- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Seacrest! On air, on air, on.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:07Speaker 2: 2.7, it's Kiss FM. Good morning. How'd everybody sleep? Are
- 0:15Speaker 2: you resting, ready to go?
- 0:16Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to take a look at my aura
- 0:22Speaker 2: ring reports. See how I slept. Could be good news
- 0:25Speaker 2: or bad news for everybody right now.
- 0:26Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 0:27Speaker 1: I feel like you're in the high 60s.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Oh!
- 0:33Speaker 2: I got a record-breaking 77.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Whoa!
- 0:35Speaker 5: That is record-breaking for you.
- 0:38Speaker 2: You clocked 7 hours and 44 minutes of sleep last night.
- 0:41Speaker 5: Wow, that's amazing for you.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You prioritized your rest. And you are ready.
- 0:46Speaker 1: That's cute.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I'm happy for you. Yeah, my sleep debt's only 9
- 0:50Speaker 2: hours and 30 minutes. Very high. That's my sleep debt. Wow,
- 0:54Speaker 2: that is... See, you know, when you check this stuff...
- 0:56Speaker 2: I don't know. I've started checking it. When you check
- 0:58Speaker 2: this stuff and it's bad news, it takes you down.
- 1:01Speaker 2: But when it's good news, it really... Raises you up.
- 1:04Speaker 5: But without your aura ring, can't you just tell when
- 1:06Speaker 5: you wake up and you had a good night's sleep.
- 1:07Speaker 6: Or a bad night's sleep?
- 1:08Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't have a ring and I feel
- 1:09Speaker 1: great because I had a good night's sleep.
- 1:11Speaker 2: But I don't get good night's sleep, so I want
- 1:12Speaker 2: to know when I got a good night's sleep. So
- 1:14Speaker 2: I don't know. I toss, I toss, I toss. Matter
- 1:17Speaker 2: of fact, I almost killed myself. Put a pillow between
- 1:19Speaker 2: me and the door to go to the bathroom the
- 1:20Speaker 2: other night. I almost fell down. Now imagine that. I
- 1:22Speaker 2: got a friend that fell down and broke her teeth
- 1:24Speaker 2: because she tripped over a pillow on the way to pee.
- 1:26Speaker 1: My gosh.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Could have happened to me last night.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Look, I'm here.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Why'd you put a pillow?
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Well, because I throw my pillow. I only use the,
- 1:33Speaker 2: I have four pillows on the bed and I use
- 1:34Speaker 2: the two purple pillows that are like cooling pillows.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Squeegee pillows.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 2: And I throw the other pillows that just fill up
- 1:41Speaker 2: the space on the floor to go to bed. And
- 1:43Speaker 2: I almost tripped and fell. Anyway, good morning. Rain later today.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Highs in the mid-70s. We're paying your bills. About to
- 1:50Speaker 2: do that next. Ariana Grande, 102.7. Kiss FM. Sisney has
- 1:55Speaker 2: an emotional attachment to water bottles. I understand this in
- 2:00Speaker 2: a way because I have an emotional attachment to utensils
- 2:05Speaker 2: that come with to-go food. They're all wrapped up in
- 2:07Speaker 2: a napkin and all packaged together.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And you save them in like a drawer or something?
- 2:11Speaker 1: I can't let them go.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I got a drawer of them. I can't let them go.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I feel very guilty tossing them.
- 2:16Speaker 6: Right.
- 2:17Speaker 2: And they're all prepackaged, so if I have a picnic
- 2:19Speaker 2: or anything coming up, they're ready to go. The napkin's
- 2:21Speaker 2: in there. The spork is in there.
- 2:23Speaker 5: You know you can option to not get those, right?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Didn't know that.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:27Speaker 2: I only thought I could option for feta cheese.
- 2:29Speaker 1: No, sometimes they still throw them in, though.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Oh.
- 2:31Speaker 1: You really like just... Can't predict.
- 2:33Speaker 2: What is it with you and the water bottles?
- 2:35Speaker 7: I have too many of them. And it's gotten to
- 2:37Speaker 7: the point where they take up an entire cabinet. I
- 2:39Speaker 7: actually use an old wine rack to like put the
- 2:42Speaker 7: water bottles in.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So they're like somewhat organized, but I don't use any
- 2:46Speaker 1: of them.
- 2:46Speaker 7: I use this same exact water bottle every single day.
- 2:49Speaker 7: And I have water bottles, and they're from, like, my
- 2:52Speaker 7: bachelorette party in, like, 2013. That's crazy.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Like, crazy. But I have an emotional connection to it
- 2:58Speaker 1: because it was from my bachelorette party. And it says,
- 3:01Speaker 1: Sissany's Batch. And, like, you know, I don't know. But
- 3:04Speaker 1: why do I keep these?
- 3:05Speaker 7: Like, why do I have, like, a Tate McRae water
- 3:07Speaker 7: bottle in there that I'm never using?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to get past that.
- 3:11Speaker 1: You gotta donate all of it.
- 3:12Speaker 2: That just sounds like a bunch of clutter. I think
- 3:14Speaker 2: the clutter is worse over time than all those connections. Mikayla,
- 3:17Speaker 2: how many you got? How many water bottles do you
- 3:19Speaker 2: have roaming around?
- 3:19Speaker 1: I have at least 10. And I'm like, Sissy, I
- 3:22Speaker 1: have some from bachelorette parties.
- 3:23Speaker 6: You see?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Why is this just a popular bachelorette gift? Hydration?
- 3:27Speaker 5: I literally, the weekend I got back from my bachelorette party,
- 3:31Speaker 5: I donated my water bottle from mine. Like, I have
- 3:33Speaker 5: zero attachment to, I don't have attachment to things. Like,
- 3:37Speaker 5: I don't know what it is.
- 3:38Speaker 1: I don't like who made the watch.
- 3:39Speaker 7: Somebody took time to like get that made on Etsy
- 3:42Speaker 7: or they made it.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And it's just like, you just wasted it.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Thank them in person and move on. Ronnie, you have
- 3:48Speaker 2: a lot of water bottles.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I have tons. I'm like Sisney too.
- 3:51Speaker 8: And they're all stored in my dishwasher. I can't even
- 3:53Speaker 8: use my dishwasher because I have no storage for.
