- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the Mark Simon shall On sevent ten
- 0:05Speaker 1: wo R. Well, we'll get to all the trouble spots
- 0:09Speaker 1: around the world, Iran Venezuela, Minnesota, Greenland and the Giants
- 0:16Speaker 1: and Verizon and a whole lot more coming up. So
- 0:20Speaker 1: here's the latest. In Minnesota. You got this crazy left
- 0:24Speaker 1: wing kook of a mayor, you got this crazy imbecile
- 0:29Speaker 1: of governor Tim Waltz. You've got no leadership in this state.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It's all chaos. There's another big incident last night. Now,
- 0:39Speaker 1: apparently ICE tried to pull over an illegal and they
- 0:44Speaker 1: pulled him over, but he fled. It was a car chase,
- 0:49Speaker 1: then they fled on foot. He went into his house.
- 0:52Speaker 1: The ICE agents went into the house after him. And
- 0:55Speaker 1: by the way, this everybody seemed to agree on all
- 0:57Speaker 1: these details. It's not in dispute. But in there, the
- 1:01Speaker 1: illegal picked up a big shovel and was about to
- 1:06Speaker 1: attack the ICE agent with a big shovel, and to
- 1:09Speaker 1: defend himself, the ICE agent fired a shot, hitting the
- 1:12Speaker 1: illegal in the leg. So, now, if you're in Minnesota
- 1:18Speaker 1: or actually probably pretty much anywhere, the fake news reported
- 1:21Speaker 1: it as ICE agents shoot an immigrant in the foot
- 1:25Speaker 1: in the leg ice agents shoot an immigrant in the
- 1:29Speaker 1: leg First of all, it wasn't an immigrant, it was
- 1:31Speaker 1: in illegal and they left out all the details about
- 1:35Speaker 1: why they fired. And then all hell broke loose in
- 1:38Speaker 1: the Minneapolis with all sorts of stuff going on. And
- 1:40Speaker 1: then you got this idiotic mayor who's now of course
- 1:45Speaker 1: I can call him idiotic, but from his point of view,
- 1:47Speaker 1: it makes sense what he's doing. He wants to be
- 1:50Speaker 1: the leader of this wacko, crazy modern day democratic movement.
- 1:54Speaker 1: He wants to rise up in fame and power within
- 1:57Speaker 1: the party. And when something like this happens, and you're
- 2:00Speaker 1: all over television, You're on the network news, you're everywhere.
- 2:04Speaker 1: If that's your game, you're gonna play this up. You're
- 2:06Speaker 1: gonna keep doing these press conferences, keep saying these outrageous things.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It's fueling your crazy left wing ambition. So here's Mayor Fry.
- 2:13Speaker 2: There's still a lot that we don't know at this time,
- 2:16Speaker 2: but what I can tell you for certain is that
- 2:20Speaker 2: this is not sustainable.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah, now this is that's a pretty tame cut, but
- 2:25Speaker 1: there's all these other cuts to him, you know, on
- 2:26Speaker 1: and this is unconstitutional. What I it's nothing unconstitutional about
- 2:31Speaker 1: law enforcement, enforcing law. That's what they're supposed to do.
- 2:34Speaker 1: This is police Chief O'Hara.
- 2:35Speaker 3: The crowd is engaging in unlawful acts. They have thrown
- 2:39Speaker 3: fireworks at police officers and at multiple times gas has
- 2:43Speaker 3: been deployed.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Yeah, now, so the even the police chief knows this
- 2:47Speaker 1: is getting out of control.
- 2:48Speaker 3: During the struggle, the federal agent discharged his weapon, striking
- 2:51Speaker 3: one adult male. The adult male then retreated inside of
- 2:55Speaker 3: the residents where he remained inside and refused to come out.
- 3:01Speaker 1: So it's getting out of control. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's
- 3:04Speaker 1: uh and the protesters are really getting to be a problem.
- 3:08Speaker 1: There's more and more of them. It's believed they're being
- 3:10Speaker 1: funded all this Soros type money has come in there
- 3:14Speaker 1: to fund all of this stuff. And you know, as
- 3:17Speaker 1: we're talking about yesterday, Democrats used to be the party
- 3:19Speaker 1: of the working class. Now they're the party of these
- 3:23Speaker 1: left wing wackos who don't work, who spend all day
- 3:26Speaker 1: and they're calling this protesting. It's not protesting. Protesting is
- 3:29Speaker 1: where you have a sign, you're standing over there waving
- 3:32Speaker 1: your signs, and you might be yelling things at the cops.
- 3:35Speaker 1: You might be yelling terrible things. Protesting is a sign
- 3:38Speaker 1: and yelling, that's what it is, Ramming your vehicle into them,
- 3:42Speaker 1: grabbing them, throwing stuff at the that's not protesting. And
- 3:48Speaker 1: if you try to block the cops and stop them
- 3:51Speaker 1: like this Renee Good. Remember she would do you know
- 3:55Speaker 1: anybody that would have the nerve to do this? She
- 3:57Speaker 1: drives up ahead of the law enforcement caravan, turns a
- 4:00Speaker 1: car sideways, boxes them in, blocks them in on the street.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Who would have the nerve to do this? So anyway,
- 4:05Speaker 1: that's not protesting. That's actually trying to stop law enforcement
- 4:10Speaker 1: from doing their job. It's actually trying to interfere with
- 4:13Speaker 1: government proceedings. And that's why the president now tweeting out
- 4:18Speaker 1: he may use the Insurrection Act. There is an actual
- 4:22Speaker 1: Insurrection Act, which means the president can do whatever he
- 4:25Speaker 1: has to do in a city in a state. Basically,
- 4:28Speaker 1: what it would look like is he would send maybe
- 4:31Speaker 1: National Guard, but it could also be troops, actual US
- 4:34Speaker 1: troops into a city and crack down on all this.
