- 0:25Speaker 3: It does.

- 0:37Speaker 4: best sit-in.
- 0:38Speaker 1: DC.
- 0:38Speaker 3: DC was awesome.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I enjoyed watching the episode. He brought the energy. Oh,
- 0:42Speaker 1: you watched? Yeah.

- 0:48Speaker 1: the episode.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Especially with cooking. Fat Boy Fridays.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Fat Boy Fridays.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Said that you've been involved and you actually, you know,
- 0:56Speaker 1: cook sometimes.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Ray, how has your cooking journey grown?
- 0:59Speaker 3: You know, it's, I made myself breakfast this morning.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:03Speaker 4: And as I sat there, I was like, dang, I
- 1:06Speaker 4: can kind of get behind it, but it'd be the
- 1:07Speaker 4: dishes that, I'd be sitting there like, I might sit
- 1:11Speaker 4: there for a couple hours.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I'll get to it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's tough.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15Speaker 1: What'd you make for breakfast?
- 1:16Speaker 3: I just had simple. I had some fruit, eggs, bacon, pancakes.
- 1:21Speaker 1: That's like a hearty breakfast to cook on your own.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shout out YouTube. Thank you. Shout out YouTube.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Did you do the pancakes from a box or from scratch?
- 1:32Speaker 4: I bought the box and I did not use it.
- 1:34Speaker 4: I did it from scratch. That's why I said shout
- 1:37Speaker 4: out YouTube.
- 1:38Speaker 1: How'd they turn out? Fluffy?
- 1:40Speaker 3: They were amazing. I ate them.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Delightful?
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah, great.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You a syrup guy? Butter guy?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Syrup.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Both.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Both.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Both. Little jam on them?
- 1:48Speaker 3: Nah, okay. You're bugging now.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We're going too far. No jam.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Too far.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Are you anti-jam?
- 1:55Speaker 4: Nah, I just feel like jam going like toast. You
- 1:57Speaker 4: know what I'm saying? Like butter and jam.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yep.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It's a Philly thing.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Maybe you should start like your own... instagram tiktok series
- 2:08Speaker 1: where you're showing the people how to cook.
- 2:10Speaker 4: No i got that's too much see so dc had
- 2:12Speaker 4: his you know fat boy fridays.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I had big back thursdays.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Yeah so that's why i just go eat the food
- 2:18Speaker 4: y'all cook it i'll just bring the big back just
- 2:21Speaker 4: give me a plate that's it and i'll rate the.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Food okay what's some of the best food you've had lately.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Oh you're gonna get me in trouble here okay um
- 2:31Speaker 4: all right i i will admit i love pasta Public House.
- 2:36Speaker 3: On the Lake.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Public House on the Lake.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yes. They have this Nola pasta that is amazing.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Where is that?
- 2:42Speaker 4: It is in Hamburg right across from what? Bella's Pizza?
- 2:45Speaker 4: Bella's like near that 7-Eleven. I'm still new to Buffalo and.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I've been here for a minute.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You can't say that anymore.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Public House on the Lake. Nola pasta. Go try it.
- 2:56Speaker 1: What's in it? Like Cajun pasta?
- 2:57Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Other spots, you know, I love the steaks
- 3:01Speaker 3: from Lucia's and all that.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Have you ever been to Elio's?
- 3:05Speaker 1: I've been to Elio's.
- 3:07Speaker 3: Elio's got some good pasta.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Elio's has some good pasta. I'll put you on other pasta.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Have you ever heard of Inisio on Elmwood?
- 3:14Speaker 3: That's too far.
- 3:15Speaker 1: No. Too far.
- 3:17Speaker 3: See anything within more of a 10 minute drive. I
- 3:20Speaker 3: can't do it.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah. It feels like 45. That's a 45 minutes.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It's 25. Listen.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Come on.
- 3:31Speaker 1: You guys need to get out of your Orchard Park bubble. Amen.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And you need to experience Western New York.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Gas ain't cheap no more, man.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Gas ain't cheap. You're making an NFL salary.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Gas ain't cheap, man.
- 3:42Speaker 1: If I can do it, you can do it. I
- 3:46Speaker 1: drive from Elmwood every day out to Orchard Park. Some
- 3:50Speaker 1: great food over there. One day, I'll reel you in
- 3:54Speaker 1: and we'll go get dinner in Elmwood Village. I'll say, Ray.
- 3:58Speaker 1: You got to try this spot. There's some great food.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Too far.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Okay. We'll work at this over time because no fair. Bet.
- 4:07Speaker 1: You limit yourself. There are some great food spots over here,
- 4:11Speaker 1: but there are some great food spots elsewhere too. I bet.
- 4:14Speaker 3: I'll check it out someday.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You're a foodie. Okay. Ray, coming off of a tough
- 4:19Speaker 1: week four game, head coach Joe Brady said, wins and
- 4:22Speaker 1: losses cannot define how we react. How do you resonate?
- 4:27Speaker 1: with what your head coach said.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I mean, you know, it's one game, you know, that's just, it's,
- 4:32Speaker 4: we got, it's what we played about four games now.
- 4:36Speaker 4: I want to say we're good. You know what I'm saying?
- 4:39Speaker 4: We got, it's a 17 game season, right? Like, you know,
- 4:42Speaker 4: you just, you just reset, refocus and just, you know,
- 4:46Speaker 4: make sure that you just do the things you need
- 4:48Speaker 4: to do to continue to prepare each and every week
- 4:50Speaker 4: to go.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I want to know. That's it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: How do you help? give that message to young players
- 4:57Speaker 1: who haven't been through an entire NFL season and sometimes
- 5:01Speaker 1: hard not to ride the highs and lows.
- 5:05Speaker 4: In a way, I feel like I'm still a young player, right? Like, yeah,
- 5:07Speaker 4: you know, I'm in year three. I just finished up
- 5:09Speaker 4: year two. So I kind of just tell myself, right, like, man, again,
- 5:15Speaker 4: it's a long, long season. There's going to be ups.
