- 0:00Speaker 1: I finally got to go out in the real world
- 0:02Speaker 1: for a work event. I got to play some cornhole,
- 0:05Speaker 1: and I haven't got to play that in forever. One
- 0:08Speaker 1: team was like a they brought their own bags. They
- 0:10Speaker 1: play in a league. Friend's like, hey, h twenty bucks
- 0:14Speaker 1: a person, let's put this on this game, and I'm like,
- 0:16Speaker 1: all right, shit, why not? I'm feeling good. Who cares.
- 0:19Speaker 1: He goes to throwing it, and he had been rusty
- 0:20Speaker 1: the first three games, but as soon as there's money
- 0:23Speaker 1: on there, he lights up. And he's like, I'm locked
- 0:25Speaker 1: in and he's been calling me and telling me. He goes, hey,
- 0:27Speaker 1: I feel like I'm getting this superpower, and I'm like,
- 0:29Speaker 1: from one. He goes, I've been resisting the urge to
- 0:32Speaker 1: nut and I was like, kid, whoa get out of here.
- 0:35Speaker 1: He goes to the bathroom. He comes back and he goes,
- 0:37Speaker 1: I resist through the urge again and he just points
- 0:39Speaker 1: to his head. I'm like, shut up, nah, and put
- 0:42Speaker 1: the money on the game. He goes over there. I
- 0:44Speaker 1: kid you not. He hold it all four times. The
- 0:48Speaker 1: other guy didn't get one on the board and one
- 0:51Speaker 1: of them fell off. We skunk. I didn't even throw
- 0:53Speaker 1: a bag and I won twenty bucks and I was like,
- 0:56Speaker 1: I think it's because you did nut, and he just goes, you're.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Right, stay out of my fish.
- 1:02Speaker 3: It's sound.
- 1:07Speaker 4: We did it. We're back and by where it's the boys.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:10Speaker 4: It feels good to have Brandon and you been back
- 1:13Speaker 4: in the house. Fellas. It has been an insane amount
- 1:18Speaker 4: of busyness from the boys the last couple of weeks,
- 1:21Speaker 4: and it's always an interesting time I've had. The good
- 1:23Speaker 4: news is I guess when life is crazy, I just
- 1:26Speaker 4: make the kids come in and record a podcast and
- 1:29Speaker 4: visit a much different vibe, much different. So, fellas, welcome
- 1:34Speaker 4: back and hope, I hope things are good. It's nice
- 1:36Speaker 4: to be able to sit down for at least an
- 1:37Speaker 4: hour and shoot the breeze, as the old timers say.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Good to be back with you boys, and you been.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I hope you're doing well. It's one hundred and some
- 1:45Speaker 3: degrees here and I hate it.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's uh. It went from being like eighty to
- 1:52Speaker 1: like actually like mid seventies to low eighties manageable for
- 1:55Speaker 1: a good week stretch. We were spoiled and then it
- 1:58Speaker 1: was like, hey, you are to turn things up a
- 2:00Speaker 1: little bit, like yeah, just gradually, don't don't go excessive,
- 2:03Speaker 1: like okay, cool one hundred and two Okay, Like is
- 2:05Speaker 1: that is that a good you know, jump from seventy
- 2:07Speaker 1: four to one hundred and two. Yeah, it's it. Oh,
- 2:10Speaker 1: it's miserable. And it was so humid on those low
- 2:14Speaker 1: temperature days too. It didn't even feel like it was cold.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Awful last night, like it was one hundred and one
- 2:21Speaker 3: hundred and two, and last night I was out at
- 2:24Speaker 3: like midnight, dropped down to like eighty five.
- 2:28Speaker 2: It was awful. Man.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yeah, we're got to do an a field in summer.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Got a new ac last year, maybe year and a
- 2:36Speaker 3: half ago, and I haven't set at sixty seventy year round.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Just that's what I have it said at it was
- 2:42Speaker 3: pushing seventy three yesterday.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Boys.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Yeah, we uh, my my house is so old, My
- 2:49Speaker 4: boiler is so old that there is no point in
- 2:51Speaker 4: dropping a couple thousand dollars for central air. So and
- 2:55Speaker 4: it turns out running those window shakers as we call
- 2:57Speaker 4: them in the biz, they they are pretty expensive to run.
- 3:01Speaker 4: So we just broke down. The wife looked at me.
- 3:04Speaker 4: She saw the forecast, and it's supposed to be a
- 3:06Speaker 4: heat index index of like one hundred and five here,
- 3:08Speaker 4: and she goes, can we please get an air conditioner
- 3:11Speaker 4: for our bedroom? And I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 4: I want some women get in the forties. Apparently they're
- 3:17Speaker 4: hot all the goddamn time. So thankfully the place I work,
- 3:21Speaker 4: we can get air conditioners at a pretty good price.
- 3:24Speaker 4: And did it broke it and we haven't, We haven't
- 3:27Speaker 4: used it yet, but it's been toasty for us. It's
- 3:29Speaker 4: supposed to be eighty seven for us, which I think
- 3:32Speaker 4: people in like Arizona in Texters are like eighty son,
- 3:35Speaker 4: I'd kill for that, you know what. But three days
- 3:37Speaker 4: ago was forty six here, So I mean that's pretty
- 3:40Speaker 4: toasty for us for us in North country folks.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Well, I made three bowls of ball soup just checking
- 3:48Speaker 1: the mail yesterday. It was extremely excessive.
- 3:51Speaker 4: And this peach onion American onion, yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Dude, French onion for sure, and a lot of extra
- 3:57Speaker 1: sour cream red one out forehands. So there was still
- 4:00Speaker 1: a little bit of pre com.
- 4:03Speaker 4: A little little garlicy, a little onion.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Y, quite salty. But I grew up in the West
- 4:08Speaker 1: Coast too, I remember that dry heat, that dry heat sucks,
- 4:11Speaker 1: But whenever you add humanity, it is just like you're drowning,
- 4:15Speaker 1: but you're also baking to death. It's hard to explain
- 4:18Speaker 1: like it sucks.
- 4:19Speaker 4: I couldn't imagine having asthma and having to deal with humidity.
- 4:22Speaker 4: I've seen, you know, some kids in sports that are
- 4:25Speaker 4: just like trying to run and trying to work their tail,
- 4:27Speaker 4: and they're just like, I'm like, you poor, I had hit.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I always hit my vape before I do my run
- 4:34Speaker 1: and everything, so I'll just sit there aggressively hitting this penjamin.
- 4:37Speaker 1: One time, I had my headphones and listen to music.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Somebody just kind of snuck behind me and they're like,
- 4:42Speaker 1: did you just hit a vape? And I was like,
- 4:43Speaker 1: oh no, inhaler asthma, and they're like, oh okay. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: was just like crash.
- 4:49Speaker 4: It's just so hot and humid. You saw my breath.
- 4:52Speaker 1: It's like when you see people working out, they start
- 4:53Speaker 1: steaming and everything, and I'm like, nah, not that fit.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Don't have that problem yet.
- 4:57Speaker 4: I saw a meme remember the War Olden was it
- 5:01Speaker 4: Super Mario or Mario where it's like the desert scene
- 5:03Speaker 4: and the sun's coming at you and everything. There's a
- 5:05Speaker 4: meme that was out there that said the thing my
- 5:07Speaker 4: childhood prepared for me for this because this is a
- 5:10Speaker 4: depiction of today or something like that, and I was like,
- 5:13Speaker 4: I feel like that. Like Robert Michaalis and Florida. He
- 5:17Speaker 4: goes out and runs like six or seven miles every
- 5:19Speaker 4: day and Florida is brutal right now, I don't know
- 5:23Speaker 4: how he went and like he went out and recently
- 5:26Speaker 4: did a marathon or some ship or half a marathon.
