- 0:34letting you know I am so ready. She has been baiting me all day
- 0:38so I'm. Telling y'all walk with me.
- 0:40OK this is our story submission. This one was titled My brother
- 0:44called me a bitch because of my sexuality so I got my revenge.
- 0:48Oh. Yes, let's get in.
- 0:50Hold on, let me get my 2. I know I'm ready, he said.
- 0:53Sorry if this. Is long but I needed to tell
- 0:55this. Also I love the podcast.
- 0:57Thank. You love you too.
- 0:59So I 41 male and my brother 36 male haven't always had the
- 1:04greatest relationship growing up.
- 1:06Different dads, same mom. So when I was 23 I came out as
- 1:10pansexual and everyone in my family was either cool with it
- 1:13or didn't care. My brother Zach not his real
- 1:16name, didn't like it when I came home from college or just
- 1:20visiting in general. He would always degrade me
- 1:22because of it. I usually let things roll off
- 1:25but this time I couldn't let it slide.
- 1:27For more context, I used to make adult content for 10 years on
- 1:31and off with my now fiance and made money as a way to pay for
- 1:34grad school and as well as a few local startups that are
- 1:37thriving. We still do content now but just
- 1:40for fun. It's not everyone's cup of tea
- 1:42but we enjoy it and have collaborated with many adult
- 1:45businesses and enjoyed free products and sponsors.
- 1:48Love that for you plus. The money from that is just play
- 1:51money now. Period.
- 1:55So on my 35th birthday my family threw me a surprise birthday
- 1:59party at our grandparents old house.
- 2:01We had a great time until it was getting late.
- 2:04Everyone was drinking and my brother came up and said that he
- 2:06wanted to give a speech. He went on to praise me saying I
- 2:10was his role model and things like that.
- 2:12It warmed my heart until the last part.
- 2:15Typing this is making me tear up.
- 2:17So he said quote even though you're a bitch for letting men
- 2:21do you up the ass and you're a bitch of a wife or whatever she
- 2:25slash he is. Remember y'all will never be and
- 2:29ain't shit. What?
- 2:32Oh. My God I my flappers are gas
- 2:38gasted. What?
- 2:40And we're halfway through the story.
- 2:42So he stood up in front of the whole family and said yes during
- 2:45his birthday after you praised me exactly.
- 2:50Oh my God so my fiance is a post op trans woman.
- 2:54You'd never know but that hurt her so much that she walked out
- 2:57and left me at the house. I had to get an Uber back home.
- 3:01I was stunned and wanted to cry but I didn't.
- 3:04I stood up. I thanked everyone for coming
- 3:06and I told him to leave immediately.
- 3:08I asked my brother why he said that.
- 3:10His exact words were quote simple.
- 3:13I hate you because people like you and that thing you married
- 3:17need to die. So I said wait, wait, yeah,
- 3:21let's hold off for that. Just a second, OK?
- 3:24Like. Red flag real quick.
- 3:25Let me continue. Oh my God.
- 3:26So I said OK and I told him you'll need me before I'll ever
- 3:31need you. Oh heard.
- 3:33That so that night I exacted my revenge.
- 3:36I only did three small things but all affected him majorly.
- 3:40But they took time because even after that he would call and
- 3:43text me being disrespectful. So #1 My brother-in-law, 55
- 3:48male, had recorded everything and clipped Zach's speech and
- 3:52sent it to me. I attached the voicemails and
- 3:54text then emailed them to his boss.
- 3:57Oh. He got fired because one of the
- 4:00businesses my fiance and I own he works for.
- 4:04Oh and is a completely unaware that he does love that number 2.
- 4:10That's just the first number two #2 at his 32nd birthday cookout.
- 4:17I wasn't invited, no shocker. But I sent a stripper and asked
- 4:21her to tell them that she was pregnant in front of his wife.
- 4:25And from what I was told, she was upset and crying and left.
- 4:28Because it's not the first time he's cheated with a stripper.
- 4:32With a stripper. Oh my God.
- 4:35Oh my God #3 I got cars, yes, cars, plural, repossessed
- 4:42because they weren't in his name.
- 4:44They're in our mom's name. So after what happened and
- 4:48showing our mom what happened, she said, she said the cars were
- 4:52stolen. Amazing.
- 4:58The whole family is in all this. I love it.
- 5:01I. Know now Fast forward to April
- 5:03of this year, he showed up to our grandparents for Easter and
- 5:07he was looking horrible. No car, no job and single
- 5:11miserable and still homophobic and transphobic.
- 5:15He said he wanted to apologize for everything over the years
- 5:18but needed help. I told him that he'd need me
- 5:22before I need. Him did not just tell you that.
- 5:25I gave him $40 and a plate of. Food $40.
- 5:30I gave him $40. And a plate of food and said
- 5:34enjoy because that's all you're getting.
- 5:37And when he was about to leave, I told him I was the one who
- 5:40sent the videos for my birthday party and the text and the
- 5:43voicemails. He got mad until I also told him
- 5:46that the startup he got fired from, I was the CEO.
- 5:50He asked why and I said you know why and I've never seen or heard
- 5:55from him since. Amazing.
- 6:00That's honestly what best story that we've gotten submitted like
- 6:06period to this time like that was fantastic to.
- 6:10Have that much mess in your closet you to You cannot be so
- 6:14hateful if you have been cheating on your wife with sex
- 6:19workers and strippers I'm you don't own your.
- 6:24Cars you don't own your cars, your mom does.
- 6:26You don't even know who your who you work for.
- 6:28Thank you. Your brother, the one that you
- 6:30hate so much. Owns the company that you work
- 6:33for. Bro stop.
- 6:35And you sat up there with your high horse in front of the whole
- 6:38family and we're like, because I hate you and this and this and
- 6:41this like you really thought that you did that right?
- 6:44You thought you ate you thought you ate but you didn't Now you
- 6:46starving. Look at you, $40 starving.
- 6:50Broke, single, no cars because mom said snatch honestly the
- 6:57brother-in-law and the mom are the G's in the store because
- 7:00they said here's the T that you need and able to get this done.
- 7:02I said this. Is so great.
- 7:05First of all, love your family. Sam's your brother, of course.
- 7:08Yes, of course. But man, what a supportive,
- 7:11lovely, you know, support group that you have.
- 7:14Yeah, with your people, who you work with and your family.
- 7:18I just love that for you. Thank you so much for sending
- 7:20this and that just made my day so.
- 7:22Good. Thank love a petty bitch God.
- 7:27Live happily ever after, Boo. I love it.
- 7:30Thank you so good. Oh my God, am I overreacting for
- 7:36thinking a teacher is a creep? Oh no yeah.
- 7:40So I just want to take a quick side note because I've already
- 7:43checked and this post has been deleted.
- 7:45It happens all the time on Reddit, but you can always go to
- 7:48our YouTube. We have the links to everything
- 7:50that we read in the notes of our red of our YouTube.
- 7:54So go there check it out. For context, I'm a girl in high
- 7:58school, but my school is K through 12.