- 4:39Speaker 1: It's been done before, It's been done many times. The
- 4:42Speaker 1: Kennedys did it, and those southern states where they were
- 4:45Speaker 1: trying to block minority kids from going to College was
- 4:49Speaker 1: done in the late sixties. Lyndon Johnson did it. When
- 4:53Speaker 1: the riots would get out of control in certain American cities,
- 4:55Speaker 1: they would send the military in to stop it. So
- 4:58Speaker 1: the Insurrection Act is a real Now, this is actual insurrection.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Remember they tried to January sixth, Remember that was that
- 5:04Speaker 1: horrible trespassing incident at the capitol. They tried to call
- 5:08Speaker 1: that insurrection. It wasn't. Twelve hundred people were arrested and
- 5:12Speaker 1: they hit these people with every charge that could hit
- 5:15Speaker 1: them with, but none of the charges were insurrection. It
- 5:17Speaker 1: was an unlawful entry, disruption of a government proceeding, trespassing,
- 5:22Speaker 1: that sort of stuff, vandalism, not nobody got charged with insurrection.
- 5:26Speaker 1: This you could actually charge insurrection. You could actually charge insurrection.
- 5:31Speaker 1: So it's possible this could happen. We'll see. Now you're
- 5:35Speaker 1: gonna have all the crazies all over, crazy fake news,
- 5:38Speaker 1: left wing television. You got Hakeem Jeffreys. They're talking about
- 5:41Speaker 1: defunding ICE and stopping ICE, and.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Taxpayer dollars are being used by the Department of Homeland
- 5:48Speaker 2: Security and ICE to brutalize American citizens and law abiding
- 5:56Speaker 2: American taxpayers.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Now, of course, that's totally irresponsible. Is not going around
- 6:01Speaker 1: brutalizing American citizens. They're grabbing illegals off the street and
- 6:06Speaker 1: taking them into custody and then deporting them. Illegals, not immigrants,
- 6:10Speaker 1: not American citizens. And where did this come from? The idea,
- 6:14Speaker 1: this whole idea of ICE. There used to be the
- 6:17Speaker 1: border patrol. But where did this come from? This idea
- 6:20Speaker 1: that ICE could go into a city, find illegals who
- 6:24Speaker 1: had committed crimes and grab them and take them away. Well,
- 6:28Speaker 1: it's been going on for a long time. It happened
- 6:30Speaker 1: during the Obama administration, it happened during the Biden administration.
- 6:34Speaker 1: They didn't do it in great numbers, but they were
- 6:36Speaker 1: doing it then. In fact, there's a clip, I don't know,
- 6:39Speaker 1: it might be on my Twitter. It's floating around on Twitter.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It was during the Obama days when ICE was arresting
- 6:44Speaker 1: illegals on the streets of our major cities, taking them away.
- 6:48Speaker 1: And a reporter asks the White House spokesperson in the
- 6:51Speaker 1: press conference of what are you doing here? How are
- 6:54Speaker 1: you doing this? What right do you have? And she
- 6:57Speaker 1: gives a nice polite answer, and of course there's no
- 6:59Speaker 1: follow up. It's gently asked, and they gently listen to
- 7:02Speaker 1: the answer because it's a Democrat, it's Obama. So they
- 7:06Speaker 1: don't get mad. They don't huff and puff and yell
- 7:08Speaker 1: on the screen. This defunding ICE. You'll hear more about this.
- 7:12Speaker 1: This is gonna be the big thing with Democrats. They'll
- 7:14Speaker 1: try to do a government shutdown over defunding ICE. Most
- 7:18Speaker 1: people don't want ICE defunded. Most people don't like these protests.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It looks ridiculous, you know again, Democrats used to be
- 7:26Speaker 1: the party of the working class. Now they're the party
- 7:31Speaker 1: of these crazy women that don't work, angry, unhinged white
- 7:35Speaker 1: liberal women who don't work, the nose ring crowd. Basically,
- 7:40Speaker 1: the Democrats took the lgbtqz x Y whatever they are
- 7:43Speaker 1: and weaponize them. So Renee Good has a father in law.
- 7:50Speaker 1: This is the father of the crazy wife of Renee Good,
- 7:53Speaker 1: the one that was yelling and screaming at the cops,
- 7:55Speaker 1: taunting them. But even he you know, they had them
- 8:00Speaker 1: and I think it was MSNBC. You know, they wanted
- 8:02Speaker 1: this guy to denounce Trump, but he didn't do that.
- 8:04Speaker 1: He was pretty pretty reasonable in his answer.
- 8:07Speaker 4: I'm not blaming anybody. I mean it's a hard situation
- 8:10Speaker 4: all the way around. It's it's it's hard for the
- 8:13Speaker 4: you know, for everybody involved. I mean the US agent.