- 5:28Speaker 4: I don't know, million more miles than I probably put
- 5:30Speaker 4: on my car yesterday running. But when you see a
- 5:33Speaker 4: guy like that, like hurt and hard in a cold
- 5:35Speaker 4: plunge after that, it's like, man, imagine what a du
- 5:38Speaker 4: to like one of us like out of shape just
- 5:41Speaker 4: not running like that heat would probably kill us.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Oh for sure. Even this morning, like I did, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: got up and I knocked out a five k. There's
- 5:50Speaker 1: a lady's husband that he goes out and he does
- 5:53Speaker 1: because he's like, oh, I run every day too, And
- 5:54Speaker 1: I was like, oh, swee, how much do you go?
- 5:55Speaker 1: So I just knock him out, you know, between seven
- 5:57Speaker 1: ten miles a day, And I'm like, huh, I'm over here.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm like patting myself in the back. I'm like, hell, yeah, dude,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you knocked out three miles before most people even got
- 6:05Speaker 1: out of bed this morning. Like, you're doing good. You
- 6:06Speaker 1: know this guy lapped me multiple times.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Dude, I'm over here.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, my first two laps, I was like,
- 6:13Speaker 1: this is impressive. You're doing good. Everything is great. And
- 6:16Speaker 1: I just see him.
- 6:17Speaker 2: I'm like, you son of a f You So do
- 6:21Speaker 2: you do like a k every day?
- 6:24Speaker 1: So I didn't originally. I started doing just a mile originally,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and then I've worked myself up to do a five
- 6:30Speaker 1: k every day now, so it's not like a consistent run.
- 6:33Speaker 1: It's me trying to go at a consistent space for
- 6:36Speaker 1: as long as I can and then speed walking going again.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But yeah, so a three point one miles minimum at
- 6:44Speaker 1: least every day, that's what I've been trying.
- 6:47Speaker 3: When I started, it was like three k and then
- 6:49Speaker 3: I've worked my way up to five k. But what
- 6:51Speaker 3: did it was the liquid cheese at Arby's that get
- 6:54Speaker 3: you over the edge for that five thousand calories every
- 6:57Speaker 3: day if you're pushing Jamoka shakes will help too.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Can't spell it, but I sure want one.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Okay, I'm hitting men.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't even have this run and you look great?
- 7:08Speaker 4: You do, Thinkyboddy.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a lot of people at work too. So
- 7:11Speaker 1: I've been outside a lot too, so I'm getting some color.
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm not as pasty as I was usually too, but
- 7:16Speaker 1: I've got the scale doesn't show it. I've been lifting
- 7:19Speaker 1: to so everyone's like, well, the muscle waste more. I'm like,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm not getting that much. I'm like, I'm being realistic,
- 7:24Speaker 1: but they say, don't check the scale. I've been checking
- 7:27Speaker 1: that shit every other day. Just I'm like, shit, better
- 7:31Speaker 1: be working. Because I had my six week follow up
- 7:34Speaker 1: last Friday and they were like, hey, they're like, dude,
- 7:38Speaker 1: looking good, and I'm like yeah, but I just get
- 7:39Speaker 1: on the scale and I realized that I lost one pound?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Are you kidding me? And I'm like, I just did
- 7:45Speaker 1: like eighty miles this month and you're telling me one pounds.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I'm I've been eating drinking smoothies, not eating unhealthy. You
- 7:53Speaker 1: know how hard it is to smoke weed and not
- 7:55Speaker 1: eat snacks. I'm like this, I'm gonna jump in traffic.
- 7:59Speaker 1: This is not worth it. I was like, somebody, you're
- 8:01Speaker 1: you're building all that muscle, though, dude, that's what you're doing.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And that's what they keep saying and everyone. I keep
- 8:05Speaker 1: getting the compliments, but apparently they my doctor said, hey,
- 8:08Speaker 1: I think you're getting a little body to morphia. I'm
- 8:10Speaker 1: like what I was like, No, I get out of
- 8:13Speaker 1: the shower, I look in the mirror, I see my tits.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Don't you know what we need.
- 8:17Speaker 3: We need to do? Because I don't. I assume you haven't.
- 8:19Speaker 3: You didn't take a before picture. What we need to
- 8:22Speaker 3: do is we need to pull up an episode of
- 8:24Speaker 3: the show from like a year ago to show him
- 8:27Speaker 3: the difference that you like, you see not just in
- 8:29Speaker 3: your face and your physique, but like just in your aura.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I know that's not to be all like weird, stony
- 8:34Speaker 3: like crystals kind of audio.
- 8:36Speaker 1: So you're gonna put a crystal in my ass because
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm not opposed that.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I'm not going to oppose it. That's not what I
- 8:41Speaker 2: was going to start with.
- 8:44Speaker 4: That's where we landed.
- 8:45Speaker 2: We're gonna work our way up.
- 8:46Speaker 1: My chakra, my chakra as well. No what uh, No,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I appreciate And that's again, even people at work, they
- 8:51Speaker 1: they they're like, hey man, they're like, damn and some
- 8:54Speaker 1: of them are like, are you a meth And I
- 8:55Speaker 1: was like, no, that probably doing this shit. But realistically,
- 9:00Speaker 1: I think i've it's been three three and a half months. Well,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I guess it was like it's probably late February early March,
- 9:06Speaker 1: I think is when I started doing it like the mile.
- 9:09Speaker 1: And then honestly I got to give Burley credit too,
- 9:11Speaker 1: because he was the one that was posting religiously that
- 9:14Speaker 1: he was doing it, and I'm like, man, no offense
- 9:17Speaker 1: to Burley. Shout out to Burley. But I was like, man,
- 9:18Speaker 1: if he can do it, I was like, surely I
- 9:20Speaker 1: can too, and and I was just finding time of
- 9:24Speaker 1: just I don't know, just being like, hey, if I
- 9:27Speaker 1: got to get up early. There was times so I
- 9:28Speaker 1: was gonna be like four forty five five o'clock in
- 9:30Speaker 1: the morning just to do it. And did I want
- 9:32Speaker 1: to know? But something like click, like I still don't
- 9:36Speaker 1: drink pop. My only guilty pleasure is I have one
- 9:38Speaker 1: Gatorade like every other day, and today since I knocked
- 9:41Speaker 1: my shit out early, I was like, oh dad, he
- 9:43Speaker 1: was treating himself early on this Sunday. It's not even
- 9:46Speaker 1: my ten yet, and I was like, I need it.
- 9:49Speaker 3: For the show, I had an oatmeal cream pie in
- 9:51Speaker 3: a nutty bar. That's a precursor for donuts afterwards. Dude,
- 9:54Speaker 3: look at that. I can just tell. Look at this
- 9:56Speaker 3: round shape of your face.
- 9:57Speaker 1: There, it's damn okay. See now, I just okay, maybe
- 10:01Speaker 1: it's just the haircut. I'm not gonna give myself any
- 10:03Speaker 1: compliments until these titties are not existing anymore. I got
- 10:08Speaker 1: head to pull it out.
- 10:09Speaker 2: From and you know, skin doesn't go away.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I know that's I'm afraid to look like fat bastard
- 10:14Speaker 1: at the end where he has like the big vagina
- 10:16Speaker 1: necker and I'm like, I'm gonna have people like ten bucks.
- 10:20Speaker 1: You could I can make some money.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Or just grow bigger beard and hide it.
- 10:25Speaker 1: That's the thing too. I've been cutting the beard a
- 10:26Speaker 1: lot lately too.
- 10:27Speaker 4: I know I've been noticing that.