- 8:00The grades are separated and the campus is pretty big, so the
- 8:04high schoolers are pretty far away from the elementary
- 8:06students and we have nearly nothing to do with each other.
- 8:09About a month ago, a man and no one had ever seen before began
- 8:13coming to the high school cafeteria during lunchtime.
- 8:16He did this daily, which was weird because the only adults in
- 8:19the high school building were high school administrators,
- 8:22teachers, janitors, lunch workers, and he was none of
- 8:25those. He only spoke to high school
- 8:28girls, normally freshmen and sophomores, the younger ones,
- 8:33and completely ignored the older girls and all of the boys.
- 8:37Yeah, go ahead and get this red flag early.
- 8:40Yes man, I was completely in the dark about who he was until one
- 8:45day he came to talk to me and my friends.
- 8:48He introduced himself and claimed that he had made it his
- 8:51mission to talk to anyone who made eye contact with him.
- 8:54Excuse me? He was standing behind me and
- 8:58made us all introduce ourselves. I was in the middle of a meal,
- 9:01so I didn't turn around to talk to him.
- 9:03Not to mention I was fairly uncomfortable.
- 9:06He tapped me on the shoulder until I turned to face him,
- 9:09asked me my name, and then made a joke about how I didn't want
- 9:12to talk to him. He told us he was a lower
- 9:14elementary school teacher again, working completely across campus
- 9:18from the high schoolers. The grades are so separated that
- 9:21I don't know a single other elementary school teacher.
- 9:24Right. It's now been a while and he
- 9:26continues to come to the cafeteria daily and talk to
- 9:29underclassmen high school girls. He looks like he's in his 30s
- 9:33and only makes an effort to talk to the girls who are about 14 to
- 9:3616 years old, ignoring not only older girls and high school
- 9:42boys, but also the other adults. Thank you.
- 9:45He's not even talking to the class.
- 9:46He has an. Age and a gender that he's
- 9:48staying in, and that's creepy. He doesn't speak to the teachers
- 9:53passing through or the other staff but constantly jokes
- 9:56around with these girls. When he came to speak to my
- 9:58friends and I again, I was facing him and he made comments
- 10:02about finally being able to see my face and never forgetting it
- 10:06now that he knew and how he would talk to me every time he
- 10:09saw me from now on. You bet not.
- 10:12He says this to almost every girl he talks to.
- 10:16I know in my opinion he uses creepy wording and constantly
- 10:20mentions how he likes the way the girls name sound, calling
- 10:24girls unforgettable and even stopping them in the hallways
- 10:27and blocking them from their path until they engage with him.
- 10:30Oh, I'm a get physical. Better move out of my way.
- 10:32That's what I'm saying. Send me to the principal's
- 10:35office. That's what I'm saying.
- 10:36That's what I'm saying. I wear rings.
- 10:38Too that part. Once during class my teacher
- 10:41told us that he was requesting 2 girls from her class to come
- 10:45help him out with his elementary school class.
- 10:47I thought it was strange that he was asking high school girls
- 10:50help to teach elementary students.
- 10:52My friends seem fine around him and think he's funny, but I
- 10:55think it's strange that he only talks to young girls whom he has
- 10:58no business being around. Thank you.
- 11:00And that he uses such strange language.
- 11:02Am I overreacting and assuming the worst or is he a creep?
- 11:05He's a creep creep. Creep creep creep creep creep
- 11:08creep creep creep creep creep. Red flag red flag, red flag.
- 11:13Are you kidding me? No, you're not overreacting.
- 11:15I feel like actions not need to be taken.
- 11:18I'm sorry, I'm not sitting around and waiting.
- 11:21If he's making you feel uncomfortable, that is basis
- 11:23enough for you to be like I'm a tell somebody about this.
- 11:26He's making me feel uncomfortable.
- 11:28I don't even like the fact that he's teaching younger kids or
- 11:31whatever. You know what?
- 11:32I. Mean like he shouldn't be around
- 11:33kids, period. Thank you, Thank you.
- 11:35Much less making an effort to come over to the older kids.
- 11:40And because, yes, kids, kids. But the younger of the kids?
- 11:45Thank you and making a point to be like I'm I'm going to need 2
- 11:49of you to come over where what do what, why you need me?
- 11:52Why can't you get somebody else an adult?
- 11:55TA another. Teacher or something, you feel
- 11:57me? But you go near for these 14 and
- 12:00up girls. Only the girls because I don't
- 12:03see you talking to the guys. That is a red flag in my book.
- 12:06He is a creep. I don't need any more evidence.
- 12:09Moving on, yes. Exactly.
- 12:11I'm good. This is good.
- 12:12Like you, your instincts are completely correct.
- 12:15And The thing is, and nobody around you is doing is it sees
- 12:18it, you know what I mean? And that happens a lot with
- 12:21young girls. They see this older man, he may
- 12:24be, they may think he's attractive or he's sweet or
- 12:26funny or whatever. And they're like, oh, we like
- 12:28him. You know, you're tripping.
- 12:30You are not. You're not.
- 12:32And I brought this book up. Oh, my goodness.
- 12:34So it's called Being Lolita. It's by Allison Wood.
- 12:39OK. So I didn't know we could.
- 12:40Bring props to the show. This is not a.
- 12:43Why don't? You let me know.
- 12:46Nobody is paying me to plug this, but I read this book.
- 12:49It was right on my bookshelf as I was prepping for today.
- 12:52And I bring this up because it's one of the best examples.
- 12:56It's a memoir, mind you. It's one of the best examples of
- 13:00a teenager being groomed by a male teacher, OK, by an older
- 13:03man. It happened so often.
- 13:05I remember being in high school and I lived by a Navy base and
- 13:09all the girls were dating young sailors in their 20s.
- 13:13You know what I mean? So this is so common, but it is
- 13:16grooming. This is wrong and this is not
- 13:20something that should be brushed under the table.
- 13:22And I'm really pissed off at all the administrators at school.
- 13:25Why is nobody noticing that this elementary teacher is over here
- 13:29with the high school girls talking and chatting them up
- 13:31every single day? And what do you mean you need 2
- 13:34girls to come over here? For what?
- 13:36You didn't say 2 students no. You said 2 girls.
- 13:39Yes. Absolutely not.
- 13:41I'm getting all shaky. Yeah, I am not.
- 13:44OK. Again.
- 13:46No. And it's way too easy for him to
- 13:48come over there. If the buildings are separate,
- 13:51if the grades are separate, let them be separate.
- 13:54Yes. You feel me?
- 13:55But he's over there so easy every day when he has no
- 13:59business being over there. None.
- 14:02No business, none. So no, you're not overreacting.
- 14:05Talk to your parents, go talk to the principal, the assistant
- 14:08principal, whoever you need to talk to because this is not OK.
- 14:12And if the first person doesn't believe you, go to the next.
- 14:14Person thank you OK cuz we believe you we believe you not
- 14:18overreacting. I know, Mother, you keep
- 14:23bringing these. Ones that got me all worked up.
- 14:25That's what I'm saying. They keep putting it up there
- 14:27and you see so many teenagers just putting their stories up
- 14:30there because nobody's listening.
