Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Do you have any unwritten rules in life that you follow?
- 0:07Speaker 1: Let us know it's seven oh one two eight zero
- 0:10Speaker 1: one nine eight seven, all right, unwritten rules, Angie, do
- 0:14Speaker 1: you have any I like this one that you have.
- 0:17Speaker 2: It's that you don't touch someone else's thermostat ever. Yeah, Ever,
- 0:22Speaker 2: if you go to and I think this also goes
- 0:25Speaker 2: for the ac in the car, don't touch it. If
- 0:28Speaker 2: it is not your car or your home, do not
- 0:31Speaker 2: touch it. Now you can ask, you can say, hey,
- 0:34Speaker 2: do you mind if we turn on the ac in
- 0:36Speaker 2: the car, or hey, it's a little warm in here,
- 0:39Speaker 2: do you think we could whatever, But do not ever
- 0:43Speaker 2: take it upon yourself to just touch the thermostat.
- 0:49Speaker 1: The thought of someone just like could you imagine my
- 0:51Speaker 1: walk over to your house and you're walking.
- 0:53Speaker 3: The door and oh, hey, i's going good to see you.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Guys, and I just casually stroll on over to the thermostat
- 0:58Speaker 1: and bump that up or you to create that's wild?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Is that?
- 1:02Speaker 4: I feel like if.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Someone were to do that, it would be you. No,
- 1:05Speaker 2: but I think you are more polite than that. I
- 1:08Speaker 2: just think if you did it, I'd be like, well,
- 1:11Speaker 2: if that's game.
- 1:12Speaker 4: But yeah, I do not like it.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I think you are more polite than that is a
- 1:17Speaker 1: wild accusation.
- 1:19Speaker 3: I refute that wholeheartedly.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Yeah. No, I don't don't touch someone else's thermostat.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It's so rude.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I have an unwritten rule in life, and this is
- 1:27Speaker 1: how this whole thing started.
- 1:28Speaker 3: It's kind of that time of the year.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I will say, I believe I have a little bit
- 1:32Speaker 1: more tolerance for this. It's still completely lazy, okay, but
- 1:37Speaker 1: I do have a little more tolerance for this when
- 1:39Speaker 1: it is freezing, freezing cold. But it is not freezing
- 1:42Speaker 1: cold anymore. Put your shopping carts back.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Oh yes, I don't have any tolerance.
- 1:48Speaker 2: By the way, even when it's freezing cold, you better
- 1:50Speaker 2: put it back.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I agree. I mean, I'm with you. I agree, but
- 1:54Speaker 1: put the shopping cart back. I cannot believe how many
- 1:58Speaker 1: shopping carts I see laying out and about just a stray,
- 2:02Speaker 1: loose shopping cart in some parking lot. When you go
- 2:05Speaker 1: to Walmart or Target or insert your favorite store.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I guess, yeah, a person.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I don't understand it. There the shopping cart back.
- 2:15Speaker 5: It will.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Take you twelve seconds to get it done.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:19Speaker 2: There is no scenario where I would think like, yeah,
- 2:22Speaker 2: that's fine, right, like, oh, yeah, no scenario right.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh someone else will get it.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Well, my kids did it up? Bring your kid with
- 2:29Speaker 2: you to return the car, don't. I don't care, right return?
- 2:32Speaker 4: And then and then when people say, well, that's why
- 2:37Speaker 4: they have the cart attendants, that's rude. That's rude.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Like the card attendant is there to get the already
- 2:44Speaker 2: gathered shopping carts. You're gonna make them go on a
- 2:48Speaker 2: scavenger hunt to find shopping carts in the parking lot,
- 2:51Speaker 2: especially when it's cold.
- 2:53Speaker 4: It's inconsiderate and I don't like it.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't have time to go track down your
- 2:57Speaker 1: shopping cart you left in Aisle h back in space
- 3:02Speaker 1: ninety seven in the lot there.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Just put the shopping cart back, very simple.
- 3:06Speaker 1: And we did post this on Facebook and the answers,
- 3:09Speaker 1: of course, do not disappoint here Angie Miko, she said,
- 3:14Speaker 1: never ask anyone if they're pregnant.
