  Speaker 2: Oh? Well, good morning and thanks for having me on.

  Speaker 2: And boy, we've got a lot going on. I mean,

  Speaker 2: racing starts Friday and then it goes. We have a

  Speaker 2: doubleheader Saturday Amanda with the Whale and Modifies and the

  Speaker 2: Craftsman Truck Series and then of course on Sunday the
• 0:32
  Speaker 2: Big Dollar Tree three to Oho one NASCAR Cup Series race.

  Speaker 2: It's just going to be a weekend. I think people

  Speaker 2: going to need a couple of days off when they
• 0:38
  Speaker 2: get home just to get some rest. We're going to
• 0:40
  Speaker 2: do a lot of fun things.

  Speaker 1: For sure. Now I've been to the race before, but

  Speaker 1: I didn't realize you guys actually opened the camping on

  Speaker 1: the track so soon before the race. Like, you get
• 0:51
  Speaker 1: a full week of partying if you want it.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, right now. The plan is at eight am on

  Speaker 2: August fifteenth, the gates will open up and campus will

  Speaker 2: roll in and you can camp all week and watch

  Speaker 2: the track come to life. I always enjoy having the
• 1:06
  Speaker 2: campers kind of well, we leaved all the doors open.

  Speaker 2: If you will, you can walk into the infield in

  Speaker 2: the middle of the week. Well, we're painting grass logos.

  Speaker 2: And I know that the early arriving campers really loved
• 1:16
  Speaker 2: to kind of see us put the finishing touches as

  Speaker 2: we get the Magic Mile ready for a great weekend

  Speaker 2: of racing.

  Speaker 1: It's so cool. And I got to tell you, the

  Speaker 1: first time I went, I kind of messed up because

  Speaker 1: I just I didn't realize. I remember walking through looking
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: at the tailgates and thinking this could rival Kenny Chesney
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: at Gillette. It was so insane. But I didn't properly
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: prepare because I showed up with maybe like a six
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: pack of beer to be split with me and my girlfriends.

  Speaker 1: And I'm like, yeah, you can bring your own beer
• 1:41
  Speaker 1: in as long as it's not like in a glass bottle.

  Speaker 1: So we ran out right, we ran out, but we

  Speaker 1: made friends and we were oh.

  Speaker 2: Yes, Honestly, in all of major sports, NASCAR fans are

  Speaker 2: the best. I mean they really you know, you're in
• 1:56
  Speaker 2: there celebrating the love of motor racing with your with

  Speaker 2: your fellows, and yeah, it is really kind of a need.

  Speaker 2: A feature about our our racetrack is that you can

  Speaker 2: bring your own you know, cooler into this, into the
• 2:08
  Speaker 2: facility and actually sit in the grand stands with your
• 2:10
  Speaker 2: own six pack. And you're right, you may run out,

  Speaker 2: but you've got a lot of other fans in the
• 2:14
  Speaker 2: grand stands to help you out. But it's a lot
• 2:16
  Speaker 2: of fun and camping. If you've never I mean, if
• 2:19
  Speaker 2: you've camped, I get camping. But if you've never camped
• 2:22
  Speaker 2: at a NASCAR week you are really missing out. It
• 2:25
  Speaker 2: is an absolute blast and you will make some I
• 2:28
  Speaker 2: think lifelong friends. We see it all the time.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to have to put that on my

  Speaker 1: official summer bucket list if I don't get to it

  Speaker 1: this coming weekend. Next year for sure, and why there

  Speaker 1: there you go. Really cool things about the trophy that

  Speaker 1: the winner gets is they get the Golden loud and Lobster.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of the most iconic trophies in all
• 2:49
  Speaker 2: of NASCAR. And you know that bad Boy is probably
• 2:53
  Speaker 2: in the twenty one twenty two pound range this year.

  Speaker 2: A lot of the Lobster is kind of a staple. Yeah,

  Speaker 2: it's got a cool to hand out. It's obviously as

  Speaker 2: you think about the importance of lobstering in the in

  Speaker 2: the New England States, that's a very important fishery. So
• 3:06
  Speaker 2: it's iconic to New England, it's iconic to fisheries from

  Speaker 2: Connecticut right on up into Maine, and so we love

  Speaker 2: featuring that. And yeah, some drivers freak out about it,

  Speaker 2: but most of them, yeah, really do well when I

  Speaker 2: hand them that big, that big lobster in Victory Lane.

  Speaker 1: Who's had the most memorable reaction that you can think

  Speaker 2: Oh, Denny Hamlin, for sure, not a question. Denny Hamlin. Absolutely.

  Speaker 2: He well, first of all, most drivers, I mean to

  Speaker 2: think I'm handing them the lobster backwards because they're getting

  Speaker 2: kind of like the ugly side with all the little

  Speaker 2: grab you. But from the photographer standpoint, they're getting the

  Speaker 2: nice shot of the lobster. So they're always telling me

  Speaker 2: I'm handing it to them wrong, and I'm like, dude, no,

  Speaker 2: I'm going to get to you correctly. But Denny's just

  Speaker 2: got a lobster phobia. He just doesn't like him, and

  Speaker 2: he tells me all the time, like I am, I

  Speaker 2: am not a fan of that thing, but he does

  Speaker 2: suck it up and he does do it, but he

  Speaker 2: does definitely does not enjoy it. Like Ryan Blaney are

  Speaker 2: defending champion up here at the Magic Mile. He had

  Speaker 2: no issues with that lobster. He was hoisting it, had

  Speaker 2: it on his shoulder like a parrot. He really didn't

  Speaker 2: bother him at all.

  Speaker 1: I love that you got any predictions for who you

  Speaker 1: think is going to win the big race on Sunday.

  Speaker 2: Boy, I'll tell you deep into the season and the

  Speaker 2: chase looming, and you've got guys like Christopher Bell and

  Speaker 2: Kyle Larson that have not won a race yet, which

  Speaker 2: is really unusual. And Christopher does really well here. Toyotas

  Speaker 2: do really really well at the Magic Mile. I got

  Speaker 2: my eye circle that the Christopher Bell that may be

  Speaker 2: his breakout weekend. He's still in the points to get

  Speaker 2: into the chase, but zero wins in the month of August.

  Speaker 2: It's just it's just weird. So he'd be the one