- 8:16Speaker 4: You know, at first I didn't see the footage where
- 8:18Speaker 4: you know, he was actually you know, he was actually
- 8:21Speaker 4: being ran. I mean I've seen the bump of the
- 8:22Speaker 4: car hitting you know, hitting his legs, and so in
- 8:26Speaker 4: a you know, in a flash like that, it's it's
- 8:28Speaker 4: hard to say how you would react. From my understanding
- 8:31Speaker 4: that he had been through that before, maybe dragged or something,
- 8:35Speaker 4: and so, uh, you know, like I said, it's just
- 8:37Speaker 4: it's just a hard situation for everybody.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go. It's a very sensible, reasonable, honorable
- 8:46Speaker 1: sort of sounding guy. And then you see his daughter,
- 8:49Speaker 1: a crazy nut in the streets, screaming and yelling and
- 8:52Speaker 1: taunting law enforcement. He's more of this, A father, father
- 8:56Speaker 1: of Renee Goods wife.
- 8:58Speaker 4: I don't blame us, I don't Rebeck. I don't blame Renee.
- 9:01Speaker 4: I just you know, I just wish that, you know,
- 9:04Speaker 4: if a walking the spirit of God, I don't think
- 9:06Speaker 4: she would have been there.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Now, speaking of the ICE agent who was hit by
- 9:10Speaker 1: Renee Goods car, CBS News broke the story that when
- 9:15Speaker 1: he was taken to the hospital after that he was
- 9:18Speaker 1: suffering from internal bleeding. He was hit by the car.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You can see it in the videos from the front.
- 9:24Speaker 1: When he fired his first shot, it went through the
- 9:28Speaker 1: front windshield of the car, which means he was in
- 9:30Speaker 1: front of the car. You know, when you see that
- 9:32Speaker 1: other video, looks like he was on the side, but
- 9:34Speaker 1: you could not fire through the front windshield unless you
- 9:38Speaker 1: were in the front of the car, which he was
- 9:39Speaker 1: for the first shot. And CBS News reporting he had
- 9:44Speaker 1: internal bleeding when he got to the hospital. Now what happens, Well,
- 9:47Speaker 1: the left wing went crazy attacking CBS News. They're all
- 9:51Speaker 1: furious at CBS News for claiming he had internal bleeding.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Now that you have that phrase, they love to use
- 9:59Speaker 1: CBS report without evidence, reported without evidence. Well, they're also
- 10:04Speaker 1: without evidence that he didn't have internal bleeding. But here's
- 10:08Speaker 1: the problem with CBS News. They try to go more fair,
- 10:12Speaker 1: not right wing, just trying to be right down the
- 10:14Speaker 1: middle and give both sides, and it's got their audience
- 10:18Speaker 1: furious at them. So they've lost a few viewers. Their
- 10:21Speaker 1: nightly ratings are down to about four million. It was
- 10:24Speaker 1: five million last year. But that's Okay. You know when
- 10:27Speaker 1: you switch formats happens in the radio too. You know
- 10:31Speaker 1: you're playing a country in Western you switch to you
- 10:36Speaker 1: switch to classic rock. You know you're gonna lose a
- 10:38Speaker 1: lot of your audience. There'll be a transition before you
- 10:41Speaker 1: get your new audience in, so your ratings will drop
- 10:43Speaker 1: before they go up. And this is the same thing.
- 10:45Speaker 1: They're switching the format from crazy left wing to balanced,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and it'll take a while. Now here's what's interesting. NBC News.
- 10:53Speaker 1: You know they got this new anchor at NBC News,
- 10:57Speaker 1: Tom Yamas, good looking guy. In fact. Go on to
- 11:00Speaker 1: my Twitter. Look at the picture of the three nightly
- 11:02Speaker 1: news anchors. What's what's the guy's name on ABC, David Muir,
- 11:06Speaker 1: Tom Yamas. And it's gonna be a couple of years
- 11:09Speaker 1: before I learned the name of the CBS guy if
- 11:11Speaker 1: he's there that long, David, whatever his name is. So
- 11:15Speaker 1: these three anchors, look at the there's three pictures together,
- 11:18Speaker 1: it's on my Twitter. They look identical. They're both young,
- 11:22Speaker 1: really good looking, dark hair like young Don Draper types.
- 11:26Speaker 1: All they're identical, the three. It's amazing that's never happened
- 11:30Speaker 1: before in the history of nightly News were all three
- 11:32Speaker 1: anchors look exactly alike, but this Tom Yamas Lester Holt.
- 11:38Speaker 1: People liked Lester Holt. He was a nice guy. I
- 11:40Speaker 1: know he was crazy left wing, fake news slanted, but
- 11:45Speaker 1: he's not a bad guy in real life. He was
- 11:47Speaker 1: just like in a hostage situation. He had to do
- 11:49Speaker 1: that to keep the job. But as soon as he
- 11:52Speaker 1: was gone and this other guy took over, they did
- 11:54Speaker 1: much better. He just looked slicker, faster, younger, better than Lester.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And the ratings are up. In fact, for the first
- 12:02Speaker 1: time ever, NBC Nightly News beat ABC. This was in
- 12:06Speaker 1: the twenty five to fifty four demographic. Overall. ABC still won,
- 12:12Speaker 1: but it's a good sign for NBC News. So they
- 12:14Speaker 1: did a really good job of finding a replacement for
- 12:17Speaker 1: Lester Holt. So here's the way it works now, ABC
- 12:20Speaker 1: World News Tonight, the nightly newscast eight million viewers for
- 12:23Speaker 1: the week. That makes it the number one show in
- 12:26Speaker 1: all of television. But NBC Nightly News six point seven millions.
