- 0:33Speaker 3: But we also kind of get here like Tuesday, you know,
- 0:36Speaker 3: a little earlier than now. Now, we just got here
- 0:39Speaker 3: and putting our headphones in our ears are over our ears, Like.
- 0:43Speaker 1: How have you been enjoying your new headphones?
- 0:45Speaker 3: Pancake headphones now? And frankly, these are what people wear
- 0:50Speaker 3: these days. So to all the indie podcasters you see these.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I do miss the sound quality of wearing.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Why did you get some of these days? I know, pancakes.
- 1:02Speaker 4: I haven't waring cans in like a decade at this point.
- 1:05Speaker 4: I mean, you know, I'm not loving like sticking these
- 1:07Speaker 4: in my ears every day.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I think to got at some point do something bad?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Cast some gunk, right, They gotta cost some gunk in
- 1:14Speaker 3: that canal. Yeah, and who knows what those wireless things
- 1:16Speaker 3: are doing to your brain.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Oh, that's a whole other topic. I have wireless ones.
- 1:20Speaker 3: No, you can't mouth something. I've headphones on the other
- 1:24Speaker 3: side of pancakes. I can't hear you. All right, what
- 1:28Speaker 3: are we doing? Well, Friday, we're gonna start paying bills.
- 1:31Speaker 3: That's gonna happen here in just a few minutes. Today's
- 1:34Speaker 3: National Pickle Day.
- 1:35Speaker 1: You guys like pickles, Yes, eat them every day. No,
- 1:38Speaker 1: it's a no for me.
- 1:41Speaker 3: If I'm gonna be salty, I can take a bite
- 1:44Speaker 3: of a sliced one. I like a slice one on
- 1:45Speaker 3: a Chick fil A obviously.
- 1:46Speaker 1: No, that would ruin the Chick fil A.
- 1:48Speaker 2: No, they put them on there. That's their whole thing.
- 1:50Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:51Speaker 1: And when I forget to ask for about it, I
- 1:52Speaker 1: can still taste.
- 1:53Speaker 2: The gig is the signature pickles.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Their whole gig like pepper, the black pepper in the
- 1:59Speaker 3: fry there.
- 2:00Speaker 1: The whole gig is the chicken. Yes, the chicken.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Uh, you like sweeter Dill Dania. This is all you.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Because I don't eat pickles. I don't know.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I don't know I actually the pickle buying is Robbie's department.
- 2:15Speaker 2: And is it sweet or dilly?
- 2:17Speaker 5: Not dilly, I would say on the sweeter side. The
- 2:20Speaker 5: Israeli pickles.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Oh those sound great. Yeah, I'm over red over those.
- 2:24Speaker 5: A little bite of a pickle with like a little
- 2:27Speaker 5: chicken or just like a little piece of protein that
- 2:29Speaker 5: you have and like little.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You like Chick fil a.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, just describe scattered showers today. Probably know that,
- 2:37Speaker 3: So just think about that. We're gonna have rain. I
- 2:39Speaker 3: don't know where you're going, where you got to be,
- 2:40Speaker 3: which free weare? You're rolling on the two ten, the
- 2:42Speaker 3: four oh five to five. Look for those scattered showers.
- 2:45Speaker 3: They're gonna happen throughout the weekend. Actually it's gonna be
- 2:48Speaker 3: in the mid sixties, so wet and a little cooler.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Be prepared. It's one of two points hundreds and golden.
- 2:54Speaker 3: That's gonna be done live at our jingle ball and
- 2:57Speaker 3: tickets are coming up here. In a second, Leon Thomas
- 2:59Speaker 3: and Kid del Roy December fifth into its dim whych
- 3:03Speaker 3: you buy Capitol one? So Ruby, I just want to
- 3:06Speaker 3: highlight this for a second. Where how do you come
- 3:08Speaker 3: to work every day? Because I've done this too. You're
- 3:10Speaker 3: so like in autopilot, you miss your exit and then
- 3:14Speaker 3: you end up in a situation where there's not an
- 3:16Speaker 3: exit for a minute. Yes, and now you got to
- 3:18Speaker 3: get into an interchange to get into it, like another freeway.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Sometimes you get back onto the free where you were on,
- 3:22Speaker 3: or when you get off you realize there's not another
- 3:23Speaker 3: on ramp on the other side over there.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Yeah, so what route did you take?
- 3:27Speaker 6: So I normally I live in Highland Park, So I
- 3:29Speaker 6: take the two north, hop on the one thirty four West,
- 3:34Speaker 6: and I don't know what happened. I guess I was
- 3:37Speaker 6: in autopilot mode. But then also is like the weather's
- 3:40Speaker 6: just been like, you know, very overcasty.
- 3:43Speaker 1: So I am just driving.
- 3:45Speaker 6: I'm on the one thirty four, and I'm like, wait
- 3:48Speaker 6: a minute, this does not look familiar. And I'm literally
- 3:52Speaker 6: almost to Pasadena when I should be passing Glendale East.