- 5:17Speaker 4: There's going to be downs. Like, you know, there's teams
- 5:20Speaker 4: in the past who started 0-4 and happened to go
- 5:23Speaker 4: 10 straight right and and there's teams who you know
- 5:26Speaker 4: started six and oh and and gone you know etc
- 5:29Speaker 4: etc like that's just that's the life of football that's
- 5:31Speaker 4: just the way it goes right the way the cookie
- 5:33Speaker 4: cookie crumbles you just got to be able to ride
- 5:35Speaker 4: an even flow state and just play ball until that
- 5:38Speaker 4: last and final whistle.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Even with a loss brady said there's good on the
- 5:43Speaker 1: field there's a lot of good on the film that
- 5:45Speaker 1: we're seeing where do you think that good is showing
- 5:48Speaker 1: up most uh i.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Think I think it's all of us. Like, we're all
- 5:52Speaker 3: just showing up. You know what I'm saying? We're all
- 5:53Speaker 3: just doing what we got to do.
- 5:55Speaker 4: I don't think I could, like, find a specific part.
- 5:58Speaker 4: I think it's just everybody's been doing what they need
- 6:00Speaker 4: to do. Again, you know, it's just the way the
- 6:02Speaker 4: football guys work.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Well, somebody who's been putting a lot of good out
- 6:06Speaker 1: there is wide receiver Keon Coleman. He showed up again
- 6:10Speaker 1: stepping in for DJ Moore. 116 receiving yards, a touchdown,
- 6:15Speaker 1: a couple huge third down conversions where he really showcased
- 6:19Speaker 1: his physical hands and ability to kind of beat a
- 6:22Speaker 1: defender and come down with the football. How is he
- 6:26Speaker 1: grinding behind the scenes?
- 6:29Speaker 3: I mean, Keon is Keon, right?
- 6:31Speaker 4: Like the way you explained that, what he's been doing
- 6:34Speaker 4: in the past game, like that's normal from Keon, right?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Because Keon is just a dog and he works like,
- 6:41Speaker 4: you know, Like they said, he is one of the
- 6:44Speaker 4: smartest players, you know, in this locker room. His IQ
- 6:47Speaker 4: is very high, man, you know. Keon, when he wants it,
- 6:50Speaker 4: he wants it, right? And I think that's just kind
- 6:51Speaker 4: of what he's been doing, the opportunity to present it itself.
- 6:54Speaker 4: And he wants it, and he's just been doing what
- 6:56Speaker 4: Keon Coleman is known to do, and that's to ball,
- 7:00Speaker 4: you know. Enough said right there.
- 7:04Speaker 1: That's what he's known to do, to ball out. It's
- 7:06Speaker 1: been really fun to watch him do that this year
- 7:08Speaker 1: because your name can be called– And you can step
- 7:12Speaker 1: up and sometimes it doesn't look how you want it
- 7:15Speaker 1: to look. But when Keon's been called upon in the
- 7:18Speaker 1: middle of a game, he's shown up and made some
- 7:21Speaker 1: huge plays for the team too. Even like a couple
- 7:23Speaker 1: weeks ago, he jumps on an onside kick and helps
- 7:27Speaker 1: the Bills win a game. It's awesome to see a
- 7:29Speaker 1: young player work at something in the offseason and it's
- 7:31Speaker 1: showing up now.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I feel like, not I feel like,
- 7:36Speaker 4: but this is our job, right? This is where we
- 7:38Speaker 4: come in, this is where we work hard to to
- 7:40Speaker 4: want to be and where we want to be at.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:42Speaker 4: And when you get to put in moments like that,
- 7:44Speaker 4: where your number gets called, like you got to be
- 7:47Speaker 4: able to step up and you got to be able
- 7:49Speaker 4: to know that this could be your first moment for
- 7:52Speaker 4: a very, very long time.
- 7:54Speaker 3: And you could really excel and go far.
- 7:56Speaker 4: This could be your one and only moment, but you know,
- 7:58Speaker 4: why not go, go out there and prove that this
- 8:01Speaker 4: shouldn't be your only moment. Right. So I think Keon
- 8:04Speaker 4: just proved that again, that, you know, you drafted me
- 8:06Speaker 4: here to be the guy. And, and I, you know,
- 8:09Speaker 4: when I, when it's my opportunity to be the guy,
- 8:10Speaker 4: I'm going to go out there and be the guy
- 8:12Speaker 4: for you.
- 8:12Speaker 1: We're taping this on a Tuesday, uh, coming off of
- 8:15Speaker 1: a game week. You guys have a lot to do
- 8:18Speaker 1: on Monday, on Tuesday, as you flip the page to
- 8:20Speaker 1: the next week. So what does a Monday after a
- 8:24Speaker 1: game look like for you?
- 8:25Speaker 3: For me?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Uh, man, tubs, tubs, tubs, tubs, steam room treatment. But
- 8:34Speaker 4: other than that, I'll just, I'll just rot in bed.
- 8:38Speaker 3: I ride in bed.
- 8:38Speaker 4: This is like where you get to catch up on
- 8:40Speaker 4: all the shows and catch up on just being like,
- 8:43Speaker 4: you know, get the belly couch ready and just chill
- 8:47Speaker 4: all day.
- 8:47Speaker 3: That's what I do.
- 8:48Speaker 1: That's what part of your Monday into your off day
- 8:51Speaker 1: Tuesday looks like. Just relax.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Relax.
- 8:53Speaker 3: Like as soon as we're done, what we got to
- 8:55Speaker 3: get going on, I'm in the bed. I'm chilling.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Are you somebody who in that off day, you feel
- 9:01Speaker 1: like you turn into a little bit of a hermit?
- 9:03Speaker 1: Like I'm just going to hole up in my house
- 9:04Speaker 1: and like i'm not gonna answer the phone no i
- 9:07Speaker 1: would be i do not disturb i.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Already don't answer the phone so that's a normal monday
- 9:12Speaker 4: tuesday thursday whatever day but no like i just you
- 9:16Speaker 4: know you you be so on the go like you're
- 9:20Speaker 4: in the facility you're doing this you're doing that then
- 9:22Speaker 4: by the time you get home you're like i got
- 9:23Speaker 4: all these errands i gotta run so you're just trying
- 9:26Speaker 4: to find a day where you.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Could just.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Just be a couch potato and just chill right and
- 9:32Speaker 4: typically you Those are those days for me.