- 10:29Speaker 1: I'm not judging, like, hey, I noticed it, but f
- 10:32Speaker 1: you not a fan. I know. I just things have changing.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't like who I am. He
- 10:39Speaker 1: said you could be vegan necks, and I'm like, you
- 10:41Speaker 1: gotta be out your damn mind.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Never never and eating the expensive food or the the
- 10:48Speaker 4: healthier food is so much more expensive. So I've just
- 10:51Speaker 4: gotten to the point where I'm like at the place
- 10:53Speaker 4: I shop to get the I mean, I don't see
- 10:56Speaker 4: eggs in colors, but the brown eggs here are they're
- 11:00Speaker 4: they're on their own, and you can only buy two
- 11:01Speaker 4: of them. So I guess so many people are buying
- 11:03Speaker 4: these eggs that they only allowed to buy two twelve
- 11:06Speaker 4: packs of the all organic, free or whatever to how
- 11:10Speaker 4: they market them as. They're three ninety nine, so it's
- 11:12Speaker 4: a hell of a price. I can barely go to
- 11:14Speaker 4: a you know, a roadside stand and get them for that,
- 11:16Speaker 4: and I know they've been cleaned and washed already, so
- 11:18Speaker 4: I don't have to do that shit. But yeah, three
- 11:20Speaker 4: ninety nine and you can only get two. So I've
- 11:22Speaker 4: just been crushed. I crushed like eggs every morning. Then,
- 11:24Speaker 4: like you were saying, I'd do like a yogurt parfait
- 11:26Speaker 4: for lunch, and that's fairly inexpensive. When you start looking
- 11:29Speaker 4: at all that other stuff. It's like man chips and pretzels,
- 11:32Speaker 4: all that stuff are way cheaper than you know, trail
- 11:35Speaker 4: mix and stuff for smoothies.
- 11:36Speaker 1: And I got to unfortunately, there's a target right next
- 11:40Speaker 1: to where I work, and I usually didn't get groceries there,
- 11:42Speaker 1: but I was like, I just don't want to go
- 11:44Speaker 1: to walmarts and hop into Target and they have little
- 11:47Speaker 1: sections to where they have stuff that's getting ready to
- 11:49Speaker 1: expire within like a week or two heavily discounted. So
- 11:52Speaker 1: I was getting my yogurt thicks. I was like, ooh,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I'll go through this in a week. I'm like, yeah,
- 11:55Speaker 1: no worries, and it would be to the point where
- 11:57Speaker 1: it's a decent size container for like a buck fifty.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I'm okay. So, And honestly, I've convinced myself too, because
- 12:04Speaker 1: you know the consistency. I don't eat a lot of
- 12:06Speaker 1: things because I'm a child and I have a child's palate.
- 12:08Speaker 1: But those strawberry banana smoothies, Man, I'm telling you, I've
- 12:12Speaker 1: convinced myself that is a strawberry milkshake. I'm like, I'm like,
- 12:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna eat it. It's super cold and it's good.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I've a little bit of honey in there too, sweeten
- 12:20Speaker 1: it up a little bit. I genuinely look forward to
- 12:23Speaker 1: making those bad boys. My mouth is wide right now.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Normally I'd be like pancake, sausage, bacon, I'm like, no,
- 12:28Speaker 1: not really, give me an overly excessive banana strawberry shake.
- 12:33Speaker 4: I want to do this with the recipe, maybe the
- 12:35Speaker 4: people there. I want one of these. Now, what's the
- 12:37Speaker 4: even clacking off strawberry cream pie smoothie?
- 12:43Speaker 1: So what I usually do is so it's a cup
- 12:45Speaker 1: of cut up strawberries and bananas. But usually I do like,
- 12:50Speaker 1: I'm like seventy percent banana, thirty percent strawberry. So sometimes
- 12:55Speaker 1: I'll even get another hole banana, cut it up, put
- 12:58Speaker 1: it in there right, three fourths cup of milk, half
- 13:02Speaker 1: a cup of Greek vanilla yogurt, just a little drizzle
- 13:07Speaker 1: of honey, and then yeah, I think that's it. That's it. Yeah,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and then just blend that bad boy up. Oh my god.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Simple and I forget how many calories it is not much,
- 13:20Speaker 1: not much at all. I love it. My nits are
- 13:23Speaker 1: getting hard thinking about it.
- 13:24Speaker 4: I'm gonna I'm gonna have to get the fam on
- 13:27Speaker 4: some smoothies because I'm putting the kids. They're officially done school.
- 13:32Speaker 4: The oldest is done school as a Friday, then still
- 13:35Speaker 4: has to go back to do some treasure stuff hashtag nerd.
- 13:38Speaker 4: And then the two other ones they finish up elementary school,
- 13:43Speaker 4: and actually the middle kid it's her last elementary then
- 13:46Speaker 4: she's gonna be going into middle school. So modified soccer
- 13:50Speaker 4: starts and modified sports varsity for the oldest. So they're like,
- 13:55Speaker 4: it was rough last year. We need to work out,
- 13:57Speaker 4: and I was like, okay, so I'm gonna put them through.
- 14:01Speaker 4: I got a nice little workout. And they're like, you're
- 14:02Speaker 4: gonna do it with us, right, And I was like, well,
- 14:05Speaker 4: if I do, I'm gonna have to tweak. So I'm
- 14:08Speaker 4: gonna I'm gonna put them through some workout. So if
- 14:11Speaker 4: anybody out there is interested, I'll share the workout. They're
- 14:14Speaker 4: gonna be hitting some box jumps, some jump roping, some running,
- 14:18Speaker 4: some I'm a big fan of plyometrics. I don't know
- 14:20Speaker 4: if you guys ever did that when you guys were
- 14:21Speaker 4: playing sports in high school or something, it was a plyometrics.
- 14:25Speaker 4: It's more am I saying it wrong?
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm just not fit that I wouldn't. I would have
- 14:31Speaker 1: no idea.
- 14:32Speaker 4: It's more or less what it is. It's a it's
- 14:35Speaker 4: using exercises based on like jumping in agility to increase
- 14:39Speaker 4: your core and your vertical strength. So like when we
- 14:43Speaker 4: first started doing it when I was like a sophomore junior.
- 14:46Speaker 4: We would do I forget the name of it, but
- 14:48Speaker 4: more or less you're two foot and then you just
- 14:50Speaker 4: jump as far as you can and you just land
- 14:53Speaker 4: jump land jump, And by the end of like our thing,
- 14:56Speaker 4: I was able to like jump the length of a
- 14:58Speaker 4: basketball court and like read to five jumps. Like it
- 15:02Speaker 4: was just I mean just work, work, work, work, work,
- 15:04Speaker 4: work work. And then I mean I was still the
- 15:06Speaker 4: goal was to try to be able to dunk. Is
- 15:08Speaker 4: why I was doing it. There's no chance in hell.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I mean I'm not even I'm five ten. I wasn't
- 15:13Speaker 4: able to get there. But I mean just athletic wise,
- 15:16Speaker 4: and it wasn't you don't need heavy weights, he didn't.
- 15:18Speaker 4: You just had to find stuff to jump up jump on,
- 15:21Speaker 4: like we would jump upstairs. We would do box jumps
- 15:24Speaker 4: and just creative like one leg this and that and
- 15:26Speaker 4: like reverse and I don't also, I'm a huge fan
- 15:30Speaker 4: of that because like I said, you don't need anything.
- 15:32Speaker 1: You know, I've been doing like a lap where I'll
- 15:36Speaker 1: do lunges or I'll do like a little backwards jog
- 15:38Speaker 1: and everything just to kind of I don't know, get
- 15:40Speaker 1: loosened up. Also, I'm trying on a hunt for this.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Can you guys hear the cricket. I'm assuming you could
- 15:44Speaker 1: probably hear the cricket.
- 15:45Speaker 4: I haven't heard it yet.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I do, but it's not it's not bad.
- 15:49Speaker 1: It's getting louder every time I mute myself, and I'm
- 15:52Speaker 1: kind of like threatening this thing. He's not scared, honestly,
- 15:55Speaker 1: he's kind of intimidating me at this point because he's
- 15:57Speaker 1: getting louder and closer. I can't see him, but dude,
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm telling he's eventually going to be on the blake.
- 16:05Speaker 1: He is singing me the song of his people. He
- 16:06Speaker 1: is trying to get laid this morning. He's got I
- 16:08Speaker 1: don't blame him.