- 3:57Speaker 3: It pushes your right on right on east through the valley.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I this happens to me every now and then, And
- 4:03Speaker 3: sometimes I was when I go somewhere to visit a
- 4:06Speaker 3: friend and I rent a car to go to their
- 4:07Speaker 3: home and I don't know the city. Actually it happened
- 4:10Speaker 3: to me when I went back to Atlanta, my home.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I grew up in the city Atlanta. Yeah, I rented
- 4:14Speaker 3: a car on my way from the airport and I
- 4:18Speaker 3: the music turned on, but it wasn't familiar with the
- 4:20Speaker 3: rental car. And they have changed things since I was back,
- 4:24Speaker 3: Like they built different things since there. Yeah, so I
- 4:27Speaker 3: was and I'm finding the map, but I can't really
- 4:30Speaker 3: tell when. Sometimes it's saying to veer off to the
- 4:32Speaker 3: left or right, like I feel like it tells me
- 4:34Speaker 3: last minute, and I ended up missing something. There was
- 4:37Speaker 3: no exit for a minute. And what is the worst
- 4:40Speaker 3: feeling ever, ruby is when that time recalculates what it was.
- 4:45Speaker 3: It was four minutes, twenty two minutes from four to
- 4:51Speaker 3: twenty two in one second.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Yes, wow, it's really defeating the panic. You just get
- 4:57Speaker 1: sucked in your head.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Like this happened to me when I was listening to
- 5:00Speaker 4: the Idea of You on tape.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And you know how raunchy that book is.
- 5:04Speaker 2: I don't.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I was driving to San Diego and I look up
- 5:06Speaker 4: and I'm in riverside, Like I was like, what to
- 5:10Speaker 4: like And it's because it was like just so juicy.
- 5:15Speaker 3: It's it's kind of like it's not vibe, but it's
- 5:19Speaker 3: the one where the mom falls in love with like
- 5:21Speaker 3: the singer who's kind of like the Harry.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Styles of this Anne Hathaway movie. Yes, it was Anethey movie.
- 5:25Speaker 1: They made a movie out of it.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Did I see it?
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yes, it was Anne Hathaway. I didn't know that you
- 5:29Speaker 1: saw it. I don't think you saw it. You will
- 5:32Speaker 1: remember this. You should definitely go see the movie. It's
- 5:34Speaker 1: on Amazon.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I might listen to the book and drive Vegas or something.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you could listen to the book. I think the
- 5:39Speaker 1: book was better than the movie.
- 5:40Speaker 3: But you know, tweet the audiobook audiobook, Yes, because I
- 5:44Speaker 3: read the book, meaning.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I listened to it.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I read listen to it.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I tell you what, mo, where can I can? I
- 5:48Speaker 2: want to watch it? Where I watch?
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yeah, you're here. You were happy. You made it me too.
- 5:56Speaker 3: You should have started at Millie's for a Nantella waffle.
- 5:58Speaker 2: That's right there. They got this.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Anybody five in the morning, that's when they're hot off
- 6:04Speaker 3: the iron lash. You guys, Tom Brown, this is Kids FM, now, cisiny?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Should we just do this here? Because lots gotta happen.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I don't know what to do at this point.
- 6:16Speaker 3: So there's a spider in your kids room. I saw
- 6:20Speaker 3: I saw a I don't know what it was a
- 6:22Speaker 3: snail or something. I thought it was a camera. What
- 6:28Speaker 3: I thought it was a camera in the ceiling.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Oh, a camera, But it was like a snail or
- 6:32Speaker 1: a b or something.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Camera selling right right right?
- 6:35Speaker 3: Put a camera on my ceiling. As it turns out,
- 6:37Speaker 3: it was like a lady bug, bring good luck, check
- 6:42Speaker 3: my vision? All right?
- 6:43Speaker 2: What happened with the spie?
- 6:44Speaker 4: So yesterday we hear a big scream and Asa and
- 6:48Speaker 4: Savellah my seven and four year old. They share a
- 6:50Speaker 4: room together, and and so as a screams and goes dad, spider,
- 6:55Speaker 4: it's a black widow and like full freak out mode.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Is it a black widow?
- 6:59Speaker 4: That's just what they say. They see a spider and
- 7:00Speaker 4: everything's a black widow. So I was honestly, I was
- 7:02Speaker 4: like in the bathroom and I was like not even concerned.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I was like, oh, Michael, deal with it. And he did.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So he goes in there to try to.
- 7:08Speaker 4: He's like, it's behind the dollhouse, and so they're like
- 7:10Speaker 4: moving the dollhouse and then there's no spider and he's like,
- 7:13Speaker 4: I don't see it, and then whatever moved on.
- 7:16Speaker 1: He's like, I.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Didn't get it, and they were like kind of freaking out.
- 7:18Speaker 4: So then an hour later, the same thing again. So
- 7:21Speaker 4: he goes he sees the spider this time and it
- 7:24Speaker 4: zooms into the closet. So now it's like lost in
- 7:27Speaker 4: the closet and it's He's like, I don't know, man,
- 7:31Speaker 4: there's too much stuff in there, eggs. So he just
- 7:36Speaker 4: left it and the girls are like, like so terrified.
