  Speaker 7: close to home. I grew up blocks away from Annunciation Church.

  Speaker 7: A lot, and I do mean a lot of my

  Speaker 7: friends went to grade school in junior high there and

  Speaker 7: then came over to Washburne High School, the public school

  Speaker 7: ironically to finish off their high school education. Shows a

  Speaker 7: lot about washburn But you know, I played on the

  Speaker 7: playground there been in the church, and.

  Speaker 2: Like I said, it just this one really really really

  Speaker 2: hits home. I grew up.

  Speaker 7: Blocks away, like I said, and that church was just

  Speaker 7: such a huge part of the South Minneapolis community, especially

  Speaker 7: down there. You know, I grew up on fifty six

  Speaker 7: to Nikelet, a couple of blocks off Diamond Lake Road,

  Speaker 7: and I could, you know, I could walk to that
• 3:35
  Speaker 7: church in ten minutes flat probably, I mean, it was
• 3:38
  Speaker 7: that close. So prayers to these kids, their families, the

  Speaker 7: staff at the at at Annunciation, you know, watching these
• 3:49
  Speaker 7: kids this not this morning, well this morning too, but
• 3:55
  Speaker 7: watching them and these interviews and stuff, it really honestly

  Speaker 7: just kind of sucked it out of me.

  Speaker 2: For sports tonight, and on a day where.

  Speaker 7: On a day where you know, Adam Thielen comes back

  Speaker 7: to the Vikings and go for football tomorrow, and we're

  Speaker 7: gonna touch on those things very quickly. Minnesota Lynks, you know,

  Speaker 7: looking good as they pursue their fifth championship, but you know,

  Speaker 7: once again the school shooting, and you know, I don't

  Speaker 7: even know what to say anymore, I really don't.

  Speaker 7: Offer prayers than we do and then the best wishes

  Speaker 7: about thirteen people that have been shot here over the

  Speaker 2: So, like I said, sick individuals in this world, man.

  Speaker 7: But prayers to all my Annunciation friends, Prayers to the

  Speaker 7: current Annunciation family, and like I said, the staff over there,

  Speaker 7: and you know, God's watching over them.

  Speaker 2: So with that said, just a couple of minutes here

  Speaker 7: You know, tomorrow night we will be in a little

  Speaker 7: bit more lively mood, I'm sure. But we got gophers

  Speaker 7: taken on Buffalo. The one thing I wanted to say

  Speaker 7: about this game is you know, Buffalo is not a

  Speaker 7: bad MAC team, and they have done very well in

  Speaker 7: the MAC. And we you know, we're not going to

  Speaker 7: talk about bowling greens and upsets and things like that,

  Speaker 7: but I will say this, and this has kind of

  Speaker 7: been the consensus too from local sports media, local Gopher

  Speaker 7: podcasting and things like that.

  Speaker 2: Expect us to maybe be a tough game in the

  Speaker 7: Let's hope not, but you're never know, and that's why

  Speaker 7: we got to play it on the field. But a

  Speaker 7: lot of people are like, look, man, Buffalo brings back

  Speaker 7: a lot of good players. This is a team that

  Speaker 7: is finished, you know, at the top of the of

  Speaker 7: their division, and you know they know what they're doing.

  Speaker 7: in seasons. Asked last year's team with North Carolina, Gophers

  Speaker 7: couple games, a lot of mistackles, things like that.

  Speaker 7: game like everybody else has been saying, folks can be

  Speaker 7: we got to look at Drake Lindsay, Gatorade a Player

  Speaker 7: of the Year coming out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He's finally

  Speaker 7: getting his shot as the number one guy here at Minnesota.

  Speaker 7: I didn't really, you know, I left the hardcore analysis

  Speaker 7: for people that cover the Gophers every day because I

  Speaker 7: You know, it's been a lot made about these Minnesota

  Speaker 7: Gophers who went on and big, huge shout out to

  Speaker 7: the Viking squad as an undrafted free agent. But you know,

  Speaker 7: lot of good people on the defense as well. And

  Speaker 7: although you know you got you know all American parrots,

  Speaker 7: Koy Parrish back there. There's a lot of question marks

  Speaker 7: on this Gopher squad. So that's why I'm a little

  Speaker 7: leery about, you know, making hardcore predictions in this first game.

  Speaker 7: I just here's what I'm looking for. I just want

  Speaker 7: to see them kind of.

  Speaker 2: In a sense, get better drive by drive.

  Speaker 7: So to speak, see what the game plan is. We

  Speaker 7: got some really really good receivers, we got some stellar

  Speaker 7: running backs, and you know, we should be able to

  Speaker 7: just kind of lean on buffalo, wear them down, things

  Speaker 7: fundraises with the Leukemia Society. She helps raise money for

  Speaker 7: all kinds of organizations. She gets sponsors to come in

  Speaker 7: and donate things. Our friends, you know, Matt Nelson over

  Speaker 7: at Seventh Avenue, Pizza, Oudapill's Brewery, you know, Gray Doc Vodka,

  Speaker 7: all all the people that always donate to her tailgates.

  Speaker 7: And it's really been amazing not only to get to

  Speaker 7: know Nadine and become friends with her, but just to

  Speaker 7: kind of see the behind the scenes that it really

  Speaker 7: truly does take for her and Ben and others to

  Speaker 7: pull off these tailgates because I helped them set up

  Speaker 7: last last season, and man, yeah, you're putting in people,