- 9:33Speaker 1: I feel like you can resonate with the whole world.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Everybody loves being a couch potato.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I wish I got more time to be a couch potato.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I'll take it for what it is.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Okay. What are you watching?
- 9:44Speaker 3: You know, I just started this Star Trek phase.
- 9:47Speaker 1: How did you get into that? What told you, I'm
- 9:50Speaker 1: going to watch some Star Trek tonight? I don't know.
- 9:52Speaker 4: You know, I was just like, yo, that's the guy
- 9:55Speaker 4: from this show I used to watch called Heroes.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Forgot the actor's name. Gregory.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Actor.
- 10:00Speaker 3: But then I was like, you know what? Let me
- 10:01Speaker 3: just watch it.
- 10:02Speaker 4: So I finished the first one. About 7.5, 7.5, you know,
- 10:07Speaker 4: doing what I had to do. And then the second
- 10:09Speaker 4: one was about like an 8.2. So I'm hoping the
- 10:12Speaker 4: third one tonight, get up there in the nines. And then,
- 10:15Speaker 4: you know, maybe I'll try to audition to be on
- 10:16Speaker 4: the next Star Trek.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Okay, I like that. When you're watching a movie, right,
- 10:21Speaker 1: knowing that you will soon be taping yours, are you
- 10:26Speaker 1: watching from a perspective of a way that you watch
- 10:29Speaker 1: football film?
- 10:29Speaker 2: 100%.
- 10:29Speaker 3: I was telling this to my sister not that long ago.
- 10:33Speaker 4: I think why I love movies is because it's like
- 10:37Speaker 4: a weird way of, I like to dissect them. I
- 10:39Speaker 4: like the imagery. I like the storytelling, right? Like how
- 10:43Speaker 4: they do certain things and then you see the background
- 10:46Speaker 4: part of it and how they make, You know, I
- 10:48Speaker 4: love it. And if anybody ever watched like 2B movies,
- 10:53Speaker 4: go watch like a 2B black original movie.
- 10:56Speaker 3: It is, the production is the production, but it's the storyline.
- 11:00Speaker 4: And that's why I love watching some of those 2B
- 11:02Speaker 4: movies because it's like, yo, the storyline is so, it's
- 11:05Speaker 4: good low key though. You know, if it was put
- 11:07Speaker 4: in a bigger production, I think it could win awards.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Okay. It sounds like you're on every streaming service. Oh yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Every stream, 2B, Hulu, Peacock. Paramount, HBO Max, YouTube TV, Netflix.
- 11:21Speaker 1: I wonder how much you're paying for subscriptions every month.
- 11:25Speaker 3: You think I pay for that? I'm still not a
- 11:27Speaker 3: family player.
- 11:28Speaker 4: What?
- 11:29Speaker 3: You think I pay for that? Come on now.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Ray.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I didn't grow up yet.
- 11:32Speaker 1: NFL salary. Who pays for your cell phone bill?
- 11:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Okay. Okay.
- 11:38Speaker 4: The mother services, man. But you see my name though.
- 11:40Speaker 4: When you go up there, it says my name. So,
- 11:41Speaker 4: you know, I'm a part of the family still.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:43Speaker 3: They didn't kick me out yet.
- 11:45Speaker 1: That's so funny. I know.
- 11:47Speaker 3: I got them all.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Pokemon.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Got them.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Got to catch them all. That's what Ray has. Every
- 11:52Speaker 1: streaming service.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:53Speaker 1: We're going to pause and we've got an interview coming
- 11:56Speaker 1: up with wide receiver, Josh Palmer. So enjoy that. We'll
- 11:59Speaker 1: be back after Josh. Welcome to inside the charge. Thanks
- 12:02Speaker 1: for taking the time to hang out, chill, answer a
- 12:05Speaker 1: couple of questions.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Thank you for having me. Yeah.
- 12:07Speaker 1: You're in your sixth NFL season. Second with the bills.
- 12:10Speaker 1: What is one thing you've altered in your game this year?
- 12:15Speaker 2: Uh, my confidence. Um, You know, I always say if
- 12:19Speaker 2: the game was all physical, it would be easier.
- 12:22Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You know? But, yeah, just my confidence, really. Attacking every
- 12:29Speaker 2: single route, attacking every single play.
- 12:32Speaker 1: What did you do to grow your confidence this offseason?
- 12:35Speaker 2: A lot of self-talk. And it's cliche, but it's almost
- 12:41Speaker 2: like you do it over and over and over and
- 12:43Speaker 2: over and over again until it becomes real.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You know, until you actually start to believe it, the
- 12:50Speaker 2: brain will start to believe it. And then you will
- 12:52Speaker 2: see it in your actions, um, in every aspect of life.
- 12:57Speaker 1: What part of the process did you start to reap
- 13:00Speaker 1: the benefits of that self-talk?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Off the field, you could say the decisions that you make, um,
- 13:07Speaker 2: the people that you affect on the field, the plays
- 13:11Speaker 2: that you make, um, how you affect the team, um,
- 13:17Speaker 2: how the film looks, you know, I'm still continuing to
- 13:21Speaker 2: see the benefits. It's not easy because obviously you experience
- 13:25Speaker 2: things that challenge.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And self-doubt creeps in a lot probably.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I mean for anybody.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I don't want to put that on you, but like
- 13:31Speaker 1: self-doubt is something that a lot of people experience. And
- 13:34Speaker 1: to be able to stick with something and see those benefits,
- 13:38Speaker 1: that's pretty awesome. Yeah.
- 13:40Speaker 2: It's almost like a graph. Like you want to track
- 13:43Speaker 2: down how many times you're saying good things and then
- 13:46Speaker 2: when the doubt kicks in. Usually you're doing more good
- 13:50Speaker 2: than bad when you're being intentional. When you're not being intentional,
- 13:53Speaker 2: you'll probably say more bad than good.
- 13:55Speaker 1: You've been playing confident to start the season. You had
- 13:58Speaker 1: a 34-yard game-winning touchdown in Week 1 against Houston. You
- 14:03Speaker 1: had two defenders on you. What did you do to
- 14:06Speaker 1: make sure you were in the right position to come
- 14:07Speaker 1: down with the touchdown?