- 16:11Speaker 4: When you came into the studio, you were jamming some tunes.
- 16:14Speaker 4: So the cricket's just kind of doing his thing and
- 16:16Speaker 4: just jamming some tunes back and have to imagine.
- 16:19Speaker 1: With the Return of the Mac.
- 16:20Speaker 2: I think it was.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Yeah, boy, imagine if he was if he was singing
- 16:23Speaker 4: Return of the Mac chorus just in cricket.
- 16:27Speaker 1: See I keep looking up to it. I didn't realize
- 16:29Speaker 1: that you had gotten laid as well, because I see
- 16:31Speaker 1: that blue lay above you.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Yeah, imagine that that work. Now, somebody's going to be
- 16:37Speaker 4: get on AI and have a cricket singing and jamming
- 16:41Speaker 4: to Return of the Mac and I'm all for it.
- 16:44Speaker 4: And he's goinden wild, hasn't it.
- 16:47Speaker 1: That's eighty percent of my for you page?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Now?
- 16:49Speaker 1: Is it yours to Brandon?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it's definitely changing things.
- 16:53Speaker 3: And you're seeing what's funny as you're seeing such a
- 16:57Speaker 3: and I guess I suppose you would, but.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You're seeing these people that are really diving deep in
- 17:02Speaker 2: No AI.
- 17:02Speaker 3: AI AI is bad. AI is stealing creativity. It's this,
- 17:06Speaker 3: It's that, it's this is a hill people are dying
- 17:08Speaker 3: on and not the hill I would want to die on.
- 17:11Speaker 2: But interesting that they're taking that take. But so I
- 17:15Speaker 2: don't know.
- 17:16Speaker 3: I mean, you're not going to see less of it,
- 17:17Speaker 3: that's the thing. You're only going to see more of it.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Especially it's making these creators a ton of money. I
- 17:23Speaker 4: would have to imagine once they get to the following
- 17:25Speaker 4: to monetize. I mean, these videos just I mean, what's
- 17:28Speaker 4: what's the one that has been all over yours? Mine's
- 17:30Speaker 4: been the Bigfoot yetty vlog style ones and they're getting
- 17:35Speaker 4: thirty forty fifty million views. And back back in the day,
- 17:41Speaker 4: you got a guy on a longboard drinking cranberry juice
- 17:44Speaker 4: getting twenty thirty million views and the guy's life's changed forever,
- 17:47Speaker 4: you know. But I don't. I don't think it's that
- 17:49Speaker 4: kind of social media world right now.
- 17:53Speaker 3: And and but no, but what you're seeing is you're
- 17:55Speaker 3: seeing people take advantage of it to your point, Matt,
- 17:57Speaker 3: I mean a hundred percent. And you're going to see
- 17:59Speaker 3: a lot of probably faceless people, organizations take advantage of this.
- 18:05Speaker 3: And until Facebook or other meta or other platforms put
- 18:09Speaker 3: a cabash on it and don't allow it or only
- 18:11Speaker 3: allow payments on AI content to this much or so,
- 18:16Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Whatever they're going to do.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Well, YouTube definitely going to see You're going to see
- 18:20Speaker 3: people complain, and it's going to get louder for sure.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Well, YouTube has been ahead of it. I don't know,
- 18:25Speaker 4: if you remember, every time you post a video you
- 18:27Speaker 4: can't go past does this contain more or less AI
- 18:32Speaker 4: in this video? Like you know, is it using AI
- 18:35Speaker 4: to change alter or whatever? And as soon as you
- 18:38Speaker 4: put no and it say yes, they're not going to
- 18:39Speaker 4: pay you. And as soon as you pay yes, you're
- 18:41Speaker 4: going to say, well, this goes against our or policy. So,
- 18:44Speaker 4: like I said, I'm going to personally avoid using it
- 18:48Speaker 4: just as like a standalone video on the channel, but
- 18:52Speaker 4: mixing it in dooing reactions and stuff like that with it.
- 18:54Speaker 4: I think there's a lot of fun potential.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I've reacted to AI videos, but I have not implement
- 19:00Speaker 3: A videos myself.
- 19:02Speaker 4: I mean, you have companies out there. It wasn't there
- 19:04Speaker 4: just the first AI video commercial that was released during
- 19:08Speaker 4: like pretty recently. Maybe it was an NBA final or
- 19:11Speaker 4: an NHL game, there was some major one. I remember
- 19:13Speaker 4: reading the headline on it.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 19:15Speaker 3: You know what I've seen a lot of you asked,
- 19:17Speaker 3: you asked, what if I see the most of the
- 19:19Speaker 3: old white lady and the black lady, and the white
- 19:22Speaker 3: lady says racist stuff.
- 19:23Speaker 2: You don't know what you guys, what I'm talking about? Yes, yes,
- 19:25Speaker 2: And it's like so.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Like they're already doing AI skits and this is just
- 19:29Speaker 3: the beginning and you're gonna I mean, it's so these
- 19:32Speaker 3: these people who make skits, like why wouldn't you take
- 19:36Speaker 3: your take your time not to have to spend ninety
- 19:41Speaker 3: minutes to three hours recording a bunch of skits or
- 19:45Speaker 3: one skit, edit it, hope it works. You throw your
- 19:48Speaker 3: shit into a prompt, into chat, GPT or wherever else.
- 19:51Speaker 3: It creates a video for you. You post it and you
- 19:54Speaker 3: own it because you pay the subscription fee. You're saving
- 19:58Speaker 3: your time. Why would you wait your time? You know
- 20:01Speaker 3: it's gonna change things. It's gonna make us lazier. But
- 20:05Speaker 3: but that doesn't mean that all creativity dies, right, It's
- 20:08Speaker 3: just that the lazy people go by the wayside.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Maybe that's good. Maybe maybe maybe, I don't know.
- 20:12Speaker 1: When do you think we'll see like a full sitcom
- 20:15Speaker 1: in AI like uh or a full series that's completely AI.
- 20:19Speaker 3: When you're gonna start seeing uh, Hey, you guys coming
- 20:23Speaker 3: to the Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney and Elvis and
- 20:26Speaker 3: Jesus concert this weekend, the Holograms are going to.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Be on, you know, like mm oh, I hope Jesus
- 20:32Speaker 1: is opening.
- 20:33Speaker 3: But you know what I'm saying, Like you're gonna start
- 20:35Speaker 3: seeing shit like that. Like I was talking about this
- 20:37Speaker 3: to my buddy in there in the radio industry. You're
- 20:39Speaker 3: you're gonna start seeing Casey Kasem died. Well, why can't
- 20:42Speaker 3: we bring Casey Caysum's voice back, pay his family or
- 20:45Speaker 3: it or his estate and use his voice as a
- 20:49Speaker 3: radio station to do the top hits this week in
- 20:52Speaker 3: his voice and have AI ride it, you know whatever.
- 20:56Speaker 3: That's that's the future. That's the future is I want
- 21:00Speaker 3: to listen to a radio station and I want to
- 21:02Speaker 3: have you know, Casey Casem or I want to have
- 21:05Speaker 3: you know whoever your favorite radio host was back in
- 21:07Speaker 3: the day.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Maybe I'm thinking too far, Maybe I'm getting too in
- 21:12Speaker 2: the woods.
- 21:13Speaker 4: And you'll be able to I think too, you'll be
- 21:15Speaker 4: able to pick all right, Casey Caseum and on a
- 21:17Speaker 4: wrap playlist, you know what I mean, or Casey Casem
- 21:20Speaker 4: in this and you know, and like you said, all
- 21:22Speaker 4: these legendary hosts and it's going to just be like
- 21:24Speaker 4: Spotify DJ and you know, and just that it's going
- 21:27Speaker 4: to be. It's gonna be wild. I think to kind
- 21:30Speaker 4: of put my two cents in on your question. Even
- 21:32Speaker 4: I think there's going to be an AI movie before
- 21:35Speaker 4: a sitcom or something. I think you're going to start seeing,
- 21:38Speaker 4: you know, some actors, they're already getting fired up about
- 21:41Speaker 4: how it's going to take their job and this and that,
- 21:43Speaker 4: and you know the animated movies where now anybody and
- 21:45Speaker 4: their brother can kind of come up with these series.