- 3:56Speaker 4: These water bottles. I have the same, like that's rep parties.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I have birthday parties. I store things in my oven.
- 4:04Speaker 2: And if I ever need to do anything in my oven,
- 4:05Speaker 2: I have to take all my things, my bread out.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Oh my God. My parents used to do that.
- 4:09Speaker 7: And it's so annoying because you always have to check
- 4:10Speaker 7: the oven before you start it.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I would forget. My mom did it and I'd
- 4:14Speaker 2: do it. Yeah.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Putting pans in there is actually really smart.
- 4:17Speaker 2: No. As a frifty college student at USC, our intern,
- 4:20Speaker 2: do you have a bunch of water bottles you attach
- 4:22Speaker 2: to yours?
- 4:23Speaker 9: I have five, but each one has a purpose. One
- 4:26Speaker 9: is on my bedside table, one stays in my car,
- 4:28Speaker 9: and one I take with me everywhere.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Look at that. The youth of America practical.
- 4:33Speaker 1: How often do you wash in these water bottles?
- 4:36Speaker 5: Not often. They don't need to be washed.
- 4:38Speaker 1: They need to be washed every day.
- 4:46Speaker 2: All right, good morning. Ryan Seacrest on air with you
- 4:49Speaker 2: at Kiss FM, streaming on the iHeartRadio app. So Tanya
- 4:52Speaker 2: was telling me that she asked Robbie to hide ice
- 4:54Speaker 2: cream from her because she has no self-discipline. I am
- 4:56Speaker 2: the same. You get a good flavor and you know
- 4:59Speaker 2: it's there. It's the problem with having it there in
- 5:02Speaker 2: your freezer.
- 5:03Speaker 5: I don't think you understand. He brought home these four
- 5:06Speaker 5: quarts of this ice cream that have just amazing chunks
- 5:10Speaker 5: in them.
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's the thing. When you go chunk diving, you discover chunks.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Big chunks of carrot cake.
- 5:15Speaker 5: Big chunks of German chocolate cake. No, I'm telling you.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Cookie dough, maybe, but carrot cake?
- 5:22Speaker 5: So we had it. And so throughout the weekend, I
- 5:25Speaker 5: kept going back with like my spoon. I would just
- 5:26Speaker 5: like take a spoonful.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I know.
- 5:28Speaker 2: And you put it away. No.
- 5:29Speaker 5: And so I said, I go, babe, I need you
- 5:31Speaker 5: to hide the ice cream from me. And when I
- 5:33Speaker 5: really want it, I'll ask you if I asked three times, like,
- 5:36Speaker 5: give it to me. So he, so he goes in
- 5:39Speaker 5: and he hides it.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Okay.
- 5:40Speaker 5: We only have one freezer.
- 5:42Speaker 2: And then we're going to hide it. You have to
- 5:43Speaker 2: hide in a cool place.
- 5:44Speaker 5: We have one freezer inside. And then we have one
- 5:46Speaker 5: freezer in our garage.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:47Speaker 5: So I'm like, I don't, it's only been one day.
- 5:49Speaker 5: I can't ask him for the ice cream. So I
- 5:51Speaker 5: went looking for it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Okay. I went digging through the outside freezer.
- 5:57Speaker 5: It's nowhere to be found. I think he took it
- 5:59Speaker 5: to his parents' house to hide it in there.
- 6:01Speaker 2: No, I swear. Because you only have two locations of
- 6:04Speaker 2: which you searched. He knows you.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Yes.
- 6:06Speaker 2: He's being a good partner by keeping it away from you.
- 6:08Speaker 6: Yes.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I do get it, though. Here, let me send you
- 6:12Speaker 2: a picture of my freezer currently.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Okay, let me see.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Take a look at this. This is my freezer right now.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And I have these flavors in my freezer.
- 6:20Speaker 1: This is such a dude freezer. Why is it a
- 6:22Speaker 1: dude freezer? It's like meat and ice cream.
- 6:24Speaker 5: And jasmine white rice.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And popsicles.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Why is the rice in the freezer?
- 6:28Speaker 2: Because you need rice every.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Once in a while.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Yeah, it's easy.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Just put it in the microwave.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So it's all make your own rice. Come on. No,
- 6:35Speaker 2: it's quicker. It's all ice cream and frozen fish and
- 6:38Speaker 2: frozen chicken.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Meat and protein and ice cream.
- 6:41Speaker 1: That's a lot of ice cream. It's a lot of
- 6:44Speaker 1: ice cream. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12,
- 6:48Speaker 1: 13 small pints of ice cream.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know which flavor I was going to love.
- 6:52Speaker 2: So I got cookie dough. I got candy bar. I
- 6:54Speaker 2: got coffee. I got cappuccino. I got peanut butter, chocolate.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You have nothing in your drawers, nothing on your door.
- 7:00Speaker 2: No, just that.
- 7:03Speaker 1: It's impressive.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Brown butter almond brittle. I mean, they sell me with
- 7:07Speaker 2: the title.
- 7:08Speaker 5: But how do you not go in there all the
- 7:09Speaker 5: time with a spoon?
- 7:10Speaker 2: It's a problem. I get a smaller spoon. So what
- 7:13Speaker 2: I do is I start with a large spoon. And
- 7:14Speaker 2: then when I go back for the second time, I
- 7:16Speaker 2: get a tiny spoon.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I think it's cute. You have the Johnny Pops popsicles.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Is that for your niece?
- 7:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 2: She comes over.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah. You got to have the popsicles.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Those are not for him.
- 7:24Speaker 2: The popsicles are not for me. They're for when she visits.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cute.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I'm with you. There are two things. There's Quinn's pretzels.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I like the pretzel with the almond butter and honey
- 7:32Speaker 2: inside or maple syrup inside. I can't stop.
- 7:34Speaker 4: And the ice cream.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I somehow is my as new dairy in it. So
- 7:38Speaker 2: I somehow think it's good for me. Sure.
- 7:41Speaker 5: You should try this passion fruit ice cream.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I don't like fruit ice cream.
- 7:45Speaker 5: No, I thought the same.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I'm not going to change it. At my age, I
- 7:48Speaker 2: do not change flavor.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Profiles. Yeah.