- 14:31No one is listening. We're listening.
- 14:33We you have to listen. Gosh.
- 14:35We can't wait until something happens to listen.
- 14:38Exactly homie. I got a.
- 14:40Question for y'all, do you know what shreking is?
- 14:44And don't even worry, I'll tell you right now.
- 14:46Because you don't. So wrecking if we can go to my
- 14:51screen. For the visual viewers, it means
- 14:54to intentionally date someone that you're not attractive to in
- 14:58hopes that they'll treat you better than someone who's more
- 15:01attractive to you. There's.
- 15:02So many things wrong with this. There's so many things wrong
- 15:06with this. And while this is a new Gen.
- 15:08Z slang term or whatever, this behavior is so old.
- 15:11Yeah, this ain't none new. Ain't none new.
- 15:15So basically it's problematic and superficial because it's
- 15:19just dating is only for looks. This that's the assumption in
- 15:23this new, you know, slang term or whatever.
- 15:26Yeah. And it's so problematic because
- 15:28you're saying that there are more attractive people and there
- 15:31are less attractive people when in reality we're all attracted
- 15:34to different things and we find different things attractive.
- 15:37So your little scale is BS and we can throw that out the
- 15:39window. Right.
- 15:40But thus also assuming that attractive people you can't
- 15:45treat you right, and only the people who you think are less
- 15:48attractive can treat you right. It's like what?
- 15:51What is the? Scale on that.
- 15:53You're like, you're ugly. Come on.
- 15:54You're gonna OK. You are going to treat me so
- 15:57good too. Attractive I you're gonna hurt
- 15:59my feelings you see those comments where someone's like
- 16:01they're strapping on TikTok or whatever and you go in the
- 16:03comments and they're like oh I can tell you're gonna hurt my
- 16:05feelings give it to me it's. True, true.
- 16:07But they're ready for it and they're prepared and they're
- 16:09like, I will take it because you're hot.
- 16:11That's problematic too. Very much.
- 16:13You have to know that you deserve better than that, right?
- 16:15Yes, and instead, let's just date for what is in your heart
- 16:19instead of your ego and what's going on on the outside.
- 16:22It's like if you're driving to someone and you're like, I
- 16:25didn't think I'd see myself as someone like that.
- 16:27It's like so, but is your heart being like, that's the person
- 16:30then cool, we're good and. Exactly.
- 16:33I think that's the problem too, because I could see it on the
- 16:36other side too, where you find yourself attractive and you're
- 16:40like, well, I can treat everybody like shit because
- 16:43they're going to put up with it because I'm hot.
- 16:44Leniency. Yeah.
- 16:46That is very, very true. Whereas a lot of people who feel
- 16:50like they're less attractive feel like they're forced to
- 16:52develop a personality because you can't rely heavily on your
- 16:59looks. Listen, my husband is hot.
- 17:01I was so surprised he had a personality.
- 17:05When I met him, I was like, oh. Say that they're gonna want to
- 17:07know what he looks. Like, Oh yeah, sorry, but he is.
- 17:09But I was like, oh, he's so funny.
- 17:11And I was like, why did he build a personality like?
- 17:14You don't even have to, right? Like that's optional completely.
- 17:20Out so optional. That's the wrong way of
- 17:23thinking. Do not think like that.
- 17:27But yeah, shreking is just it's so problematic and honestly
- 17:30everyone that kind of lives by this hierarchy should stop
- 17:34dating. I'm sorry but like just stop
- 17:36altogether, you know what I mean?
- 17:38Figure out internally before you start going out and on outside
- 17:41if you don't feel like you deserve to be treated right.
- 17:44Don't do that because you're going to find someone that's not
- 17:47going to match your energy like that.
- 17:49And they're not. They're not going to treat you
- 17:51the way they deserve to be treated, but you're going to be
- 17:54treated the way you were expecting, which is lower.
- 17:57That's not good. They should have like a dating
- 17:59show, like the Voice where you don't see them.
- 18:02Oh, thank you. You hit the button and they turn
- 18:05around and you're just like, thank.
- 18:06You. I know I liked you already, but
- 18:08now we have things like pop the balloon.
- 18:10We're just off of visuals. People make decisions on day.
- 18:15I can't and they pop. It makes me so sad.
- 18:18Somebody walks and they like. Like right in front of me in
- 18:21front of me. The dating game there was there
- 18:27was a show like that seriously dating game you they were behind
- 18:30a like a cheat and there was 3 people and you would ask them
- 18:34questions bachelor #1 Bachelorette #1 and then you
- 18:38would pick based on their answers, their voice, what they
- 18:40said, everything I can't believe I forgot that yes bring that
- 18:43back bring that back let's. Rejuvenate that place, but in
- 18:49the article too, they mentioned another term.
- 18:51It was called getting shreked, which basically means that you
- 18:55were dating below your standards, someone that you
- 18:57thought was less attractive and you still got hurt.
- 19:00That is hilarious because like, you know that one quote, they're
- 19:05like you can't be like ugly and you got to pick a problem you.
- 19:12Know, Oh my God. Seriously though, first of all,
- 19:15if you were like, I'm gonna be with this person who I find
- 19:18unattractive because I know they're not gonna hurt my
- 19:20feelings, and then they actually.
- 19:22They're all hurting feelings. That really tells you that
- 19:24there's no such thing as like less attractive, more
- 19:27attractive. They're gonna treat you right.
- 19:28That it It's all. It's on the person.
- 19:30Yeah, it really is on the person.
- 19:32And it's like, but you really just gotta get to know people.
- 19:34But I know people will, like, hide themselves from you and
- 19:37until they get what they want. So it's hard.
- 19:39I feel so sorry for everybody who's out here dating right now.
- 19:42I'm not even dating. I cannot.
- 19:45Nope. Yeah, Nope.
- 19:46Yeah. I just me and my Katie cats.
- 19:48Seriously, I'm freshly. Genzy and I'm like me and my cat
- 19:53against the wrong not doing this.
- 19:55I'm not doing this. Yeah, I feel that though.
- 19:58But yeah, I thought that was fun.
- 20:00Thank you. And I also do want to know if
- 20:03people in the comments and all the different generations that
- 20:06we have, which is so cool by the way that all of y'all are
- 20:08representing Hi, if y'all could just like, I don't know, share
- 20:12your experiences dating in the different generations.
- 20:15Like now we have social media and there's different things
- 20:17that you don't really have to talk to people in person, yada
- 20:19yada yada. Whereas your generation you're
- 20:21like. Back in my day, back in her day,
- 20:25we had to meet people in person at the get the coffee shop at
- 20:32the bar. What do you mean in?
- 20:34Person gym There was no dating apps when I married your dad.
- 20:40So how does show me? We met at a club.
- 20:45Oh my. Goodness, Oh my goodness.
- 20:47In person, you just had to talk to people.
- 20:48You had to actually get up the nerve.
- 20:50Your little, you know, your heart feels all funny and go
- 20:53talk to somebody. True.
- 20:55So I would love to hear that, too.
- 20:56Yeah. So please give us your stories.
