- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome back to SEC Football Addiction. Stephen Willis

- 0:16Speaker 1: been a wild week in the last seven days for
- 0:20Speaker 1: the SEC. And, man, I'll just cut to the chase.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I think Ole Miss is playing better football right now
- 0:27Speaker 1: than Texas. I think everybody in the country would agree
- 0:29Speaker 1: with that. You know, what worries me the most in
- 0:31Speaker 1: this game is the circle of chaos, the circle of suck,
- 0:34Speaker 1: whatever you call it in the SEC of you're not
- 0:36Speaker 1: allowed to play good games back to back. Like you
- 0:38Speaker 1: have to.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And so, yeah, Texas is not supposed to win this game.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Ole Miss is supposed to win this game based on
- 0:44Speaker 1: the way they're playing. But that's not how football works.
- 0:47Speaker 1: So I am really intrigued that like, again, nothing we're
- 0:50Speaker 1: going to break down just like does the SEC keep
- 0:53Speaker 1: being chaotic?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of those weird things.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Remember, this Texas team, they might be the most talented
- 0:59Speaker 3: team in the entire conference if you look at the
- 1:01Speaker 3: preseason accolades and all of that. So it wouldn't surprise
- 1:05Speaker 3: anybody if Texas rose up and just popped you because
- 1:09Speaker 3: if they rise up, I think their best would be
- 1:11Speaker 3: just about everybody else's best. And so if that happens,
- 1:16Speaker 3: you're in trouble. But you're dealing with a team right
- 1:18Speaker 3: now that's in a crisis of confidence, a real thing.
- 1:21Speaker 3: If you can get an early start with Trinidad Chambliss
- 1:24Speaker 3: and get that offense going and all of that. You
- 1:27Speaker 3: get up by two scores on this Texas team. What
- 1:29Speaker 3: does that look like? What does DKR look like? Now
- 1:32Speaker 3: it's going to be a big game on ABC that
- 1:34Speaker 3: night and all of that, but this wouldn't be a
- 1:39Speaker 3: situation to where like Florida against South Carolina, where you
- 1:43Speaker 3: just didn't see it coming. This is going to be
- 1:46Speaker 3: a very difficult task for Ole Miss. They're underdogs in
- 1:49Speaker 3: this game. The talent, if they come up and get you,
- 1:53Speaker 3: they can absolutely bite you. But there have to be
- 1:56Speaker 3: ways to mitigate this. And we'll see what Pete Golding's
- 2:01Speaker 3: ideas on that are.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm very intrigued to see if that Ole Miss
- 2:04Speaker 1: defense can replicate some of the things they did really,
- 2:08Speaker 1: really well against Missouri, who was a trendy upset pick,
- 2:11Speaker 1: to maybe go into Oxford and win. They did anything
- 2:15Speaker 1: but that. Ole Miss absolutely dominated that game, shut down
- 2:20Speaker 1: the running game. And I do think that that will
- 2:23Speaker 1: be a big, big piece of this, is can Ole
- 2:26Speaker 1: Miss limit Texas' running game, which has not... which has
- 2:31Speaker 1: not been lighting the world on fire by any means,
- 2:34Speaker 1: and then put all that pressure on a quarterback position
- 2:36Speaker 1: that has really struggled this year.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, if you do that, what is it, Pete Golding said,
- 2:41Speaker 3: if you stop the run, you get to have a
- 2:42Speaker 3: little fun. And the fun with that would be Will
- 2:45Speaker 3: Echols on that Texas offensive line. They've given up like
- 2:48Speaker 3: 17 sacks this season as an offensive line. This could
- 2:53Speaker 3: be a chance for this Ole Miss defensive front to
- 2:55Speaker 3: get after Arch, but they have to stop the run
- 2:57Speaker 3: to do that.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Now, I don't know.
- 3:00Speaker 3: who we need to send the thank you card to
- 3:03Speaker 3: but somebody at the University of Florida we do need
- 3:05Speaker 3: to say thank you to because that bye week was
- 3:08Speaker 3: spent listen the Tuesday after the Florida game the defense
- 3:12Speaker 3: went out there and they didn't call one defense it
- 3:15Speaker 3: was all about being physical going after the football everything
- 3:19Speaker 3: that you can imagine and what you've seen is a
- 3:21Speaker 3: mind shift set shift in Ole Miss on the defensive
- 3:26Speaker 3: side of the ball against the run, they've given up
- 3:28Speaker 3: an average of 72 yards per game since that Florida game.