- 14:09Speaker 2: I told myself I was going to get the touchdown
- 14:13Speaker 2: before the play even happened. I was pretty confident that
- 14:16Speaker 2: I was I was going to be the one to
- 14:17Speaker 2: make the play and seal the game. Um, you know,
- 14:21Speaker 2: obviously with the coverage, it wasn't the most ideal throw,
- 14:23Speaker 2: but you know, I ran a great route and got
- 14:28Speaker 2: open and the ball found me. Josh was able to
- 14:29Speaker 2: see it.
- 14:31Speaker 1: How awesome is that to be in a place where
- 14:34Speaker 1: you self-talk and it comes through to win a game?
- 14:37Speaker 2: And a lot of people would say like, Oh, you
- 14:41Speaker 2: should be happy and surprised. Like you should be happy
- 14:43Speaker 2: or be more excited or you just want a game and,
- 14:46Speaker 2: You had to stay in it the whole game because
- 14:48Speaker 2: you didn't have a catch-all game. I don't really get surprised.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I don't really get excited. Because when I come to work,
- 14:58Speaker 2: I'm working. And when I do something that I've been
- 15:03Speaker 2: training for, that I know I can do, when you
- 15:06Speaker 2: do it, you're not really surprised that you did it. So, yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I've never really been one to have fun when I'm playing.
- 15:15Speaker 2: And I don't think it's a bad thing nor a
- 15:17Speaker 2: good thing. I just think it is what it is.
- 15:19Speaker 2: I usually, the fun to me will come after, you know,
- 15:22Speaker 2: that's when it's fun. But during the moment, it's just,
- 15:26Speaker 2: it just is.
- 15:28Speaker 1: You say you don't get surprised. I would describe Josh
- 15:30Speaker 1: Palmer as right in the middle, not never too high,
- 15:34Speaker 1: never too low, right in the middle. Has that always
- 15:36Speaker 1: been the case for you?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't like to get too high. I definitely
- 15:42Speaker 2: don't like to get too low. That's why I don't
- 15:43Speaker 2: like to, joke around and laugh and play around when
- 15:52Speaker 2: it's game time or practice time because I can't afford
- 15:56Speaker 2: to let my mind drift, you know, because every play,
- 15:58Speaker 2: every route is important. Yeah. And the moment you let
- 16:01Speaker 2: your mind drift, now you forget this or you don't
- 16:05Speaker 2: pay attention to that or you drop this and at
- 16:07Speaker 2: that point it's already too late. So I try to
- 16:10Speaker 2: do a really, really good job just trying to stay
- 16:14Speaker 2: in the moment some people might look at it as
- 16:16Speaker 2: you know being distant or um not having fun or
- 16:22Speaker 2: you know some people might even look at it as
- 16:23Speaker 2: sulking just depending on the situation but uh not ever
- 16:29Speaker 2: since i've like ever since i've played sports i've always
- 16:31Speaker 2: been like reserved and quiet because i'm trying to stay
- 16:34Speaker 2: locked in anybody that i played uh with when i
- 16:38Speaker 2: was younger all of my closest friends like that's how
- 16:40Speaker 2: we were kind of raised when we were playing sports
- 16:43Speaker 2: so i'm not doing like Like my close friends group
- 16:45Speaker 2: that play professional football, we're all like that. And we
- 16:48Speaker 2: all get the same thing from everybody. How we're reserved,
- 16:51Speaker 2: how we're quiet, how we're distant. But we're not really distant.
- 16:54Speaker 2: We're just trying to stay locked in.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You're a super smooth receiver. Stride, route running, shiftiness. What
- 17:01Speaker 1: does it require to be smooth?
- 17:04Speaker 2: Genetics, I think.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He was born with it. Genetics.
- 17:10Speaker 2: You know, God gave me it. abilities that I had
- 17:15Speaker 2: to craft over time. Um, good mentors, good, um, good vets,
- 17:25Speaker 2: good trainers, trusted trainers. Um, so it's a lot of
- 17:29Speaker 2: things that it's a lot of things that go into
- 17:32Speaker 2: one big pot and then, you know, the product is
- 17:36Speaker 2: still not finished. It's still being made, but you know,
- 17:40Speaker 2: if you want to stay on the, food terms, you know,
- 17:43Speaker 2: people are getting a little bit of taste of it,
- 17:44Speaker 2: but you know, I'm still, I'm still crafting.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Last year, you battled through injuries. If every season is
- 17:50Speaker 1: a chapter, what would you name last season?
- 17:53Speaker 2: That's a good question. Um, I would probably name it
- 18:05Speaker 2: patience or, um, hurt but it's not a lot of
- 18:17Speaker 2: like it would cover a lot more aspects than just
- 18:20Speaker 2: being physically hurt it's like in.
- 18:22Speaker 1: All aspects of life yeah patience why uh.
- 18:29Speaker 2: No actually no i wouldn't name it patience i wouldn't
- 18:31Speaker 2: scratch that i would name.
- 18:32Speaker 1: It hurt okay i like that one better i don't
- 18:34Speaker 1: even hurt why hurt upon that yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Uh besides being physically hurt mentally you're hurting emotionally you're
- 18:43Speaker 2: hurting spiritually you're hurting um so there's a lot of
- 18:47Speaker 2: things that um you can use that word for you
- 18:52Speaker 2: know it's a battle to to fight those thoughts that
- 18:58Speaker 2: creep in or to fight the emotions that creep in
- 19:01Speaker 2: because there's so many things that you want to do
- 19:03Speaker 2: but can't there's so many things that you expect to
- 19:06Speaker 2: happen that didn't um there's so many things that you
- 19:09Speaker 2: wish that happened that didn't um And all you could
- 19:13Speaker 2: do is just try to figure out how to battle.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Through the pain.
- 19:18Speaker 1: The sun is out now. You're healthy. Scored a game-winning touchdown.
- 19:23Speaker 1: Josh has looked to you early this season. What's the
- 19:26Speaker 1: name of this year's chapter already?