- 7:51Speaker 7: Also, if you have a palette for carrot cake ice cream,
- 7:54Speaker 7: which I don't know that we would love.
- 7:55Speaker 5: If you tried it, I promise you would love it.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I'm not going to waste my calories on a carrot
- 7:59Speaker 2: cake ice cream.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's like saying, are we on asparagus sorbet?
- 8:03Speaker 3: No.
- 8:03Speaker 9: No.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Asparagus sorbet.
- 8:06Speaker 2: No. People love it. All right, coming up, speaking of
- 8:08Speaker 2: these foods, a condiment that will help you with cold
- 8:10Speaker 2: and flu season in a quote of the day next.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Let's kiss FM. Now, cold and flu season here. So
- 8:16Speaker 2: UCLA is reporting this study they did in Westwood that
- 8:20Speaker 2: if you eat some of this every day, it's going
- 8:21Speaker 2: to increase your viral immunity in about a week. And
- 8:24Speaker 2: that is mustard because it contains turmeric. Turmeric.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I was like, who's Eric?
- 8:31Speaker 5: He's giving epitome.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Epitome.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Turmeric?
- 8:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 2: People say turmeric.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Turmeric.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's got that in it. And mustard, I love it.
- 8:40Speaker 2: I feel like it's a better option than ketchup. So
- 8:43Speaker 2: mustard can help. And here's your quote of the day.
- 8:45Speaker 2: If you look at life through a lens of a quote,
- 8:48Speaker 2: it's a good way to do it. When you get there,
- 8:51Speaker 2: don't be so busy looking for the next thing that
- 8:53Speaker 2: you forget how you got there.
- 8:58Speaker 5: It's true.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Beautiful.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's weird.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Why is it weird? Sometimes they can put things into
- 9:04Speaker 2: perspective in a way that.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Things can't yeah and there you go 102.7 kiss of
- 9:12Speaker 2: them mars kiss after seven o'clock caught on the line
- 9:16Speaker 2: upset that her friend shared her halloween costume in a
- 9:19Speaker 2: group chat she wants to know if she's right to
- 9:24Speaker 2: be upset we are fine to take that call and
- 9:27Speaker 2: be the judge of that First, CISNI, the headlines. KISS
- 9:31Speaker 2: FM headlines with CISNI.
- 9:32Speaker 7: Well, a flood watch will be in effect from this
- 9:34Speaker 7: afternoon through tomorrow afternoon for parts of Malibu, Pacific Palisades,
- 9:38Speaker 7: and the Santa Monica Mountains as a Pacific storm is
- 9:41Speaker 7: heading our way. Mayor Karen Bass announced that utility shutoffs
- 9:45Speaker 7: for LADWP customers struggling with high bills will be paused
- 9:51Speaker 7: through the end of the year. Small businesses in L.A.
- 9:54Speaker 7: County can apply to become official L.A. 28 Olympic partners,
- 9:58Speaker 7: allowing them to use the game's emblem on products that
- 10:02Speaker 7: they make locally. And nearly $ 1 million in rare trading cards,
- 10:06Speaker 7: including highly valued Pokemon cards, were stolen from a FedEx
- 10:11Speaker 7: truck in Orange County.
- 10:12Speaker 2: L.A. 's number one hits music station. This is KISS.
- 10:19Speaker 2: All right, before we get into the bill we're going
- 10:21Speaker 2: to pay this hour, at KissFM.com, keyword bills to get
- 10:24Speaker 2: your bills paid. Brenda is on the line. Halloween is
- 10:27Speaker 2: coming up. It's time to start honing in on the
- 10:30Speaker 2: candy you're going to give out, what you're going to
- 10:32Speaker 2: dress your kids as, or what you're going to be
- 10:34Speaker 2: if you're doing something. Brenda, good morning. How are you?
- 10:40Speaker 2: Good morning, good morning. Well, we're glad to have you here.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Halloween is on our doorstep. What did your friend share
- 10:48Speaker 2: in the group chat about your costume and why are
- 10:50Speaker 2: you upset?
- 10:52Speaker 6: Okay.
- 10:52Speaker 3: So I bought a Halloween costume.
- 10:54Speaker 6: I'm like super excited about it. I sent a picture to.
- 10:57Speaker 3: My best friend and I asked her like, you know,
- 10:59Speaker 3: she thought it was cute and everything.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And she was like, yeah, it looks great.
- 11:02Speaker 3: I love it.
- 11:04Speaker 4: And then all of a sudden she posted in our
- 11:06Speaker 4: group chat, like with all her friends joking about how
- 11:09Speaker 4: revealing it was and everyone started commenting on it.
- 11:12Speaker 3: And then like the whole group has seen the costume
- 11:14Speaker 3: and like I confronted my friend and she's like, uh,
- 11:18Speaker 3: that I was overreacting. She was like, oh, it's.
- 11:23Speaker 6: But I just sent it to you.
- 11:24Speaker 9: So, I mean, I don't know if I'm making a
- 11:26Speaker 9: big deal out of this, you know, with my friends
- 11:28Speaker 9: out of line to show my pictures out.
- 11:29Speaker 2: What was everybody's opinion of it?
- 11:30Speaker 3: I mean, some of them were saying it was revealing
- 11:33Speaker 3: and some of them were liking it. Like, it was like,
- 11:36Speaker 3: but it was like, they were like, oh yeah, it
- 11:37Speaker 3: is a little revealing.
- 11:38Speaker 2: But I mean, it's Halloween.
- 11:39Speaker 6: You get to dress up, you know?
- 11:41Speaker 2: When did that rule start? That Halloween became nudity? When
- 11:44Speaker 2: did it just become the most provocative of all the holidays?
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's not. I don't know, probably college.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I don't feel like I remember that as a kid.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Not in Atlanta.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Yeah, like end of high school, college.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I don't think so. We were dressing up in like
- 12:02Speaker 2: Disneyland characters, full body suits.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You are not doing that.
- 12:06Speaker 5: It's the only holiday where you dress up. Like you
- 12:08Speaker 5: don't dress up for Christmas.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I do.
- 12:09Speaker 2: No, you don't. A dress up. Nice.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Right.
