- 0:05Speaker 1: And Halloween is only two days away. That makes tomorrow
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hollow's Eve, right, Oh yeah it does. And I want
- 0:14Speaker 1: to know Angie your question today. You know, I'm just
- 0:16Speaker 1: a curious guy. I have a lot of questions.
- 0:19Speaker 2: I love this about you. Actually, you know, I want
- 0:21Speaker 2: to know. I'm nosy and I'm curious, all right. I
- 0:23Speaker 2: just a toddler, that's right.
- 0:26Speaker 1: My inner six year old comes out a lot here
- 0:28Speaker 1: on this very morning show with it's like, Mom.
- 0:31Speaker 2: What happens mom? What about mom?
- 0:34Speaker 3: What? You know?
- 0:34Speaker 2: I'm the mom in this scenario. I like it. I
- 0:37Speaker 2: like it.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Well, I doue to lack of options. What is your
- 0:42Speaker 1: favorite Halloween costume of all time? One of your favorites
- 0:46Speaker 1: you've ever had? The reason I asked that is Angie
- 0:49Speaker 1: has really committed to this bit this week.
- 0:52Speaker 2: If you missed it.
- 0:54Speaker 1: She is dressed up on Monday, which you can see
- 0:56Speaker 1: on our Facebook page. She dressed up yesterday and today,
- 1:00Speaker 1: which you did warn me this one might be a
- 1:02Speaker 1: little tamed back a little bit.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Yes, it's because you know everything.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I had a lot of makeup on my face yesterday
- 1:09Speaker 3: and the day before for my costumes, that's right, And
- 1:12Speaker 3: so I need a little bit of a breather, so.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Your skin needs some relaxation.
- 1:17Speaker 3: So today my costume is I was warning everyone it's
- 1:21Speaker 3: a little lazier today. But I am the Technical Challenge
- 1:26Speaker 3: on the Great British Biking Show and the Technical Challenge
- 1:31Speaker 3: and will start the hits waking up of technical challenges.
- 1:36Speaker 3: But the technical challenge is always covered for the contestants
- 1:41Speaker 3: with a Gingham tablecloth and then like they tell them
- 1:45Speaker 3: what the challenge is gonna be and then they reveal
- 1:47Speaker 3: So I have a Gingham tablecloth and I literally got
- 1:52Speaker 3: in the one of the conference rooms, I climbed onto
- 1:54Speaker 3: the table. Gabe helped me cover myself with this Gingham tablecloth,
- 2:00Speaker 3: took a picture of it. I'm gonna post it on
- 2:02Speaker 3: the big ninety eight points I've on Facebook page. So
- 2:04Speaker 3: today on the Great British Bike and Show Technical Challenge,
- 2:09Speaker 3: it's kind of Nietzche, but that's what I am today.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Out of all the costumes you've had, what's been your
- 2:15Speaker 1: favorite one? And you go, there's so many for you
- 2:18Speaker 1: to choose from because you put in so much effort
- 2:20Speaker 1: to always having something new or different.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Or the page is that a sports reference that? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 2:27Speaker 2: it is I do the most.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I think my favorite, and it's just because I should
- 2:32Speaker 3: post this to the big ninetyea points I have on
- 2:34Speaker 3: Facebook page too. I weirdly look like eminem like Marshall Mathers.
- 2:41Speaker 3: I look like him when I dress in drag to
- 2:45Speaker 3: try to look like him. And a few years ago
- 2:47Speaker 3: when he opened the restaurant in Detroit, Moms Spaghetti, Yeah,
- 2:52Speaker 3: I dressed up like him and then made a life
- 2:54Speaker 3: size menu board for the restaurant to.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Carry with me. Okay, and that's what I was.
- 3:00Speaker 3: And I think that's my favorite, my favorite so far,
- 3:03Speaker 3: because anytime anyone sees it, they're like, there's no way,
- 3:06Speaker 3: why do you look like him?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yeah? No, that's I think that's my favorite.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I've seen pictures of that and it's incredible. Seven oh
- 3:13Speaker 1: one two eight zero one nine eight seven. Do you
- 3:16Speaker 1: have a Halloween costume that is one of your all
- 3:18Speaker 1: time favorites?