- 7:38Speaker 4: They didn't sleep in their room last night. They refuse
- 7:41Speaker 4: to go in there and get any of their pajamas
- 7:43Speaker 4: and stuff. I had to go get their pajamas out
- 7:44Speaker 4: for them because they won't go in the closet.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Now would do the spiders? I mean, the spidery is
- 7:48Speaker 2: big to them.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I'm sure it is, but I almost like, how are
- 7:51Speaker 1: we going to deal with this? Do we just lie
- 7:53Speaker 1: to them and say like we got the.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Spider goes it off, tape down the thresh of the
- 7:56Speaker 3: door where the space is, and say it's all concealed
- 7:59Speaker 3: in the chamber.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Yeah, But I mean I don't think that's we need
- 8:03Speaker 4: to get this spider. Here's my takeover, or I just
- 8:06Speaker 4: say we got it and we just move on.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You can't do that.
- 8:10Speaker 2: They're both about lying to your kids.
- 8:12Speaker 1: No, all cards do is lie to their kids. I'm
- 8:14Speaker 1: gonna ask, how do you are a spider?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Just lie to your kid?
- 8:20Speaker 7: Uh?
- 8:20Speaker 2: And the other thing, I just realized, I'm gonna need
- 8:22Speaker 2: a husband.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Oh yeah, what am I do with a squirrels in
- 8:27Speaker 3: the wall?
- 8:28Speaker 2: What am I gonna do?
- 8:29Speaker 3: I can't get the squirrel out. I'm afraid of the squirrel.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I need a husband.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, or just a wife that's willing to do
- 8:37Speaker 1: that as well.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Could go both ways, but it could be. Yeah.
- 8:42Speaker 4: So you're not the guy like you're like if I
- 8:44Speaker 4: married you, like you the guy?
- 8:45Speaker 3: I mean, look, spiders don't freaked me out these days.
- 8:47Speaker 3: A snake I am not your guy. Oh no, a snake,
- 8:50Speaker 3: I don't think as anybody.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I don't you that rats or a mouse. I am
- 8:53Speaker 2: not your guy to deal with that stuff.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I mean accepting applications now exactly, Tubs, you want to
- 9:05Speaker 3: be my husband, I'm taking get the squirrel.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Tubs is your husband, But.
- 9:13Speaker 3: I don't want the things that she wants from you.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Protect me, he brings it, your tea, Protect me from
- 9:20Speaker 3: the banshee.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Buy your headphone IRDs. I know what you can do, Sysney.
- 9:26Speaker 5: Yes, you can encourage it out with airflows. So maybe
- 9:28Speaker 5: take your blow dryer into the thing to ensure.
- 9:30Speaker 2: You don't know that you google chat. Shepete it, so
- 9:33Speaker 2: get over it.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I know. Or you can bait it with prey.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Let's cover that in the break. Bait it with pray.
- 9:40Speaker 3: She's going to bring in other spide Eye to get
- 9:43Speaker 3: the spy dirt you're on.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Kiss? All right?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Three words right now, Kiss, I'm got a quote of
- 9:47Speaker 3: the day. Three words you've gotta use to describe yourself,
- 9:50Speaker 3: they say, if you want to get more matches on
- 9:52Speaker 3: a dating app. For women, you say you're sweet, ambitious,
- 9:58Speaker 3: and thoughtful.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Do you like it?
- 10:00Speaker 3: There?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Strong?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Great words.
- 10:03Speaker 3: For men, they say, you're physically fit, spontaneous, and perceptive.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I think physically fits sounds bragger.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be so turned off.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I would be too.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I would not even I could I cringe it if
- 10:14Speaker 3: I were to say it. Yeah, I like to work out,
- 10:17Speaker 3: but I don't want to say it.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Imagine you had that in your dating profile.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Spontaneous. I like it, but that'd be a lie if
- 10:27Speaker 3: I said that. I don't like perceptive either what do
- 10:30Speaker 3: we think about overplanner perceptive?
- 10:33Speaker 2: I mean perceptive sounds business y?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Or it sounds judgy.
- 10:39Speaker 4: It does, that's what it is. It sounds like cocky
- 10:41Speaker 4: and judge a bs.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Then yeah, I think.
- 10:45Speaker 1: You crush it on a dating app?
- 10:47Speaker 2: Please?
- 10:48Speaker 1: Which one your lips? To God's ears?
- 10:50Speaker 2: What was you also impatient about me?
- 10:53Speaker 1: I would love to have you on a dating app.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I create your profile, pick your pictures.
- 10:57Speaker 2: What dating app am I going to go on? I'm
- 10:58Speaker 2: not going to be comfortable with that?
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:01Speaker 1: Right, then then we can screenshot. You're protected.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Why don't want you? And this is the whole point.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I don't want you engaged in my dating. Maybe it's
- 11:09Speaker 2: about time.
- 11:10Speaker 4: We are engaged, because you know what, that hasn't been
- 11:12Speaker 4: gone so well lately?
- 11:14Speaker 2: What do you know?
- 11:15Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 11:16Speaker 2: Do you know?
- 11:17Speaker 1: I think it's about time we get involved. Yeah, this
- 11:21Speaker 1: is our intervention. Like coaches, we all just signed four
- 11:29Speaker 1: more years.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Right we did? Then somehow they're going to work their
- 11:33Speaker 2: way into this. I have a feeling all right.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Today's quote the life you want begins the moment you
- 11:39Speaker 3: stop apologizing for wanting it. Take that to heart, Ryan, Tanya. Yes, Yes,

- 13:18Speaker 1: Maybe you're in one too, but you're just not sharing.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Maybe it wouldn't that be nice if I don't make

- 13:50Speaker 1: Y I did see that.