- 3:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah, even if they're crowning. I heard a comedian
- 3:20Speaker 4: say that once and I was like, that's true. I
- 3:22Speaker 4: could be in labor. You better don't ask me if
- 3:24Speaker 4: I'm pregnant.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I honestly, I think I'd rather get hit by a
- 3:28Speaker 1: plane than ask that question and then be wrong. Yeah,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I'd rather just take the ship down.
- 3:35Speaker 2: There's a viral video you should look it up that
- 3:37Speaker 2: one time Paris Hilton. She assumed a fan was pregnant
- 3:41Speaker 2: and like posed with the belly and rubbed the belly
- 3:44Speaker 2: and no, she just had a gut that leader.
- 3:47Speaker 1: What about Gary who says never and this is in
- 3:49Speaker 1: all caps, never use mom or grandma or dad or
- 3:53Speaker 1: Grandpa's good sewing scissors on cardboard, punishable by death.
- 3:58Speaker 3: It sounds like, yeah, sounds Gary's been down that road. Here.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Gary said, don't plug the toilet at a party. If
- 4:05Speaker 1: you do, you better unclog it without making it over.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Just go home, Yeah, go.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Home before you even have to use the restroot.
- 4:12Speaker 1: One thousand percent. I have two more for you here, Angie.
- 4:15Speaker 1: This is from Lisa. There's a lot of people who
- 4:17Speaker 1: operate like this. Don't talk to me before I've had
- 4:20Speaker 1: my morning coffee.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I mean, people can talk to me before I've had
- 4:23Speaker 2: my morning coffee.
- 4:24Speaker 4: You're just maybe not gonna like how I react.
- 4:27Speaker 1: And this is another fun one here from Brian, who said,
- 4:30Speaker 1: don't sweat the petty stuff. That's true, don't worry about it,
- 4:34Speaker 1: let it go, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.
- 4:38Speaker 3: That's great life advice right there.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude on
- 4:48Speaker 5: Big ninety eight points seven.
- 4:50Speaker 3: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 4:52Speaker 3: basket job, bust it out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 4:55Speaker 5: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 4:57Speaker 5: little victories with us at seven on.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Seven. A big shout out to Letdy today.
- 5:04Speaker 1: She said, this weekend I gave out two business cards.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I was so nervous.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I wanted to cry after but both times, or I
- 5:13Speaker 1: wanted to cry after both times.
- 5:15Speaker 3: But I'm doing it so hey, way to go, Letty.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Good job.
- 5:19Speaker 2: That is so difficult to promote yourself.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it can't, Well, it can be.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It is.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I find it pretty simple for myself.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Well, I'm with Letty. I think that can be so hard,
- 5:31Speaker 2: especially if you're doing it face to face like on here,
- 5:34Speaker 2: we can.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Be like listen to gave an Angie.
- 5:36Speaker 2: I'm big, but in person handing a business card to
- 5:40Speaker 2: someone that is terrifying.
- 5:41Speaker 4: So good for you.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Letty, Angie and I could be in here shirtless. You
- 5:45Speaker 3: wouldn't even have a.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Clue, I'm penciless.
- 5:48Speaker 1: No, I'm kidding, Angie. Do you have a little victory
- 5:51Speaker 1: on this beautiful Monday?
- 5:53Speaker 4: I do.
- 5:54Speaker 2: So I got some alone time on Saturday because my
- 5:59Speaker 2: dear sweet Nike.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Said, hey, do you want some alone time?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Then I said yes, and he said, okay, I'll take
- 6:06Speaker 2: the boys with me to Village Green to hit some balls.
- 6:09Speaker 4: So they went.
- 6:11Speaker 2: They were hitting buckets of balls, living their best life
- 6:14Speaker 2: while I was at home with a twenty tens party
- 6:17Speaker 2: rock playlist, reliving my youth from fifteen years ago and
- 6:23Speaker 2: cleaning the house.
- 6:25Speaker 4: And it was magical, Gabe, magical you you.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Hold on you use time by yourself to clean.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I know, I know it doesn't sound like it.
- 6:38Speaker 4: It's fun and magical.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Bit ran to the casino and put twenty on red
- 6:42Speaker 3: or something.
- 6:43Speaker 2: No, I just I like the way I clean better
- 6:46Speaker 2: than the way mikey, and that's the right and so.
- 6:51Speaker 2: But to be fair, also, there was a lot of
- 6:54Speaker 2: laundry that was my own that I needed.
- 6:56Speaker 4: To get done.