- 19:31Speaker 3: Patience.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Patience.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I like that. I can't wait to see what it
- 19:35Speaker 1: unfolds to be, Josh. You took a trip to Jamaica
- 19:38Speaker 1: this offseason as part of the Palmer Family Fund. You
- 19:42Speaker 1: did a lot of philanthropic work there, also hosted a
- 19:45Speaker 1: football camp. Why did you choose Jamaica?
- 19:48Speaker 2: That's where I'm from. or my family background my parents
- 19:52Speaker 2: were born in jamaica um there was a tackle football
- 19:55Speaker 2: program that was going on for a while before i
- 19:58Speaker 2: intervened with the camp the camp was kind of like
- 20:01Speaker 2: a partnership um the program name i don't remember what
- 20:06Speaker 2: it's called right now i've been having to remember so
- 20:08Speaker 2: many places um.
- 20:10Speaker 1: You do a lot yeah so i can't.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I can't remember the the jamaica the the program but
- 20:17Speaker 2: we went there we had a camp but you know
- 20:19Speaker 2: the main purpose of the trip was we went down
- 20:22Speaker 2: and we're seeing the effects of the hurricane that hit
- 20:27Speaker 2: and where we could step in to help um the
- 20:30Speaker 2: kids that we could possibly help or and mentor um
- 20:36Speaker 2: yeah it was a lot and You know, hopefully in
- 20:38Speaker 2: the next, within the next couple of months, we'll have our,
- 20:41Speaker 2: we'll be an official nonprofit. So that will be amazing.
- 20:45Speaker 2: And we'll be doing, we'll be doing a lot across
- 20:49Speaker 2: the world and hopefully in the Buffalo community, even if
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'm not here. Way, way down in the future, like
- 20:55Speaker 2: you just, anywhere that needs help, you know, it's not really,
- 21:01Speaker 2: it's not really subjective to one place, you know.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I love that the Palmer last name is worldwide. You're
- 21:06Speaker 1: helping all over the place, not just where your feet are,
- 21:09Speaker 1: but in places like Jamaica and Canada and all over
- 21:13Speaker 1: the place. That's awesome. You are getting into the music game.
- 21:18Speaker 1: You have a song that's being released soon. Can't wait.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 1: What attracted you to the music industry, Josh?
- 21:26Speaker 2: So my business partner and I, uh, Raj, we, uh,
- 21:33Speaker 2: we linked up a couple, a couple of years ago now.
- 21:36Speaker 2: And over time we've developed a really, really good relationships relationship.
- 21:41Speaker 2: And we've realized that there is a gap in, in music.
- 21:47Speaker 2: We feel like a lot of it has become cheap. Um,
- 21:52Speaker 2: it's not intentional. There's not a lot of thought behind
- 21:55Speaker 2: it versus music that was released seventies, eighties, nineties. Um,
- 22:03Speaker 2: So we want to kind of be a bridge for
- 22:06Speaker 2: different demographics, for people my age, people his age, who
- 22:12Speaker 2: can all kind of relate to a sound, you know,
- 22:16Speaker 2: bring people together, bring different cultures and communities together through clean, intentional,
- 22:26Speaker 2: well-constructed storytelling type of music. the genre is more, is
- 22:35Speaker 2: more dance, but, um, you know, as a sub, as
- 22:39Speaker 2: a sub genre to that, it's more, it's more, uh,
- 22:44Speaker 2: what would you say? It's not so mainstream. It's a
- 22:47Speaker 2: lot more dark and groovy.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And, um, I don't know.
- 22:53Speaker 2: I think it's, it's easier to explain when one is
- 22:55Speaker 2: hearing it, but, um, yeah, soon that will come out,
- 22:59Speaker 2: you know, we, uh, had a little bit of delay,
- 23:01Speaker 2: but for good reason. So, When that comes out, everybody
- 23:04Speaker 2: will be on notice for sure.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I've heard a snippet. It's vibey. It's dancey. It makes
- 23:10Speaker 1: you want to move. So Bills fans, I think, will
- 23:13Speaker 1: enjoy it because there's been a lot to celebrate so
- 23:15Speaker 1: far this season. So can't wait till that hits all
- 23:19Speaker 1: the places that you can listen to and stream music from.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 23:22Speaker 2: It's called Dream Tape.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Dream Tape.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Dream Tape, yeah.
- 23:25Speaker 1: Make sure you stay tuned for that. Josh, you've got
- 23:27Speaker 1: some incredible fashion. How would you describe your sense of style?
- 23:34Speaker 2: Just me?
- 23:34Speaker 1: Just you? Yeah. You mentioned the music being like 70s, 80s, 90s.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Your style reminds me like 80s, 90s street fashion.
- 23:45Speaker 2: I just, I don't know. I think I see something
- 23:51Speaker 2: and over time it cooks up in my mind and
- 23:55Speaker 2: then maybe a month from then I'll wear something that
- 24:01Speaker 2: I saw. Like a month ago. You know, piecing things together,
- 24:08Speaker 2: colors together. You know, I try not to get too
- 24:10Speaker 2: crazy with what I wear. I try to keep it
- 24:12Speaker 2: very simple. Something that I can wear in every room.
- 24:17Speaker 2: You know, but no, I don't really like, I put
- 24:21Speaker 2: thought behind it, but not as much thought as people
- 24:22Speaker 2: might think.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 24:23Speaker 2: You know, I just kind of just.
- 24:24Speaker 1: When you're naturally talented in that way.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I kind of just buy something that's like, you know,
- 24:29Speaker 2: you start to learn, okay, this part is a statement piece.
- 24:33Speaker 2: the rest will be chill. Or this type of shirt
- 24:37Speaker 2: goes well with this type of pant. Or these shoes
- 24:41Speaker 2: look well with this type of pant and this hat
- 24:43Speaker 2: will go well with this and you don't want to
- 24:45Speaker 2: wear sunglasses with a hat because then you have too
- 24:47Speaker 2: much going on your face. And it's just, like it's
- 24:49Speaker 2: a lot of learning yourself.