- 13:52Speaker 3: All right, Well, listen any relationship, listen to these things.
- 13:55Speaker 3: That's kind of interesting. Rules and are these things toxic?
- 13:59Speaker 2: Are they healthy?
- 14:00Speaker 7: So?
- 14:01Speaker 3: What about having a new female friend. You're in a relationship, systiny,
- 14:05Speaker 3: if he has a new female friend. Is that a
- 14:08Speaker 3: healthy thing?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Oh?
- 14:08Speaker 1: I hate it?
- 14:09Speaker 2: Okay, I understand I would.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Fake it though, I'd be like, all right, cools, so nice.
- 14:14Speaker 5: Then.
- 14:15Speaker 3: You know, anytime a wife or a husband or anybody fakes,
- 14:18Speaker 3: you know when you're faking.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I don't think it would. Like last
- 14:21Speaker 1: I was going to be thrilled because.
- 14:22Speaker 3: In the transcript you were cool with it, but in
- 14:24Speaker 3: real life you were saying no, no, uh, okay, checking
- 14:30Speaker 3: in if you go out solo. Now, Tony, let me
- 14:34Speaker 3: take this to you. Okay, Robbie goes out solo, you
- 14:36Speaker 3: check in? Does he have to check in? Is he
- 14:38Speaker 3: check in with you?
- 14:39Speaker 8: No?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Is that true?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yeah? That's true?
- 14:42Speaker 2: Or do you reach out to him to check on him?
- 14:44Speaker 5: I don't hold back, Like if if I want to
- 14:47Speaker 5: text him about something, I'm not like, oh, I'm not
- 14:48Speaker 5: gonna text him because you're out with his friends. But
- 14:50Speaker 5: I'm not like checking in on him.
- 14:52Speaker 3: But you don't hold back. Correct correct, So it's toxic
- 14:56Speaker 3: to do that. What say independence to be encouraged?
- 15:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean if we go away for the weekend
- 15:05Speaker 1: or something.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, fine, right, Well you guys, you guys are very
- 15:10Speaker 3: they're new at this.
- 15:11Speaker 2: You've been doing this for a minute.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess you're right. Like before, I like when
- 15:14Speaker 4: I would land, I would text him like I landed.
- 15:16Speaker 4: But now it's like two days go by.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Just check my location.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I've seen in the news. I check the news every night.
- 15:25Speaker 3: She's away the headlines.
- 15:30Speaker 2: All right? Sharing locations that good toxic tubs.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Let me take us to you. You share locations with
- 15:34Speaker 3: your jiu jitsu partner?
- 15:36Speaker 2: Uh No, I don't even know how to turn that on.
- 15:38Speaker 2: You do, engineer here, you want to turn that on.
- 15:42Speaker 4: He's just claiming that because he doesn't want to share
- 15:44Speaker 4: his location.
- 15:45Speaker 1: July.
- 15:46Speaker 2: You guys all share locations, right, Yes, I.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Share applications with Mark.
- 15:50Speaker 2: I don't know why, you yourself, why everybody?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I share with everybody.
- 15:55Speaker 2: All right.
- 15:56Speaker 3: I think that that's not necessary. I mean maybe a relation,
- 16:00Speaker 3: I don't care. But with you guys, for sure, it's.
- 16:01Speaker 1: A no why if anything?
- 16:03Speaker 4: For us, it would be so easy then we would know,
- 16:04Speaker 4: like if you were getting to an event with us
- 16:06Speaker 4: at the same time, or like, oh he's just on the.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Freeway, not at any event.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Well, I've just seen the concerts that we go to.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Agree about it, I'm not angry about it.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I'm just talking.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Up at arms over there.
- 16:20Speaker 3: All right, let's come back. You're on Kiss FM. You're
- 16:22Speaker 3: on Kiss FM. Trible Excel about to go. Match game?
- 16:25Speaker 3: Call me now, let's get that done. Match game. Kingle
- 16:27Speaker 3: Bowl tickets for this hour. Siciny.
- 16:29Speaker 2: There's a new exhibit coming to the Grammy Museum. What
- 16:32Speaker 2: do you got?
- 16:32Speaker 4: Yes, it is a special Selenakthania exhibit called Selena from
- 16:37Speaker 4: Texas to the World.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It makes it.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Really special because they're going to have a bunch of
- 16:52Speaker 4: items of Selena that's never been displayed outside of Texas before,
- 16:55Speaker 4: so they're bringing it here to La. Her sister Susette
- 16:59Speaker 4: helped put it all together, so you know, it's going
- 17:01Speaker 4: to be very personal, very true to who Selena was.
- 17:05Speaker 4: They're bringing out some iconic pieces like her dress that
- 17:08Speaker 4: she wore when she won her Grammy Member of the
- 17:10Speaker 4: White Dress and so that that's going to be on display,
- 17:13Speaker 4: the leather outfit from her More Brio album, and even
- 17:17Speaker 4: the microphone that she used during her final performance with
- 17:19Speaker 4: her lipsticks still on it.
- 17:22Speaker 2: It's amazing. I think this is such a great thing.