- 21:47Speaker 4: And but at the other maybe it takes these super
- 21:50Speaker 4: creative people that have been in the industry for years.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Maybe they're going to have to evolve and you'll see some,
- 21:55Speaker 4: you know, much better production stuff from them.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Do you know what argument I've heard from a couple
- 21:59Speaker 3: of acts your friends I've got and I'm not in
- 22:01Speaker 3: the industry at all, so I don't not on NAFTA, SAFTA,
- 22:06Speaker 3: sagged foe, whatever the heck it's called.
- 22:08Speaker 4: But you've been sad all those diseases.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I know some of them.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Some of them are sticky and smell. But he said,
- 22:14Speaker 3: do you remember when they do you remember when they
- 22:16Speaker 3: told what was that?
- 22:17Speaker 2: No?
- 22:17Speaker 1: I just sniffed my fingers. I go, he's right.
- 22:19Speaker 3: You remember when they said that we were going to
- 22:22Speaker 3: get three D TVs in our homes? Remember that that
- 22:25Speaker 3: was going to be the new rage? Do you need
- 22:27Speaker 3: to theaters are going to be gone, Actors are going
- 22:29Speaker 3: to be I mean, the radio industry has been dying
- 22:32Speaker 3: since TV was created, right I to this day, I
- 22:34Speaker 3: still get asked at least once a year what's it
- 22:36Speaker 3: like to be working in an industry that's dying? And
- 22:39Speaker 3: it's like, what's it like to be a idiot that
- 22:40Speaker 3: doesn't really know anything? Because our industry is better than ever.
- 22:43Speaker 3: More people are listening to radio AM and FM in
- 22:46Speaker 3: their cars they than they have in the last fifteen
- 22:48Speaker 3: years anyway. So it's just it's it's like it's right
- 22:52Speaker 3: in front of you, but you can't make people understand it,
- 22:55Speaker 3: so you just kind of have to let them walk
- 22:56Speaker 3: through their own ignorance.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I will say that I personally have I've listened to
- 23:00Speaker 1: more AM and FM radio myself in the last two
- 23:04Speaker 1: or three years than I probably have in the last
- 23:06Speaker 1: decade because I don't know, Like, I don't want to
- 23:09Speaker 1: pay for series XM. That shit's too expensive. I don't
- 23:12Speaker 1: like it. I have Spotify, so I have Bluetooth in
- 23:16Speaker 1: my vehicle. I'm just already have a playlist, no ads.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I usually just listen to the same shit over and
- 23:21Speaker 1: over again. But usually whenever it's not connected, there is
- 23:24Speaker 1: a local station that I'm like, all right, and it
- 23:27Speaker 1: catches up some current news what's going on. I don't
- 23:30Speaker 1: watch a lot of TV, so I don't watch the
- 23:32Speaker 1: news so it's the main way that I figure out
- 23:34Speaker 1: what's going on besides Facebook.
- 23:36Speaker 2: So two things.
- 23:38Speaker 3: First of all, everybody was alwaying I don't listen to
- 23:40Speaker 3: the radio, and I'm like, yeah, neither do. I don't
- 23:41Speaker 3: feel bad. It's okay, Like I'm on the radio, I
- 23:43Speaker 3: don't have to.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Listen to it.
- 23:44Speaker 3: But I have found myself and a lot of people
- 23:46Speaker 3: are finding themselves in the same spot you are. Youban
- 23:48Speaker 3: which is I like serious FM? I like having Spotify
- 23:52Speaker 3: or Apple Music or whatever you listen to. But I
- 23:55Speaker 3: don't have that local voice that's telling me, Oh, there's
- 23:58Speaker 3: a grain fire in the county, that's where that smoke
- 24:01Speaker 3: smell is coming from it. Oh, tonight Sandy Creek is
- 24:03Speaker 3: playing Donovan Trumbull. It's the big football game, you know whatever.
- 24:07Speaker 3: So you're not getting that local voice that's telling you
- 24:10Speaker 3: what's happening in your place right now.
- 24:12Speaker 2: AI will change that will change that. Now.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Are you comfortable with talking to a computer and having
- 24:19Speaker 3: the computer or listening to a computer and having them
- 24:21Speaker 3: explain to you what the wind is like outside or
- 24:25Speaker 3: what the rain is like outside When he's never felt
- 24:27Speaker 3: rain on his face or felt the wind on his face,
- 24:29Speaker 3: or her is I don't know, it's a computer, right,
- 24:32Speaker 3: So you know that's one thing I would say.
- 24:36Speaker 4: And yeah, anyway, and there's something about the relatability. Everybody
- 24:41Speaker 4: wants that moment where it's like, oh that grain fire,
- 24:44Speaker 4: like you were saying that happened over here, dude, I'm
- 24:46Speaker 4: like forty five minutes from that thing that happened on
- 24:49Speaker 4: the news. It's always been a thing that I've at
- 24:51Speaker 4: least seen, whether maybe it's small town only because you
- 24:53Speaker 4: take a little bit of pride. I'm sure there's people
- 24:55Speaker 4: in the city that could give a shit about it,
- 24:57Speaker 4: but there's always just something like, oh my god, that
- 24:59Speaker 4: happened to me. You're like, oh my god, Syracuse actually
- 25:01Speaker 4: won a national championship in two thousand and three. Everybody
- 25:04Speaker 4: within four hours of Syracuse was like, I'm so close, yes, Syracuse,
- 25:08Speaker 4: and it's like and then you got the people that
- 25:09Speaker 4: are rating the heart of Syracuse be like, this is
- 25:11Speaker 4: my team. Carmelo is me. I've been buying Carmelo bars
- 25:14Speaker 4: when before Carmelo was born. You know, it's just there's
- 25:18Speaker 4: that relatability to local, and that's why I think you're
- 25:20Speaker 4: seeing a lot of content creators that are going around
- 25:22Speaker 4: to local places, food bars and everything. And people love
- 25:27Speaker 4: seeing their hometown a spot that they can physically go
- 25:30Speaker 4: in touch be in some kind of content or news,
- 25:34Speaker 4: And I don't know, it's pretty cool. I know, I've
- 25:36Speaker 4: been racking my brain to try to do something up
- 25:37Speaker 4: here locally. You know, the four restaurants and the twenty
- 25:40Speaker 4: seven bars that are up here.
- 25:42Speaker 3: You want to talk about AI could go jumping back
- 25:44Speaker 3: here just a minute. How AI's changed for me. There
- 25:47Speaker 3: were two separate videos I saw that were done in
- 25:49Speaker 3: two separate ways that to me culminated news entertainment and
- 25:56Speaker 3: how can we make money off of this? You remember
- 25:57Speaker 3: the Katy Perry thing she went into space blah blah blah.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Somebody turned that into a video about her being a muppet.
- 26:02Speaker 3: You remember that. It was a video of her being
- 26:05Speaker 3: a muppet and she was on a toilet and she
- 26:07Speaker 3: farted and it was a rocket ship. She turned into
- 26:10Speaker 3: a rocket ship and she was a muppet the whole day.
- 26:12Speaker 3: She's like ooh ooh, And it was the most hilarious
- 26:14Speaker 3: thing you've seen. Had Jeff Bezos in it as a muppet,
- 26:17Speaker 3: had you know, like her. I can't remember who she
- 26:20Speaker 3: Orlando Bloom was in it as a muppet, you know,
- 26:22Speaker 3: like a who bunch of people.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It was nuts.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Please tell me Mike Rowe narrated it.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I'll find it.
