- 0:08Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I want to hunt. I want it back.

- 0:12Speaker 3: Yep, I've seen him again. Actually I wanted in New
- 0:15Speaker 3: York's in New York.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I want Oh. I mean, this is just the thing
- 0:19Speaker 1: you do anytime this guy?
- 0:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we uh as the tails. Yeah.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Would you say in general you're a gambling man?
- 0:27Speaker 2: Uh?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Kind of? Sort of kind of. I would say it
- 0:31Speaker 3: sounds like you are. Yeah, Like I give me a
- 0:33Speaker 3: good gamble on.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Every now when you go to the casino, is it
- 0:36Speaker 1: like bet some money on ship? But like if you're
- 0:38Speaker 1: in Vegas, do you like hit the tables?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Yeah, just for fun for real. But like I prefer
- 0:43Speaker 2: shooting dice.
- 0:45Speaker 1: So you'll play dice with the hommies. Have you ever
- 0:47Speaker 1: caught somebody with's some fake dice? Oh yeah, niggas play
- 0:50Speaker 1: with fake dice, loaded dice all the time.
- 0:51Speaker 2: You just got to catch them, get up on it.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Like I haven't me personally, I've never lost to fake dice,
- 0:56Speaker 3: but I've seen I've seen people.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You've seen people. Have you ever done the thing where
- 1:02Speaker 1: they have the plate with the little caps and they're
- 1:05Speaker 1: moving around and.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I got Yeah. I lost to that before when I
- 1:09Speaker 3: didn't know nothing about it. I lost like like a
- 1:13Speaker 3: thousand and two thousand or something like that in Miami Crazy.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I don't know what they do. Those people are gypsies.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't. You can't. It's impossible to win against them.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Yeah. No, it's like they and then they have a dude.
- 1:24Speaker 1: It's like in the crew.
- 1:26Speaker 2: That's gambling and you win, it's before you yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yep, yep, yep, yep, and they're all ship I got this,
- 1:30Speaker 1: yeah yeah, they're all splitting up there.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah, for sure.
- 1:33Speaker 3: I didn't seen it plenty of times. Like I'm super
- 1:36Speaker 3: hip to it now though, for sure.
- 1:37Speaker 1: What's what's new with you?
- 1:38Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:38Speaker 1: Obviously the new single has been out for a while,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and I know you guys are trying to take it
- 1:42Speaker 1: to radio. Ship, But what's what's what's on the way,
- 1:43Speaker 1: What's what's going on with you?
- 1:45Speaker 3: I'm working on my album right now, bro. Love heard
- 1:47Speaker 3: the album. The music is incredible, man, Just trying to,
- 1:52Speaker 3: you know, put it together and tell a story or
- 1:55Speaker 3: really me, like I can't really stress enough just closing
- 1:59Speaker 3: that that chap, that little herb chapter and growing into
- 2:02Speaker 3: you know, me being thirty year old.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Man, that's been doing it for quite some time now,
- 2:07Speaker 3: and you know what I'm saying, trying to tell that
- 2:09Speaker 3: story of you know, where I come from and what
- 2:14Speaker 3: it took me to get here. You know what I'm saying,
- 2:15Speaker 3: because it's all documented, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So your whole life's been pretty pretty it's all documented.
- 2:22Speaker 3: So it's really me trying to trying to tell that
- 2:24Speaker 3: story to you know, the people who don't know it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Right what I'm saying. So for you, is this project
- 2:30Speaker 1: more like like is it like are you talking to
- 2:35Speaker 1: your younger self how you're closing the chapter? Is it?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Are you making music that people can maybe like associate
- 2:41Speaker 1: with that era of your career?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Definitely, yeah, I'm making music that people could associate with
- 2:45Speaker 3: that era, the era of my career one and really
- 2:49Speaker 3: just you know, closing that chapter because it's growing, The
- 2:52Speaker 3: music is growing, and I'm growing as a person, as
- 2:54Speaker 3: a man, as an artist, So it's it's transcending transcending
- 2:59Speaker 3: into you know what I am now, you know what
- 3:01Speaker 3: I'm saying, So.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You feel like any sort of sadness like leaving that
- 3:04Speaker 1: kind of all right, this shit's.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Over, yeah in a way, you know.
- 3:07Speaker 3: And it's a lot of emotion and vulnerability into the
- 3:11Speaker 3: project that I'm putting in, you know what I'm saying.
- 3:13Speaker 3: So like that's really what it is for real, Like
- 3:17Speaker 3: what I when when I say closing that chapter, it's
- 3:20Speaker 3: really just open and growing into a new chapter right right.
- 3:23Speaker 1: For sure, I was talking with that. I just talked
- 3:26Speaker 1: to Joey Badass in New York a few days ago.
- 3:28Speaker 1: We had an interview and he was talking because you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: he came in the game of he was seventeen. He
- 3:33Speaker 1: was saying initially when he first got in, like some
- 3:35Speaker 1: of the things he regretted was, he said, he was
- 3:38Speaker 1: kind of moving with like survivor's skilled essentially, like and
- 3:41Speaker 1: making sure no matter what he did, he wasn't going
- 3:45Speaker 1: to go nowhere unless everybody could come with it. We
- 3:47Speaker 1: tend to do that a lot. It was just like,
- 3:49Speaker 1: you know, I fucked myself out of some rooms that
- 3:52Speaker 1: I probably should have been in because you know, I
- 3:53Speaker 1: didn't understand the invite was for me, not me and
- 3:55Speaker 1: everybody exactly. Did you go through that same shit?
- 3:58Speaker 2: I definitely did.
- 3:59Speaker 3: And you know, I've seen I've seen Joey's whole career,
- 4:02Speaker 3: you know, because me and him were both with Cinematic
- 4:05Speaker 3: at the same time.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You guys are both thirty. Yeah, yeah's age, Yeah, for sure,
- 4:10Speaker 1: very much.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Peers, Yeah, we definitely that's my brother man, you know,
- 4:13Speaker 3: me and me and Joey, I would like to say,
- 4:15Speaker 3: you know, we came up around the same time and
- 4:18Speaker 3: together and Peers, you know, being friends and homies and
- 4:22Speaker 3: me seeing you know, when I came to Cinematic, he
- 4:24Speaker 3: was already very successful, you know what I'm saying. So
- 4:27Speaker 3: I had seen, like, you know, how he moved and
- 4:30Speaker 3: stuff like that, and he definitely he was definitely one
- 4:32Speaker 3: of those guys that kept the homies with him and
- 4:34Speaker 3: made sure whatever he did at the moment, he shed.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Light on them, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:39Speaker 3: And I was one of those artists as well, Like
- 4:43Speaker 3: I probably feel like I definitely, you know, cut myself
- 4:46Speaker 3: short when it came to being in certain environments and
- 4:49Speaker 3: being around certain things because I'm worried about you know,
- 4:51Speaker 3: everybody around me and had certain decisions would affect other people.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So I was moving with survivor's guilt as well, and
- 4:57Speaker 3: even to a point where it's like I didn't treat
- 5:00Speaker 3: myself like handle myself and carry myself the way I
- 5:03Speaker 3: was supposed to carry it because I'm worried about certain
- 5:06Speaker 3: things that I would do that would affect other people.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You know, So when you come from a.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Background like that, you know what I'm saying, where you know,
- 5:13Speaker 3: everything so close knitted and poverty struck, and where we
- 5:18Speaker 3: got that mentality all let's stick together, everybody, let's stick together,
- 5:22Speaker 3: and if I'm the one I'm gonna save, I'm gonna
- 5:24Speaker 3: get all of us out of it. But it got
- 5:26Speaker 3: to be more so a group effort. It got to
- 5:28Speaker 3: be more of a group thing than just one person.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Everybody got to be trying to build and work towards something.