- 6:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and I get.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Distracted pretty easily when the whole house is full. So
- 7:02Speaker 2: it was just really nice to do that and just
- 7:04Speaker 2: listen to my music. That is not kid appropriate. I
- 7:08Speaker 2: so rarely get to jam out to what I was
- 7:11Speaker 2: clubbing to back in twenty eleven.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Sure, and so it was.
- 7:16Speaker 4: It was nice.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Well, good for you. I'm happy for you.
- 7:19Speaker 1: What about my little victory obviously would probably I'll just
- 7:22Speaker 1: be wrapped up in baby shower weekend.
- 7:25Speaker 3: My wife and her.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Family and all the awesome ladies in her life and
- 7:29Speaker 1: all their kids, you know, showed up to this baby
- 7:30Speaker 1: shower for Corey. I had a good handful of my
- 7:33Speaker 1: buddies and my dad and brothers stop over for like
- 7:37Speaker 1: kind of the dude's version of that. And I'll tell
- 7:39Speaker 1: you what. We are sitting on diaper gold right now.
- 7:43Speaker 1: We have got so many diapers, which is awesome, and
- 7:48Speaker 1: it was great. It was awesome that everyone could show
- 7:50Speaker 1: up and all the people who were able to stop by,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and the guys followed the rules. They didn't get to
- 7:54Speaker 1: have one of those beers I bought them unless they
- 7:57Speaker 1: brought diapers, Yes, some thing, you know, Yeah, but I
- 8:01Speaker 1: love that they all brought diapers and it was very
- 8:04Speaker 1: very nice. So we we are stocked up. I'd probably
- 8:06Speaker 1: a good couple of months actually, yeah, which is really
- 8:09Speaker 1: really nice.
- 8:10Speaker 2: That's what's wild is you think you have a lot
- 8:13Speaker 2: of diapers and yet they're never enough.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:16Speaker 1: When I was packing up, you know, the week because
- 8:18Speaker 1: we took the truck. When I was packing everything in
- 8:20Speaker 1: the back, there was we I had to like open
- 8:24Speaker 1: some of the boxes of diapers because I didn't know this.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I didn't know if they were just like loose diapers
- 8:28Speaker 1: in these boxes, but no, they come in like little
- 8:30Speaker 1: sections in bags or whatever. To be able to get
- 8:33Speaker 1: everything in, I had to take apart some of the
- 8:36Speaker 1: boxes and just kind of toss these diapers in because
- 8:39Speaker 1: you know, you can kind of smush them a little bit,
- 8:41Speaker 1: or have you? And so, uh, yeah, we basically filled
- 8:43Speaker 1: the back of my truck with stuff, which was really cool.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And I have to go back in two weeks to
- 8:48Speaker 1: get more of it. I couldn't even fit it all.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Oh I love this, Okay, I like that you guys
- 8:52Speaker 2: got stocked up.
- 8:53Speaker 4: That's the purpose of a baby shower.
- 8:55Speaker 2: And might I add I saw pictures and your wife
- 9:00Speaker 2: was absolutely glowing gorgeous saw her baby.
- 9:04Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't even know if I've seen pictures. Oh well,
- 9:07Speaker 6: she was tagged in folks, Oh I'll have. She looked
- 9:10Speaker 6: absolutely stunning. And I just would like to say I
- 9:12Speaker 6: was with her when she bought the dress that she wore,
- 9:15Speaker 6: and she looked so good.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah she did. She looked incredible.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So glad to be back in in the FM area here,
- 9:20Speaker 1: Glad to be back on Big ninety eight point seven
- 9:23Speaker 1: with you after a pretty fun weekend.
- 9:27Speaker 3: This is am I the problem. It's me hill On
- 9:33Speaker 3: the problem.
- 9:33Speaker 2: It's me.
- 9:34Speaker 5: We'll hear one side of the story, and with your help,
- 9:37Speaker 5: am I the problem with you? Decide if it's right
- 9:39Speaker 5: or if maybe you're the problem.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I'm hardly the problem on.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 9:46Speaker 2: We're gonna call him James for anonymity purposes. He doesn't
- 9:52Speaker 2: want to share his name, and James is the name
- 9:55Speaker 2: of our afternoon guys, So that's amusing to me.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, fair enough, all right.
- 9:59Speaker 4: So this that will be James.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I don't want to share my name, but I need
- 10:03Speaker 2: some help from you guys and anyone listening. I've been
- 10:06Speaker 2: with my girl for two years and I just think
- 10:09Speaker 2: our relationship has reached its end.