- 26:27Speaker 3: There's a whole channel that does like all this stuff.
- 26:29Speaker 3: And then there's a separate video where somebody took the
- 26:33Speaker 3: night at the Roxbury. You guys seen the movie, Yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 3: well the wedding scene where he shows up with the
- 26:40Speaker 3: speaker books. They took it and they made Trump Will
- 26:44Speaker 3: Ferrell and they made Elon the brother holding the thing,
- 26:47Speaker 3: and it was the It was the I made some
- 26:50Speaker 3: comments last night, some tweets that were way too far
- 26:53Speaker 3: about President Trump, and it had Camala, it had Clinton,
- 26:57Speaker 3: it had everybody in it. And I just said to myself,
- 27:00Speaker 3: this is how I want to consume news now. This
- 27:03Speaker 3: is this is a news entertainment. It's how I want
- 27:09Speaker 3: to consume media now. I don't want to watch CNN
- 27:12Speaker 3: or Fox News, cable news at all. It has nothing
- 27:14Speaker 3: to do with where you stand on the plittal. I
- 27:16Speaker 3: want to consume news in a funny way.
- 27:20Speaker 1: That's what I want it to be.
- 27:21Speaker 3: I can't wait for the Iran ones, you guys like
- 27:24Speaker 3: they're gonna be great.
- 27:25Speaker 1: So I was, I was so far behind on that too.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I WASNA said, because don't. I don't pay attention to
- 27:29Speaker 1: the news or anything like that. So I was, no,
- 27:32Speaker 1: You're fine, no, because I agree because I want my
- 27:34Speaker 1: news to be accurate. I want it to be hilarious,
- 27:37Speaker 1: and I want it to be memorable, you know what
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mean. Like that's the thing is if it sticks
- 27:40Speaker 1: with me, I'm like, oh shit, I remember that happening.
- 27:43Speaker 1: And then if I can correlate it to Elon holding
- 27:46Speaker 1: up a phone box, so be it like that's hilarious.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And but I don't know, Like I woke up this
- 27:52Speaker 1: this morning when I was They're going through my phone
- 27:53Speaker 1: before when I was stretching and I saw They're like, hey,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I have one prepping for World War three, and I'm like,
- 27:57Speaker 1: here we go again. And then I look and I
- 27:59Speaker 1: go shit, And I was like, damn, what did I miss?
- 28:03Speaker 1: I was like, what is going on? So I'm always
- 28:05Speaker 1: far behind? So I guess this happened yesterday.
- 28:07Speaker 2: But yeah, can I share this with you guys?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Yes that it looks so good.
- 28:14Speaker 3: So this this guy makes a whole bunch of them.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Doctor Phil like, yes, dude, So anyway, but check it
- 28:19Speaker 3: out here. So you saw my comment, I don't know
- 29:12Speaker 3: if you saw it, next to this is how I
- 29:14Speaker 3: want to consume news from now on. At the end,
- 29:15Speaker 3: it was Wendy because Wendy's Wendy's on Twitter or someone
- 29:19Speaker 3: was making fun of her, and so they like AI
- 29:21Speaker 3: even threw Wendy and they're flipping around like that. It's stupid.
- 29:26Speaker 3: You have to be aware of everything to understand all
- 29:28Speaker 3: of the jokes. And it's like, well, you could almost say,
- 29:32Speaker 3: well SNL did stuff, Yeah they did, but how can
- 29:36Speaker 3: they do it in a thirty second thing on current
- 29:38Speaker 3: events that's happening right for now? Turn it into muppets.
- 29:42Speaker 4: In the Muppets and the Henson Corporation or whatever they are.
- 29:47Speaker 4: I love and that muppets are being brought back and
- 29:50Speaker 4: relevant into the culture. I saw something else. I don't
- 29:54Speaker 4: know if it was the same account, but it was
- 29:55Speaker 4: another one and it was all these muppet style ones,
- 29:59Speaker 4: and I'm like, this is is wild. It's it's getting cool.
- 30:03Speaker 4: But imagine you know what I mean, being like our kids,
- 30:06Speaker 4: you know what I mean, especially the older ones, and
- 30:08Speaker 4: now this is the new norm for them. So I
- 30:10Speaker 4: wonder if it's even as exciting to see all of
- 30:13Speaker 4: this stuff when they're just like, I mean, yeah, it's normal,
- 30:16Speaker 4: like they grew up. They're growing up in the AI era,
- 30:19Speaker 4: and it would be interesting to see, you know, how
- 30:21Speaker 4: that pans out for them, poor little bastards.
- 30:24Speaker 1: I did ask my daughter. I was like, hey, you know,
- 30:27Speaker 1: she's fourteen now, and I told her. I was like, hey,
- 30:29Speaker 1: this this AI stuff, and she's like crazy. I was
- 30:33Speaker 1: like right, I was like, this isn't like cause I
- 30:36Speaker 1: was like, hey, from what I experienced growing up, this
- 30:38Speaker 1: is vastly different, obviously because I'm older than dirt. And
- 30:43Speaker 1: but she's like no, because she grew up like her.
- 30:48Speaker 1: When she up until she was like five, she had
- 30:50Speaker 1: a box TV still like, she rocked DVD players, didn't
- 30:54Speaker 1: have internet, so she got to live a little bit
- 30:56Speaker 1: of that youth and got to experience that for quite
- 31:00Speaker 1: some time before, you know, and her brother's didn't. So
- 31:02Speaker 1: she's like this AI stuff's weird, and I'm like okay,
- 31:05Speaker 1: and I was like, really weird and she goes hilarious.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And so now she's getting the yetty ones and she's
- 31:11Speaker 1: like have you seen have you seen the abominal Snowman?
- 31:14Speaker 2: Once?
- 31:14Speaker 1: And the I'm like, yes, and for some reason too,
- 31:17Speaker 1: I don't know why. The ones that are the most
- 31:18Speaker 1: popular on mine are also like the racist ones. And
- 31:21Speaker 1: I'm like, is this saying something about me? I know
- 31:23Speaker 1: this is a for you page I'm Mike, Or is
- 31:25Speaker 1: this like mine's are always like the cop ones. Every
- 31:28Speaker 1: time that they give like a they're like, hey, here's
- 31:30Speaker 1: your coffee. It's black and he goes get down and
- 31:32Speaker 1: just like shoots it.
- 31:34Speaker 4: So it's location based.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Maybe maybe they look at me and they're like, hmm,
- 31:39Speaker 1: you live in the rural area of Beard White. We're
- 31:43Speaker 1: gonna push this too. And I'm like, okay, all right,
- 31:45Speaker 1: go in. I'm gonna sucker for a good joke regardless.
- 31:48Speaker 1: But I finally got to go out in the real
- 31:51Speaker 1: world for a work event. Is the only shitty thing
- 31:55Speaker 1: is uh the downside? But I got to play some
- 31:57Speaker 1: cornhole and I haven't got to play that in forever.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, let's see if I still got it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: You know, me and my friend who are always on
- 32:05Speaker 1: the teams together, you know, previously when we did play,
- 32:08Speaker 1: He's like, let's put these asses and I was like,
- 32:11Speaker 1: all right, all right, or as he says, let's clap
- 32:13Speaker 1: them cheeks, and I'm like, okay, let's clap them. We
- 32:16Speaker 1: beat three teams. One team was like a they brought
- 32:20Speaker 1: their own bags. They play in a league, and I'm like,
- 32:22Speaker 1: oh shit. So my friend's like, hey, twenty bucks, my person,
- 32:27Speaker 1: let's let's put this on this game. And I'm like,
- 32:28Speaker 1: all right, shit, why not, I'm feeling good? Who cares?
- 32:31Speaker 1: And he goes to throw. I don't know if you
- 32:33Speaker 1: guys ever played do you guys play with a skunk rule.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Like eleven? N?