- 12:31Speaker 1: It's almost seven million, CBS Evening News four point two million.
- 12:36Speaker 1: But give them a chance to find a new audience
- 12:39Speaker 1: that likes reasonable, common sense stuff. Hey what happened with Iran, Well,
- 12:45Speaker 1: there was talk of going in there. They were going
- 12:47Speaker 1: to execute people. Trump threaten to go in and do
- 12:50Speaker 1: something about it. Now the word they got was that
- 12:53Speaker 1: the executions have been called off. Iran realized the idea
- 12:59Speaker 1: of executing people and hanging them in public could lead
- 13:02Speaker 1: to military actions from the US. President Trump is no
- 13:06Speaker 1: plan for executions or an execution or executions, so I've
- 13:11Speaker 1: been told that a good authority we'll find out about it.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So supposedly they've stopped. Now. The US has pulled some
- 13:19Speaker 1: of our troops out of Middle East bases that they're
- 13:21Speaker 1: near Iran. They sent all sorts of military assets, destroyers,
- 13:27Speaker 1: naval ships, everything is moving towards Iran, guided missile destroyers
- 13:33Speaker 1: and moving there. They're getting everything in place for whatever
- 13:37Speaker 1: they have to do. Iran issued a sickening threat, an
- 13:40Speaker 1: assassination threat against Donald Trump. Iran said this time it
- 13:47Speaker 1: will not miss the target. So is that a confession
- 13:49Speaker 1: that they were behind the last two? I think it
- 13:53Speaker 1: is Iran's made threats to kill the president in the past.
- 13:57Speaker 1: There was a twenty twenty two video posted by the
- 14:01Speaker 1: regime depicting an assassination on the president at Amar A
- 14:05Speaker 1: Lago golf course. And then remember there was an assassin
- 14:09Speaker 1: caught on that golf course. A Justice department also said
- 14:12Speaker 1: in twenty twenty four, the US thwarted a plot to
- 14:17Speaker 1: kill President Trump after arresting company that apparently were part
- 14:20Speaker 1: of Iran's revolutionary Guard. So they have tried to kill
- 14:23Speaker 1: him before. They've issued a new threat against him, which
- 14:27Speaker 1: brings me back to what I've been saying all along.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell he wanted this job.
- 14:32Speaker 1: I mean, I knew the guy in private life before
- 14:34Speaker 1: he was in politics. He had a great life, that
- 14:37Speaker 1: beautiful office in Trump Tower. You're going to parties, having fun,
- 14:40Speaker 1: Celebrities come up and see you building buildings. Who needs
- 14:44Speaker 1: to trade that in for all of this stuff? And
- 14:47Speaker 1: then on top of all these you imagine all day long,
- 14:50Speaker 1: you know, you mentioned going to a meeting with the
- 14:52Speaker 1: officials of Greenland. Who the hell wants to sit through that?
- 14:56Speaker 1: And then on top of that, you got a ran
- 14:58Speaker 1: trying to kill you. Who needs the this kind of stuff?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Now they are they may stop the executions, but they
- 15:03Speaker 1: are going crazy putting down these protests. Doctors in Iran
- 15:09Speaker 1: say they are collapsing from exhaustion because the protesters are
- 15:13Speaker 1: getting wounded, shot, all sorts of stuff happening. They're coming
- 15:17Speaker 1: into the hospitals by the thousands. The number of wounded
- 15:21Speaker 1: and dead bodies piling up. He's unbelievable, doctors saying, they're
- 15:26Speaker 1: arriving in trucks, ambulances, private cars, filled with bodies. We
- 15:30Speaker 1: can't help everyone. We're running out of supplies. Many have
- 15:33Speaker 1: died because we couldn't even get time to treat them.
- 15:36Speaker 1: All pretty bad situation in Iran. So we'll get to that.
- 15:40Speaker 1: We'll get back to that. They also will get to
- 15:42Speaker 1: the giants they're gonna hire. It looks like they're going
- 15:44Speaker 1: to hire John Harbaugh. They're lucky to have him, you know,
- 15:50Speaker 1: they're lucky that he's available. The reason he's available the
- 15:52Speaker 1: other team just fired him. I don't understand this whole procedure.
- 15:56Speaker 1: What kind of job interviews that though? Why'd you leave
- 15:58Speaker 1: your last job? Well, threw me the hell out. But
- 16:01Speaker 1: apparently they want to give him twenty million a year. Anyway,
- 16:03Speaker 1: we'll get back to this. We'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 16:09Speaker 1: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
- 16:14Speaker 1: in Mark on demand by setting up pre sad for
- 16:17Speaker 1: his podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
- 16:20Speaker 5: Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Kevin in Charlotte, Charlotte,
- 16:32Speaker 1: North Carolina.
- 16:33Speaker 6: Kevin, Hello, Mark, how you doing?
- 16:35Speaker 7: Yep?