- 5:32Speaker 3: That's the only way that you can do it as
- 5:34Speaker 3: a collective.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Did you ever have like, you know, we all dealt
- 5:37Speaker 1: with peer pressure, but I feel like you've been on this,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you know, growth trajectory for so long emotionally, you know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: mature wise, all that good shit. Did you ever have
- 5:47Speaker 1: peer pressure to like maybe be a little embarrassed that
- 5:51Speaker 1: you were kind of outgrowing some of the homies. Yeah,
- 5:53Speaker 1: where they were.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Yeah, that's yeah, Like that's what I mean by like
- 5:55Speaker 3: how I carry myself, Like certain things I wouldn't do,
- 5:59Speaker 3: certain things I wouldn't by I wouldn't show. You know
- 6:01Speaker 3: what I'm saying that that probably would have been helpful
- 6:04Speaker 3: towards my career because I'm thinking about, you know, the
- 6:07Speaker 3: jealousy that might come with it and people feeling left
- 6:10Speaker 3: out and feeling like.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Oh, you did this, you got this, you could be
- 6:12Speaker 2: able to.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Do this for me, you know what I'm saying, So
- 6:14Speaker 3: like crazy, Yeah, I definitely dealt with that a lot
- 6:16Speaker 3: growing up, but I've grown out of it, like all
- 6:19Speaker 3: the way, you know what I'm saying.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I think it's the most amount of jeworry I've seen
- 6:22Speaker 1: you within an interview that we've done. At least, I
- 6:24Speaker 1: feel like usually you're just bare neck. Yeah yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 3: The last Yeah, the last couple, I definitely came in
- 6:30Speaker 3: just just chilling for really. I still kept it like
- 6:33Speaker 3: today though, like even with the little three chains is
- 6:36Speaker 3: light but heavy, so it doesn't look very light.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, it's light heavy. It's the light heavy set.
- 6:43Speaker 1: How far along are you with this album?
- 6:47Speaker 3: I really feel like I'm at the finish line, like
- 6:49Speaker 3: I'm if I was to say, I'm probably about eighty
- 6:52Speaker 3: eighty five percent done with the music, and I want
- 6:56Speaker 3: to close it out.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I want to close it out and turn my album.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Man in Chicago, so to go to It's the studio
- 7:02Speaker 3: where I first recorded my first big records in Chicago's
- 7:06Speaker 3: where I started off at and I just want to
- 7:08Speaker 3: get the energy of that room. So I want to
- 7:10Speaker 3: go in there to put their final touches together in
- 7:14Speaker 3: that room, and I feel like it'll be like some
- 7:16Speaker 3: real nostalgic for me and especially I just want to
- 7:18Speaker 3: see like maybe if I record some music they're cool,
- 7:22Speaker 3: but if not, just really just getting the feel for
- 7:24Speaker 3: it and turning it in in that environment for real.
- 7:27Speaker 2: So it's like I'm super excited to do that. I'm
- 7:29Speaker 2: not gonna lie.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Are you. Are there any features that are feeling nostalgic
- 7:33Speaker 1: for that kind of period of your career as well? Yeah?
- 7:36Speaker 3: In a way, Uh, the Juice World record, you feel,
- 7:40Speaker 3: I'm saying like it's of course, you know, Juice World
- 7:43Speaker 3: didn't start my career off, but he played a significant
- 7:46Speaker 3: role in where my career took off and with his
- 7:49Speaker 3: career and how we did a lot of stuff together.
- 7:53Speaker 3: And you know what I'm saying, and both of us
- 7:54Speaker 3: being from Chicago, of course you feel I'm saying.
- 7:56Speaker 2: So that's one of the future kids.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Got to have the most released amount of vocals of
- 8:01Speaker 1: any rapper ever juice right, it's like him in two.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, he jews got enough music. Man, he probably
- 8:08Speaker 3: could drop for the next five teen years for real.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Well when you would just like see like him freestyle
- 8:13Speaker 1: and he just wouldn't stop rapping. Like I remember he
- 8:15Speaker 1: came on our show once and he rapped for like
- 8:16Speaker 1: ten minutes straight, just off the top of his head.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yeah, he did.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Tim Westwood, he rapped for an hour over an hour straight,
- 8:22Speaker 3: which is insane. I've never seen nobody do that an
- 8:25Speaker 3: hour literally.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Do you know? Like obviously you are a lot of
- 8:30Speaker 1: favorite rappers favorite rapper. Like when you ask a lot
- 8:34Speaker 1: of rappers, they'd be like, yo, man, Herbo's my goat
- 8:37Speaker 1: or you know one of the guys who was crazy
- 8:38Speaker 1: to me. You're thirty now, but you are like a
- 8:41Speaker 1: young ogre.
- 8:43Speaker 3: You're like an ogen because I started when I was sixteen, bro,
- 8:47Speaker 3: Like when I really started doing music, traveling, doing shows, touring.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I dropped my first project when I was sixteen years old.
- 8:55Speaker 3: You feel me walking the phase.
- 8:56Speaker 2: On Land And like even.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Before I dropped that, I had already had like roll
- 9:02Speaker 3: to fase on Land projects and stuff like that, where
- 9:05Speaker 3: I was just putting out music and getting everybody ready,
- 9:08Speaker 3: and it still took a year over a year to
- 9:10Speaker 3: do that. So I put my first songs out when
- 9:13Speaker 3: I was fifteen years old on YouTube and just trying
- 9:16Speaker 3: to you know, just really just having fun with this shit.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Bro.
- 9:19Speaker 3: I didn't even know it was gonna take me here.
- 9:20Speaker 3: I really was just trying to like put on for
- 9:22Speaker 3: my hood in a sense, like you all right, bet,
- 9:25Speaker 3: I'm gonna be the spokesperson for my neighborhood, like you
- 9:28Speaker 3: feel me. Like that's what made me fall in love
- 9:30Speaker 3: with rap music, just talking about hood stories and ship
- 9:34Speaker 3: that I was seeing shit I was doing and experiencing
- 9:36Speaker 3: in the hood and kind of like getting that that
- 9:41Speaker 3: pat on the back from my neighborhood like yeah, he's
- 9:43Speaker 3: speaking for us, you know what I'm saying.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And it just that was like the only affirmation you needed, Like, hey,
- 9:48Speaker 1: if the homies.