- 10:12Speaker 4: We just don't get along anymore at this point.
- 10:14Speaker 2: I don't even think she likes me, but I think
- 10:17Speaker 2: she's hanging on because her sister's wedding is at the
- 10:19Speaker 2: end of this summer, and she doesn't want to go alone.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But I don't know if I can hang on until then.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It's brutal. Honestly, I don't even want to go to
- 10:27Speaker 2: the wedding to have a miserable time pretending the way
- 10:31Speaker 2: she treats me is not torturous.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Oh torturous.
- 10:34Speaker 2: My sister says that if I ever cared about her
- 10:37Speaker 2: at all, just stick it out through the wedding, because
- 10:40Speaker 2: the way my girl's family is, she knows it's important
- 10:43Speaker 2: for my girlfriend to not show up single. Is there
- 10:46Speaker 2: any way that I can break it off with her
- 10:48Speaker 2: and explain why it's worse to be together, pretending We're
- 10:53Speaker 2: going to.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Have two very different answers. I think, here, Angie, why
- 10:56Speaker 1: what do you think? I'm probably gonna be against the
- 11:00Speaker 1: on this one. I'll let you go first. What do
- 11:01Speaker 1: you think we'll see? If I'm right?
- 11:03Speaker 2: I think, absolutely break up with her. I know that
- 11:07Speaker 2: that's gonna be annoying for her. It sounds like she
- 11:09Speaker 2: has one of those families that's like, why are you
- 11:11Speaker 2: sayingle why? Right? But you know what, in the grand
- 11:15Speaker 2: scheme of things, you break up with her. She goes
- 11:17Speaker 2: to this wedding single, and then the options are open.
- 11:21Speaker 2: She could hook up with groomsman number three and that
- 11:24Speaker 2: wouldn't happen if you were there. This is an opportunity
- 11:27Speaker 2: for her, and yes, maybe her family will be disappointed
- 11:31Speaker 2: that yet again she hasn't kept a man.
- 11:33Speaker 4: But when it comes to.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Hooking up with somebody hot, that always outweighs placating your family.
- 11:41Speaker 2: If you ask me so, I think, break up with
- 11:44Speaker 2: her and just explain the possibilities. Explain the possibilities of
- 11:49Speaker 2: hooking up with every hot guy at the wedding if
- 11:51Speaker 2: she feels like it, and not having to pretend like
- 11:54Speaker 2: everything is great.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Between you two. Yeah, I think your sister.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I think is to be considerate of your girl's feelings
- 12:02Speaker 2: and whatever. But in the grand scheme of things, also,
- 12:05Speaker 2: after you break up with her, you don't have to.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Care about her anymore. So break up with her.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Anonymous James, don't stop your girlfriend from finding
- 12:15Speaker 1: her one night stand. I actually am on the other
- 12:20Speaker 1: side of this here, James. What you do is you
- 12:23Speaker 1: stick this thing.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Out, bro. You hang on for dear life.
- 12:28Speaker 1: You try to avoid as much conflict as possible, and
- 12:31Speaker 1: you just stick this thing out for multiple reasons. Number One,
- 12:34Speaker 1: you might not know this about me, Angie, but I'm
- 12:36Speaker 1: a real romantic kind of guy.
- 12:38Speaker 3: I do know that I'm a bit of a romantic
- 12:40Speaker 3: kind of guy.
- 12:40Speaker 1: You never know, things might take a turn for the better,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and you might go to this wedding and find out,
- 12:45Speaker 1: you know what, once we had all this pressure off,
- 12:48Speaker 1: because in my head I'm mentally checked out, this was actually.
- 12:52Speaker 3: A ton of fun.
- 12:53Speaker 1: We took all the pressure off this entire situation, and
- 12:56Speaker 1: you know what, we do like each other. We know
- 12:58Speaker 1: this is over all that pressure is gone. And then
- 13:01Speaker 1: you go to this wedding and you got the music playing,
- 13:04Speaker 1: all the love speech is going on. You might find
- 13:07Speaker 1: a new love for each other and you can just
- 13:09Speaker 1: hang on for a little bit longer.
- 13:11Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying.
- 13:11Speaker 4: You might watch a rum come this.