- 24:50Speaker 1: There's an art to it.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And your, your aesthetic and your, even your body type
- 24:55Speaker 2: really is very important too for someone to understand what
- 24:58Speaker 2: they can and cannot wear. You know, there's some things
- 25:02Speaker 2: that short guys wear that I wouldn't be able to
- 25:04Speaker 2: wear because it would look weird on me, but it
- 25:06Speaker 2: looks good on them. Or some things that tall guys
- 25:10Speaker 2: wear that short guys can't wear because it would look
- 25:11Speaker 2: weird on them. You know, if someone's torso is longer
- 25:13Speaker 2: than someone else or if their legs are longer or
- 25:16Speaker 2: if their arms are longer. Like all that stuff kind
- 25:18Speaker 2: of matters. But once you find it, then you can just.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Build around it.
- 25:20Speaker 1: You found it, Josh. Yeah. From rocking the game day
- 25:23Speaker 1: fits to your fun start to the season to making
- 25:25Speaker 1: music and helping out the community. You're doing a lot here.
- 25:28Speaker 1: We appreciate it. Thanks for coming on.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Thank you for having me.
- 25:31Speaker 1: All right. Maddie and Ray back with some more. Ray,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I think it would be fun to go around the
- 25:37Speaker 1: running backs room because you've got some characters in that room,
- 25:41Speaker 1: including yourself. So I'm going to hit you with some questions.
- 25:44Speaker 1: You're going to tell me who best fits that personality type.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Okay.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Funniest.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Frank Gore Jr.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Frank Gore Jr.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Frank Gore Jr. Funniest. Top two and he ain't two.
- 25:58Speaker 1: What does he do that's so funny?
- 26:02Speaker 3: Just Frank Gore Jr.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Just exist.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Just exist.
- 26:05Speaker 1: In this world.
- 26:05Speaker 3: In this world. You could have a bad day. You
- 26:07Speaker 3: walk in and you're like, Frank's going to make you laugh.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Just look at him.
- 26:11Speaker 1: He's just got like a smirk on his face half
- 26:14Speaker 1: the time that you can't help but smile at him.
- 26:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Say, hey, ask him what's up. Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 3: That's Frank.
- 26:21Speaker 4: But yeah, he'd be the funniest for sure.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I love that. Frank Gore Jr.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Most serious.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Jimbo.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Jimbo.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I think we all know that though. I don't think
- 26:31Speaker 3: that's a surprise to anybody.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I don't think it's a surprise to anybody on the outside,
- 26:35Speaker 1: but knowing that you exist on the inside, you know,
- 26:40Speaker 1: people can show different things on the outside and then
- 26:43Speaker 1: get with their true friends and, and act different because
- 26:46Speaker 1: they feel comfortable.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:47Speaker 4: You got to keep those encounters in indoors. Yeah.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Okay. But Jimbo's most serious.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Um, who's most likely to coach after football? Hmm.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Well, I want to coach, but I don't want to
- 27:00Speaker 3: coach football. So I'd say me.
- 27:02Speaker 1: What are you going to coach?
- 27:03Speaker 4: So fun fact, I actually coached basketball here at St.
- 27:07Speaker 4: Franny's in the winter.
- 27:09Speaker 1: No way.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:09Speaker 4: Like we got off, we played the Patriots. We got
- 27:12Speaker 4: off that plane and I went straight to coach at St.
- 27:15Speaker 3: Franny's. So I coached basketball for St. Franny's that passed
- 27:18Speaker 3: last year.
- 27:19Speaker 4: And then I helped coach next gen out of 14 U's,
- 27:23Speaker 4: 14 UAU girls team.
- 27:25Speaker 1: No way.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 3: So I'd love to coach basketball, but.
- 27:28Speaker 4: If I had to choose football, it'd be Jimbo. Jimbo
- 27:31Speaker 4: has his own team in Florida.
- 27:32Speaker 1: That's true, he does.
- 27:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Jimbo has his own team.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Can you imagine Jimbo as a football coach?
- 27:38Speaker 3: Heck yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:39Speaker 3: Heck yeah.
- 27:40Speaker 1: What do you feel like, what type of energy does
- 27:41Speaker 1: he bring?
- 27:42Speaker 3: I mean, Jimbo's just a competitive person, so, you know,
- 27:44Speaker 3: it's just.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Like, we're going undefeated?
- 27:45Speaker 3: Yeah, he's going undefeated, yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Okay, back to you, though, and St. Franny's. Yeah, yeah, St. Franny's.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Was this publicized?
- 27:52Speaker 4: I mean, anybody that went to the game and saw
- 27:54Speaker 4: me on the bench, yeah, I was coaching gear, my neighbor.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Shout out Brian Ferris. He coached at St. Franny's.
- 28:02Speaker 4: He was a varsity head coach. And I coached with
- 28:04Speaker 4: him during that AAU time with his daughter, with their team.
- 28:07Speaker 4: And I remember him asking me, like, hey, do you
- 28:09Speaker 4: want to come and coach and be an assistant coach?
- 28:12Speaker 4: And I was like, yeah. Like, I've done it before.
- 28:14Speaker 4: And when I was at Kentucky, I had my fifth
- 28:16Speaker 4: grade boys team. I coached high school basketball when I
- 28:19Speaker 4: was in high school and I didn't play. So it's
- 28:22Speaker 4: always been a passion. So we made it happen. I
- 28:24Speaker 4: was with the boys all up until playoffs. Obviously, we
- 28:27Speaker 4: have playoffs, so I can step away. But off days
- 28:30Speaker 4: last year, I was at practice. Like, right after we
- 28:32Speaker 4: got done with the practice here, I went to their practice.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Are you going to do that this year?
- 28:35Speaker 4: You know, it's to be determined. We've got to get
- 28:37Speaker 4: in contract talks. Contract talks. You know, if you want
- 28:40Speaker 4: me to be an assistant coach again, contract talks.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I like it.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Right.
- 28:45Speaker 1: So you've been coaching since, like, high school then.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I've had a passion of coaching basketball, like, probably. I
- 28:52Speaker 4: want to say, like, it started around high school, yeah.
- 28:54Speaker 4: And I've put myself in positions to do it. I've
- 28:56Speaker 4: done it, and it's something I want to.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Do when the game's over.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Why do you love it so much?
- 29:01Speaker 4: I always tell people, like, you want to hear the
- 29:04Speaker 4: dramatic answer, but I don't think it's a dramatic answer.
