- Chris Laker: I don't know about where you're at, but it is hot in Southern California, like a hundred degrees every day. I was saying October first, heat waves are over. It's October. 'Cause that's what I thought October meant. I didn't look at the weather forecast. I didn't know. if you're in Southern California and you thought there's gonna be no more heat waves because of me, I'm sorry I misled you. I think it's normal most other places though. I think it's just fall. Like on the East Coast, it's comfortable. So enjoy that And know that it's really hot here and we're uncomfortable, which should increase your comfort, knowing there's people who are uncomfortable. I'm glad I'm not there. I'm here where it's nice. There it's really hot. I did that in the winter. When I saw on the East Coast the winter was so bad and it was really nice here, Other people's discomfort increases my comfort, which I think makes me a bad person. definitely not a good quality. I'm being vulnerable. I'm telling you my faults. So don't be judgmental. you're not supposed to judge. Don't judge. You can't judge anybody. Or I'll judge you. You wanna have a judge off? I don't think so. The people who can pull off the not judging anybody for real, it's pretty impressive. so if you're not judging me right now for what I just said, you're better than me. You have to judge some people. Like a serial killer, you can judge a serial killer. They might have had a hard upbringing and they don't want to be a serial killer. What if I was born into that serial killer's body, into that life? Would I be a serial killer? I guess. What the if I had all the same experiences, the parents the whole thing, that turned them into a serial killer? So maybe you can't judge a serial killer. But you gotta. In court at least you gotta. Can you get out of jury duty by saying you're not supposed to judge people? No, I can't. I am incapable of judging people. I don't judge people. I'm very non judgmental. I can't serve on the jury. guilty? I don't know. Who am I to say guilt? If I was ever to be on America's Got Talent and I wouldn't, I would never wait on that line, but if I was after my performance, I would stop them and say, Listen, I think you're being a little judgmental right now. why don't you take a look at yourself How would you feel? Maybe I am going through the next round. I'm gonna get to the news. McDonald's sued over AI tool that recommends prices to US franchises. They're doing surge pricing at McDonald's, which I don't understand. Because if you're going to McDonald's, it's because you're hungry and you want to eat McDonald's. It's not because it's busy McDonald's time. just raise the price if you're gonna raise the price. You need AI to tell you if you raise the price, you will make more money. I've only gone to McDonald's for three reasons. One, I'm a child, two I'm high, three, I'm broke. even when I'm broke, once I've stepped into the McDonald's, I have made the decision. I am eating McDonald's. When I look up at the board and see the price, it's gotta be pretty high for me to turn around and walk out. You are doing people a favor by raising the price at McDonald's. That they might actually say. I'm gonna have a piece of fruit. they're being sued by this guy in Illinois who says he goes to McDonald's all the time to get quarter pounders with cheese and he's noticing different prices between different stores. So I guess they're targeting different neighborhoods. in this neighborhood, they'll spend a little bit more. this guy is so upset that he is suing McDonald's. I think he should stop eating McDonalds. I I don't care he's sue a McDonald's, sue McDonalds. That's great. But while you had them in court, find out some other stuff. Like what happened to breakfast all day? Why is it so hard to get a McFillary machine to work? These are important questions that need to be answered in court as well. University of Arizona suspends fraternity activities as reports of misconduct persist. Is that new that fraternities are fucked up? that's been going on since they began. have you ever seen any movies? Fraternities are always bad. They've been bad now that they're in this news cycle because of Cornell, colleges are making a show of it or they're just showing up in headlines more because they know that it's gonna get clicks. but it won't really change unless colleges say no more fraternities, which I don't think they would do. They should. I mean get rid of fraternities. Just have friends. This formalized hazing ritual to be in a friend group is weird. And it doesn't exist outside of I guess there used to be the Moose Lodge and the Elks Lodge. I don't think they hazed people though. I think you could just join. I think the places still exist and you can still become an elk or a moose Maybe I'll look into this elk lodge, moose lodge, and join just to find out if there's hazing. if they try some kind of weird soggy cookie thing, I'm out of there though. Fuel industry warns truck stops not to sell red dye diesel after Trump lifts