- 3:33Speaker 3: And if they can replicate that against Texas because stopping
- 3:36Speaker 3: the run, believe it or not, is the most important
- 3:39Speaker 3: thing when you play Texas because when Sark outrushes you,
- 3:42Speaker 3: I think he's undefeated at Texas. So you have to
- 3:46Speaker 3: stop the run. You have to run the football. What's
- 3:49Speaker 3: the old saying? You're going on the road, you have
- 3:51Speaker 3: to pack your run game, you have to pack your defense.
- 3:54Speaker 3: If you do that, Ole Miss is going to be
- 3:55Speaker 3: absolutely fine. But again, you're dealing with elite football players.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and I do agree with you. If they can
- 4:02Speaker 1: slow down the run, it puts a lot of pressure
- 4:04Speaker 1: on Arch Manning, which then, or if there is a
- 4:07Speaker 1: quarterback switch, we'll see, but I think it'll be Arch.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I would then pivot to, okay, he has struggled throwing
- 4:15Speaker 1: the ball. But there is all that talent with Wingo
- 4:18Speaker 1: and Coleman and injury. Like they've got good weapons. And
- 4:22Speaker 1: so Ole Miss cannot be the team that lets Texas's
- 4:27Speaker 1: passing game finally look like the Texas passing game that
- 4:29Speaker 1: we thought it would be in this off season with
- 4:31Speaker 1: all those weapons.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:32Speaker 1: So it's like you, you limit the run, you put
- 4:34Speaker 1: the game on Archer's shoulders. All right. Now don't let
- 4:37Speaker 1: him go out there and beat you. Now, certainly in
- 4:39Speaker 1: a Trinidad versus Arch game, head-to-head right now, even though
- 4:42Speaker 1: they're never on the field at the same time. I
- 4:43Speaker 1: like Trinidad and would probably take him over any quarterback
- 4:47Speaker 1: in this country. But at the same time, you're on
- 4:50Speaker 1: the road, you're playing in a potentially hostile environment. This
- 4:54Speaker 1: can't be the game that Arch gets right if you're
- 4:57Speaker 1: Ole Miss.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the whole thing.
- 5:00Speaker 3: It's like you figure Texas is going to eventually figure
- 5:03Speaker 3: it out.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I think they're the second youngest team in the.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Power Four or something like that. Young players usually eventually
- 5:08Speaker 3: figure it out. You just hope it's next week. You
- 5:12Speaker 3: don't want them to get right on you because there's
- 5:15Speaker 3: a lot of Ole Miss fans that have PTSD about
- 5:18Speaker 3: teams that get right just.
- 5:20Speaker 2: In time for the game against Ole Miss.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I'm sure every fan base can think of moments like
- 5:25Speaker 3: that as well. But if it happens, when Arch throws
- 5:29Speaker 3: you the ball, catch it. I mean, it's going to happen.
- 5:33Speaker 3: He's going to give you a couple opportunities during the game.
- 5:36Speaker 2: You have to do that. If you don't, if you
- 5:38Speaker 2: give them.
- 5:39Speaker 3: An extra down, all those super athletes can actually bite you.
- 5:43Speaker 3: So the defense stopping the run, catching the ball when
- 5:46Speaker 3: Arch throws it, and do not let, what's his name,
- 5:49Speaker 3: Ryan Niblett get loose in special teams.
- 5:52Speaker 2: If that happens, I think you'll be all right.
- 5:56Speaker 1: The Ole Miss offense obviously got a ton of confidence
- 5:59Speaker 1: in Trinidad. They've got good weapons. I am a little intrigued.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Simmons is the big the big piece there for Texas.