- 12:13Speaker 2: So, Brenda, I don't think you care. Who cares? You
- 12:17Speaker 2: like it. You've got it. They also might just be
- 12:20Speaker 2: trying to sabotage it because they don't know what they
- 12:23Speaker 2: want to be. If you like it, you own it.
- 12:25Speaker 2: You wear it. Don't care about that. Don't be so upset.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Let it not bother you. There are things in life
- 12:30Speaker 2: to battle. This is not one.
- 12:31Speaker 1: It's true.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Okay. Okay. All right.
- 12:34Speaker 2: And I appreciate you.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Bye. Yes, of course.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I love your show.
- 12:38Speaker 3: All right. Happy Halloween.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Happy Halloween. Happy Halloween.
- 12:41Speaker 8: Bye.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Bye.
- 12:44Speaker 6: Who cares?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Halloween costume. You like it?
- 12:49Speaker 5: Wear it.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Own it. Be proud of it.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Do it.
- 12:52Speaker 2: You're on Kiss Black Eyed Peas. Meet me halfway. All right,
- 12:55Speaker 2: you're sold out Jingle Ball tickets. That's the next thing
- 12:56Speaker 2: we're going to do. Tanya, SZA's become a shero because
- 13:00Speaker 2: she stepped in on a hater. What'd she do?
- 13:03Speaker 5: Best lesson in how to shut down a troll because
- 13:06Speaker 5: she posted a colorful balloon animal sculpture that she bought
- 13:09Speaker 5: from an artist named Adam Nassi. So she was scrolling.
- 13:13Speaker 5: She saw this guy, Adam. Somebody was commenting on Adam's things,
- 13:17Speaker 5: trashing his artwork, basically saying that the art is terrible.
- 13:21Speaker 5: And if anybody actually buys it, he will match it.
- 13:24Speaker 5: So SZA saw this. She jumps in on the comments,
- 13:28Speaker 5: tags the guy and asks the artist Adam for the
- 13:31Speaker 5: most expensive piece he's got.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Okay. Yes.
- 13:36Speaker 5: She ends up getting it. And we don't know if
- 13:39Speaker 5: that troll ever matched the purchase like he promised. But
- 13:43Speaker 5: she did a comment saying, being a hater gets expensive,
- 13:46Speaker 5: ain't it? And so I just love the story because
- 13:49Speaker 5: SZA did not need to get involved in this at all.
- 13:51Speaker 5: It was just like this innocent... artist and then somebody
- 13:54Speaker 5: was just like bashing him and then says it came
- 13:56Speaker 5: in and said.
- 13:57Speaker 2: For the kill.
- 13:58Speaker 1: She did.
- 13:59Speaker 5: She did.
- 14:00Speaker 2: But look, I love it too. I get why she's
- 14:02Speaker 2: the Shiro. I think it's a good move. The thing
- 14:04Speaker 2: is just the whole hater thing. I don't, I can't
- 14:09Speaker 2: read them. I can't engage. I can't look at the
- 14:11Speaker 2: comments because I don't want to see the hate. I
- 14:14Speaker 2: just don't.
- 14:15Speaker 5: It makes me want to jump in on any hate
- 14:17Speaker 5: that you guys get. People are commenting on you and
- 14:20Speaker 5: hating on you. I want to respond to them. And
- 14:23Speaker 5: if anybody's getting on your Instagram and hating on you,
- 14:25Speaker 5: I want to get in on that.
- 14:26Speaker 2: You know what we want at the end of the day?
- 14:29Speaker 2: At the end of this day, at the end of
- 14:30Speaker 2: this week, when we go to sleep at night, put
- 14:31Speaker 2: our heads on our pillows, we want a shero in
- 14:34Speaker 2: our life, and you, Tanya, can be our shero. Yes.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:37Speaker 2: You could be a shero for Halloween. I can. It's
- 14:39Speaker 2: a great Halloween costume. What are you? I'm a shero.
- 14:42Speaker 5: That's actually very easy. You just wear a cape and
- 14:44Speaker 5: a cute outfit.
- 14:45Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:45Speaker 2: It's kind of a brilliant idea.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 2: And then you put she and then row.
- 14:50Speaker 6: Row, yeah.
- 14:52Speaker 5: Yeah, that's how you spell it.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Anybody else need help today? Justin Bieber's on Kiss FM.
- 14:57Speaker 2: If you want sold-out Jingle Ball tickets, call me now, 1-800-520-1027.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I'm going to jump onto the phones here, just grab
- 15:04Speaker 2: a line, and we're going to play for sold-out Jingle
- 15:08Speaker 2: Ball tickets for Semi Capital One, the game Halloween Candy Calories,
- 15:12Speaker 2: Higher or Lower.

- 15:14Speaker 3: Calories!
- 15:14Speaker 2: Halloween Candy Calories!
- 15:16Speaker 6: Higher!
- 15:18Speaker 2: Good morning, Renee Seacrest with you. How are you in
- 15:22Speaker 2: Long Beach?
- 15:23Speaker 6: I'm great.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Good.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Are you ready?
- 15:26Speaker 2: We're going to get you some of these sold out
- 15:28Speaker 2: Jingle Ball tickets. If you can get three right before
- 15:30Speaker 2: you get three wrong, I'll give you a certain number
- 15:32Speaker 2: of Halloween candies. You tell me if it's more or
- 15:35Speaker 2: less than 100 calories per, okay?
- 15:39Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Cool. First one. Three right before you get three wrong.
- 15:43Speaker 2: The first one. Two fun-sized Butterfingers. Higher or lower than
- 15:47Speaker 2: 100 calories?
- 15:49Speaker 3: Two.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Fun size.
- 15:51Speaker 4: More.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 15:53Speaker 6: Higher.
- 15:53Speaker 2: 166, so more than 100. Six Milk Duds. Six Milk Duds.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Higher or lower than 100 calories?
- 16:06Speaker 6: Lower. Yes.
- 16:07Speaker 2: I am not a milk dud dude. Is anybody a
- 16:10Speaker 2: milk dud person? I mean.
- 16:12Speaker 6: I love milk duds.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:14Speaker 5: I don't reach for them, but I don't have them.