- 17:25Speaker 4: It is crazy and it's and it's crazy to think
- 17:27Speaker 4: that it's been thirty I plus years since you know,
- 17:31Speaker 4: she's left us. The exhibit's gonna run from January fifteenth
- 17:35Speaker 4: to March sixteenth, But if you cannot wait until then,
- 17:38Speaker 4: there is a Selena doc that is hitting Netflix this Monday,
- 17:43Speaker 4: and it's called Selena Elosdinos. It comes out, yeah, so
- 17:47Speaker 4: this Monday. It's never before seen footage of Selena and
- 17:51Speaker 4: her siblings growing up and the whole process.
- 17:54Speaker 1: They documented.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Everything they documented, like their whole journey of like becoming
- 18:00Speaker 4: a famous she became, and they have everybody in her
- 18:03Speaker 4: family in this doc. I actually was able to screen
- 18:05Speaker 4: it before it comes out, and I'm telling you, it is.
- 18:08Speaker 1: It chills, it chills talking about it.
- 18:11Speaker 4: It was just so beautiful, and her memory is just
- 18:14Speaker 4: still so alive within her family, and like the way
- 18:17Speaker 4: her dad and her mom, and her sister and her
- 18:19Speaker 4: brothers speak about her. It's just it's a beautiful documentary.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I don't want to stop talking about that.
- 18:24Speaker 3: It's extreme sweet, it really is. It's it's touching and
- 18:29Speaker 3: very heartfelt. Well thank you for that. Coming up next,
- 18:31Speaker 3: DJ trouble XL He's gonna roll some Friday mix and

- 22:08Speaker 2: You did very very good.

- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 22:24Speaker 4: I got to do.
- 22:25Speaker 1: So it's good speaking.
- 22:26Speaker 3: With you guys, well Jessica, because you're so humble and
- 22:29Speaker 3: grateful in this moment and it is a well end

- 22:37Speaker 3: Now these are not four seats, are said, but these
- 22:40Speaker 3: are great seats and you'll be there too.
- 22:42Speaker 7: Okay, where I really appreciate it.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Appreciate you listening. This is kiss This is what we
- 22:48Speaker 2: do on.
- 22:50Speaker 7: Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 22:56Speaker 2: All right, good morning, it is Seacrest.
- 22:58Speaker 3: With a scattered shower today throughout the weekend, highs in
- 23:01Speaker 3: the mid sixties.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It's been spitting a little water out of the clouds. Lately.
- 23:06Speaker 3: We have got your jingle Ball tickets and just a few.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I don't know if you're having issues with your phone,
- 23:12Speaker 3: but I am out if it's my phone or software.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Are you having it beyond I have to delete my
- 23:18Speaker 4: email reinstall it. Like I'm not going it work. It's
- 23:21Speaker 4: kind of working now, but it's still kind of glitching.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Okay. I have so much glitch in my life.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that I could not be in a relationship because
- 23:30Speaker 3: I'm being glitched up so much. I have no time
- 23:33Speaker 3: for anything else but resolving my glitch.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I know it's very frustrating.
- 23:37Speaker 3: We are gonna talk about the glitch in coming up,
- 23:40Speaker 3: but first let's go to the back room. Michaela's been
- 23:42Speaker 3: here producing. I just want to know, MICHAELA. Mark gives
- 23:44Speaker 3: you high marks. He gives you high reviews, good reviews
- 23:47Speaker 3: on your producing skills.
- 23:49Speaker 2: You should know as if yeah.
- 23:50Speaker 4: You crush it right, we wouldn't hold that backs us.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Mark tells me about all y'all, I'm scared because me
- 24:01Speaker 3: reports on behind the scenes all the time. Now the
- 24:05Speaker 3: question is, is Mikayla bad friend? Why are we even
- 24:07Speaker 3: addressing this?
- 24:08Speaker 8: Okay, so I have a friend's birthday dinner this weekend,
- 24:12Speaker 8: but I said I would go, but then one of
- 24:14Speaker 8: my other friends offered me a ticket to the Magic Castle,
- 24:17Speaker 8: and I feel like I couldn't say no to that.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Oh no, wait, wait wait, don't phrase it like that.
- 24:20Speaker 3: You basically won up Edith couldn't say no. There was
- 24:23Speaker 3: no guilt in it. You just got a better offer.
- 24:25Speaker 1: There is guilty, guilt, feel bad.
- 24:28Speaker 2: But what you're doing is what we do sometimes when
- 24:31Speaker 2: we date.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It is what everybody does when they date.
- 24:33Speaker 2: The Baasic deal. Is it called tree branching?
- 24:36Speaker 1: Monkey branching that thing.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Yes, this is the monkey branching of Friends BBD. Yeah,
- 24:42Speaker 3: grass is always greener, bigger, better deal. Now, this is
- 24:46Speaker 3: something that happens, for example, on the Red carpet all
- 24:49Speaker 3: the time, right on.
- 24:50Speaker 1: The red carpet interviews.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Yeah, like when you see a star at the Oscars, right,
- 24:56Speaker 3: and it's a star you know, or the Grammy just
- 24:58Speaker 3: take the Grammys, and it's star you've heard of. Then
- 25:01Speaker 3: all of a sudden, a big star walks up. That
- 25:03Speaker 3: person doing the hosting just moves the microphone right off
- 25:06Speaker 3: the lesser star into the bigger star's face and blows
- 25:08Speaker 3: them off.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Time to wrap it up.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's a bigger, better deal. That's what you're
- 25:12Speaker 2: dealing with. Now.