- 9:49Speaker 2: If the homies fuck with I was cool with that.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Like you know what I'm saying.
- 9:52Speaker 3: I used to come on on the on the like,
- 9:54Speaker 3: come on the block and freestyle for my homies or
- 9:57Speaker 3: you know, play music and send it to their phone.
- 10:00Speaker 3: And once they learned the music and learned the lyrics,
- 10:02Speaker 3: like like I felt like accomplished, Like I was a
- 10:05Speaker 3: rapper already. You feel I'm saying, Like I swear that's
- 10:08Speaker 3: what I used.
- 10:08Speaker 2: To do it for, like just just the whole.
- 10:13Speaker 3: The getting the credit and the affirmation that you get
- 10:16Speaker 3: like from your neighborhood. Once I once I realized my
- 10:19Speaker 3: neighborhood was behind me and here in my back, that
- 10:21Speaker 3: was all the confidence I needed to keep going.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like it's crazy too, because if you
- 10:27Speaker 1: just think about like you kind of came up during
- 10:31Speaker 1: like the tail end of what we would call the
- 10:32Speaker 1: blog era, but it was like the world star era too,
- 10:36Speaker 1: a world star.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Yeah, fake your drive.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Drive shot, great blog from Chicago.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Show man boy barber Man.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:44Speaker 1: No, it's crazy because like I feel like we forget
- 10:46Speaker 1: like how many like errors of rap you've kind of
- 10:50Speaker 1: been a part of because you when you first came
- 10:53Speaker 1: in streaming wasn't even like thought, it wasn't even a thing.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Nobody had fucking spot up. Spotify wasn't even a fucking thing.
- 10:58Speaker 1: My first project came out on that PIF exactly. I
- 11:03Speaker 1: don't know what's going on with that PITH. By the way,
- 11:05Speaker 1: we need to the app is. I don't think it
- 11:07Speaker 1: exists anymore.
- 11:08Speaker 3: There's somebody that's where we went to go get all
- 11:11Speaker 3: our music that PIF when I dropped and you had
- 11:14Speaker 3: social dropping on that PIFF and King Louis and all
- 11:17Speaker 3: those guys.
- 11:18Speaker 1: You feel me any of those old mixtapes, do you
- 11:20Speaker 1: ever feel like you want to put them on DSPs?
- 11:24Speaker 3: I mean, welcome to phase on DSPs. I think all
- 11:29Speaker 3: of my projects everything piece now. Matter of fact, when
- 11:31Speaker 3: I think about it, I got like thirteen fourteen projects
- 11:35Speaker 3: out on DSP jesus a lot.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Has there ever been anybody who you fucked with that
- 11:42Speaker 1: like ended up being like that you didn't realize that,
- 11:46Speaker 1: like you're just a fan of this person, and then
- 11:47Speaker 1: they ended up being like, Yo, yeah, I grew up
- 11:49Speaker 1: listening to you type shit.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Rob fo nine for one, Like when I first went
- 11:53Speaker 3: the helly remixed fire for sure, good looking bro when
- 11:55Speaker 3: I when I first met Rob, I was just a
- 11:58Speaker 3: fan of like my cousin put me on and I was,
- 12:02Speaker 3: of course hearing like his music because I used to
- 12:04Speaker 3: hang out in New Orleans a lot hearing about them.
- 12:07Speaker 2: And you know what I'm.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Saying, my brother, me and my brother go to we've
- 12:09Speaker 3: been going to New Orleans, like it's like like our
- 12:12Speaker 3: third home for just going out there, hanging out, eating,
- 12:15Speaker 3: having fun and shit chilling with the homies that we
- 12:17Speaker 3: sucked with from out there. And my cousin had put
- 12:20Speaker 3: me on his music, but I had to remember that
- 12:22Speaker 3: I had already heard heard of him, like heard his
- 12:24Speaker 3: name kind of like buzzing when I used to go
- 12:26Speaker 3: to New Orleans and hang out. When I started fucking
- 12:29Speaker 3: with him like on a music tip, like he always
- 12:31Speaker 3: tell me like how he grew up listening to my
- 12:33Speaker 3: music and shit like that and how much he fuck
- 12:35Speaker 3: with me. Even Scaler Skiller do the same thing too.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Like yeah, Skiller Skill is one of those names. I
- 12:40Speaker 1: remember talking to him and him being like, y'all, I
- 12:41Speaker 1: grew up.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Listening energy, yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's like it's a
- 12:44Speaker 3: good feeling for sure. And when you got like a
- 12:47Speaker 3: relationship with those guys. We call him your brother, and
- 12:49Speaker 3: you really are fans of them and you just want
- 12:51Speaker 3: to see them win. But if it's a different feeling
- 12:54Speaker 3: for them as well, being able to you know what
- 12:57Speaker 3: I'm saying, call me they brother and do music with
- 12:59Speaker 3: them and they've been listening to me for ten years
- 13:03Speaker 3: type shit.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You know what's crazy is you put out a project
- 13:06Speaker 1: called Greatest Rapper Alive. And back in the day when
- 13:09Speaker 1: Little Wayne called himself the best rapper Alive, it ruffled
- 13:13Speaker 1: a lot of people's feathers because at that time there
- 13:17Speaker 1: was like this weird like division and hip hop between
- 13:20Speaker 1: like what was like real hip hop and what was
- 13:22Speaker 1: like commercial ship. And Wayne kind of kicked that wall down.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But nobody said about you calling yourself the greatest rapper alive.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Oh no, it ain't really feel like I feel like
- 13:33Speaker 3: even when Wayne was doing it, like people, you know, it.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Might be a little a lot of people to say
- 13:38Speaker 1: for sure, I ain't really I don't remember that. I'm
- 13:40Speaker 1: thirty eight, so I got eight years on you the
- 13:42Speaker 1: whole second grade.
- 13:43Speaker 3: I feel like nobody challenged them for it, though, like
- 13:45Speaker 3: nobody challenged them to a rap.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I called himself the King of the South. People people
- 13:49Speaker 1: were like.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Nah, but you know yeah, I mean it's really just
- 13:53Speaker 3: a confidence thing. I feel like as an artist, you
- 13:56Speaker 3: should all everybody should feel like they're the greatest.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Everybody should feel like they're the best. You know, I'm
- 14:00Speaker 2: saying that what they do.
- 14:01Speaker 3: But like I'm a real student of hip hop, Like
- 14:03Speaker 3: I'm a student of rap lyricism and bars and you
- 14:07Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, like overall hip hop. So that's
- 14:10Speaker 3: what makes me, you know, say that and then you know,
- 14:13Speaker 3: own it because what I put into my music and
- 14:16Speaker 3: how I'm telling the story that I feel like in
- 14:19Speaker 3: my generation, only I could tell to that magnitude, you
- 14:22Speaker 3: know what I'm saying.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Right, And I feel like too. You've also talk about
- 14:27Speaker 1: the young og thing a little bit. It's like you've
- 14:29Speaker 1: also kind of shook like been one of the few
- 14:31Speaker 1: artists to kind of come from where you come from
- 14:34Speaker 1: and show people like you can evolve and not like
- 14:38Speaker 1: not be a crash out for sure.