- 6:07Speaker 1: And if he's not going, then you certainly are thankful
- 6:10Speaker 1: for that from the Ole Miss side. Uh, but they
- 6:13Speaker 1: still have guys that I think will be very elite
- 6:15Speaker 1: NFL prospects up, up, up front. Um, so he, I
- 6:18Speaker 1: think he counts accounts for half their sacks total. So
- 6:22Speaker 1: that's a huge piece if it's not there to, for
- 6:25Speaker 1: Texas to try and find a way to, to, um,
- 6:29Speaker 1: fill that gap. Hey, I'll get right back to chatting
- 6:31Speaker 1: with Steven. But first, do me a quick favor. Make
- 6:33Speaker 1: sure you are subscribed here to SEC Football Addiction. If
- 6:37Speaker 1: you haven't already, do that first. Second, if you already have,
- 6:41Speaker 1: make sure you're subscribed to an audio platform. Search SEC
- 6:44Speaker 1: Football Addiction on both Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The links are in the description. Appreciate you guys for
- 6:50Speaker 1: your support. Now back to the interview. But the Ole
- 6:52Speaker 1: Miss offense going up against the Texas defense that quite
- 6:55Speaker 1: frankly was not good enough last week against Florida. Um,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm interested to see how Texas's defense responds here and
- 7:01Speaker 1: what Ole Miss is able to do, because I do
- 7:02Speaker 1: think they're, you know, look, they're a better, they're a
- 7:05Speaker 1: better offense than Florida has or had been playing for
- 7:08Speaker 1: the last few weeks. And Florida's offense, I didn't think
- 7:10Speaker 1: did anything super spectacular. They ran the ball a little
- 7:13Speaker 1: bit more like we're accustomed to seeing them do. Um,
- 7:15Speaker 1: but that gives Ole Miss an opportunity to one run
- 7:17Speaker 1: the ball too, for Trinidad to have some, uh, some
- 7:20Speaker 1: big moments on the road.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Yeah. One of the, um, Kiwan Lacy's childhood team growing
- 7:26Speaker 3: up was the Texas Longhorns and they did not recruit
- 7:28Speaker 3: him at all. So I am curious to see what
- 7:31Speaker 3: a motivated Kiwan Lacy looks like going back to Austin.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I want to see what that looks like. But this
- 7:39Speaker 2: is a big deal.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Colin Simmons not potentially playing in this game because when
- 7:43Speaker 3: he was playing, that's a game plan alterer. You have
- 7:47Speaker 3: to keep a tight end to block. You have to
- 7:49Speaker 3: chip with running backs. You have to plan for that
- 7:52Speaker 3: player because he's such a game wrecker. If you don't
- 7:56Speaker 3: do it, he'll end up like he did in Knoxville
- 7:57Speaker 3: and have five and a half sacks or.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 8:00Speaker 3: So him being out of the game means that you
- 8:03Speaker 3: can kind of play offense on your own terms. You
- 8:07Speaker 3: have basically the same thing as LSU and Missouri and
- 8:10Speaker 3: all of that. No elite game wrecker player. So Trinidad
- 8:15Speaker 3: should be able to have time. Ole Miss has given
- 8:17Speaker 3: up less than a sack a game. They've given up
- 8:19Speaker 3: five over the course of six games. The offensive line
- 8:22Speaker 3: has played very well. This lack of addition of Colin
- 8:28Speaker 3: Simmons in this game, I don't think we know how
- 8:31Speaker 3: big that is at the moment because while they're elite players,
- 8:36Speaker 3: while they're good players, nobody on that Texas team has
- 8:39Speaker 3: had multiple sacks in a ballgame but Colin Simmons.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And I think that matters a little bit.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah. What's the biggest thing? Is it just the talent?
- 8:50Speaker 1: Is that what worries you the most, or is there
- 8:53Speaker 1: a matchup that you don't like in this game for
- 8:55Speaker 1: Ole Miss that worries.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You the most? Yeah, it's the talent.
- 9:01Speaker 3: It's one of those things that if they click, if
- 9:03Speaker 3: they have their day, there's just not a lot that
- 9:06Speaker 3: you can do.
- 9:07Speaker 2: They're that team.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Now, Think about the, now I'm going to go back
- 9:11Speaker 3: in time a little bit, and this might be before
- 9:13Speaker 3: your time, the 1990 Michigan Wolverines.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I was born in 90, so yeah, you got me
- 9:19Speaker 1: by a few there.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that team went to the Gator Bowl, had Desmond Howard.
- 9:24Speaker 3: It was the year before he won the Heisman Trophy.