- 16:16Speaker 5: They get stuck in your teeth and you can have
- 16:17Speaker 5: them for longer.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Is that the malt?
- 16:19Speaker 1: Cavities.
- 16:21Speaker 2: I go for peanuts. I go for chocolate. Oh, speaking
- 16:23Speaker 2: of peanuts. Okay, fine.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Here, listen.
- 16:25Speaker 2: 10 peanut M & Ms higher or lower than 116
- 16:28Speaker 2: calories for the win? Uh.
- 16:37Speaker 6: I'm going to say higher.
- 16:42Speaker 4: You're right. You got it.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Wow.
- 16:45Speaker 2: You did it. Yes, higher. 116 calories for 10 M &
- 16:48Speaker 2: Ms that are peanuts. We will see you at our
- 16:51Speaker 2: sold-out Jingle Ball.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Nice.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Thank you for listening.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Always. I love you guys.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Love you.
- 17:00Speaker 5: Love you.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I don't even dabble in the regular M & Ms anymore.
- 17:03Speaker 2: If I'm going to go M & M, I want
- 17:04Speaker 2: the peanut inside the M & M with the shell
- 17:06Speaker 2: and the chocolate.
- 17:07Speaker 1: For sure.
- 17:08Speaker 2: So good. That yellow bag screams so good. That's the
- 17:12Speaker 2: one I would go to. So you're probably asking, what's
- 17:15Speaker 2: the one you would go to in a hotel mini
- 17:17Speaker 2: bar if you could? That one. The peanut M &
- 17:19Speaker 2: Ms yellow bag.
- 17:22Speaker 4: Either that or gummy bears.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I do love a gummy bear.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. I am not a fruity candy guy.
- 17:26Speaker 2: I like it all.
- 17:29Speaker 5: No.
- 17:30Speaker 2: We could definitely be roommates. I'm not touching the candy gum.
- 17:33Speaker 5: Perfect.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Kiss FM. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Kiss FM.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Kendrick Cesar, all the stars. Okay. Let me grab Darren.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Now we got this email at random. Sometimes you just
- 17:50Speaker 2: get different stories and when we read them and it
- 17:53Speaker 2: strikes us and touches us and moves us, I want
- 17:55Speaker 2: to share it on the air. This one did Darren
- 17:57Speaker 2: on the phone. Good morning, Darren. Thanks for reaching out
- 17:59Speaker 2: and Hawthorne. How are you?
- 18:01Speaker 3: I'm good.
- 18:01Speaker 2: How are you? Great. I'm going to read the email,
- 18:04Speaker 2: which is just so wonderful. You know, we do Ryan's Roses,
- 18:08Speaker 2: so it's nice to hear about good relationships as well.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Let me read this, everybody. Darren writes into our email
- 18:14Speaker 2: and says, I'm reaching out because I would love the
- 18:16Speaker 2: opportunity to do something special for my partner, a woman
- 18:19Speaker 2: who has been working so hard to keep us going
- 18:21Speaker 2: through a difficult time. Her name is Heidi. Recently, I
- 18:25Speaker 2: was laid off from my job, and then a few
- 18:27Speaker 2: days later, my work truck got broken into. Since then,
- 18:30Speaker 2: we've been struggling to make ends meet. And through it all,
- 18:32Speaker 2: my partner has continued to work hard, carrying the weight
- 18:35Speaker 2: of our financial responsibilities while doing everything she can to
- 18:38Speaker 2: keep us afloat. I, Darren here, may not have the
- 18:42Speaker 2: financial means to give her the special moment she deserves,
- 18:45Speaker 2: but I'd love to find a way to make her
- 18:47Speaker 2: feel appreciated, to make her feel loved. I'm hoping you
- 18:52Speaker 2: might be able to help me surprise her with something,
- 18:54Speaker 2: whether it's a shout-out on the radio, an experience, or
- 18:57Speaker 2: any little gesture to brighten her day. With gratitude and hope,
- 19:00Speaker 2: someone who just wants to make their partner smile. Darren,
- 19:03Speaker 2: I love you. This is so nice.
- 19:07Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 19:08Speaker 2: How'd you meet her? Give me a quick story.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Online, actually.
- 19:15Speaker 4: See, it can happen.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Been together how long?
- 19:18Speaker 5: Twelve.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Okay. All right, I'm going to call her right now.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Here we go. Heidi, are you with us?
- 19:27Speaker 6: Uh, yeah, this is Chief.
- 19:29Speaker 3: This is Ryan.
- 19:30Speaker 4: Yes, it is. How are you, Heidi?
- 19:32Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest?
- 19:33Speaker 6: No way.
- 19:34Speaker 3: I'm good. How are you?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Good. I got your partner on the line, Darren. Let
- 19:38Speaker 2: me tell you why I'm calling, Heidi. He wrote the
- 19:41Speaker 2: sweetest letter that he will read to you later about,
- 19:45Speaker 2: you know, what he's going through the job and the
- 19:46Speaker 2: work trucking and broken into and now you have been
- 19:49Speaker 2: carrying the weight and just how amazing and devoted and
- 19:52Speaker 2: wonderful you have been. And he wants to do something
- 19:56Speaker 2: special for you just to show his gratitude. What a
- 19:59Speaker 2: good guy. And what a great relationship. We love you both.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Oh my God.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Are you serious?
- 20:07Speaker 1: You did that?
- 20:08Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Well, thank you.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I mean.
- 20:12Speaker 2: You're very welcome.
- 20:14Speaker 6: I know we're going through a hard time right now.
- 20:16Speaker 6: I mean, I know.
- 20:19Speaker 3: It's... You.
- 20:21Speaker 6: Know, we just have to... Like, I always remind you...
- 20:23Speaker 6: I'm emotional right now. I wasn't expecting this call, so...
- 20:28Speaker 6: I always remind you, you know, don't lose hope and faith, right? Like,
- 20:32Speaker 6: as long as we have each other, our kids, our families.
- 20:37Speaker 6: And I know money plays.
- 20:39Speaker 3: A big factor on that, but we will get through
- 20:42Speaker 3: it together.
- 20:42Speaker 6: We're always a team.
- 20:44Speaker 3: And I always tell you that when one door closes,
- 20:49Speaker 3: another one door opens. I'm a firm believer of that
- 20:52Speaker 3: for better opportunity.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Today's a great example of that, right?