- 20:58Thank you. So there was a crazy bear attack
- 21:03insurance scam that I've just read about.
- 21:06Please. So it happened in Glendale, here
- 21:07in Southern California. Glendale, Glendale.
- 21:12So in 2024, a Rolls Royce Ghost sedan.
- 21:16Okay, so I'm not a car person but I had to look it up.
- 21:18It's like a $450,000 car. OK?
- 21:21Really. Yeah, it's crazy.
- 21:23But it was damaged by a bear. And there was, like,
- 21:25surveillance footage. It's a real grainy.
- 21:28You could see the bear go into the car and start tearing up the
- 21:31interior. And so they filed a claim on
- 21:34this car. The detectives were like, seems
- 21:37SUS. I don't know about this.
- 21:39And they sent the footage to a biologist from the California
- 21:42Department of Fish and Wildlife. And they were like, does this
- 21:45look real to you? And that person came back and
- 21:47said, Nah, he said, quote, the animal shown was clearly a human
- 21:51in a bear suit. No.
- 21:54If you could go to my screen please.
- 21:57They got it laid out y'all. This is the bear suit question.
- 22:04What does the bear have? Like a shirt.
- 22:06I couldn't figure it out. I don't know.
- 22:09It looks like the bear has closed, so really I.
- 22:13Don't know, but yeah, they they use what were those things
- 22:17called? Stainless steel meat shredder
- 22:19claws. You can see them at the bottom
- 22:21and to, you know, be like, oh, I have claws.
- 22:23And they were the inside of this Rolls Royce just scraping it up,
- 22:26Right. This is so detailed.
- 22:30Like, so detailed. So then they sent this to the
- 22:33insurance company. And they were like, oh, this
- 22:35sounds familiar because we had two Mercedes that also had the
- 22:39same kind of damage. Oh, yeah.
- 22:42So it was a whole thing. It was a whole ring.
- 22:45So this happened in 2024. But this week, four people were
- 22:50arrested and charred or sentenced.
- 22:52Excuse me. They were arrested back in 2024.
- 22:54They were sentenced this week to 180 days in jail and each had to
- 22:59pay over $50,000 in restitution. Dang Dang, and you had to go to
- 23:05jail for dressing up like a bear and insurance they're destroying
- 23:09their own cars or someone else's.
- 23:11Their own cars so they can file their own.
- 23:15Oh and see what would make sense to me, I'm not a super criminal
- 23:17or anything, but what would make sense to me is you buy a car and
- 23:21before it you have to start paying this bill, this $450,000
- 23:26car loan or lease or whatever you damaged the car for
- 23:29insurance. This is stupid.
- 23:31That would make sense to me. How about?
- 23:32OK, I was about to bring logic into the conversation but I
- 23:36figured we're not there yet, so. Logic here what is this?
- 23:38What is that laws? Because red flag #1 the bear
- 23:44went inside of the car to start. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was in
- 23:46there. But.
- 23:47I don't want the paint, I want the upholstery I want.
- 23:49I want to be the outside because we could replace the upholstery,
- 23:52because I had come from a camping family and one time in
- 23:54Yosemite, a bear did break into our car, our SUV.
- 23:57Oh my goodness. Yeah, it broke in the back
- 23:59window. Really.
- 24:01Crawled in, sat on the back seat, ate a jar of peanut butter
- 24:05that we didn't realize had rolled underneath the seat.
- 24:07Seriously. And then broke the other window
- 24:09out and then crawled out. So there was like bear fur stuck
- 24:13to the glass. There was bare footprints, muddy
- 24:16footprints, all in the back seat.
- 24:18So they do climb into cars and and and wreck some havoc.
- 24:21But this was a dude. Just a dude.
- 24:24Yeah, I love doing you so bad this.
- 24:29Is just your. Regularly old dude.
- 24:31Yeah, this is just a dude in Glendale, IN.
- 24:33Glendale. What are we doing?
- 24:34Like Valley Village, one of the guys from Valley Village, like
- 24:38just come on bro. But anyway, thank you God.
- 24:42I respect the dedication. It's slowly really smart.
- 24:44If you think about it. They would have actually like
- 24:46maybe got a more expensive bear costume because that looked
- 24:49cheap. That looked so cheap, but they
- 24:51made sure that they were caught on surveillance, right Video.
- 24:54So they saw no, no, it's a bear, you know, because when it was
- 24:56ours, like we had muddy footprints, there was fur.
- 24:59If some of that fur got stuck, what is that polyester exactly?
- 25:04They wouldn't have worked. So they made sure they were
- 25:06caught on tape. But this biologist was like,
- 25:09that's not it. Well, I respect the dedication,
- 25:12but go ahead and serve your 180 days and then pay the
- 25:15restitution and then move on. 50K and find something else to
- 25:18do with your time. Exactly, please I have another
- 25:22Reddit. I'm sorry this one is off my
- 25:24chest. I'm watching my best friend ruin
- 25:27her life because of the show Euphoria.
- 25:31You ready? Wait.
- 25:32It's a euphoria day today. Yeah, I'm excited.
- 25:35We're. Filming it gum Rao OK, let's.
- 25:37Go. We were 14 when we first watched
- 25:39Euphoria Pause. Whoa, 14?
- 25:42I mean same. How old was I?
- 25:44Don't tell people that we watch. You watch Euphoria, you just
- 25:48watched it. We just got up.
- 25:52And she became deeply fixated on the character Cassie Howard.
- 25:56Oh no. While I would usually watch an
- 25:59episode and move on with my daily routine, she reacted very
- 26:03differently. She would spend hours doing her
- 26:05makeup, dressing up, acting out scenarios that married Cassie's
- 26:09struggles, and often imagined herself in toxic relationships.
- 26:14I initially assumed it was just a phase and tried to talk her
- 26:17out of it, but she wouldn't listen.
- 26:19By the time we were 16, she told me about a boy she wanted to
- 26:22date. He was a year younger and
- 26:24already in a relationship with someone she was friendly with.
- 26:28I advised her against getting involved and encouraged her to
- 26:31put not put herself in that situation, but instead she began
- 26:34keeping things from me. Not long after, a video of her
- 26:38engaging in explicit behavior with a boy went viral in school.
- 26:42Oh no. When I told her about it, she
- 26:45kept saying he manipulated her and that she didn't want to do
- 26:47it. Although I was disturbed, I felt
- 26:50sympathy for her and chose not to push further.
- 26:52At 18, she admitted that she hadn't been manipulated and she
- 26:56had consciously chosen those actions because she wanted to
- 26:59emulate Cassie. She also expressed regret about
- 27:02making those videos and then instead that she wanted to
- 27:05present herself as pure and more traditionally feminine.
- 27:09Oh, I don't like that. Recently, with the new season of
- 27:12Euphoria being released, she seems to be reverting into old
- 27:15patterns. She has started talking about
- 27:18creating provocative content again, saying she feels
- 27:21inspired. What concerns me the most is
- 27:24that while the show clearly portrays Kashi's emotional
- 27:27instability and unhappiness, she appears drawn only to the
- 27:30aesthetic. Now my friend is talking to this
- 27:34drug addicted guy who already has a girlfriend and they're
- 27:37planning to get engaged and possibly in an open
- 27:39relationship. Not to mention she's failing to
- 27:43get into good college and is behind in all works.