- 9:27Speaker 3: They lost on the last second two times during the season,
- 9:30Speaker 3: I think ended up going 9-2.
- 9:33Speaker 2: So they were out of the bowl.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Game, out of the national championship picture, but that was
- 9:37Speaker 3: Elvis Gerbach and all those guys.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Up at Michigan.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Ole Miss played them in the Gator Bowl. And in
- 9:43Speaker 3: the Gator Bowl, Michigan got right. They figured it out.
- 9:46Speaker 2: And it was 35-3, and I don't think it was
- 9:49Speaker 2: that close. It was one of those things.
- 9:52Speaker 3: And it was just an elite talent team that was
- 9:54Speaker 3: a little bit down on their luck that kind of
- 9:56Speaker 3: figured it out on one day and was able to roll.
- 9:59Speaker 3: and you worry about that with the when you deal
- 10:02Speaker 3: with this texas team and you just hope to prolong
- 10:04Speaker 3: it you need to score early you need a good
- 10:06Speaker 3: stop start you need um to not turn the ball
- 10:10Speaker 3: over you need to avoid momentum shifting plays if that
- 10:13Speaker 3: can happen the longer it can take in the game
- 10:16Speaker 3: you're going to be in good shape but if you
- 10:18Speaker 3: allow everything to flip if that switch flips you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Could be in a lot of trouble where's the place
- 10:25Speaker 1: you feel like Ole Miss can take advantage of Texas
- 10:27Speaker 1: the most.
- 10:28Speaker 3: Um I think Caleb Odom and Caleb Cunningham the the
- 10:32Speaker 3: tight end hybrid guy and the big play wide receiver
- 10:37Speaker 3: I think Ole Miss can win matchups and one-on-ones because
- 10:40Speaker 3: not everybody is paying attention that six foot six 240
- 10:43Speaker 3: pounds of tight end and can run like a deer,
- 10:46Speaker 3: like a wide receiver. That's going to be a matchup
- 10:48Speaker 3: problem for the linebackers and for the safeties.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I think with Trinidad's ability.
- 10:53Speaker 3: To basically not be afraid of small windows, because that's
- 10:58Speaker 3: one of Trinidad's biggest gifts is he's not afraid of
- 11:01Speaker 3: small windows. You're going to have tight windows in this game.
- 11:05Speaker 3: And if you can catch the ball, use your mismatches,
- 11:08Speaker 3: you have a chance to go.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I would say that just by virtue of having the
- 11:13Speaker 1: second sec loss, Texas is, is probably the more desperate
- 11:17Speaker 1: team here, but I will also point to the fact
- 11:20Speaker 1: that Ole Miss has games against Texas and Georgia left
- 11:24Speaker 1: on the schedule. And so as important as this is
- 11:27Speaker 1: for Texas and Sark's future and Archer's legacy, everything else,
- 11:31Speaker 1: like this is vitally important for Ole Miss too. We've
- 11:34Speaker 1: seen what the sec can be. And just like we're
- 11:38Speaker 1: talking about with Texas and, having two losses in October. Well,
- 11:41Speaker 1: if Ole Miss loses on Saturday, then they've got two
- 11:43Speaker 1: SEC losses in October. So it is of vital importance.
- 11:46Speaker 1: It's the most crucial SEC game of the weekend, without
- 11:48Speaker 1: a doubt.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Yeah, and look at it like this. This is a
- 11:51Speaker 3: great opportunity to make it to where that Georgia game
- 11:55Speaker 3: isn't do or die.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 3: And if you beat Texas in Austin, all of a
- 11:59Speaker 3: sudden the national championship is an option. The SEC championship
- 12:03Speaker 3: is the option. All of the goals that you had
- 12:06Speaker 3: ahead of the season come October 25th are still on
- 12:10Speaker 3: the table. And you have Auburn. That's a game, honestly,
- 12:14Speaker 3: they're good. They can beat you, but you should win.
- 12:17Speaker 3: You have Oklahoma.
- 12:18Speaker 2: We've seen what Oklahoma has. You have Mississippi State. We've
- 12:21Speaker 2: seen Mississippi State and Wofford.
- 12:23Speaker 3: It becomes a Texas-Georgia season, potentially, for Ole Miss to
- 12:28Speaker 3: accomplish all of their goals.