- 20:55Speaker 3: I don't know if he found you guys, but last
- 20:58Speaker 3: week he was offered a job recently and today's his
- 21:02Speaker 3: first day of work. So that's why I thought he
- 21:04Speaker 3: was calling like something happened. Like, oh my goodness, what
- 21:07Speaker 3: is it now?
- 21:07Speaker 2: So.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Um, but again, thank you. Um, I don't know what
- 21:11Speaker 3: that email is about, but you can tell me later,
- 21:13Speaker 3: but I wasn't expecting this one. He knows I'm not,
- 21:16Speaker 3: you know, I'm a big fan. I just listened to
- 21:18Speaker 3: Ryan's roses. I was going to tell him about it
- 21:20Speaker 3: when he gets home.
- 21:22Speaker 2: This is the opposite of Ryan's roses. If we had
- 21:25Speaker 2: more of you in the world, there'd be no Ryan's roses.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:29Speaker 6: So, um, yeah, thank you. We were always in this team.
- 21:33Speaker 6: I mean, together, you're welcome.
- 21:34Speaker 3: And, um, We'll get by slowly but surely. I mean,
- 21:39Speaker 3: I know we went from two incomes to one, now
- 21:41Speaker 3: back to two. But I love you. And, again, I
- 21:45Speaker 3: wasn't expecting this call.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Well, Heidi, we want to just listen in forever on
- 21:50Speaker 2: your lives because I love how sweet this whole thing is.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Let me tell you what we're going to do. Congratulations, Darren,
- 21:57Speaker 2: on day one of the job. To celebrate, we're going
- 21:59Speaker 2: to send you to our sold-out Jingle Ball. We'll give
- 22:01Speaker 2: you tickets to that for a little experience outing.
- 22:05Speaker 3: No way. No way.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll take care of that. And I'm going to
- 22:11Speaker 2: give you $ 1, 000 in cash to go nuts, whatever you
- 22:13Speaker 2: want to do.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Oh, wow.
- 22:16Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Are you serious right now? Thank you.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Enjoy.
- 22:21Speaker 4: I deeply appreciate it.
- 22:23Speaker 2: It's our pleasure to do it.
- 22:24Speaker 6: I was not expecting that. Oh, my God. Thank you.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I mean, we have, like, car expenses right now, so
- 22:30Speaker 3: that will help.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Out a lot.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Well, let's get it done. We'll get it to you
- 22:32Speaker 2: right away. $ 1, 000 cash tickets to our Jingle Ball. And
- 22:34Speaker 2: we will see you at our Jingle Ball. So, Heidi
- 22:37Speaker 2: and Darren, I hope to meet you soon.
- 22:38Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 22:40Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I appreciate it. Hi, sister.
- 22:44Speaker 3: Hi.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Hi.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Hi.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 22:48Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 22:51Speaker 2: I appreciate you guys. Thank you for listening. And thank
- 22:54Speaker 2: you for the amazing example you are for couples because
- 22:57Speaker 2: I now want to get married.
- 22:59Speaker 5: Oh, wow, that's big.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Oh, thank you.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Thank you. All right.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Hang on one second. You too.
- 23:07Speaker 6: You too.
- 23:08Speaker 2: You just know when good people are good people, and
- 23:10Speaker 2: she and they are good people, and that's done.
- 23:12Speaker 1: 100.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Don't hesitate to send me any good stories via email
- 23:16Speaker 2: like Darren did. That could happen. She's going to be
- 23:19Speaker 2: in our sold-out jingle ball presented by Capital One. Olivia
- 23:23Speaker 2: Rodrigo and your tickets next to win. Let's talk about
- 23:26Speaker 2: the power bills. LADWP, the bill is out of control
- 23:30Speaker 2: across L.A., not just homeowners feeling it. Restaurants, too. Have
- 23:34Speaker 2: you seen the– I mean, obviously, you've seen your statement,
- 23:36Speaker 2: your bill. People are posting their bills on social media
- 23:40Speaker 2: because of some of the amounts that Susan, you have
- 23:42Speaker 2: some details about these posts.
- 23:44Speaker 7: So it's going viral at this point because the bills
- 23:47Speaker 7: are crazy. Like we were charged double for this round
- 23:51Speaker 7: of bills from like the summer, the same time last year.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Like how do you go from double? Nothing has changed
- 23:56Speaker 1: in our household.
- 23:57Speaker 2: We're saying we use more electricity in those hotter temperatures.
- 24:01Speaker 2: And that's why they have an equation and an approval
- 24:03Speaker 2: process to do this. But look at some of these bills.
- 24:06Speaker 7: Yeah, one homeowner posted that his bill was more than.
- 24:10Speaker 1: $ 3, 000.
- 24:11Speaker 7: Cantor's Deli was hit with a $ 35, 000 bill. Now, these
- 24:15Speaker 7: are for two months because that's how LADWP works. It's
- 24:18Speaker 7: every other month you get charged.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But it's insane. And I'm not alone here. I've talked
- 24:22Speaker 1: to all of my friends.
- 24:23Speaker 7: All of their bills have doubled as well. We just
- 24:26Speaker 7: don't understand where all these hidden charges are coming from.
- 24:29Speaker 7: coming in with LADWP, a petition is now going around
- 24:33Speaker 7: social media. It started with like, oh, let's try to
- 24:34Speaker 7: get like a thousand signatures and it's already close to 30,000.
- 24:37Speaker 7: They're trying to get it to 50,000 people signing this
- 24:40Speaker 7: petition because they want an audit.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Like we all want an audit.
- 24:44Speaker 2: You want to be looked into. I mean, we've seen
- 24:46Speaker 2: some of the careless spending, right? You've seen that around
- 24:50Speaker 2: the city. So now what and why? And like I said,
- 24:55Speaker 2: there is... a governing body, there is a process, there
- 24:59Speaker 2: are approvals, but the LA city controller is now going
- 25:01Speaker 2: to look into it, which is good news because yeah,
- 25:03Speaker 2: when you compare it to a year ago and if
- 25:06Speaker 2: it's going to be hotter and hotter, is it going
- 25:07Speaker 2: to increase every summer?