- 3:19Speaker 2: You really went above and beyond? What about you, Tiffany?
- 3:22Speaker 3: My best Hellovan costume was the time I dressed up
- 3:24Speaker 3: as a Roman goddess.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I wore a white dress and a gold leaf crown.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I also had an arm man that looked like a
- 3:30Speaker 2: gold snake. The whole outfit was just super cute. I mean,
- 3:34Speaker 2: I gotta be honest, it just sounds hot. Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I always say there's two girls on Halloween, the ones
- 3:40Speaker 3: that do something super hot and then the weird ones.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I'm in the weird one category, sure, but we need both,
- 3:46Speaker 3: So I'm glad Tiffany was that.
- 3:48Speaker 2: That's right.
- 3:48Speaker 1: There was one year and this was kind of at
- 3:50Speaker 1: the height of the popularity of the Dark Knight Rises.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I went kind of full bore as being Heath Ledger's joker.
- 3:58Speaker 3: Oh that's a great one. Yeah, great one. When you
- 4:01Speaker 3: commit to that one.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It's really good. Yeah. I had my friend in high school.
- 4:06Speaker 1: She helped me with the face paint and the mask,
- 4:09Speaker 1: or not the mask, but the face paint. And I
- 4:11Speaker 1: kind of had longer hair at the time, so anyone
- 4:14Speaker 1: kind of throw it and slick it back or whatever.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I got a vest and the green vest, the purple shirt.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I really kind of went, are there pictures of this?
- 4:21Speaker 3: I feel like we should post these to the Facebook pagte.
- 4:24Speaker 1: There might be some somewhere. I'd have to track it down.
- 4:26Speaker 1: We do have Chris. Chris, what about you best all
- 4:29Speaker 1: time Halloween costume or maybe just your favorite.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I was dressed up as Edwards scissor Hands. I made
- 4:34Speaker 2: the hands on a cardboard and I spray painted them,
- 4:37Speaker 2: and then I covered a black pair of coveralls with
- 4:39Speaker 2: electrical tape and put on a crazy wig.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It looked really good.
- 4:43Speaker 2: That sounds like a lot of work. This is what
- 4:45Speaker 2: I like, though.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I like when it's homemade and you did it all yourself,
- 4:49Speaker 3: because a lot of times when you just get one
- 4:51Speaker 3: of those store bought ones. Sure, I think also because
- 4:54Speaker 3: of the copyright, it wouldn't even be Edward scissor Hands.
- 4:57Speaker 3: It would be like Eddie Choppy. As my little victory
- 5:09Speaker 3: is very little, but it brought me a lot of joy.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yesterday I made spaghetti and meat sauce, and yes it
- 5:18Speaker 3: was faux meat because you know I'm vegan.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But so one could say, would it be spaghetti and
- 5:25Speaker 1: feet sauce.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Fae meat? I say what YO said the game, it
- 5:31Speaker 2: shouldn't be.
- 5:34Speaker 3: But I made that last night and then we turned
- 5:36Speaker 3: that into spaghetti sandwiches for dinner, and the kids really
- 5:42Speaker 3: got a kick out of eating the spaghetti between two
- 5:45Speaker 3: slices of bread.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I was going to ask, so what is a spaghetti sandwich?
- 5:49Speaker 1: You literally just make spaghetti and throw it between bread.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 3: For me, I toast the bread and butter it and
- 5:54Speaker 3: put a little garlic.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Sauce on it. Garlic toast kind of yeah.
- 5:58Speaker 3: And then as a sandwich, it's just took plain white bread,
- 6:02Speaker 3: didn't toast it, didn't put anything on it, but just
- 6:04Speaker 3: slapped the spaghetti in between the two pieces of bread.
- 6:06Speaker 2: That's wild. Yeah, but they loved it. They're like, who
- 6:09Speaker 2: spaghetti sandwiches? Next? We gotta do spaghetti tacos.
