This track began as a work-in-progress session: an improvised bass line built from simple, repetitive figures evolving through a tempo-synced delay, locked to a steady Motorik drum beat. An electric guitar part followed. Then came this week's Junto challenge prompt: "Create a piece of music by regularly or irregularly interrupting an ongoing process." So I decided to interrupt the process itself. Throughout the piece, I randomly mute the bass and filter the drums in real time, leaving the guitar chords untouched to fill the resulting gaps.