- 29:07Speaker 4: I just think, you know, with a smaller roster like
- 29:10Speaker 4: basketball has, you could really impact a person's life, right?
- 29:12Speaker 4: You know, for football, it's a lot of us and
- 29:14Speaker 4: a lot of coaches. But, you know, when you're a
- 29:16Speaker 4: head coach and you have a team where you can
- 29:18Speaker 4: connect with those guys in a much smaller area, Um,
- 29:22Speaker 4: you really, you really could show impact, not just as
- 29:24Speaker 4: a coach, but, you know, as a person. Um, so
- 29:27Speaker 4: being everywhere I've been and been able to coach, like
- 29:29Speaker 4: I've been able to have very impactful relationships with just
- 29:31Speaker 4: the players, the coaches, the families. And it's kind of like,
- 29:35Speaker 4: you know, imagine winning a championship with somebody you've grown
- 29:37Speaker 4: like very, very close with, you know, due to the fact.
- 29:40Speaker 4: that again it's just a smaller smaller roster but I've
- 29:43Speaker 4: won championships I've lost games like I've experienced that and
- 29:46Speaker 4: nothing has felt better than walking off the court and
- 29:48Speaker 4: just seeing like your guys being like man like we're
- 29:51Speaker 4: gonna get it done again for you so it's been cool.
- 29:53Speaker 1: How is winning and losing as a coach different than
- 29:57Speaker 1: winning and losing as a player.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I think, you know, as a player, you always
- 30:03Speaker 4: have that mindset like, you know, next rep, next play,
- 30:06Speaker 4: next down. And you can't let that dictate how you
- 30:11Speaker 4: perform on the field, right? And I think, you know,
- 30:14Speaker 4: when you're a coach, it's like, okay, you're going to
- 30:17Speaker 4: make the wrong call at times. You may call this
- 30:19Speaker 4: timeout at a wrong time or, you know, you may
- 30:22Speaker 4: want to let your player have a little bit more
- 30:24Speaker 4: freedom with calling plays. There's just so many things as
- 30:26Speaker 4: a coach you have to live with, which is like
- 30:28Speaker 4: you live and die with it.
- 30:30Speaker 3: It is what it is.
- 30:31Speaker 4: But as a player, you have to let it go
- 30:34Speaker 4: when you step back on that field. You can't even
- 30:36Speaker 4: have that thought of like, dang, maybe I was. So
- 30:39Speaker 4: I think that's just the kind of difference in terms
- 30:41Speaker 4: of decision making for sure.
- 30:43Speaker 1: We playing zone defense, man defense, press man.
- 30:45Speaker 3: What do you do? I'm all over.
- 30:47Speaker 4: I'm all about intensity, aggressiveness, chasing the ball down, getting
- 30:52Speaker 4: excited for your guys. Again, if they make a stop,
- 30:55Speaker 4: dive for a ball. I think that energy just feeds well. Um,
- 30:58Speaker 4: from a bench to a player perspective, like from a
- 31:00Speaker 4: bench to the court perspective. Um, but you know, I,
- 31:05Speaker 4: I liked having like, again, competitive dudes where we could
- 31:07Speaker 4: play anything.
- 31:08Speaker 3: One, you know, one, two, two, we can play a two, three, three, two.
- 31:11Speaker 3: We can play it all right.
- 31:12Speaker 4: But you know, you never want to just live and
- 31:14Speaker 4: die with just one coverage. Sorry, I'm like, I got
- 31:18Speaker 4: Randy because I enjoy coaching.
- 31:19Speaker 1: No, I like this. This is, wow, we've just unlocked
- 31:22Speaker 1: a whole different part of this podcast.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Ray the coach.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Well, now I want you to coach this year so
- 31:27Speaker 1: we can talk about it.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 1: So sign the contract.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Come on, St.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Randy's.
- 31:31Speaker 3: You can meet me. You know what I'm saying? Brian,
- 31:33Speaker 3: he went over to Mercy. Holler at me. You know,
- 31:34Speaker 3: I'm here.
- 31:35Speaker 1: All right. Okay, very cool. Keeping on with the running backs,
- 31:40Speaker 1: who's the best dressed?
- 31:44Speaker 4: You got to, I would like to say me, but.
- 31:46Speaker 4: The money in the room speaks for itself, so you
- 31:48Speaker 4: got to give it to Jimbo.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Jimbo!
- 31:50Speaker 4: The money speaks for itself right there, man. Man comes trim,
- 31:54Speaker 4: Prada down almost every time. But the cowboy fits go
- 31:57Speaker 4: to Ty all day, though. Ty has that, like, real,
- 32:00Speaker 4: real good look to him.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You guys have some, like, different looks in that room,
- 32:04Speaker 1: which is good.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 1: It's nice. Who talks the most?
- 32:11Speaker 2: Ty.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Ty?
- 32:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Always got something to say.
- 32:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:14Speaker 3: But it's like... But you, like.
- 32:16Speaker 4: If Ty doesn't speak, then you should be concerned.
- 32:19Speaker 3: That's one of those. You always want to hear what
- 32:22Speaker 3: Ty got to say. It's never a bad thing. It's
- 32:24Speaker 3: always wisdom. It's realness. You know what I'm saying?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Manifest Mondays.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If you don't hear him speak,
- 32:31Speaker 3: it's a little concerning.
- 32:32Speaker 4: If you hear Ty speak, that means your day's.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Probably going amazing.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Who's always in the best mood?
- 32:39Speaker 3: Frank. Frank's always in the best mood. Frank never has
- 32:42Speaker 3: a bad day. Or he doesn't show it. But Frank
- 32:45Speaker 3: never has a bad day, nah.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Frank's always smiling.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Yeah, he is.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Thanks for taking us around the running back room.
- 32:51Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah. The guys.
- 32:52Speaker 1: You know, we like hearing about the guys because you're
- 32:55Speaker 1: a part of the group. You give us some wisdom.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I do.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Love to learn about them more. BTO, we know that's
- 33:03Speaker 1: your foundation.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Beat the odds.
- 33:05Speaker 1: What is coming up?