- 27:45In reality. I don't know if it's because of
- 27:48the show or if she was just I'll.
- 27:49From the beginning, she was just like any other 14, you know,
- 27:52girl before watching the show. That's it.
- 27:56I don't blame the show. I will put that on there because
- 28:00there're shows about serial killers are still like, you
- 28:02can't blame that. It's like, OK, because I saw it.
- 28:05She was looking for someone to emulate.
- 28:09Yeah, but she picked Cassie. Well, there's not a whole lot of
- 28:13good people to emulate on the show.
- 28:16Who's the one who did the play? Her sister.
- 28:19Yes. What was her name?
- 28:21I can't. I don't.
- 28:22Know sorry we forgot her name but.
- 28:24Emulate her, emulate her, OK, She got good grades.
- 28:28She did a whole play. She's not working in Hollywood
- 28:31right now. Thank you.
- 28:31But she said Cassie, with her toxic behavior, her toxic.
- 28:35Relationships. The thing with Nate, the new
- 28:37season coming out, I mean, yeah, what she's doing now, I'm sure
- 28:42she wants to try and do that too, just like she mentioned,
- 28:45like that. With the content creation, I
- 28:49girl, it's it's hard with this because what are you supposed to
- 28:53do? You know, she already had voiced
- 28:55her concern and she iced her out right.
- 28:57You know, and then things did not turn out the way she wanted
- 29:01that to. Some things went around the
- 29:03school and then she came back and was like, well, maybe that
- 29:06wasn't the right thing to do, but then she's continuing down
- 29:10the same path exactly. Oh.
- 29:12Man girl, I don't think there's any anything you can do because
- 29:16she's making a choice right now and she.
- 29:18She's 18. She is 18.
- 29:20She's doing what she wants to do.
- 29:22She's I hope, I hope, I hope that, you know, she can, that
- 29:26something bad really, really, really bad doesn't happen before
- 29:30she makes a change and says, you know, this isn't the life that I
- 29:33want to live, right? But for a lot of people, it does
- 29:35go that direction, unfortunately.
- 29:39Jeez. I know, and no, it's not the
- 29:41show's fault. No, absolutely not.
- 29:43Gosh, people love to do that. They're like, if you watch
- 29:46something, it inspires people to do certain things.
- 29:49It's like, OK, but the show was inspired by people's actions
- 29:52before the show even existed. Cassie already existed.
- 29:55Yeah. Cassie's character existed in
- 29:57real life before the show was. Made so you can't really.
- 30:01No, she was just looking for a role model.
- 30:02You know, like Cassie though. Yikes.
- 30:06I mean Rue is based after the creator right?
- 30:08Like he took his own experiences and put him into Rue.
- 30:11And so these people already exist.
- 30:14They're not unique, it's just they all we were in the same
- 30:16high school. I don't like they were all in
- 30:20the same friend group. Exactly what kind of situation?
- 30:23Yeah, unrealistic. Yikes.
- 30:26Wow, I know that was crazy. I know.
- 30:30Am I overreacting for not forgiving my husband that left
- 30:32me alone for two hours during childbirth?
- 30:36Oh, I'm about to be mad, aren't I?
- 30:39Oh, God. All right.
- 30:41OK, I gave birth to my first child this summer.
- 30:45Leading up to my delivery, I was clear with my husband that I
- 30:48needed him present. After we arrived at the clinic,
- 30:51he started complaining that his chair was uncomfortable.
- 30:54OK, like I'm not having your child right now, baby.
- 30:58OK, he told me he wanted to go home.
- 31:01We live 10 minutes away from the clinic so we could get a pillow,
- 31:05have lunch and take a nap. You're kidding, right?
- 31:08You're kidding. I'm pushing something this big
- 31:10out of something this big, and your chair is uncomfortable and
- 31:13you want to take a nap? Boo Hoo.
- 31:15OK, All right. Let me rein it in.
- 31:17I'm going to rein it in. I told him that I wanted him
- 31:20here with me and that he could go home to eat a quick lunch and
- 31:23grab a pillow, but no nap. I hoped he could be back as soon
- 31:27as possible. He left, and it took two hours
- 31:30for him to return. He took that nap.
- 31:32He had called his family and friends but not my family, had
- 31:37lunch and napped on the sofa. Oh my God.
- 31:44I was fine when he was away, I had the epidural, but at some
- 31:48point baby's heart rate plummeted.
- 31:50The midwives made me switch positions and it came back to
- 31:53normal a couple of minutes after he got back.
- 31:56I had incredibly strong contractions without rest
- 31:59between them. He really was incredible and
- 32:01helped me a lot through them. But it was lucky that it didn't
- 32:04start just minutes earlier, right?
- 32:06One hour later, baby's heart plummeted again, but this time
- 32:09it was not coming back up. Doctors were called and I had an
- 32:13instrumental vaginal delivery that was very intense.
- 32:17Oh my God, I now have the most perfect baby boy.
- 32:20But I have a hard time letting go of what happened during his
- 32:22birth and it is still a bittersweet moment for me.
- 32:25I want to forgive my husband. He said he was very sorry and it
- 32:29was a mistake, but I can't actually forgive.
- 32:32I think there were two things that really anger me.
- 32:34First, the what if my baby's heart rate dropped when he was
- 32:38away? If it didn't get back to normal,
- 32:40I would have been required to have an emergency C-section and
- 32:43he wouldn't have been there to welcome our son.
- 32:46Also, to hold your hand sweetie, you know you matter too.
- 32:49Is not just the baby. The second is that I have a hard
- 32:53time asking for help. In my most vulnerable time, I
- 32:56was able to verbalize what I needed and I'm proud of myself
- 32:59for that, but he still chose to ignore it.
- 33:01Am I overreacting for not forgiving him even if he is an
- 33:04amazing and very present dad? So she gave a tiny edit I want
- 33:08to add before we start talking. She is ready, I can see it, she
- 33:11was ready. I just want to add a bit about
- 33:14his thoughts, thought process on it, even if it doesn't excuse
- 33:17his behavior. He was so convinced that Malabar
- 33:20was going to last 24 hours that he wanted to rest, to be fresh
- 33:24and ready for us on the finish line.
- 33:26But I needed him now and it was already the finish line.
- 33:29Period I. You know what?
- 33:32I could have gone without that edit.
- 33:33I don't need to hear from you. 24 hours Doctor Dad, tell me
- 33:37what experience you have that says that this labor was going
- 33:40to last. 24 hours, but even if it was 24 hours, your job is to
- 33:44be there every minute and every second of those 24 hours, so I
- 33:48don't care throw that out the window.
- 33:49I don't care red flag yes, No, you're not over your acting No,
- 33:53you're like, are you kidding me and the little part at the end,
- 33:57sorry, I didn't mean to cut you off at that moment, but I was
- 33:59like, but he's an amazing. I hate hearing that.