- 6:12Speaker 3: And that sounds great, So I think the next thing
- 6:15Speaker 3: we'll do is spaghetti tacos.
- 6:17Speaker 2: But that was a wind in my house. I love that.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Hey, when you get a when you find a meal
- 6:22Speaker 1: that your two children enjoy excited about, I could imagine
- 6:27Speaker 1: as a parent, that's a big w one hundred percent.
- 6:30Speaker 3: And then you put that in your pocket, like, okay,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I know what to make when we're in dire streets
- 6:36Speaker 3: and they don't, I'm like, well, spaghetti sandwiches.
- 6:38Speaker 2: There we go. I love that.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Okay, Well, today, my little victory, it is a National
- 6:43Speaker 1: Cat Day, all right, And being that there are some
- 6:45Speaker 1: cats in my house that you know, I don't want
- 6:48Speaker 1: to say, we are like best friends Okay, I'm nice
- 6:51Speaker 1: to the cats. We tolerate each other. We kind of
- 6:53Speaker 1: cohabitat habitat. But you know what, I think, maybe today
- 6:58Speaker 1: when I get home, I'll give them all a little
- 7:00Speaker 1: treat for National Cat Day.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I love that. I feel like we hear a lot
- 7:04Speaker 2: about Winona.
- 7:05Speaker 1: She's the favorite. It ain't even close, not even close.
- 7:09Speaker 3: But I got to meet the cats, and they're all
- 7:12Speaker 3: pretty cool and very individual and I really like them.
- 7:16Speaker 3: And my boyfriend Mikey he is obsessed with the cats.
- 7:19Speaker 3: So if you ever fed up, you can just have
- 7:22Speaker 3: Mike come over. He'll play with the cats. He loves
- 7:25Speaker 3: them perfect.
- 7:25Speaker 2: What's he doing at twelve forty five today going to
- 7:28Speaker 2: your house for cat tom? That's right, Todd.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Also, this week is kind we've dubbed it like Salem
- 7:35Speaker 1: Week at the house. All of our cats we got
- 7:37Speaker 1: to name except one of them, and that was Salem.
- 7:41Speaker 1: She has she had that name when we got her,
- 7:43Speaker 1: and so this week is always kind of Salem Week
- 7:46Speaker 1: at the Glinten house because she's an all black cat. Yeah,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Halloween being on Friday, so she might get like a
- 7:52Speaker 1: treat in a half.
- 7:54Speaker 2: That's so unfair to the other cats. Doesn't bother me
- 7:57Speaker 2: a bit on the problem. This is am I the problem?
- 8:05Speaker 3: Where you send us your side of the story and
- 8:08Speaker 3: we let you know if you're in the right or
- 8:11Speaker 3: if maybe, just maybe you're the problem. If you ever
- 8:14Speaker 3: want to send us one, just head to Big nine
- 8:16Speaker 3: eight seven dot com, click the on air tab and
- 8:19Speaker 3: let us know your side of the story. Eric wrote
- 8:22Speaker 3: into us, Hey, Gab and Angie, So, my girlfriend and
- 8:26Speaker 3: I were supposed to go together to a Halloween party
- 8:28Speaker 3: last weekend, and she really wanted us to do a
- 8:31Speaker 3: couple's costume. The invitation said costumes were optional, and I
- 8:36Speaker 3: opted not to dress up.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I don't care about Halloween like that.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Oh, I feel like I'm gonna say he's the problem
- 8:43Speaker 3: based on that alone. She spent all week coming up
- 8:46Speaker 3: with ideas to convince me, but I just wasn't into it.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Because she was so mad I wouldn't do the costume,
- 8:52Speaker 3: I decided to skip it completely, and now she's mad
- 8:56Speaker 3: I didn't go at all.
- 8:58Speaker 2: I don't think I'm the problem.
- 8:59Speaker 3: I think I avoided dealing with her, telling everyone at
- 9:02Speaker 3: the party that I wouldn't match with her, and everyone
- 9:06Speaker 3: hounding me about it. What do you guys think, Oh, Gabe,
- 9:10Speaker 3: what is your take on this?
