaz and we'll read the story. If
• 16:35
Speaker 1: you're on the cover, to cover of Vanity Fair Misty
• 16:37
Speaker 1: how many cop wo'd buy ten copies? I know, we
• 16:41
Speaker 1: know she read it. We know she read it. But
• 16:42
Speaker 1: I'm with you, Naughty's here. I do think it happened.
• 16:45
Speaker 1: I just don't think she did it. Don't forget to
• 16:47
Speaker 1: vote on today's Paul got a Twitter page at Naughty nine,
• 16:50
Speaker 1: orb at Facebook pages Naughty Gossip and be sure to
• 16:53
Speaker 1: check back down our row to hear your results are
• 16:55
Speaker 1: Now it's time for a nice say of the day.
• 17:00
Speaker 2: Oh well, our nicest of the day is Romy Malloch.
• 17:03
Speaker 2: He's offering a rare glimpse into his relationship with Emma Corn,
• 17:08
Speaker 2: who uses they them pronouns. In a candid interview, he
• 17:12
Speaker 2: described Emma as fascinating, adding a personal touch by referring
• 17:16
Speaker 2: to them as em and my partner. We like quirky,
• 17:20
Speaker 2: he said warmly so. The couple first confirmed their relationship
• 17:24
Speaker 2: in September twenty twenty three after being spotted kissing in London.
• 17:28
Speaker 2: Two weeks later, they were seen holding hands leaving a
• 17:31
Speaker 2: Paris Fashion Week after party, and that self solidified their
• 17:35
Speaker 2: status as one of Hollywood's most intriguing pairs. Why Emma
• 17:39
Speaker 2: has never publicly commented on their relationship. Romy's rare words
• 17:44
Speaker 2: about his partner speak volumes.
• 17:47
Speaker 1: I like you, I really do like it. They are quirky,
• 17:51
  Speaker 1: That's what he said. And I agree, they're adorable. I've
• 17:54
Speaker 1: met him, miss Day. He's a very, very unusually attractive man.
• 18:00
Speaker 1: He's not pretty like a Brad Pitt pretty, you know,
• 18:02
Speaker 1: like some boys you meet, the Hemsworth boys. I remember
• 18:04
Speaker 1: when you met one of those Hamsworth or you took
• 18:06
Speaker 1: a picture and you sent it to me. He's delicious.
• 18:09
Speaker 1: I think guy like Rammy even more. He's so quirky
• 18:13
Speaker 1: and so adorable. Congratulations and I love that. This is
• 18:17
Speaker 1: a rare insight mystery. He never rever rever talks about
• 18:21
Speaker 1: this relationship and nicest of the day, and am I not.
• 18:23
Speaker 1: He's the day naughty, naughty, naughty. It's Craig Melvin, who
• 18:26
Speaker 1: I actually really do like. I know him a little bit.
• 18:29
Speaker 1: He thought Hoder was being forced out for eight million
• 18:33
Speaker 1: dollar jobs, so he really as that early in the
• 18:36
Speaker 1: morning they were backstage. His dressing room is on the
• 18:38
Speaker 1: same floor. It's up on the second floor and he's
• 18:41
Speaker 1: just about two doors down. So they all have there's
• 18:43
Speaker 1: like four or five dressing rooms up their Savannah ol Hoder,
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: I've been into Holder's dress room. I've been to Savannah's,
• 18:49
Speaker 1: I've been in els. It's lovely up there. So Holda
• 18:51
Speaker 1: knocked on his door before the show and said, I'm leaving.
• 18:54
Speaker 1: And he was like, oh my god, are you getting
• 18:55
Speaker 1: pushed out? Are you okay? Are you sick? And she
• 18:58
Speaker 1: was like, no, no, no, I'm ready to leave and
• 19:00
Speaker 1: said I just couldn't believe it, because nobody leaves a
• 19:02
Speaker 1: job like that. That is the peak of your broadcasting career.
• 19:06
Speaker 1: It doesn't get any bigger than hosting the Today Show.
• 19:09
Speaker 1: And he said it took him a minute, and even
• 19:11
Speaker 1: then he didn't quite believe it. And Holder said, no, no, no,
• 19:14
Speaker 1: it's legit, Craig, I am leaving. Hey, this is an
• 19:18
Speaker 1: example where you should listen to people when they tell
• 19:20
Speaker 1: you stuff. Just because you don't believe it, don't mean
• 19:22
Speaker 1: it ain't rup hold leave in, I shake and pushed out.
• 19:25
Speaker 1: They'd love Holder to stay, Craig. I know you think
• 19:28
Speaker 1: it's flattering to say this, but it's actually quite rude.
• 19:30
Speaker 1: It's quite insulting. It's almost like doubting Holder's decision, saying
• 19:35
Speaker 1: because I wouldn't make that decision. You can't stop injecting
• 19:39
Speaker 1: yourself into other people's business. I do this all the time, mister.
• 19:43
Speaker 1: I don't listen to what you want. I project what
• 19:46
Speaker 1: I want onto you and then I make you feel
• 19:49
Speaker 1: foolish if you don't agree with me. Stop it. Everybody
• 19:52
Speaker 1: has different things they want to do, different taste, different styles.
• 19:57
Speaker 1: Lean into that, Lean into that, and notice the let's
• 20:00
Speaker 1: end with the moment of biggest risk is not taking
• 20:05
Speaker 1: any risk. The only strategy that is guaranteed to fail
• 20:11
Speaker 1: is not taking any risks. Take a risk, a smart risk.
• 20:14
Speaker 1: Don't jump off a cliff, but take a smart risk. Hey,
• 20:18
Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
• 20:21
Speaker 1: So they're not even nice with Robin miss d Show.
• 20:22
Speaker 1: It's good to have your bang. We're a production of iHeartRadio.
• 20:26
Speaker 1: Do you forget a subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple
• 20:29

• 20:35
Speaker 1: you're going going to be you take care of everybody.
• 20:43
Speaker 1: It's not even nice with Rob