- 34:03I'm sorry, but I hate hearing that the feeling like you love
- 34:06him. You have the right to still love
- 34:08him, but he did this thing so dirty to you, but still feeling
- 34:12the need to like protect him or excuse his behavior when you're
- 34:16telling other people your story. You have the right to feel angry
- 34:20for yourself, hurt for yourself, feel blindsided, left abandoned,
- 34:25you know what I mean? Without having to save his
- 34:28feelings in the process. Or justify his his.
- 34:32Actions, I think that is irrelevant right now.
- 34:34You were feeling left behind in a moment where you needed him.
- 34:38It could have turned so horrible and now you're like fearful of
- 34:43that situation because if another situation that crazy or
- 34:46that like intense happened again, would he be there for
- 34:49you? Or would he leave and bounce and
- 34:52take him out? Uncomfortable thank you.
- 34:54In a chair. You better sit in that chair.
- 34:56I don't care. It is the most uncomfortable
- 34:58chair, but he lay your ass down. That's what I'm.
- 34:59Saying you need a pillow. You could have asked the nurses
- 35:01to bring you a pillow. I think they have a pillow in a
- 35:04hospital like you. And there's a there's a
- 35:07cafeteria, there's vending machines.
- 35:10Like you could have got a snack. He wanted to go home.
- 35:12He wanted to go home. The birth of your child wasn't
- 35:16enough to keep you here. I think we're good.
- 35:19That tells me the grand scale of what's important to you or not.
- 35:23Yes. So I'm good.
- 35:25You're like no, no, I'm good. I know we just met him 5 minutes
- 35:31ago. But like, I'm good.
- 35:33Divorce like. Yeah, yeah.
- 35:35I mean, we need a counter of how many times Trinity says divorce,
- 35:40divorce. We're done, we're done.
- 35:43I completely agree cuz it's not it's usually not the moment
- 35:48right? Like the moment was a big deal.
- 35:50But also you have to think in the future and how he dealt with
- 35:52this issue right now you needed him in this moment.
- 35:56Your child is going to be brought into the world.
- 35:58I am so tired of people minimalizing childbirth like
- 36:02it's you know, I don't know what a teeth cleaning like this is a
- 36:06huge endeavor. Babies and women die all the
- 36:09time. Today, with all the
- 36:11technological advances we have, women and babies are still dying
- 36:16and people are like, it's fine, I'm going to go run home, take a
- 36:19quick little nappy nap. They love snacky snack, make
- 36:22phone calls. Not to my not to my family, but
- 36:25to your people. You didn't even call any of my
- 36:27people. And.
- 36:28Tell them, Oh my God, no, no. And I'm petty enough to be like,
- 36:33you know what your daddy did when you were born?
- 36:37I write a whole book about it. You read it to him every night.
- 36:39Be like. And this was the two hours when
- 36:41Daddy went home for a nap. And throw a snack, that part.
- 36:47You know what I mean? Like if you trifle, you
- 36:50trifling, I have no energy for you.
- 36:52Yeah. And stop defending them.
- 36:54Stop. But they love to come on here
- 36:55and be like, here is the most horrible thing he's ever done to
- 36:57me. But he's a nice, he's a nice
- 36:59dad. Give me the evidence on which he
- 37:01was a nice person. Just to do that thing.
- 37:08That part, yes, well, now that we're on the I'm being irritated
- 37:13with men rampage, if we can go to my screen again for the
- 37:16visual people, this is the Galavi gang or the Pink gang
- 37:21gang, gang, gang, right? It is a women's movement that's
- 37:24based in India and it was founded by Sampat Pal Devi, I
- 37:28think. And she well did this after she
- 37:31witnessed a man abusing his wife on the street and when she tried
- 37:36to go help, this man also abused her.
- 37:39She then came the next day with with a bamboo stick and five
- 37:45other women and handled business.
- 37:46I heard that. I heard that.
- 37:49I heard that. Handle that business.
- 37:53Let's go. OK, I'm not even mad, not even
- 37:56mad. But afterwards, women in the
- 37:59community started coming up to her saying, hey, could you help
- 38:02me handle this situation? I have another similar
- 38:04situation. So her and the other women came
- 38:07together, got their bamboo sticks and proceeded to handle
- 38:09business again. And so she realized this is a
- 38:12really good situation for me. So she got the pink saris, got
- 38:16their bamboo sticks, and they formed the Galavi gang or the
- 38:18Pink gang, and they're out there in India basically.
- 38:26She is ready to handle vintage. Sorry for the listeners on
- 38:31Spotify and Apple, but she has this bamboo stick up against her
- 38:34up above her head. She is.
- 38:36Ready like full force ahead. I am so proud of these women.
- 38:41Yes. So, so proud.
- 38:43But they're doing this and people love calling them like a
- 38:45vigilante group. And I feel like that puts a
- 38:47negative connotation when they're doing it is women's
- 38:50rights group, empowerment group, You know what I mean?
- 38:55Like don't put them in vigilante.
- 38:56Like what do you excuse me? Exactly.
- 38:58As if what's happening in India isn't horrible.
- 39:02So you all we are doing is retaliation for things that are
- 39:06happening to women. Thank you.
- 39:07But the women are the only ones being demonized here.
- 39:10Yes, OK. I know.
- 39:12That's what. Yeah.
- 39:13That's why I have an issue with the vigilante.
- 39:15They're all here fighting crime. It's like you.
- 39:17Excuse me. Right.
- 39:18How about you fight the crime? Thank you.
- 39:20How about you do something about this?
- 39:21There were some things that were mentioned in India that women
- 39:25have to endure all the time because Indian cultural is very
- 39:28patriarchal. I hate to say it, but it is.
- 39:32And it's faced with female illiteracy, domestic violence
- 39:36constantly on a daily basis, child labor and child marriages.
- 39:41And we're supposed to sit by and not do anything about this?
- 39:45Absolutely not. So I'm gonna take my bamboo
- 39:47stick and that's right, I'm gonna handle some business.
- 39:51OK, yes, because nobody is helping these women, Nobody is
- 39:55coming to save them, so they're saving themselves.
- 39:56They're saving themselves. She's teaching them
- 39:58self-defense. She's teaching them to read.
- 40:01I mean, are you? Kidding me.
- 40:03It's amazing. And I when I was reading about
- 40:05them, I was just, I felt a swell of pride because most times
- 40:10women are saving other women. You know, it's like we can say
- 40:14what we want about who the protectors are or whatever, but
- 40:17from mostly what I see, women were running in and saving other
- 40:21women. Thank you.
- 40:22And so to have these women just in a system and in a place where
- 40:26they're this, they could be in probably some serious trouble.
- 40:29Yeah, for this. They're doing it.
- 40:31They're doing it and they're standing on business about it.
- 40:35Meet that end. I love it.
- 40:37So please. Yeah, period.
- 40:39Please search up the Gulabi Gang, please.
- 40:41It's spelled GULABI. If you are able, please go
- 40:45donate to their cause, OK? They have it right there on the
- 40:48website and read the word about them because they need to be
- 40:52heard again. This is what the show's about
- 40:54y'all. Everyone deserves to be heard.