- 25:13Speaker 3: Why is the Magic Castle something you want to do?
- 25:15Speaker 3: You can't buy tickets, right, can't membership?
- 25:18Speaker 8: No, something has to invite you or you have to
- 25:20Speaker 8: know somebody.
- 25:21Speaker 3: It just comes down a character when you commit, see
- 25:24Speaker 3: your it comes down a character when you commit. Do
- 25:27Speaker 3: you need to follow through a kind of character integrity?
- 25:29Speaker 3: Do you have what commitment?
- 25:30Speaker 1: What is the other commitment? Again, it's just dinner at
- 25:32Speaker 1: her house.
- 25:32Speaker 8: It is just it is a dinner and it was
- 25:34Speaker 8: last minute.
- 25:36Speaker 2: You can't honesty.
- 25:37Speaker 4: Honesty just go to that friend and be like, hey,
- 25:40Speaker 4: I'm so sorry, but my other friend just invited me
- 25:43Speaker 4: the Magic Castle and I really want to go.
- 25:44Speaker 1: I've never been. I love magic.
- 25:46Speaker 7: No, but.
- 25:48Speaker 2: I just started like.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Kayla never like when is michaela ever talks about magic?
- 25:54Speaker 1: But it's her out and about she might meet a
- 25:56Speaker 1: guy there. It was like a Jonas Brothers concert. I
- 25:58Speaker 1: would understand. But the Magic Castle and the Imagic.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Castle is incredible, and your friend is going to say
- 26:05Speaker 3: go because they don't want to make you feel bad,
- 26:07Speaker 3: but they're going to be alone, lonely and sad that
- 26:10Speaker 3: you want.
- 26:10Speaker 2: To and star for a long time. But look, let's
- 26:14Speaker 2: just get to the heart of this.
- 26:15Speaker 3: It is about when you make a commitment, do you
- 26:18Speaker 3: stick to it, even if it means turning down something better.
- 26:20Speaker 1: That's the question I definitely have in the past.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Me too.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I mean, Tanya, but that's what you're doing. You just
- 26:29Speaker 3: need to be honest with what you're doing, so.
- 26:32Speaker 1: You can't bad friend. No, you can't lie your bad friend.
- 26:34Speaker 1: If you lie about it, yeah, I won't lie.
- 26:36Speaker 4: I think if you just tell her the truth and
- 26:38Speaker 4: apologize and be like I owe you one, or let
- 26:41Speaker 4: me take you to lunch, you know, next week.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Or do you mind if I go? And if you do,
- 26:45Speaker 3: I'll stay with you. I'm not going to not say
- 26:49Speaker 3: don't go. And then you've got them on the record
- 26:51Speaker 3: saying to go, so you kind.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Of win win. It's a little manipulative, but it's win win. Yeah.
- 26:56Speaker 1: I like it though.
- 26:57Speaker 3: All right, there you have it, and to you a
- 27:00Speaker 3: friend who will be blown off, We're sorry, but we'll
- 27:04Speaker 3: hang with you. What are My name is Ryan Saisney tiny?
- 27:07Speaker 3: Everybody is here? So tany is a trending report somehow
- 27:11Speaker 3: you think it's the reason I'm afraid of marriage?
- 27:13Speaker 2: What it all clicked.
- 27:14Speaker 1: To me after?
- 27:15Speaker 5: I was like reading into this and I'll explain why.
- 27:18Speaker 5: So Katie Perry released a new song called band Aids.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Last week and I did a voice over.
- 27:24Speaker 1: He actually features your voice.
- 27:27Speaker 3: We have it not stop music is not always hold on.
- 27:35Speaker 1: There's your cameo, but what what are we holding on to?
- 27:38Speaker 2: That's it?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:40Speaker 2: I did like an hour and a half of stuff here.
- 27:45Speaker 4: Too, talking about ten seconds, ten minutes. You did about
- 27:51Speaker 4: five different takes and that's the one they chose.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But I don't know what we're holding on to, hold
- 27:56Speaker 1: on like hang on, like hang on, don't leave?
- 28:02Speaker 2: Okay, why is this my marriage issue?
- 28:04Speaker 1: Okay?
- 28:04Speaker 5: So the song gives a lot of details as to
- 28:07Speaker 5: what happened in her relationship with Orlando Bloom. So they
- 28:09Speaker 5: split back in June after nearly a decade together. So
- 28:12Speaker 5: these are some of the lyrics. Hand to God, I
- 28:15Speaker 5: promise I tried. There's no stone left unturned. It's not
- 28:19Speaker 5: what you did, it's what you didn't go. You were there,
- 28:24Speaker 5: but you weren't. Got so used to you letting me down,
- 28:30Speaker 5: No use trying to send flowers now telling myself you'll change,
- 28:34Speaker 5: you don't.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Why are you?
- 28:36Speaker 1: I literally had to turn down my volume.
- 28:40Speaker 5: Band aids over a broken heart. So I was reading
- 28:44Speaker 5: these lyrics shouting on it felt I was like there
- 28:50Speaker 5: was a light bulb moment. I was like, this is
- 28:51Speaker 5: what Ryan has been talking about. It's the complacency that
- 28:55Speaker 5: comes with being in a long term relationship and being complacent.