- 14:40Speaker 3: For sure, man, because where I come from, it's easy
- 14:43Speaker 3: to crash out. It's easy to make split decisions, you
- 14:46Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Decisions that it costs you the
- 14:47Speaker 3: rest of your life. It's easy to do that. It's
- 14:49Speaker 3: not easy to walk away. It's not easy to think.
- 14:51Speaker 3: And you know what I'm saying, swallow your pride and
- 14:55Speaker 3: make decisions that's gonna make sure you get home at night.
- 14:57Speaker 3: So I try to like speak to the general you're
- 15:00Speaker 3: under me and tell them, like, you know, the real
- 15:03Speaker 3: way to be gangsters just to survive.
- 15:06Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 15:07Speaker 3: It's a lot of a lot of people who was gangster,
- 15:10Speaker 3: and you know what I'm saying, their lives got took
- 15:13Speaker 3: or they freedom got took, and now they live in
- 15:15Speaker 3: the rest of their life in regret if they still
- 15:17Speaker 3: have it, you know what I'm saying. So for me,
- 15:19Speaker 3: it's always been like a chess game, a game of chess.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You know.
- 15:22Speaker 3: The key to being in the streets is to make
- 15:25Speaker 3: it out the streets, not the exactly exactly exactly. So
- 15:29Speaker 3: like with me, I always hear like goals to make
- 15:33Speaker 3: it out and become something. Even if it wasn't this,
- 15:35Speaker 3: I had goals to do something with my life.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Yeah for sure. Uh, if you're the greatest rapper of
- 15:41Speaker 1: life alive, who who are you? Round out your top four?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Let's say it, Who's Who's the rest. When it comes
- 15:50Speaker 1: to when it comes to wrap Alive a love me.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Wayne, Meek Mill, I gotta throw kiss and then I
- 16:07Speaker 3: gotta throw hole in that tu tho.
- 16:09Speaker 2: So that's five. I wouldn't even way to cheat.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I gotta throw in that tuto when it comes to like,
- 16:14Speaker 3: yeah rapping, like you know, they those those the people
- 16:18Speaker 3: when when they put a verse on that you could
- 16:20Speaker 3: arguably say is one of the greatest verses of all time.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, I mean that new Meek, that
- 16:26Speaker 1: Meek record he did with Friday just got the best
- 16:28Speaker 1: version of your complex game so far exactly. And the
- 16:32Speaker 1: song you guys did earlier, that Survivors Gelt was hardest.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I appreciate it. Bro.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Me and Meek got some ship though, like chemistry is crazy.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Not for sure chemistry and I love working.
- 16:41Speaker 1: He's also somebody who, like I feel like Meek is
- 16:44Speaker 1: like a great example of people who and it's so
- 16:46Speaker 1: fucked up because you know, Meek Mill should be like
- 16:49Speaker 1: the quintessential example of somebody who's like leveled up and
- 16:53Speaker 1: like matured and like showed you the way to like
- 16:56Speaker 1: build these big relationships, these big partnerships, and it's like
- 16:59Speaker 1: motherfuckers be on his head.
- 17:00Speaker 3: And he was one of the first street niggas to
- 17:03Speaker 3: do it. But when you when you reach greatness like
- 17:05Speaker 3: that to a to a certain level, like it's always
- 17:09Speaker 3: gonna get attacked for you are gonna get criticized, You're
- 17:11Speaker 3: gonna try to do anything to bring you down, you
- 17:13Speaker 3: know what I'm saying. Like he was one of the
- 17:14Speaker 3: first street niggas. That's really motivating the trenches to do right, like,
- 17:19Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying, not be in the streets,
- 17:21Speaker 3: get your mama crib, put your put your people on
- 17:24Speaker 3: around you, empower your people, like he was preaching that
- 17:26Speaker 3: shit as soon as he jumped out, Like as soon
- 17:29Speaker 3: as he got out here and started making money, he
- 17:31Speaker 3: was trying to tell the you know what I'm saying,
- 17:33Speaker 3: the young niggas how to do right with it and
- 17:35Speaker 3: what to dude, you feel I'm saying. And I was
- 17:36Speaker 3: one of the ones that listened. And you know what
- 17:38Speaker 3: I'm saying. When he when he spoke, I listened, that's crazy.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Hey, real quick.

- 18:14Speaker 1: turned it down. Shout out to that boy Big Boogie,

- 18:31Speaker 1: the day like, I don't know anybody who got a
- 18:33Speaker 1: fucking app dog.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm probably definitely like one of the only
- 18:36Speaker 3: artists with an app for sure.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like, you know, maybe Soldier Boy had
- 18:40Speaker 1: one like a decade ago. I would hate for Soldier boy.
- 18:44Speaker 1: I gotta watch com I used to be on it
- 18:48Speaker 1: all the time to what do you what is the
- 18:49Speaker 1: what's the like? The app is obviously very successful. What
- 18:52Speaker 1: is what are the like? What is that just a
- 18:54Speaker 1: direct gateway to your fans?
- 18:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:56Speaker 1: For sure.
- 18:57Speaker 2: That definitely like my music.
- 19:00Speaker 3: So like even with like the project that's going crazy
- 19:04Speaker 3: right now, Greatest Rapper Alive that I put a walk
- 19:07Speaker 3: in the phase on Lamp part two, all those I
- 19:09Speaker 3: put exclusively on my app, you know, to just feed
- 19:11Speaker 3: my algorithm and for my fans to be able to
- 19:13Speaker 3: go and say, all right, this is for us, you
- 19:16Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Like it's not. I didn't put
- 19:18Speaker 3: it out on DSPs. I didn't put it out for
- 19:19Speaker 3: the world. Really, I didn't really care about you know
- 19:22Speaker 3: what I'm saying. Please in that side of the music industry.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Don't get me wrong, I'm always I never say it.
- 19:27Speaker 3: I can't say it enough, Like I'm always working trying
- 19:31Speaker 3: to gain new fans, Like that's what I do it for.
- 19:33Speaker 3: I'm trying to gain that one new fan every time
- 19:35Speaker 3: I put music out. But I want to like make
- 19:39Speaker 3: the fans that's been riding with me from day one
- 19:42Speaker 3: feel appreciated too.
- 19:43Speaker 2: So that's what you know what I'm saying.
- 19:45Speaker 3: That's what the app does for me to be able
- 19:47Speaker 3: to get them exclusive content, exclusive music anything.
- 19:51Speaker 1: You'll give them music that you don't plan on putting out.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I know, I'll give them music that I do plan
- 19:55Speaker 1: on putting Oh yeah, they get it first.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Like you know what I'm saying.
- 19:58Speaker 3: So I'll give it exclusive to my app for a
- 20:00Speaker 3: week or a couple of days and then they.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Go out on DSPs.