- 40:57Yes, and protected and just live a life.
- 41:00Thank you. Thank you.
- 41:04OK, so if I say baby Jessica, do you know what I'm talking about?
- 41:09Only because of you. Only because of me.
- 41:11So you can go to my screen, please.
- 41:13So this is Jessica McClure Morales.
- 41:16So last week she was arrested for domestic disturbance and
- 41:20later released on bond. They haven't released any
- 41:22details. But why I wanted to include this
- 41:25in here is because she is like a where are they now for a huge
- 41:31pop culture moment that happened in the 80s, right?
- 41:33OK. So if you I would love to know
- 41:35in the comments section if where you were when baby Jessica
- 41:38happened, were you alive? Were you an adult?
- 41:41Were you a child? Because I remember it right.
- 41:43OK, so in 1987, if you could see that little pole right in
- 41:48between those two men, baby Jessica who was only 18 months
- 41:52old, fell down this 18 inch diameter well pipe that was in
- 41:56her backyard. She.
- 41:58Just fell down, I know, and she was stuck for 58 hours before
- 42:02being rescued. 5858 hours. Oh my God.
- 42:05I know it's crazy. So she was finally pulled out.
- 42:11See her right there in the middle?
- 42:13She was just walking around in her backyard.
- 42:15It was in Texas and it was wide open. 18 months and she fell
- 42:19down. Girl I know.
- 42:23Oh my God, that's insane. That is so crazy.
- 42:26She was there for a. Long time and y'all were
- 42:27watching. Oh yeah.
- 42:29It was like, so that's what I want to talk about.
- 42:31And so we saw a documentary because I was still young when
- 42:34this happened, so I didn't know all the details, but basically
- 42:37we watched the documentary a little while ago.
- 42:39That baby Jessica is basically why we have the 24 hour news
- 42:42cycle because people were so obsessed with baby Jessica.
- 42:48They wanted to know don't leave, right all day long, keep the
- 42:51cameras rolling. And so like the CNN's and the
- 42:53MSNBC's, the full 24 hour cycle was started in 87.
- 42:58Because of baby Jessica? Yeah.
- 43:02Unbelievable. So you have constant coverage
- 43:06because a baby fell down a pole? Found a well, a little pole,
- 43:10pole well or whatever. Like the two.
- 43:12And she found her way down. There inches around she was so
- 43:17tiny so I know this is terrible but I was like I found this.
- 43:22This is basically how she was stuck down.
- 43:23Ohh they did a reenactment thing.
- 43:27Circulation. I don't know.
- 43:28And I'm sure her hips were broken.
- 43:30And for the listeners, she's kind of like, both arms are
- 43:33above her head, one leg is above her.
- 43:36It's like, and then one is next. To her head.
- 43:38Yeah, she's like in a split with both of her arms held above her.
- 43:41Head. I know.
- 43:42I don't know how she could breathe.
- 43:43I don't know anything. Oh my God, I know so.
- 43:47She made it out. Alive she made it out alive they
- 43:49pulled her out and it was just like AI know baby Jessica, what
- 43:53were you We didn't. Make it out of the pool just for
- 43:54you to get arrested. You will feel me too Better,
- 43:58Jessica. Come on, Jessica.
- 44:00But yeah, when I saw that I was like baby Jessica.
- 44:02Oh my, no way. Cuz in my head she's still a
- 44:04baby but she's a good ass woman. Yes, he is.
- 44:09Yep. So if I hear anything about why
- 44:12she was arrested, I mean, they said it was a domestic
- 44:14disturbance, but I'll let y'all know.
- 44:15But Jessica. Yep.
- 44:16Thank you. I just thought that that was an
- 44:18interesting thing to bring up because we talk about our
- 44:20generations, all the different generations, and that was just a
- 44:23huge pop culture moment if you were alive in the 80s.
- 44:26Yeah. Yeah.
- 44:27That's insane. I know.
- 44:28Jesus, Jessica. Well, thank you for that.
- 44:31Of course. All right, I have my last
- 44:34Reddit. This one is a confession.
- 44:37I pretended to be my sister and destroyed her life when I was
- 44:4119. I did something so petty and
- 44:44gross to my sister that I have never told anyone and every time
- 44:48I see her now I feel physically sick.
- 44:51We were living with her mom in a tiny apartment and my sister was
- 44:54the one who always seemed to have her life together.
- 44:56Stable job, long term boyfriend, always look put together.
- 45:00I was the mess, late to everything, dropping classes,
- 45:04constantly being compared to her.
- 45:07Then her boyfriend cheated on her.
- 45:09She came home crying and I acted supportive, but honestly part of
- 45:13me felt this ugly sense of relief that something in her
- 45:15life had finally gone bad too. A couple of days later, while
- 45:20she was in the shower, I took her phone and texted him
- 45:23pretending to be her. I said she was going to expose
- 45:26him to everyone. I made it way harsher than she
- 45:29probably ever would have because I wanted him scared.
- 45:32It escalated fast. He started blowing up her phone
- 45:35then came to our apartment yelling.
- 45:37My sister kept saying she didn't send it but no one really
- 45:40believed her because it came from her phone.
- 45:42I said nothing, then he posted screenshots online.
- 45:47People from her work saw them and within a week she lost her
- 45:50job over it. She moved out soon after and
- 45:54never really came back emotionally.
- 45:56Now I only see her on holidays and she's polite but distant.
- 46:00She still doesn't know it was me.
- 46:02I keep telling myself I was young and bitter, which is true,
- 46:05but it still did it on purpose. I was jealous and I helped ruin
- 46:09her life over one nasty text. Yikes, girl, girl, that ain't
- 46:15right. That's not.
- 46:16Right. I I like, I'm sitting here being
- 46:17like, how can I be like? That's not right.
- 46:19Wrong's. Wrong.
- 46:20No, that is so wrong because she never did anything to you.
- 46:23You were just jealous. Yeah, because she had the good
- 46:27life for whatever. You had this narrative and you
- 46:29went and just ruined her life. Isn't it enough that you got
- 46:31cheated on? Thank you.
- 46:33Like you had to escalate it and make it worse.
- 46:35You were supposed to be there for your sister in that moment
- 46:38her boyfriend cheated on her. Right.
- 46:40And she came home for support. That's why you come home.
- 46:43Thank you and you proceeded to blow up her life.
- 46:47Why would you do that? I feel like she knew that was
- 46:50going to happen or something because she didn't say it as if
- 46:53she was trying to be supportive. She's like, I wanted him to be
- 46:55scared. Why?
- 46:56Why? Why did you want him to be
- 46:57scared? You know, you could have text
- 47:00him your own from your own phone and being like, this is her
- 47:02sister. I'm a whoop, yo, you know what I
- 47:04mean? Like you could have done that,
- 47:06but you did it from her phone pretending to be her.
- 47:08Exactly. You knew what you were doing.
- 47:10Thank you, got her fired and everything.
- 47:13What? Did you say?
- 47:14Thank you. I want to know that part too.
- 47:17People in the comments, comments were like, she comes to family
- 47:20events and dinners and stuff, but she's distant and people
- 47:22were like, I think she's distant from you because she might have
- 47:25a suspicion, yes, that you're the one who did it.