- 32:38Speaker 1: Yes, sir, yes, Brandon? Do you play that way? Or
- 32:41Speaker 1: do you ever play cornwall?
- 32:42Speaker 2: What's that means? I know what it is? But what's so?
- 32:46Speaker 2: It's you eleven? Nothing? It's game over?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Is that it?
- 32:48Speaker 4: Yes?
- 32:48Speaker 2: Okay?
- 32:49Speaker 4: Got the full point on?
- 32:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:51Speaker 1: He my my teammate. So he starts off. He goes
- 32:54Speaker 1: all right, and he had been rusty the first three games,
- 32:56Speaker 1: but as soon as there's money on there, he lights up.
- 32:59Speaker 1: He goes He's like, I'm in actually, you know what
- 33:01Speaker 1: Before that he's been he's been calling me and telling me.
- 33:04Speaker 1: He goes, hey, I feel like I'm getting this superpower
- 33:06Speaker 1: and I'm like, from one he goes I've been resisting
- 33:10Speaker 1: the urge to nut, and I was like, kid, whoa
- 33:14Speaker 1: get out of here? And so he's he's he's gone.
- 33:17Speaker 1: He's drunk, right, and I'm over there with my like
- 33:20Speaker 1: my toddler. So I'm like, I can't drink. So I'm
- 33:23Speaker 1: like the only sober one there being boring with my water.
- 33:26Speaker 1: He goes to the bathroom. He comes back and he goes,
- 33:29Speaker 1: I resist through the urge again. He goes, I could
- 33:30Speaker 1: have definite rate the bathroom right there, he goes, but
- 33:33Speaker 1: I didn't, and he just points to his head. I'm like,
- 33:34Speaker 1: shut up, nah, and put the money on the game.
- 33:38Speaker 1: He goes over there. I kid you not. He hold
- 33:41Speaker 1: it all four times. The other guy didn't get one
- 33:45Speaker 1: on the board and one of them fell off. We skunk.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I didn't even throw a bag and I won twenty
- 33:50Speaker 1: bucks and I'm like, and so he even forgot. He
- 33:53Speaker 1: came up to me and he was like hell yeah,
- 33:55Speaker 1: And I was like, I think it's because you didn't nut,
- 33:57Speaker 1: and he just goes, you're right.
- 33:59Speaker 4: He goes, you haven't nutted.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Sense I've done it probably ten times. I don't have
- 34:05Speaker 1: that restraint. But he but we played again. Man, because
- 34:08Speaker 1: these guys were like double or nothing. Because the guy
- 34:10Speaker 1: that was right next to me, he had to vendo
- 34:11Speaker 1: me twenty bucks and he goes, I didn't even get
- 34:13Speaker 1: to throw a back, and he goes, you didn't either,
- 34:15Speaker 1: and he goes and you just made twenty bucks. I'm like, yeah, yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 1: I was that crazy. I was like, here, just scan
- 34:20Speaker 1: this QR code that'll take you right to Rea. You
- 34:22Speaker 1: need to pay me that twenty go ahead, and sure
- 34:24Speaker 1: enough we play again. Whoop that ass again. I made
- 34:28Speaker 1: forty bucks playing cornhole. I was like, this is a
- 34:30Speaker 1: good time, Like this is pretty much as pro now.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I know, I'm thinking about joining the league.
- 34:34Speaker 4: You know.
- 34:34Speaker 1: I was like, who needs darts now? Whenever I'm we're
- 34:36Speaker 1: this deadly on the bag set as well. But they
- 34:39Speaker 1: they had all these different little events out there. When
- 34:41Speaker 1: the last time you guys played teather ball twelve years old,
- 34:46Speaker 1: That's what I'm dude, I was thinking. I was like,
- 34:48Speaker 1: I think I was in middle school the last time
- 34:50Speaker 1: I played with one of these, and they're like yeah,
- 34:52Speaker 1: and nobody was sitting there. I kept seeing it. I'm like,
- 34:54Speaker 1: nobody's playing with this.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Thing and this maybe nobody knew how to well.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That's why I was like, I'll go out there. I'm
- 34:59Speaker 1: gonna go. They had the ball though, all the way
- 35:01Speaker 1: down almost to the ground. It was six inches from
- 35:04Speaker 1: the ground, and I was like, what are you guys
- 35:06Speaker 1: wanting to kick this? And they go, well, we didn't
- 35:07Speaker 1: really know how to play it. What is this? And
- 35:10Speaker 1: I was like, you guys don't know what tow the
- 35:11Speaker 1: ball is. So I fixed it up and everything, and
- 35:13Speaker 1: then me and this maintenance guy, he's like, oh, he's
- 35:15Speaker 1: like I'm undefeated. I was like, I cannot wait to
- 35:17Speaker 1: whoop your ass. And I did just undefeated in so
- 35:21Speaker 1: many games. The only thing I didn't tackle was this
- 35:23Speaker 1: sixty foot inflatable obstacle course that I was kind of
- 35:26Speaker 1: like bragging about the entire week. I was like, I'm
- 35:29Speaker 1: gonna make that thing, my bitch. I cannot wait. I
- 35:32Speaker 1: was like, I'm gonna be slipping inside and it's gonna
- 35:34Speaker 1: be a hot day. I'm gonna have me some fun
- 35:36Speaker 1: until I see the small little blocks that you have
- 35:40Speaker 1: to climb up this thing. Hell no, I was like,
- 35:43Speaker 1: I am not breaking an ankle and embarrassing myself in
- 35:45Speaker 1: front of all these kids. No, So that was the
- 35:47Speaker 1: only thing I pussed out on. But it was a good.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Time, of course, pretty awesome.
- 35:53Speaker 1: That sounds, you know. Do I feel like I took
- 35:56Speaker 1: advantage of some drunk people. Yeah, that's their Oh it
- 36:00Speaker 1: can't handle your shit. But I don't know. It's been
- 36:03Speaker 1: a while since I played some cornhole and people have
- 36:05Speaker 1: different rules. So that's why I was asking about that
- 36:06Speaker 1: whole skunk thing, because we mentioned it to one other
- 36:08Speaker 1: ones and they go skll They said skunk was seven nothing,
- 36:11Speaker 1: and I was like seven Jesus sound was like, I
- 36:14Speaker 1: accept a little bit higher than maybe eleven.
- 36:16Speaker 4: But yeah, I've never heard seven nothing on a skunk.
- 36:20Speaker 4: But it is it is wild that so many different,
- 36:25Speaker 4: you know, people have different rules. Like I don't get that.
- 36:28Speaker 4: It's it's the game you either go by. I mean,
- 36:30Speaker 4: I guess you could have house rules, but why you
- 36:32Speaker 4: like I went to places where and I'm just like,
- 36:35Speaker 4: all right, I'm not playing anymore with it. When you
- 36:36Speaker 4: put them in the hole, the threes and on the
- 36:39Speaker 4: board ones are two different scoring, and I'm like, what, like,
- 36:43Speaker 4: so if you put two in and they put three
- 36:45Speaker 4: on the board, you get six, they get three, And
- 36:49Speaker 4: I'm like, this makes I don't like this and they're like, yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 4: they're two differ. I'm like, you are making this way
- 36:53Speaker 4: more complicated. Take the toll and they're like, this is
- 36:55Speaker 4: out We've always played. And I'm like, well, you're an
- 36:58Speaker 4: idiot and I'm not playing anymore.