- 13:14Speaker 1: You might you might spark a new romance because of
- 13:18Speaker 1: this wedding with your already girlfriend. Maybe you do one
- 13:21Speaker 1: of those things where you like take a break, but
- 13:24Speaker 1: you still go to this wedding together, and then you know,
- 13:27Speaker 1: the fireworks will go off, sparks will fly, and you'll
- 13:30Speaker 1: rekindle that love for each other.
- 13:32Speaker 4: What do you think.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Seven on one two, eight on one nine eight seven
- 13:36Speaker 2: Should he break it off before or after the wedding?
- 13:39Speaker 1: I do kind of like that Angie, she's Angie's advice
- 13:43Speaker 1: would be, don't stop your girlfriend from finding her hand
- 13:46Speaker 1: hook up. There's nothing like groomsman number three, you know
- 13:48Speaker 1: what I mean.
- 13:55Speaker 2: So James whose name has been changed for anonymity, wants
- 13:59Speaker 2: to break up with his girlfriend before they go together
- 14:04Speaker 2: to her sister's wedding at the end of the summer.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Now for some context, the context that he gave us,
- 14:10Speaker 2: because that's how my the problem works. They don't like
- 14:14Speaker 2: each other. It seems like she does not seem into him.
- 14:17Speaker 2: He thinks she's only hanging on to get to the
- 14:20Speaker 2: wedding so that she doesn't go alone. And he wants
- 14:24Speaker 2: to break up before then because that sounds awful to him,
- 14:26Speaker 2: being at a wedding where they don't even like each other,
- 14:29Speaker 2: they don't get along. He asked his sister for advice,
- 14:32Speaker 2: and she said, just stick it out through the wedding,
- 14:36Speaker 2: because it seems like his girlfriend is the one that
- 14:38Speaker 2: has that kind of overbearing family and that's like.
- 14:40Speaker 4: How to do me? Sangle again type deal.
- 14:43Speaker 2: So she's like, if you ever cared about her, you
- 14:44Speaker 2: should stick it out. So he wants to know, should
- 14:47Speaker 2: I do that or should I just break up with.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Her earlier than that? Because why not?
- 14:52Speaker 2: And I said, yeah, break up with her, free her
- 14:56Speaker 2: so that at the wedding she can hook up with
- 14:58Speaker 2: whatever Groom's mean she wants without being tied to you.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Gabe, don't stop your girlfriend from finding her one night
- 15:06Speaker 1: stand exactly.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Gabe is in disagreement. Correct.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm a romantic kind of guy. If you didn't
- 15:13Speaker 1: know this about me, about.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Me any you're giggling, but you are. I'm a romance
- 15:18Speaker 3: kind of guy, all right.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Now that you both kind of know it's over, right,
- 15:21Speaker 1: the pressure's off, you just hang on for dear life.
- 15:25Speaker 1: There's no pressure anymore, and you just go to this wedding.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Who knows you might find that you know.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Rek, what's the word we rekindle?
- 15:32Speaker 3: Oh, Pe'll thank you.
- 15:33Speaker 1: You might rekindle that flame in this month where you
- 15:36Speaker 1: both know it's kind of over.
- 15:38Speaker 4: So we've asked you, and then.
- 15:39Speaker 1: The fireworks are gonna go off at the wedding. You'll
- 15:42Speaker 1: have that like slow deep kiss like they do in.
- 15:45Speaker 2: The movies, Gabe, I think you are writing a rom com.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I think you want to go to the wedding and
- 15:51Speaker 2: have your popcorn with you to see what happens. So
- 15:54Speaker 2: we did also ask you for your thoughts on the situation,
- 15:57Speaker 2: and we also posted it on the Big ninety eight
- 15:59Speaker 2: point seven Facebook page. Stephanie texted in and said, no,
- 16:05Speaker 2: the sister is wrong if he ever cared about her
- 16:08Speaker 2: at all. Plus a wedding, alcohol and animosity doesn't mix.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Oh and I agree with Angie.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Yeah, we are always battling for the I agree with Yes.
- 16:19Speaker 3: You know what those things do, Stephanie.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Those things make for a great uh one more time
- 16:25Speaker 1: doing the horizontal dance, you know what I mean, that's
- 16:29Speaker 1: what that makes for. We got Yolando who said, just
- 16:33Speaker 1: end it. You know, her family is gonna put your
- 16:34Speaker 1: relationship in the spotlight. You will get the when are
- 16:37Speaker 1: you getting to getting married? From her family? Then you
- 16:40Speaker 1: were in a whole new bag of chips.