- 20:04Speaker 3: But yeah, and I think that make them go rushing though,
- 20:07Speaker 3: Like that make them go get an app and go
- 20:08Speaker 3: rush it because they know, like, all right, but he
- 20:11Speaker 3: put this out for us.
- 20:12Speaker 1: You have a name for your fans. You know, niggas
- 20:14Speaker 1: got bars and shit.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I don't need to come up with younger.
- 20:18Speaker 1: You gotta have a name, man, You got all the
- 20:20Speaker 1: people with that app on their phone. Put it out
- 20:22Speaker 1: there be like, guys, his name is for sure, what
- 20:24Speaker 1: the name of the fan base?
- 20:25Speaker 2: Fan base?
- 20:26Speaker 3: I'm going I'm gonna look up some now, I'm gonna
- 20:28Speaker 3: put that shit on my page, asks man, see what
- 20:30Speaker 3: see what's staying in the test.
- 20:32Speaker 1: You are known to kind of get on people's records
- 20:35Speaker 1: and make them your own. This is something at this
- 20:38Speaker 1: point you have like a really big reputation for who
- 20:42Speaker 1: wants smoke remix? Like if you go to the club,
- 20:44Speaker 1: you just you're just skipping to your version.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah for sure?
- 20:48Speaker 1: What for you, man, Like, what would you say is
- 20:50Speaker 1: like your favorite feature you've done, and just your approach
- 20:53Speaker 1: when it comes to maybe it's a remix, like what
- 20:56Speaker 1: the helly remixer? Who wants smoke remix? Or just getting
- 20:58Speaker 1: on somede because I feel like you went He's on
- 21:00Speaker 1: that Meek record. But I feel like you when you
- 21:03Speaker 1: approach these features, man, it feels like you always are
- 21:05Speaker 1: looking to steal the show.
- 21:07Speaker 2: It's not even now.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I'm just trying to like rap my best shit every
- 21:11Speaker 3: time I get on the owner, and I feel like
- 21:14Speaker 3: I appreciate the opportunity.
- 21:16Speaker 2: So somebody come and get me for they record.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I want to make sure that you know I'm giving
- 21:20Speaker 3: them my best ship and giving them something that they appreciate.
- 21:23Speaker 3: What it's like they excited to put the song out,
- 21:25Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. I always like like like
- 21:28Speaker 3: Lil Wayne is one of my favorite rappers of all time,
- 21:30Speaker 3: Like he is he my goat. So that's what Wayne
- 21:33Speaker 3: done his whole career. Like when when I was at
- 21:37Speaker 3: the drawing board figuring out what music and what projects
- 21:40Speaker 3: I want to drop, I was doing features with everybody,
- 21:43Speaker 3: like send me a record, send me a record. I
- 21:45Speaker 3: got you whoever needed, whoever called me, any of my
- 21:47Speaker 3: peers need a feature, I'm jumping on it right away,
- 21:50Speaker 3: like and I'm known for that. You could asks around
- 21:52Speaker 3: like I'm going, if you send me the song on Wednesday,
- 21:54Speaker 3: I'm gonna probably sit that my fucker back back Friday.
- 21:56Speaker 1: That shit is rare too.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure, I'm turn it all the way around.
- 22:01Speaker 3: And I go to the studio and I dedicate hold
- 22:03Speaker 3: sessions to straight features, like I might do eight features
- 22:05Speaker 3: in the session and one day. And I'm trying to
- 22:08Speaker 3: go hard on all them bitches though, because for one,
- 22:10Speaker 3: my name is everything, and so I want it to
- 22:12Speaker 3: be known. Like man, every time herb get on a song,
- 22:15Speaker 3: he ripping that ship, you know what I'm saying. So
- 22:17Speaker 3: it's like that's just something that it's important to me,
- 22:20Speaker 3: Like it's not it's not even strategic. It ain't really
- 22:24Speaker 3: strategic or nothing. It's just like me naturally, I just
- 22:28Speaker 3: want to get my best ship on the on the
- 22:30Speaker 3: song you feel me, And honestly, uh excuse me. Honestly,
- 22:35Speaker 3: features are the easiest for me to do because I
- 22:37Speaker 3: already get It's like an assignment.
- 22:38Speaker 2: I know what I need to do.
- 22:40Speaker 1: True, it's just the song concept already there right exactly.
- 22:44Speaker 2: So now I could just take your song.
- 22:46Speaker 1: You start from scratch, you' building the.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Studs exactly, So now I could just add to it.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I could take the parts that that you know, the
- 22:53Speaker 3: significant parts in the song that make the song, that
- 22:55Speaker 3: make your ship hard, and the best parts of your
- 22:58Speaker 3: versus best parts of the hook, and I could put
- 23:00Speaker 3: it into my versit. You know what I'm saying, Like,
- 23:01Speaker 3: so strategically I do it that.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Way when you know you. I don't want to get
- 23:06Speaker 1: into the specifics, but I guess how like for you, man,
- 23:10Speaker 1: how was it kind of going through your legal shit
- 23:12Speaker 1: and just like listening to the internet, and because you're
- 23:15Speaker 1: you're a public figure, so when you go through certain shit,
- 23:18Speaker 1: you know, it gets posted on blogs, it gets posted everywhere,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and then you know, people come up with their own
- 23:23Speaker 1: assumptions and all this shit. How do you kind of
- 23:25Speaker 1: navigate that? And is there anything you learned from that?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Specific situation in terms of just how to move with
- 23:31Speaker 1: with just.
- 23:32Speaker 3: It's really bro Like what I learned about the Internet
- 23:35Speaker 3: is they love you today, hate you tomorrow, I love
- 23:38Speaker 3: you again. So I try not to feed into it,
- 23:40Speaker 3: especially the comments where they given insight or information on
- 23:44Speaker 3: some personal shit that's going on in your life, because
- 23:46Speaker 3: a lot of times it's not really true, right, And
- 23:49Speaker 3: I've never been an artist to go on the Internet
- 23:51Speaker 3: and explain myself, like give an explanation or give a
- 23:54Speaker 3: statement to something that somebody may may have seen, especially
- 23:58Speaker 3: when it got something to do with my freedom. You
- 24:00Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, me fighting the case, and you
- 24:02Speaker 3: know I take that very seriously because I got children,
- 24:04Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So sure I'm trying to
- 24:06Speaker 3: make sure that I stay free and I get home
- 24:08Speaker 3: with my kids. And when the Internet, it's like they
- 24:13Speaker 3: kind of want you to crash out in the way
- 24:14Speaker 3: like they do.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Man.
- 24:15Speaker 3: They want you to comment and they want you to
- 24:17Speaker 3: say shit, and they want you to get overwhelmed and
- 24:19Speaker 3: stretched out to a point where it's like you can't
- 24:22Speaker 3: really function, you know what I'm saying. And I got
- 24:24Speaker 3: to be at a function because no matter what I'm
- 24:26Speaker 3: going through. I still got to be a father at
- 24:28Speaker 3: the end, the beginning and the end the.