- 37:00Speaker 1: You just deduct right, the same thing. So if you
- 37:01Speaker 1: if you had two in the whole, they had three
- 37:02Speaker 1: on the board, you got three points, right, Yeah, that's yeah,
- 37:05Speaker 1: that's what we And so it's kind of like again
- 37:07Speaker 1: beer pong. If you go to back in the day, algy.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Just cancel each other out, man.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Yeah. I would sit there and I go to people's houses.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I'm playing on like beer pong, and I'm like thinking, like, okay,
- 37:18Speaker 1: these rules are universal. No, every house had different there's
- 37:21Speaker 1: always house rules, house rules, And I'm like, I'm so
- 37:24Speaker 1: tired to hear that, Like, let's just have universal official
- 37:26Speaker 1: beer pong rules. Let's follow them. We all have the posters,
- 37:29Speaker 1: hang them up in your garage, let's follow them. You know. No,
- 37:33Speaker 1: but there was something if the ball rolled back, like go,
- 37:35Speaker 1: it's behind the back, it's all this stuff. Now that
- 37:38Speaker 1: what I do, Like, so I even still use that
- 37:39Speaker 1: to this day. If a ball rolls back, behind the line,
- 37:42Speaker 1: behind the back. Have I only made like two my
- 37:45Speaker 1: entire life? Yes, well, I keep trying.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Do I just practice that sometimes maybe you never know
- 37:50Speaker 4: when that rollback is gonna happen.
- 37:52Speaker 1: I even got a MANI giant. What's like, it's like
- 37:55Speaker 1: these red solo caps are like this big. For Father's Day,
- 37:58Speaker 1: it was a little beer pong set but with like
- 38:01Speaker 1: a pham baseball about yea big. And I absolutely shit
- 38:06Speaker 1: on my kids where they were getting kind of mad.
- 38:07Speaker 1: They're like, that is hot out here, and I was like,
- 38:09Speaker 1: don't worry, this will be quick. Boom boom, and had
- 38:13Speaker 1: the youngest on my team. My daughter was not happy
- 38:17Speaker 1: with her older brother because he did not make one
- 38:20Speaker 1: shot in until the very end, and she let him
- 38:23Speaker 1: know the entire time he put hhots.
- 38:27Speaker 4: There's been a lot of family pickleball being played up
- 38:30Speaker 4: here in driveways and it gets pretty heated, pretty competitive,
- 38:34Speaker 4: which is fun, but at the same point, it's like, guys,
- 38:37Speaker 4: this is you are acting out of control right now
- 38:40Speaker 4: because you're losing, like but they're also goddamn competitive, and
- 38:44Speaker 4: I'm like, my bad.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I wonder where they get that from.
- 38:47Speaker 4: I mean, granted, I going out there and I'm not
- 38:49Speaker 4: letting any of them win. But every once in a
- 38:51Speaker 4: while they'll make me play opposite hand. I'm already, so
- 38:53Speaker 4: I gotta play lefty only still dominate.
- 38:57Speaker 1: I can't let them win.
- 38:58Speaker 4: No. No, the kids want to do a thing where
- 39:01Speaker 4: we see how many different pickleball courts we can play
- 39:04Speaker 4: on this summer. And I'm like, cool, well we can
- 39:07Speaker 4: do that. There's only like five in the entire area,
- 39:09Speaker 4: so that shouldn't be hard to accomplish. But they're talking
- 39:11Speaker 4: about like wanting to like travel an hour and so
- 39:14Speaker 4: just to go play pickleball and then maybe grab something
- 39:16Speaker 4: to eat. And I'm like, yeah, it sounds expensive, but fun.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Let's go make some memories.
- 39:22Speaker 1: It's like, can't we just do this in the driveway,
- 39:24Speaker 1: you know, and I just make you a sandwich.
- 39:26Speaker 2: That's the move.
- 39:27Speaker 4: That's why I bought the portal. They're like, we have
- 39:28Speaker 4: a portable travel net, so we can just go find
- 39:30Speaker 4: places in different play and play. And I'm like, well,
- 39:33Speaker 4: then what's gonna happen is I'm gonna get on just
- 39:36Speaker 4: paddles dot com and it's like just bats and just
- 39:39Speaker 4: love and I'm gonna find, you know, a three hundred
- 39:41Speaker 4: dollars pickleball paddle for like seventy bucks. And then I'm
- 39:44Speaker 4: gonna be like we're called were and I'm gonna be
- 39:47Speaker 4: a tournaments. It's gonna be a thing. I know me.
- 39:50Speaker 2: I've never tried it.
- 39:50Speaker 3: But if you went to just paddles dot com but
- 39:54Speaker 3: instead of the s put a d you might be
- 39:56Speaker 3: messed up.
- 39:58Speaker 4: I heard you typing that and you just checked it out,
- 40:00Speaker 4: didn't you.
- 40:03Speaker 1: That was a favorite. He got there quick.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Yeah, can't be read.
- 40:07Speaker 4: Well.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I forgot that we had even received that pick a
- 40:10Speaker 1: ball set that one time at Yeah. So I went
- 40:13Speaker 1: to a pickle ball court and where it had some
- 40:15Speaker 1: other like mentor golf and other stuff there. So but
- 40:18Speaker 1: I was like, I'm gonna bring it. And I'm sitting
- 40:19Speaker 1: there unzipping this bad boy at the little table outside,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and I hear one other guy that was walking that
- 40:24Speaker 1: had gotten some from the desk inside, and he goes,
- 40:27Speaker 1: oh shit, that guy's got his own case and everything.
- 40:29Speaker 1: And I'm like, well, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm trash.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I was like, this was gifted figured out to go
- 40:33Speaker 1: ahead and bring in stuff, and they go yep, uh huh.
- 40:36Speaker 1: And then they watched me and they go, oh, we
- 40:38Speaker 1: get it now, and I was like, I told you
- 40:39Speaker 1: I am not athletic.
- 40:41Speaker 4: That is every time I got we got those until
- 40:43Speaker 4: you just mentioned I have to find one of those
- 40:45Speaker 4: and bust them out. It was prime McKnight pickleball.
- 40:48Speaker 1: That's what it was.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:49Speaker 1: It came with four balls and two paddles, I believe.
- 40:52Speaker 1: So we were using that shit.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Even my daughter used the other one. She loved it
- 40:55Speaker 1: as well, had a nice grip on it.
- 40:57Speaker 4: It was nice interesting. Okay, Now I gotta find where
- 40:59Speaker 4: those are gonna play around. Well I was gonna say
- 41:01Speaker 4: we're gonna play around today, but looking at the weather,
- 41:04Speaker 4: probably not going to go play in ninety degree pick
- 41:06Speaker 4: a ball humidity not one hundred here. Yeah, maybe I'll
- 41:11Speaker 4: still do that, but I don't know. I think I
- 41:15Speaker 4: think that's a wrap. I know we all got a
- 41:16Speaker 4: lot of things to do. I looked at the clock.
- 41:18Speaker 4: Seems like a good time to say goodbye. So boys,
- 41:22Speaker 4: always a pleasure. Thankful for both of you and hopefully
- 41:27Speaker 4: your you know your your swamp ass is mildly under control,
- 41:33Speaker 4: and you guys, AC's will continue to work and I
- 41:36Speaker 4: might have to turn mine on today. So but either way,
- 41:39Speaker 4: anybody's still listening for whatever reason, we appreciate you as well,
- 41:42Speaker 4: and we'll be back next week. Well hopefully we will.
- 41:45Speaker 4: I don't know what next week is at this point.
- 41:47Speaker 4: There's a good chance that something will be put out
- 41:49Speaker 4: next week, and hopefully it'll be the three of us,
- 41:51Speaker 4: but if not, that's all we got, and the kids
- 41:54Speaker 4: are watching. Stay out of our frigid little bastards. Although
- 41:58Speaker 4: you can get into mind, it's mostly alcohol at this point,
- 42:00Speaker 4: so if you're not gonna find much, so that's how
- 42:01Speaker 4: we got. We'll be back next week. Be good, dear wingers.
- 42:04Speaker 4: Oh bye knocking.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Who's there? It's the podcast Who the Doors?
- 42:09Speaker 4: Stay out of my fresh.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Wear that ready to explore. Gotta tell the tale, Gonna
- 42:13Speaker 2: make you laugh and make.
- 42:15Speaker 4: You smile, So buckle up, tie, it's gonna.

- 42:23Speaker 2: secret