- 16:42Speaker 2: First of all, I've never heard the phrase in a
- 16:44Speaker 2: whole new bag of chips, And I love that better
- 16:46Speaker 2: than opening a can of worms. Like they're in the
- 16:49Speaker 2: same family, right, I really like that, And true they
- 16:53Speaker 2: are gonna get the winner, you getting married, and that
- 16:56Speaker 2: will probably make the girlfriend feel even worse about the
- 17:01Speaker 2: situation because she doesn't even like him anymore, and that
- 17:04Speaker 2: will cause a whole other thing, a whole other bag
- 17:07Speaker 2: of chip.
- 17:07Speaker 4: That's true, Jolanda is right, so break up with her.
- 17:11Speaker 1: That's what pretty much everyone is saying. Brittany said, it
- 17:14Speaker 1: sounds like there isn't much communication happening. If he is
- 17:17Speaker 1: dead set on breaking things off, then he doesn't need
- 17:20Speaker 1: advice to do it. When you feel you need to,
- 17:22Speaker 1: justin said end it. And Steph has quite a paragraph here,
- 17:25Speaker 1: so I'm just gonna give the first sentence because it
- 17:28Speaker 1: really lays it all out on the table. Okay, your
- 17:31Speaker 1: sister is one hundred percent incorrect, what a way to
- 17:35Speaker 1: put it? Have you ever accidentally liked something on social
- 17:41Speaker 1: media that you were stuck in the wormhole of Wow?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Do I unlike this or do I just leave this here?
- 17:47Speaker 1: I didn't mean to double tap that photo on Instagram.
- 17:50Speaker 2: This is my worst nightmarn. Thankfully it didn't happen to me.
- 17:53Speaker 2: But I jumped on the phone with my sister over
- 17:55Speaker 2: the weekend. She said, I have to tell you something,
- 17:56Speaker 2: so embarrassing, which living for that.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I love when my sister's the embarrassed one and not me.
- 18:02Speaker 2: So she has an ex boyfriend that she's friendly with,
- 18:05Speaker 2: so they are still friends on social media.
- 18:08Speaker 4: And I'm just gonna long story short.
- 18:11Speaker 2: It she ended up on her ex boyfriend's new girlfriend's
- 18:18Speaker 2: sister's Instagram page.
- 18:21Speaker 3: And ax and that one down for me.
- 18:23Speaker 4: It's her ex my friend has a new girlfriend.
- 18:26Speaker 3: New girlfriend's sister. Yes, perfect.
- 18:30Speaker 2: She is going down all of the pictures on this.
- 18:34Speaker 3: We've all been there, We've all done the rabbit hole scrolling.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Of course, except for she double tapped the very first
- 18:43Speaker 2: photo this woman had ever posted or fourteen whiche it's
- 18:49Speaker 2: like four hundred and sixty eight weeks ago or whatever.
- 18:52Speaker 2: So my sister very clearly was scrolling to get to
- 18:56Speaker 2: the very first photo on someone's Instagram. You really got
- 19:00Speaker 2: to put in work, and she hit the double tap,
- 19:04Speaker 2: and she freaked out, but she didn't. This is where
- 19:06Speaker 2: her dilemma was. She's like, if I unlike it, but
- 19:10Speaker 2: she has notifications, you see the notification, and then if
- 19:14Speaker 2: you go to check it and it's not there, then
- 19:16Speaker 2: it's really like, oh, someone was looking at my stuff
- 19:20Speaker 2: and accidentally liked and then unliked.
- 19:23Speaker 4: That's embarrassing.
- 19:24Speaker 2: And so then she left it. But then she thought,
- 19:27Speaker 2: do I just hope that she doesn't like care? I
- 19:32Speaker 2: told her she should have doubled down, she should have
- 19:34Speaker 2: started liking every post. Yeah, just like all the posts
- 19:36Speaker 2: and then even comment and say, oh I ended up
- 19:39Speaker 2: on your page.
- 19:40Speaker 4: You're so pretty, blah blah blah, because if all else fails,
- 19:43Speaker 4: be a hype queen.
- 19:44Speaker 2: So the girl that you know, because it wasn't the
- 19:47Speaker 2: ex boyfriend's new girlfriend, it was the ex boyfriend's new
- 19:50Speaker 2: girlfriend's sister.