- 16:35Speaker 6: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Hey, Yeah, let's talk about Charlotte. It's you got a
- 16:39Speaker 1: lot of neighborhoods getting out of control there, don't you.
- 16:42Speaker 6: It's like there's a murder every one or two murders
- 16:45Speaker 6: every single day in the outer neighborhoods and the city.
- 16:48Speaker 6: You would never think, but there's there's killings constantly in
- 16:51Speaker 6: the outer Yeah, it's crazy. My question is I'm hoping
- 16:57Speaker 6: that Trump isn't feeling because the execute stopped, that all
- 17:02Speaker 6: is forgiven and they can go back to where they were.
- 17:05Speaker 6: They crossed the rubicon on this whole situation already. They
- 17:08Speaker 6: can't go back and just say, well, you know, because
- 17:11Speaker 6: the killings have stopped, everything is all right.
- 17:15Speaker 1: No, don't worry. They're just you know, the longer they wait,
- 17:18Speaker 1: the better they plan whatever they're going to do the
- 17:23Speaker 1: way it'll work out. I think that you'll end up
- 17:25Speaker 1: with the Iatola fleeing heading to Russia with his He's
- 17:28Speaker 1: got about twenty people he wants to take with him.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Russia's offered to give them sanctuary or whatever. You got
- 17:35Speaker 1: to pay for that. By the way, I don't know
- 17:37Speaker 1: if you know that, but when they take in a
- 17:39Speaker 1: dictator on their run, you got to pay pootin. Usually
- 17:42Speaker 1: it's about one hundred million. You got to give them.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Don't worry, the Iatolic can afford it. Let's go to
- 17:47Speaker 1: Matt in Manhattan. Matt, how you doing.
- 17:50Speaker 8: Okay, Well, thank you for taking my call. You know,
- 17:53Speaker 8: the biggest thing it's stopping us from having being protected
- 17:56Speaker 8: or having good politicians is the voting system. Governor out
- 17:59Speaker 8: of just recently allowed paper ballot voting in six of
- 18:05Speaker 8: the counties in Texas. Why are we doing this paper
- 18:08Speaker 8: ballot voting?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Well, yeah, no, it's a good idea. You got to
- 18:12Speaker 1: remember years of million years ago, when it was all
- 18:14Speaker 1: paper bollot, you still had cheating in certain places. It's
- 18:17Speaker 1: gonna happen when you had those machines, you had cheating.
- 18:20Speaker 1: When you got you know, into the software, you get cheating.
- 18:24Speaker 1: And it's it's not the machine company or the software company.
- 18:27Speaker 1: It's depends who's running the stuff. You know, in a
- 18:32Speaker 1: big municipality like in the middle of New York City,
- 18:34Speaker 1: the municipal workers running all that stuff tend to be Democrats,
- 18:38Speaker 1: you know. That's who becomes these municipal workers for a
- 18:40Speaker 1: million years. Republicans don't tend to do that kind of
- 18:43Speaker 1: stuff for a living. So there was always finagling with it.
- 18:46Speaker 1: And let's go from North Carolina to South Carolina. Stuart,
- 18:50Speaker 1: how you doing, hey?
- 18:51Speaker 3: Mark?
- 18:52Speaker 5: Ay you doing? Oh? Two points one? Vincent mentioned yesterday
- 18:55Speaker 5: about the night six and you mentioned about the ones
- 18:58Speaker 5: with the handles. That was a PR twenty four.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Okay, but wait, they got rid of the night stick.
- 19:02Speaker 1: It looked good because the cop but spent the first
- 19:05Speaker 1: two years on the force learning how to twirl it
- 19:07Speaker 1: real nice.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Yeah, but the PR twenty four is the one you
- 19:10Speaker 5: mentioned with the handles were fantastic. They were basically marshall arts.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Okay, but that's the thing where it looks like a
- 19:17Speaker 1: big selfie stick. It's it's small, but then you extend
- 19:20Speaker 1: a wand out.
- 19:21Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 5: And the other one that you had talked about, the
- 19:24Speaker 5: expandable one, is I think they are horrible it's called
- 19:27Speaker 5: an Asta and it's it's not so cumbersome. But the
- 19:32Speaker 5: PR twenty four was much much better. And the other
- 19:35Speaker 5: thing I want to say, I was in Iran before the.
- 19:37Speaker 7: Shaw left, what we were doing in Iran.
- 19:42Speaker 5: I was in the military and it was the people
- 19:46Speaker 5: there was great. In fact, the country was very nice.
- 19:48Speaker 5: I loved being there.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, well, let me just because people did not
- 19:51Speaker 1: realize it before the Shaw left. When the Shaw was
- 19:54Speaker 1: running it, before the Ayatola, Iran was like the Paris
- 19:58Speaker 1: of the Middle.
- 19:58Speaker 5: East, right, It was wonderful, Mark. It really was a
- 20:02Speaker 5: nice place and the people were really great. They were
- 20:04Speaker 5: so friendly. And people have to understand, we are not
- 20:08Speaker 5: at war with the Iranian people. They are very decent people.
- 20:11Speaker 5: It is the regime that has just bastardized that poor country.
- 20:15Speaker 5: And once the Iotolas took over then it just went insane.