- 24:29Speaker 2: End of the day.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's number one job, man, exactly.
- 24:32Speaker 3: So I just try to be in my best headspace
- 24:35Speaker 3: mentally and try not to get an outside world too
- 24:38Speaker 3: much access of me, and you know, where I am
- 24:42Speaker 3: and the stuff that's important or even not important to me,
- 24:45Speaker 3: Like I don't even respond to the ship that's not important.
- 24:47Speaker 1: You're definitely you know, for somebody who's had the relationships
- 24:51Speaker 1: you've been in, and you're probably like one of the
- 24:53Speaker 1: least messiest artists like in the game, like you have
- 24:57Speaker 1: to down.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I don't know what the I just learned.
- 24:59Speaker 3: I just found found out that Yan, it's not like
- 25:01Speaker 3: an actor being tired. They said, it's something about lack
- 25:03Speaker 3: of auction.
- 25:04Speaker 1: It's also very research.
- 25:06Speaker 2: On this ship.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's contagious. Did you know that?
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I just said that, like it could take somebody
- 25:10Speaker 3: Yon and you yawn and and ship Like I'm I'm
- 25:13Speaker 3: just learning about like that, don't associate with being tired
- 25:16Speaker 3: because I was, Yon, I'm like.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Damn, you're running around. I don't even know what your
- 25:20Speaker 1: day's been like, Bro.
- 25:21Speaker 3: My week has this has probably been one of the
- 25:23Speaker 3: longest weeks ever, Like starting from last week the Summer
- 25:26Speaker 3: Smash being in Chicago, I was doing it was great,
- 25:30Speaker 3: it was amazing, show was it was lit as fuck,
- 25:33Speaker 3: having my son on stage, all that shit was just
- 25:35Speaker 3: super fire. Then I left, went to Atlanta, hed the
- 25:38Speaker 3: do press there and I'm here right now.
- 25:40Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, doing what I do, but.
- 25:42Speaker 1: It's a blessing.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I'd rather be busy than just sitting in the house
- 25:45Speaker 2: doing ship.
- 25:45Speaker 1: It's what you asked for.
- 25:46Speaker 2: This is definitely what I asked for.
- 25:47Speaker 3: So I'm always gonna be grateful when I'm even when
- 25:51Speaker 3: it's hard. When it's hard it's to show up, I
- 25:54Speaker 3: still show up, you know what I'm saying. No matter what,
- 25:56Speaker 3: I try to do my best and just always be present,
- 26:00Speaker 3: especially for you know, my team and the people that's
- 26:03Speaker 3: going hard for me. When they see that you in
- 26:05Speaker 3: the trenches with him and you willing to go hard,
- 26:07Speaker 3: they go harder for you. You know what I'm saying.
- 26:09Speaker 3: So I just I never give up. That's not even
- 26:11Speaker 3: in my character. But to go back onto what you
- 26:14Speaker 3: were saying, like with me not being a messy rapper,
- 26:17Speaker 3: I take pride and that s course I take pride
- 26:20Speaker 3: and man in my business, I take pride, and I've
- 26:22Speaker 3: never been in a rap beef and I've been doing
- 26:23Speaker 3: this ship for then in fifteen years, like I've never
- 26:26Speaker 3: once been in a controversial.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Rap beef ever at all? Has Has anybody tried to
- 26:32Speaker 1: bait you into some shit?
- 26:35Speaker 3: Takashi sixty nine, That was about it. He did that
- 26:37Speaker 3: to everybody.
- 26:38Speaker 1: He tried to bait the fucking world.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he tried to bait everybody.
- 26:40Speaker 1: But somebody like that doing selling shit.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Yeah, somebody like that, You can't even respond to them
- 26:46Speaker 3: because they are definitely like sing you off. And a
- 26:48Speaker 3: person like that when't like and I don't even want
- 26:51Speaker 3: to speak on him, for I don't give a fuck,
- 26:52Speaker 3: but like a person with no morals and ship like that,
- 26:55Speaker 3: like he's scooped super low, like he'd talk about your
- 26:58Speaker 3: dead grandmother, he'd talk about your children, he talk about And.
- 27:01Speaker 1: That's somebody you don't even like.
- 27:04Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Like pay attention to because
- 27:06Speaker 3: now it times out of ten if you see you
- 27:08Speaker 3: on person and never do that.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I had academics tell me to suck his dick on
- 27:11Speaker 1: the stream. He was drunk while I said, yeah, he
- 27:14Speaker 1: was drunk because I had Rory on my show and
- 27:16Speaker 1: he hates Rory and uh, fucking academics. I don't know.
- 27:23Speaker 1: He was like, yo, boot like gift something my fucking dick,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and I had everybody sending it to me. I'm like,
- 27:28Speaker 1: I'm not replying to this.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I can't.
- 27:30Speaker 1: This guy is fucking willing. First of all, I don't
- 27:33Speaker 1: give a fuck a b He's just like willing to
- 27:39Speaker 1: get drunk on the Internet and just say shit about
- 27:41Speaker 1: my wife and kids.
- 27:42Speaker 2: About anybody, bro.
- 27:43Speaker 3: And it's like, though, I kind of put them in
- 27:45Speaker 3: the same boat to be honest for real, like him
- 27:47Speaker 3: in six', Nine they like in the same boat when

- 29:33Speaker 3: a conversation and it's, like oh, no my, BAD i
- 29:36Speaker 3: ain't even mean. That so now you're going back on

- 30:46Speaker 1: side of. It but obviously you're From chicago and you know.
- 30:51Speaker 1: THERE i feel like there's been this like dark uh
- 30:55Speaker 1: portion of hip hop's fan base, that, like you, know
- 30:58Speaker 1: they really really are are along for the ride until
- 31:01Speaker 1: someone dies because THEY'RE i look at a lot of
- 31:06Speaker 1: these YouTube, documentaries they get really big and people like
- 31:09Speaker 1: they might not even necessarily be into the, music but
- 31:13Speaker 1: they're into like the gang, culture the gang or your real.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Culture so and so's got beefit so and, so and
- 31:20Speaker 1: they're super into the. Storyline and then if someone you
- 31:25Speaker 1: know or forbid passes. Away you go in the comments
- 31:27Speaker 1: to some of these, posts and the comments are fucking.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Insane it's almost.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Inevitable Like i'm From, chicago So i've seen it multiple,
- 31:34Speaker 3: times the amount of rappers that didn't have a success
- 31:38Speaker 3: story because they met their, demise you know What i'm,
- 31:40Speaker 3: Saying so like it's almost inevitable for, real when you
- 31:44Speaker 3: when you live in that lifestyle and you broadcasting it
- 31:47Speaker 3: and you're promoting death and, violence like it's okay to
- 31:51Speaker 3: to tell your story and that's where we come. From you,
- 31:54Speaker 3: know we all got a history of coming from violent
- 31:58Speaker 3: neighborhoods and violent backgrounds and shit like.
- 32:01Speaker 2: That like that's one, thing.
