  Today is Thursday, March 6th, 2025, three days away from my birthday.

  And happy birthday to myself. That was my birthday present.

  And for those of you that don't know, the one and only, the icon of world wrestling,

  Hulk Hogan, showed up to our area. And first time ever in like almost 20 years,
• 2:32
  he reached Hudson Valley.

  And yeah, I went out there and waited in line for five hours.
• 2:38
  And every second, every minute was well worth it to be able to stand there and
• 2:44
  look right into his eyes and say the following.

  So let me just back up before I tell you this, because this is an amazing story,
• 2:51
  but I want to just share one thing with all of you.

  When you go there, you know, the way that the whole thing worked,
• 2:57
  and I think Cole Kogan would know this, but I want to share this because it

  makes sense to explain it.

  So when you go there, you would purchase his beer. He's selling the great American beer.

  And you get an autograph of, you know, the beer.

  The box is signed. If you wanted a hat, you would purchase a hat and he would sign the hat.

  He was not signing any memorabilia. It was clearly noted. So there was no shock and awe there.

  But, you know, people tried. but the reality was he's promoting his beer and I understand that.

  So it was my turn, right? Here comes my turn and they called me up. I was number 13.

  And as soon as I went up, you wait in line for five hours, you wait for over 20, 30 years.

  What do you say if you're going to meet Hulk Hogan? What do you say?

  You're like, oh my God, I don't even know what I'm going to say.

  But God gave me the words and I went up to him and I thanked him for being an
• 3:47
  inspiration to me, that he was somebody I always looked up to.

  Now, a lot of people don't know this, but when I had back surgery,

  I had written to Hulk Hogan.

  And, you know, when I was going over my anniversary of overcoming those odds,

  he wrote to me on Twitter after I wrote about it.

  And I shared that with him. I said, you know, you inspired me when I was going
• 4:10
  through my, you know, my back surgery. I always thought of you.

  And when I was able to walk, you know, they were able to play,

  you know, the song, you know, I am, you know, the real American song.

  And it was just an inspiring moment for me.

  And then I said to him that I'm, as all of you know, I'm currently going into
• 4:29
  ministry school and I knew that he's a spiritual person.

  And the first words out of his mouth was congratulations, brother.

  He says, he says, you're my brother in Christ then.
• 4:39
  And I said, absolutely, man. And he looked at me and he says,
• 4:42
  God bless you, brother. I'm proud of you.

  And now mind you, I didn't get a chance to purchase the hat because the line was moving so fast.

  But then he said, excuse me one second, brother. And he called his buddy,
• 4:52
  Matt, and he grabbed the hat. It was signed.

  He gave it to me. And I said, I haven't bought it yet, Mr. Hulk.

  He says, a brother in Christ doesn't pay for that. You're not paying for that.

  And let me tell you something.

  I thanked him. I wished him nothing but good luck and prayers.

  I got to meet his son, Nicholas, Nick, sorry. And.

  As a man of of god and meeting another person that shares in our same understanding

  of the love that we have for our lord and savior when we shook hands you felt
• 5:23
  i felt like a mega power i felt as if,

  you know the blood of christ was was running through my veins as powerful as
• 5:31
  it is going through his he is a genuine person he has eyes that that when you
• 5:36
  look into his eyes you say wow You know what?

  This is a guy who truly has good in his heart.

  A lot of people will say negative things about him. And yes,
• 5:45
  there's things that he's maybe gone through in his past, but you want to know
• 5:48
  something, whatever happened, I wasn't present.

  So I'm not going to judge just like they tell us in the Bible, do not judge.

  But I will say that regardless of all that, he is still a person.

  We are all human. We all make mistakes. I'm not saying he has, I can't speak for him.

  All I'm saying is if he has, or if any of us have made any mistakes in our lives,

  we have to be forgiven. We have to understand that God loves us.

  God believes in us. God trusts us and God will never leave our side.

  And to be able to meet my childhood hero and to have that photograph that I

  will last my lifetime, I am truly blessed and I'm truly honored.

  And I wanted to just thank Hulk Hogan for taking the time to be there and to

  and always will be a wrestler but he has had so many

  tears and injuries that we need to keep him in prayer

  and also his family so i wanted to share that with

  all of you guys because i gotta be honest with you i haven't stopped

  smiling i think i went to bed with a smile on my face and i'm

  sure as heck woke up with another smile on my face so in honor of of the gentleman
