  And today we're going to talk about something that has the power to change your

  outlook, your attitude, and even your day.

  Gratitude. Now I know, we hear

  that word all the time, especially around Thanksgiving or the holidays.

  But what if gratitude just isn't something we say when life is good?

  What if it's something we choose, even when life feels heavy?

  The Bible tells us that, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's
• 1:23
  will for you in Christ Jesus.

  Did you catch that? In all circumstances.
• 1:30
  Not for all circumstances. We're not thankful for pain, Loss Or confusion But
• 1:38
  in them Because gratitude isn't about pretending Everything's perfect No,
• 1:44
  it's about recognizing that Even when things aren't God still is.

  I'll never forget one morning a few years ago, I woke up already tired.
• 1:53
  You know those days where you, I feel it right now, you know those days where
• 1:57
  you just feel off, but before you even start, things were piling up.

  Work, family, responsibilities, and honestly, my faith felt dry.
• 2:09
  I remember sitting in my car before work and whispering, God,
• 2:13
  I just don't have it today.
• 2:15
  And in that quiet moment, I felt this nudge in my heart. be thankful anyway.

  So I started small and I started to think.
• 2:28
  And then I said, thank you for this car that still runs. Thank you for my family.
• 2:33
  Thank you for my children.
• 2:35
  Thank you that I woke up today.
• 2:38
  And something amazing happened. The more I said thank you, the lighter my heart became.

  Not because of my circumstances, not because the circumstances changed,
• 2:49
  but because as my perspective did.
• 2:52
  And that's the power of gratitude.

  It doesn't always change what's happening around you, but it absolutely changes
• 3:01
  what is happening within you.

  You know, scriptures are so important. You know, Psalms 100 verse 4,
• 3:09
  it says, Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise.

  Give thanks to him and bless his name.
• 3:18
  Gratitude is the doorway to God's presence.
• 3:21
  When we thank Him, we shift from focus on what we lack to remembering who we have.

  Even in the hard times when you're waiting and healing, when finances are tight,
• 3:35
  when the world feels uncertain, gratitude keeps your heart anchored in God's goodness.

  So today, no matter what is going on in your life, find one thing,
• 3:47
  just one, to thank God for.
• 3:50
  It might be the smile your child gives.
• 3:55
  The roof over your head, I don't know. I mean, just one to thank you for anything.

  It could be a simple thing that the fact that God hasn't even given up on you.

  I know I'm rambling, but it's the truth.

  And maybe, just maybe, that one thank you will open the door to peace,
• 4:14
  hope, and joy that there was and will always be there all along.

  Because here's the truth. Gratitude turns what we have into enough.

  It shifts our focus from the problems to promises, from pressure to praise.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for goodness in every season.
• 4:41
  Teach us to see blessings where we often see burdens.
• 4:45
  When life feels heavy, remind us that you are still worthy of praise.
• 4:49
  Help us to live thankfully and not because everything is perfect,
• 4:54
  but because you are present.
• 4:56
  We give you all the glory today. In Jesus' name we pray.

  So my half-faith family, today is not just any other day, it's another gift

  and it's gifts that we are meant to be appreciated.

  So pause, breathe and be thankful and thank God, not just what you can see,

  but for what he's still working on and what he's working out behind the scenes.

  Because you matter. And never forget.