- 20:20Speaker 5: And he's got to be removed. He really does. He's
- 20:22Speaker 5: done so much damage to the world. He's just a
- 20:25Speaker 5: cancer upon the earth.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Stuart, great call, Thanks for Colin. Let's
- 20:29Speaker 1: go to Vincent from Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:32Speaker 9: Good morning, Mark, God morning, Good morning Stewart. Mark Stewart
- 20:36Speaker 9: is one hundred percent right. Years ago, I used to
- 20:39Speaker 9: have a tenant and his family escaped from Moran when
- 20:48Speaker 9: the Mullahs took over, and they did very very well
- 20:52Speaker 9: in this country, very well, very well loved family. Mark,
- 20:57Speaker 9: the first caller talked about the uprising in a ram Mark,
- 21:02Speaker 9: I wouldn't trust those people as far as I could spit,
- 21:05Speaker 9: because how do we know that they're not taking the
- 21:08Speaker 9: prisoners in the police stations or in the barracks and
- 21:12Speaker 9: putting a cap in their head over there years ago?
- 21:16Speaker 9: And people got to remember this when there was the
- 21:19Speaker 9: first uprising in Iran years ago, when Obama was president
- 21:24Speaker 9: and he didn't do anything. I saw executions in the
- 21:29Speaker 9: town square, not on American TV, on Italian TV of course,
- 21:34Speaker 9: where they were hanging these kids from cherry pickers in
- 21:37Speaker 9: the town square and everything.
- 21:40Speaker 1: It's not fair to say Obama didn't do anything. Didn't
- 21:43Speaker 1: he send him like twenty billion in cash, remember that.
- 21:48Speaker 9: Exactly? The help which was actually which was actually illegal
- 21:53Speaker 9: because he was also sending them other currencies aside from
- 21:59Speaker 9: the United States.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah, they disguised at this other Curtsey, but it was
- 22:01Speaker 1: that out and out bribe to her in Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 9: Yeah, he was sending them everything. How do we know
- 22:06Speaker 9: he didn't send them gold and other stuff in there?
- 22:10Speaker 9: And as President Donald Trump said, Obama did squat and
- 22:15Speaker 9: I saw the executions myself on unwoke Italian TV. Mark,
- 22:24Speaker 9: So I wouldn't trust those people as far as I
- 22:27Speaker 9: can spare.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah, well, that's why they hate Donald Trump. They don't
- 22:29Speaker 1: like this. Why does he have to do so much?
- 22:31Speaker 1: Just sit there and talk like Trump, just talk. Don't
- 22:34Speaker 1: let you do anything, Donald Trump. You would saying, well,
- 22:38Speaker 1: you said, well, why would he want to risk taking
- 22:40Speaker 1: a bullet? He is going to go down. There's no
- 22:44Speaker 1: doubt in my mind. There's the greatest president in United
- 22:48Speaker 1: States history. He's gonna top everybody. The only one perhaps
- 22:53Speaker 1: that he won't top, only because he found his country,
- 22:56Speaker 1: is George Washington. He is the greatest. All right, Vincent,
- 23:00Speaker 1: we agree, Thanks for a great call, Thanks for calling us. Hey,
- 23:05Speaker 1: when we come back, Steve Moore will be with us.
- 23:08Speaker 1: We hope we'll see next On seven to ten w R.
- 23:12Speaker 4: It's more and more mister New York on seven ten WR.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Well, welcome to the hunt for Steve Moore. We uh,
- 23:24Speaker 1: we're gonna get him, right, We've made contact with him,
- 23:28Speaker 1: the Great Economist, and he leads the Great Committee Unleashed Prosperity.
- 23:36Speaker 1: By the way, every day they put out the best
- 23:38Speaker 1: daily briefing with news and analysis. You'll love it. It's free,
- 23:42Speaker 1: it'll come write your email. Go sign up for it.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Go to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com
- 23:49Speaker 1: and get Steve Moore's latest book, The Trump Economic Miracle.
- 23:53Speaker 1: You'll love it. Steve Moore, How you doing.
- 23:57Speaker 7: Say, Mark, I have known really well. I think that
- 24:00Speaker 7: this economy is flying high. I think all the signals
- 24:04Speaker 7: are pointing north, whether it's incomes, and we're seeing a
- 24:08Speaker 7: lot of new jobs, a lot of new manufacturing, a
- 24:10Speaker 7: lot of money pouring into the United States. I think
- 24:13Speaker 7: were they out economy? And so I'm very bullish right
- 24:17Speaker 7: now about you.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, Well, I'm not an expert like you are.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But the jobs number looked okay, not great. But if
- 24:23Speaker 1: you look at the household survey, it looked great. What
- 24:26Speaker 1: is the difference between the two things.
- 24:29Speaker 7: Well, I don't want to get too far into the weeds.