- 32:02Speaker 3: But or your whole story and your whole image to
- 32:06Speaker 3: be just, that you know What i'm, Saying like it
- 32:09Speaker 3: just welcome a different type of, energy you know What
- 32:11Speaker 3: i'm saying THAT i don't AND i never wanted around,
- 32:14Speaker 3: me you feel. Me but In, chicago it's, big you,
- 32:16Speaker 3: know like they they super invested in the fact that
- 32:22Speaker 3: young black men are killing each other and that's been
- 32:25Speaker 3: that way like for years and years and they try
- 32:27Speaker 3: to warn us about, it, like you, know they want
- 32:29Speaker 3: you to kill each, other like even having nothing to.
- 32:31Speaker 1: Do with the.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Industry like if you go back and you think about
- 32:35Speaker 3: like people you know who who preached about, unity Like MALCOLM.
- 32:40Speaker 3: X you know What i'm, Saying like they wanted us
- 32:42Speaker 3: to be peeing against each other because that's how they
- 32:45Speaker 3: get what they, want you know What i'm, Saying that's
- 32:47Speaker 3: how they.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Win that's how the oppressed stay, oppressed you know What i'm.
- 32:52Speaker 3: Saying so it's like when it comes to that type of,
- 32:54Speaker 3: SHIT i always been like ten steps ahead to just
- 32:58Speaker 3: be like you know, WHAT i ain't finna like just
- 33:01Speaker 3: be constantly disindead people and ship like. That you feel
- 33:04Speaker 3: What i'm, Saying like because we come from that that
- 33:06Speaker 3: era in the drill culture where like you disindead people
- 33:09Speaker 3: when you smoking on, this you smoking on. That you
- 33:11Speaker 3: know What i'm. Saying at the end of the, day
- 33:12Speaker 3: these people got. Families they don't even have to be
- 33:15Speaker 3: somebody from their, neighborhood somebody big, cousin an uncle would
- 33:18Speaker 3: want to kill you just for seeing you smoking On they,
- 33:20Speaker 3: Dead they lost, one you know What i'm. Saying they
- 33:22Speaker 3: loved one and WHEN i started to think like, THAT
- 33:25Speaker 3: i kind, of, like you, know grew out of that.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Shit you feel, Me.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah it's almost like two when you when you when
- 33:30Speaker 1: you do that, SHIP i can only imagine the amount
- 33:32Speaker 1: of like stress you're, like going to the stores got
- 33:35Speaker 1: to be. Crazy you never know who you.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Know AND i HAD i had to live with that
- 33:41Speaker 3: amount of stress for.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Years like you know What i'm.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Saying everywhere you, go you're looking over your, shoulder and
- 33:45Speaker 3: you gotta clutch and you gotta watch you looking at
- 33:47Speaker 3: you too. Long you gotta watch what cars riding. Past
- 33:50Speaker 3: you gotta watch what cars tending. Up you gotta watch
- 33:52Speaker 3: what cars park next to your. Car you gotta drive
- 33:54Speaker 3: on certain sides of the express. Away you feel What i'm,
- 33:56Speaker 3: saying like it's it's, Real it's, deep and it get
- 34:00Speaker 3: real meticulous when you live in that, life and nobody
- 34:02Speaker 3: want to live that life ever because you may be that.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Way you may be.
- 34:05Speaker 3: Sharp when you're in your nineteens and early, twenties but
- 34:08Speaker 3: when you're getting your thirties and, forties you might ease
- 34:11Speaker 3: up and think, it's you know What i'm, saying time
- 34:13Speaker 3: to be, Comfortable and then that don't get. Comfortable exactly
- 34:17Speaker 3: when you get, comfortable that's when you lose your.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Life you know What i'm.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Saying because somebody's nineteen year old son might have grew
- 34:23Speaker 3: up hating you nineteen years straight and you in your
- 34:25Speaker 3: forties and he can't wait to see you so he
- 34:27Speaker 3: could kill you for talking about his dad or doing
- 34:29Speaker 3: something to his. Dad that's HOW i, Think LIKE i
- 34:32Speaker 3: always thought like, that you, Know AND i feel like
- 34:35Speaker 3: me having that mas set is, what you, know get
- 34:37Speaker 3: me home to my, kids you feel, Like.
- 34:39Speaker 2: And it's not a great way to.
- 34:41Speaker 3: THINK i hate having to think like, that but every
- 34:43Speaker 3: DAY i leave aout the, HOUSE i feel like somebody
- 34:45Speaker 3: is trying to do something to, me or it's, possible
- 34:47Speaker 3: or somebody can't do something to, me you, Know, so
- 34:49Speaker 3: especially being a, FATHER i try to keep my kids
- 34:52Speaker 3: in the most safe environment, possible you feel What i'm.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Saying so it's LIKE i just move with cautionum AND
- 34:58Speaker 3: i don't even welcome that type of.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Energy like people love.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Me EVERYWHERE i, go you know What i'm, saying BECAUSE

- 42:05Speaker 1: But, TOO i feel like a lot of artists will
- 42:06Speaker 1: like rush in, too like wanting to have a label
- 42:08Speaker 1: when they're like not even like all the way where
- 42:12Speaker 1: they need to be. EXACTLY i feel like at this,
- 42:14Speaker 1: point you're to the point where it's, like, yo you
- 42:16Speaker 1: figured this shit.
- 42:17Speaker 3: Out for, sure, definitely and like artist development is the
- 42:20Speaker 3: key to. Success so it's, like if you don't have
- 42:24Speaker 3: WHAT i mean by artist development is like if you
- 42:26Speaker 3: don't have the simple, ship like the little kinks and
- 42:32Speaker 3: shit aren't. Out when it comes to like just people
- 42:35Speaker 3: baying into your brand and who you are as an,
- 42:37Speaker 3: ARTIST i feel like it's nothing really a label could
- 42:40Speaker 3: do for.
- 42:41Speaker 1: You. YOU i mean like besides to give you a,
- 42:43Speaker 1: bag give give you that front end, money and you still.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Got to figure it out on your, right you know
- 42:47Speaker 3: What i'm. Saying so it's, like if you got to
- 42:49Speaker 3: figure it, out that's. Cool but a, LABEL i feel
- 42:52Speaker 3: like the best partnerships or the best anything with a
- 42:54Speaker 3: label it has it has to have a strong team,
- 42:57Speaker 3: around a strong core team to make sure that you're
- 43:00Speaker 3: doing what you're supposed to. Do on an artist end
- 43:02Speaker 3: of things Feel.
- 43:03Speaker 1: YEAH i, MEAN i mean you look at somebody who
- 43:05Speaker 1: made such an amazing.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Transition, baby, yeah, exactly, sure like baby baby, chilling he big.
- 43:11Speaker 2: Chilling.
- 43:12Speaker 1: MAN i think he's ever gonna rap. AGAIN i don't.
- 43:14Speaker 1: THINK i don't even know the last a song.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Out, NAH i ain't thinking about.