- 12:30Speaker 2: And they have the talent to do it.
- 12:33Speaker 3: One crazy, emotionally draining game against LSU and then going
- 12:37Speaker 3: on the road to Gainesville– If that was the hiccup,
- 12:39Speaker 3: if that was the wake-up call for this football team
- 12:42Speaker 3: moving forward, like I said, we need to send a
- 12:44Speaker 3: thank-you card to John Summerall.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Somebody asked me this week who the team I trust
- 12:50Speaker 1: the most in the SEC is. And I said, you know,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I just think with Kirby being who he is, I
- 12:56Speaker 1: guess it's still Georgia, even with the Auburn loss. Like,
- 12:59Speaker 1: you get one hiccup, but I was like, man, if
- 13:01Speaker 1: they win this weekend, it might be Ole Miss. That
- 13:03Speaker 1: might be the team that I truly do trust the
- 13:06Speaker 1: most in the sec. And admittedly, yes, Kirby's legacy. You'd
- 13:12Speaker 1: make a fine argument for them. The problem is I
- 13:15Speaker 1: don't know that there is a good answer right now
- 13:17Speaker 1: because of how chaotic the sec has been. That's a
- 13:19Speaker 1: product of obviously an IL on the portal and just
- 13:21Speaker 1: the chaos that we've seen through the first seven weeks
- 13:24Speaker 1: of this season. But, um, if it's not Georgia, it
- 13:27Speaker 1: is Ole Miss, right? And maybe Ole Miss is your 2A,
- 13:31Speaker 1: if that's the case, or your 1A.
- 13:33Speaker 2: 1B with UGA.
- 13:35Speaker 1: But I do think that Ole Miss can really, they
- 13:39Speaker 1: can establish themselves as one of the teams to beat
- 13:42Speaker 1: in this sport this weekend. I know I just talked
- 13:44Speaker 1: about the importance, but they can also go the other way.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And if they lose this game, then we might be
- 13:53Speaker 1: having the conversations of, all right, well, the SEC really
- 13:56Speaker 1: is just a hodgepodge of 9-3 to 10-2 teams, and
- 14:00Speaker 1: we'll see who comes out on top. But I think
- 14:02Speaker 1: they really could make a statement this week of saying, yeah, man,
- 14:05Speaker 1: we're one of the better teams in this conference. Not
- 14:07Speaker 1: that they aren't already, but maybe solidify that a little
- 14:10Speaker 1: bit more.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Yeah, the funny thing is, and I like to laugh
- 14:13Speaker 3: at this from time to time, is there are fans
- 14:17Speaker 3: and pundits and all that that are trying to talk
- 14:19Speaker 3: about what is happening now in college football like it's 2014-2015.
- 14:25Speaker 2: And there's just not an elite team. I'll put it
- 14:29Speaker 2: like this.
- 14:29Speaker 3: If it was even 2017 and this Miami team was
- 14:35Speaker 3: on the field, and I think Miami is the best
- 14:36Speaker 3: team in college football right now, and I don't know
- 14:39Speaker 3: that it's particularly close at the moment, but they might
- 14:43Speaker 3: lose by two touchdowns to those Alabama and Ohio State
- 14:47Speaker 3: and LSU teams from last decade. The elite team doesn't
- 14:51Speaker 3: exist anymore. So you have to have a good quarterback.
- 14:55Speaker 3: You have to win in the margins. You have to
- 14:58Speaker 3: figure out where you can get an advantage from because
- 15:02Speaker 3: you're not as separated as you once were.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It's one of those things. I think the average margin
- 15:07Speaker 2: of victory last year.
- 15:08Speaker 3: In the SEC was like 10 points when it was
- 15:11Speaker 3: 20 points like 10 years before.
- 15:15Speaker 2: It's just a different animal right now.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I like where Ole Miss sits and where they are,
- 15:21Speaker 3: but that's only just because they're winning games. It's not
- 15:23Speaker 3: because I think they're an elite team. I just think
- 15:26Speaker 3: they have a shot against everybody they're playing, but they
- 15:29Speaker 3: can also lose to everybody they're playing.