- 24:31Speaker 7: I don't want to be a nerdy here, but basically,
- 24:34Speaker 7: they do surveys one of the households in one of
- 24:37Speaker 7: the businesses, and they pointed in different directions, And so
- 24:41Speaker 7: the household survey showed a big gain in jobs and
- 24:47Speaker 7: the other one just showed a little tiny game. I
- 24:50Speaker 7: don't know which one to believe. I think maybe somewhere
- 24:52Speaker 7: in the middle. But look, the problem in the United
- 24:54Speaker 7: States is not a shortage of jobs. It isn't it's
- 24:57Speaker 7: a shortage of workers. I mean, we have a eleven
- 25:00Speaker 7: thousand America retirement every day and eight thousand people that
- 25:04Speaker 7: work for So just do the math there are our
- 25:09Speaker 7: labor force is going to be shrinking unless we have
- 25:11Speaker 7: immigration and unless we get the people who are employed
- 25:13Speaker 7: in into jobs. So if you talk to most businesses,
- 25:18Speaker 7: they say, look, we're hiring, we just can't find the
- 25:20Speaker 7: people with the skills we need. You saw Bill Ford,
- 25:23Speaker 7: you know, who, of course is the president of Ford
- 25:24Speaker 7: Motor Company. Yeah, say, we have fifteen thousand mechanic jobs
- 25:28Speaker 7: open and those stay over one hundred thousand dollars a
- 25:30Speaker 7: year and we can't fill them.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Wow, yeah, I know that. And for it's an example
- 25:34Speaker 1: of a great American company that's a coming back manufacturing
- 25:38Speaker 1: in America. Yep. And yep.
- 25:40Speaker 7: I mean, you know, it's interesting, Mark, because you probably
- 25:43Speaker 7: said a lot of your listeners and I'm sure you
- 25:46Speaker 7: saw Trump, you know, give that little talk at the
- 25:49Speaker 7: Ford plant where they make the F one fifty. And
- 25:52Speaker 7: you know, when I was a kid, you know, I
- 25:55Speaker 7: in the early seventies, when I grew up in Chicago,
- 25:57Speaker 7: we took a trip. We drove to Detroit and we
- 26:00Speaker 7: went to the Kellogg's factory and we went to the
- 26:02Speaker 7: steel plants and we went to the Ford you know
- 26:05Speaker 7: plant there. And back then this was seventy like sweatshops.
- 26:10Speaker 7: I mean, those are tough factory jobs, you know. And
- 26:12Speaker 7: I looked at the factories, you know, that factory, that
- 26:15Speaker 7: four factory today. It didn't look and anything like that
- 26:18Speaker 7: fifty years ago. And so my point is, you know
- 26:20Speaker 7: that that it's changed a lot in these kind of
- 26:23Speaker 7: manufacturing jobs, and it so much is done with automation now,
- 26:27Speaker 7: and so it's it's amazing and the fact that we're now,
- 26:32Speaker 7: you know, producing more cars is a really positive thing.
- 26:35Speaker 7: And producing Americas trumps that it used to be. The
- 26:38Speaker 7: factory we're moving from Michigan to Mexico, and now they're
- 26:43Speaker 7: moving from Mexico Michigan.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, speaking of all that, you know, years ago,
- 26:48Speaker 1: the Democratic Party was the party of the working class.
- 26:50Speaker 1: You thought of Democrat voter. You thought of the factory,
- 26:53Speaker 1: the lunch bucket, the hard hat. Now you think of
- 26:57Speaker 1: a Democrat, what do you think of a nose ring,
- 26:58Speaker 1: pink hair? They don't work, chasing ice around? What happened?
- 27:04Speaker 7: It's a great point, I think one of the real
- 27:07Speaker 7: uh political positions that has happened in the last fifteen pointers,
- 27:13Speaker 7: especially in the Europe. Trump, it's been Trump really has
- 27:16Speaker 7: turned the Republican Party into the party of the working class,
- 27:20Speaker 7: and Democrats have become the party of the league. And
- 27:25Speaker 7: so that's why you're seeing you know, uh mayhound in
- 27:30Speaker 7: the cities and so on. I mean, you look at
- 27:32Speaker 7: what's happening in New York City and it's just it
- 27:34Speaker 7: breaks my home mark. I mean, you live there in
- 27:38Speaker 7: the New York It's just, how can you who admits
- 27:43Speaker 7: that he's a socialist? Where is socialism point to a
- 27:46Speaker 7: civil plate where it works? Yeah?
- 27:49Speaker 1: Uh, Well, but the president seems to have a good
- 27:52Speaker 1: relationship with mom, Donnie, not that it's ye done anything relationship.
- 27:57Speaker 7: He also has a good relationship now with pokahonnas uh.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Well loosen Steve. Are you there a credit cards? Yeah? Hey,
- 28:09Speaker 1: speaking of credit cards, this idea of capping because they
- 28:13Speaker 1: are interesting. Well, the interest rate on a credit card
- 28:15Speaker 1: can be ridiculously high twenty Why not a cap?
- 28:21Speaker 7: Well, because if you do that, it's because they've tried
- 28:25Speaker 7: this before. When you put these kind of caps on
- 28:28Speaker 7: the then they issue fewer credit cards, and we estimated
- 28:30Speaker 7: millions of Americans will lose, especially lower income Americans and
- 28:35Speaker 7: Americans with poorer credit ratings. And then they're not going
- 28:37Speaker 7: to have access to credit at all. And then what
- 28:39Speaker 7: are they gonna have to do? They're gonna have to
- 28:40Speaker 7: go to you know, Guido the loan Shark you can
- 28:44Speaker 7: get money. So I think it's a really bad idea.
- 28:49Speaker 7: I'm not a financial advisor, but I will advise this
- 28:51Speaker 7: to your listeners. The worst way to borrow is to
- 28:54Speaker 7: borrow off your credit card. People are stupid to do that,
- 28:57Speaker 7: and we should. We need more financial literacy in this.