- 25:10Speaker 7: Well, and this is actually kind of interesting because just yesterday,
- 25:13Speaker 7: Karen Bass announced that utility shutoffs for LADWP customers struggling
- 25:18Speaker 7: with these high bills will be paused through the end
- 25:22Speaker 7: of the year. So that's a little bit of good news,
- 25:24Speaker 7: I guess.
- 25:25Speaker 2: At least the heat's gone for the moment.
- 25:27Speaker 4: For the moment.
- 25:28Speaker 2: The rain's here. Young Ronnie in the back room who's
- 25:31Speaker 2: out filling up your tank with free gas on a regular.
- 25:34Speaker 2: He's been eyeing you. Ronnie is eyeing new cars. What
- 25:38Speaker 2: happened to your car car?
- 25:40Speaker 8: So I had this car for a long time, but
- 25:43Speaker 8: then the engine basically gave out and exploded on me.
- 25:46Speaker 8: I have no idea how it happened. And I'm not
- 25:48Speaker 8: a car person, clearly. So I did not want to
- 25:51Speaker 8: get a new car because... I don't really know about them.
- 25:54Speaker 8: What did you drive? How did it explode? What happened?
- 26:00Speaker 4: It's a funny story.
- 26:01Speaker 8: Basically, the gas light was on. Not the gas light,
- 26:03Speaker 8: the engine light, sorry. And I never checked it. Because sometimes,
- 26:08Speaker 8: you know, lights come on and I'm like, okay, whatever,
- 26:10Speaker 8: I'll deal with it. And then, yeah, my car dealt
- 26:12Speaker 8: with me before I could.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Deal with it.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Check engine is one you've got to pay attention to.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Yeah, usually it means you should go take it in
- 26:19Speaker 1: to get checked.
- 26:20Speaker 2: How are you narrowing down what you're going to get?
- 26:22Speaker 2: You need safety and value in my mind. Yeah, well,
- 26:25Speaker 2: I don't really look at that stuff. I kind of
- 26:27Speaker 2: just am like, oh, I like the color of this car.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Right, it has to be cute.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Let me give you a list of things you should
- 26:32Speaker 2: do when you have an auto. Check engine, consider safety,
- 26:35Speaker 2: consider value. Color, least important. And some colors cost more
- 26:39Speaker 2: than other colors, Ronnie.
- 26:40Speaker 1: That's true.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Might I suggest a Ford Bronco Sport? Very cute and reliable.
- 26:44Speaker 4: Yeah, your car is cute.
- 26:46Speaker 2: You can see your local Ford dealer today. We can
- 26:49Speaker 2: connect you. We both have Broncos. Yes, please connect me.
- 26:52Speaker 8: But in the meantime, I've been taking the Metro for
- 26:56Speaker 8: literally the past year since I haven't had a car.
- 26:58Speaker 8: And I don't know if I want to buy a
- 27:00Speaker 8: car now because I've just been saving up all this money,
- 27:02Speaker 8: not doing a car payment, not paying for insurance.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Or gas.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Or gas, yeah.
- 27:08Speaker 8: Like, I'm filling up people's gas tanks and seeing how
- 27:11Speaker 8: expensive it is.
- 27:12Speaker 4: And I don't know that I want that anymore. And
- 27:14Speaker 4: the Metro is so cheap.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Well, look, if you have budgeted for a car and
- 27:19Speaker 2: you're finding that you can do everything you want to
- 27:21Speaker 2: do on the Metro... then great. There's all this found
- 27:25Speaker 2: cash that you can use for lifestyle. I think if
- 27:27Speaker 2: it's working, don't waste it on a vehicle if you
- 27:30Speaker 2: don't need it.
- 27:32Speaker 4: I agree.
- 27:32Speaker 5: I think he needs it, though.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Not if he's getting to work on time. Plus, you
- 27:38Speaker 2: can borrow that Kiss van every once in a while.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Well, you know, I tried to, but they didn't let me.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Well, they will. Tell them you're going to do an
- 27:44Speaker 2: appearance on a date or something. LA Metro, $ 175 per trip,
- 27:47Speaker 2: no matter how far you go. Honestly, if you can
- 27:50Speaker 2: do it, do it. And when you're ready to think
- 27:52Speaker 2: about cars, I think the Prius is safe.
- 27:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Get Toyota.
- 27:56Speaker 2: I think a Honda Civic is safe.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Oh, a Honda Civic could be cute.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Yeah. You look very cute in it.
- 28:03Speaker 4: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 28:08Speaker 2: Well, it's going to rain today. Kiss FM. El Nino
- 28:11Speaker 2: is coming and umbrellas are going to be something we
- 28:13Speaker 2: need to pack. Keep with you at all times. How
- 28:16Speaker 2: do you feel about using an umbrella? It's a necessity. Now,
- 28:21Speaker 2: what's the issue at USC, Bella, our intern? You don't
- 28:24Speaker 2: like carrying an umbrella? It doesn't look cool?
- 28:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 28:26Speaker 9: So it's going to rain today, but everyone on campus,
- 28:29Speaker 9: it's not just me, like they think it's embarrassing to
- 28:32Speaker 9: use an umbrella and they show up to class soaking wet.
- 28:35Speaker 5: I don't know why.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Why is it embarrassing to carry an umbrella? I think
- 28:39Speaker 2: it looks prepared. I think it's practical. And then you
- 28:42Speaker 2: aren't soaking wet in class. What's the downside?
- 28:45Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 28:45Speaker 9: I think they just don't want to carry it with
- 28:47Speaker 9: them or they're in a rush.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Yeah, then where do you put it?
- 28:50Speaker 1: Well, they make them so compact now. Even like your
- 28:52Speaker 1: Wheel of Fortune umbrella that we got.
- 28:54Speaker 7: It's literally like this big and then it opens up huge.
- 28:58Speaker 2: Bella, actually, why don't I give you a Wheel of
- 29:00Speaker 2: Fortune umbrella? It's a wheel. It's the actual wheel with
- 29:03Speaker 2: all the wedges on it, the dollar amounts. You should
- 29:05Speaker 2: roll around in that, walk around in that.
- 29:06Speaker 1: So I can't use.