- 33:07Speaker 4: So I'm proud to announce the third annual Ray and
- 33:10Speaker 4: the Gang Under the Lights, October 19th. We work with
- 33:15Speaker 4: the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the specific
- 33:19Speaker 4: District Ones here in Buffalo and Niagara. And we invite
- 33:22Speaker 4: 14 bigs and littles and just kind of give them
- 33:25Speaker 4: a day in the life of what I go through
- 33:26Speaker 4: as a player and the facility and the things that
- 33:28Speaker 4: I get to do. I'm excited to hopefully add some
- 33:31Speaker 4: new partners working with Paula's Donuts and giving them a
- 33:35Speaker 4: different type of experience, something I got to experience. I
- 33:37Speaker 4: got to create a donut for my foundation at Paula's
- 33:40Speaker 4: Donuts called the Beat the Odds Donut.
- 33:43Speaker 3: And so I would love.
- 33:44Speaker 4: For the kids to kind of have that experience, too,
- 33:46Speaker 4: because it was pretty fun creating it for myself. We're
- 33:48Speaker 4: living those kind of just kid days sitting in Paula's
- 33:50Speaker 4: Donuts talking to them. So that's going to be exciting.
- 33:53Speaker 4: So that's coming up for BTO. We're glad to be
- 33:55Speaker 4: able to put that together. And then once Christmas comes,
- 33:58Speaker 4: it's a long way. But, you know, doing our second
- 34:01Speaker 4: adopt the family for Christmas and giving them an experience that,
- 34:05Speaker 4: you know, they probably don't get to have.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Love it, right? You do so much for the community
- 34:09Speaker 1: off the field. We're going to finish off with a
- 34:11Speaker 1: top three.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 34:12Speaker 1: I'm throwing three things at you. You are telling me
- 34:14Speaker 1: what is your favorite.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Got it.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Favorite car.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Favorite car. You know, I got to go to the
- 34:26Speaker 3: Benz GLE. Everybody got it here, but it just looks
- 34:30Speaker 3: smooth on the inside.
- 34:31Speaker 1: It does look nice.
- 34:32Speaker 3: It looks like a spaceship on the inside.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Are you more of like a modern car guy than
- 34:37Speaker 1: an old school car guy?
- 34:38Speaker 4: You know what? Let me take that back. Let me, man,
- 34:40Speaker 4: let me give my car a shout out. I'm a
- 34:43Speaker 4: Genesis guy. Let me take that back. I'm a Genesis guy.
- 34:45Speaker 4: Have y'all seen the new 2020, I think it's 2027 Genesis?
- 34:48Speaker 4: I don't know if I've seen the 2027. That thing
- 34:50Speaker 4: opens up reverse. Yeah, and then you could turn the
- 34:53Speaker 4: seats around and like talk like this. Man, Genesis, y'all
- 34:57Speaker 4: did y'all thing, man.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Pop out Genesis.
- 34:58Speaker 1: You gonna get one?
- 35:00Speaker 3: When the price goes heavily down.
- 35:02Speaker 1: That.
- 35:02Speaker 4: That's a little past my tax bracket.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Stop.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Race on a budget.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, man. I'm the... No, I can't say that.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 35:13Speaker 3: What was the next question?
- 35:15Speaker 1: Okay, next question. Favorite clothing brand?
- 35:20Speaker 3: I've been on a... I don't know if it's a brand. Like,
- 35:23Speaker 3: it's a store.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Zara.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Like, I love Zara. I love, love, love, love Zara. Yeah, brand, store.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Same thing, right? Yeah, so Zara. Zara's very, very big. Kith.
- 35:32Speaker 3: It's heavy, heavy in my clothing closet.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Have you ever been to the New York City Kith?
- 35:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Oh, amazing. Cool store.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Top five for sure.
- 35:41Speaker 4: But those are only my top two. Those are like
- 35:43Speaker 4: really mostly what I'm wearing. Or, you know, I'm a
- 35:45Speaker 4: Nike guy, so I always got to wear the Nike
- 35:47Speaker 4: guy apparel.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Okay. I've got two more. You can tell me which
- 35:51Speaker 1: one you'd rather answer. Favorite musical artist right now or
- 35:56Speaker 1: your favorite season because we're in the fall.
- 35:57Speaker 3: I'm going to answer both.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Favorite artist, Rilo Rodriguez. If you never heard Rallo Rodriguez,
- 36:04Speaker 3: go listen.
- 36:05Speaker 1: All right.
- 36:05Speaker 4: He spits some wisdom, some bars. Album Bin One is
- 36:09Speaker 4: top up there. Skate, Goat in Human Form, up there.
- 36:15Speaker 4: And favorite, I love horror films. I got Chucky, Freddie
- 36:18Speaker 4: tattooed on me. So I love that we're getting into
- 36:20Speaker 4: the spooky season right now.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Spooky season.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Spooky season.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Are you somebody that dresses up for Halloween?
- 36:26Speaker 4: You know, I'm in a new neighborhood, so I think
- 36:29Speaker 4: I got to. I think I got to. I did
- 36:31Speaker 4: it the first time in my old neighborhood, so. I
- 36:33Speaker 4: think I got you. But if any of my neighbors
- 36:35Speaker 4: are listening, don't expect me to have the big candy now.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Ray, stop.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Balling on the budget. Don't expect me to have no
- 36:42Speaker 3: big candy. I might. I might. I might.
- 36:48Speaker 1: TV subscriptions. No king-size candy bars.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Come on. Y'all got to go back to my days.
- 36:55Speaker 3: You know, how I felt when I was a kid.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Back in my day.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 37:01Speaker 1: I can't wait to see what you're going to dress
- 37:03Speaker 1: up as. And I can't wait to hear about the
- 37:05Speaker 1: king size candy bars that you give out at your
- 37:09Speaker 1: house on Halloween. So make sure you go to Ray
- 37:11Speaker 1: Davis's house. Maybe I'll buy some. Yeah.
- 37:15Speaker 3: Y'all want to donate for the kids. It's for the kids.
- 37:17Speaker 1: If anybody wants to donate some king size candy bars.
- 37:20Speaker 3: For the kids, man.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Drop them off at One Bill's Drive.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll pick them up.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Okay, great.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Thank you. Appreciate the time. We'll be back with more
- 37:28Speaker 1: Inside the Charge.