- 28:58Speaker 5: And maybe you know because you're saying it's all the
- 29:01Speaker 5: things he didn't do and all that stuff that kind
- 29:03Speaker 5: of compounds over time. And I was like, oh my gosh,
- 29:07Speaker 5: like this is why Ryan's afraid of.
- 29:10Speaker 9: Marriage, is it? I'm right right, it is not not. Yes,
- 29:16Speaker 9: I know it's one of the reasons. Yes, And I
- 29:20Speaker 9: get fearful of a song written about me if it
- 29:22Speaker 9: didn't work out.
- 29:23Speaker 3: That's frightening. Yeah, I think I've made that point before, Sisney.
- 29:28Speaker 3: It is something that does flow. I think the problem
- 29:30Speaker 3: is at some point you got to just stop thinking exactly,
- 29:33Speaker 3: just got to go for it. And we may be
- 29:36Speaker 3: on the doorstep of that YouTube. We may be what
- 29:39Speaker 3: do you mean by that, Ryan, just what I said,
- 29:42Speaker 3: We may be on the doorstep of not overthinking that.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Okay, Oh, there's like someone that you are willing to
- 29:48Speaker 4: let those guards down for.
- 29:50Speaker 2: No the concept I'm open to.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Oh okay, well, baby steps.
- 29:55Speaker 5: But I do want to say all of this is
- 29:57Speaker 5: like alleged. It's not like Katie's been saying this songs
- 30:00Speaker 5: about Orlando. We're just like reading through the lyrics.
- 30:03Speaker 3: If you want to check out the video and that
- 30:05Speaker 3: six second cameo, go see Katie Perry's video.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Right, thank you, Tanya, And you do know me like
- 30:12Speaker 2: very well, thank you very well.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Yes, Now we need to come in here for a
- 30:15Speaker 3: family meeting. I don't know if this is happening to
- 30:18Speaker 3: anybody else? Tubs chime time, chime, chime in on this
- 30:22Speaker 3: is there a universal phone issue right now? If you
- 30:25Speaker 3: touch the glass, it won't scroll, it won't open up anything.
- 30:28Speaker 2: It'll turn on.
- 30:29Speaker 3: I'll see all my icons, but then if I go
- 30:31Speaker 3: into like a text, it goes black. And then if
- 30:33Speaker 3: the texts come up ten seconds later, I can't slide.
- 30:36Speaker 3: The glass doesn't respond. Anyone having any of.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Those issues, I can agree.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I have had that sliding issue where it.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Frees it try to. Yes, yes, I mean a lot.
- 30:46Speaker 4: It kind of what That kind of went away for me.
- 30:48Speaker 4: But now it's like I'm having email issues. What are
- 30:51Speaker 4: the issues with the emails saying like it's not connecting
- 30:53Speaker 4: to the server. So I'm not getting like I think
- 30:55Speaker 4: I don't have any emails on my phone, and then
- 30:56Speaker 4: I go on my desktop and I have forty emails
- 30:58Speaker 4: that didn't go to my phone. And so that's the
- 31:00Speaker 4: issue right now.
- 31:01Speaker 3: So I thought it was my old phone, which I've
- 31:04Speaker 3: had forever. The case was all chewed up and everything.
- 31:07Speaker 3: So I went and got another phone. Yeah, thinking I'm
- 31:09Speaker 3: going to hit the new phone and it's gonna be fine.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Four hours four hours of transferring data and four hours?
- 31:17Speaker 1: So which how much DI did you have?
- 31:18Speaker 2: This got pictures from nineteen eighty two with them?
- 31:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess.
- 31:21Speaker 2: So.
- 31:23Speaker 3: The thing is what I realized when I had to
- 31:25Speaker 3: try and transfer and it didn't get better.
- 31:27Speaker 2: The new phone was no better for me is the
- 31:28Speaker 2: same problems, which is frustrating. But what I.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Realized I didn't know my password because you got to
- 31:33Speaker 3: put in your real, actual password with your finger yes
- 31:37Speaker 3: to access opening the phone to do all this stuff
- 31:39Speaker 3: to transfer, and I was stumped.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I went once shut down. Yeah, I went twice shut down.
- 31:47Speaker 3: I was so nervous about try number three because if
- 31:49Speaker 3: I did that, it put me out for a day.
- 31:52Speaker 2: So I practice.
- 31:53Speaker 3: You know, you retrace your you don't do it, you
- 31:55Speaker 3: don't touch me, you sort go through the numbers I
- 31:57Speaker 3: got in. But I have the same issues. Is it software?
- 32:01Speaker 3: Is it the divide? I don't know what it is.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Is anybody else experiencing this.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I always have glitch issues with my.
- 32:08Speaker 2: No, but this is different.
- 32:10Speaker 3: This is like you can't move things around or open
- 32:13Speaker 3: them up tubs.
- 32:13Speaker 2: What do you know? I think it's a software. So
- 32:17Speaker 2: you're saying that this is happening with other people, probably
- 32:19Speaker 2: not me because my phone is from twenty and eighteen.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Well that okay, let's talk about that.
- 32:26Speaker 3: But at some point these updates are going to turn
- 32:29Speaker 3: us off, and there they are.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I don't want more updates. I just want to stick
- 32:33Speaker 2: what I got.