- 43:18Speaker 3: IT i was just talking To biby for sure, though
- 43:21Speaker 3: like just talking about rapping and getting the studio and
- 43:24Speaker 3: ship like HE i think he would do it like
- 43:26Speaker 3: just for the fawn of.
- 43:27Speaker 2: It, yeah just just for the.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Fun of it, exactly like just going in there and
- 43:31Speaker 3: just fucking around and you, know and we still have
- 43:34Speaker 3: those kinds of. Conversations but at the end of the,
- 43:36Speaker 3: day it's, like well we me and, bro we're from
- 43:39Speaker 3: the same, neighborhood like where we come. From you do
- 43:42Speaker 3: all of this to be able to get to a
- 43:44Speaker 3: point where it's like you could just enjoy. Life like
- 43:47Speaker 3: we ain't beat the streets and beat you know What i'm,
- 43:50Speaker 3: saying death and jail and all this adversity to not enjoy.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Life so he in a space right now where he
- 43:56Speaker 3: can enjoy. Life and you know What i'm, saying put
- 43:59Speaker 3: all his time and energy into you know What i'm,
- 44:01Speaker 3: saying his family and the stuff that he wanted to
- 44:03Speaker 3: do that make him happy on the day to. Day you,
- 44:05Speaker 3: know when you get to that point and you've experienced
- 44:08Speaker 3: enough ship to you know What i'm, saying make YOU.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I look forward to that day and an eye for
- 44:13Speaker 1: talent man. Exactly, Yeah, no for, sure he definitely got
- 44:16Speaker 1: an eye an ear for.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Talent we both had that, Though like we both had,
- 44:19Speaker 3: it you, know like when we know somebody got, it
- 44:22Speaker 3: when you got that, factor do you.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Think it's got an it factor that you haven't worked with.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Yet it's that's, newer.
- 44:27Speaker 3: That's, newer that has that it factor THAT i haven't worked.
- 44:30Speaker 3: With M I funck With Hurricane. Wisdom she's. Hard, Yeah,
- 44:36Speaker 3: no for, Sure like he one of the one of
- 44:38Speaker 3: the like new artists That i've seen coming, out and
- 44:41Speaker 3: it's like he just got that natural raw, talent you
- 44:44Speaker 3: fee What i'm, Saying like they don't have to be
- 44:46Speaker 3: nothing else poured into, him no, gimmick none of that.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Ship like he just hard and from the outside looking,
- 44:51Speaker 3: in it seemed like he just being himself with this.
- 44:53Speaker 1: Ship, yeah he's. Dope talk about your foundation and you,
- 44:58Speaker 1: know for, YOU i feel like you've been a leader
- 45:00Speaker 1: in terms of just like pushing the mental health like
- 45:03Speaker 1: importance on the kids and just people in. General for,
- 45:07Speaker 1: you like how's your mental health and you, know how
- 45:10Speaker 1: has the foundation been.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Going i'm in a great space, mentally, man this is
- 45:15Speaker 3: some of probably the Happiest i've been in a long.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Time you feel, Me and it's just Because i'm leaning
- 45:22Speaker 3: towards the things that make me. Happy you know What i'm, Saying, family,
- 45:27Speaker 3: well should my kids go always fall under that, umbrella
- 45:30Speaker 3: you know What i'm, Saying and just really chasing my
- 45:34Speaker 3: dreams and doing it to a level whereas everything That
- 45:39Speaker 3: i've planned to do is, Happening i'm actually doing. It
- 45:42Speaker 3: Like i've took time off AND i planned and strategized
- 45:46Speaker 3: to be doing exactly What i'm doing. Now so when
- 45:49Speaker 3: you when you start to see the benefits and you
- 45:51Speaker 3: start to you know What i'm, saying reap the benefits
- 45:54Speaker 3: of stuff that you just put on, paper you execute a,
- 45:59Speaker 3: play just make you you know, what make you feel good.
- 46:02Speaker 2: About yourself and feel, confident you know What i'm.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Saying and on the flip side of, that that's WHY
- 46:07Speaker 3: i speak so much about mental, health like you know
- 46:09Speaker 3: and speak about because you can't really be your best
- 46:12Speaker 3: self if you're not in a good space, mentally you
- 46:15Speaker 3: know What i'm.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Saying SO.
- 46:18Speaker 3: I try TO i try to do a lot for
- 46:21Speaker 3: my community and do a lot for like the generation
- 46:24Speaker 3: under me when it comes to just putting resources into the,
- 46:28Speaker 3: community putting resources into people where you know you are
- 46:32Speaker 3: in tune with, yourself in tune with your, emotions and
- 46:34Speaker 3: that way you can set goals for yourself and start
- 46:37Speaker 3: to see those goals through you feel me like mental,
- 46:40Speaker 3: health it has a lot to do with you, know
- 46:44Speaker 3: poverty for, real you know What i'm, saying going Without
- 46:47Speaker 3: and when you when you've go gone without and you've
- 46:50Speaker 3: done that for so, long it's like a lot of
- 46:52Speaker 3: people teeing to give. Up SO i just try to
- 46:55Speaker 3: be like like a key person to show them, that you,
- 47:00Speaker 3: know no matter WHAT i went, THROUGH i never gave.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Up so if you just had that mask setting like,
- 47:05Speaker 3: Man i'm just keep going on my how hard this shit?
- 47:07Speaker 3: Go and AND i know that there's light at the
- 47:10Speaker 3: end of the tunnel for. Me and when you you,
- 47:12Speaker 3: know you strategically set aside ship for you to do
- 47:17Speaker 3: and you're doing.
- 47:17Speaker 2: It in that. Matter it's nothing like. It, man it's
- 47:20Speaker 2: no better, feeling you know What i'm.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Saying so that's why, openly Like i'm super vocal about
- 47:24Speaker 3: the importance of mental health and the importance of like
- 47:28Speaker 3: get out there and go get that.
- 47:29Speaker 1: Ship.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Bro, like no matter, what no matter how you feel
- 47:31Speaker 2: or how depressed you may.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Be at to get lost in your. Funk it's easy
- 47:35Speaker 1: to get.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Lost in the, funk.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Bro, like get up every day and just be, productive
- 47:39Speaker 1: try to be better than you were. Yesterday like it's
- 47:41Speaker 1: like going to the. Gym it's, like once you're in the,
- 47:42Speaker 1: gym you're, like, man but it's like getting up and
- 47:45Speaker 1: getting out of That, like, YEAH i just need to get,
- 47:49Speaker 1: out get out of the. Crib.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Now that's WHY i am right, Now like in, general
- 47:53Speaker 3: like that's the next chapter of my, life my, health
- 47:56Speaker 3: like getting in the, gym getting my health, together eating,
- 47:59Speaker 3: right working, out play.
- 48:01Speaker 1: BASKETBALL i HAVEN'T i haven't burned a thousand calories a
- 48:03Speaker 1: day just. HOOPING i haven't taken that step. Yet but

- 48:08Speaker 1: life right. Now, hey gotta stop the. Interview you want