restrictions. That's diesel that's supposed to just be used in farm equipment. And there's no federal tax on that, It's not supposed to be used in these trucks and it doesn't seem like anybody with any knowledge is in charge of this policy, which is not surprising. This is a rough headline. Congressional candidate is raped while repairing her campaign signs. This was in Arizona, woman running for Congress fixing one of her campaign signs at two in the morning out in a parking lot somewhere. she's attacked by two men, knocked unconscious. It's very disturbing. They don't know if it's politically motivated. They were following her, lying in wait. Sexual assault it's dominating the headlines that I'm seeing. and it's not my algorithm. This is Reddit News hope these two fucks are caught and I'm hoping for some police brutality I don't like police brutality, but if it could be used in a situation like this, like these guys get arrested and get slammed into a few sidewalks, that'd be nice. The cops love to turn off that body cam. If you're arresting these two guys, turn off the body cam let out that childhood trauma that sometimes comes out on the wrong people, on these guys. Idaho High School responds after allegations that football players wrote about wanting to rape kill female students. says questionable source on the headline here in Reddit, which is weird. I don't know why it's still up on Reddit, but it has been reported by local news, so this is a real story. It's an investigation that's going on When dudes get into a group larger than three, I think you gotta break it up. They talk about male loneliness being an epidemic. I say keep them lonely, separated. It's when they get together that really things get fucking weird. Former bishop sentenced to more than six years in prison for sexually abusing young Aboriginal men Western Australia. A member of the clergy involved in sexual assault. Another group of dudes. Not good. That's the only adult equivalent of fraternity is the clergy. And what are they into? This. the bishop here is being sentenced. How about everybody else who was complicit that allowed this to go on and how many other people were also doing the same thing? Nothing against God, but any type of structure seems to be suspect. The world is nearly burned through its oil stockpile buffer. Executives say executives are saying it, it must be true. The buffer. We're losing the buffer. We're gonna run out of diesel. Then it gets interesting. Isn't that what Mad Max is about? And you know what that means, record high profits for oil companies and retailers. They raise the prices because it costs more to transport, but they don't just raise the price to cover that. You gotta put a little on top of that for yourself. then you get to blame the higher prices on gas prices. everybody makes a little extra money, which is nice. mean, unless you're not one of these companies, That's kinda your fault. Former CIA official accused of stealing forty million dollars in gold bars pleads guilty. How do you not try to run off with a few gold bars? That should be a warning. Yeah, you gotta give them back. Maybe you get fired. But go to jail. If the guy wasn't CIA, I would have been rooting for him to get away with it it is sorta stupid to run off with gold bars. what are you gonna do with them? it's just instinct to try to grab a couple. Then you just got this gold and you where with it? You go to the bank, you go to Chase Bank, say you wanna buy this gold off me? You gotta go find a a fence, like on a T V show. 40 million in gold bars, that sounds like a lot. You'd have to fill up the trunk of your car with those. And now the trunk of your car is sagging. You're driving around with all these gold bars in your trunk, trying to figure out where to get rid of them. You show up to somebody, say, hey, you want to buy some gold? You open the trunk know you're in a situation that you gotta get rid of this stuff, so you're not gonna make forty million. That's what I would say in the court. I I it's not like I was gonna make forty million off of it. I would have been lucky to get away with a couple million. after all is said and done. So let's not judge me on the forty million. Krista Pike is conscious and speaking after Tennessee failed execution, her attorneys say. when I read that she was on the ventilator unconscious, I thought she was gonna die in the hospital. they worked hard, they brought her back, and now the state can try to kill her properly. After they're done with some observation and some more tests to make sure she can leave the hospital, she will go back to jail where they will kill her. would only be right that they don't get to kill her again. Not saying she should go free. Spend the rest of her life in jail. you already tried to kill her. You couldn't do it. Unkillable. Life in prison. Lawyers seek to block Texas man's execution, citing failed execution of Krista Pike. Texas, they're not gonna stop an execution for anything. They won't stop an execution if the guy's innocent.