- 9:14Speaker 2: Is Eric the problem? Or is his girlfriend the problem?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Can they both I don't know. Can they both be wrong?
- 9:23Speaker 1: Sure, they're both one thousand percent wrong's hey, how.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Are they both a thousand percent wrong? Lady? Girlfriend?
- 9:30Speaker 1: He doesn't have to wear a matching costume if he
- 9:33Speaker 1: doesn't want to. All right, he is an adult. He
- 9:35Speaker 1: can wear whatever he wants. Yeah, to the Halloween party.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Eric bro be a bigger fun sucker. I mean, just
- 9:44Speaker 1: wear the stupid costume. Who cares? Just wear it?
- 9:48Speaker 2: So you think it could have gotten either way? Both
- 9:51Speaker 2: of these people sound like losers. Tod Oh my gosh, Gabe,
- 9:55Speaker 2: what do you mean you're not gonna wear a car?
- 9:57Speaker 1: And?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Okay?
- 9:58Speaker 1: Then that's fine. Girlfriend, he doesn't have to match you. Yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I know this is shocking to ladies who like getting
- 10:05Speaker 1: their hobby to dress up in the same costume every year.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 10:08Speaker 1: Can you tell this is something I'm going through at home?
- 10:12Speaker 1: I know this is shocking, But sometimes you just want
- 10:14Speaker 1: to wear whatever you want to wear.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Sometimes you have an idea that you think is really
- 10:18Speaker 1: cool or clever or creative, and that's what you'd rather
- 10:20Speaker 1: do And you know what girlfriend?
- 10:22Speaker 2: That is okay?
- 10:24Speaker 1: And also, Eric didn't want to dress up, so he
- 10:26Speaker 1: didn't go to the Halloween party. There's nothing worse than
- 10:29Speaker 1: hanging out with the person who doesn't have a costume.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Why would you even go? So he made the right
- 10:34Speaker 2: choice by staying home.
- 10:35Speaker 3: You think he made the right choice. I don't think
- 10:37Speaker 3: he should have stayed home.
- 10:39Speaker 1: I'm also saying, put on the stupid costume. What a
- 10:43Speaker 1: dumb thing to argue about. I love how fired up
- 10:46Speaker 1: it is so stupid.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I love how fired up you are about this. What
- 10:50Speaker 2: do you think?
- 10:50Speaker 3: Seven oh one two, eight oh one nine eight seven
- 10:53Speaker 3: do you think Eric is the problem for skipping the
- 10:57Speaker 3: party altogether and not matching his girlfriend? Is his girlfriend
- 11:01Speaker 3: the problem for being such a brat about the couple's costume?
- 11:10Speaker 1: That girl is unlikely to be your forever girl if
- 11:15Speaker 1: you are not willing to do something as simple as
- 11:17Speaker 1: dress up for Halloween with her. That was from Michelle
- 11:20Speaker 1: for am I the problem? And Michelle, you know, I
- 11:22Speaker 1: think you have a solid point here.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Eric skipped a costume optional Halloween party because his girlfriend
- 11:29Speaker 3: was mad he wouldn't do a couple's costume with her,
- 11:32Speaker 3: And now she's mad that he didn't go at all.
- 11:34Speaker 3: So he wants to know if he's the problem or
- 11:36Speaker 3: if his girlfriend is the problem.
- 11:38Speaker 2: And who sent that comment again? That was Michelle Michelle.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah, that feels true to me because I, in my experience,
- 11:48Speaker 3: when a guy for real is so into you, he
- 11:51Speaker 3: will do literally anything you want to. That's not yes,
- 11:56Speaker 3: it is I said in my experience, my personal experience,
- 12:01Speaker 3: my ex hated Halloween never did anything for Halloween with me.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Mikey isn't super invested in Halloween, but because I'm so
- 12:09Speaker 3: into it, he's gone along with my Halloween costume Shenanigans.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so I'm just.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Saying I feel like I get where she's coming from.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I don't think that Eric.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I thought Eric was not the problem until he skipped
- 12:23Speaker 3: the party altogether, because he should have just gone, and
- 12:29Speaker 3: he was worried that she was gonna be telling everyone, Oh,
- 12:32Speaker 3: he wouldn't complaining, he wouldn't match with.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Me, you know, and he wanted to avoid all that.