- 19:51Speaker 4: So I feel like it's okay, but that's worse. I
- 19:54Speaker 4: don't know.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I think it's a power move.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Just leave it.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Just leave that like right there. Oh yeah, I was
- 20:00Speaker 1: checking you out. I want you to know I'm on it.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Well, she did just leave it, but she's definitely she
- 20:07Speaker 2: was like the next time she works with her ex,
- 20:09Speaker 2: she's like, the next time I see him, do I
- 20:11Speaker 2: tell him this entire story? And I was like, no,
- 20:13Speaker 2: oh no, you take that to don't talk about it.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I mean, I'm talking about it here right now on
- 20:19Speaker 2: Big ninety eight point seven.
- 20:20Speaker 4: But lying maybe they're not listening. Live on the app.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true. Have you ever have you ever been
- 20:26Speaker 1: in this scenario? You ever liked something you didn't mean
- 20:28Speaker 1: too on social media?
- 20:30Speaker 4: Yes, but I don't be embarrassing. I doubled down.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I liked something and then I was like, well I'm
- 20:36Speaker 2: here now, so I just had to comment, like a
- 20:39Speaker 2: nice thing. Yeah, and then nothing ever happened. They liked
- 20:42Speaker 2: the comment and that was it.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Have you ever accidentally liked something on social media that
- 20:51Speaker 1: you know what? You were just being a little snoopy.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You were scrolling and looking and you just wanted to
- 20:56Speaker 1: You just wanted to check out the scene. Okay, we've
- 20:58Speaker 1: all done it. We've all done it.
- 20:59Speaker 3: There's no nothing wrong with that.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And I know that Angie and Angie's sister are not
- 21:03Speaker 1: the only ones who have ever done this.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Or did you ever go to like something and then
- 21:10Speaker 1: you accidentally put the sad emoji or you meant to
- 21:13Speaker 1: like something and you put the angry emotion?
- 21:15Speaker 4: I've laugh reacted to death.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Yeah, on Facebook?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Because Facebook, that's a Facebook problem. Why is the care
- 21:21Speaker 2: emoji and the crying laughing emoji right next to each other,
- 21:24Speaker 2: iving meta did that on purpose.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I starting off the day with something good.
- 21:33Speaker 5: This is Gabe's good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Even if spring is taking its sweet time outside, it's
- 21:42Speaker 1: already in full bloom at NDSU. Students there, they just
- 21:46Speaker 1: wrapped up their annual fashion show, Community Garden. A fashion
- 21:50Speaker 1: show in bloom is what it's called, and it was
- 21:53Speaker 1: just packed with creativity, color collaboration from freshmen to seniors.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Designers brought their ideas to life on the runway, and
- 22:01Speaker 1: many seniors even showcase their final collections before heading into
- 22:06Speaker 1: the fashion world. And what makes this even cooler is
- 22:08Speaker 1: the students teamed up with local programs like Joy Studio
- 22:11Speaker 1: to create low waste designs using vintage and hand woven fabrics,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and they partnered across campus to design custom aprons for
- 22:20Speaker 1: makers and artists. And the result was a high energy
- 22:22Speaker 1: show filled with bold looks, giant, full floral displays, and
- 22:27Speaker 1: a whole lot of talent right here in our community.
- 22:30Speaker 1: It's just a great reminder that even when the weather's
- 22:33Speaker 1: a little slow to change here, creativity is always in season.
- 22:36Speaker 1: The future looks pretty bright for these NDSU fashion students.
- 22:39Speaker 4: I love this. I was actually on campus that.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Day and it was cool to see all of the students.
- 22:46Speaker 2: You could tell who was in the fashion program all show,
- 22:48Speaker 2: which was pretty cool, and I.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Was actually there.
- 22:50Speaker 2: There was a pop up for Red Brick Boutique and Miranda,
- 22:54Speaker 2: the owner, she actually went to NDSU four Fashion School,
- 22:58Speaker 2: so it was very full circle moment and it was
- 23:01Speaker 2: very awesome to see just right young creative minds at work.
- 23:05Speaker 4: I loved it.
- 23:06Speaker 1: Don't forget my favorite quote, broken crayons, they still color,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and the world is full of nice people. If you
- 23:11Speaker 1: can't find one, you gotta be one.