- 47:27Cuz who else had access to her phone?
- 47:29Thank you. You know, he's like, you know,
- 47:30your parents aren't gonna do that unless it's that crazy ass
- 47:33lady from that documentary who was doing that to her daughter.
- 47:36Wait, what? Oh my God.
- 47:38Wait, hold on. Yeah, there was a pivot real
- 47:41quick. There was a crazy documentary
- 47:43where this young girl was getting all these text messages
- 47:45to people that she was flirting with boys and cussing out people
- 47:49and everything. And then you find out that it
- 47:51was her mom that was doing it after this whole long drawn out
- 47:55situation. Because her moms crazy.
- 47:57My God. But she's not.
- 47:59That's not her mom. I'm going to assume so else
- 48:02would do that in your in your house.
- 48:04So and she probably already knew that you had some feelings, you
- 48:08felt some type of well, you guys are.
- 48:09Her, she's 19 and she's probably a little older.
- 48:11Like no way she doesn't know at that point.
- 48:15You've built this resentment towards your sister for so long.
- 48:19She felt it. What?
- 48:20That's insane. You ruined your sister's life
- 48:23and there's no way to excuse it. Wrong is wrong.
- 48:26Oh no. Yeah, she gets a red flag for
- 48:29this for sure. That up slightly.
- 48:32I don't want to do it right. She deserves it, she does.
- 48:38Wrong is wrong. Wrong is wrong.
- 48:40I don't like it, I know. Would I be the asshole for
- 48:43telling my client that I used to date her husband?
- 48:47Oh. I-28 female, Work at a hair
- 48:50salon and have a client. 29, female.
- 48:53She first started coming here in November and has been my new
- 48:56regular. The first time she came in she
- 48:58said it was funny that me and her daughter have the exact same
- 49:01name, especially since it's an older uncommon name.
- 49:05You're no Oh my God, Mom, I'm I already went to the end.
- 49:11Yes, she told me she had a husband, 29, male, which I
- 49:16didn't really care about to be honest.
- 49:19A few months later during an appointment she told me a bit
- 49:21about her husband. She said that his name was John,
- 49:24which is his fake name and that they met about six years ago at
- 49:28work and ended up getting married 3 1/2 years ago.
- 49:30We talked some more and she revealed that he went to XY
- 49:33university, which was the same university that I went to before
- 49:37I dropped out. As she kept on talking, I
- 49:39realized that John was insanely similar to my ex-boyfriend.
- 49:43However, I thought it was just a coincidence since I still live
- 49:46by the university and John is a common name and people can have
- 49:50similar interests. Fast forward to last week, she
- 49:53showed me her vacation photos that had John in it and I
- 49:57instantly recognized him but I didn't say anything and just did
- 50:00her hair. Honestly I don't know what to
- 50:02think but I'm a little weirded out.
- 50:04We ended on extremely bad terms. So is it weird to find out that
- 50:08his daughter has the same name as me, his ex-girlfriend?
- 50:12While I don't see anything wrong with having my ex's wife as my
- 50:15client, I feel a little odd about the whole situation.
- 50:18I don't want to tell her and act as if I'm the crazy
- 50:21ex-girlfriend and trying to ruin their relationship, but I feel
- 50:24like she should know. If I was in her shoes, I would
- 50:27want to know. I'm not sure what to do Should I
- 50:30stay quiet and let it be or tell her?
- 50:33She's a genuinely kind and sweet person and I don't want her to
- 50:36get hurt over nothing. And she added some additional
- 50:39info because people were asking in the comments section.
- 50:41I have questions too. So #1 she said we were pretty
- 50:45serious together about three years and planning to get an
- 50:47apartment together. We had a dog that he took #2 we
- 50:52ended after we got into a fight in his car.
- 50:54He threw me out of his car in the middle of the night like 5
- 50:57blocks from where I lived. Woah.
- 51:00Three. He was not abusive, just an
- 51:02alcoholic. I don't know if he still is.
- 51:05I think throwing you out of a car is abusive.
- 51:07Abusive, but OK. OK #4 I don't know exactly how
- 51:12they chose their daughter's name and #5 she found me through my
- 51:15Instagram account for work. My other socials are private so
- 51:19would I be the asshole? How old is the?
- 51:21Kid, it does not say I. Need to know how old the kid is.
- 51:26I need to know so bad, right? So bad because they were
- 51:30together the new couple three years.
- 51:33If the kid is any older than that, then that means that he
- 51:38literally named his child after this woman that he still hung up
- 51:43on, apparently. And in that case, she absolutely
- 51:47needs to know. And you wouldn't be mom.
- 51:52She wouldn't be. No, no guys, the tea is so hot
- 51:56and it's like I need to know how old the kid is.
- 51:59I wish I could tell you maybe I can go back and look at the
- 52:02comment section, but I didn't see anything about how old the
- 52:05kid is my. God, I don't think she would be
- 52:07and I feel like she deserves to know.
- 52:09This is my child that I'm sharing with this with this guy
- 52:13and I needed to know the reason you brought up my name.
- 52:15Yes. So let's say, OK, so let's say
- 52:17this is you, right? The kid is young long enough
- 52:20that it's clear he wasn't. He didn't.
- 52:22The child wasn't conceived while y'all were together.
- 52:25You would want to know. I think I would because it would
- 52:29probably explain no way she's hiding her behavior while she's
- 52:33doing her hair because OK, black women, we have a great
- 52:37relationship with her hairdressers like, and if she's
- 52:40all the sudden acting a little off all the sudden after I
- 52:44showed these vacation photos or if I'm not saying certain
- 52:47things, I would want to know why for sure I want to know.
- 52:51Everything, everything, all the things.
- 52:54Yes, I want to know everything. I'd be like, yes, I would want
- 52:57to know if you accidentally bumped into my husband at the
- 53:00grocery store. You know what I'm saying?
- 53:01Like I want to know all the things.
- 53:03But knowing y'all had a whole history, it's not like y'all
- 53:05dated for like a year or whatever.
- 53:06It was three years. And also, does the new wife, is
- 53:12she dealing with the alcoholic side of him too or?
- 53:15There's so many questions. I have a lot of questions.
- 53:17You know what I mean? I do.
- 53:18So no, I don't think she would be.
- 53:20Reveal the information, mom, and see what happens.
- 53:22What I'm saying just tell. Her and also how old is the kid
- 53:24but. I'm it's like I need it I.
- 53:26Need to know. Kids age please.
- 53:28No, no. Oh my God.
- 53:30But no matter what, like you named her this unique old person
- 53:34name, basically the first name that popped in your head when
- 53:37you named your child is my name, No.
- 53:40Yeah, tell me that alone. Phone is like woo, that's
- 53:44insane. Yeah, no good.
- 53:46You would not be. The asshole I know.
- 53:48And I'm like. You're like the tease.
- 53:51I love it. Well, is that it?
- 53:54That's it. That's it.
- 53:56Oh my gosh, that actually went by.
- 53:57Really. It did, didn't it?