- 12:38Speaker 3: And I get that, except for that was him preemptively
- 12:41Speaker 3: saying what was gonna happen, and so him skipping all
- 12:44Speaker 3: together and didn't like that.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I think he should have gone.
- 12:47Speaker 3: And then if she did do that and then he
- 12:48Speaker 3: sent us this, I'd be like, your girlfriend is all
- 12:51Speaker 3: the way the problem.
- 12:53Speaker 2: But now I think he's the problem.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I think both of these people are like fifteen years old.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Relationships are about compromise. It may not have been your thing,
- 13:03Speaker 1: but it would have made her happy. There are things
- 13:05Speaker 1: you want to do that she's not into, but we'll
- 13:08Speaker 1: tag along to make you happy. That's from Laura, And
- 13:10Speaker 1: you know what, that might be part of the story.
- 13:13Speaker 1: We don't know. Maybe Eric wanted Laura to go to
- 13:15Speaker 1: top Golf with him or something, and she put a
- 13:17Speaker 1: big kabash on that, and he was like, well, we
- 13:19Speaker 1: don't do things I'm into, so I ain't doing this.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I think that is part of the backstory we don't know.
- 13:24Speaker 3: I think maybe there is like a deeper seded issue
- 13:28Speaker 3: here that we don't know.
- 13:30Speaker 2: And I think Britney makes a good point.
- 13:32Speaker 1: You know, sometimes you should just give in in certain situations.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Seems like this meant a lot to her.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I think he'd expect the same when he really cares
- 13:39Speaker 1: about or wants to do something. It's just how the
- 13:42Speaker 1: world works, That's exactly what I'm saying. Both of these
- 13:45Speaker 1: two are reridiculous to me. He doesn't have to dress
- 13:49Speaker 1: up or go to the party. Okay, but also, hey, dude,
- 13:54Speaker 1: just wear the stupid outfit.
- 13:55Speaker 3: I appreciate that our costumers are more level headed than I.
- 14:12Speaker 2: My husband has the same name as my brother.
- 14:15Speaker 1: It was weird confusing at first, but everyone is used
- 14:18Speaker 1: to it now. You might be going, well, Gabe, what
- 14:20Speaker 1: the heck are you talking about? I want to know,
- 14:22Speaker 1: have you dated someone who has the same name as
- 14:25Speaker 1: like your dad or maybe your mom, or a sibling
- 14:28Speaker 1: or someone of that nature. This is a lot more
- 14:32Speaker 1: common than I guess. I thought there's zero chance on earth.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I'm dating a woman named Molly or Audrey.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Because that's your and your respectively. Okay, I can't do it.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Well, Taren said, And I feel like this is why
- 14:51Speaker 3: it can be common. I've dated two Mike's, which was
- 14:54Speaker 3: my dad's name. The first one was weird, but it
- 14:56Speaker 3: wasn't the name. It probably helps it. I never called
- 14:59Speaker 3: my dad by his first name when I was a kid.
- 15:01Speaker 3: When you, I am dating a mic now, but I'm not.
- 15:05Speaker 3: I'm of Cuban descent. That's not a name. That's just
- 15:08Speaker 3: in our repertoire. Normally, and so no one in my
- 15:11Speaker 3: family is named Mike. But when it's one of those
- 15:13Speaker 3: more common names, John, Mike, what are other common names, Chris,
- 15:19Speaker 3: I get that happening more.