- 29:07Speaker 9: An umbrella because I ride a bike around campus. I
- 29:10Speaker 9: like don't have enough time between classes to just walk.
- 29:13Speaker 9: So I have to use a bike and it's hard
- 29:14Speaker 9: to steer.
- 29:15Speaker 2: What do people do that ride bikes? You got to
- 29:17Speaker 2: put on a wetsuit.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Yeah, not a wetsuit, a raincoat.
- 29:19Speaker 5: My dad wants to get me like the umbrella hat.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's cute.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Or like a face shield. It's brave and bold.
- 29:29Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 29:30Speaker 2: My mother, be careful if there's rain and you're out
- 29:35Speaker 2: with my mother because she gets her hair did once
- 29:37Speaker 2: every 10 days. And once that hair is done, by
- 29:40Speaker 2: her hair person, she cannot let one drop of rain.
- 29:43Speaker 2: It's a panic. I don't know how she sleeps and
- 29:45Speaker 2: she keeps it perfect for like a week. Sleeps in
- 29:48Speaker 2: the hair, comes back the same day. It looks the same.
- 29:50Speaker 5: Well, she probably, like, fixes it up in the morning.
- 29:52Speaker 2: I don't know, but we cannot encounter rain. Like, Mom,
- 29:56Speaker 2: can you make it two steps? No. I need an umbrella. Now,
- 30:00Speaker 2: then I carry the umbrella over her head while I
- 30:03Speaker 2: get wet. I don't care. Like, I don't even bother me.
- 30:06Speaker 5: That's cute.
- 30:07Speaker 2: But you do not want to mess with her. When
- 30:09Speaker 2: your mother gets their hair done, it's big, and it's serious,
- 30:13Speaker 2: and it was an outing. I think the rain hat,
- 30:15Speaker 2: whatever your dad's idea is, is great.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I don't, I don't hate that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: You're going to love it. Bold and kiss FM. So
- 30:22Speaker 2: what is, this is interesting. What is your snack or
- 30:25Speaker 2: dessert or food or pantry kryptonite? Tanya ice cream for me.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:30Speaker 2: I love cookies, cookie dough, cookies, cookie dough, ice cream
- 30:34Speaker 2: for me. Disney, what's yours? What's your candy kryptonite?
- 30:37Speaker 7: Mine is very specific. It's Haribo gummy bears.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I would not get near it or care. You can
- 30:44Speaker 2: get as many as you want in the pantry.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Once that bag opens, I can't stop.
- 30:48Speaker 7: I can't figure out like how, I can just eat
- 30:50Speaker 7: like five and then put it away.
- 30:51Speaker 1: There's no way.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Penny, you also like goldfish, don't you?
- 30:54Speaker 1: I love goldfish.
- 30:55Speaker 5: I actually just saw, I think Michaela sent me a video.
- 30:58Speaker 5: You can make them at home so they're healthier for you.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Oh, I saw that video too.
- 31:01Speaker 5: It's going around our algorithm.
- 31:03Speaker 2: I would prefer ice cream over the goldfish. Ruby, what's
- 31:07Speaker 2: your kryptonite?
- 31:08Speaker 1: Mine is hot Cheetos.
- 31:09Speaker 6: Wow.
- 31:10Speaker 5: That is my guilty pleasure.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Those are guilty. Yeah. Ronnie, you have a kryptonite snack?
- 31:15Speaker 4: So mine is white cheddar Cheez-Its.
- 31:18Speaker 8: They are so good. And I love when the powder
- 31:19Speaker 8: gets on my fingers so I can lick it off.
- 31:21Speaker 8: Even though that's bad, it's so good.
- 31:23Speaker 2: As a child, as a kid, my mom will tell you,
- 31:25Speaker 2: I would go into the Cheez-Its. I loved a box.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I would eat a box full of Cheez-Its after school.
- 31:31Speaker 2: So good. Now, Jordan, your snack kryptonite is dino nuggets?
- 31:36Speaker 5: Yes, it is.
- 31:37Speaker 1: It's like my favorite thing to make when I get
- 31:39Speaker 1: home from work.
- 31:40Speaker 2: How do you make them? Don't you just heat them up?
- 31:42Speaker 1: Uh, I sometimes depends.
- 31:44Speaker 7: I'll use the air fryer or the oven and just like,
- 31:46Speaker 7: that's a big snack.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I mean, that's the equivalent of me making my cookie
- 31:50Speaker 2: sheet pan nachos. When I used to get home from
- 31:52Speaker 2: school as a kid, watch Oprah every day.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Yo, I don't know.
- 31:55Speaker 1: I just like post up on the couch pre the oven.
- 31:57Speaker 7: I got a pre snack before the dino nuggets and
- 32:00Speaker 7: then boom, I'll just eat like a good 10 to 12.
- 32:02Speaker 1: And that's before dinner. 10 to 12.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Here comes a dozen, not a hay dozen, dozen.
- 32:10Speaker 3: Cool.
- 32:12Speaker 6: All right.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Well, I want you all to go home tonight and indulge.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Enjoy your dinos, your haribos, your goldfish, your hot cheez-its,
- 32:19Speaker 2: or whatever they were.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Cheetos.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Cheetos and your white cheddar cheese. Tomorrow on the show,
- 32:25Speaker 2: we are paying your bills. $ 1, 000 every hour for you
- 32:29Speaker 2: to win. I want your jack-o'-lantern to look good on Halloween.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Don't carve it too early. I'll tell you the sweet
- 32:33Speaker 2: spot of when to do it. Also, tomorrow, Ryan's Rose
- 32:36Speaker 2: is 740. There's a trail of bedbugs between she, her husband,
- 32:41Speaker 2: and her best friend. What does that mean? 7.40 in
- 32:44Speaker 2: the morning and sold out Jingle Ball tickets all morning long. Sisney,
- 32:48Speaker 2: what you got next?
- 32:49Speaker 1: I'm going to get you into Dancing with the Stars live.
- 32:52Speaker 2: What?
- 32:53Speaker 6: Yes.
- 32:54Speaker 1: You can't win, Tanya.
- 32:55Speaker 2: No. See you early in the morning. I kiss. Thanks
- 32:58Speaker 2: for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure
- 33:01Speaker 2: to subscribe and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