- 29:00Speaker 7: You're better off taking a loan at a bank than
- 29:02Speaker 7: burrowing off your credit cards. Because you said they'll pay you,
- 29:04Speaker 7: they'll charge your twenty two percent interest, So don't that.
- 29:08Speaker 7: Credit cards are not for borrowing. And if you get
- 29:10Speaker 7: if you get into debt on your credit card, try
- 29:12Speaker 7: to pay it back as quickly as possible. So but look,
- 29:16Speaker 7: the banks don't make money when people go, uh, you know,
- 29:19Speaker 7: go don't link went on their credit cards. But they
- 29:21Speaker 7: have to recapture, you know, they pay, you know, they're
- 29:24Speaker 7: paying the same four percent interest rate, they pay six
- 29:26Speaker 7: percent on the capture. They pay all these costs. So
- 29:30Speaker 7: there's way. But I saw that some at two trillion
- 29:34Speaker 7: dollars of debt on people's credit cards. That's bad.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember that Warren Buffett. That old woman said, uh,
- 29:41Speaker 1: he said, well what do you Oh, it's well, my
- 29:43Speaker 1: credit card did how much you're paying a twenty two percent?
- 29:45Speaker 1: And he said pay it off immediately. She said, well
- 29:47Speaker 1: I need money. He said, I'll give you all the
- 29:49Speaker 1: money you want if you're paying twenty two percent.
- 29:52Speaker 7: So yeah, right exactly. So it's just a bad way
- 29:55Speaker 7: to borrow. And people are going to look, I'm I
- 29:57Speaker 7: have relatives who've gotten into the card trouble. And and
- 30:00Speaker 7: then the problem is then if you don't pay the
- 30:01Speaker 7: credit card, you know, then you lose your credit rating.
- 30:05Speaker 7: So we just need to be more disciplined in terms
- 30:09Speaker 7: of you know, not overspending. But I don't think look
- 30:13Speaker 7: taking away credit card. Look it used to be when
- 30:16Speaker 7: I grew up, only you know, less half of the
- 30:18Speaker 7: population even had access to credit cards. Now almost everybody
- 30:21Speaker 7: has a credit card, and that's a good thing. It
- 30:23Speaker 7: means we've democratized credit and innocently. Have you noticed this?
- 30:27Speaker 7: I don't know if it's true in New York City,
- 30:29Speaker 7: but a lot of firs where I live, they say,
- 30:32Speaker 7: we don't take cash anymore. Well, so if they don't
- 30:35Speaker 7: take cash and you can't get a credit card, are
- 30:37Speaker 7: you going to pay for anything?
- 30:39Speaker 1: But in five years, I don't think we'll have any
- 30:41Speaker 1: cash anywhere. Everything will.
- 30:43Speaker 7: I don't think so either, So that you know, how
- 30:45Speaker 7: are people going to you know, people are going to
- 30:47Speaker 7: use electronic transfers and and so we want everybody to
- 30:51Speaker 7: have access to credit. And but look, I agree with you.
- 30:54Speaker 7: I think though some of those interest rates are really high.
- 30:57Speaker 7: But I don't think I don't like the government setting
- 30:59Speaker 7: price controls.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah, if we're not gonna have any cash anymore, is
- 31:03Speaker 1: that the reason we really have to have crypto for
- 31:05Speaker 1: people that want to avoid taxes and all that stuff
- 31:08Speaker 1: and criminal activity. That's why they need crypto.
- 31:12Speaker 7: Well, I'm not an expert on cryptos. I'm very happy
- 31:15Speaker 7: we have them. And are you an investor in cryptos?
- 31:18Speaker 8: No?
- 31:18Speaker 7: No, no, I'm not either, but I'm happy that we
- 31:22Speaker 7: have them because you know what, we've got a lot
- 31:24Speaker 7: of you know, we've got Jerome poll up the FED
- 31:26Speaker 7: who doesn't know what he's doing. And you know what
- 31:28Speaker 7: does the government always do when we get in trouble
- 31:30Speaker 7: They inflate the currency. So this is a fact that
- 31:33Speaker 7: people can buy a private currency. I think it's going
- 31:36Speaker 7: to keep these central bankers honest. Hey, we just a
- 31:40Speaker 7: prediction is a good thing.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we only got a few seconds. Jerome Poull when
- 31:44Speaker 1: he is done is the FED chairman? Will he leave
- 31:46Speaker 1: or who he stay on the board and annoy everybody?
- 31:49Speaker 7: Does it matter? I just want him out of the
- 31:51Speaker 7: chairmanship as soon as possible. I'm with Trump. I think
- 31:54Speaker 7: he's been a total disaster at the FED. Uh and
- 31:56Speaker 7: he hates Trump and a lot of this. He's also
- 31:59Speaker 7: the most political Fed sherman we've ever had yet. I
- 32:02Speaker 7: cannot wait but up my advice to Trump just wait
- 32:04Speaker 7: him out. He'll be gone in four months and we'll
- 32:05Speaker 7: he'll be He'll be gone and forgotten.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Well, unlike you. I want him out of the building,
- 32:10Speaker 1: not on the board, not a vote. I want him gone,
- 32:13Speaker 1: leave Washington anyway. Steve Moore, great stuff. Everybody sign up