- 32:34Speaker 1: The updates fix the glitches.
- 32:36Speaker 3: No, the updates have cause glitches for me in this situation.
- 32:39Speaker 3: I know what you mean, Mikayla. What are the people
- 32:41Speaker 3: saying on the phones?
- 32:43Speaker 8: I mean my roommates have an issues with her new phones,
- 32:46Speaker 8: same thing. Yeah, she's been complaining.
- 32:48Speaker 7: If you're going through this, hit us up here on
- 32:51Speaker 7: air with Ryan Seacrest, Love It Friday, Gus, should we
- 32:58Speaker 7: get to the weekend watch the list here?
- 33:00Speaker 2: What are y'all streaming the weekend watch list? Just not show?
- 33:05Speaker 2: Is Disney? What do you watch in this weekend?
- 33:06Speaker 1: So actually I already watched this and it is a
- 33:08Speaker 1: live watch. It's Mulin Rouge at the Pantages.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Vaz Luhrman's film comes to life on stage and can
- 33:15Speaker 4: I just tell you I was so blown away by
- 33:17Speaker 4: this Broadway show.
- 33:18Speaker 1: I had no idea what I was in store for,
- 33:20Speaker 1: except for.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Like I I was just thinking of the Lady Marmalade song.
- 33:24Speaker 4: And now when I get there, it is like every
- 33:27Speaker 4: pop culture song mixed into this Broadway show. It was
- 33:31Speaker 4: so entertaining. I must see if you love live theater.
- 33:36Speaker 4: It's a pantagious through this weekend.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Very cool, Tanya, what's on your weekend? Watch?
- 33:41Speaker 5: Okay, so it's an embarrassment of riches at our home
- 33:44Speaker 5: right now. I want to give an honorable mention to
- 33:46Speaker 5: Task because we just finished that as well. But my
- 33:49Speaker 5: show this week is Pluribus. It's on Apple TV, and
- 33:53Speaker 5: it is so good. I want to make this show
- 33:56Speaker 5: my new personality.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with that. I want to like I started it.
- 34:00Speaker 5: I want to listen to the accompanying podcast because it's
- 34:02Speaker 5: that good. But basically, what the way Apple describes it
- 34:05Speaker 5: is the most miserable person on Earth must save the
- 34:07Speaker 5: world from happiness.
- 34:09Speaker 1: That's kind of the snaw the previews for this. It
- 34:12Speaker 1: looks good. It's not what it seems.
- 34:15Speaker 5: But there's three episodes out now and then they drop
- 34:18Speaker 5: a new one every Friday.
- 34:19Speaker 2: What is it you want to be after watching this
- 34:21Speaker 2: or do after watching this?
- 34:23Speaker 5: It's such a philosophical like show about life and it
- 34:28Speaker 5: just has Robin and I talking about all these really
- 34:31Speaker 5: interesting things and I don't know.
- 34:33Speaker 1: It's really really good. It's the girl from Better Call Saul.
- 34:36Speaker 3: And also Vince Gilligan who created Breaking Bad. Yeah did
- 34:40Speaker 3: this one too, So got.
- 34:41Speaker 1: One hundred percent on Rotten Tomatoes, Rupy.
- 34:43Speaker 2: What's any we can want to this?
- 34:44Speaker 6: So if you grew up listening to Juang Gabriel like
- 34:47Speaker 6: I did, like my Thias, my aunts, my mom, you
- 34:50Speaker 6: have to check out this documentary Juangabriel on Netflix. So
- 34:55Speaker 6: it's a lot of rare videos, exclusive interviews that basically
- 34:59Speaker 6: reveal the genie, the sacrifices, and the duality between Juan
- 35:04Speaker 6: Gabriel as a public character and then who he was
- 35:07Speaker 6: like behind the scenes. It's really really good. It was
- 35:09Speaker 6: very emotional. But four episodes are out streaming now on tanks.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Thank you, and on my weekend watches. I'm wearing the
- 35:16Speaker 3: T shirt today, Yeah, I like that T shirt. Reel

- 38:29Speaker 3: father's celebration of life.
- 38:31Speaker 2: This is what he wanted.
- 38:33Speaker 3: He actually said it in his last days to us
- 38:36Speaker 3: that he didn't want anyone to wear black. He wanted
- 38:39Speaker 3: to be a good time where people shared memories, and
- 38:43Speaker 3: he wanted there to be a martini and a slider Burger, you.

- 39:25Speaker 1: what that we have figured out?
- 39:28Speaker 3: Gosh, I just was giving you a compliment. What's the
- 39:30Speaker 3: first step to what else?
- 39:31Speaker 1: When do you figure out the issue? Now we can
- 39:33Speaker 1: work on working through it? What issue? Remember the Katie Perry?
- 39:37Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's not an issue. What's the issue?
- 39:39Speaker 5: The issue is that you feel like they're when you're
- 39:42Speaker 5: in a long term relationship, that these things you might
- 39:44Speaker 5: get complacent.
- 39:45Speaker 1: And so now that we know that we can work
- 39:47Speaker 1: on that, what.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Do you mean we are you along with me in
- 39:49Speaker 2: a side?
- 39:50Speaker 1: Can you imagine?