- 15:31Speaker 2: It would not.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Surprise me at all if Ole Miss beat Texas and
- 15:35Speaker 3: then before the Georgia game lost to Auburn or something
- 15:38Speaker 3: like that because that would just be college football essentially. But, yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 3: it's one of those things to where parity is happening
- 15:46Speaker 3: and the gap and start talking conferences back and forth,
- 15:49Speaker 3: that's a silly argument. because I don't think people that
- 15:53Speaker 3: are making that argument are actually looking at what's happening.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I don't have the specific stat. I'm trying to pull
- 16:00Speaker 1: it up real quick, but I don't think I'm going to,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't think I'm going to find it fast enough
- 16:04Speaker 1: and don't want to take time to edit this, but
- 16:07Speaker 1: I did see, yeah, no, I did find it. How
- 16:09Speaker 1: much is talent spread around college football now that there
- 16:11Speaker 1: are three or four teams can't hoard at all? This week,
- 16:15Speaker 1: 92% of all games have a Vegas line of two
- 16:19Speaker 1: scores or less. That's all college football games, not just
- 16:22Speaker 1: the SEC. A decade ago, the same week, that number
- 16:26Speaker 1: was 65%. So we went from 92% of college football
- 16:32Speaker 1: being mostly blowouts. Like you could go grab eight Moneyline
- 16:36Speaker 1: parlays and put them all together and say, yeah, I
- 16:38Speaker 1: feel pretty good about that. Now it's down to 65%.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You're just a shade over 50% or right at two-thirds
- 16:44Speaker 1: of the sport. Huge jump in the last decade. And
- 16:47Speaker 1: the parity is off the charts. It makes it really
- 16:49Speaker 1: fun for neutrals. It makes it a lot harder when
- 16:52Speaker 1: it's your team playing and you've got those hard palpitations
- 16:55Speaker 1: every day.
- 16:56Speaker 3: And that number lets me know, like the 2014 playoff
- 16:59Speaker 3: that everybody is performatively against, it is definitely the Blue
- 17:03Speaker 3: Bloods that are the most against that because anything that
- 17:07Speaker 3: provides for more parity, more teams to be interested, more
- 17:11Speaker 3: teams to be involved, that is a problem to those
- 17:14Speaker 3: 10 programs that used to be the face of college football.
- 17:18Speaker 3: That already isn't the way it is, and it's just
- 17:21Speaker 3: going to get I'm not going to say worse, but
- 17:24Speaker 3: worse for them because with the 2014 playoff, you're going
- 17:28Speaker 3: to have 35 teams now that are really invested in
- 17:31Speaker 3: football as opposed to right now 20 teams. And when
- 17:35Speaker 3: it was a 14 playoff, seven teams. No.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Steven, going back to the Texas game, I think Ole
- 17:43Speaker 1: Miss is playing better. I think they probably should win
- 17:46Speaker 1: this game from a matchup perspective. I also think college
- 17:49Speaker 1: football is just dumb right now and dumb is not
- 17:52Speaker 1: the right, you know, just like the results are dumb
- 17:53Speaker 1: and don't make sense. So I think it's gonna be
- 17:55Speaker 1: really tough. I do think it's a fun competitive game,
- 17:57Speaker 1: but what's your pick in this one?
- 18:00Speaker 3: I think it's going to be, well, um, 31 ish
- 18:04Speaker 3: to 27.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I think it's going to be a tight game.
- 18:08Speaker 3: I think it's, it's going to be the, one way
- 18:11Speaker 3: or another, like I said, it wouldn't surprise me if
- 18:13Speaker 3: Texas's talent got it. And, um, was able to outdo
- 18:17Speaker 3: Ole Miss on that. But I'm going to go with
- 18:18Speaker 3: the Rebels. I'm going to go with Trinidad Chambliss. And
- 18:22Speaker 3: like Nick Saban said, you don't bet against six when
- 18:24Speaker 3: the ball's in his hands.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Where can people follow you? What do you have coming
- 18:28Speaker 1: for them this week? And where can they get all
- 18:30Speaker 1: your stuff?

- 18:34Speaker 3: get your podcasts. You can also go to OleMissHub.com. We

- 18:41Speaker 3: show about 30 minutes after the game.

- 18:44Speaker 3: And college football as a whole will be reacting Sunday night.