- 15:21Speaker 2: It's when it's more Nietzsche names that's like, oh okay.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Like if you are a dude and your sister's name
- 15:30Speaker 3: is Chrysanthemum and you meet the one other Chrysanthemum and
- 15:34Speaker 3: fall in love, that would probably be weird.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I think they just call that bad luck. Yeah, you
- 15:40Speaker 2: know what I mean.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I know how many Gabriels are running out there
- 15:43Speaker 1: for Mollie to run into my sister.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I'm Angie. Just Angie. It's not even
- 15:49Speaker 3: short for any angel. It's not sure for Angela, Angelina, nothing,
- 15:54Speaker 3: It's just Angie. So in the event, let's say my
- 15:57Speaker 3: brother met an Angela who normally goes by Angie and
- 16:01Speaker 3: he like fell for her, he probably would be like, well,
- 16:04Speaker 3: I'm just gonna call you Angela, you know what I mean, Yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 3: to keep it from being weird. Seven one two eight
- 16:09Speaker 3: o one nine eight seven Have you dated someone with
- 16:13Speaker 3: a family member's name?
- 16:15Speaker 1: I do wonder too, if maybe ladies dating guys. I
- 16:20Speaker 1: do wonder a little bit if this is kind of different.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm not saying that this happens never, but you know,
- 16:27Speaker 1: there's a lot of dudes who are juniors, right, Yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 1: like Ryan Junior, Chris Junior, whatever, Sam Junior. I mean,
- 16:36Speaker 1: there's only so many names. Yeah, at some point, I
- 16:41Speaker 1: just feel like there's a lot more ladies' names out
- 16:43Speaker 1: there than guys. Like guys, and so many dudes are
- 16:46Speaker 1: just name what their dad was.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Well, Jessica said, my husband, dad, father in law, and son.
- 16:52Speaker 2: All have the same name. That is crazy, but that's
- 16:57Speaker 2: what happened.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah, my ex in law, her husband is named Raymond
- 17:04Speaker 3: and they always called him Ray. But her dad is
- 17:07Speaker 3: Raynaldo and they always called him Ray. So she's like,
- 17:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna go ahead and call you Raymond. Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I think Julia does make a decent point here as well.
- 17:13Speaker 1: She said, my husband and dad have the same first name,
- 17:16Speaker 1: but I always called my dad dad, so I never
- 17:20Speaker 1: found it weird.
- 17:21Speaker 2: It's a very common name. Yeah, so I don't know
- 17:23Speaker 2: their name's like John or something.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Okay, so it's not like she's been using never mind,
- 17:27Speaker 3: I can't.
- 17:28Speaker 2: It was gonna be a daddy joke.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I can't do it seven oh one two eight zero
- 17:31Speaker 1: one nine eight seven. Could you or would you date
- 17:35Speaker 1: someone with the same name as a sibling or a parent?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Audrey and Molly.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I obviously there are Molly's out there, but Audrey isn't
- 17:43Speaker 1: a very common name in twenty twenty five. I don't
- 17:47Speaker 1: know one person under the age of like thirty five
- 17:51Speaker 1: named Audrey.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I can't think of a single one.
- 17:54Speaker 3: If you're an Audrey, give us a call seven on one,
- 17:57Speaker 3: two eight on one, nine eight seven.
- 18:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 18:05Speaker 1: A eleven point seven million dollar village of tiny homes
- 18:12Speaker 1: is being built here in the Midwest. It's to support
- 18:16Speaker 1: military veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Led by Veterans
- 18:21Speaker 1: Community Project and supported by state and private funding, the
- 18:26Speaker 1: development will include about forty fully furnished homes on seven acres,
- 18:30Speaker 1: and the site will also feature a central hub with
- 18:33Speaker 1: case management, classrooms, and services to help residents with food, emotional,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and mental health needs. Construction is already underway with the
- 18:42Speaker 1: goal of providing stability, housing and community for veterans and
- 18:47Speaker 1: their families, which is just wonderful to see.
- 18:50Speaker 3: I love this so much that transition is difficult. I
- 18:55Speaker 3: know a few veterans in my life, and this is
- 18:58Speaker 3: something that would have been made for them as they
- 19:00Speaker 3: transition back to civilian life.
- 19:02Speaker 2: I love that they're doing this, that's right.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I hope we see more of these things kind of
- 19:05Speaker 1: pop up around and throughout the country, and not just
- 19:08Speaker 1: here in the Midwest. The world is full of nice people.
- 19:10Speaker 1: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
